Chapter 6!

REVIEWS:

Shadow Joester: Find out in this chapter.

M1903A4: I know, and the reactions of the other parents are going to be less chaotic.

LuckyPickl3: LOL. Not today, Saly Scythe!

Chibi-Juubi: Aww. Ok. Granted, I find Qrow X Summer to make more sense considering Ruby's looks and how she resembles Qrow more than Tai in multiple aspects.

It was the late evening during the same day that Jaune had managed to escape the two angered fathers and Cinder was slowly walking back towards her room. After the whole incident in which Summer spilled the beans, the two males and women had to hold a lengthy conversation with the girls to calm them down enough, Yang even breaking a desk in her rage. Luckily Summer was there to defuse the situation with Yang, who eventually calmed down. The talk went on until Tai heard Yang tell him about what she almost did, feeling a bit of pride knowing her daughter didn't follow in her mother's footsteps. Qrow, for his part, sighed and tried to reach for his flask, but Summer's hand stopped him. Those silver eyes of hers that harbored so much kindness, even after 15 years of not seeing them, still affected him. For the first time in God knows how long, he had put the flask down without a sip. The talk continued for a little bit until Ruby and Yang stated their points on the marriage; Ruby being reluctant to admit in front of her father and uncle - who was who didn't matter at this point anymore - showing a blush on her cheeks. However, with Yang being mostly back to normal, she took the opportunity to spill the beans on what Ruby said during that night, making the girl blush and whine out, trying to get her sister - cousin, to stop.

After the conversation was done, however, and Summer stated that despite not being sisters, they were still as close as them, everyone simply hugged it out. Granted, Ruby and Summer had a hard time breathing because of how bad Qrow stunk of alcohol. Safe to say he was threatened that if he doesn't shower soon he will be chopped down by not one, but two scythe-wielding women. That ruffled his feathers.

But then Tai made his word known. "This is a beautiful moment, girls, but…" Tai traced his gaze to Qrow, the other man returning the gaze with a nod of his head as he got Harbinger out, while Tai got his own weapon out from Gods know where. He was Yang's father alright. On his arms were a pair of mechanized gauntlets that extended all the way to his shoulders and surrounded the base of his fingers. They were golden in color and the wrist and the back of the palms were covered in fur for decoration. It was somewhat mechanical, but not much. All in all, this was Tai's weapon; Nemean Fury. "We still need to put this blonde into his place for sleeping with our daughters!"

"Damn right it is, Tai!" Qrow said, swinging his sword around and placing it back on his back. "Let's get him."

Ever since that happened they have been hunting poor Jaune all around Beacon, Tai walking through the halls of the dorms while Qrow surveyed the outside in his bird form, trying to see him from the windows. No luck until now. Some rooms had the draperies closed, making it impossible for him to look inside the rooms. Tai, for his part, was on high alert for any sign of Jaune Arc, his weapon ready. He didn't have any long-range options on it, but he was fine. He was more than fine as this was more than enough to still castrate someone.

And Jaune, in order to hide, went to Salem's room, where Emerald and Cinder also lived. Salem was currently talking with Ozpin about some stuff and Emerald was walking around the campus, leaving Cinder alone to return to the room to a jumpy Jaune, who pulled his sword on her on instinct, nearly making her do the same if not for him quickly dashing past her, shoving her inside the room, and closing the door, then making sure the windows were properly covered.

Cinder was confused by this behavior from him, recognizing fear when she saw it. But from what? With a relieved sigh, Jaune sat down on Salem's bed, holding his head as he felt a small headache show itself. "Is everything ok?" Cinder asked, more out of curiosity than out of sympathy.

"Well…" Jaune said, trying to look at her and act as if nothing was wrong, but she saw right through that lie. "You see, Ruby's and Yang's fathers found out about the marriage, and now...They are hunting me down like some animal" Cinder actually let out an amused smirk at that, finding it hard to believe that was the case. She saw her fair bit of parenting, even if hers was...rougher than the norm, but she had yet to see such parents actually going of their way to-

"Come on out, Arc! I got your name on my weapons and they are anxious to make acquaintance with your face!" Tai shouted from the hall, making Cinder rethink her initial statement. It looked like there were such parents on Remnant after all. However, another detail stood out to her. She knows that was Tai Xiao Long from his voice, but Jaune said 'fathers', in the plural. She did not miss the details.

"I thought the two of them were half-sisters, sharing the same father. So why refer to him as two different people?" She asked, to which Jaune answered as best as he could.

"Turns out Ruby was never Tai's daughter, but Qrow's, her so-called uncle. It is a long story, really." He said, making Cinder widen her eyes at the news. All of this time, the daughter of the man who foiled her plan back then was right under her nose? Not to mention that she fought Ruby before during that night with Torchwick! She could've gotten revenge so easily, yet she let it slip. She might have not been aware of the fact, but that doesn't change the fact she missed a great opportunity. Qrow Brawnen was easily one of the best Huntsmen currently alive, with Tyrian and Hazel, and not even Adam coming even close to his level of skill. Not even she did. "However, that means I only have two, full-fledged Huntsmen, hunting for me now." he finished, to which Cinder sighed. This was who she was married to now? Pitiful.

"Jaune, just for the sake of Salem and my own, I will tell you this; you are pathetic" He slumped his head down. "Hiding here while they are hunting you down instead of facing them and being a man. What are you so afraid of? It's not like they are actually going to kill you. Ozpin wouldn't allow it, so what is the hold-up?"

Jaune flinched at her words, finding the truth in them. True, he should be a man about it and face the two of them and maybe, possibly, get a beating out of it again. But still, he would've done it as a man, not as a wuss. But then again, there was another thing holding him back. "It's just that...Summer accepted that I do not truly love Ruby now and that I was willing to try, but will they give me that time?"

"Your point?" Cinder asked, showing little interest in his words.

"I just do not want to start off the wrong foot with them"

"Jaune, you married and fucked both of their daughters in an orgy. You are long past that point" Cinder pointed out, making the Arc flinch again. Once more, a truth he cannot deny. "Look, I get that you snuck into Beacon and all of that, and you are trying hard to catch up to everyone, but this is a step back, not forward"

"What do you mean?" Jaune asked, struggling to find the meaning of her words. On one hand, she did bring up his transcript in a way but cared little about them...At least as far as she showed...How was this a step back? Everything that has happened is barely a planned event, in fact, it was not planned at all, in the slightest!

"What I mean is that you have not truly caught up with the others mentally even if your body is progressing. You are still shy, clumsy, and in short terms...a dorkish knight who is more like a child playing pretend than an actual warrior" She stated, making Jaune feel his self-confidence get lower than it already was. However, she then sighed. "But...And I am saying this from what I have seen you do until now - standing up to Lady Salem - and from things, I have heard around campus. You have a big heart." She mused the last part, then went closer to him, looking down at him. "You are brave, proven by coming to Beacon knowing full well of the risks; you are selfless, proven when you confessed to Pyrrha as to give them the choice to remove you from Beacon instead of having you as a deadweight; and, despite all appearances, you are smarter than you look. I heard about how you plan during missions on the fly - truly impressive for someone your age. Your family's refusal to train you was a big mistake as they were letting all of that potential go to waste. Even now, even if you are trying your hardest, you might never reach the level you would've reached had you started like everyone else"

Jaune felt strange as he heard her say those things to him. She was blunt and truthful in her words, not beating around the bush. He never thought people thought of him like that, not at all. It made him feel...strange, prideful even. But not the arrogant type of pride, but another one. Looking back, he did progress well, but still lacked a lot and was behind everyone. But he saw the improvements now. As Pyrrha said, he was a quick learner. Maybe he really does only need a bit more confidence. "Cinder?" He called out to her, slowly standing up from the bed.

"Yes-" She didn't get to finish as he grabbed her in his arms, hugging her tightly. Her eyes went wide at the sudden contact, but something was feeling strange within her. The ring on her finger, which she wore as a decoration rather than a symbol, the golden and red detailing with the ember stone in the center of a flame engraved on it started to softly glow as did Jaune's own ring. She felt something within her, something warm. Slowly, this feeling had her wrap her arms around Jaune as well, returning the hug with a moment of silence following before Jaune broke it.

"Thank, Cinder, for telling me all of that. I needed it" He replied, the glow of the rings keeping itself up. Jaune could feel her own emotions within her as well; some anger, frustration, sadness, but the strongest of all was her fear. He reached out deeper without knowing and he could see and feel her emotion. She was afraid of being hurt again by those who were supposed to love her. To protect her. He didn't want to pry, instead, he hugged her more, letting his own emotions mend hers. She could feel his emotions and heart as well; his kindness, his selflessness, and even the love he had in his heart. She could feel his love for everyone, and at that moment, she felt love for her in his heart. But then a dark thought crept over her, and the glow of the rings began to dwindle, eventually growing weaker. Her fear was too much for her to keep down. She couldn't love, nor could she trust someone to love her. They all hurt and betray her - oppress her and leave her starved.

Jaune felt it too. The rings Ozpin gave them surely came in handy. However, he didn't know how he was supposed to help her in this situation. With Salem, it was accidental, not on purpose. Even now he had no desire to use the ring, not that he knew how anyway. But as he felt that fear creeps from within her, he didn't let go of her. The glow was growing stronger because he was willing to fight her fear. "Cinder….?"

"Yes?" She softly replied, a blush starting to form on her face.

"I know I am not much, but I promise to you;" His hold on her became tighter. "I won't desert you. I came to Beacon to be a Hero, true, and I admit that sounds childish. But if there is one thing a Hero never does is run away and hurt the ones around them" Those words alone made Cinder widen her eyes and look up at him a bit. He smiled softly at her, his ocean-blue eyes staring into her bright amber eyes, that ocean which put out her fire instantly. She never felt like this before, so safe...So cared for...Her fear of being hurt by the ones supposed to protect her, her desire for power to prevent that, for that moment was gone, replaced with the serenity of those blue eyes.

It was a heart-warming moment, and Cinder would have not minded if things were taken further, if not for a certain shout killing the mood. "I searched every window on the outside, Tai! No sign of him from an outside view." Qrow stated from outside the hallway, Tai next to him.

"I made sure to check the rooms you couldn't see into as well - first knocking of course. I had to raise two girls, so I am familiar with the concept" Tai said, then the sound of their footsteps growing closer to the door grew louder. Cinder and Jaune both panicked at this, but Cinder, with her years of experience being taught by Salem, knew of something to do.

"Quick! Lay on the bed!" She told him, then without warning pushed him onto the bed, jumping on top of him. "We have to be convincing." She stated and began to lower the straps of her dress, Jaune's breathing hitching at the sight of her lacey crimson bra as her dress fell to her mid-drift. And in one moment, she locked her lips with his, a low, fake moan escaping her lips. She used the blanket to cover the parts of Jaune's body that would've been exposed to Tai and Qrow's sights, and just in time.

The two Huntsmen didn't hear a reply from within the room when they knocked, so they thought Jaune was inside the room, preparing to barge in. Jaune, out of fear, grabbed Cinder again by her waist, earning a surprised moan from her as the door was forced open, allowing the two to enter the room. However, their eyes quickly averted themselves from the sight. From what they could tell from their point of view, a guy was getting lucky and they ruined his plans. "Sorry for that, buddy! We are looking for someone else! Continue!" Tai said as he and Qrow ran out of the room.

Cinder waited a few more seconds before she parted lips with Jaune, both her and the boy feeling the adrenaline wash away. Then a blush spread over Jaune's face as he registered the situation once again. He just kissed Cinder, sober, and she was slightly pressing her chest onto him. The half-maiden, realizing this too, quickly jumped to the side, pulling up her dress with a blush on her face. But she won't let him see it. "They are gone now but wait here until they are done with their hunt. At least they won't think about coming in here anymore" She said.

"What...just happened?" Jaune asked, feeling stunned. In one moment he was hugging Cinder and in the other, she was on top of him with her dress undone just enough to allow her bra-clad chest to spill out in his face. Then she kissed him. It was no normal kiss either, he felt her tongue brush against his teeth as she tried to force her way into his mouth.

"Just a way to get them off your trail, nothing more." She stated, standing up and not facing him." I will go to the bathroom. You stay here. And Jaune?"

"Y-yes?"

"Just try to peak...I dare you." She said, walking into the shower. That tone she used made his blood freeze a bit hearing the obvious threat hidden in there. No way is he going to risk it now. His mind wandered back to what just happened, however.

"Her lips were soft, yet hot. And the way she smelled, of, ironically, blood-red roses was truly something. " He thought, then he looked at the door. He inhaled deeply, knowing that what Cinder said was right. It was time to be a man about it, so he grabbed Crocea Mors and went out through the door.

In the meantime, in the bathroom, Cinder was simply standing in the shower, letting the water flow over her body as she thought back to the moments with Jaune. Never before had she felt like that, so protected and wanted, so cared for and safe… She knew it was because of the rings, but then her fear came. She expected him to break the stupid link to spare himself, yet he fought off her fear. He made it submit! For a moment there everything was gone; her fear, her scars, her desire for power. Her eyes flared as she punched the wall, then she slumped down the said wall. "What is going on…?" She asked herself, then she looked at herself in the mirror across from the shower. Was she even herself anymore? Was she Cinder Fall? Destined All-Maiden of Salem meant to help her Mistress achieve her grand desire? Or was she just Cinder Fall? A lonely woman, broken to her core. She was not the former, but later until he came around and put her pieces together.

And when she jumped on him, even though it was to fool the Huntsmen, when he grabbed her out of fear he was found out, she let out a genuine moan at his touch. She had trained to fake things like that, she had used her charms to fool weaker men to do her bidding. Yet, Jaune was her true first as well. Damn alcohol, making me lose my maidenhood and not even letting me remember it so I can curse it properly." She thought, then her thoughts traced back to him. He was married to eight women, including her and her mistress. He was not only hers, but she didn't mind as long as he kept his promise. She knows Arcs never break them. Wait, what was she thinking? "No! I am only going along with this for the sake and wishes of the mistress! Nothing more!" She thought again, but then her own thoughts replied back to her. The feeling she felt when in his arms, the way his eyes seemed to quell her fire, his muscles - while not that big - still big enough to make her feel safe; who was she kidding anymore? "I...I need to talk with the Mistress later." It looks like she likes to kid around a lot.

Was this a good or bad idea? Jaune didn't really have time to ask himself that as he walked towards the room of team RWBY where Qrow and Tai went, most likely trying to think of alternative places he might be hiding in. The stuff Cinder told him made him realize that he has to face stuff head-on, not run away like a coward. Granted, that didn't mean he couldn't shake in his boots. "Deep breathes, Jaune, deep breathes. You are just meeting your new in-laws, shouldn't be too hard. Right?" He told himself, then he realized that he arrived. He listened in, hearing the voices of the two males along with Ruby, Yang, and Summer. He raised his hand, took in a deep breath, then he began knocking on the door.

"Wait up, Ima get it." Qrow said as he went to the door and turned the handle, opening the door and looking down at a blonde boy with a nervous smile on his face. The older Huntsmen didn't react at first, but when the boy traced his hand to scratch the back of his neck that is when he saw it; a marriage ring. Without warning, he grabbed Jaune by the collar and dragged him in. "Tai! I found him!"

"Really?" Tai asked, turning around, Yang and Ruby both gasping while Summer sighed. "Finally! The defiler shows himself!" He shouted, clashing his fists together as Qrow threw Jaune in the middle of the room, pulling his weapon out. "Any last words, Arc?"

"Actually-" Jaune's words were cut as a blade stuck itself next to his head, looking up to see Qrow standing over him with narrowed eyes and a smirk on his face. He felt pieces of his hair fall as the sharp edge was just inches away from his head.

"Don't waste your last breath, kid" Qrow said, then he pressed the button on his weapon, the mechanism shifting it and slowly the blade opened into multiple panels, arching slightly. However, a white haze went by both Tai and Qrow, and before they knew it Jaune was no longer on the floor but thrown lazily across Yang's lap.

"Take care of your husband, Yang. I will take care of those two" Summer said as she deactivated her semblance, White Haze. Similar to Ruby's, hers also offered great speed, but she didn't leave roses behind. Instead she was a simple white haze people usually tend to miss. Yang looked down at Jaune, the boy slowly getting up and trying to sit up on his own, which he did since he doubted Yang was ok with him lying on her lap.

"Summer why?" Qrow asked, sighing. This was likely his semblance at work, being a nuisance again. Of all times, it had to be now? "We just want to make him pay for defiling the girls, nothing bad there. If anything, the whole situation here calls for some fatherly justice."

"Exactly!" Tai said as well, joining Qrow. "No one touches my girls and lives to tell the tale!"

"So you are ok with leaving eight women as widows?" Summer asked, to which they flinched a bit. However, Qrow's eyes slightly widened.

"Eight?! I only knew of Yang and Ruby!"

Tai caught on too. "H-How?!"

"God fucking damn it! It's always the fucking blondes - ALWAYS THE BLONDES THAT TAKE ALL THE FISK IN THE DAMN LAKE!" Qrow shouted aloud, however Tai felt that was directed to him as well to some degree. Granted, looking back to what happened with Summer AND Raven, he can understand Qrow this time. "Who else?! Names, Summer, give me names!"

"Actually, our whole Team, Jaune's Partner, and three others are married to him" Yang replied, a slightly irritated expression on her face. "Quite peculiar what a good drink can end up leading to"

"That's…" Qrow tried to say, but then he felt his own headache coming. "I need a drink."

"Same here...Wait, but that means our daughters are part of some-"

"Tai, you are not any better! You didn't exactly divorce Raven when we got married, remember?" Summer said, making Tai stop in his tracks. True, this was hypocritical coming from him out of all people, and he never truly divorced Raven...He just couldn't. "Now, Jaune, I guess you didn't come here to simply get your ass handed to you, so mind telling your fathers-in-law what you wanted to say?" This had both Qrow and Tai raise their eyes at him, Jaune shifting awkwardly on the bed while Yang and Ruby flanked him. Ruby traced her hand to his, taking it into her own to support him, an act which didn't go unnoticed by Jaune who looked at her and saw her smile. He returned it with his own, then he turned back to his new in-laws, taking a deep breath.

"So...I guess I should introduce myself first, right?" He said, getting only stares from the two. "Right...My name is Jaune Daedalus Arc, and, as you already know, I am Ruby and Yang's husband. Um. I am from Anima, from the village of Ansel, and I enjoy strategy games and I, Uhm, know how to cook?"

"Cut the crap, kid, how'd you come to marry our girls?" Qrow asked, his harsh voice intimidating the boy.

"Well, you see…" And so Jaune set himself to tell them the tale in case they haven't heard it yet, with the details being mostly from his point of view. Granted, Tai and Qrow asked about who Salem, Emerald, and Cinder were, which Jaune and Summer both explained. Finding out all about that had them all get headaches, even Jaune was feeling one. Qrow pulled out his flask, drinking from it and offering it to Tai, who also took a sip. Seeing Jaune all tense had the two males glance at each other and offer the flask to Jaune as well.

"Eight wives, three being ex-enemies who caused us a lot of trouble, ending the fucking war, AND having to deal with Yang?" The mentioned girl gave a 'Hey' at that statement. "We won't judge you, just take a swing."

"I really shouldn't…" He tried to deny sheepishly, but then he saw the look on Tai and Qrow. If he was to begin a positive relationship with them and not get himself killed, this was it. "Actually, if I think better, one swing is not going to get me drunk and end up getting myself married again, right?" He took the flask and smelled the alcohol within at first, feeling the strong smell of the mixture within. "What did he mix in here?" He thought before finally taking swing, then he began to cough as the liquid burned in the back of his neck, offering the flask back to Qrow.

"Heh. Virgin liver." Qrow teased, letting out a small chuckle. Anyway, while that story is nice and all, and it means I need to have a SERIOUS talk with Ozpin, I also have another question; you said you didn't know if you loved all of the girls yet, right? But that you were willing to try? How in the blazes are you planning to pull that one off?"

"Well, I was actually thinking about taking baby steps. You know, maybe with some dates?" Jaune replied, to which Qrow hummed. Then Tai interjected.

"Still, are you sure your relationship will last? Multiple women and having to love and treasure them all...I know they say a man's heart knows no boundaries when it comes to loving, but even this is stretching it. Not all of them might be happy with this relationship at the end of the day, and you might leave a soul broken and...I don't know. But, are you certain you can find love for ALL of them? Equal one? No one is being favored?" Tai asked, making Jaune think for a second. He was technically favoring Pyrrha currently with her sleeping with him most of the time nowadays, but that was not really something he could control since they were partners. But Tai was right; if he wanted this to work, then he needed to make sure he doesn't love anyone more than the other.

How is he going to pull that one off, only the Gods know. But he'd be damned if he didn't at least try. "I will try. As I said, baby steps. I will take it slow and easy. I promise you that I won't leave any of them heartbroken-"

"Especially our girls?" At this question Tai received a slap over his head by Summer, who looked at him with slight disappointment. Right, no favoritism. "I get it...Look, Jaune, I know the Arc's family reputation and their code for promises, so I will take your word for it."

"Same here. But if I hear you made Ruby cry even once then I am going to knock down doors, walls, buildings, and fucking mountains hunting you down, got it?" Qrow got a slap over the head as well as he threatened Jaune, who simply nodded quickly to reply to him. "Good." Qrow said rubbing the back of his head. "With that being said...Welcome to the family!" He shouted, throwing his arms around while Tai went to him and pulled him into a one-armed hug.

"Welcome to the Xiao Long/Rose/Brawnen family, Son!" He said, starting to ruffle Jaune's hair. He did notice he was not that muscular, but that was a matter for another time. Maybe he could help him with some training and exercise and some advice on how to build him a good musculature. On the side note, Tai always wanted a son.

"T-thanks - C-can you let me go now?!" He asked, breaking free of Tai's grip and landing back on the bed. "Thank you"

"I am so glad everything worked out in the end!" Summer chimed, then as she tried to walk she accidentally misstepped, resulting in her letting out a hiss of pain. Qrow was next to her at once, being a bit jumpy. "Just one of the old wounds. It's ok." However, a smile then came to her face. "However, Qrow…" She gestured to him to get his ear closer and began to whisper in it, causing the Huntsmen to widen his eyes and, for one, get sober. Looking at Summer, the woman giggled seeing his expression. "It has been 15 years, Qrow! What are you waiting for?"

"No need to tell me twice!" He shouted and picked up Summer, rushing out of the building and towards Ozpin to ask questions first, then head off somewhere more private. Everyone else simply looked at the door with confused expressions, then heard Tai laugh.

"Well, it looks like Qrow is getting some action tonight." He said, then he looked at Ruby with a warm smile. "Although you were never my daughter, I still want to think of you as such, Ruby. So do not be afraid to call me father, it's ok."

"Ok! Also…" She pointed at the door. "Are Mom and Dad going to do the birds and the bees?" Tai widened his eyes hearing the questions, then turned to Jaune and Yang.

"Who gave her the talk?"

"Summer…" Jaune answered, making Tai sigh. Of course she would, why wouldn't she? Well, granted, in this situation that talk would have had to be done at some point, so at least he is glad he was not the one to give it.

"Well, know this Ruby, chances are, and with Qrow's semblance, that you will become a big sister!" Tai said, but that didn't exactly lift the awkward air around, and if anything, made things worse.

Nerdy: this man ruined ruby's innocence ;-;

Dude, remember what you had her do, like, last chapter or so? I am having her mature since, well, the situation kinda calls for it.

Nerdy: fine fine fine. But you owe me 10 bucks.

Actually, I made a bet regarding some stuff. You OWE me 10 bucks.
