Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

8. Episode 7

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

The next morning at the Thorndyke Mansion, it was another beautiful morning with the fountain water running. "Now, remember, Cream" Chris says off screen.

Inside Chris' room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Chris was about to head to School, but wanted to make sure that Cream and Cheese stay in his bedroom. After this was heard, Sonic decided to have Steven volunteer to babysit Cream and Cheese for the day and Steven accepted it. While Chris was in School, Sonic and the others are told to stay out of site from Ella, Lindsey and Mr. Tanaka. "You too, Cheese, stay inside and do whatever Steven tells you while I'm gone, okay?" Chris asked, "Okay" Cream says, "Chao" Cheese says, "You sure you'll be fine watching them for the day, Steven?" Chris asked, "Yeah, Chris. Don't worry, they're in good hands" Steven says, "Alright, I'll see ya later" Chris says as he was about to leave. Cream and Cheese give sad faces as they watch Chris leave the room. Cream and Cheese look at each other before giving a sigh. "Chao" Cheese says. Steven saw this and was concerned. "What's wrong, guys?" Steven asked as Cream goes up to the balcony window.

Outside at the balcony, Cream and Cheese step out. "I don't want to stay inside. I want to go outside and play" Cream says as she leans on the railing. "I know Cream, I don't want to stay cooped inside either, but we can't do anything with Chris's mother, the maid and the butler roaming around in the mansion. We could get caught" Steven says, "I know, but there has to be something we can do without being spotted" Cream says until she spotted something. "Whoa!" Cream says happily as she saw something. "What is it?" Steven asked, "I want to pick out some flowers. Can we, Steven?" Cream asked, "Well... I don't know..." Steven says, "Please" Cream says with a baby voice and face. Steven saw Cream's face and knew there was no way out of this. Steven then sighs in defeat. "Alright, but just for a little bit. After that, we go back to the bedroom. Okay?" Steven asked, "Okay" Cream says, "Chao" Cheese says, "Alright. Hold on" Steven says as he picks them up and jumps from the balcony to the ground.

At the garage, birds were chirping off screen.

In Chuck's room, Sonic was napping on Chuck's chair, Amy was looking at Sonic and Tails was looking at them. Then suddenly, Amy and Tails hear Cream's giggles. "Huh? That sounds like Cream and Cheese outside." Amy says as she and Tails look out the window to see Cream, Cheese and Steven.

With Cream, Cheese and Steven, Cream was humming and picking flowers with Cheese watching. Steven had his eyes closed as he smelled the fresh air. Tails and Amy were looking out from the window of Chuck's room.

Back with Amy and Tails, they were curious. "I wonder what they're doin' out there, Amy" Tails says, "I bet Cream's out there gathering some flowers while Steven is making sure they don't get spotted" Amy says, causing Sonic to open one of his eyes. "They know we're supposed to stay inside while Chris is at school. What's so important about going outside to pick flowers? Oh..." Tails says as a he realized something.

A flashback shows Cream humming and picking flowers off the ground in an open field area. Tails was then walking around while having his arms behind his head. Tails stops as he spotted Cream and walks up to her. "Hi, Cream, what're you doing there?" Tails asked, causing Cream to turn to him and show him the flowers she picked out. "I'm gonna surprise my mom by making her a crown out of flowers" Cream says.

Back to reality, Tails figured it all out. "I guess she misses her mom" Tails says, "Of course she does. I just wish… I just wish we could do something to cheer her up." Amy says, "Well maybe Steven can do something to cheer her up" Tails says, "Maybe..." Amy says, "Hmm?" Sonic asked as he looks at a picture of a small pond with flowers around it at a mountain area. The picture was titled "Peace Park". "Hmm" Sonic says as he does some thinking. After a few seconds, Sonic gets a idea. "I got it" Sonic says as he gets up, takes the picture, and goes downstairs before closing the floor door on the way out. "Huh?" Tails and Amy asked, "Sonic?" Amy asked, wondering where Sonic ran off to.

Giant Free-for-All! Chris' House Party (Party Hardly)

In the dining room of the Thorndyke Mansion, there was burnt and not properly cooked food all over the dinner table as Chris was sleeping on his chair. Lindsey hums and holds a plate of burnt pancakes and brings it to the table. "It's marvelous to be back in the kitchen again. On my movie sets, the chefs won't let me cook a thing. Here are your buttermilk pancakes, dear" Lindsey says as she sets the plate down in front of Chris. "Enjoy!" Lindsey says, causing Chris to wake up. "Hmm!" Chris says and sweat drop a little before picking up a pancake. "Huh? Uh... Ugh" Chris says as the burnt pancake broke into crisp. Ella then walks in. "Oh, my! Oh! I smell something burning. Oh!" Ella says as she walks in and looks at the mess on the table while sweat dropping. "Oh, Ella, it's so good to be home again. I have an idea, Let's have a big party." Lindsey says, "Party?" Chris asked while Cream and Cheese step in a little bit with Steven going up to them. Steven was about to say something to Cream and Cheese, but was cut off by Lindsey talking about a party. "Yes, a dinner party tonight. We can all dress up. I'm sure Ella can prepare something absolutely scrumptious" Lindsey says, "A party's a great idea! And do you think you can invite your brother Sam to come over, since he's my favorite uncle?" Chris asks, "Of course, darling. You can have anything you want. Anything at all for my adorable baby boy." Lindsey says as she hugs Chris. "If we're having a party tonight, this calls for heavy-duty cleaning. Time to clear some clutter" Ella says as she laughs and gets ready to clean. "Wow, a party! This is great" Cream says, "Hee hee!" Cheese says, "I love parties!" Cream says, "I've never been to a party before" Steven says, "You haven't, Steven?" Cream asked, "No" Steven says, "Well this could be your chance to go to one" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "I don't think so, guys" Steven says, "Huh? Why not?" Cream asked, "Well Cream, we're not supposed to be walking around the Mansion if Chris's mother, the maid and the butler are around. We're supposed to stay hidden from them and stay in the room like Chris told us to" Steven says, "But I don't want to go back in the room" Cream says, "I know, but we don't have a choice, Cream" Steven says before Cream gets an idea. "I know! I'll make a flower crown" Cream says, "A flower crown?" Steven asked, "Yes. I'll make it by using the flowers I collected outside" Cream says, "Okay, that'll give you something to do, but we have to do it in the room, okay?" Steven asked, "Okay" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Let's go, guys" Steven says as they make they're way back to the room.

At Chris's Elementary School, birds chirped off screen.

Inside Chris' classroom, the children were talking with each other while Chris was telling Francis and Danny about the party. "A party?" Danny asked, "Yeah. My mom wants us to have fun while she's home. My uncle's coming for the party, too" Chris says, "The racer?" Frances asked, "Yeah, he's the coolest, and he's the leader of the S Team." Chris says.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Stewart was listening to the conversation by the window. "Hmm" Mr. Stewart says in interest and chuckles before stepping away.

Back at Chris' room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream was making her flower crown with Cheese watching while Steven was doing some stretching. Cream saw that she didn't have enough flowers. "This crown doesn't have enough flowers..." Cream says before sighing and placing the rest of the flowers on the bed. "We better pick more!" Cream says as she and Cheese head to the door. "Huh?" Steven asked as he heard and saw Cream and Cheese leave the room before closing the door behind them. Steven then sighs. "Who knew babysitting can always put you on your feet" Steven says before heading out the room before closing the door.

Back with Cream and Cheese, Cream runs down the stairs with Cheese following her. "Ooh!" Cream says as she hides by the staircase and sees Lindsey putting up decorations in the living room. "Maybe I could help decorate for the party." Cream says, "Chao~!" Cheese says before Steven goes up to them from behind. "Cream, Cheese, don't wander off by yourselves like that" Steven says, "I'm sorry, Steven, but I want to help decorate for the party" Cream says, "Cream, I told you that-" Steven says, but was cut off by Cream's baby face again. Steven saw this and sighs in defeat again. "Alright. I guess I can't say no to that face now can I?" Steven asked as he chuckles a bit. "Nope" Cream says as she smiles. "Okay, we'll try and help decorate, but we have to stay hidden. Okay?" Steven asked, "Okay" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Alright. Follow me" Steven says as they wait for the right moment to enter the living room.

Back at Chris's Elementary School, the school bell rang.

Back inside Chris' Elementary School, the children were discussing what their plans were after school in the hallway. "What're you doing after school?" a child asked, "Do you want to go to the mall?" another child asked, "Bye" Chris says to a boy before he grabs his backpack and closes his locker. "Hey, Chris." Mr. Stewart says off screen, causing Chris to turn around and for Mr. Stewart to go up to him. "I haven't been teaching here long, but I just wanted to say thanks. I'm really lucky to have so many intelligent and talented kids in my class" Mr. Stewart says, "Uh..." Chris says nervously, "You kids are terrific, and I want to know all of you better. So I'm coming to visit you and your family later today." Mr. Stewart says, "Aah!" Chris says, "Huh, I can't wait to meet your mom and get her autograph." Mr. Stewart says and he leaves, "Aah!" Chris says in panic.

At the mountains, Sonic was looking at the picture of the pond in Peace Park. Sonic studys the picture and the environment as he looks at a direction before rolling the picture up and running on the mountains.

Back inside the Thorndyke Mansion, Chris enters the Thorndyke Mansion. "Hey, I'm home!" Chris says, "How was school today, Master Christopher?" Mr. Tanaka asked, "It was pretty good, Mr. Tanaka." Chris says, "Oh, Chris, darling, your home!" Lindsey says as she hugs Chris while Mr. Tanaka walks away. "I- I hope it's okay, but my teacher Mr. Stewart's coming over today to visit" Chris says before Lindsey stops hugging Chris. "And it sounds like he's a really big fan of your movies, Mom." Chris says, "That reminds me. What am I going to wear? I should've had the studio send over a gown." Lindsey says, "I feel sorry for dogs." Chuck says off screen. "Huh?" Lindsey asked as Chuck walks down the stairs with a suit on. "How do they stand it? This collar's killing me!" Chuck says and Chris goes up to Chuck. "How come you're wearing those clothes, Grandpa?" Chris asks, "Mr. Tanaka said I couldn't wear my lab coat to the party. I don't see why not." Chuck says as they didnt notice Cream and Cheese making a decoration with Steven watching them. "Hey, Grandpa, when you see Sonic and the others, could you ask 'em to please stay out of sight until Mr. Stewart and my uncle go away?" Chris asked while whispering, "I know that Amy and Tails are up in my room, but I haven't seen Sonic, Steven or Cream and Cheese all day." Chuck says while Steven lifts Cream up and helps her place the decoration on a hanging light. "Huh?" Chuck and Chris asked at the same time as they hear noises. They gasp when they saw Steven with Cream and Cheese.

In the living room, Cream was placing the decoration on a hanging lamp while Steven was holding Cream for support. "Chao! Chao chao!" Cheese says as he watches. Steven then turns his head and saw Chris and Chuck looking at them. Steven then looked nervous. "Uh oh..." Steven says.

Back with Chris and Chuck, they were shocked. "It's Steven, Cream and Cheese!" Chris says, "Is something wrong?" Lindsey asked from behind, causing Chris and Chuck to shout and while waving their hands blocking her view. After a few seconds, they stop and hold their positions. "Uh, what's the matter with you two?" Lindsey asked before Chris pushed Lindsey around. "Everything's okay here, Mom. You better hurry up and get ready. Me and Grandpa will take care of the rest of the decorating for tonight's party." Chris says as he tried to push Lindsey upstairs. "But there's plenty of time." Lindsey says, "Yeah, but you know how time flies when you're putting on your makeup. Right, Grandpa?" Chris asked, "Uh...yes! And don't forget all of the food that has to be prepared, too!" Chuck says as he scratches his head. "Oh, well, I'll go see how Ella's doing in the kitchen" Lindsey says as she leaves while Chris and Chuck sigh in relief. Chris then goes into the living room.

Back in the living room, Cream was still adjusting her decoration. "Cream, hurry..." Steven says before Chris enters the room. "What are you three doing here, Steven?" Chris asked, but before Steven can say anything, Ella's voice was heard. "AH! Busy, busy" Ella says as she was about to enter the living room with a basket of clothes in her hands, causing Chris to grab Steven, Cream and Cheese and hide behind the couch. Ella walks in and looks at the decoration Cream made. "Huh, Mrs. Thorndyke decorates like a little kid!" Ella says and laughs before walking out of the room. "Cream, I asked you to stay upstairs so nobody would see you. And Steven, I thought you were supposed to watch them and make sure they didn't wander off!" Chris says, "I'm sorry, Chris. I tried to stop them but they overpowered me" Steven says, "That room is boring, and we only wanted to help you get ready for your party." Cream says, "Master Chris understands" Mr. Tanaka says off screen, causing Chris and Steven to flinch a bit while Cream looks up. "It is very thoughtful of you and Mr. Steven to help us get ready, Cream" Mr. Tanaka says and Chris, Steven, Cream and Cheese stand up. "Mr. Tanaka, you know about these guys?" Chris asked, "Of course." Mr. Tanaka says, "Wow! This guy has a sharp eyesight then" Steven says in his head, "You knew all along... Do you think you could help me and Grandpa keep this a secret for right now?" Chris asked as he, Mr. Tanaka and Steven didn't notice Cream and Cheese walking and flying away. "I will" Mr. Tanaka says, causing Chris and Steven to sigh in relief. "Thanks a lot" Chris says, "Well that's good to know now" Steven says until he and Chris panic to see that Cream and Cheese were gone. "Hold on! They're gone!" Chris says as he and Mr. Tanaka looks around. Steven then was about to leave the room. "I'll go look for them, Chris. You and Mr. Tanaka make sure your mom and the maid don't see them" Steven says, "Try not to get spotted, Steven" Chris says, "I'll try" Steven says before leaving the room and search for Cream and Cheese.

Back with Sonic, he continues running and looking at the picture while trying to find the Peace Park around the mountains.

Back in the Thorndyke Mansion, Chris was also looking for Cream and Cheese as he stepped into his bedroom. "Cream!? Cheese!? I wonder where they wandered off to" Chris says as he looks around before leaving.

In the kitchen, Ella was mixing cake with a cake mix. "Ella! Ella!" Lindsey says off screen from upstairs. "Oh. What?!" Ella asked before she turns off the mixer. "I can't find my green Versace! You didn't send it to the cleaners, did you?" Lindsey asked off screen from upstairs, "Uh, no. It should be there!" Ella says, "It's not here!" Lindsey says off screen from upstairs, "I'm on my way!" Ella says as she then walks out the kitchen. "Good grief" Ella says before she leaves. After Ella left, Cream and Cheese go in the kitchen to see all the food on the counter. "Wow, look at all that food! It smells so good." Cream says off screen "Chao!" Cheese says off screen, "They look so tasty!Hmm" Cream says as she noticed the blender. "Mmmm!" Cheese says as he flies towards the cake mixer. "We can help, Cheese" Cream says as she and Cheese press a button on the blender and mixer. This caused the food to scatter all over the kitchen. Cream and Cheese scream in fright. "Oh no!" Cream says as they run out the kitchen. As Cream and Cheese left, Steven enters the kitchen. "Cream? Cheese?" Steven asked, "Huh?" Ella asked as she enters the kitchen. Ella looks at Steven with shock and Steven gasped a bit before saying something unexpected. "Uhh... Meow?" Steven asked as he nervously smiles.

Back with Chris, he was looking for Cream and Cheese in another room in the hallways. "Hey, Cream, are you-Huh?" Chris asked as he was cut off by Ella's scream that was heard. "Aah! CREAM! Cheese!" Chris says as he runs to where the scream is heard.

Back in the kitchen, Ella continued screaming and this caused Steven to scream as well. Due to the blender and cake mix still powered on, some of the food flew into them, causing Ella to almost fall, but held onto the counter. "Oww..." Steven says as he leaves the room while wiping himself. Chris then enters to see what was going on. "Aaaah!" Chris says before he notices Ella and goes up to her. "Ella, hey! Are you okay?" Chris asked, "Oh, my dinner is a disaster!" Ella says, "Unh! Uh..." Chris says as he looks around.

Back with Sonic, he looks down to see a waterfall with a bridge above it. Sonic then whistles. "This is cool! Eh…" Sonic says as he saw how broken and delicate the bridge was. Sonic took the chance to run to the other side fast before the bridge breaks down with pieces of wood falling into the water.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, the front fountain was still on.

Back with Steven, he finished cleaning off the food off his fur before rubbing his eyes. "Ugh... Finally. That's the last of it. That was too close though. Good thing the platter covered her vision from fully seeing me. Now back to finding Cream and Cheese..." Steven says until he and Cream accidentally bumped into each other. "Oh!" Cream says as she turns around to see Steven. "Huh? Cream, I told you and Cheese not to wander off by yourselves" Steven says, "I'm sorry, but I wanted to explore more" Cream says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says and Steven sigh. "Okay, Cream, listen. I'm only saying this because I care about you and Cheese. You can't just go wander off and explore everywhere whenever you feel like it. You never know what could happen if me, Sonic or the others weren't around. You both could either hurt or get kidnapped" Cream says as she started to feel bad. "I know..." Cream says and Cheese felt bad too. "Chao..." Cheese says, "If something were to happen to you two, I would never forgive myself for that, and I'm sure Sonic and the others would say the same. You have to understand that not everything will go your way, Cream. That's now how everything works" Steven says. Steven saw how Cream and Cheese looked before going on his knee and putting his hands on Cream's shoulders. "Hey. Listen. Don't take it too personally. I'm just looking out for you's and everyone else's safety. I want what's best for the both of you. So can you both promise not to wander off again?" Steven asked with a smile on his face while petting Cheese's head. After a few seconds, Cream and Cheese felt better. "Okay, Steven. I promise to not wander off again" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "Thank you, guys. Now let's go before someone sees us" Steven says as they walk in the hallways.

In Lindsey's room, Lindsey was putting on her ear rings as she was almost ready for the party. "This should do... at least for my entrance." Lindsey says before the phone rang, "Interruptions" Lindsey says before answering the phone. "Hello?" Lindsey asked before gasping. "What's that? The starring role?" Lindsey says before standing up from her chair. "Oh… actually, I'm having a little party for my son tonight. I'm afraid I'll have to leave tomorrow morning" Lindsey says as she didn't notice Steven, Cream and Cheese passing by. Cream and Cheese stop and listen, causing Steven to stop and look. "Oh, I didn't realize. We have to shoot on location first thing tomorrow morning? I know. You can't put a 100-million production on hold for a party. I'll leave immediately. Goodbye." Lindsey says off screen before she hangs up the phone and then starts to feel sad with her eyes watery, causing the brightness to lower a bit. "Hmm. Why does it always have to happen this way? I don't even have time to spend with my little boy. I may be a great actress, but I'm a terrible mother. Please forgive me, Christopher." Lindsey says as she covers her face and sobs. "Hmm" Cream says as she and Cheese felt bad for Lindsey. Steven saw this and sigh in sadness. "Wherever she is, my mother's probably feeling the same way..."Steven says in his head. "Come on. Let's go" Steven says before he, Cream and Cheese continue walking through the hallway.

Back with Sonic, he continued running on the mountains before stoping as he noticed something. Sonic looks down to see Peace Park. "Yeah!" Sonic says before running to Peace Park. Sonic then picks a flower up and sniffs it. "Mmm" Sonic says as he likes the smell.

Back with Chris in the Thorndyke Mansion, he was still looking for Cream and Cheese. "Cream, where are you? Hey, Cheese? Ah! Maybe they went back to the lab with Steven and Grandpa." Chris says.

Back in the living room, Chris enters the room before leaving to the outside door before closing the door. "Chris! Ohh!" Ella says as she enters the living room and looks around. "Oh, the poor boy. Oh, dear." Ella says.

Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, Lindsey was ready to leave as Mr. Tanaka was packing Lindsey's stuff in the trunk of her limousine and closes it. Ella then steps outside. "Ma'am, I've looked all over, but I'm afraid I couldn't find Chris anywhere." Ella says, "Ella, please tell Christopher how sorry I am, and apologize to Mr. Stewart and my brother." Lindsey says, "They'll understand. You take care, Mrs. Thorndyke." Ella says, "Call me if Chris needs anything." Lindsey says, "Certainly, Mrs. Thorndyke." Mr. Tanaka says as he bows and Lindsey gets in the Limousine. The Limousine then drives off the property with Mr. Tanaka and Ella watching.

Back with Chris, he opens the door to the garage and enters

Inside Chuck's room, Chris enters. "Cream!? Cheese!?" Chris asked as he looks around. "Hmm?" Amy asked as she stopped reading her magazine that said World Waker. "Huh?" Chuck asked as he stopped writing on a paper. Tails, Amy and Chuck look at Chris in confusion. "What?! They're not here?" Chris asked, "Weren't they with you and Steven?" Chuck asked, "They're wandering around someplace, and Mr. Stewart's gonna be here any minute now! What am I gonna do if he sees them!?" Chris asked while holding his head in frustration. "Stay calm. Let's all split up, and each one of us will search a different part of the house until we find them." Chuck says "Okay!" Tails and Amy said and began the search.

Back with Lindsey, Lindsey was still sad for leaving unexpectedly.

In Station Square, Lindsey's limo makes left turn on the street. Then suddenly, Mr. Stewart's car drove straight from the opposite direction.

Inside Mr. Stewart's car was roses in the back. Mr. Stewart then pulls out a chip with a speaker and a red light on it. It shined a bit.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, Mr. Stewart's car pulls up in front of the Thorndyke Mansion. Mr. Stewart gets out and steps to the front door while holding the roses. Mr. Stewart then rings the door. Mr. Tanaka then answers the door. "I'm Chris's homeroom teacher, Mr. Stewart." Mr. Stewart says, "Welcome, sir. We've been expecting you." Mr. Tanaka says and Chris steps out. "Hi, come in" Chris says, "How are ya, Chris?" Mr. Stewart asked as he waved.

Back with Steven, Cream and Cheese, they opened the door from the living room and step out. Cream and Cheese then see Chris at the front door. "There's Chris!" Cream says as she and Cheese were about to run up to Chris, but was grabbed by Steven. "Wait. Hold on" Steven says as he saw Mr. Tanaka and Mr. Stewart. "That must be Chris's School teacher" Steven says before grabbing Cream and Cheese and taking them back to the living room.

Back in the living room, Cream, Cheese and Steven were about to take the other route upstairs, but Steven saw Ella was about to enter the living. So it looked like there was no way out of the living room. "Great. We're cornered" Steven says, "What do we do now?" Cream asked, "Chao" Cheese says. Steven saw that Ella was getting close, causing Steven to look around in panic. Steven then set his sights on the curtains by an opened window. Steven grabbed Cream and Cheese and brought them behind one of the curtains. "Let's stay here until they leave" Steven says as he whispered, making Cream and Cheese nod their heads. They heard the door open and Steven looks to see Ella and Chris leading Mr. Stewart in the living room. "Sit down" Ella says to Mr. Stewart before Mr. Stewart looks up to the decoration on the hanging light that Cream put up and plays with it. "Do you like it? Mrs. Thorndyke isn't only a great actress, but an artist, too" Ella says as she laughs while Chris felt embarrassed. "Well, It's great. I can't wait to meet Chris's mother and give her my compliments." Mr. Stewart says while Chris sits on the couch. "I'm very sorry, Mr. Stewart, but just before you arrived she was offered an important movie part and she had to leave right away to start filming" Ella says, causing Chris to be shocked. "Argh! No way!" Chris says. Back with Steven, he got nervous again. "Oh oh..." Steven says in his head. "Oh, well, that is too bad. I was really looking forward to meeting her in person. Hmm, I guess I'll offer these to you then." Mr. Stewart says as he hands the roses to Ella. "Oh. Why, thank you, Mr. Stewart. What beautiful roses!" Ella says while Mr. Stewart sits down and puts a hand on Chris's back. "I'll put them in some-Ohh!" Ella says before was cut off by a pottery shattering noise. "That came from outside!" Steven says in his head as he looks through the window.

With Amy, she heard the noise and it caused her to pull a big Japanese scroll downwards.

In the kitchen, Tails was inside a cabinet before opening it. "Hello?" Tails asked as he opened the cabinet door.

Back in the living room, Chris and Ella looked concerned while Mr. Stewart looked interested. "What was that?" Ella asked as she puts the roses down on the living room table and goes up to the window while Chris sits up from the couch and watch Ella. Mr. Stewart stands up and goes up to a panting. "Hmm" Mr. Stewart says as he takes the device out of his pocket. The device shined a bit as Mr. Stewart took it out. Steven noticed the shining light before taking a quick peak at Mr. Stewart and the device he was holding. "What's he doing?" Steven asked in his head as he watched. Steven then noticed Ella going to the window where he, Cream and Cheese were before pulling the curtain over them a bit. "I hope she doesn't see us..."Steven says in his head.

Back outside, Ella goes up to the open window. "Ack..ouch!" Chuck says off screen. "Ohh!" Ella says she saw Chuck groan and lay on the grass with broken flower pots all over him. Chuck then quickly gets up before chuckling. "Sorry, Ella! I was just leaning out the window and I fell out and knocked the pots down" Chuck says as he puts his hand behind his head. "I don't know what you think you're up to, but you'd better be on your best behavior because Chris's teacher is here." Ella says, "Oh! I better come in and say hi" Chuck says as he climbs through the window.

Back in the living room, Chris saw Ella helping Chuck in. "Oh, sir, why can't you just use the front door like everybody else?" Ella asked off screen. Chris then sees Steven and Cream's sneakers and shoes sticking out from under the curtain next to Chuck and Ella. "One way in's as good as another." Chuck says off screen and Chris screams. "Aah!" Ella says as she and Chuck look at Chris while Mr. Stewart stopped what he was doing and played it cool. Steven closed his eyes as he knew him, Cream and Cheese were caught by Chris. "What's the matter, Chris?! Why did you scream?!" Ella asked, "Uh… Uh… It's nothing!" Chris says as he sits back on the couch while putting his arms behind his back. "Well, my, this certainly is an extraordinary painting!" Mr. Stewart says not really paying attention to the painting. Steven sighed in relief while Cream and Cheese looked nervous. Cream and Cheese then let out a squeak, getting Steven's attention as they look out the window to see Sonic on a branch holding flowers. Sonic waves at them while Steven waves back at him. Sonic points in another direction before jumping off the branch. "Thanks, Sonic!" Cream says from the curtains. "Aaah!" Chris, Ella and Chuck said at the same time as they heard Cream while Cream and Cheese were about to exit the curtain. "No! Cream, Cheese don't..." Steven says in his head as he tried to pull Cream back, but Cream continued walking out and Chris, Chuck and Ella look at Cream. "Guess what? Sonic went out and picked a whole bunch of pretty flowers just for me!" Cream says as Ella picks up Cream by the shirt, Chris panics a bit and Chuck facepalms. Steven saw this with his eyes widened. "We've been caught..." Steven says in his head before pulling the whole curtain over him. "You can have some too if you want." Cream says, "No, I can't- Is this little animal talking!?" Ella asked, "Talking animals. What a joke!" Chuck says and Mr. Tanaka appears behind him. "Yes, that's some joke." Mr. Tanaka says, "Hmm, love this painting!" Mr. Stewart says. Steven sighs as he heard Mr. Stewart. "Okay, we all heard you the first time"Steven says in his head. "Thanks for finding my stuffed animal toy for me, Ella. Can I have it back now?" Chris asked, taking Cream and Cheese away from Ella and chuckling nervously. "Toy?! Look, I heard that thing talking and nobody is going to convince me otherwise." Ella says, "Pretend you're a toy!" Chris says, "If this is some kind of a joke you're playing, then you better quit before I do." Ella says, "Hey, hey!" Sam says off screen, getting everyone in the living room's attention. Steven heard the voice and it sounded very familiar. "That voice... It sounds familiar..."Steven says in his head. Sam then enters the living room. "Ha, ha! Hey, where's the party?" Sam asked. Steven took a quick peek and gasped to see Sam. "It's him! It's that racer me and Sonic met the night we came into this world" Steven says in his head. "Uncle Sam, this is my teacher, Mr. Stewart." Chris says, "A pleasure. I understand you're involved in the Highway Patrol somehow." Mr. Stewart says as he and Sam shook hands. "Well, I don't like to brag, but I'm the leader of the S Team." Sam says, "That statement is only half correct." Chuck says, "Really?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Hmm" Sam says, "My uncle drives fast. No other driver's quick enough to catch him. That's why he's called the Speed King. You came up with the name yourself, didn't you?" Chris asked, "Sure. A little self-promotion never hurt anybody." Sam says before he laughs, "Let's cut the chit-chat and get this party moving. It's too slow." Sam says, "And your mouth is too fast." Ella says as Chris laughs nervously and Sam sits down on a stool. "Ha, I can't help it that I like speed! I've always been fast! I even beat the doctor to the delivery room.!I was the only kid in town who had a five-speed transmission in my baby carriage!" Sam says, "Uh?" Mr. Stewart asked in confusion, "I admit it. I like living in the fast lane. Even when I'm in the supermarket, no matter how many items I have, I use the express checkout. I can't even walk my dog, I make him run." Sam says and laughs off screen and everyone in the room except Mr. Stewart, Cream and Cheese thought he was bragging. Steve even rolled his eyes. "Oh boy..." Steven says in his head. Sam stops laughing and puts a serious face on. "...There's only two guys who're faster." Sam says, "Oh no..." Steven says in his head.

The flashback shows Sam activating his super nitro engine that blast his car like a Rocket. Sam then sees Sonic and Steven run past him with Double Boost before doing a big jump at the roadblock.

Back to reality, Steven was looking nervous. "He's talking about me and Sonic..." Steven says in his head. "I never saw anything move that fast. But don't you worry, I'll catch up to them someday." Sam says, "Really? What did they look like?" Mr. Stewart asked, "It's weird, but they looked like hedgehogs, one blue and one brown. They both even had spike- Huh?" Sam asked as as he saw Sonic waving at him with a smile on his face. Steven saw Sonic and chuckled quietly. "Hey! There's the blue one!" Sam says, "Huh?" Chris, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka asked as they turn around to see Sonic leaving in an instant and act like there was nothing there while Ella was the last to look. "There! Did you see!? It was one of the hedgehogs I was talking about! The blue one! And if that one's here, then the other is around here too!" Sam says as he looks around. Steven smiled nervously as he did his best not to laugh. "No I'm not...!" Steven says in his head. "Sorry, I was just admiring this painting" Mr. Stewart says as he looked at the same picture from before. Steven's smile then change to annoyance. "Okay, we get it. It's a nice painting. Thank you for telling us the third time" Steven says in his head. "I didn't see anything, did you?" Chuck asked, "Perhaps your eyes were playing tricks on you, sir" Mr. Tanaka says, "But I'm telling you, I saw it. You saw it, too, Chris, didn't you?" Sam asked, "Unh-unh" Chris says as he shook his head while Sam rubs his eyes in frustration. "I saw it. My eyes don't lie. That thing waved at me and ran off" Sam says as he crossed his arms and closes his eyes. "You know, they thought I was crazy, too, when I heard that animal talking" Ella says as she went up to Sam. "Animal talking? Well, I didn't hear it say anything, but I'm sure it could understand what I said. We both saw the same creature. That proves that I'm not crazy." Sam says as he crosses his arms again with a smile on his face. "The animal I heard is over there" Ella says while pointing and Sam opens his eyes in confusion. "You know, I'm sorry Mom can't be here for the party, but she got a phone call and had to leave to make a movie. I was pretty mad. I was pretty mad. Mr. Stewart was looking forward to meeting her, but she went away before he even got here. That was pretty rude, huh?" Chris asked, "Chris, your misunderstood..."Steven says in his head. "Well, that sounds like my sister, all right." Sam says off screen as Cream and Cheese remember how bad Lindsey felt.

Another flashback shows Lindsey sobbing in her room. "Please forgive me, Christopher!" Lindsey says as she cries and the flashback ends.

Back to reality, Cream and Cheese were upset that they jumped out of Chris' arms. "You're wrong! Your mom felt very badly that she had to go, and she tried to find you to say goodbye. How could you say anything about your mother like that! You're lucky you get to talk to your mom all the time on the phone. I can't do that! I hate you! I HATE YOU!" Cream says and sobs before running to the door. "Chao! Chao!" Cheese says before they leave the living room. "Huh?" Ella, Sam, Mr. Stewart, Chris, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka asked in confusion while Steven saw this and looked shock before giving a sad look. "Well, I hope you enjoyed that. I've been rehearsing my ventriloquism act for weeks now, and if I do say so myself, I'm not half bad..." Mr. Tanaka says before letting out a small cough. "Oh, yes, this painting is stunning!" Mr. Stewart says. After that was heard, Steven was about to say something out loud, but stopped as he heard another door open to reveal Tails and Amy running in. "Cream!" Tails says, "Come here, Cream!" Amy says before they run outside and leave the living room. "Whoa! I did not see that coming!" Steven says in his head. Ella looked like she was ready to pass out. "I'm seeing more of them now!" Ella says as she puts her hand on her head. "Hey, Ella! Would you care to dance?" Chuck asked as he grabbed Ella. "Ohh!" Ella says before Chuck brings her dancing. "Well, Uncle Sam!" Chris says off screen, getting Sam's attention. "I hope you come and visit me again." Chris says, "Yeah, but you know me, Chris. It'll have to be a quick visit." Sam says as he and Chris share a laugh. "I guess I've seen and heard enough. Hmm" Mr. Stewart says as he looks at the device in his hand and puts it back in his pocket while looking un-satisfied. "Finally...!"Steven says in his head before letting out a quiet sigh. Chuck was making Ella dance all around and Ella was getting dizzy. Steven then chuckled quietly as he saw that. "Okay, that lightened my mood a bit..." Steven says in his head. Mr. Stewart then goes up to Chris. "Chris, I'd better get going. I have homework to grade. Please give your mother my regards and tell her I hope we get to meet soon." Mr. Stewart says before leaving the room. "I'm sorry, Mr. Stewart" Chris says as he and Sam watch Mr. Stewart leave. Steven saw Mr. Stewart leave the room and took the chance to get out by the window.

Back outside, Steven lands on the grass and stretches. "Ugh! Finally again! It felt so cramped just standing there hiding like a statue. Now I see why Tails and Amy didn't like their train ride to Silver Valley that day..." Steven says as he stretches, but then he realized something. "Wait a minute? That's right! Oh no! Cream! I have to find her!" Steven says as he was about to run to the garage, but stopped as he heard the sound of a gate opening.

The gate to the Thorndyke Mansion opens and Mr. Stewart drives off the property. Sam was inside his car while Mr. Tanaka, Chuck and Chris watch him. "Later, boys. See you in my rear-view mirror." Sam says as he drives off the property with Mr. Tanaka bowing.

Back with Steven, he sees the gate closing before looking at the living room to see Chris, Mr. Tanaka and Chuck entering.

Back inside the Thorndyke Mansion, Chris then sighs in relief as he, Mr. Tanaka and Chuck enter the living room. "Huh?" Chris asked as he, Mr. Tanaka and Chuck notice Ella on the couch with the roses on her lap looking stressed. "Oh, dear. I'm working too hard. I'm seeing and hearing things." Ella says, "Mr. Chris, would it not be wise to let Ella in on your little secret, too?" Mr. Tanaka asked, "He's right. Things would be a lot easier if she were in on it, too." Chuck says, "Sure. Okay" Chris says before they walk up to Ella. "Hey, Ella? Listen, it's like this…" Chris says as he tells her the truth.

Back with Steven, he saw what they were talking about. "Looks like we'll finally be in the clear now. Now to take care of one last thing..."Steven says in his head before he runs off.

At the garage, Steven opens the side door and enters.

Back in Chuck's room, Steven enters the room to see Cream sitting on the bed crying while Tails, Amy and Cheese sat with her and tried their best to comfort her. Sonic was standing and looking at them while thinking. Steven then walks up to Sonic. "Hey, Sonic. How is she?" Steven asked, "We're trying to make her feel better, but she's still upset" Sonic says. Steven then tried to think of something. After a few seconds, Steven thought of an idea. "I think I know what to do" Steven says, "Wanna share it with me?" Sonic asked. Steven nodded his head and whispered the plan to Sonic. "Are you sure, Steven? You don't have to if you don't want to" Sonic says, "Don't worry, it's fine. Besides, it's time for everyone else to know anyway" Steven says, "Okay, Steven. Go ahead" Sonic says as Steven went up to Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese. "Tails. Amy. Cream and Cheese. There's something I would like to tell you all" Steven says, causing Tails and Amy to look at him. "What is it, Steven?" Tails asked, "I'll tell you, but first, I want to talk to Cream" Steven says, causing Amy, Tails and Cheese to look surprised. Tails, Amy and Cheese then look at Sonic who was nodding his head. Amy, Tails and Cheese get up from the bed and go next to Sonic. "Take it easy on her, Steven" Amy says, "I will" Steven says before he sits on the bed and gives Cream a side hug. "Cream? Cream, what's wrong...?" Steven asked softly. Cream sniffs and looks at Steven with teary eyes. "You saw and heard what I said... Right, Steven...?" Cream asked, "Mhmm" Steven says as he nodded. "Well... When I heard Chris talk bad about his mom, it made me upset that he would say those things about her... But what really made me upset was that he even though he said those things, he can still talk to his mom on the phone and... And... And I can't talk to my mom at all! That's why I said to Chris that I hated it him! I miss my momma, Steven! I really really do!" Cream says as she cried on Steven's side while Steven hugged and rubbed her back to calm her. "Shhh... It's okay, Cream. I understand how you feel. I really do..." Steven says, "You... You do, Steven...?" Cream asked, "Yes and do you want to know why?" Steven asked, "Yes please..." Cream says, "Okay, but first, I want to tell you something else. Listen, I'm sure Chris didn't mean to say those things about his mom. He was probably too upset that he misunderstood the words he said and didn't realize how his mom really felt about this. So I want you to do something for me. Can you do that?" Steven asked, "What... What is it...?" Cream asked, "I want you to do something as of a way to apologize to him for the way you spoke to him. Can you do that for me?" Steven asked, "Okay... I can do that" Cream says as she sniffs a bit. "Good. Now you wanted to know why I understood how you felt, right?" Steven asked, "Yes" Cream says, "Okay, I'll tell you, but not only to you, but to Amy, Tails and Cheese as well" Steven says and Tails, Amy and Cheese were confused while Sonic watched and listened. "Guys, what I'm about to tell you is something unbelievable so I hope you all understand when I tell you. Sonic already knows and I believe it's time for the rest of you to know" Steven says before he takes a deep breath. "Guys, you all may think I grew up as I regular citizen in our world, but that's not the case with me" Steven says and Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were confused. "The truth is... I'm a lone survivor" Steven says, causing Cream, Amy, Tails and Cheese to look surprised while Sonic continues to listen. "A lone survivor?" Amy asked, "That's right" Steven says, "Does that mean... You lived and grew up alone...?" Cream asked, "Chao" Cheese says and Steven sighs. "Yes..." Steven says, "What do you mean you grew up alone?" Tails asked, "I've been living on my own ever since I was a baby Hedgehog without any support" Steven says, "...Alone...?" Cream asked as she felt bad. "Wait a minute. You don't know your own parents, then?" Amy asked, "Nope" Steven says as he shook his head. "So what you're telling us is that you're a surviving Hedgehog that's been living all alone all his life?" Amy asked, "Thats right. I didn't have my parents with me as I grew up. In fact, I don't even know my own parents. I had no one watching or supporting me. I supported myself for my whole life. It was really difficult at first, but after awhile, I got used to it without any problems" Steven says, "But Steven-Well... Well not to sound rude or anything, but how are you still alive then. There's no way anyone can survive the outside world without care and support. I'm sorry if that offended you" Tails says, "No, it's okay, Tails. I understand what you're saying, but to tell you the truth, I don't know. I don't know how, but for some reason I managed too survive. I can't even remember how it all happened. It was really really far back. But I'm just glad that I did learn how to survive at a young age or else I wouldn't even be around now" Steven says, "Where have you been living then?" Amy asked, "At an open field area around the forest in Green Hills. I've been staying there my whole life until Chaos Control took place" Steven says, "Do you at least remember how you were dropped off there, Steven?" Tails asked, "Nope. Like I said, it was really far back. It'll always be a mystery to me until time will tell" Steven says. Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese then felt bad for Steven. "That really is unbelievable, but also sad at the same time" Tails says, "I'm sorry you had to go through all that all by yourself, Steven" Amy says, "Someone could have taken you in" Cheese says, "Chao" Cheese says, "It's okay, guys. I'm just glad that I'm still around" Steven says, "One more question. If all this is true, is your name really Steven then?" Amy asked. Steven sighs as he heard the question. "No. Steven's not my real name" Steven says, "How did you get that name?" Tails asked, "Sonic gave me the name "Steven" and I thought it sounded nice to me. So I decided to call myself Steven. Besides, it's better to have a name and be called someone than to not know your actual name and be called nothing" Steven says, "That's true" Tails says, "I think the name "Steven" is a good name for you, Steven" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "Yeah. Even if it isn't your actually name, you're a Steven to your friends, Steven" Amy says, "Thanks, guys. I'm glad you accept my non-official name. So Anyway, as I was saying about how I was a lone survivor. At first I didn't mind that I was alone when I was living by myself for awhile, but I eventually got bored with doing the same things I normally do. I could of made an appearance to the public back in Green Hills, but I didn't because I thought everyone would think I'm a freak if they saw me" Steven says, "I don't think you're a freak, Steven" Cream says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "Yeah, Steven. You're not a freak, you're nothing like a freak, your the opposite of a freak, your a kind hearted Hedgehog that will do anything to help those they care about" Amy says, "Yeah, I think everyone would say the same if they got to know you, Steven" Tails says. After Cream, Cheese, Tails and Amy said their lines, Sonic gave a wink to Steven. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot coming from you. Anyway, If you guys didn't know, I've been watching you all without any of you noticing" Steven says, causing the others including Sonic to look surprised.

A flashback plays of Steven watching Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream and Cheese in action while staying hidden in different places."Everyday, I would see and hear stories about how you guys do your duties as heroes. And every time I heard them, they always make me feel that I could do anything" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continues. "But sometimes I think too big that I feel that one day I would join you all on adventures, but sometimes dreams are just too good to be true. I also didn't have the guts and the bravery to face something that takes extreme action. That's why I've been secluded from everyone back in Green Hills. So that I can stay in peace and away from danger" Steven says, this made Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese feel really bad for Steven. "But all of that changed when Chaos Control took place. The time I first met all of you" Steven says, causing Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese to look surprised again. "When I first met you, Sonic, I was a little nervous to be around you, but after I told you everything that I know of about myself, you still considered me a friend even if we only met for a few minutes. When you decided to train me and tell me everything you know about your adventures, it made me feel that I can still do anything, but make it better"Steven says, causing Sonic to smile. "So after I got to know Sonic and the rest of you, my boost of confidence has been increasing every time we're on an adventure in this world. And because of that, it made me have these emotions growing inside me ever since. It started yesterday when Chuck talked about Chris's parents and how lonely Chris felt without them, but when it got to the point where Chris' parents and everybody else got worried for him, I felt that I had to do something. That's why I joined Sonic and came back with Chris. After we watched how happy everyone was, I decided to tell Sonic how I felt. Right after me and Sonic spoke, he understood what I was going through and it helped me see what it was" Steven says before facing Cream. "Now that you all know my backstory, I'll explain how I understood how you feel, Cream. Are you ready?" Steven asked, "Yes..." Cream says, "Now I may not know who or where my parents are, but I'm positive that they're out looking for me just as I'm starting to wonder where they are as well too. I felt the same way like you do, Cream. You're not the only one that feels this way. Everyone feels this way whenever they feel either home sick or if they really love the ones they care about" Steven says, making Cream feel less sad. "Cream, I'll do whatever it takes for you to reunite with your mother one day. Once we find all the seven Chaos Emeralds, we'll cause Chaos Control and you'll see your mother again. I promise" Steven says with a smile. Cream wiped her eyes and then she smiled. "Th-Thank you, Steven. You're the best" Cream says as she hugged Steven. Steven was surprised at first before chuckling and hugging Cream back. "You're welcome, Cream. But if it makes you feel more better, I see you as a little sister since we're almost like a family too" Steven says, "Really?" Cream asked, "Yeah. I see you, Sonic and everybody else so close that you guysare like a family. Even though none of you are related to each other, you still have a strong bond with each other. That's what a call a family of friends" Steven says before turning to Sonic, Tails, Amy and Cheese who looked surprised once again. "You guys agree, right?" Steven asked, "I-I guess so" Tails says while rubbing his head in embarrassment. "I've never thought of that about us that way, but since it's more clear, then we are like a family" Amy says, "Yeah. I see you guys as a family I've never had too. Right, Sonic?" Steven asked, "For sure" Sonic says, "There we go. We are a family and families stick together no matter what. Cream, you'll always have us by your side until the very end. You can count on it" Steven says. Cream was then officially better. "Thank you. Thank you, Steven" Cream says as she hugs Steven again. "You're welcome again, Cream" Steven says as he smiles. Steven looks back at the Sonic, Tails, Amy and Cheese who had smile on their faces. Sonic also gives Steven a thumbs up. Steven gave a thumbs up back as a way knowing that everything was gonna be alright now.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, it was night time. "So the only nutty thing in my kitchen is my pecan pie. What a relief!" Ella says off screen.

Back inside the kitchen, Cream, Cheese and Steven were helping Ella in the kitchen while Ella was mixing a soup pot. "I'm so happy that you don't have to hide from me anymore, sweeties. You're both so wonderful" Ella says, "Yeah! We could all be friends and I could help you out in the kitchen" Cream says, "If you liked, I can help you around the mansion for cleaning too" Steven says. This made Ella have tears in her eyes. "You both are such dears. I'm sure both your parents miss you both terribly, sweeties. I never would have imagined a child to grow up without his mother and father. You're too wonderful and pure to grow up without parents. I hope your parents do find you because you deserve to be loved" Ella says while sobbing. Cream's eyes then shined. "Please don't worry. Sonic and our friends will find a way back home, and you can take care of us till then." Cream says, "She's right, Ella. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to help everyone get back home real soon. You can count on us" Steven says. Ella then turns her head to Cream and Steven while wiping a tear form her eye. "I will, you two. I will" Ella says, "Thank you, Ella..." Cream says, "Chao" Cheese says, "Yes. Thank you" Steven says as Sonic and Chris were watching and listening from the door way. "Now that Ella knows we're here, we can have the run of this place" Sonic says. "Sure. Uh… Ohh…" Chris says as he felt sad before stepping away from Sonic, "Huh? Chris?" Sonic asked as he follows him. Steven saw how sad Chris looked and decided to see what's wrong. "I'll be back, guys. I have to take care of one last thing" Steven says before leaving the kitchen.

Back in Chris' room, Chris was sitting on his bed while Sonic opens the door to Chris's room. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he looks to see Chris before walking up to him. "What's wrong? Why are you sad?" Sonic asked before Steven walks in. "Chris?" Steven asked, "I didn't mean it when I complained about my mom missing the party, but Cream got really angry. I didn't even think about how bad she misses her mother. I just hope she doesn't stay mad at me" Chris says, "Don't worry. It'll be okay!" Sonic says as he winks. "Sonic's right, Chris. I spoke to Cream about this and she understands and forgives you" Steven says, "She does?" Chris asked in surprise until they hear Cream humming off screen. "Hmm?" Sonic asked as Cream walks in with three flower crowns in her hands. "Hello, Chris" Cream says as she makes her way to Chris while Chris gets up from his bed. "I made this specially for you! Do you want to put it on?" Cream asked while holding a flower crown. "Ah" Chris says as he bows down and let's Cream put it on his head. "Wow, thank you" Chris says, "You can wear it to school and tell all your friends that I made it for you" Cream says before facing Steven. "I also made one for you, Steven" Cream says as she shows Steven the other flower crown. "You made one for me too?" Steven asked, "Yes. After that talk you gave me, I thought you'd deserve it" Cream says, "Then I'll let you do the honors" Steven says as he bents down Cream puts it on Steven's head. "Thank you, Cream" Steven says, "I made these from the flowers Sonic gathered. Now I'm gonna go give Ella her flowers!" Cream says and giggles as she leaves the room. "Way to go, guys!" Sonic says as he patted Chris' and Steven's backs. "Cream will only give her flower crowns to the people who she really likes a lot, like you guys" Sonic says, "Really? D'ya think she likes me?" Chris asked, "You bet" Sonic says as he gives Chris a thumbs up. "Did you get one too, Sonic?" Steven asked, "Of course!" Sonic says.

Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, a window was lighted up.

Back inside the kitchen, Cream was putting a flower Crown on Ella's head. Amy, Steven, Chuck and Tails than clap and cheer. "Great!" Chuck says. Ella then hugs Cream and Cheese and laughs. "I'll do whatever it takes to make my friends happy and help them the rest of the way"Steven says in his head as his promise to help everyone will make a big achievement in his life one day.

Fu-tu-re (ミ・ラ・イ, Mi-ra-i)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! Dr. Eggman's released a new robot named E-90 Super Sweeper all the way out in the sky and vacuum man-made satellites. What he didn't know was that he was being monitored by the military. Meanwhile as I was learning a few things at the Thorndyke Residence, Cream and Cheese's show on TV suddenly turned off. We tried getting it back on for them, but everything we tried didn't make a difference. I figured Dr. Eggman was causing this so Sonic and Tails decided to put a stop to him. But when they got back, they didn't succeed. It seems that Tails' Tornado 2 isn't strong enough to put a stop to that big robot. So the only way we can win this battle now is to give the Tornado plane a new makeover! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Emergency Launch! X-Tornado" ("Satellite Swindle"). Let's fly!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
