Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog

Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

10. Episode 9

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

A slideshow shows a beach called Emerald Coast. People were in the water, sunbathing, and sitting on their towels. "The new Emerald Coast Resort sounds like the perfect place to get away from it all" Amy says off screen before it shows a man on a tanning float and another one on a boat fishing. "You can hang out at the beach, or float in the crystal-clear ocean all day long, then dine as you watch a spectacular sunset" Amy says off screen as it showed a couple sitting down and drinking tropical drinks with a sunset behind them.

Inside the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Amy had her eyes closed as she thought of how the day would turn out. "It sounds absolutely romantic. I wish we were going to the opening party." Amy says as Steven, Chris, Tails, Cream and Cheese were packing and putting their supplies in the X Tornado while Sonic was sleeping on the side. "We'll have fun at the Thorndyke's villa. Are you ready to go, Cheese?" Cream asked, "Chao, chao" Cheese says, "I'm ready too, guys. My flight plan will take us right to the Emerald Coast." Tails says, "Be careful, Tails, and try not to let anybody see you" Chris says, "They won't have a problem as long as they stay on the grounds of the villa" Chuck says, "I've never been to a beach before" Steven says, "You haven't, Steven?" Chris asked, "No, Chris. Back home, the only water area I go to is pond areas where I fish" Steven says, "Well the beach has lots of water and sand to play around in. I think you'll find it enjoyable once you get there" Chuck says, "Probably..." Steven says, "Maybe I can find somewhere to train there..." Steven says in his head while Sonic snores. "I wish I could hang out with them instead of going to the resort opening" Chris says off screen while holding an invitation for the opening of Hotel de Blanc. "I know, but your mother can't make it, so she needs you to go in her place. You won't have to stay long, and after, you can join the others at the villa." Chuck says, "That's great, I can give you a swimming lesson, Sonic" Chris says, causing Sonic to open his eyes a bit. "You guys go on without me. I'm gonna stay right here" Sonic says, causing the others to look surprised. "Huh?" Chris asked, "Huh?" Cream asked, "Sonic, you mean you're not coming with us?" Amy asked as she puts her hands on her hips. "That's right" Sonic says as he jumps down, startling Amy a bit. "Are you sure, Sonic?" Steven asked, "Yep. Have fun, I gotta run" Sonic says before he leaves the garage.

Outside the garage, Sonic makes his way out of the Thorndyke Mansion property.

Back in the garage, everyone watched Sonic leave. "There he goes" Steven says, "That's weird. I wonder why Sonic doesn't want to go to the Emerald Coast with us." Chris says, "It must be because Sonic hates water" Amy says, "Sonic doesn't like water?" Steven asked.

In Station Square, Sonic was still running. "That's right, Steven. He won't come near the ocean because he can't swim" Amy says off screen.

Back at the garage, Chris then remembers a memory.

In Chris' memory, it showed Sonic and Steven out the pool while coughing out the extra water they had in their mouth and Chris patting their backs.

Back in reality, Chris remembers. "I forgot that" Chris says as he rubbed the back of his head. "That's right..." Steven says in his head.

In Steven's memory, it showed Steven gasped out for air before panting as he came out of the big pool. Steven looked down to see Sonic just sitting underwater while holding his breath. Steven went back underwater and Sonic brings his hand grabs Sonic's hand and tried to swim back up to surface, but was struggling due to holding onto Sonic and holding in air.

Back to reality, Steven remembers as well. "I remember now. Sonic struggled when he tried to swim up so I tried to help him, but he was too heavy for me to bring him up to surface. I was afraid we were gonna drown..." Steven says, "But Sonic doesn't have to swim. He could go running on the beach." Tails says, "It's not gonna be as much fun without Sonic" Amy says, "I know, but I'm sure we'll make the best of it" Steven says, "Hmm" Chris says before a car horn was heard, getting his attention. "Mr. Chris! We have to leave now or you'll be late for the ceremony!" Ella says as she and Mr. Tanaka were in a car outside of the garage. "Have a great time, Chris" Chuck says and Chris nods his head. "We'll meet up later" Chris says, "Okay. Don't be long" Amy says, "See you there" Tails says, "Chao, chao, chao" Cheese says, "And don't be nervous, Chris, That opening party will be just fine" Amy says. "Uh, yeah" Chris says as he laughs nervously. "It'll be just fine, Chris. After the party, we'll have a whole day to have fun, right?" Steven asked, "Hmm. Right" Chris says. Tails then realized something. "Uh I think we might have a problem" Tails says, causing the others to look at him. "What's wrong?" Amy asked, "The last seat is taken from the supplies were bringing at the villa so Steven might not join us in the X Tornado" Tails says, "Oh no. What can we do?" Cream asked and Cheese chirps. "It's okay, I'll go there on foot" Steven says, "Are you sure, Steven?" Chris asked, "Yeah, it's fine. After all" Steven says before leaving the garage. After a few seconds, Steven came back with the map he borrowed to get to Silver Valley. "I still have the map you gave me" Steven says as he showed the map to Chris. "Oh yeah, that's right" Chris says, "Okay, I'll meet you all over there" Steven says, "Alright, we'll be waiting" Tails says, "Try not to get spotted while heading there, Steven" Chuck says, "I will. See ya" Steven says before he leaves the garage.

Back outside, Steven looks at the map. "Okay, Emerald Coast... Thorndyke villa... Ah. There it is. Okay, here I go" Steven says before he used his wrist mounted grapple gun and made his way off the Thorndyke Mansion Property.

Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were in the X Tornado and were about to take off as they parked on the runway. The wings on the X Tornado got in position. Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese got ready.

Back at the garage, Chuck presses a button on the remote.

Back outside the palm trees cleared the runway. "Next stop, Emerald Coast. Hang on" Tails says and the X Tornado drives on the runway while everyone feels the speed in their faces. "Here we go!" Tails says as he pulls the joysticks and the X Tornado flies in the sky with the palm trees shaking from the wind.

In the skies, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese look down to see the ground.

Back outside of the garage, Chuck watches them leave. "Hang in there, Chris" Chuck says in his head.

On the road, Mr. Tanaka, Ella and Chris were on their way to the opening party. "Huh?" Chris asked as he saw the X Tornado fly past them and smiles. "Master Chris, remember that you are representing the Thorndyke family on this trip." Mr. Tanaka says, "I'll do my best, Mr. Tanaka." Chris says.

At an open field, a hawk was flying in the sky while Sonic was laying down on the grass with flowers around him. Sonic was looking up at the sky and then takes a flower and smells it. "Who needs the ocean?" Sonic asked as he continues to relax.

Amy on the Beach (The Last Resort)

Steven landed at the back of the Thorndyke villa. "This must be the Thorndyke villa" Steven says before going down the stairs. After he reached the end, Steven looked at the surroundings of the Emerald Coast beach. "Phew!" Steven says before wiping his head. "It's really dry out here. Maybe the water will cool me down a bit" Steven says

At Emerald Coast, the waves were crashing while people were in the water, sunbathing, and sitting on their towels not far from the Hotel de Blanc opening.

On the other side of the Hotel de Blanc was the Thorndyke villa. The X-Tornado was parked at the back and Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were laughing and having fun in the water. Cream was playing with Cheese who was in a donut float while Tails was using his tails and hands to splash them a bit.

Underwater, some fish were swimming around and scattered as Amy was swimming around the coral reef.

Back up to surface, a sequel flies around and Amy pops out the water, Amy then takes her goggles off. "This place is unbelievable!" Amy says, "It sure is, Amy. I'm really glad we came" Tails says, "And we'll have even more fun when Chris gets here" Cream says, "Speaking of that, Steven should be arriving by now" Tails says before they all continue to laugh. At the back of the Thorndyke villa, Steven arrived before he stopped running. "Here it is. The Thorndyke villa" Steven says before rolling up the map. Steven enters the villa and makes his way on the balcony. Steven then wipes his head. "Phew! It's really dry out here. Maybe the water will cool me down a bit. Still, this place really looks nice" Steven says as he looked at the whole Emerald Coast. Amy then notices Steven on the balcony. "Hey, Steven! Come join us! Hurry up!" Amy says off screen, "Yeah! Come in! The waters just fine!" Cream says off screen, "Chao!" Cheese says. Steven looks up and sees the others calling for him. "Okay, I'm coming, guys" Steven says before he takes his gloves and shoes off. Steven places them down and makes his down the steps. Steven slowed down as he felt the sand. "Woah... the sand is so hot... And it gets warmer every-time I get closer towards the water" Steven says before he felt the water hitting his feet. "Ooohhh... So cool" Steven says as he had his eyes closed and sighs. Steven opens his eyes and started going in the water. As Steven took a step on the sand in the water, he shouted in pain. Steven looks down at his feet and saw he stepped on shells. "Ow..." Steven says before rubbing his feet. Steven then fully got in the water. Steven started swimming towards Amy, Tails, Cream and Cheese. "How's the water?" Tails asked, "It's..." Steven says before he took a sniff of the water. As Steven sniffed it, he then coughed a bit before turning away from Amy, Tails, Cream and Cheese. "What's wrong?" Amy asked before Steven stops coughing. "Well as I fully stepped in the water, I realized a few things. A. I just stepped on sharp shells on the way in, B. Salt water stinks, and C. The beach is a lot different than from what I'm used to" Steven says, "Don't worry Steven. You just have to get used to it that's all. I'm sure it'll feel the same when you're fully used to it" Tails says, "You're right. Maybe a short swim can help" Steven says before he swims around. As Steven swam, he was trying to see how he can get stronger and faster while swimming. Steven tried different attempts, but they weren't satisfiying. Cream, Cheese, Amy and Tails noticed Steven struggling as he splashed a bit. "What's wrong, Steven?" Amy asked, "I'm trying to see how I can swim faster, but I'm having a little trouble" Steven says as he floated. "You want to swim faster in water?" Tails asked, "Yeah, because in case if something happens and I would need to swim, I would have the advantage for it. I want make sure I'm ready for anything" Steven says, "That's a great idea, Steven" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "Yes, but I don't know how to do it" Steven says off screen, "I'm sure you'll come up with something, Steven" Tails says off screen while Amy thinks. "I know! Steven, I'll help you" Amy says as she swims towards Steven. "It's okay, Amy, you don't have to..." Steven says until Amy grabs Steven's hand. "Don't worry, we'll learn together" Amy says as they started swimming deeper in the water. Steven got nervous as he saw how deep the water was getting. Amy then noticed Steven's reaction. "You've never went this deep in the water back home, did you, Steven?" Amy asked, "Nope..." Steven says, "Don't worry, I've got you. We're almost there" Amy says as they continue their way.

When they were at a deep point, they stopped swimming and Amy lets go of Steven's hand. "Right here is good" Amy says, "This is really deep..." Steven says as he looked below his feet. "Okay, Steven. I'm gonna first teach you how to swim underwater" Amy says, "Underwater? Okay then" Steven says, "But before we get into that, there's something you should know" Amy says, "Oh, okay then" Steven says, "Now listen. If you're ever scared of water at a point where you think you'll drown and you try to fight against any flow, then the chances that'll happen will increase if you do" Amy says off screen, causing Steven to panic a bit. "However, when there's a will, there's a way and there's a way you can avoid all of it. If you just relax and go with the flow on any current, then you won't have anything to worry about. Now let's give it a try by those waves" Amy says, "Huh?" Steven asked as he and Amy saw a few waves crashing a bit.

As Amy brings Steven towards the waves, Steven was still nervous. "Remember what I said. Relax and go with the flow" Amy says, "I'll try..." Steven says as he relaxed, closed his eyes and sighs. Amy let's go of Steven's hand and swims away from him. After a few seconds, Steven opened his eyes and saw Amy putting her goggles on. Amy waved at Steven before going underwater. "Okay, I've got to do this..." Steven says as he relaxed. Steven holds his breath, closes his eyes and went underwater.

Back underwater, Steven started swimming slowly and calmly. "Okay, nice and slowly... But I need to see where I'm going..."Steven says in his head before opening his eyes slowly. Steven's eyes were blurry a bit before they became clear to him. "Wow... I can see everything now... Now let's see if I can master it..."Steven says in his head as he continued swimming. After a few seconds, Steven was enjoying swimming underwater. "Wow. Now I feel so relaxed that I can swim freely without any problems. This is amazing. I can even swim along with the fish. This is so relaxing..."Steven says in his head as he saw some fish swimming next to him. Steven then saw Amy next to him and waved. Amy smiled and waved back before they went make their way back to surface.

Back to surface, Steven coughs a bit of water while Amy takes her goggles off. "Amy, that was amazing. I saw everything and I felt so relaxed. I didn't have any problems. It was amazing" Steven says, "That's good, Steven. Now do you want to learn the new way how to swim while breath?" Amy asked, "Swim while breathing? Sure!" Steven says, "Okay" Amy says before getting into a freestyle swimming position. "Whenever your swimming and need to take a breath, turn your head to the side like this to breath. It's called freestyle swimming" Amy says, "Okay, I think I can do that" Steven says, "Let's get started. Get in position" Amy says and Steven put his head underwater. After a few seconds, Steven came out and coughed a bit. "Steven. Never inhale underwater. Exhale instead. Just breath out. Not in" Amy says, "But if I do that, wouldn't I run out of air?" Steven asked, "You won't if you do it how I showed you" Amy says, "Okay, here I go..." Steven says as he took a deep breath and put his head underwater. Steven popped his out sideways and kept doing it. "She's right. It's working. I can breath and swim all together!"Steven says in his head. Steven then started to swim as he kept his head underwater and brought his head out sideways. "That's it. You got it" Amy says, "Alright. I won't have to worry anymore" Steven says before he looks at Amy. "It's not hard once you get the hang of it. That's the same way I was taught how to swim when I was young" Amy says,"Wow. Amy really knows how to save a person's life. It's like she's an expert at these things..." Steven says and continues practicing swimming. "Good job. Now you've learned the basics of swimming. You have any questions?" Amy asked, "No, I think I'm good" Steven says, "Great. Then you don't have to worry about anything anymore. Anyway, I'm gonna walk around. You can continue swimming if you want" Amy says, "Sure, no problem. Thanks again, Amy" Steven says, "No problem, Steven. I'll see you guys later" Amy says before she steps out the water and walks on the sand. "Hmm... My arms are getting a good work out from this... Maybe if I keep this up, I'll be able to swim faster and get stronger at the same time. Hmm..." Steven says in his head before he looks left and right to see boulders from afar on each side. "Okay, I'll swim back and forth 10 times and go from there..." Steven says in his head before he starts his 10 lap swim.

From afar from the Thorndyke villa, fireworks were going off above the opening of Hotel de Blanc.

Above Hotel de Blanc, the fireworks were still going off.

At Hotel de Blanc, people were dressed fancy and sharp while chatting. Chris was shaking hands with a couple of people. "Chris, say hello" Mr. Tanaka says while whispering before Chris sighs heavily. "Try to look interested" Mr. Tanaka says and Chris focuses while shakes hands with more people.

Back at the Thorndyke villa, Cheese was chirping and jumping around close to the water. Cheese was watching and cheering for Steven as Steven was still doing his laps while Cream and Tails were building a sand hill. "It was really nice of Amy to teach Steven how to swim without any worry" Cream says, "Yeah. If only Sonic would let Amy teach him, then Sonic wouldn't be scared of water like he is now" Tails says, "I'm sure Amy would teach him one day" Cream says, "Maybe..." Tails says. Steven walked out of the water with a huge gasp of air before panting. "Wow... My arms are numb... It's like I can't feel them... But it's a good thing that I'm making progress..." Steven as he looked at his arms. What Steven didn't notice was that he was covered with seaweed all over his head, a starfish on the side of his head, and a fish on top of his head. Cheese then noticed Steven walking out the water. "Chao, chao!" Cheese says as Cheese noticed the mess on Steven's head. "Huh? Oh. Hey, Cheese. How's it going?" Steven asked, "Chao, chao, chao!" Cheese says, "Huh? What's wrong?" Steven asked as he turns his head around before feeling the seaweeds on his head. "What the? I must have been in the water for so long that the leaves got stuck on me" Steven says before taking he seaweed off. Steven then feels the starfish. "Huh? Now what's this?" Steven asked before pealing the starfish off the side. "Whoa! A starfish. I guess it wanted to watch me swim" Steven says and chuckles before going back towards the water with Cheese following. Steven lays the starfish back in the watery sand and the wave takes it in. "There we go..." Steven says before the fish bounced on Steven's head. "Now what?" Steven asked before taking the fish off his head. "Ooo! Score!" Steven says before the fish slipped out of his hands and bounced back in the water. "Aww... That could've been brunch. Oh well!" Steven says before he shakes the water off and it caused his fur to go poof. "Chao" Cheese says, "Hmm? What is it, Cheese?" Steven asked while Cheese flew around and looked at Steven's puffy fur. "Yeah, my fur always does that when I dry myself up" Steven says. Cheese then feels the fur. "Chao, chao!" Cheese says before sitting on top of Steven's head. Steven chuckled when he saw this. "You like the view?" Steven asked, "Chao!" Cheese says, "I'm glad you do" Steven says before he walks out the water with Cheese on top of his head. Steven picks up his gloves, socks and shoes before he and Cheese then went up to Tails and Cream. "Hey, guys. How's the sandcastle going?" Steven asked and Cream and Tails look at furry Steven. "It's going great. Whoa! Steven, your all furry" Tails asked, "I know. It happens when I dry myself from water and I guess Cheese likes the feel of it" Steven says as he chuckles, "Chao, chao, chao!" Cheese says, "How was your swimming lessons with Amy?" Cream asked, "It was actually really good. I've learned how to swim deep underwater, breath while swimming and see underwater. Now I won't have to worry about anything in the ocean" Steven says, "That's great, Steven" Cheese says, "And I'm guessing you was training a bit when Cheese was watching" Tails says, "Yeah, I did about 10 laps and my arms feel really numb" Steven says, "Steven, you don't need to over due it all the time. Sometimes you have to take it easy before advancing. It's not always good for your body to take. Try to take it easy next time, okay?" Tails asked, "Okay, Tails. I'll admit, I was going all out, but I'll ease it for now" Steven says, "Thanks" Tails says, "Steven, with the way Amy taught you how to swim makes me wish Sonic would take swimming lessons" Cream says, "I know, Cream. But I'm sure he will one day. He'll react quickly when the time comes. Now, I gotta shake my fur back" Steven says before he takes Cheese off his head and sets Cheese down. Steven shakes his fur and his fur went back to normal. "Ah. That's much better. I'm gonna go and relax on the balcony" Steven says, "Okay" Cream and Tails said at the same time while Steven made his way to the balcony and lay down on the tanning chairs.

With Amy, she was walking on the sand and looking at the ocean. "Lovely. I just wish Sonic were here to enjoy this with me" Amy says as she closes her eyes and clasped her hands. Amy thinks about if Sonic was at the beach with her.

A slideshow shows Amy chasing Sonic on the water as they laughs, Amy helping Sonic learn how to swim while Sonic was in a donut float and Sonic and Amy watching the sunset while sitting on the sand. "Amy" Sonic says, "Sonic" Amy says before Sonic offers his hand and Amy takes it. They look at each other with a smile. They then get close and continue watching the sunset.

Back to reality, Amy liked the idea. "It would be so romantic! Oh! We'd be so happy! Uh..." Amy says until a stone falls on Amy's head and she falls down. Amy grunts and looks back at the rock before standing up. "You just ruined my fantasy!" Amy says before throwing the rock in the ocean.

The rock hits the ocean a couple of times before it hits a large pink island like platform with a eye on top. The pink island like platform grew a red bump before both the pink island like platform and rock go in the ocean.

Underwater, the pink island like platform revealed to be a Octopus robot named E-38 Octoron and continues going deeper in the water.

Back at surface, the rock floats in the ocean.

Back with Amy, she pants angry before realizing something. "Just thinking about Sonic can make me crazy" Amy says and sighs before hearing people laughing off screen. "Huh?" Amy asked as she sees a few people by the rocks as she focuses on the ones that were laughing. "You're so wonderful, Chad" a woman named Wendy says off screen, "So are you, Wendy" Chad says off screen while Amy looked down. "Sonic, where are you!?" Amy says off screen while a couple of seagulls continue flying above the ocean.

Amy continues walking on the beach looking sad with seagulls were screeching. "Chad, I made something for you" Wendy says off screen, causing Amy to listen and eavesdrop as she hides behind a rock. "For me?" Chad asked, "Yes, it's nothing really, but I want you to have it. It's a lucky charm for when you go in the water. It's just like mine." Wendy says as she showed Chad a shell bracelet. "Thank you" Chad says before accepting it. "I'll always wear it and think of you." Chad says off screen, "Oh, Chad" Wendy says off screen "Oh, Wendy" Chad says off screen while Amy continues watching.

Back at the Thorndyke villa, Steven, Tails and Cheese were making another sandcastle while laughing as on the balcony of the villa, Amy just finished making the shell bracelet and looks at it at upwards. "Hmm, I wonder what Sonic would say" Amy says, "Who's that for, Amy?" Cream asked as she blocked the sun, causing Amy to hide the shell bracelet behind her back. "Uh… Oh, nobody" Amy says, "You didn't make that for Sonic, did you?" Cream asked, "N... No, of course not!" Amy says. Then suddenly, the ground started to shake, causing Amy, Cream, Cheese, Tails and Steven to look to where the Hotel de blanc opening party was and see smoke coming up and an explosion. "That's coming from the opening party!" Steven says.

Back at the opening party of Hotel de Blanc, everyone was running away screaming as E-38 Octoron was causing a rampage while Dr. Eggman was floating from above in his Egg Mobile while laughing. "I'm turning the Emerald Coast resort into my kind of stomping ground" Dr. Eggman says as E-38 Octoron destroyed a boat with it's tentacle. It then tossed it away, causing an explosion while people continue running and screaming. Chris was nervous as he saw all this happening. "All right. Time for my de-construction crew." Dr. Eggman says, "All right!" a construction working robot named E-39 Quizon says off screen as it pulled a bolt cutter, "Ready!" Another E-39 Quizon says off screen while powering a drill, "Here I go!" And another E-39 Quizon says off screen as it holds a mallet. A lot of E-39 Quizon robots were coming out of the ocean. "All right! Here we come to destroy everything!" All the E-39 Quizons said and started destroying the Hotel. "Here we go! Here we go! Here we go go go!" All the E-39 Quizons said off screen as they drilled, hammered, and smashed the Hotel de blanc all over. "It's destroyed!" All the E-39 Quizons said as the Hotel de Blanc broke down. A statue of Dr. Eggman posing like the Statue of Liberty stood up along with more other things. "I have to find a way to call Sonic" Chris says before he, Ella, and Mr. Tanaka turns around and see the E-39 Quizon robots surround them. "You're my first guests. Welcome to Eggman's Scream Park where your first vacation is guaranteed to be your last" Dr. Eggman says and chuckles as Mr. Tanaka gets in front of Chris and Ella protectively. "Stay back, Chris. I will guard you. As your father's servant, it is my duty to protect you even if it means sacrificing myself. Now it is time for both of us to face our fate" Mr. Tanaka says as he performs martial arts moves and makes noise before Ella stops him. "Easy now" Ella says as she grabs Mr. Tanaka's arm. "Tanaka, you aren't even strong enough to lick a stamp" Ella says, making Mr. Tanaka blush while fixing his bow tie. "It's true. Right now, our only is Sonic" Chris says, hoping Sonic would get there on time.

In the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic entered with flowers in his hands. "Heeey! Huh? Wha..." Sonic says before he realized that everyone was at the Emerald Coast. "I forgot that everyone is gone but me." Sonic says before he puts the flowers in a pot. "You don't see beautiful flowers like this at the seashore. The mountains are far superior" Sonic says, "Sonic" Chuck says off screen, getting Sonic's attention as he heard the door open. "Hmm?" Sonic asked, "So, you're finally here, are you!?" Chuck asked as he grumbles and enters the living room. "Yeah" Sonic says and Chuck grumples again before turning on the TV showing what was happening on the opening party. "A gang of robot destroyers has been wrecking hotels and resorts all on the Emerald Coast. The situation is growing more dangerous by the hour. Authorities have issued evacuation orders." The news anchor says from the TV says before the screen changes to Dr. Eggman who was laughing. "Oh" Sonic says, "The owners of the Emerald Coast Resort didn't invite me to their opening, so I knocked it down and turned it into my own vacation destination. It's now Eggman's scream Park!" Dr. Eggman says along with Bokkun's voice before Bokkun laughs. "Huh" Sonic says as he looks behind to see Bokkun with a bomb in his hand. "I brought you a personal invitation. Your friend Chris is already there. He's having a great time. Stop by. We'll have a real blast" Bokkun says before stepping back as he lite up the bomb. Sonic grabs the bomb and doesn't know what to do as it explodes to his and Chuck's faces.

Back outside, Bokkun then flies away laughing. "Got you! Ha ha ha!" Bokkun says as he flies away.

Back in the living room, Sonic and Chuck were are covered in dust before Sonic shakes it off. "Oh, well!" Sonic says before leaving the house with Chuck blinking in surprise.

Back at the Hotel de Blanc, black smoke was stll rising due to the destruction and construction from the Hotel de Blanc hotel island.

With Steven, Amy, Cream and Cheese, Amy and Cream got changed back into their regular clothing. Amy was looking at the destruction at what used to be Hotel de Blanc with binoculars with Cream, Cheese and Steven looking from behind. Amy then gasps as she saw Dr. Eggman flying around ordering the E-39 Quizon robots around. "It's Eggman!" Amy says off screen, "Then Chris, Mr. Tanaka and Ella are in danger!" Steven says off screen, "Out of the way, I've gotta save Chris1" Tails says as he drives the X-Tornado closer a bit, causing Amy, Cream, Cheese and Steven to back away a bit. Amy then throws the binoculars to Tails. "Ah!" Tails says he catches them. "Huh?" Tails asked while Amy sits in the backseat. "Amy, what're you doing!?" Tails asked, "Sonic's gonna show up to help, but if he doesn't, Chris'll need all the help they can get" Amy says, "Okay" Tails says, "I'm coming too, guys" Steven says, causing Amy and Tails to look at Steven. "Are you sure, Steven?" Tails asked, "Yeah, Tails. It's like Amy said, even if Sonic does show up, someone else has to go and see if Chris, Ella and Mr. Tanaka are alright" Steven says and Tails thinks. "I think he should go, Tails" Cream says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "What do you think, Tails?" Amy asked. Tails thinks about it before making his decision. "Alright. Let's go then, Steven" Tails says, "Okay. Cream, Cheese, stay here at the villa. We'll be right back after" Steven says, "Okay, Steven" Cream says, "Chao, chao" Cheese says and Steven jumps in a seat in the back of the X-Tornado. "Ready, guys?" Tails asked, "Ready" Amy says, "Let's do this" Steven says, " we go" Tails says as the window hatches closes. The X-Tornado's engine powered up and started driving fast. The speed hits Amy's face a bit while Cream and Cheese shield themselves from the wind. The X-Tornado then takes off in the skies. "I hope they make it back safely" Cream says and Cheese chirps.

Back to the construction of what used to be Hotel de Blanc, everything was being built fast by the E-39 Quizon robots while Dr. Eggman laughs. "Build faster. Don't use too many nails and bolts. And make sure you water down the cement.I want these rides to be the most dangerous in the universe" Dr. Eggman says off screen as Chris and Ella looked nervous while Mr. Tanaka was being protective for them. Suddenly, a blue blur comes out of nowhere and and goes past a tower. "Ack...what?!" Dr. Eggman asked off screen as the tower's support to break and for the tower to tip over along with the E-39 Quizon robots on it. The smoke clears and shows some E-39 Quizon robots destroyed and for Sonic to appear. "Well, well!" Sonic says, "Ha, Sonic!" Chris says, "Hiya, Chris! Thought I'd drop by for a visit" Sonic says before turning around as he heard a noise and sees E-38 Octoron. "You fell right into my trap, Sonic! I know you can't swim, so I lured you to the sea!" Dr. Eggman says and Sonic gets ready. "Get him, Octoron!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as E-38 Octoron charges its tentacles at Sonic. "Here I go!" Sonic says while laughing and dodges them before jumping and tries to kick E-38 Octoron, but Octoron's tentacle arm gets in the way and causes Sonic to get stuck a bit. Sonic then gets tied up and struggles to break free while straining. "You won't get away!" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh, yeah? Just watch me!" Sonic says as E-38 Octoron brings Sonic underwater.

Back underwater, Sonic struggles to break free along with holding his breath.

Back up to surface, Chris was really worried. "Let him go!" Chris says and Dr. Eggman laughs. "I'm giving Sonic a choice. He can either forfeit the fight or forfeit his life!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back underwater, Sonic was still struggles to break free.

Back up to surface, E-38 Octoron pulls Sonic out of the water back. "Well, how do you like the ocean?" Dr. Eggman asked and Sonic spits some water out of his mouth. "It's delightful" Sonic says, "Good! then let's see how long you're able to stay under!" Dr. Eggman says before E-38 Octoron tried to bring Sonic back underwater, but Sonic moved his legs and reached on land. Sonic struggles as he tries running to break free and this caused E-38 Octoron to be pulled a bit. "Don't let Sonic slip out of your grip, Octoron! Haul that hedgehog back into the ocean and don't let him up for air!" Dr. Eggman says before E-38 Octoron started to pull Sonic back a bit. Sonic continues to run while being pulled back a bit. E-38 Octoron then started going in the water. Sonic looks behind him and tried to run faster. "Come on, Octoron, flex those tentacles!" Dr. Eggman says as he didn't notice the X-Tornado flying above.

In the X Tornado, Tails, Amy and Steven see the action. "Sonic's in trouble!" Steven says, "Sonic!" Amy says before opening the window hatch and jumps out. "Amy, wait!" Tails says, "Amy! Tails, open the back hatch! I'm going to help Amy!" Steven says, "Be careful, Steven" Tails says before opening the back window hatch and Steven jumps out and sky dives. "Let him go!" Amy says before she pulls out her Piko piko hammer.

Back at the battle, Amy lets out a yell and smashes the tentacle that Sonic was trapped in as she lands. This caused E-38 Octorons's tentacle to get cut before it hit itself and crashes in the water with a big splash. Dr. Eggman was shocked that he had his hands on his head. "How could you?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Keep your rotten robots away from my Sonic or you're gonna be sorry!" Amy says before Steven lands next to her. "Amy, are you alright?" Steven asked, "I am now. Sonic is saved" Amy says. Sonic was trying to break free from the tentacle. "Whoa! Thanks, Amy" Sonic says as he breaks free from the tentacle and goes up a rail and jumps.

Back with the X-Tornado, it flies towards Sonic. "Hey, Sonic!" Tails says off screen as the X-Tornado releases a ring. Sonic reaches his hand to grab it. "Got it!" Sonic says as he catches it. The ring glows in Sonic's hand before Sonic does his powerful spin attack.

Back at the battle, Steven sees Sonic spinning towards the ground. "Let's get to cover, Amy" Steven says, "Okay" Amy says as she and Steven ran away from where E-38 Octoron was. Sonic aims at E-38 Octoron before he breaks through E-38 Octoron. Sonic smashes through E-38 Octoron a few times. After a few hits, Sonic flies out and E-38 Octoron crashes in the water again before it explodes. "Oh, no!" Dr. Eggman says as he saw the explosion. Now there was smoke in the water. Sonic then lands back on the ground. "Sonic!" Amy says and goes up to Sonic and hug him. "Whoa, lighten up, Amy" Sonic says, "You won this time, but I'm not through!" Dr. Eggman says flying away. "Yeah, right" Sonic says before facing Amy. "What you did was crazy" Sonic says, "I know, but you make me do crazy things" Amy says, "Oh" Sonic says as he sweat drops a bit. With Steven, he went to see if Chris, Ella and Mr. Tanaka were alright. "Are you guys, alright?" Steven asked, "Uh huh" Chris says, "Oh my! That was horrible for what has happened" Ella says, "It's a good thing I was here to protect you all" Mr. Tanaka says as he showed his martial art moves. "Oh please, you would have been clobbered easily" Ella says, making Mr. Tanaka blush in embarrassment and for Chris and Steven to laugh nervously. "Well I'm glad you all are safe" Steven says before going up to Sonic and Amy. "Are you alright, Sonic?" Steven asked, "Yeah. Thanks to Amy here" Sonic says and Amy giggles a bit.

Back with the X-Tornado, it flies over. "Everything okay down there?" Tails asked off screen.

Back on the ground, Sonic waves. "Yeah, Tails, thanks for the ring!" Sonic says, "We'll be heading back to the villa now!" Steven says before Sonic faces them. "Thank you, guys" Sonic says, "No problem, Sonic" Steven says before Sonic started to walk away. "Hey!" Amy says, "Huh?" Sonic asked as he faces Amy again. Amy then shows Sonic the shell bracelet. "Sonic, this is a bracelet I made to protect you in the water" Amy says, "Oh" Sonic says as he looks at the shell bracelet. Steven chuckled as he saw this and decided to let Sonic and Amy have a moment by stepping away a bit. "You made it for me?" Sonic asked, "If you wear it, it'll bring you good luck." Amy says off screen, "Really?" Sonic asked and Amy giggles while blushing. "Oh!" Sonic says. Steven saw this and smiled. Before Sonic takes it, there was a shake, causing Amy to drop the bracelet and for Sonic to catch her. Steven almost lost his balance. "What was that?" Steven asked until he, Sonic and Amy saw the shell bracelet drop on the ground. "Your bracelet!" Amy says as she reaches her hand. "I'll get it!" Steven says as he was about to get the shell bracelet, but suddenly, an object smashes the shell bracelet into pieces, making Steven jump back. "Oh no!" Steven says while Amy looked shock and Sonic looked serious. "I can't believe it!" Amy says as the E-39 Quizon robots from before formed into E-38 Neo Serpenter. Dr. Eggman then flies over while laughing. "I told you I wasn't through with you, Sonic, didn't I? My Quizon have merged to form serpenter, and it's ready to strike! Impressive, isn't it, Sonic?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Well, that thing is pretty tall, but I bet in a battle, it comes up short" Sonic says as Amy kept looking at the broken shell bracelet. "You need more than speed to survive this robot, Sonic" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Really? Yo, fang-face, let's see how quickly you can slither!" Sonic says as he claps before jumping into action. "After him, Serpenter! Get rid of that blue bozo!" Dr. Eggman says as E-38 Neo Serpenter followed Sonic. Sonic then stopped and turned around to jump and clap. "You heard your boss, slow poke! Right here! Catch me!" Sonic says as he continued getting E-38 Neo Serpenter's attention. With Amy and Steven, Amy picks up the broken shell bracelet with tears in her eyes while crying a bit. "I guess my charm wasn't so lucky..." Amy says before she weeps. A couple of her tears land on the remaining of the shell bracelet before holding them in her fists. Steven saw this and felt bad for Amy, Steven then went up to Amy and gave her a friendly hug. "I'm sorry, Amy. I'm sure Sonic would have loved the shell bracelet you made for him" Steven says as he rubs her back. Then suddenly, Amy lifts her head and her eyes turn fire as she was really angry now. Steven saw this and got nervous. "Amy...? Are you okay...?" Steven asked, "Steven... Whatever happens, don't get in my way" Amy says, "Uh, yeah. Sure" Steven says as he stepped away from Amy. "All right, Serpenter, you know what to do! Put the squeeze on Sonic and then toss him out to sea!" Dr. Eggman says before Amy starts shouting. "How dare you do something like this! Now you're gonna pay!" Amy says as she holds her Piko piko hammer which was twice the size than regular, causing Dr. Eggman to gasped. "Huh?" Sonic asked, "Oh boy..." Steven says, "Don't mess with me!" Amy says before she smashes E-38 Neo Serpenter's tail. "Ouch!" E-38 Neo Serpenter says in pain, leaving Sonic, Steven and Dr. Eggman surprised. "Amy..." Sonic says, "Oh, my..." Dr. Eggman says, "Whoa..." Steven says, "How dare you do this!" E-38 Neo Serpenter says as it faces Amy before smashes E-38 Neo Serpenter's pieces away that was holding it up. E-38 Neo Serpenter yelled in pain as it got lower. There was black smoke flying and Sonic and Steven continue watching in surprise while sweat dropping. Dr. Eggman ducked his head as a piece went flying above him. "Oh no! Perhaps I better go!" Dr. Eggman says as he flies away a bit. Amy then smashes E-38 Neo Serpenter's head. "Take that and that and that!" Amy says before she was sprung in the air. Amy aims at Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile and hits him

Dr. Eggman was sent crashing in the ocean while screaming. Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile flips back over and Dr. Eggman spits out the extra water from his mouth and coughs. Dr. Eggman then looks up to see Amy charge at him with a pink aura around her. "Take this!" Amy says before Dr. Eggman screams and gets hit, causing a big splash to form.

Back on land, Sonic, Steven, Chris, Ella and Mr. Tanaka gasped as they saw this. "Amy!" Sonic says as he gets closer to the edge while continue looking at the big splash. Sonic takes a deep breath and dives in the water.

Back at the X-Tornado, Tails saw the splash where Sonic jumped in. "I can't believe it! Sonic's swimming!" Tails says.

Back on land, Chris got nervous. "No, Sonic!" Chris says, "I'll save them!" Steven says before he takes a deep breath and dives in the water. "Hurry!" Chris says as he watches the bubbles from where Sonic dived in.

Back underwater, Amy was unconscious while floating underwater with the shell bracelet in her hands. Amy opens her eyes a bit to see Sonic swimming after her before closing her eyes. "No, Sonic. You can't swim..."Amy says in her head as she kept going deeper underwater. Sonic catches Amy and was struggling to swim up. Steven swims faster as he saw Sonic and Amy. "There they are!" Steven says in his head as he swims closer to Sonic and Amy. Sonic saw Steven and reached his hand out. Steven grabs Sonic's hand and tried to swim up, but due to holding onto Sonic and Amy, he was struggling again. "No, not again!" Steven says in his head before he remembers what Amy said when she gave him swimming lessons. "If you just relax and go with the flow on any current, then you won't have anything to worry about" Amy says in Steven's head. "She's right. I can still do this. I even swam a few laps..."Steven says in his head before putting a serious face on. Steven signaled Sonic to grab his legs. Sonic grabbed Steven's legs and Steven used all his might on his arms to reach for surface. Steven eventually started swimming up with Sonic holding onto his legs and Amy.

Back to surface, Sonic, Steven and Amy came out of the water with Sonic and Steven coughing water out of their mouths while Amy was still unconscious. Steven grabs Sonic's hand and they started heading to where Chris and the others were.

Back on land, Chris saw Sonic, Steven and Amy. "There they are!" Chris says as he, Ella and Mr. Tanaka went up to the the edge and water and pulled Sonic, Steven and Amy out of the water. Chris patted Sonic's back as he coughed water out, Ella was checking Steven and Mr. Tanaka was checking on Amy. "Oh boy... that was intense..." Steven says as he laid on the ground due to exhaustion. "But you're swimming skills came in handy, Steven" Ella says, "They sure did..." Steven says before he sits up a bit. "Are you okay, Sonic?" Chris asked, "Yeah. Thanks" Sonic says before standing up and going up to Mr. Tanaka. "How is she?" Sonic asked, "She'll be fine. She just needs rest. She'll wake up in a couple of hours" Mr. Tanaka says, "That's good" Sonic says, "Sonic, Amy wanted to give this bracelet to you" Steven says as he held the broken shell bracelet. Sonic takes it before walking away. "Thanks for the save, Steven. I'll see you all later" Sonic says before he runs off. "Let's head to the villa. The others must be worried" Ella says, "Right" Mr. Tanaka says before picking Amy up. "Are you okay, Steven?" Chris asked as he helped Steven up. "Yeah... I'm just thankful that... Amy gave me those swimming lessons" Steven says as he and Chris smile before they all started heading to the X-Tornado that was parked around the area.

In Amy's mind, she and Sonic were on the beach chasing each other while laughing before Sonic speeds up a bit. "Hey, Sonic. Hold on!" Amy says as she reached her hand out while Sonic kept running. "Wait for me!" Amy says before Sonic stops running. Amy stops running as she catches her breath. Sonic then looks back at Amy and chuckles. "Wake up Amy" Sonic says with Cream's voice.

Back to reality, Amy wakes up. "Huh?" Amy asked as she finds herself laying on a lounge chair at the balcony of the Villa as the sky was orange. "Amy, you're awake!" Cream says, "Where... Where am I" Amy asked, "You're back in Chris's villa. They brought you here after you were pulled out of the water" Cream says as Amy sits up. "Who brought me?" Amy asked as she looks around. "Chris, Tails and Steven in the "X-Tornado"" Cream says before Amy realizes something. "Is Sonic okay?" Amy asked, "Yes, but he went back home" Cream says, "Oh. I see" Amy says before she looks at her hand where she held the broken shell bracelet in the water with watery eyes. "The bracelet's gone" Amy says before she cries a bit. "I made it just for him, and now it's gone" Amy says, making Cream have tears in her eyes. "Oh, don't cry..." Cream says before Amy looks at the sky. "It was a good-luck bracelet to protect him in the water, but I guess Sonic had good luck anyway" Amy says, " I think Sonic's very lucky!" Cream says as Tails, Cheese, Steven and Chris were laughing and jumping on the sand while black smoke was coming from the destruction of the Hotel de Blanc from afar.

With Sonic, he was sitting on a rock before letting out a sneeze and rubs his nose. "Sonic, you gotta stay out of the water. Hmm" Sonic says before he stands up and it reveals him wearing the fixed shell bracelet Amy made for him and wore it on his left wrist as today has been a very long day for everyone.

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! As I was taking flying lessons from Tails in the X-Tornado, another Chaos Emerald was discovered in a stadium that was set to be demolished that I we were told from the groundskeeper Albert. As we were about to take the Cyan Chaos Emerald, Dr. Eggman arrives and takes it from us. As Sonic and everyone else including Knuckles arrived, Chuck decided that the only way we can get the Cyan Chaos Emerald back is to win it by competing in a game of base ball with Team Sonic vs. Team Dr. Eggman! I've never actually played baseball before, but I can tell that this will be a very interesting game to play! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Fierce Fight! Sonic Baseball Team" ("Unfair Ball"). Let's play ball!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
