Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

13. Episode 12

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

At the Thorndyke Mansion, it was morning time.

On the roof of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic was laying down while reading a book called "Walk of the Earth". The page Sonic was looking at showed a glimpse of land on Earth from space. Sonic sighs before he closes the book and lays it next to him. "I guess I've seen every place there is to see on this planet, except for the places I'd have to swim to..." Sonic says as he looks up in the sky. Suddenly, running footsteps were heard. "Hmm?" Sonic asked before he looks down. Sonic saw Steven doing the zig zag training. "Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4. Zig, 2, zag 4. Zig, 2, zag, 4..."Steven says in his head as he was sweating. Sonic smiled a bit before putting a serious face. Sonic stands up and jumps down to the ground. "Whoa!" Steven says as he stopped zig zagging when he saw Sonic. "Oh!... Hey, Sonic..." Steven says, "Don't worry about me. Keep going" Sonic says, "Okay, sure..." Steven says as he went back to zig zagging. Sonic watched Steven continue zig zagging. "I like how you're been taking your training more serious and effective now" Sonic says, "Uh huh... I've been doing so because... I'm trying to boost my... Confidence so that I... I won't have to be scared of anything... And also... I want to try and... Do stuff on my own... So I couldn't think of anything... Better to make it happen... than to... Keep training harder and harder..." Steven says while zig zagging and panting. Sonic was a bit surprised. "I see. What made you think all of this?" Sonic asked, "Well... Ever since I've been... Going on all... The adventures with... You and the others recently, Sonic... I've decided I... I... I want to... To help out a lot... a lot more than before... So If I... Continue my training... Everyday than... I won't have anything... Holding me back... Anymore and I can... Also save lives... Big and small too..." Steven says, "Okay. You'd rather do anything and everything on your own without any help then?" Sonic asked, "Huh?... Well... Not everything on my own... It's not that I don't need any help at all... It's just that... Uh..." Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven. It's okay. I understand completely and I'm really glad you're having these thoughts in your head. You're learning how to be more independent from everything we've all been teaching you. Pretty soon you'll be the next hero" Sonic says, "Yeah... That's what I'm hoping for to happen..." Steven says. Sonic then puts a serious face on. "But there's one thing I want to know from you" Sonic says, "What is it...?" Steven asked, "Where were you the other day when we were looking for the Chaos Emerald at the abandoned factory?" Sonic asked off screen. Steven stopped zig zagging before he puts a nervous face on. "Everyone was worried that when you weren't back here. I was worried too. You've been gone the whole night and then suddenly came back the next morning. I thought something happened to you. Where did you go and what happened?" Sonic asked. Steven saw the look on Sonic's face before he sighs. Steven then sets the log down on the ground. "Okay, I'll tell you, but please don't get mad, Sonic" Steven says, "Go ahead, Steven" Sonic says. Steven the sighs again. "Okay... The reason why I was gone that day is because... I'm working for the President now..." Steven says. Sonic then gives another surprised. "Huh? The President?" Sonic asked, "Yes..." Steven says, "How?" Sonic asked, "Remember when we were looking for the Chaos Emerald at the abandoned factory that day?" Steven asked, "Yeah" Sonic says, "Well I went on foot while Tails, Amy, Chris and Danny took the X-Tornado. When I got to the fork on the road, I found the arrow on the ground a bit broken on the tip. I'm guessing a strong breezed pushed it off the sign. But anyway, I put it back up once I found the direction it was at from the map Chris gave me. Once I found the abandoned factory, for some reason you and everyone else weren't there" Steven says, "That was because the arrow was pointing on the right than the left. I knew there was something off about that arrow pointing at the right. We couldn't find anything down that path. I don't know why it was pointing in the wrong direction" Sonic says, "Either it was accidentally changed by strong wind or someone changed it because they don't want people to find the factory" Steven says, "It's more likely someone changed it on purpose" Sonic says,"Possibly. So since I was already at the factory, I decided to look for the Chaos Emerald, but before anything else, I met someone that was from our home world" Steven says, "Really? Who was it?" Sonic asked, "Her name was Rouge the Bat" Steven says, "Rouge? I know her" Sonic says, "She's an acquantence to you and the others, right?" Steven asked, "Sometimes. She like to do things her way whenever it involves a Chaos Emerald. Say, did she do anything to you?" Sonic asked, "Not exactly. Why?" Steven asked, "Because Rouge is really manipulative when it comes to getting what she wants, Steven. She even tried to take the Chaos Emeralds from us and Eggman a few times" Sonic says, "Wow. She must be really desperate for jewels. She probably wishes to have a castle made out of jewels" Steven says, causing him and Sonic to chuckle a bit. "Yeah. Pretty much. Toput it here, she's a jewel thief. Come to think of it, I think she was the one who changed the arrow pointing right" Sonic says, causing Steven to look surprised. "You may be right. From what your telling me about her, she probably did that so we couldn't get the Chaos Emerald first" Steven says, "Right, but she didn't think you'd be there too, so her plan to have it for herself didn't go as plan thanks to you, Steven" Sonic says, "I guess so. I figured it was her when I was getting to know her a bit. Anyway, Rouge only made a deal that if I help her looked for the Chaos Emerald. She was gonna give it to me, but I'd have to give her something else in return that's related to jewelry" Steven says, "Yeah, that sounds like a deal she would make with someone. So did you agree?" Sonic asked, "I had to if I get a hold of the Chaos Emerald. So I told her we can first try with something small and I tired giving her a small glass ball" Steven says and Sonic chuckled a bit. "A glass ball? Did she accept it?" Sonic asked, "Well she didn't get a chance to answer because that's where my story continues, but she didn't seem pleased though" Steven says, causing Sonic to laugh a bit. "Well that's too bad her. She can't always get what she wants from someone that easily" Sonic says, "I guess not" Steven says as he chuckles a bit. "Alright, go ahead and continue because I've gotta hear this" Sonic says, "Right. So before me and Rouge could continue, we were suddenly caught in an ambush by a military team called the "Guardian Units of Nations". Also known as "G.U.N". It turns out it was a trap to catch you, Sonic" Steven says, "Huh? Me?" Sonic asked, "Yeah. So because of that, there wasn't a Chaos Emerald at that abandoned factory after all. Sonic, Chris said that there was a Chaos Emerald at that abandoned factory, right?" Steven asked, "Yeah, that's right" Sonic says, "Okay, but that was where the trap was and there was no Chaos Emerald anywhere. So who told Chris it was there exactly?" Steven asked, "He said his school teacher Mr. Stewart" Sonic says, "Mr. Stewart?" Steven asked, "Yep" Sonic says, "I saw him on the day Chris had his house party while me, Cream and Cheese were trying to hide. He was acting strange" Steven says, "What do you mean?" Sonic asked, "He kept commenting on this painting on the wall in the living room and didn't bother to pay attention to what was going on in the room. If I remember correctly, he had some weird device he was holding..." Steven says before he gives another surprised look. "Unless..." Steven says, "What's wrong?" Sonic asked, "Well I don't want to get the wrong idea, but at the same time, I think..." Steven says, "You think what?" Sonic asked, "I think Mr. Stewart is working for the President as well" Steven says, causing Sonic to give a surprised look again. "Really? Him?" Sonic asked, "Well I don't want to judge anyone unless I have enough proof, but at the same time, it seemed a bit obvious. He came to the Mansion and acted as of nothing was happening, then he tells Chris that there's a Chaos Emerald in the abandoned factory where the ambush took place... He must be an undercover agent then because he knew if he told Chris, he would tell you and then you would have went to the abandoned factory where the ambush took place, but thanks to Rouge, it didn't play out exactly. So overall, Mr. Stewart is on to us too" Steven says, "If what you say is true, then we have to tell Chris about this" Sonic says, "No!" Steven says, causing Sonic to back up a bit. Steven then realized what he did. "Sorry, Sonic. I mean - Not yet. If we tell Chris now, it might cause some complications and misunderstandings. We just have to watch out for him if Mr. Stewart does anything suspicious again" Steven says, "Hmm. Alright. Sounds reasonable. We can do that" Sonic says, "Okay, good" Steven says, "Now back with you. After you and Rouge got caught, what happened then?" Sonic asked, "We were then transported to the White House where the President is. It was around sunset when we got there" Steven says, "Then that must have happened while me and the others kept looking for the factory on my path" Sonic says, "Yeah, then me and Rouge met the President shortly" Steven says, "What did he say?" Sonic asked, "He said he needs my help to stop Dr. Eggman once and for all" Steven says, making Sonic give another surprised look. "Stop Eggman?" Sonic asked, "Yes" Steven says, "Why does he need your help?" Sonic asked, "Well since I was the one they caught instead of you, Sonic, they're really desperate to have all the help they can get to stop Dr. Eggman without question" Steven says, "Sounds like they're really serious about stopping Eggman" Sonic says, "Yeah, that's what I thought too. Anyway, this is where my story continues and tells where I've been all night. Me and Rouge were sent on a mission to infiltrate Dr. Eggman's Fortress" Steven says, "You went to Eggman's base? Where's it at?" Sonic asked, "It's on an island around the Southern Sea. The tower looked crooked when I saw it" Steven says, "Eggman should focus more on his living arrangements than focusing on world domination for once" Sonic says, "Yeah, maybe. Anyway, the mission was happening at night time" Steven says, "That was around the same time me and the others found the abandoned factory on the other path. I originally thought you were with the others in the X-Tornado and they thought you was with me" Sonic says, "I know. I figured I had you everyone else worried that night. I'm sorry, Sonic" Steven says, "Don't worry about me, Steven. It's the others I feel you should apologize when you get the chance" Sonic says, "I will. Definitely" Steven says, "Good. Now then, what was the mission you had to do?" Sonic asked, "We had to find the Power Generator room inside Dr. Eggman's base, but before we could do it, the G.U.N Team put these bombed bracelets on me and Rouge" Steven says, "Bombed bracelets? Why?" Sonic asked, "Because the G.U.N Team didn't trust us exactly. So if we were to make a move that would make them not happy, they would have pressed the button on a remote and we would have been goners" Steven says, "I can tell. So what happened then?" Sonic asked, "We then began searching all over the base until we almost searched every floor in the base. It was dawn when we reached the top" Steven says, "Dawn? You've been up the whole night then!" Sonic says, "I know.I've never stayed up for that long in my life, but I did it anyway. Would you call that an achievement, Sonic? Steven asked as he chuckled a bit. "Well I'm sure people have already done that, but since you're determined to keep getting better, then sure. That's another achievement from me" Sonic says, "Thanks, Sonic" Steven says, "No problem. Continue" Sonic says, "Right. So the G.U.N team couldn't find anything so they decided to retreat, but then Rouge found another hallway she was interested in. I looked and I was curious to know if we can find anything from there too. So we told the G.U.N team that we were gonna search there and one of the agents named Topaz decided to join us just in case. The rest of the G.U.N Team then left the Fortress while we went for the search" Steven says, "Okay, I knew Rouge was gonna eventually pull something like that off" Sonic says, "Yeah, but her curiousness lead us to the treasure. We found a laboratory room and guess what we found in a machine" Steven says, "What?" Sonic asked, "The Cyan Chaos Emerald that Dr. Eggman took from us back at Diamond Stadium" Steven says, "That same Chaos Emerald from before?" Sonic asked, "Uh huh" Steven says, "Did you get it?" Sonic asked, "We were about to, but we got ambushed by Dr. Eggman's robots by one of them holding Topaz hostage" Steven says, "Really? Did you get hurt and did you save her?" Sonic asked, "We got hurt by the ears because one of them had a microphone that was playing ultrasonic sound" Steven says, "Ultrasonic sound? Sounds like something I would use if I knew how to do it. My enemies wouldn't stand a chance against me" Sonic says, causing Steven to chuckle a bit. "Oh I'll feel sorry for them if that ever happened" Steven says and he and Sonic laugh a bit. "Alright, finish up" Sonic says, "Right. Anyway, as we dealing and destroying the small robots, one of them shot the machine the Cyan Chaos Emerald was in. I was afraid it got destroyed so I wanted to see if it was still okay, but Dr. Eggman's robot had the upper hand on us. We were almost finish, but we were saved by Rouge using both mine and her bombed bracelets. Rouge threw them inside the microphone and it caused the ultrasonic sound to stop. Topaz then pressed the button and the bracelets blew up, causing the microphone to be destroyed. Rouge then took the chance to break through the robot. We were then about to leave, but I stayed behind" Steven says, "Stayed behind? Why?" Sonic asked, "Because I wanted to get the Cyan Chaos Emerald back, but I couldn't as the big robot was about to explode. So I had no choice but to rush out of there empty handed before the explosion could hit me. I almost got caught, but I managed to get outside and get blasted into the forest section. I was knocked out and I eventually woke up a bit in the forest before passing out again. I then woke up again in the Military Transport Aircraft. Rouge told me everything what happened and she told me I need to build up my courage the next time I get back in action. After I recovered a bit, I was then dropped off to the drop zone towards the Thorndyke Mansion and because of all that, I'm taking my training more seriously to build up my confidence to face any challenges I come across and become the next hero. That concludes my story to where I've been that day and the reason why I'm trying to take my training to the next level" Steven says. Sonic was surprised to hear everything. "Wow. Steven, I don't know what to say. You've been through so much that I didn't think you'd actually go through it all" Sonic says, "I know, Sonic. Believe me, I too didn't think I'd go through that too" Steven says, "I know, Steven, but I the only thing I can say is don't do something that can hurt you again, Steven. I don't like that stunt you pulled to try and get the Chaos Emerald back" Sonic says, "I know, Sonic..." Steven says, "It's like Tails said before, you have to be extra careful when you're dealing with Eggman by yourself. You don't know what Eggman can do to you if he saw got lucky this time, but the next time would be unpredictable. You could've been severely hurt or even worse. You'll not only have me worried, but everyone else too. You can't go pulling stunts like that easily. Especially if it's your first time doing them" Sonic says off screen while Steven felt down. "Now the last thing I want to know is what made you think to do this? Because I'm pretty sure the President didn't force you to do this. So why are you doing this exactly?" Sonic asked. Steven then sighs. "I know, Sonic, and I'm sorry for everything I did that day and worry you and the others. I just wanted to put my training to the test to prove to myself that I can take care of myself without any problems. That's one of the reasons why I wanted to join the mission. I was just trying to act like you when it comes to playing the hero, Sonic" Steven says off screen while Sonic didn't say anything. "There's also another reason why I agreed to help the President in that mission and for the upcoming mission to stop Dr. Eggman. I was nervous at first, but after I did a lot of thinking about it, I decided to do it. The President agreed that if I help him in on all this, then me, you and the others will receive official citizenships" Steven says, "Official Citizenships?" Sonic asked, "Yes. It means we'll be treated as regular civilians in this world and it would makes things easier for us and for them so we won't have to hide from the public. So because of everything I've been experiencing and going through on Earth, it helped me realize that there are other goals that I want achieve in my life and one of them right now is to get stronger and protect the ones that I care about. That's why I've decided to raise my training more intensively because I am determined for whatever awaits me I come across in my lifetime" Steven says as Sonic had a surprised look again. "Do you want to know what led me to all of this, Sonic?" Steven asked, "What is it?" Sonic asked, "It's you, Sonic. You've helped me a lot during our stay here on Earth. You're my inspiration on everything that's going on in my life right now and I couldn't ask for better idols other than you and your friends. So because of that, I thank you and the others for everything you've all done to help me get better. But if you're still disappointed at me, then I'll say it again, I'm sorry. But I want you to know that I wouldn't look at you in any negative point of view" Steven says. After a few seconds, Sonic smiled. "Steven,I'm really proud of you" Sonic says, "You are?" Steven asked, "Yeah. I really liked that your motivation to achieve more goals in your life is taking effect on you. You're becoming one of the most determined friends I've known" Sonic says, "Really?" Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. I really mean it" Sonic says, "Wow. Sonic, thank you" Steven says, "No problem. Also those pieces of motivation and courage inside of you has been increasing so much ever since we've met. Now it's at the point where you feel independent and have the guts to do a lot more than from before. From the way how you see me and my friends, I can tell that you're gonna be doing a lot of great things for the rest of your life. Do you feel the change growing inside you now after everything you've told me?" Sonic asked, "Hmm..." Steven says as he thinks a bit.

In a flashback, it shows the adventures Steven's been on with Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chris from the past to the present.

Back to reality, Steven remembered. "You're right, Sonic... I do feel the change... It feels like freedom to me... I went from being a nervous and useless nobody to a brave and useful somebody... It feels as if I broke out of a cage. Sonic... Thank you again for being there for me every step of the way... But I'm not saying as if this is all over. It's..." Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven. I understand. You're welcome again. But don't think I'm done helping you. I'll always help you and the others no matter what happens. How does that sound?" Sonic asked, "Sounds good" Steven says, "Great. So when is this upcoming mission happening, Steven?" Sonic asked, "I'm not exactly sure when. the G.U.N Commander said to just be ready just in case because they don't know when or how to reach out to me. So that's what I'm also doing in my training" Steven says, "Okay, then. Guess we'll have to

Inside the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream and Cheese were watching the "The Next Show" on TV as it was ending now. "Bye, bye my friends! I'll see you tomorrow!" Next says from the TV while Cream and Cheese waved back. "Bye-bye!" Cream says, "Chaochao" Cheese says before Ella walks in with a cake in her hands. "I thought you two might like a little snack" Ella says before she sets it down on the table. "Eat up" Ella says, "Thank you, Ella" Cream says, "Chao! Chao!" Cheese says as they jump on the couch before the news comes on the TV with a news anchor showing Jerome on another screen. "We interrupted our regularly scheduled program to go live to our SSTV correspondent, Scarlet Garcia" The news anchor says before the TV switches to Scarlet who was in a meeting room with Jerome and the press corps while camera flashes were appearing. "The President's top aide is going to make a statement before taking questions from the press corps." Scarlet says, "The president has decided to take action to stop Dr. Eggman!" Jerome says and more cameras start flashing at him while Cream, Cheese and Ella looked at the TV in confusion. "What?" Cream asked while Cheese chirped.

Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic and Steven saw the news from the window. "Looks like it's happening sooner than expected" Sonic says, "Seems that way" Steven says, "That means we gotta get you ready as soon as possible. Follow me, Steven. I'm gonna put you to the final test of your training. Let's go!" Sonic says, "Right" Steven says before running after Sonic. "Alright, time to put everything I've worked hard on to this final test!" Steven says in his head.

Attack on the Eggman Base! (Part 1) (Beating Eggman, Part 1)

At Dr. Eggman's Fortress, it was quiet outside.

Inside the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were also watching Jerome giving the statement. "Has the administration developed a concrete plan to stop Dr. Eggman?" a man asked off screen from the tv. "Yes" Jerome says from the tv before Dr. Eggman presses a button and turning the TV off. "Yeah? Well, I hope they've come up with a disaster management plan, because they're going to need it" Dr. Eggman says before laughing.

With Knuckles, he was climbing up a dirt wall and as he makes it to the top. Once Knuckles reached the top, he observes Station Square. "All right, where's that Chaos Emerald?" Knuckles asked before hearing a jet zooming noise. Knuckles looks up to see the X-Tornado fly past above him and decides to run down the dirt wall.

Above Station Square, the X-Tornado was flying.

Inside the X-Tornado, Tails and Chris were in the front and Amy and Frances were in the back. Chris also had a pair of high tech goggles on his eyes. "Amy, there's my house down there." Frances says as she points down, getting Amy's attention as she looks down to where Frances was pointing. "Which one?" Amy asked, "Do you see the one with the red roof?" Francis asked, "Yeah. That's great Frances" Amy says, "You should come for a visit sometime" Frances says, "I will, thanks" Amy says, "Hey, Chris. Do you think we can fly over our school?" Frances asked from the radio. "Ah, well, I, maybe" Chris says as he sinks in his seat a bit. "Guys, this isn't a sightseeing trip. We've got to hurry and track down the next Chaos Emerald or Eggman'll get it before we do" Tails says, "I know, Tails, sorry" Chris says, "It's all right. Hey, Chris, where did you get those new hightech goggles? From your grandpa?" Tails asked, "Mmm, no, my teacher, Mr. Stewart, gave 'em to me. Like 'em?" Chris asked, "Mmhmm. They look pretty cool" Tails says, "Yeah, they're one of the best gifts I ever got" Chris says.

Inside the high tech goggles, a red light was blinking and beeping.

At a parking lot at Chris's Elementary School, Mr. Stewart's car was parked.

Inside Mr. Stewart's car, he was in his car listening through the radio while looking at a map. There was a white moving dot on the map indicating the location of the high tech goggles as it moved. The radio statics and Mr. Stewart listens. "Amy, look" Frances says from the radio off screen, "Huh?" Mr. Stewart asked, "There's the school Chris and I go to" Frances says from the radio off screen as Mr. Stewart sees the white dot pass his location.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado kept flying.

Back in the parking lot of Chris' Elementary School, Mr. Stewart watches the X-Tornado fly before he starts up his car and follows the X-Tornado.

At an open field, Sonic and Steven were next to a man made obstacle course. "Alright, Rookie. This obstacle course represents the final test of your training. Unless you complete this final course, I'm not allowing you to go on this mission for the President. As you know, as an individual, you either pass or you won't pass. It's up to you to show me you're capable to handle anything that gets in your way. I know you can do this, Steven and I know you will succeed. Are you ready?" Sonic asked off screen. "Yes. I'll give it my all, Sonic" Steven says, "Okay, on your mark..." Sonic says and Steven gets ready to run. "Get set..." Sonic says and Steven takes deep breaths. "And..." Sonic says, "I can do this. I have to do this! I need to do this!" Steven says in his head. "...Go!" Sonic says and Steven ran. Steven's first crawled through a log and reached the other side, Steven then climbed up a ladder and climbed back down on the other side, Steven then hoped on tires, Steven then climbed the monkey bars, Steven then grabbed a rope and swing to the other side of a pool of water, Steven then crawled through a path of mud, Steven then climbed a rope to the top of a rock wall before jumping down, Steven then walked on a thin bridge while holding his balance, Steven then picked up a Rubik cube and solved it, Steven then solved a word search problem, Steven then searched for a specific rock. After all that, Steven ran back towards Sonic at a fast pace. "Almost there..." Sonic says in his head. After a few seconds, Steven reached Sonic. "Nice work, Steven! You did it!" Sonic says while Steven makes his way back to Sonic and pants while sweating and smiling. "I... Did... It...!" Steven says in his head.

At the White House, it was quiet too.

In the President's Office, the President, Topaz, Rouge, The G.U.N Commander, The G.U.N Captain, the Chairman, and the Director of Central Intelligence were discussing the plan on how to raid Dr. Eggman's Fortress from a small model of the island and Dr. Eggman's Fortress. "The power generators for Eggman's base are located under the tower, Mr. President" The G.U.N Commander says as he lifts a piece of Dr. Eggman Fortress tower up and shows them the power generator. "Oh" The President says as the G.U.N Commander placed the tower piece back. "This information came to us from Rouge and Topaz along with Steven" the G.U.N Commander says before sitting back down. The President then faces Rouge and Topaz. "Well, Rouge, I'm glad my confidence in you and Steven wasn't misplaced" The President says, "This spy stuff is right up my alley and Steven's a good kid" Rouge says, "We're all very grateful. Now, let's review our attack plan." The President says, "Right" the chairman says as the G.U.N Captain stands up. "You're taking all the credit, I see" Topaz says, "I did do all the work, but I'm giving the other half to Steven" Rouge says and Topaz scuffs. The G.U.N Captain then placed miniature boats and planes on the modeled map. "It'll be a two pronged assault from both sea and air" the G.U.N Captain says, "Hmm. Yes, but what if Eggman's robots counterattack?" The President asked, "These forces are merely a diversion. Eggman will deploy his robots against this frontal assault. Meanwhile, a special forces team will approach the island from the opposite side and sneak into the base from the rear" The G.U.N Captain says as he places another boat on the other side of Dr. Eggman's Fortress. "Once they break into the generator room, they'll cut off Eggman's power supply" The G.U.N Captain says, "They'll be backed up by a team from the Intelligence Agency including Rouge and some other agents" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "Good" The President says. "How come she gets top billing?" Topaz asked the G.U.N Commander, "You know how it works, Topaz. There's a star in every show. We're just bit players" The Commander says, "Alright, now what about Steven? What part is he gonna play in this?" The President asked, "We've had a few discussions with some of the other troops and we all came to an agreement that if Steven knows how to fly an aircraft, then he'll be placed in the Ariel Assault part of the diversion" The G.U.N Captain says, "Okay, but what if he can't fly a fighter jet?" The President, "Then Steven will join Rouge, Topaz and the rest of the special forces team to cut off the power supply" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "Okay, fair enough" The President says, "I hope Steven's prepare for what awaits him like he promised" Rouge says, "What makes you think he'll be prepared?" Topaz asked, "Let's just say I had a talk with him and he's gonna come back well prepared then ever" Rouge says, "Now, on the subject of Sonic..." The President says, "We're ready to capture him and force him to work with us" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "Well, now, you see… I sent someone to try a more diplomatic approach to pick both him and Steven up" The President says, "Who, sir?" the Director of Central Intelligence asked.

Back in the yard of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic and Steven we're talking. "Congrats, Steven. You passed my basic training. I'm proud to call you a pro now. I know you'll do us proud today when the mission begins" Sonic says, "I hope so..." Steven says as he felt a little nervous. "Hey, don't be nervous. Just remember what you've told me and why you're doing this. I'll try to join you if things start to get heavy, but for right now, keep the confidence up and I know you'll succeed, Steven" Sonic says. Before Steven can say anything, a sound of a car was heard pulling up to the front of the Thorndyke Mansion. "Hmm. Wonder who that can be?" Steven asked, "Let's check it out" Sonic says before he and Steven run out the yard.

Sonic and Steven went to the side of the Thorndyke Mansion and took a peak. Sonic and Steven see see a limo parked in the front of the Thorndyke Mansion. Two doors opened to reveal two security guards. "What are they doing here?" Sonic asked, "I don't know" Steven says before one of the security guards opens another door. The next person to step out reveal to be Jerome. Steven then gasped a bit. "That's Jerome" Steven says, "You know him?" Sonic asked, "Yeah, he's the President's assistance. I met him when I met the President. He and another man who is the Director of Central Intelligence are the ones who helped make the deal with the President about the Official Citizenships. So I think he's picking me up to get me prep for the mission" Steven says, "Alright. Then it's time for you to go, Steven. Remember what I said, okay?" Sonic asked, "Yeah" Steven says, "Great. Good luck and be careful" Sonic says, "Right" Steven says before Sonic jumps up on the roof and lays down. Steven then eavesdrops.

Jerome along with the two security guards stand at the front door and Jerome rang the doorbell. "Hello" Ella says off screen before she opens the door. "Good day, sir" Ella says as she looks at Jerome. "Oh my!" Ella says.

A flashback shows Jerome giving the statement from the TV in the living room.

Back to reality, Ella remembers Jerome. "You're the President's aide" Ella says, "Are Sonic and Steven home?" Jerome asked before Ella gives a surprise look. Sonic continued waiting with the sun shining from the sky while Steven continued watching while eavesdropping. Ella then crosses her arms. "I don't know. Who're they?" Ella asked, "I'd like you to let them know that I didn't come here to capture them. I simply came at the request of the President to ask for Sonic's cooperation and for Steven's approval. You should also tell Sonic that if he does agree to work with us, he'll be rewarded. The President gave his pledge that Sonic and his friends will be offered citizenship, and they'll be paid for their services. I'm certain that Steven already told Sonic and his friends, but would you kindly remind them again just to be safe?" The Jerome asked, "I guess the President wanted to have Sonic in on this too and make sure Sonic and everyone else know about all this" Steven says in his head before he looks up to the roof. "But I'm afraid it's not gonna go as accordingly. I have to do this on my own for now" Steven says in his head as he continued watching. Ella then scratches her ear. "That's all very nice, but I don't think I know no Sonic or Steven..." Ella says, "We know you know Sonic and Steven…" Jerome says before taking a book out and opening and flipping a page. "Ella'' Jerome says, causing Ella to gasp. "But how do you know my name?" Ella asked, "We know all about you, this house, and your visitors. Especially that talking female rabbit" Jerome says, "I already told you I don't know nothing. So why don't you put an egg in your shoe and beat it" Ella says, "I can cause lots of problemas for you, lady. GetSonic and Steven or else...!" Jerome says before Ella slams the door closed. Jerome growls and tries to get the door open, but falls down. "I guess Ella wanted to protect me and Sonic since she doesn't know that I know the President yet. Oh boy. I've got a lot of explaining to do when this is all done" Steven says in his head as he gets ready to appear. Jerome growls again before Ella opens the door again. "You... Huh?" Jerome asked as he saw Ella hold a bucket of wax. Ella splashes the wax on Jerome before closing the door again. Steven saw this and looked surprised and chuckled a bit. "Woah! I did not expect Ella to pull that off!" Steven says in his head. Jerome then appeared soaked while the two security guards looked shocked. "Ugh" Jerome says before he growls while the two security guards looked nervous while looking at each other.

Back inside the Thorndyke Mansion, Ella was walking away from the front door. "What kind of security is this? You're supposed to jump in front of me! Now, I smell like floor wax!" Jerome says off screen while Mr. Tanaka walks down the stairs. "Ella, who was it?" Mr. Tanaka asked, "Just because he's the President's big shot assistant, he thinks he can threaten me! Well, I just showed him that he's all wet!" Ella says as she walks up the stairs. "Hmm?" Mr. Tanaka asked before giving a confused look.

Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, Steven then runs towards the limo. Jerome was about to enter the limo until Steven went up to them. "Jerome!" Steven says, causing Jerome and the two security guards to jump a bit. "Ah! Oh. Hello, Steven. How are you today?" Jerome asked, "I'm doing okay. I saw what happened back there" Steven says while chuckling nervously, Jerome groans a bit and the two security guards looked nervous too. "I just can't believe my secret service didn't do anything to protect me" Jerome says while looking at the security guards who kept looking nervous. "I know. I'm sorry for what Ella did. I didn't get the chance to tell everyone about this because I was busy preparing myself in case you guys needed me" Steven says, "Well that's good, but did you at atleast tell Sonic about this?" Jerome asked, "I did, but he and the others will join later when the battle gets intense. I promise you they will. Anyway, now that you're here asI'm fully prepared, I think it's time we make our next move" Steven says as he puts a serious face on. Jerome saw Steven's face and knew what Steven was talking about. "Alright. Get in" Jerome says before he moved over a bit and Steven gets in the limo before the security guards closed the door and got in the limo too.

Back at the White House, it was still quiet.

Back inside the President's Office, the President was on the phone while the others watch. "Yes, I see. I understand. Thank you" The President says before he hangs up the phone and turns to the others. "He couldn't even get into the door to see Sonic, but he's on his way back with Steven" The President says, "Who knew Sonic was so stubborn. I hope Steven makes up for this" the Chairman says.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, the Limo drives off the Thorndyke Mansion while Sonic watched. "Good luck, Steven. Hang in there"Sonic says in his head before closing his eyes and taking nap.

Back in the President's Office, everyone in the room were about to make the final preparations. "It looks like we'll have to stop Eggman ourselves, Mr. President" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "I suppose we'll have to count Sonic out" The President says as he looks down. "You don't need him in the game" Rouge says off screen, "Huh?" The President asked and Rouge stands up before crossing her arms. "Not when you've got me going to bat for you. Also we've got Steven and I know he'll make us proud. Just watch" Rouge says while giving a wink. "Ah, you're right, Rouge!" the President says and Rouge chuckles. "I'm not going to let anything stop me from getting my hands on a Chaos Emerald this time. Especially you, Steven" Rouge says in her head.

Back in Station Square, Mr. Stewart was still driving on the road while trying to follow the high tech goggles location. "Huh?" Mr. Stewart asked as he saw that the white dot was going further off the map. "I wonder where they could be heading to now" Mr. Stewart says as he gets on the highway.

Back in the skies, The X-Tornado flies further in the air.

Back inside the X-Tornado, the Green Chaos Emerald started glowing. "The Chaos Emerald's picking up something!" Tails says, "That's great!" Chris says, "See the locator screen? Tails asked, "South-Southeast" Chris says, "Chaos Emerald, here we come. Everyone, we're going to turn" Tails says, "Yeah!" Amy and Frances said at the same time off screen before Tails moved the handles.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado flies in the other direction and zooms above an open field area.

On the Highway, Mr. Stewart sees the dot going the other way on the map. "Hmm, they turned again?" Mr. Stewart asked before he makes a turn and drives on the other lane.

At a corn field at an area called Tingaling Villa, the X-Tornado makes a rough landing at a corn field before it stops skidding. Chris then looks at the surroundings. "The scopes say there's a Chaos Emerald in this field. We beat Eggman to it. Open up so we can start looking" Chris says, "We can look from here" Tails says, "Hmm?" Chris asked, "Wait and see" Tails says as he pushes a button on the joystick, causing the X Tornado to transform. Amy and Frances looked surprised. "W-What's this?" Frances asked as the X Tornado transformed into a form called the X-Cyclone. "Wow!" Frances says, "Wow, Tails. What did you do?" Amy asked while Tails rubbed his nose. "I transformed it into an allpurpose robot called X-Cyclone. What do you guys say we take it for a little stroll?" Tails asked, "Uhhuh!" Chris, Amy and Frances said, "Now, let's find that Chaos Emerald" Tails says off screen as the X-Cyclone started walking through the field.

Back on the highway, Mr. Stewart sees that the dot stopped on a green area. "A Chaos Emerald, eh...?" Mr. Stewart asked as he pulls out a small chip that was a radio. "This is Chalkboard Charlie calling Homeroom. Come in, Homeroom. Over" Mr. Stewart says off screen as he continues driving.

Back at the White House, it was quiet again.

Back in the President's Office, the sounds of doors opening were heard. "Huh?" The President, The G.U.N Commander, Topaz, Rouge, the Chairman and the Director of Central Intelligence asked as they turn towards the door. The doors open to reveal the G.U.N Captain and Steven in a suit. Steven was wearing a fighter jet outfit that fits him well as well as holding his pilot helmet under his arm. "Oh" The President, The G.U.N Commander, Topaz, Rouge, the Chairman and the Director of Central Intelligence said as they saw Steven. The President then goes up to Steven. "Hello, Steven. It's great to see you again" The President says as he and Steven shook hands. "You too, Mr. President. As well as everyone else here" Steven says, "He knows how to fly an aircraft so he'll be in the Ariel assault of the diversion" the G.U.N Captain says, "That's great" the President says, "Nice to see you again, Steven. Are you more prepared than before?" Rouge asked, "Yes, Rouge. The Captain has given me the necessary information that's needed for this and I'll do my best to help you in anyway necessary" Steven says, "That's good to know, Steven" The Director of Central Intelligence says, "Yes, but before we begin, I just want to say that it's an honor fighting alongside with you all to stop evil together. I understand that we all had different perspectives against each other ever since this sudden arrival, but I just want you all to know that even if you all still don't completely trust us, then I feel the best way to do so is form a temporary alliance to gain experience and learn from each other than to live seeing each other as enemies forever. It could not only help us, but it can help others learn that no matter what species you are, you're still consider someone that can be more than just what others originally think of you. Like the rest of us, we have feelings and motives that can bring two different things together. So after this, I hope we can all see each other as one. No matter how different we are from each other. I think I've said all I needed to say so I wish everyone good luck on this mission so we can all make history together" Steven says as he salutes. Everyone in the room then clapped. "Well said, Steven. Well said" The G.U.N Commander says, "I'm glad we could have someone like you we can count on" The Chairman says, "See? What did I tell you?" Rouge asked, "Wow. You were right, Rouge" Topaz says, "We're all very grateful, Steven" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "Yes, I'm glad to say we can rely on you to help all of us" the President says, "Thank you, now let's go over the plan one last time" Steven says.

Back at the corn field, the X-Cyclone was parked as Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances got out.

"Isn't that right, Tails?" Frances asked, "Hey, yeah. You said it was an allpurpose robot!" Chris says before Tails rubs his fingers and sweat drops. "I… didn't include a digging function" Tails says, making everyone look shocked and sweat drop. "Wha?" Chris asked, "It's not allpurpose then, is it?" Amy asked, "Not exactly..." Tails says, "Guys, I bet the farm house we saw has a shovel we could borrow" Chris says before he runs off. "Uh... I'll go with you!" Frances says as she and Chris make their way through the corn field and head to a farmhouse.

Back at the White House, it was quiet once again.

Back in the President's Office, everyone including Steven we're now discussing the final preparations. "This may well be our only opportunity, Mr. President! If Eggman leaves to chase after that Chaos Emerald, we can attack the base while he's gone, which will improve the odds of our success" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "And we'll have Eggman on the run" the Chairman says, "Hmm" The President says as he think while facing the window. "Mr. President, I understand if this isn't the way you wanted it planned out, even I wish there was another way, but the Director of Central Intelligence and the Chairman are right. We don't have many options now and we're on the clock. What's it gonna be, Mr. President? We strike now or we're back to the drawing board?" Steven asked while the President continued to think. "Mr. President?" The Director of Central Intelligence asked as he everyone else wait for the President's decision. After a few seconds, the President makes his decision. "All right then" The President says off screen and Rouge smiles. The President then turns back to everyone. "Let's get this job done!" The President says before everyone gets up and prepares to leave. "Let's get you to the military base, Steven" The G.U.N Captain says, "Yes, sir!" Steven says as he and the G.U.N Captain were about to leave "This is it..." Steven says in his head.

At the Military Base, the sirens were blaring as soldiers were getting into their fighter jets. "Everyone, get ready to launch! Everyone, get ready to launch!" The announcer says from the speakers.

Back with Knuckles, he heard the sirens blared and watched from the mountains. "I wonder what's up now. Huh?" Knuckles asked as he saw a familiar figure.

Back at the Military Base, Steven was running towards a fighter jet.

Back with Knuckles, he gasped a bit. "Wait a minute. Is that Steven? What's he doing there?" Knuckles asked himself.

Back at the Military Base, Steven reached to his fighter jet. "Here it is!" Steven says before observing it. "Time to see if I can get my piloting skills to the next level!" Steven says before he jumps up and lands on the piloting seat. "Okay, 1. Seat Belt" Steven says before he put the seat belt on. "Check, 2. Helmet" Steven says before he puts his helmet on. "Check, 3. Gas mask" Steven says before he puts the gas mask on. "Check, 4. Parachute" Steven says before he gripped his parachute backpack on his back. "Check, up Engine" Steven says before he started the fighter jet with the hatchet closing and engine revving. "Check, 6. Check to make sure everything is functioning properly" Steven says before he checked the joysticks, the buttons, and the lights. "Check, 7. Check missiles and turret guns to see if fully loaded" Steven says before he checked the storage on the turrets and missiles and they were signaled full on the radar map. "Check, 8. Turn radio on" Steven says before he turned the radio on. The radio made static noises a bit. "Check, 9. Observe surroundings for clearance" Steven says as he looked at the runway to see it was cleared. "Check, 10. Put it on flight when I leave the runway. Finally, 11 and 12. Take action and don't fail" Steven says before he gives a big sigh.

At the ocean, three Navy ships were speeding towards their location.

At a island in a jungle not far from Dr. Eggman's base, a few G.U.N agents were monitoring Dr. Eggman's Fortress from afar.

Back at the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were watching TV again. "Now, folks, let's see how a single application of V10 stain remover handles this gooey grease stain... Wow! Look at that!" A man says from the tv off screen as a woman next to him used a cleaning product to clean the center of the dirty circle on a board. The crowd then cheers while the man continues talking. "That's rad!" Decoe says, "Let's call and order some!" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman mumbles a bit. "I wish that stuff got rid of infomercials too" Dr. Eggman says, "Just think… You'll save a fortune with just one bottle of" the man says from the TV off sceen before the TV started lagging. "They found a Chaos Emerald buried in a corn field near Tingaling Villa!" a man says from the speaker as the TV changes to two guards holding a shovel and pickaxe with flowers between them. "That Chaos Emerald!? What it'd say?" Dr. Eggman asked and growls before he goes closer to the TV and listens as the TV continues to static."Yes, near Tingaling Villa! A giant jet landed there, and they're starting to dig right now. It's near…" A Woman's voice says from the TV off screen before the TV changes back to the cleaning channel."Call in the next 10 minutes and receive a bonus bottle at no extra cost" The man says from the TV off screen before Dr. Eggman pushes a button to change it to the slot machine. "Bring the cards to me!" Dr. Eggman says, "Here you are, Doctor" Decoe says as Dr. Eggman takes the cards and checks them. "Now, then" Dr. Eggman says as he looks at them, but can't decided. "I'm not sure" Dr. Eggman says and he decided to put the cards in a slot. Dr. Eggman then pulls a lever and the computer will decide like it's a slot machine. "Come on!" Dr. Eggman says as the slots stop on all 3 and shows a robot named E-35 Funfun. "Ah! Funfun, perfect!" Dr. Eggman says as he stands up and points at the TV.

Back outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, a door begins to open from the grass.

Back inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the doors reveal E-35 Funfun. E-35 Funfun starts up it's engine before it drives towards the exit.

Back outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress. E-35 Funfun come out and flies in the sky before Dr. Eggman laughs off screen. Dr. Eggman then flies next to E-35 Funfun with his Egg Mobile.

Back at the island afar, a G.U.N agent see Dr. Eggman and E-35 Funfun leaving the Fortress with his binoculars. "There he goes. Get ready to mobilize!" A G.U.N agent says.

Back at the Military Base, the word was given and Steven along with other G.U.N soldiers were about to take off. "Alright, troops. Let's fly!" Steven says as his fighter jet along with other fighter jets run on the runway. "Here we go!" Steven says before he lifts his handles and flies in the skies along with the other fighter jets. "Squadron A is away! Squadron B, get set for your run on the island!" A man says from the speaker off screen.

Back with as Knuckles, he was close to the gate underneath a speaker. "Squadron B, get set for your run on the island!" A man says from the speaker off screen, "They're attacking Eggman's base. I've gotta help Steven" Knuckles says.

At a field in Tingaling Villa, Mr. Stewart was driving as he was heading to where the high tech goggles were on the map.

Back inside the X-Cyclone, the Green Chaos Emerald continued to glow.

Back in the corn field, Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances were using shovels to try and dig out the Chaos Emerald. "It must be deep!" Tails says, "Just keep digging!" Chris says until they hear a jet noise. "Huh?" Amy, Tails, Chris and Frances asked, "What's that?" Frances asks, "Sounds like a jet?" Amy says before a shadow flies past them. They all gasped as they see E-35 Funfun land behind the X-Cyclone. "Who's that!?" Frances asked before Dr. Eggman flies next to E-35 Funfun. "Oh, no. It's Dr. Eggman!" Chris says, "Do something" Amy says before Tails nodded and went inside the X-Cyclone. "Have you found my Chaos Emerald yet?" Dr. Eggman asked as the X-Cyclone makes a 180 turn. "We're not gonna give it to you!" Tails says, "That's right!" Amy says, "Very well, I'll just take it then" Dr. Eggman says, "Hey, I better find a phone and call Sonic!" Chris says, "Tell him to hurry!" Amy says, "Come on, Frances!" Chris says, "Okay!" Frances says before Chris grabbed her hand and they ran off. "Go! Get them, Funfun!" Dr. Eggman says as he stands up and points forward. "Stop them, XCyclone!" Amy says, "Let's go!" Tails says before transforming the X-Cyclone back to the X-Tornado. The X Tornado then charges at E-35 Funfun. E-35 Funfun activates it's fan, causing the leaves and the X-Tornado to be pushed back a bit with Tails yelling off screen. Amy screams as she gets blown away. "AMY!" Tails says before the X-Tornado crashes on the ground. "You're blowing those brats away! Good work!" Dr. Eggman says as E-35 Funfun continues blowing everything as a layer of grass flies off and the X Tornado moves a bit. "Uhoh!" Tails says as the dirt started to be blown in the direction where Chris and Frances were running.

With Chris and Frances, they continue running before Chris looks behind him to see the dirt coming. "Look out!" Chris says as he and Frances lay on the ground as the dirt and grass blows away the farm houses.

Back with Dr. Eggman, he laughs at the whole thing. "This is the most "funfun" I've had in a long time" Dr. Eggman says as Tails was trying to get the X-Tornado backup on its feet while continuing to be pushed back a bit. "The control stick is jammed up..." Tails says as the wind continues blowing them.

Back with Chris and Frances, they continue to hang on before Chris's high tech goggles flies out of his face and went into the sky.

Back at the open field in Tingaling Villa, Mr. Stewart was looking around while driving. "That corn field must be around here somewhere" Mr. Stewart says before he looks at the map showing the location of the high tech goggles moving again. Mr. Stewart stops his car before getting out and looking around. "Huh? Wha?" Mr. Stewart asked and grumbles before getting back in and looking back at the map. "They're heading the other way. All right" Mr. Stewart says before he shifts gears, starts up the car and drives in the other direction.

Back at Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the fighter jets and Navy ships were coming into view

Back with Steven, he saw Dr. Eggman's Fortress and grabs the radio. "Visual Contact. Dr. Eggman's base incoming. Take aim. Over" Steven says before he points at Dr. Eggman's Fortress, "Ready...?" Steven asked before he gets a direct aim. "And..." Steven says before putting his his finger on the trigger. "Fire!" Steven says as his fighter jet along with the other fighter jets and the Navy ships launch their missiles and hit the Fortress with explosions.

Back inside the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Decoe and Bocoe feel the vibration from outside as some little debris falls on the floor. "What's happening!" Bocoe asked as he held his head. "It's an attack, you bolt brain! Those fighter planes are firing at us. And there are battleships too" Decoe says while pointing at the computer that was monitoring outside. "We will show them. Let us launch our counterattack!" Bocoe says.

Back outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, E-11 Beacon, E-13 Guardbot and E-14 Sneezer come outside. E-14 Sneezer lands on the ground and launches it's missiles near the Navy ships.

With a Navy Ship, the first gwo missiles land in between, causing big splashes before the last one hits the Navy Ship.

E-13 Gaurdbot fired at a Fighter jets before the fighter jet exploded.

Back with Steven, he gasped as he saw what happened. "We lost one bird!" Steven says before pulling out the radio. "Attention, troops! This is Private Hedgehog, first bird down! Repeat, first bird down! Over!" Steven says, "Roger, Private Hedgehog. Let's change to turrets! Over!" a man says from the speaker off screen, "Roger! Over!" Steven says before placing the radio back. "Time to switch gears!" Steven says before pressing a few buttons.

Steven's fighter jets and others fired their turrets at E-11 Beacon. E-11 Beakon charges at another fighter jet before the pilot uses the emergency lever to shoot upwards. E-11 Beakon then destroys the fighter jet before it explodes.

Back with Steven, he gasped again. "We just lost another one! Good thing the pilot popped out right on time!" Steven says before taking the radio again. "Another bird down! Repeat, another bird down! Pilot is unharmed! Repeat, pilot is unharmed by the eyes of Private Hedgehog! Over!" Steven says before he placed the radio back.

Steven's fighter jet performed a few maneuvers and fired while doing his best to dodge the bogeys.

Back at the island not far from Dr. Eggman's base, Rouge had a spy outfit on as she was watching the battle happening. "They're putting up quite a fight" Rouge says before she turns to Topaz and a lot of members of the special forces team. "Now, let's knock out the power" Rouge says and Topaz nodded. Rouge puts on her mask and gives the signal to move out as she does a head-start with Topaz and the rest of the special forces team agents following from behind.

Back in the President's Office, The President was rehearsing his speech in his office while the camera crew were getting everything ready for the announcement. The President clears his through and reads his lines on a paper. "My fellow civilians! I mean, my fellow citizens... Today, our millinery, no, our military sources..." The President says, "We go live in 15 seconds, Mr. President" The cameraman says off screen before the President adjusts his tie and clears his throat again.

Back in Station Square, everyone was doing their normal activity before promotion videos change to Scarlet who was giving the report in front of the White House. "We interrupt our regular broadcast to bring you this live emergency address from the President!" Scarlet says, getting everyone's attention as the TV's change to the President. "My fellow citizens... Today, our military forces launched an allout assault against the headquarters of Dr. Eggman!" the President says as he continues on.

Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, the news continued off screen. "Despite repeated warnings, Dr. Eggman has continued to..." the President says from the TV off screen.

Back in the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream and Cheese were also watching the news. "...Threaten the peace and wellbeing of our nation" The President says from the TV off screen. "We have to tell Sonic about this!" Cream says before she gets off the couch and runs to the door. "Chao! Chao, chao!" Cheese says as they were about to run, but tripped. "Chao!" Cheese says before they stands back up and runs after Cream.

Back at the assault on Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Steven's fighter jet, more fighter Jets and Navy Ships continue firing missiles at the base with explosions going off everywhere. "Fire!" Steven says off screen as he fired more missiles. "This conflict is unfortunate, but we cannot allow Dr. Eggman to achieve his goal of world domination. We must stop him now before it is too late" The President says from the TV off screen. E-11 Beacon, E-13 Guardbot and E-14 Sneezer continue firing at the fighter jets and Navy Ships before some more fighter jets and Navy Ships exploded in the sky and ocean.

Back with Steven, he takes his radio again. "Attention! More birds and ships down! Repeat, more birds and ships down! Private Hedgehog speaking, Over! " Steven says before he placed the radio back. "These bogeys just won't give up! I'll have to find a way to throw them off somehow!" Steven says as he continued maneuvering and firing.

Back at Dr. Eggman's Fortress, a bomb was set on a timer and after a few seconds, it exploded, making a pathway inside while Rouge, Topaz and the special forces team took cover from the top. Rouge then makes her way to the entrance.

Back inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Rouge enters along with Topaz and the rest of the special forces team following from behind. Rouge gives them the signal and they started walking in the hallways as more explosions were felt from outside.

Back at the Military Base, some fighter jets make their way on the runway while some soldiers were attaching the missiles on the fighter jets.

Inside one of the fighter jets, Knuckles was inside. "Hang in there, Steven. I'm coming" Knuckles says in his head.

Back outside the Military Base, the fighter jet Knuckles was in makes it's way on the runway. "Second Squadron, go!" The man says from the speakers off screen as the Fighter jets than flies to the skies along with others.

At the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic talks off screen. "Tails!" Sonic says off screen.

Inside the garage, Sonic, Cream and Cheese enter. "Hey, Tails. Let's go to... huh?" Sonic asked and Cream gasped as they look and see no one was in the garage as well as the X-Tornado. "How could he leave without you, Sonic!?" Cream asked before Chuck came down the stairs with coffee in his hand. "Hi there, Sonic. Tails went flying with Amy and Chris and his friend, Frances. I'm not sure where. They left quite a while ago, so I don't think they'll be gone too much longer" Chuck says and Sonic looked annoyed. "Lousy time for a joyride" Sonic says, "By the way, Sonic. Have you seen Steven? I haven't seen him since this morning and I didn't see him join Chris and the others" Chuck says, "He's doing something important right now, Chuck. He's fine" Sonic says in his head before he looked at a window. "Just hang in there for a few minutes, Steven"Sonic says in his head.

Back at the open field in Tingaling Villa, Mr. Stewart finds the high tech goggles and picks them up. "These are the goggles I gave Chris. I hope he's okay" Mr. Stewart says as he walks back to his car.

Back at the Corn field, E-35 Funfun was still blowing everything away while the X-Tornado was still stuck.

Back with Chris and Frances, they were still stuck on the ground. "The wind got us pinned down..." Chris says until he sees Amy pushing down pieces of sticks on the ground with her Piko-piko Hammer as she makes her way towards the Chris and Frances. "Amy!" Chris says, "Don't worry! I'm almost there! Are you two okay?" Amy asked, "Yes!" Chris and Frances said

Back with Tails, he got the X-Cyclone back on its feet and tried to gain control, but was struggling a bit. "Darn it!" Tails says in his head before he got the X-Cyclone facing E-35 Funfun. "I won't let you win, Eggman!" Tails says and Dr. Eggman laughs. "That measly machine of yours is no match for my robot!" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh, yeah!" Tails says and Dr. Eggman chuckles. "Let's compete to see whose robot rules. Knocking the wind out of your puny XCyclone will be a breeze!" Dr. Eggman says before he snaps his fingers, causing the fan on E-35 Funfun to blow faster and stronger, pushing the X- Cyclone a bit. Dr. Eggman then laughs again. "It seems Tails is in way over his head" Dr. Eggman says as Tails tries to fight the wind, but the X-Cyclone backs up and gets pushed down by a big dusk of dirt. The gust of dirt then pushes the X-Cyclone in the air, causing Tails to scream as he and the X-Cyclone were pushed in the air.

Back at the open field in Tingaling Villa, Mr. Stewart sees upcoming pile of leaves. "Huh?" Mr. Stewart asked before the leaves block his view. Mr. Stewart gasped from this. "I can't see!" Mr. Stewart says before stopping the car and the car gets pushed back. "It's like a tornado!" Mr. Stewart says as more leaves land on his windshield. Mr. Stewart pulls out his phone and a device out of his pocket. Mr. Stewart puts both the phone and the device close to his mouth. "Excuse me, is this the Thorndyke residence?" Mr. Stewart asked.

Outside of the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Sonic and Cream were seen sitting on bean bags from a open window. "Yes, that's right... Sorry, what did you say!? Speak up!" Chuck says off screen.

In Chuck's room, Chuck was on the phone. "They're at Tingaling Villa? Thanks a lot! I'll send someone after them right away" Chuck says before hanging up. "Who is that, Grandpa?" Cream asked, "He wouldn't say who he was" Chuck says before facing Steven. "Chris needs your help at Tingaling Villa" Chuck says and Sonic gets up. "Right" Sonic says.

Back outside of the garage, Sonic runs off and leaves.

Sonic then runs on the streets and a screen split shows Steven flying his fighter jet.

Fu-tu-re (ミ・ラ・イ, Mi-ra-i)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! As I continued fighting off Dr. Eggman's E-Series robots along side the Air Force and the Navy, Sonic arrives in time to save Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances from Dr. Eggman and his E-Series robot. They then found Yellow Chaos Emerald, but was shortly stolen by Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman makes his way back and was greeted by the battle happening. Sonic and the others joined in shortly and we all worked together to put an end stop to this madness. Meanwhile inside Dr. Eggman's base, Rouge, Knuckles, Topaz and the rest of the Special Forces team infiltrated the base and planted the bomb, but as they were about to leave, they were suddenly locked in! This isn't good! If that bomb goes off, then everyone inside and near the base will be incinerated in an instant! I can't let that happen! I have to end this battle and war quickly once and for all before it's over for everyone on Earth! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Attack on the Eggman Base!
