Undercover Operations
Chapter 55th
Gibbs needed to get himself ready for this since he waited a long time for time to happened. He sighed by helping his wife with her breathing exercises.
"Come on Loreile do this for me and the two boys?' he noted with the request.
"Jesus H. Christ I have been ready for this Jethro after being away for three months in that god-forsaken place?" she cries out with her response. "Why did this have to happen now?" she will ask with Doctor Silvers having to be coming up with the answer.
"Stress factor Loreile. Now I need for you to try your best with the contractions until you're ready to deliver the baby." she confirmed since it was going to be a while.
She will leave with a nurse to keep track of her vitals. While Gibbs and his wife decided to talk about any subject that will come up.
"Jethro, thank you for coming here in the first place?' she alluded with her question.
"You can thank Doctor Taft on that one or else I will be stuck in my hospital bed. But then again I will be heading back after you're able to have this baby. I am just sorry I wasn't around during the past three months and help you cope?" he snapped back with her emotional words.
"No thanks to me and with fooling around with the therapist Jethro. And once again I need to make the apology." she cried out with a strong contraction hitting her as Gibbs holds onto her hand.
"Maybe we should do something about it Loreile with taking another honeymoon while leaving the boys with the D.O.D. agent or even your sister?" he smirks.
"And wind up getting pregnant again?" Loreile cried out with taking in a deep breath.
"I had thought that you were going to have your tubes tied after this one Loreile?" Gibbs barked back with his hand hurting slightly from her squeezing it. "Jesus! That was a rough one no less?" while he raked his other hand into his silver fox head.
"It would be nice to have another honeymoon without having to worry about the enemy Jethro?" she exclaimed...
"I don't know about that one baby about my enemies even though I will be working as an instructor now for NCIS's ACAMDEY." he had made the comment with his voice in a low whisper.
"Please try for me, Jethro! I have been so miserable this past year with all that has happened to us?" she cries out as the pain was getting worst with the contractions.
"Why didn't you tell me that you weren't happy?" Gibbs looked down into his wife's features filled with the pain while grimacing.
"I have tried on a number of times Jethro to tell you that I wasn't happy with all of the blood and guts of your job as a special agent for NCIS. But now that things are changing for the better?" she noted...
With the shake of his head..."I just can't believe this of you, Loreile always had been the strong one in my eyes?" he inquired with a deep breath.
"Well, now you know Jethro I am not the strong one any longer. My guard had been dropped down and I have no idea how to come back to be strong again. I am sorry to have disappointed you once again with the truth?" she cried out with more of the contractions as she holds onto his hand to squeeze it.
"This is crazy Loreile. You need to stop thinking this way. Because I have gone through the same for years with being in that black void in regard to Kelly and Shannon. Even though now I know they are still alive having stayed in the Witness Protection Program."
"But Jethro, Shannon lied to you as to why she never bothered to contact you after they were released by the program those last ten years?" she will say to him with seeing the pain on his face.
"I know Loriele, Kelly was able to tell me the truth and why she was always fighting with Shannon for weeks before deciding on coming to see me while I was in the hospital." Gibbs needed to say the truth even though his wife was told a different story.
"I am truly sorry Jethro. It seems that the both of us have had our share of misery?" she responded with the contractions not bad this time in order to take a breather.
"How's the pain Loreile?" Leroy Jethro Gibbs will ask his wife feeling sorry for her with all of this suffering. "I guess this is going to be the last child we have with all this pain you're suffering with?" he face was saddened with his question.
"First of all, you know damn well this time the contraction wasn't as bad. As for having another child, I decided not to have my tubes tied with the chance we can still have more children at your age and mine. Even though we are going to be needing to be adding another extension onto the house."
"I am so proud of you, Loreile even though I did try to push the subject on you too much with wanting more children after losing Kelly and crying for years in the basement, and no doubt yourself with losing your daughter Elizabeth in that car crash?"
"I made my mind up months ago for when I had first arrived at the Tombstone, Arizona safe house. Don't get me wrong Jethro, I love Shane and Nathan a great deal?" she squeezed his hand again with looking at the clock on the wall. "I just can't believe this Jethro that we have been at this almost four-plus hours?"
"Believe me I know!" he said with slight sarcasm in his demeanor. He had let go of her hand to walk over to the table to drink some water and a wet cloth to wipe down his wife's brow. "Here you go with the cloth Loreile, this should help?" he said with a halfcock smile.
"Thank you, Jethro. I just wanted to let you know I do love you a great deal in spite of the problems we had the past year?" she felt another contraction coming on quicker now as the nurse called Doctor Silvers to come in with getting really close now with the delivery.
