"What did you say to me, Gibbs over the phone?" Director Lowry was livid with listening to him with his anger.
"Sir, I am not going on the operation due to reasons I can't give. I have already called Timothy McGee that I won't be going." Gibbs needed to say to him with Loreile not believing her ears after pushing the issue with him, and now he has made the decision.
"Do you realize that we can't get another agent at short notice to be going with McGee, Torres, Bishop, and Lt. James Brown?" Director Lowry preceded telling him at home after having dinner with his wife.
"I will be going to the Academy when I am ready with my doctor's approval from Taft. Like I told you a few days that I am not up to speed. Like when I was younger I didn't think twice about finishing up a case for NCIS when I was in pain. But now is another matter Director." he responded with the truth.
"Okay, good luck Gibbs. I will be calling SECNAV and the President of the United States about your decision." Lowry said defensive with his comment.
"I feel bad as well sir for having to have made the decision to not go along. No doubt Sonata Industries will find out nevertheless that I won't be there?" Gibbs pleaded with his own words.
"All I can say Gibbs is to be careful with your movements since there might be foreign agents to be coming after you once they find out what is going on?" he tells him with emotion.
"I will be careful sir, I will be ready whenever possible," he said with seeing the look on Loreile's face as she walked out to check on the three boys playing in the nursery as Madeline was watching them playing a little bit rough.
She looked up to see her face knowing that something was wrong. "What's going on Loreile?" she had gotten up from her chair.
"Jethro has decided to not go on the operation after I have pushed him too far with the subject." she alluded with wiping away her tears from under her eyes.
"That's too bad Loreile that it was bound to happen that he was feeling slightly guilty about going and leaving all of you alone," she commented with telling Shane to stop bothering his brother Nathan.
"I don't know about that one Madeline. But now my husband is going to have an attitude about it worried about his friends getting hurt in the process." she paused for the moment before seeing him coming in to say.
"I am going to be calling for the Chinese food after the talk with the director," Gibbs says like he was numb.

Nicholas Torres had a bite to eat with Eleanor Bishop at his apartment complex when he had received the text message from McGee giving him the worst of news.
"Is he serious backing out Nick?" Bishop cried out with eating a taco filled with chicken.
"Yeah, he was Eleanor. No doubt by too much pressure by Loreile to not go on the operation since getting out of the hospital." Nick advised with his comment watching him finish up the second taco with one more to go.
"Jesus, Nick, I would have never seen the day that Gibbs has become henpeck by his own wife after four marriages down the tube?" she inquired with grabbing another bottle of beer has to be the last with needing to be up early in the morning.
