Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

A flashback plays with the Tornado 2 parked in front of the Garage of the Thorndyke Mansion.

Inside the Garage, Sonic is introducing Chris to Tails, Cream and Cheese while Chuck was looking at the tiny paper airplane in his hand and Steven was keeping a distance while letting Sonic have his reunion with his friends. "My name's Tails, and I'm Sonic's very best buddy. Right, Sonic?" Tails asked, "Correct" Sonic says with his eyes closed. "My name is Cream, and this is my very special Chao friend Cheese. Thanks for helping us." Cream says before she and Cheese bow their heads. "It's very nice to meet all of you. I have a feeling we're all gonna become really good friends" Chris says. Steven smiled at the moment because he feels great that he managed to help Sonic find a couple of his friends, just like he promised he would. "There we go. Half of Sonic's friends rescued just like I wanted to. This is turning out to be a good start for me"Steven says in his head. "Hey, Steven. Come over here" Sonic says off screen, getting Steven's attention. Steven snaps back to reality and walks up to Sonic. "Yes, Sonic" Steven asked. "I want to introduce you to my friends here" Sonic says, "Oh, of course" Steven says as he faced Tails, Cream and Cheese. "Tails, Cream and Cheese, this is Steven. He's a Hedgehog that's been helping me look for you guys. And Steven, these are my friends, Tails, Cream and Cheese" Sonic says, "It's nice to meet you, Steven. My name's Miles "Tails" Prower. But you can just call me Tails" Tails says, offering Steven his hand to shake with. "It's nice to meet you too, Tails. It's great to meet the mechanical genius of Sonic's group of friends" Steven says as he and Tails shook hands. Tails then laughed a bit. "Yeah, I get that a lot. I'm glad to meet someone that's a friend of Sonic's. So a friend of Sonic's is a friend of mine" Tails says, "Thank you, Tails. I'm sure we'll become good friends" Steven says before he looks at Cream and Cheese. "Hello, Steven. My name is Cream and this is my Chao friend Cheese" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Thank you for helping Sonic and saving us" Cream says as she and Cheese bow again. "It's nice to meet you well, Cream and Cheese, and it was my pleasure. I'm sure we'll all be good friends now" Steven says as they shook hands. "Not only will Steven help me from time to time, but I'll also train him to be heroic as me as to repay him for helping me" Sonic says, "Train him? Like a teacher teaching a student, Sonic?" Tails asked, "That's right" Sonic says, "Oh that would be good for you, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps, "You really think so?" Steven asked, "Yeah, and if you want, I can teach you on what I know as well" Tails says, "Same here" Cream says and Cheese chirps again. "Oh you guys don't have to" Steven says, "Don't worry, it's fine with me" Tails says, "Me too" Cream says and Cheese chirps again. "Well look at that, Steven. You're about to learn alot from us" Sonic says, causing Steven to chuckle a bit. "I guess so" Steven says, "I think you all are gonna get along very well together. Oh, and this is my grandfather" Chris says as he points his hand to Chuck and Tails and Cream turn to face him. "Extraordinary. Tiny radio-controlled airplanes. Extraordinary." Chuck says as he continues looking at the airplane. "We've got lots of neat gadgets," Tails says while rubbing his nose. "But..." Chris says as he then realized something while Sonic had his eyes closed and arms behind his back. "Listen, Sonic This isn't some game we're playing, you know. You could've gotten us all thrown in jail, and not only that, Steven has cut on his shoulder now." Chris says, "Maybe I could've, but I didn't, did I? And I'm sure Steven will be fine. Right, Steven?" Sonic asked, "I think so, Sonic. It's alright, Chris. I'll be fine. I just have to take it easy for a bit" Steven says, "If you say so, Steven. Still though. Couldn't you try to be more careful, Sonic?" Chris asked, "Oh, huh" Sonic says as he just shrugs his shoulders while having his eyes closed. "This is an amazing piece of equipment. It goes beyond anything I've ever seen. How did you develop it?" Chuck asked, "It's nothing special. Not in the world we come from." Tails says as he shrugs his shoulders. "And where exactly is that world, Tails?" Chuck asked, "Beats me. But I think we got here through a warp in time and space."Tails says while rubbing his head. "Hmm, very interesting. Not very helpful, but interesting." Chuck says, "Geez..." Chris says and Sonic chuckles and rubs the inside of his ear and Steven chuckled nervously too. "I just thought of something. If you and me and Cream and Cheese are here, maybe the others got here, too" Tails says, "You might be right about that, if you are, that means, maybe…" Sonic says as he thinks.

Back to reality, Sonic, Tails, Cream and Cheese knew the answer. "Eggman's here too!" Sonic, Tails and Cream said at the same time says except for Chris, Chuck and Steven. "Dr. Eggman? Oh no..." Steven says in his head nervously as he wasn't sure what was gonna happen if Dr. Eggman really is in this New World now.

On a deserted island with a sunset sky and waves crashing, Dr. Eggman's Fortress was transported to an island. There were small camera robots scanning the area.

Inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, he, Decoe and Bocoe were looking out at the orange sea and sky. "So, we were transported into this world by Chaos Control. Very well then. I'll rebuild the foundation of the Eggman Empire here, and soon I'll rule the entire universe" Dr. Eggman says and he laughs maniacally. Looks like Dr. Eggman is ready for anything for what this New World has to offer to him for when he takes over.

Dr. Eggman's Ambition (Missile Wrist Rampage)

In the skies, the clouds were moving around. Once the clouds cleared, it revealed the island that Dr. Eggman's Fortress was.

Outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the waves were crashing around the island.

Inside the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman was examining Station Square from a small robot on the computer as he is ready to take over the world while Decoe and Bocoe stand behind him. Dr. Eggman then lets out a laugh. "Conquering this puny planet will be a picnic. As an appetizer, I'll finish off this city" Dr. Eggman says and Decoe gives him a tray of cards. "Which robot will you use, Doctor?" Decoe asked and Dr. Eggman takes the cards and checks them. "Hmm, let's see. They all look so lethal." Dr. Eggman says off screen as he looks at them, but can't decided. "Hmm... I can't choose." Dr. Eggman says. Then he decided to put the cards in a slot and pulls a lever. "Here?" Dr. Eggman says as his computer will decide like it's a slot machine. It stops on all 3 and shows a big robot named E-23 Missile Wrist. "Ah, Missile Wrist. Perfect." Dr. Eggman says off screen.

At Station Square, it was a beautiful day as 6 kids were playing basketball at a basketball court and laughing while there is was Man hole around the court.

Underground of Station Square, Knuckles and Amy were walking down the path. "This whole thing is Sonic's fault." Knuckles says, "All Sonic did was try and stop Eggman. He didn't mean for us to get sent here." Amy says, "Even if Dr. Eggman is the one to blame, Sonic shouldn't have pushed him so far." Knuckles says, causing Amy to stop walking. "He's not afraid to fight back" Amy says, causing Knuckles to stop walking and look at her. "Sonic just likes getting into fights for kicks" Knuckles says, "I'm not going any further if you talk trash about Sonic." Amy says while crossing her arms with her eyes closed. "I don't have time for this. See ya." Knuckles says as he walks away from Amy. "You're not gonna leave me alone down here, are you?" Amy asked, getting worried. "Do what you want. That's your business." Knuckles says while walking. "Oh, this is gonna be impossible. Hey, come on, Knuckles! Don't be mad! Wait up!" Amy says as she keeps up with Knuckles.

At the beach, people were either playing catch with a beachball, surfing, sunbathing, or chatting. Everyone was pretty much having a beach day. "Yes!" a girl in an orange bikini said as she hits the volleyball back to her friends. "Huh?" a lady says and gasps while reading a magazine underneath her umbrella that she notices something in the water. "Here!" a man says as hits the beach ball to the girl with the orange bikini, the girl misses. "Whoa!" The girl in the orange bikini says while the ball lands in the water. "That's okay, I've got it" the girl in the orange bikini says off screen and she goes in the water and gets the ball. "Aww, you hit it too hard..." the girl in the orange bikini says as she was about to grab the ball. But suddenly, she was splashed and people look up and see E-23 Missile Wrist standing on the water. "Ooh..." the girl in the orange bikini says until the ball hit her on the head and then screams. E-23 Missile Wrist fired its missile to the lifeguard tower and through a few cars, making them explode. Everyone was screaming and running away while E-23 Missile Wrist got out of the water and fired it's missile again at a few cars. Dr. Eggman then shows up in his Eggmobile. "There's nothing more fun than making waves at the beach. Well, now that we've established a beachhead here, let's set our sights on the city." Dr. Eggman says as he and E-23 Missile Wrist go into Station Square.

At the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, everyone was relaxing and enjoying their time. Tails was rinsing the Tornado 2 with a hose with Chuck watching, Cream, Cheese were eating donuts while Steven was eating grapes and Chris was looking for Sonic as Sonic left earlier today to explore. "I like to keep the Tornado nice and clean." Tails says, "Tails, I'd love to study this plane's mechanics someday." Chuck says. "Mmm!" Cheese says as he chews on a donut. "Do you like that?" Cream asked Cheese and Cheese nodded his head while still eating, "I'm glad, Cheese" Cream says, "It seems that you guys are adjusting very well here too" Steven says before eating a grape. "Yes, it's really nice here" Cream says, "Hey, Tails! Steven!" Chris says off screen, getting everyone's attention. "What's wrong?" Tails asked as Chris went up to Tails while Steven swallows a grape. "What is it, Chris?" Steven asked, "Where's Sonic?" Chris asked, "He left this morning. He was going somewhere to explore. Downtown, I think" Cream says, "Sonic told me he'll be back later, Chris" Steven says, "If the police spot Sonic, they'll try to catch him." Chris says, still remembers that the Police were still after Sonic and Steven. "Catch Sonic? I don't think so." Tails says, "I just hope he's careful" Chris says, "Hmm, that's not his style. Sonic likes danger." Tails says, causing Chris to panic. "We have to bring him back! Right away!" Chris says, making Steven sigh. "I guess this calls for a search party" Steven says, making him and Cream laugh nervously.

Back in Station Square, E-23 Missile Wrist rampages on the street by smashing on cars. "Hold it there! Take one more step and we'll open fire!" Officer Albright says through a microphone as he and the other cops were trying to stop E-23 Missile Wrist, but E-23 Missile didn't stop. "Fire!" Officer Albright says and the cops tried to shoot Missile Wrist down, but Missile Wrist didn't take damage as it has a strong armor and keeps walking while Dr. Eggman is flying above it. Dr. Eggman grumbles as he saw this. "There's a word for this...boring." Dr. Eggman says before a cop wearing heavy armor pulls out a blow torch and tries to burn E-23 Missile Wrist to crisp, causing E-23 Missile Wrist to stop walking. "That thing's toast" Officer Albright says until E-23 Missile Wrist puts out the fire and looking like as it didn't take any damage. Dr. Eggman then goes in between E-23 Missile Wrist and cops and laughs. "You cannot win. I can clobber you klutzes at will. Now rollover or get run over." Dr. Eggman says and the cops sweat drop. "Uh, we give up" Officer Albright says, "I can't stand quitters. give them what they deserve." Dr. Eggman says as he moves out of the way and E-23 Missile Wrist fires it's missile at the readers.

In the skies above Station Square, Tails was flying the Tornado 2 with Steven was in the back seat looking around Station Square to find Sonic. "This is like trying to find a hedgehog in a haystack." Tails says, "I wonder where he went?" Steven asked as Tails turns the Tornado 2 around and they go look somewhere else.

Below where the Tornado flew, at a Park, Chris and Chuck were also looking for Sonic on the ground. "Sonic! Hey, Sonic! Sonic! Are you out there, Sonic? Hey, Sonic!" Chris says as Sonic was nowhere in sight at the park. "I don't think your friend Sonic is here. Let's look somewhere else, Chris." Chuck says and Chris nods his head and gets back in the car and they drive away to look somewhere else. Above them was a Billboard titled Flash Che advertising tooth paste with a woman showing her shiny teeth and a mountain in the background.

With Sonic, he was looking at his surroundings as he was near a snowy mountain. Sonic chuckles while looking at the readers before jumping down and start running down and laugh as he jumps into a ravine.

Back underground, Knuckles and Amy were still walking but Amy was getting tired. "Knuckles, can't we take a break?" Amy asked, "You take one if you want, but I'm not stopping." Knuckles says and Amy grumbles before thinking of something. "A little casual conversation would lighten things up," Amy says in her head. "So, what do you think our chances are of getting back home, Knuckles?" Amy asked, "We'll get back, for sure" Knuckles says, "How can we?" Amy asked, "I don't know, but we will, somehow, we will..." Knuckles says before a flashback plays.

The flashback shows Knuckles guarding a giant emerald called the Master Emerald on a floating Island called Angel Island. "No matter what it takes, I have to get back. It's my mission to guard the Master Emerald. Nothing's gonna stop me from doing my job. You can count on it" Knuckles says off screen and the flashback ends.

Back to reality, Knuckles continues. "Until I do find a way back, I'm not going to rest or get sidetracked." Knuckles says until a rumble was heard from above. "Huh?" Knuckles asked and he looks up at a ladder along with the with Amy. There was heavy foot steps that were causing the vibration and Knuckles goes up to a ladder with Amy following to figure out what the vibrations are coming from. "What's that?" Knuckles asked while Amy whimpers.

Back outside, E-23 Missile Wrist continues Rampaging through Station Square with cars flipped and destroyed. Knuckles opens up a manhole and he and Amy look to see E-23 Missile Wrist, "Huh?" Amy asked in concern.

Inside a bank, a man was about to walk outside until he stopped and looks up to see E-23 Missile Wrist. The man screamed while E-23 Missile Wrist broke through the bank. This caused everyone in the bank to scream and run away in fear while E-23 Missile Wrist walks in. E-23 Missile Wrist stops and scans the area.

Back outside, Dr. Eggman lets out a laugh. "Go to the roof. We can do more damage from up there." Dr. Eggman says and his Egg Mobile hovers up.

Back inside the bank, E-23 Missile Wrist heard Dr. Eggman. "Acknowledged" E-23 Missile Wrist says as it fires it's missile upwards and breaks through the ceiling.

Back outside, Dr. Eggman goes to where the roof of the bank was before looking down to see a whole bunch of police cars park in front and laughs. "It appears we're attracting a crowd." Dr. Eggman says and looks to see E-23 Missile Wrist's missile breaks through the roof and transforms it's missile into a grapple.

Back inside the bank, E-23 Missile Wrist was about to elevate up. "Proceeding to upper structural surface." E-23 Missile Wrist says and goes up while breaking through the celing again.

Back outside, this caused a few explosions from the building and E-23 Missile Wrist lands on the roof, leaving the cops in shock. "Ah!" the Chief says in shock as he looked up. There was smoke everywhere and Dr. Eggman flies down a bit. "Let's get this show on the air" Dr. Eggman says before pressing a button to reveal a camera and reveal his face while broadcasting live towards the cops. "Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Eggman" Dr. Eggman says from the TV.

At a diner, everyone was also watching the broadcast. "And I have some exciting news for you. Exciting for me, that is, and catastrophic for you" Dr. Eggman says from the TV.

On the streets, a mother, father and their son also saw this from a window of TV's. "I have decided to take over your world and make it part of the new Eggman Empire. Resistance is futile. You'll submit to my rule or be swept away like dust bunnies."Dr. Eggman says and laughs.

Back at the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Chris, Chuck, Steven, Tails, Cream and Cheese saw the broadcast from a TV in Chuck's room in the Garage. "So Eggman is here" Tails says, "What are we gonna do now?" Steven asked.

Back in Station Square, the Chief was talking to Dr. Eggman from the microphone. "Turn yourself in now, bub, or we'll haul you in." The Chief says, "You must be joking" Dr. Eggman says, "We're not playing around here, buddy. Pull over and let's see your license and registration." The Chief says and Dr. Eggman grumbles. "I am the one giving the orders here!" Dr. Eggman says, "Ugh. Oh, yeah? What makes you think so?" The Chief asked as he lifts his hat up a bit. "This makes me think so." Dr. Eggman says and snaps his fingers, this caused E-23 Missile Wrist to fire a missile at the police. The police screamed before an explosion happened. E-23 Missile Wrist then brings his Missile back. "Now will you surrender your city?" Dr. Eggman asked.,"Uh, sorry, Doc, that's not my call. We need to run it by the mayor." The cop says as he is in shock from the blast with dirt all over. "Then go and bring him to me!" Dr. Eggman says as his glasses glow.

Back at the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Tails was inside the Tornado 2 preparing for take off with Steven, Cream, Cheese and Chuck watching him while waiting for Chris. "Come on, Chris. Let's go!" Tails says, "Ready, Tails" Chris says before putting on his football helmet and climbing in the Tornado 2. "Good luck up there, and be careful" Chuck says, "We'll be okay" Tails says while giving a thumbs up. "We'll find Sonic and stop Dr. Eggman. Don't you worry" Chris says, "Goodbye, Guys." Cream says, "Come back safely" Steven says until Tails realized something. "Steven, you're not gonna come with us?" Tails asked, "Sorry. I wish I could, but I'm not ready to face Dr. Eggman yet" Steven says, "What do you mean?" Chris asked, "If I get caught or get stuck in a situation that I can't get out of or don't know, then I'm definitely screwed" Steven says, "Oh no. What do we do then?" Cream asked off screen while Tails thinks. "Steven will have to stay here with us, Cream" Chuck says off screen. After a few seconds, Tails gets an idea. "He won't have to" Tails says, getting everyone's attention. "I think I have just the tools to solve that problem" Tails says as he jumps out and opens a door in his Tornado 2. Tails looks through a few things and takes out a tool and a weapon that would be perfect for Steven to use. "Here, Steven" Tails says as he goes up to Steven. "What are those?" Steven asked as he looked at what Tails was holding. "This is a wrist-mounted grapple gun and this is a blaster weapon. Here, let me put the grapple gun on for you" Tails says as he puts the the grapple gun on Steven's left wrist. "I thought about it and I think these tools can be a perfect start for you to becoming a hero" Tails says, "Oh. Really?" Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. Let me show you how these work. You see, if you put enough force into your left wrist of the grapple gun and aim at where you want to go, it will trigger a grappled wire and to shoot and fire straight where you want to go. When you fire it, the grapple will hook onto a surface and it will pull you to that surface" Tails says while Steven looks at the grapple gun on his wrist. "Here, try aiming at that tree. Remember, put enough force on your wrist to trigger it" Tails says, "Oh. Okay..." Steven says before he looks at the palm trees and tries it out. Steven aimed at one of the palm trees and put enough force onto his wrist and then a wire shot out and a grappled grabbed on to the tree. "Whoa!" Steven says as he was being pulled to the tree really fast. After he got to the tree, he wire retracted back into the gun. "Woah. This tool is something else" Steven says, "There we go. Just like that" Tails says, "Okay, then. Hmm" Steven says as he decided to try going up on the roof of the garage. Steven ran close to the garage and aimed at the roof. The wire shot out to the roof and Steven was pulled to the roof. Chris, Chuck, Tails, Cream and Cheese were surprised on how fast Steven learned how to use it. "I think Steven's gotten the hang of it now" Chris says, "That is some fine piece of equipment, Tails" Chuck says, "Thanks. I think Steven will do just fine now" Tails says, "Now he can go on adventures without any problems" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Wow. I love this tool already" Steven says before jumping down. "So, you think you'll do fine out there?" Tails asked, "Yeah, I think so" Steven says, "Oh! I should also tell you that the grapple gun can also be used as a Wire Attack and a hook to swing on. The Wire attack is when you fire the gapple at a target and land a momentum-fueled strike at it. And alternatively, the wire can also hook onto inanimate targets, so you can swing around with the aide of their grappling hook's wire, and if you think it's a bit complicated for battle, then you can use the blaster" Tails says and Steven holds the blaster in his right hand and looked like he was ready for anything. "Ok, that's good to know. Thank you, Tails. This is gonna help me so much" Steven says, "Your welcome, Steven" Tails says, "Alright. I'll get a headstart over there. Be careful, guys" Steven says, "Good luck, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps, "Be careful" Chris says, "Make sure nobody sees you and control that grapple gun properly or else you'll get in a mess you can't get out of" Chuck says, "Okay. I'll be careful" Steven says, "We'll meet you over there" Tails says before going back inside the Tornado plane. "Good luck, everyone!" Steven says before getting a headstart and running off. "Okay, Chris, hang out" Tails says and the Tornado 2 leaves and makes its way to the Station Square.

Back in Station Square, Dr. Eggman had an annoyed look on his face while still having his face on the TV screen. "Who are you?" Dr. Eggman asked. On the ground, the Mayor of Station Square was looking at Dr. Eggman while holding the microphone. "I am the mayor of this city, and I won't be blackmailed into negotiating with the likes of you." the Mayor of Station Square says, "Really?" Dr. Eggman asked and chuckles before snapping his fingers again This caused E-23 Missile Wrist to fire its missile at a building and cause a vibration with smoke flying around. This startled the cops and the Mayor of Station Square. Smoke then spreads all over the area. "Mayor, now are you ready to negotiate with me" Dr. Eggman asked and the Mayor of Station Square coughs a bit. "Uh, technically, sir, our charter doesn't allow me to surrender the city" The mayor says from the microphone as he, the Chief and the cops were covered in dirt. Dr. Eggman gets annoyed again. "Missile Wrist, destroy this place before I-" Dr. Eggman says before he was cut off. "Eggman!" Tails says off screen, getting Dr. Eggman's attention. "Aah!" Dr. Eggman says as he saw that the Tornado 2 was heading straight to Dr. Eggman wit Tails looking determined. "Aah!" Dr. Eggman says again before lowering his head from the Tornado 2. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked as he saw the Tornado 2. "It's Tails. I'll teach that flying furball" Dr. Eggman says while the Tornado 2 flies upwards.

Back with E-23 Missile Wrist, it was about to get an order. "Attention, Missile Wrist. Take aim at the plane. Blast it out of the sky!" Dr. Eggman says off screen. "Acknowledge" E-23 Missile Wrist says and turns around towards the Tornado 2. E-23 Missile Wrist fires it's missiles at them, but Tails avoided them. It continues firing its missiles as the Tornado 2 keeps dodging. "Those came pretty close!" Chris says as he grabs onto Tails's seat with his eyes closed. "Two can play at that game! Hang on!" Tails says as he charges the Tornado 2 to E-23 Missile Wrist while E-23 Missile Wrist continues firing it's missiles. Tails dodges them before shooting E-23 Missile Wrist, but it didn't take damage. "It's no use. It's armor is too thick" Tails says as he turned his head back and Chris noticed something. "Hey, Tails, Look out!" Chris says and he and Tails see a missile coming their way. Tails screams off screen before he pulled the control stick and dodge it, but the missile takes the Tornado 2's propeller out. "This is what I call an emergency" Tails says as the plane goes down. Tails then presses a couple of buttons and pulls a lever. It turns the Tornado 2 to Jet mode. "We're in the jet set" Tails says, "Oh!" Chris and Tails says before dodging the missiles. The Tornado 2 Jet continue to dodge the missiles.

On the ground, people were watching the action along with Knuckles and Amy. "Tails is in trouble. We've gotta find a way to help him." Amy says, "I've got more important things to do." Knuckles says, "Fine! Who needs you?" Amy asked as she makes her way inside the building. "Don't go in there!" Knuckles says as Amy didn't hear Knuckles and contonued making her way inside the building. "She's only gonna get herself hurt." Knuckles says before he follows Amy inside.

Inside the building, Amy was waiting for the elevator before it opens and goes in. "Amy!" Knuckles says off screen. "Huh?" Amy asked and sees Knuckles catching up to her. "Amy!" Knuckles says again while Amy humphs and closes her eyes and crosses her arms and looks away from Knuckles before the elevator closes. "Stop!" Knuckles says and growls as he was too late. "Great! Back with Sonic, he was running through an open field.

On the bridge, Sonic ran on the bridge while passing by driving vehicles.

Back in Station Square, Sonic made his way back and kept running, but he then spotted something and runs back to check it out. "What's going on up there?" a man asked off screen. "That's a robot on the roof. This could be an interplanetary invasion!" a woman says from a crowd that was watching something and the people continued chatting. Sonic landed on a tree branch and watched the TV's. Sonic saw Dr. Eggman laughing. "Eggman! So that clown got sent here, too" Sonic says and the TV switches to the action with E-23 Missile Wrist and the Tornado Jet with Chris and Tails in it. "Time for me to join the party!" Sonic says before jumping off the tree and make his way to the action.

With Steven, he was pulling off a lot of wire swings around the park of Station Square and laughing as he was doing this. "Whoo hoo! Now I really feel so alive!" Steven says as he continues aiming his grapple gun to other objects to swing off from. "This is awesome. I really feel like I'm flying right now. This is the best tool Tails has given me. I never would have imagine that all my life I would be doing this type of stuff" Steven says as he continues to laugh until he saw the battle that was happening in Station Square. "Uh oh. It looks like Tails and Chris are in trouble. I've got to get over there fast" Steven says and continues making his way to the city.

Back at the battle, Tails and Chris were still avoiding the missiles from E-23 Missile Wrist. From behind E-23 Missile Wrist, Knuckles made it to the roof and got ready for anything. "All right. I need a strategy" Knuckles says before the elevator opens to reveal Amy. "What took you so long?" Knuckles asked until Amy brings her hammer called the Piko-Piko hammer close to his face as he thought he was gonna get hit. "Oh!" Knuckles says before Amy gets ready. "Hi-yah! " Amy says, before running towards Missile Wrist. "Leave Tails alone, you tin bully!" Amy says, "Don't do it, Amy!" Knuckles says, but Amy doesn't hear him and she swings her Piko-Piko hammer to E-23 Missile Wrist's leg. Missile Wrist felt a tap on it's leg and turned around and looked at Amy while she groans in pain while shaking her hand. "Oww..." Amy says, but suddenly, she was grabbed by E-23 Missile Wrist and screams as E-23 Missile Wrist lifts her. Amy was shaking in fear now. Knuckles then charges at E-23 Missile Wrist. "Argh! Hang on, Amy" Knuckles says as we was about to attack E-23 Missile Wrist, but Dr. Eggman flies in front of him and holds his hand out. "Hold it, knucklehead" Dr. Eggman says, causing Knuckles to stop. "One more step, and the girl's a goner" Dr. Eggman says before he snaps his fingers, causing Missile Wrist to crush Amy. "No! Knuckles!" Amy says and Knuckles hesitates and tries to figure out what to do next.

Back with Sonic, he was running on the highway. "I better pick up the pace if I want to be part of the action!" Sonic says as he continues to make his way to the city.

Back at the battle, Knuckles still didn't know what to do. "Leave Amy alone or you'll be sorry." Knuckles says, "Sorry? I'm already sorry that you and your friends survived. My consolation is that it seems Sonic didn't." Dr. Eggman says and he looks around just be sure. "Huh? Uh? Or did he? Perhaps this is all a trap." Dr. Eggman says as he, E-23 Missile Wrist, Knuckles and Amy didn't noticed Steven landing on the section above the elevator. Steven crouched a bit as he didn't want to be seen. "There's Dr. Eggman. That also must be his robot. And there's Amy and Knuckles. They must have got sent here too" Steven says before he noticed the Tornado 2 Jet still flying around. "There's Tails and , let's see here. Tails said this grapple is also used as a wire attack, right? Maybe I can try to shoot the robot's head while I'm about to use the wire attack. It'll be like a double attack. Hopefully it'll tip the robot down a bit. Well let's give this a try" Steven says as he aims the grapple at Missile Wrist while Dr. Eggman, E-23 Missile Wrist Knuckles, Amy, Tails and Chris were distracted. "Here it goes..." Steven says, nervously. Steven then fires the grapple on Missile Wrist's head, which got Knuckles, Amy and Dr. Eggman's attention. "Huh?" Knuckles asked, "What was that?" Dr. Eggman asked. As the wire was pulling Steven. Steven started firing his weapon at E-23 Missile Wrist's head and position his feet to Missile Wrist's head and closed his eyes as he was about to try and damage Missile Wrist. Once Steven made contact with the kick on E-23 Missile Wrist, it didn't leave no damage to E-23 Missile Wrist as there was only a bang sound. Steven opened his eyes and saw that he didn't make any progress. "What...?" Steven asked himself in shock as he trembled and for Dr. Eggman to laugh. "You call that an attack? What a laugh riot. Missile Wrist, show this trembling child how a real attack is performed" Dr. Eggman says, "Acknowledged" E-23 Missile Wrist says and raises it's other arm and extend its missile. Steven was too shock to move that E-23 Missile Wrist punched Steven off it's head. Knuckles, Amy, Tails and Chris gasped when they saw this while Steven grunts in pain and crashes into the wall where the elevator is with a heavy crash and smoke flying around. Steven was then unconisuon and fell on the ground while dropped his blaster weapon.

Back with Tails and Chris, they saw this. "Oh no, Steven!" Chris says, "Is he okay?" Tails asked.

Back with Steven, the smoke clears up to show Steven unconscious. "I think he's knocked out" Chris says off screen. "Not good" Tails says off screen. Knuckles looked at the unconscious Steven. "Where did he come from?" Knuckles asked, "Now that that's taken care of, where were we? Oh yeah. That's right" Dr. Eggman says before snapping his fingers again, causing Missile Wrist to crush Amy. Amy screams again and Knuckles grunted as he still didn't know what to do.

Back with Tails and Chris, they were getting worried. "What if Sonic doesn't make it?" Tails asked until Chris looks down and sees a blue blur speeding on the streets. "It's okay. Help is on the way." Chris says and he and Tails smile.

Back at the battle, Dr. Eggman turns around. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Back with Sonic, he was getting close to the building.

Back with Chris and Tails, the Tornado 2 Jet flies towards Sonic. "Get him, Sonic! Ha ha!" Chris says.

Back with Sonic, he ran past a man and a lady as the lady pulls her skirt down, causing her to scream and making Sonic chuckle. The Tornado 2 Jet gets closed to Sonic and Chris holds up a power ring and tosses it to Sonic and Sonic catches it. "Thanks" Sonic says and chuckles as the ring glows in his hand.

Back with Dr. Eggman, he saw Sonic. "There he is. Get ready to fire" Dr. Eggman says and E-23 Missile Wrist throws Amy away. Amy screams, but Knuckles gets the chance to catch her.

Back with Sonic, he laughs again as the power ring continues to glow. "All right!" Sonic says in his head before turning into a powerful spin-ball. Sonic then makes his way up the building. "Hurry. Fire!" Dr. Eggman says and E-23 Missile Wrist fires missiles from its chest. A couple missiles missed Sonic, but the last missile hits him with a huge explosion. "Finally!" Dr. Eggman says, But suddenly, Sonic came out of the smoke while still spinning and went to the sky. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked in shock and saw Sonic in the sky. "Fire away!" Dr. Eggman says and E-23 Missile Wrist launches its missiles at Sonic, but Sonic lands on one of them. E-23 Missile Wrist kept launching its missiles back and forth while Sonic performed a few moves. "Ha-ha! Come on, come on!" Sonic says as he laughs. "Wise guy! I'll show you!" Dr. Eggman says and Sonic continues to perform a few moves. "Sonic, try the slap-on-the-wrist!" Knuckles says, "Yeah" Sonic says and he stays on a missile arm with E-23 Missile Wrist retracting its missile and looks at Sonic. Sonic pulls his eye lid while sticking his tongue out. "Mm-mm!" Sonic says before E-23 Missile Wrist lifts its arm and is about to hit Sonic, but Sonic jumps out the way, causing Missile Wrist to lose an arm missile. "Bye" Sonic says as he go up in the air again. "Fire!" Dr. Eggman says and E-23 Missile Wrist fires more missiles from its chest. As they hit where Sonic was, they all exploded. "Ha, ha!" Dr. Eggman says, thinking he won, but then Sonic power spins down and laughs again. "Time to take you out!" Sonic says in his head while breaking through E-23 Missile Wrist's head. E-23 Missile Wrist shoots out electricity with Dr. Eggman looking scared before blowing up with a huge explosion. Knuckles protects Amy from the debris flying around with a smile on his face.

Back with Tails and Chris, they saw the whole thing. "All right, Sonic!" Chris says.

Back on the building, the smoke clears to see Dr. Eggman covered in dirt and coughs and groans while Sonic takes a step up to him. "You lose" Sonic says, "Hmm, t-this isn't over... blue boy..." Dr. Eggman says before going up in the air. "You haven't heard the last of Eggman. Soon I will rule this world, this universe, and the Chaos Emeralds will be mine!" Dr. Eggman says and laughs before disappearing in the sky with a twinkle in the end. Sonic smiled as he saw Dr. Eggman leave. "Oh, Sonic! Sonic!" Amy says and Sonic turns around and Amy hugs Sonic tightly with Sonic struggling to breath. "You're okay!" Amy says with tears in her eyes, "Ugh, t-take it easy-!" Sonic says, "For a while there, Sonic, I thought I'd never see you again!" Amy says, "Amy- please, let me go..." Sonic says while Knuckles watches them. "Hmm" Knuckles says until Sonic notices Steven unconscious on the ground. "Huh? Steven!" Sonic says before he gets loose of Amy and goes up to Steven and checks him. "What happened to him?" Sonic asked Amy and Knuckles. "He tried to stop that robot, but failed" Knuckles says, "That robot attacked him afterwards" Amy says and Sonic turns his attention back to Steven. "Steven. Wake up, buddy. Come on" Sonic says as he shakes Steven. Steven moans a bit before opening his eyes a bit. "Sonic...?" Steven asked, "Are you alright?" Sonic asked as he offers his hand to help Steven up. "I think so..." Steven says as he slowly gets up and struggles to pick up his blaster weapon. Then suddenly, footsteps were heard and Sonic, Steven, Amy and Knuckles turn around. "Huh?" Knuckles, Steven, Sonic and Amy asked as they see five special cops from the SWAT team pointing their guns at them. "All right, nobody move!" SWAT team member 1 says, causing Sonic and Knuckles glare at them while Amy and Steven look worry. Steven drops his weapon and puts his hands up in the air. "Oh, great. Now What?" Knuckles asked, "Don't try running away!" SWAT team member 1 says, making Knuckles growl at them with a purple aura around his body. "Knuckles never runs from a fight." Knuckles says, making the SWAT team member 1 sweat drop a bit and for Steven to back away a bit. "H-Hey, easy, pal" SWAT team member 1 says and Knuckles continues to growl. "Sonic!" Tails says off screen, getting Sonic, Steven and Amy's. "Huh? Oh" Sonic, Steven and Amy said as they see the Tornado 2 Jet with a roped ladder coming their way. Sonic grabs Amy and grabs the ladder. Steven picks up his weapon and grabs on to the latter while Knuckles continues to growl at the SWAT team. "Hey, Knuckles, come on!' Sonic says while Knuckles continues to growl. "Please, Knuckles, let's go!" Amy says, causing Knuckles to stop growling and grin before running to the latter. "Let's get 'em!" SWAT team member 1 says and he and the other SWAT team members fired their guns while Knuckles avoided the shots. Knuckles then runs up to the edge of the building. Knuckles does a big leap and grabs on to the ladder. The Tornado 2 Jet then makes it's way up in the skies.

In the skies, the sky was slight blue and orange while the Tornado 2 Jet continued flying. "We'll go back to my house, guys!" Chris says, "Cream and Cheese are already there waiting for us!" Tails says, "Wow, them too!? So we're all here together!" Amy says, "Count me out! This is where I get off!" Knuckles says as he lets go of the ladder and flies way from the Tornado Jet. "No, don't go!" Amy says, "See you around!" Knuckles says before he turns around and glides down to a forest and disappears. "He's not coming with us...? Why not...?" Amy asked, "That's Knuckles. He does things his way" Sonic says looking down to where Knuckles landed. Sonic then notices how quiet Steven was and also had a sad look on his face. "Hey, Steven. What's wrong?" Sonic asked, "I thought I could have made a little damage to that robot, Sonic, but my thoughts were too good that I just took the defeat the hard way. I'm pathetic to think these big thoughts" Steven says, "Steven, don't say stuff like that. You're not pathetic. This was your first time trying to stop Eggman, it's not your fault. Not everything is gonna play out the way others think the first time" Sonic says, "But still. I couldn't even make the robot fall on the ground" Steven says, "But you tried. That's all that matters" Sonic says and Steven continued to look down. Amy saw Steven and felt bad for him. "Umm... Steven, was it? Listen, don't feel so down on yourself. Sonic's right. You did your best and that's great. Who cares if you failed? What matters the most is that you tried. You know what? If we encounter Dr. Eggman again, you could possible win next time, and on't be scared. That could be your moment to shine one day" Amy says and Sonic and Steven look at her with surprised looks. "You think so?" Steven asked, "No. I know" Amy says as she winks, this made Sonic smile as well. "She's right, Steven. You still have a chance on being a hero. Just keep going and don't let your fear of doubts own you" Sonic says. Steven thinks about it for a few seconds before smiling. "You're right. I might just give it another go next time. Thank you, guys" Steven says, "You're welcome, Steven. and for introductions, my name is Amy Rose" Amy says, "I'm Steven the Hedgehog. Nice to meet you Amy" Steven says, "You too, Steven" Amy says, "Oh! I never got to talk to your friend Knuckles" Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven. You two we'll get to meet when the time comes. You can count on it" Sonic says, "Thanks, Sonic" Steven says while Sonic gives a wink. The Tornado 2 flew straight into the sunset while heading back to Thorndyke Mansion and ending this long day. Knowing that this was just the beginning of the war with Dr. Eggman and for Steven to get another chance of being a hero like his idols, it looks like Steven's adventures in this New World is about to be interesting and challenging.

Fu-tu-re (ミ・ラ・イ, Mi-ra-i)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! After the incident with Sonic and Dr. Eggman, the President was now aware of our existence and Dr. Eggman's power as a threat. After that, Mr. Stewart who was an agent was gonna take over as Chris' new substitute teacher. While all this was happening, I was beginning my training to become the next hero thanks to Sonic. It's a little intense, but I know this will help out a lot. Suddenly, there was a report of a mysterious gem stone that was discovered at a construction site. It revealed that it was the Green Chaos Emerald. I wanted to join, but Sonic insisted I stay behind while he, Tails and Amy search for it. From what they didn't know was Dr. Eggman and his new E-Series robot were also after the Green Chaos Emerald. After what felt like a long time, I decided to go after the Chaos Emerald too, but things got more difficult as Chris was after the Green Chaos Emerald as well! Everyone was after the Chaos Emerald, but only one can obtain it. The real question is "Who"?Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Get the Chaos Emerald!" ("Chaos Emerald Chaos"). The search begins!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
