At the Thorndyke Mansion, it was another beautiful day. "So this Chaos Control created a warp in timeand space" Chris says off screen.
Inside Chuck's room of the garage at the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic, Steven, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Chris and Chuck were talking about how that Chaos Control sent the Mobian Animals and Dr. Eggman to Earth. "And that's how you guys ended up here. Hmm, I think I understand that much. But I still don't understand these Chaos Emeralds you guys are talking about." Chris says while standing up while Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese sat on bean bags, Sonic sitting on the window sale, Steven sitting on the bed and Chuck sitting on his chair typing on his computer. "You've never heard of the Chaos Emeralds? Boy, you really do have a lot to learn, don't you?" Tails asked, "Each Chaos Emerald is filled with a magical power. So you can imagine what would happen if you found all seven of them." Amy says, "You would have all the power you ever wanted, right?" Steven asked, "Exactly, Steven" Amy says, "But no one has ever found all seven Emeralds, and now, it's highly improbable that anyone ever will find them." Chuck says, "Why is that?" Cream asked, "Well, you see, Cream, every one of the precious Chaos Emeralds has disappeared." Chuck says before closing his eyes. "If that's true, then we'll never be able to go back home"Steven says in his head, worryingly. "That doesn't mean they're gone for good." Sonic says off screen. "Huh?" Tails and Chris asked and they, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Steven look at Sonic while Chuck opens his eyes a bit. "Any time the seven Chaos Emeralds come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again." Sonic says, "Then that means they're all still out there someplace" Chris says, "That's right," Sonic says, giving a thumbs up. "Well that's good to know" Steven says, sighing in relief. "Only we don't have any way of knowing where. If they're on this planet, that's good, but if they're still on the planet we came from, we may never get home." Tails says while Chuck yawns and closes his eyes again. "Listen, if the Emeralds are somewhere on this planet, and if we can find some way to locate them all, maybe we'll be able to reverse that time warp. You guys will back on your home planet before you know it. Right, Sonic?" Chris asked, "Yeah, no worries, and Steven, tomorrow you're training with me begins. So get plenty of rest, okay?" Sonic asked, "Sure, no problem" Steven says with confidence.
Get the Chaos Emerald! (Chaos Emerald Chaos)
At a construction site in Station Square, a construction worker was operating a bulldozer while digging dirt into a truck, but as he digs, a green gem is dug out and fell back on the ground before shining. The green colored gem is the Green Chaos Emerald.
In the skies at night, a plane was flying across the ocean. "Mr. President. Our colleagues have found a place" a man's voice says off screen.
Inside the plane, there was a man sitting in a desk who is known as the President. The President is talking to another man who is the Director of Central Intelligence while another man named Jerome Wise listens while standing next to the President's desk. "And… Where are they?" the President asked, "It seems the hedgehog and his friends are staying with a family in Station Square. And our agents have traced Eggman to an island somewhere in the Southern Sea." the Director of Central Intelligence says, "Well, get going! I want them captured!" the President says as he points his finger at the the Director of Central Intelligence. "With all due respect, it might be best to keep them under surveillance so we can observe their behavior." the Director of Central Intelligence says and the President grumbles. "That's all well and good, but you had better pay special attention to that dangerous Eggman character." The President says, "We've already sent out a reconnaissance team, Mr. President. We'll be sure to report back any suspicious activities." the Director of Central Intelligence says as he smiled.
At Dr. Eggman's Fortress, A stealth agent arrived to Dr. Eggman's Fortress by a boat and got out. He then waved at his light a flashing green light that's further away.
Back in the skies, the plane continued flying.
Back on the plane, the President was about to ask a question about the Mobian Animals. "Any word on the animals?" the President asked, "We have our operatives watching them too, sir, and we're dispatching an undercover agent to get information on the boy. If there's any unusual activity, we'll know about it." the Director of Central Intelligence says.
The next morning, the children were walking inside the Elementary School that Chris attends.
Inside a classroom, Chris was reading a book at his elementary school. Chris is sitting with his best friends Daniel aka Danny and Frances while they were waiting for their teacher to show up. "Hey, kid, 50 cents for your sandwich" A boy says off screen. "I bet you that little hedgehog thing is so fast, they're never gonna get him" Danny says. "I bet you're right. Chris, you think they'll ever catch that hedgehog?" Frances asked, getting Chris' attention. "Huh? Uh... I don't know..." Chris says, "Children, may I have your attention?" a man's voice asked off screen, getting the children's attention. two foot steps walk in the classroom as the first person was the Principal and the other man is Mr. Stewart. "I'd like to make a brief announcement to you all. Your teacher, Miss Westerly... Will be taking a leave of absence... Therefore, she will not be with you for the remainder of the semester." the Principle says, causing the children to look surprised. "Huh? Wow!" a boy says off screen. "Please say hello to Mr. Stewart, who will be your substitute." The Principle says, "Hello, children!" Mr. Stewart says, "Hello, Mr. Stewart!" The children said at the same time while Mr. Stewart looks at Chris. "Hmm" Mr. Stewart says in interest. "He looks nice, doesn't he, Chris?" Frances asked while Mr. Stewart's glasses shine.
In the yard the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic and Steven were outside as today was Steven's first day of training with Sonic. "Alright, today we're gonna begin studying combat together. Okay, Rookie?" Sonic asked, "Rookie?" Steven asked, "That's right. Starting from now, you'll be known as Rookie in the beginning of your training session" Sonic says, "Oh, okay" Steven says, "Before we begin, there's something very important you should know, Rookie" Sonic says, "What is it?" Steven asked, "Anyone who's already a hero does not learn combat to pick fights or to impress anyone. Do you understand what I'm saying?" Sonic asked, "Yes" Steven says, "Good. We have to master peace in addition to war, Rookie. We need to achieve victory by the odds of war. Victory is won through strategy. Strategy is derived from peace" Sonic says, "Oh. Okay then..." Steven says, "However, if somebody evil threatens you or any other good innocent people without a "Heroic" reason, then it's your job to defend those people no matter what. Do you understand?" Sonic asked as Steven was getting a little dizzy with all the information Sonic was telling him. "Uh sorry, but could you repeat that again, Sonic?" Steven asked, "Sure, no problem. What I mean is that we learn how to fight so we won't have to. We have to face the challenges that come to keep peace in the world. Even in another world. It's all comes from a rhythm" Sonic says, "Okay, I get it now, but what's the rhythm " Steven asked, "You'll have to figure that out on your own. So are you ready?" Sonic asked, "Yeah" Steven says, "Cool! Then we'll warm up with a run around this place. Follow me, Rookie" Sonic says as he runs off. "Alright, here I go" Steven says and runs and tries to keep up with Sonic. Steven eventually kept up with Sonic."So far so good. But I know it's gonna get tricky when the real training begins"Steven says in his head as he continued running along with Sonic.
Back outside of the Elementary School, the school bell rang.
Inside the Elementary School, the children were walking out of class and were heading to lunch. "Let's go" a child says, "Come on, hurry up" another child says off screen while Chris was waiting for Danny. "Danny, come on! Hurry up!" Chris says, "Okay, I'll be there in a minute!" Danny says, causing Chris to sigh. "Christopher Thorndyke?" Mr. Stewart asked while walking up to Chris from behind and Chris turns his head to Mr. Stewart. "The principal told me your name, and, well, I was wondering if you were the same Christopher Thorndyke whose father is the CEO of the Starship Software company, Nelson Thorndyke, and whose mother is the famous film actress, Lindsey Fair." Mr. Stewart says, "Yeah... that's me..." Chris says, "Well, I must say, Christopher... It's a privilege to meet the son of such distinguished parents!" Mr. Stewart says, "Thanks... That's very nice of you to say..." Chris says, "Good meeting you, Christopher." Mr. Stewart says as he offers a handshake. "Good to meet you too." Chris says as they both shook hands, "By the way, this might sound strange, but do you have a favorite animal?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Uh, well...um...hedgehogs, I guess." Chris says, "Ah." Mr. Stewart says in interest. "Is that weird?" Chris asked, "No, not at all!" Mr. Stewart says and Chris smiles. "Hey, Chris!?" Danny asked off screen, "Huh?" Chris asked and turns around to see Danny running up to him. "Sorry! Let's go!" Danny says, "It was nice talking to you, Mr. Stewart. See you!" Chris says as he and Danny run to lunch. "You're so slow, hurry up!" Chris says while Mr. Stewart watches them leave
Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic and Steven finished their warm up while Steven was out of breath. "Okay, how do you feel, Rookie?" Sonic asked, "I feel... tired..." Steven says as he fell on the grass. "That's because your dehydrated from the 30 minute run. Tell me, Rookie. Have you ever done a full exercise session back home?" Sonic asked, "Well... I... I did a little... Push ups... Sit ups... Jumping jacks... Jogging and... Stretches, but... I've never done a long session before..." Steven says, "Well, Rookie, it seems you have to work on making every workout kept on time because if you only do a little of each exercise, you won't progress much faster. If you want to get what you want, then you have to keep check on how long you do your exercise. Do you understand?" Sonic asked, "Yeah. I think I got it..." Steven says, "Okay, now wait right here" Sonic says before he runs off. After a few seconds, Sonic comes back with a log. "Here, Rookie. This is for you" Sonic says as he sets the log on the grass. "What's... the log... For?" Steven asked, "You're gonna carry this log and go around without stopping and dropping the log" Sonic says, "Huh? I have to hold that log while going around?" Steven asked as he looks at the log. "Yes, it's a good way to train your body" Sonic says, "But what if my arms get tired?" Steven asked, "If they do then they do. Don't worry. I'm not gonna force you to do it all over. I want to see how long you can do this so we can work on making you move like lightning. How does that sound?" Sonic asked, "Alright, if you say so" Steven says as he stands up and shakes himself a bit. "Now pick the log up" Sonic says, "Yes, Sonic" Steven says and he bends down and picks up the log. As Steven picked the log up, it was a bit heavy for Steven. "Whoa. This log sure is heavy" Steven says, "That's that whole point, Rookie. If you want to be a hero, then you have to accept any challenge that comes to you" Sonic says before Steven balances himself and holds the log right, "So, Sonic, what will happen if I do this for 30 minutes?" Steven asked, "Just wait and see, Rookie" Sonic says, "Huh?" Steven asked, "Now as you start, take it easy so you can get used to it, but to make it challenging after, you're gonna be skipping" Sonic says, "Skipping? 30 minutes of skipping" Steven asked, "That's right. Now get going!" Sonic says, causing Steven to yelp before trying to skip while holding the log. Steven struggled a bit as he did this. "This is harder than it looks!" Steven says in his head as he was sweating. "Wait a minute... All done with a rhythm..."Steven says in his head before he pieces together a strategy. Steven skips slowly and does it in a rhythm way. "Hey! This works pretty good... Skip... Skip, 2, 3, 4. Skip, 2, 3, 4. Skip, 2, 3, 4..."Steven says in his head as he kept the rhythm playing in his head. Sonic saw how Steven was going and smiled. "Great! He figured out the strategy. At this rate, this training will be breeze for him"Sonic says in his head.
Back at the Construction site, The construction worker continues operating the Bulldozer and dumps the dirt into the truck. As he digs again, the claw makes contact with the Green Chaos Emerald and it causes the claw to glow. This caused the construction workers to block their eyes and shout. "What the-!?" a construction worker asked while the glow fills up the bulldozer. Suddenly, the alarm goes off on the Bulldozer. "Hey, what's happening?" the first construction worker asked and yells due to the bulldozer moving by itself like it had a mind of its own. "Help! Somebody help me! I'm losing control!" the first construction worker says as the alarm continues to beep. The bulldozer lifts its claw. The other construction workers scream and run while the bulldozer was about to destroy a truck, but another construction worker came out just in time before the truck was tipped over. The bulldozer then drives over a few logs and continues driving. More construction workers yell and run. "It's coming this way!" Another construction worker says as he and the other ran. "I can't stop this thing!" the first construction worker says while the bulldozer's claw gets stuck in the dirt and tries to get out while the construction worker falls out of it. "Hey, are you alright?" another construction worker asked as he goes up to the first construction worker. "I...I don't know. All of a sudden, the thing had a mind of its own" the first construction worker says, "Huh?" the construction workers asked before they see the bulldozer stop moving slowly. The Green Chaos Emerald continues glowing from the dirt before stopping.
Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Steven finished the 30 minutes of skipping and pants again. "Good, we're off to a good start. I'm surprised you made it through the 30 minutes, Rookie" Sonic says, "Me... Too..." Steven says before standing up again. "Now, how about we make this part of the training fun" Sonic says before he ran off and dug a few holes on the ground while making his way back to Steven. "Why don't you zig zag between the holes along this path I made" Sonic says, "Zig zag?" Steven asked, "That's right. Whenever you're ready, go!" Sonic says, causing Steven to jump and carry the log, skip and now zig zag between the holes Sonic made. "Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4..." Steven says as he kept this up while Sonic was gonna take a nap on a tree branch.
Back at Chris's Elementary School, the children were eating lunch while Scarlet was on the news from a TV in the lunchroom. "Hey, Chris, What was Mr. Stewart talking to you about in the hall?" Danny asked, "Uh, he asked me what my favorite animal was." Chris says, "Huh. That's kind of weird." Danny says.
On TV, Scarlet was giving a story. "An unusual gemstone was discovered today at a department store construction site" Scarlet says while the TV had a little bit of static to it.
Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, in the living room, Cream and Cheese were reading a book with the same news on. "Eyewitnesses at the site report that construction machinery seemed to malfunction whenever it came within close contact of this strange jewel. The stone does appear to be radiating an invisible, highly-charged energy"Scarlet says off screen as Cream and Cheese were slowly getting tired as they close their eyes.
Back on TV, Scarlet continues. "Now, some of you watching at home may be experiencing some static" Scarlet says as the TV continues to static.
Back in the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Scarlet continues off screen while Cream and Cheese fell asleep. "This is a direct result of the gem's magnetic power." Scarlet says off screen and Cream drops her book, causing her and Cheese to wake up a bit. "Huh?" Cream asked with her eyes half opened.
Back on TV, Scarlet holds a picture of an example of the Green Chaos Emerald while the TV statics again. "This is an artist's rendering" Scarlet says.
Back in the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream and Cheese gasps in surprise. "AHHH!?" Cream asked, "Chao chao!" Cheese says.
Back to the TV, the camera zooms into the picture while the static continues.
Back to the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream and Cheese were about to spread the word. "We've gotta tell Sonic. Hurry!" Cream says as she and Cheese leave the living room before Cheese closes the door.
Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic was still napping on the tree branch and Steven was still doing the zig zag training. "Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag 4..."Steven says in his head as he was sweating. Sonic then eventually starts to wake up. "Pretty good nap. I needed that..." Sonic says as he stretches, Sonic then looks down at Steven. "How are you doing, Rookie?" Sonic asked, "I'm... So... Tired... That... I... Just... Can't... Stop!" Steven says, "That's good. Pretty soon you'll handle anything in a breeze" Sonic says, "Handle anything in a breeze? Oh boy... Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4..."Steven says in his head while skipping and zig zagging. "Sonic, you won't believe it" Cream says off screen. "Huh?" Sonic and Steven asked before looking at Cream who was making her towards the tree. "What's up?" Sonic asked before sliding down the tree. "They found one! They found one!" Cream says as she goes up to Sonic. "A Chaos Emerald...?" Steven asked while zig zagging. "Yes! Yes!" Cream says, "Alright! You've earned a break from running, Rookie" Sonic says before taking the log away from Steven. Steven stopped and then collapsed on the floor and was out of breath. "Are you okay, Steven?" Cream asked as she an Cheese went up to Steven while Cheese taps Steven's head. "Never better..." Steven says before passing out.
Inside the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman was also watching the news. "Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation of the surrounding area to determine the possible source of the gem. SSTV will continue to keep you posted with further updates." Scarlet says off screen and Dr. Eggman chuckles.
Back on TV, Scarlet was about to finish. "This is Scarlet Garcia reporting live from the site for SSTV News." Scarlet says.
Back in the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman turns off the TV and chuckles again. "Well, what do you know? A Chaos Emerald right under my nose." Dr. Eggman says, "Doctor?" Decoe asked, "Yes, Decoe?" Dr. Eggman asked as he turns his head to the left while Decoe gives him the tray of cards. "Your cards." Decoe says as Dr. Eggman takes the cards and checks them. "Hmm, let's see. Ah, which one?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen as he looks at them, but can't decided. "Hmm... I can't choose." Dr. Eggman says, then he decided to put the cards in a slot and pulls a lever as his computer will decide like it's a slot machine. It stops on all 3 and shows a bird robot named E-11 Beacon. "Beacon!" Dr. Eggman says off screen and laughs before getting up and giving two thumbs up, "It's this one!" Dr. Eggman says.
In the hanger of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, E-11 Beacon was making it's way to the opened door that leads outside. After it goes up to the opened door, E-11 Beacon positions its wings and takes off.
In the skies, Dr. Eggman was in his Egg Mobile and flies next to E-11 Beacon.
In the forest of the island where Dr. Eggman's Fortress was, the same agent from before sees Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon taking off before reporting it to his team on the radio. "Enemy aircraft spotted." The agent says on the radio."Roger" another agent through the radio says as Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon left the base.
Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman continues flying. "Once I get my hands on that Chaos Emerald, I'll create an even more powerful robot, and getting rid of that pesky blue hedgehog will be a breeze." Dr. Eggman says while laughing as he and E-11 Beacon continue flying in the air.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, outside of the garage, Tails and Amy were inside the Tornado 2. Sonic left earlier to search for the construction site and Cream and Chuck watch them before they leave. "Be careful. Don't get hurt, Tails" Cream says, "Don't worry, Cream. We'll be okay" Tails says, "I hope Sonic knows where he's going. If he gets lost, we won't know where to look for him" Amy says, "Don't worry about Sonic. If anyone can find the Chaos Emerald, he can" Tails says, "Good luck, and be sure to keep your eyes out for Sonic. I certainly hope they can find that Emerald..." Chuck says to himself before the Tornado 2 took off. After the Tornado 2 flies in the sky, Steven made his way to Chuck and Cream while yawning. "Hey, guys... Where did Sonic and the others go?" Steven asked, "Sonic took off to look for the Chaos Emerald on foot while Tails and Amy took the Tornado to look for it in the sky" Chuck says, "Alright, I'm gonna go and help" Steven says as he was about to go. "Steven, wait!" Chuck says off screen, causing Steven to stop and turn to Chuck. "What is it, Chuck?" Steven asked as he went up to Chuck and Cream. "Sonic told me to tell you that you should stay here" Chuck says, "Huh? But why?" Steven asked, "Because after that training Sonic told me about that he was giving you, he thought it be best if you rest before they get back" Chuck says, "He's right, Steven. You need to rest" Cream says, "But I feel fine now. I think I'll be alright" Steven says, "You might think that, but I think it's best that you follow Sonic's orders and rest up. You don't want to go out and you feel tired, do you?" Chuck asked, "No...I guess not..." Steven says as he looks down and Chuck puts a hand on Steven's shoulder. "Good. Don't take it too personally. Sonic's just looking out for you, okay?" Chuck asked, "Okay..." Steven says before walking away.
Back in the yard, Steven lays down on the grass underneath the shade of a tree. "I know Sonic's just looking out for me, but I can't just do nothing and let him do everything else. After all, he's the one training so the least I can do is repay him by helping him. But at the same time, I don't know what to do when something happens. I might as well let Sonic handle everything from here... Maybe a nap can sooth things down"Steven says before he closes his eyes and takes a nap.
In Station Square, Sonic was zig zagging from the building's wall as he looked for the construction site. "The place is around here somewhere... Bet I could see it easier with a bird's-eye view." Sonic says before he jumps up and lands on an antenna and looks over at the city while crossing his arms. "I'll just chill out up here and wait for Tails and Amy" Sonic says.
Back in the ocean, the waves were crashing.
Above the ocean, Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon continue flying to Station Square until Dr. Eggman sees four signals on his radar as it beeps and turns around. "Huh? Well, I do believe someone is following me" Dr. Eggman says as he sees a few missiles locking on to him and E-11 Beacon. Dr. Eggman laughs as he saw this. "This could be fun. What do you say, Beacon? Let's sink the finks!" Dr. Eggman says as E-11 Beacon flies ahead and runs a vase of manouvers, making the missiles crash in the water. "How do you like them apples? You foolish flyboys thought you could pull one over on the good doctor, didn't you? Well, I guess the bad doctor proved you wrong." Dr. Eggman says as he and E-11 Beacon were getting close to Station Square.
Back inside Chris' classroom of the Elementary School, Mr. Stewart was doing math on the board with the class. "Questions, anyone?" Mr. Stewart asked as he turned his head a bit to the children. "All right, now you try it" Mr. Stewart says off screen and the children got started on working on the math problem. Before Chris could continue, he hears something from outside. "Huh?" Chris asked and looks out the window and sees the Tornado 2 flying past the school and yells in surprise. Mr. Stewart turns his head a bit as he heard Chris. "What are you looking at, Chris?" Frances asked, "Uh… Um… Excuse me! Mr. Stewart, I'll be right back! I gotta do something!" Chris says before running out of the classroom. "Hey, Chris!" Danny says while Mr. Stewart watches Chris leave. "Keep working class. I need to step away for a moment. Study quietly on your own." Mr. Stewart says as he walks out the classroom, leaving the class confused. "Ehhh? What is this?" a child asked off screen, "What~?" another child asked off screen, "What should we do...?" another child asked off screen, "Oh!" Frances and Danny said as they looked at each other.
Back in Station Square, Chris was on roller skates while trying to catch up with the Tornado. "I've just gotta find that Emerald. Just got to." Chris says as he makes a turn on the left. Suddenly, a green car makes a heavy break backs away a bit. This car belonged to Mr. Stewart and Mr. Stewart made the left turn and followed Chris and makes sure he keeps his distance so he wouldn't be spotted. Chris makes another left and Mr. Stewart's glasses shine.
Back with Sonic, he sees the Tornado 2 coming to his view and stands up. "It's about time. You'd think they could fly that a little faster." Sonic says, "Hey, Sonic, it's over there." Amy says while pointing in the direction. "Chaos Emerald, here I come!" Sonic says as he slides down the antena and jumps from one building to another before going on the ground.
Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Steven started to wake up as he was done with his nap. He sits up, stretches and lets out a yawn. "That was a good nap there. I guess Sonic was right that I needed to rest because it sured eased up my body a bit" Steven says as he did a little bit more stretches. "But still, even if Sonic wants me to rest, I still gotta repay him and help him look for the Chaos Emerald" Steven says as he looked at the window of the garage which was from Chuck's room. "All I have to do is get to the construction site it's at and get the Chaos Emerald without being spotted. It shouldn't be too hard. I just hope that Sonic understands when I tell him because I've never done something like this behind anyone's back, but if it'll help get the Chaos Emerald, then that's good enough for me. I can't believe I'm doing this, but i'm gonna do it. Okay, let's do this..."Steven says in his head. Steven then gets up and went inside the garage.
Back in Chuck's room, Chuck was typing on his computer as he didn't noice the door to the room was opening. Steven slowly opens the door and makes his way inside and gently closes the door behind him. Steven sneakingly walked across the room and grabbed the wrist mounted grapple gun and his blaster weapon. Chuck then lets out a yawn, making Steven flinch a bit before playing it cool. Chuck then goes back to typing and Steven sighs in relief. Steven once again sneakingly makes his way back towards the door. Steven slowly opens it and leaves before closing it behind him. Chuck turns around as he heard the door close and knew who it was and smiled a bit. "Good luck, Steven" Chuck says.
Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Steven puts the wrist mounted grapple gun on and gets a good grip on his blaster weapon. Steven then looked at the window of the Thorndyke Mansion to see Cream and Cheese still in the living room. "Sorry, guys, but I have a to make myself useful at some point" Steven says and used his grapple gun and left the Thorndyke Mansion.
Back at the construction site, the police were guarding the area where the Green Chaos Emerald is as it was off limits. There was a blue sheet over the area where the Green Chaos Emerald was while people were chatting and watching. Scarlet and the rest of the news team were still there too. "Wow, pretty freaky, huh?" A man asked. "Yeah, you said it. First, those weird hedgehogs come out of nowhere. Now, this magnetic emerald." The cameraman says before looking up. "Hey!" the cameraman says, "Huh?" Both the man and Scarlet asked as they look up. "What's the matter?" The man asked, "Look! Up there!" The cameraman says, "What's that?" Scarlet asked, "Huh?" The cameraman asked and everyone else look up while the cameraman points his camera The camera shows Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon flying in Station Square. "Whoa... Hey, it looks like that Dr. Eggman guy!" the cameraman says, getting the crowd's attention and look up and murmur.
Above Station Square, Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon continue flying while Dr. Eggman laughs.
Back with Sonic, he was jumping and running.
On the ground, there was a huge crowd running on the streets while yelling.
Back with Sonic, he saw the crowd from on top of a building. "What's going on here? Hmm?" Sonic asked before turning to his right and sees Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon flying. "So, Dr. Egghead thinks he can nab that Chaos Emerald before me" Sonic says before he starts running on the buildings. Sonic jumps of the buildings and runs on the streets.
Back above Station Square, Dr. Eggman and E-11 Beacon continue flying and Dr. Eggman chuckles. "We're closing in." Dr. Eggman says as he looks around Station Square. Dr. Eggman then turns to the left to see something running close.
Back with Sonic, Sonic continued running and jumping on top of the buildings.
Back with Dr. Eggman, he saw Sonic. "It's that blasted hedgehog! Change of plans. We'll come back for our little treasure later on. First, we'll get rid of that meddling Sonic!" Dr. Eggman says before E-11 Beacon speeds up and changes directions. E-11 Beacon chargers at Sonic with its eyes flashing.
Back with Sonic, he makes a big jump off a building, "What!?" Sonic asked before E-11 Beacon rams into Sonic and pushes him up in the sky.
Back with Dr. Eggman, he laughed as he saw this.
Back with Sonic, he gets dizzy until he sees E-11 Beacon coming at him again and gets pushed up again. "Oh!" Sonic says before E-11 Beacon kept tossing Sonic in the air again as Sonic couldn't do anything. "Whoa! Oh! Ooh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Whoa! Oh!" Sonic says as he continues being tossed. The Tornado 2 then comes into view. "Quick, Amy!" Tails says as Amy is about to throw a power ring. "Look, Sonic, the ring! I'll throw it to you!" Amy says as she waves the wing back and forth while Sonic keeps getting tossed in the air. "Whoa!" Sonic says as he was tossed again before the Tornado 2 gets closer. "Here I go!" Amy says before she then tosses the ring to him. "Catch!" Amy says off screen, "Whoa!" Sonic says as the ring gets closer to Sonic and Sonic tries to grab it with his hands, but the ring slips out and falls downwards, "Whoa!" Sonic says as he falls down downwards. "No way!" Sonic says off screen as the ring was falling towards the ground. "Not good." Tails says, "Oh, no! We're too far away. Hey, what if we try to get closer?" Amy asked, "It won't be easy, but I can try." Tails says, "All right, let's do it." Amy says as they get closer to Sonic.
Back with Dr. Eggman, he chuckles as he sees Sonic still being tossed in the air. "Now that our speedy little friend is out of the way, Let's get back to our original plan, shall we?" Dr. Eggman asked and laughs as he closes in on the construction site.
Back with Steven, he was zip lining through Station Square as he was trying to find the construction site that had the Chaos Emerald. "It should be around here ?" Steven asked as he saw Dr. Eggman heading in the direction where the construction site is. "That's Dr. Eggman. He must know where the Chaos Emerald is. if I follow him, watch him look for the Chaos Emerald, I'll try to get it before he does. But I better hurry!" Steven says as he kept zip lining through Station Square.
Back at the construction site, Dr. Eggman parks his Eggmobile and gets off. Dr. Eggman pulls off the blue blanket off and starts digging. After a few digs, he saw a glimpse of the Green Chaos Emerald before digging again and getting a better view of it. Dr. Eggman chuckles and tried to grab it until a hand grabs it first. "Ahh! Give that back to me!" Dr. Eggman says, "I can't believe it. I found the Chaos Emerald..." Chris says while looking at the Emerald as it shines. But from behind him, Dr. Eggman walks up to Chris and taps his head while chuckling. "Huh?" Chris asked in confusion until Dr. Eggman slaps Chris's hand with the Green Chaos Emerald upwards. "Ah!" Chris says, "Ah-ha!" Dr. Eggman says as he grabs the Green Chaos Emerald. "Hey, that's mine!" Chris says, "Sorry. Not anymore. Besides, my dear boy, you'd hardly know what to do with such a thing." Dr. Eggman says and laughs while jumping back into his Egg Mobile. "But I found it first!" Chris says, trying to get the Green Chaos Emerald back. "Buzz off, kid!" Dr. Eggman says, "But it's mine!" Chris says, "Let go of me, you pipsqueak!" Dr. Eggman says, "Give me that!" Chris says before he grumbles. As they fight for the Green Chaos Emerald, Steven arrived in time to see Chris trying to get the Green Chaos Emerald back."Chris? What's he doing here? Doesn't matter, I've gotta help him!" Steven says as he runs towards Dr. Eggman and Chris. "Chris!" Steven says, getting Dr. Eggman and Chris's attention. "Steven?" Chris asked before Dr. Eggman throws Chris off the Egg Mobile. "Aah!" Chris says as Dr. Eggman begins to fly right before Chris grabs onto the antenna from the bottom and yells as Dr. Eggman started flying. "Chris!" Steven says and reached for Chris' leg before grabbing it. "Steven, help me!" Chris says, worryingly. "Hold on, Chris!" Steven says as he tries to get a good grip on Chris' leg. Chris struggled as he held on to the antenna and continues yelling as he, Steven and Dr. Eggman go further in the sky.
Back with Sonic, he is still being tossed in the air by E-11 Beacon. "Ooh! Hey! Oh! Oh! Knock it off! Whoa! Oh! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Sonic says as he continues to get dizzy. "Sonic!" Amy says off screen, getting Sonic's attention as he looks to see the Tornado 2 fly close to Sonic with Amy holding another ring. "Sonic!" Amy says as Sonic gets close to her. "Here you go!" Amy says and Sonic grabs the ring from Amy. "Okay!" Sonic says and charges his fist at E-11 Beacon. The ring glows in Sonic's hand and he performs his powerful spin. Sonic then smashed through E-11 Beacon and destroys E-11 Beacon explodes.
Sonic then lands back on the ground. "Aahhhhhhh! Help! Somebody help!" Chris says off screen getting Sonic's attention as he looks up to see Chris underneath Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile antenna. "It's Chris... Wait a minute, who's that on his leg?" Sonic asked as he got a better look to see Steven holding onto Chris's leg. "Steven? I thought Chuck told him to stay put. What's he doing out here?" Sonic asked before he runs after them.
Back in the skies, the Tornado 2 goes to the direction of Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile. "We're coming, guys!" Amy says, "Chris, Steven, hold on! I can't believe Steven's going after Dr. Eggman" Tails says, "He probably wanted to help and decided to go after the Chaos Emerald" Amy says, "I guess, but at the same time, Steven has to be careful when it comes to Eggman" Tails says, "Hang on, Chris and Steven!" Amy says as Tails flies the Tornado 2 towards them.
Back with Dr. Eggman, Chris and Steven, Dr. Eggman was holding the Green Chaos Emerald while chuckling. Steven eventually climbed up and held on to Chris and the antenna. "Chris, are you okay?" Steven asked, "I'm fine, Steven. Are you okay?" Chris asked, "Yeah, but I thought you were suppose to be in school, Chris?" Steven asked, "I know, but I saw the news about the Chaos Emerald and the Tornado fly by in my classroom. I just wanted to help. That's all" Chris says and Steven chuckles. "Funny because I wanted to help too, but I was told to stay back" Steven says, "What do you mean?" Chris asked, "Sonic's been training all morning and after he Cream told us about the Chaos Emerald, I wanted to help too, but Sonic told me stay back and rest. I hesitated but did what he said by taking a nap. After that, I decided to go against him and help look for the Chaos Emerald as a way to repay him. That's how I'm here hanging on for my dear life" Steven says, "You would do anything to help, Steven. I'm glad you came because I don't know if I can hold on for much longer" Chris says, "Yeah, me too. Okay, I've got an idea. I'll help you up to one of the wings while I go on the other wing and we'll try to get the Chaos Emerald back without Dr. Eggman noticing. How does that sound?" Steven asked, "Good idea, Steven. Be careful" Chris says, "I will and you too, Chris. Okay, let's do this" Steven says as he began to help Chris up the Egg Mobile. Chris struggled to get on top of the Egg Mobile, but with Steven's help, he manages to grab on the wing and continues climbing even if the wind is pushing him back. Steven got hold of the antenna and struggled his way to the other wing, but manage to get on it. Steven turned his head to block the wind a bit. Chris looks to see Dr. Eggman before he lowers his head so he won't be spotted. "Hmm?" Dr. Eggman asked as turns around he saw a little bit of Chris. Dr. Eggman then chuckles before turning the joystick, Dr. Eggman chuckles again as he moved the Egg Mobile towards the bottom left and Chris yells. Chris tried to keep his grip while Steven is struggling to get a grip on the other wing. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Steven says before he gets a good grip on the wing. Steven then saw the Green Chaos Emerald in Dr. Eggman's hands. "There it is!"Steven says as he carefully reaches his hand out towards the Green Chaos Emerald. Dr. Eggman saw Steven and laughs before turning the Egg Mobile right. "Whoa!" Steven says as he almost slipped off before grabbing on the wing again. Chris yells as he was about to fall, but grabs hold of Dr. Eggman's mustache and Dr. Eggman screams in pain. "Hey! Hey!" Dr. Eggman says before he tries to pull his face back. "Let go! Let go! Let me go!" Dr. Eggman says, "Whoa! I did not see that coming!" Steven says in his head while struggling to get back on the wing. "I won't let go! Give me back that Emerald!" Chris says and the Egg Mobile moves around a bit. "Whoa!" Steven says as he held on tightly and saw the Green Chaos Emerald was about to fall out. "Now's my chance!" Steven says as he tries to reaches for the Green Chaos Emerald while Dr. Eggman was trying to take Chris's hand off his mustache. "You grubby little beast! Let go of my mustache!" Dr. Eggman says before he gets Chris's hand off and drops him.
Chris then started falling while holding onto the Green Chaos Emerald. "No waaaaaay!" Chris says as he screams.
Back with Dr. Eggman and Steven, Steven gasped as he saw Chris fall down. "Chris!" Steven says, "That caterwauling brat certainly was a handful!" Dr. Eggman says as he fixes his mustache until he realizes the Green Chaos Emerald was gone from his hands. "Aah! My Emerald!" Dr. Eggman says. Steven was a bit nervous to jump down. "Oh... Great! Because of my stubbornness, I gotta jump 50 feet from the sky and save Chris! I don't have the bravery to jump that high... I... Can't..."Steven says in his head as he was still too nervous. Before he was about to give up while closing his eyes, Steven then remembers something. "If we encounter Dr. Eggman again, you could possible win next time. And don't be scared. That could be your moment to shine" Amy says off screen in Steven's head. "You still have a chance on being a keep going and don't let your fear own you" Sonic says off screen in Steven's head. Steven then opens his eyes. "They're right! I have to do this... Here it goes...!" Steven says before he lets out a yell and jumps off Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked as he turned to where Steven jumped off.
Back with Chris, he continues to scream and fall while holding the Green Chaos Emerald and Steven is trying to fly down to catch him. As Steven was falling, he suddenly felt lighter. "Wait a minute. Why do I suddenly feel lighter? Could it be from the training?" Steven says in his head before he shakes his arms around and felt that the wind wasn't making his movements a difference. "It is! The training really did pay off! I should take advantage of it now!" Steven says in his head before he puts his arms against his body and sky dived faster.
With Mr. Stewart, he was still driving on the road but suddenly sees Chris falling. "Huh?" Mr. Stewart asked before he presses a button in his car which activates the ceiling of the car to open and the back seat to inflate. Mr. Stewart sees the map in his car as it showed a red signal moving before looking back towards Chris. "I'll save him!" Mr. Stewart says as he pushes the pedal and drives faster towards Chris.
Back with Chris, he continues to scream as he was getting closer to the street along with Steven. "Hang on, Chris!" Steven says in his head as he was getting close to Chris. Steven then grabs onto Chris. "I've gotcha, Chris!" Steven says and Chris held on to Steven. But before Steven could do anything else, he notices how close they were about to hit the ground. "Oh... No..." Steven says before he closes his eyes.
Back with Mr. Stewart, he was still speeding on the streets trying to catch Chris. From behind Mr. Stewart's car, Sonic speeds past Mr. Stewart, causing Mr. Stewart to gasps. Sonic then grabs both Chris and Steven. Sonic ran while Chris was unconscious and Steven was slowly opening his eyes as he felt someone picked him up. Steven opened to see Sonic holding him and Chris. "Sonic..."Steven says in his head while he, Chris and Sonic ran away from the area. Everyone outside was curious to what they saw and Mr. Stewart stops his car. "Phew..." Mr. Stewart says before he deflates the the back cushion and closes the celing. "Well, it's good to know someone is looking out for the kid. Speaking of looking out for kids, I'd better get back to school." Mr. Stewart says off screen as he turns his car around and drives off.
Back at the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic, Steven, Tails, Amy and Chris returned. "Look, look! It's a Chaos Emerald!" Chris says off screen.
Inside the Garage, Chris was holding the Green Chaos Emerald in his hand while it glows. Amy, Tails, Cream, Cheese and Chuck stare at it close while mumuring. "Now that we have one, we just need six more." Cream says, holding a finger up, "That's right, Cream" Amy says, "I'm not certain we should keep it here. After all, it might have an effect on my equipment." Chuck says, "No problem. If anything goes wrong with them, I'll fix them for you." Tails says, making Chuck chuckle. "All right, it's a deal." Chuck says, "Okay, Grandpa." Tails says. Chris then looks the other way, making Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chuck look at him. Chris then goes up to Sonic who was on the window sale. "Um, Sonic...? I'm sorry." Chris says, "What are you sorry for?" Sonic asked, "Well, for… for losing..." Chris says before he was cut off, "Got it back, didn't you? That's all that matters" Sonic says and Chris looks at him in surprise. "I think you did a great job!" Sonic says as he gives him a thumbs up, making Chris blush in embarrassment. "Uh, I… I did?" Chris asked, "You sure did, Chris. Just be a little more careful next time, huh?" Chuck asked before he laughs. "Hmm?" Chuck asked as he stopped. "Thanks" Chris says and looks at Sonic. "Hmm" Sonic says. Sonic then turns to Steven who was sitting on the bed while looking at the floor. "Steven. You were supposed to stay here to rest while I went to look for the Chaos Emerald, remember?" Sonic asked and Steven picks his head up. "I know, Sonic..." Steven says, "And what did you do?" Sonic asked, "I was too stubborn to listen that I joined in. I know. I'm sorry for not listening, Sonic, I know you were just looking out for me, but I didn't want to sit around and do nothing while you guys were getting your hands dirty on finding the Chaos Emerald and stopping Dr. Eggman. I wanted to make myself feel useful" Steven says, "I understand that, Steven, but you have to remember that there are consequences that can lead you to danger if you don't know when to act" Sonic says, "I know, Sonic. I'm sorry again. I just wanted to repay you" Steven says, making Sonic and the others look surprised. "Repay me for what?" Sonic asked before Steven stands up from the bed. "For everything you're teaching me, Sonic. You're the reason why I wanted play the hero, even if I didn't get it right the first time. But I remember what you and Amy told that it could be my moment to shine and for me to not get the best of me. I did just that and did my best to save Chris even it was you that saved both of us and get the Chaos Emerald. So because of the training and encouragement, I felt lighter and braver then before. So if the training you give me keeps up, I will get better and I know I will fully succeed one day" Steven says. Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Chris and Chuck were really surprised by Steven's speech that his caused Sonic to smile. "Steven, I'm proud of you" Sonic says, giving a thumbs up. "You are? For what?" Steven asked, "You've proven to me that you have the courage to keep getting better and overcoming your doubts by learning from your mistakes to trying again and getting better. Even if it held you back a bit, you still managed to help do the right thing" Sonic says, "Really?" Steven asked, "I think Sonic's right, Steven. You may have gotten scared, but you still pulled through just fine" Tails says, "Yeah. What you did is what a hero would do" Amy says, "You did a good job, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Really? I'm a hero for this?" Steven asked, "Yeah, Steven. Thank you for trying to save from the fall. Even if you didn't actually save me, you still did your best and that's what matters the most" Chris says, "Steven, you got a bright future ahead of you" Chuck says, Steven saw the smiles on everyone's faces and smiled too. "Thanks, guys. You guys are the best" Steven says, "You're welcome, but like I said to Chris, just be a little more careful next time, okay?" Chuck asked, "Sure. No problem" Steven says and he and Sonic chuckled. Amy, Tails, Cream and Cheese giggled. "Can I see the Chaos Emerald?" Steven asked, "Sure" Chris says as he shows Steven the Green Chaos Emerald as it glows. "Wow. It's even shinier in person" Steven says as he, Chris, Chuck, Sonic, Cream, Cheese, Amy and Tails all go back to looking at the glowing Green Chaos Emerald.
Back outside the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, the birds were chirping. Knowing that Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese need help to find six more of the Chaos Emeralds in order to return to their world, Steven will do whatever it takes to help out anyway as his training and the search for the Chaos Emeralds will continue on.
Fu-tu-re (ミ・ラ・イ, Mi-ra-i)
Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hi! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! As Knuckles went down his own path, it seems he's been hiding in the city for some time now. But one night, he came in contact with Dr. Eggman, who claims that he wants to collected the Seven Chaos Emeralds to return to our home world as well as apologize for everything he's done in the past. So Dr. Eggman asked Knuckles to deal with Sonic personally and Knuckles accepted it, but Knuckles didn't realize that Dr. Eggman told him lies. The next day, there was a report of an unidentified gem was discovered in a place called Silver Valley. But when we got there, it was all a trap Dr. Eggman set up! Now it looks like Sonic and Knuckles are about to fight! I have to stop them before someone gets hurt! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Clash! Steven vs. Knuckles" ("Cracking Knuckles"). The fight is on!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
