At Station Square, Danny, Albert, Elmer and everyone else were watching the President's speech on TV. "My fellow citizens, the assault against the headquarters of Dr. Eggman has begun. Our military forces will press on until Eggman is no longer a threat to the world. We will not fail. Dr. Eggman must be stopped now!" the President says as the TV changes to the Fighter Jets zooming flying in the skies. "Woah, this will be a heavy duty fight..." Danny says.
Attack on the Eggman Base! (Part 2) (Beating Eggman, Part 2)
At the assault of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, more fighter Jets and Navy ships continue heading to Dr. Eggman's Fortress.
With Steven, he continued firing the turrets and missiles from his fighter jet.
At Dr. Eggman's Fortress, more missiles were being launched.
Back with Steven, he saw the incoming missiles. "Here we go!" Steven says as he dodged and destroyed the incoming missiles.
A fighter Jet that had Knuckles inside opened its doors from the bottom. Knuckles then waited as the wind was hitting his face. "Launching missile!" The pilot says as he launches the missile. Knuckles stands on the missile and rides it. "YEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAWWW!" Knuckles says while laughing and dodging the other missiles as the missile makes its way towards the Fortress.
Back with Steven, he noticed the missile Knuckles was on. "Wait, what's that on that missile?" Steven asked as he got a closer look to see Knuckles. Steven then gasped. "Knuckles!? What's he doing here!? I better go get him!" Steven says before he turns the joy stick.
Back with Knuckles, he turns around to see Steven's fighter jet get close to him. "Wait, is that...?" Knuckles asked before he gets a closer look of Steven's face underneath the helmet and gas mask. "That's Steven!" Knuckles says before he jumps off his missile and lands on Steven's fighter jet. Steven then noticed Knuckles on his fighter jet. "Knuckles!' Steven says before he saw more fire power and missiles coming. "Whoa!" Steven says as he maneuvered his fighter jet to avoid the fire power and missiles while Knuckles yells a bit. "I better let him in!" Steven says before he opens the hatchet window. Knuckles gets in and sits in the back set before Steven closes the capsule window. "Hey, Knuckles!" Steven says from the radio off screen. "Huh?" Knuckles asked as he looked around before spotting a radio. "Press the button on the radio to talk and remove your finger from the button to listen!" Steven says from the radio off screen before Knuckles picks the radio and presses the button. "Steven, what in the world are you doing here?" Knuckles asked, "I'm working for the Government to attack Dr. Eggman's base!" Steven says, "The Government? Why?" Knuckles asked, "Because I setting things right for me, Sonic and everyone else! Including you, Knuckles!" Steven says, "Including me?" Knuckles asked, "Yes, I've been working so hard to get this far to stop Dr. Eggman and I'm not giving up on this!" Steven says, "Well, okay then, but does Sonic know what's going on?" Knuckles asked, "Yes, I spoke to him about this this morning and he agreed to let me do this! He also said when he gets the chance, he and the others will come and help me with the rest!" Steven says, "Alright then! But until then, I'm gonna help you with this!" Knuckles says, "Thanks, Knuckles! What do you need me to do?" Steven asked, "Get me close to the tower of Eggman's base, then open the window to let me jump out and I'll handle the rest!" Knuckles says, "You got it, Knuckles! Hang on, I'm going to do a quick 180!" Steven says as he makes a turn on his fighter jet while Knuckles hangs on to his seat. As they were heading to the tower, Knuckles was ready to jump out. "Alright! I'm ready to jump out!" Knuckles, "Here we go!" Steven says as he opened the hatchet window. Knuckles then stands up from his seat. "I'm going in! Be careful, Steven!" Knuckles says, "You too, Knuckles! Good luck!" Steven says before Knuckles jumps out the fighter jet while Steven closes the capsule window and continue with the action.
Knuckles glides towards the tower and uses his fist to hang on to the tower of the base while a missile explodes from somewhere and hangs on. Knuckles then started to climbs up.
Inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Rouge, Topaz and the Special Forces team were still running in the hallway until Rouge noticed something and stopped running. "Hold it...!" Rouge says as she holds her hand out, causing everyone to stop running. "Why did we stop?" Topaz asked, "Because we're about to get a visit from Eggman's welcome wagon" Rouge says as they look forward to see an E-12 Behemoth stepping towards them. "I'll take it!" Rouge says as she charges at E-12 Behemoth. "Rouge!" Topaz says while the Special Forces team looked surprised.
At the open field in Tingaling Villa, the wind continues with leaves flying around as Mr. Stewart's car skidded while it was getting pushed. "Poor Chris and Frances they're out here too...! This is terrible" Mr. Stewart says.
At the corn field, the X-Cyclone crash lands on the ground while E-35 Funfun was taking a few steps forward as it continued blowing everything with it's fan. Amy, Chris and Frances were hanging on to their dear life as the wind kept blowing leaves away. "We can't stay here!" Frances says, "Just hang on!" Chris says, "Frances, get down now!" Amy says before Frances lost her grip. Chris tried to get Frances, but couldn't until Amy grabs her hand and brings her back to the ground. "Stay down and don't try any more stunts!" Amy says, "Right. I... I'm Sorry!" Frances says as they continue to hang on. "Hey, how's Tails?" Chris asked, "I think he may be unconscious..." Amy says. Tails was passed out from inside the X-Cyclone. Then a vibration was felt and Tails opened his eyes tiredly. "Hey, Tails!" Chris says as E-35 Funfun's foot was about to stand on X-Cyclone while Tails had his eyes closed. E-35 Funfun then stepped on the X-Cylone. Dr. Eggman then laughs from above. "That's right, Funfun! Show that furry urchin who's in charge! Put your foot down!" Dr. Eggman says as E-35 Funfun puts more pressure on the X-Cyclone while Tails whimpered Dr. Eggman laughing.
Back at the open field in Tingaling Villa, Sonic runs pass Mr. Stewart's car while fighting against the wind before Mr. Stewart looked surprised. "Whoa!" Mr. Stewart says while Sonic kept running.
Back at the corn field, E-35 Funfun continued to put more pressure on the X-Cyclone while Tails screamed from inside with tears in his eyes. Chris, Amy and Frances continued to hang on to the ground. "Tails!" Chris says as he turns around a bit. Dr. Eggman laughs again. "Ha ha! Tata, Tails! It's crunch time!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic speeds pass everyone with the others looking surprised. Sonic then stops and looks at Dr. Eggman, causing Dr. Eggman to look shock. "Ergh, it can't be!S... Sonic!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Heheh!" Sonic says as he chuckles before he jumps up. Sonic knocked E-35 Funfun, causing E-35 Funfun's foot to get off the X-Cyclone and for E-35 Funfun to crash on the ground. "Oh no!" Dr. Eggman says as he struggles with the wind blowing from E-35 Funfun's fan. "There he goes..." Chris says before Dr. Eggman screams and gets blown in the air. "Stop it, Funfun! Shut down your motorrrrrrr…." Dr. Eggman says until he was blasted out in the sky with a twinkle in the end. E-35 Funfun's fan stopped running and Tails took the chance to jump out of the X-Cyclone and go up to the others. "You've saved us all!" Tails says, "Yeah, yeah, but, Tails, why'd you wind up way out here?" Sonic asked, "We've found out that the third Chaos Emerald is here. Woah, that's right, I almost forgot!" Tails says before he digs in the dirt with Sonic and Amy laughing. "Easy, pal..." Sonic says. Chris then looked around. "Hey Sonic, where's Steven? I thought he would be here with you? Is he still training back home?" Chris asked, "Oh, Steven is-" Sonic says before the ground started to shake, getting the others attention as E-35 Funfun's eyes light up again. E-35 Funfun started getting back up, causing Tails to move his arms in panic. "Cool your jets, big guy! Just let him dig up what he came here for and we'll all go away!" Sonic says as E-35 Funfun's fan started running again. "Guess I'll have to knock the wind out of ya!" Sonic says as the wind starts to blow. E-35 Funfun stands up on its feet. Chris then climbs up to the X-Cyclone. "Sonic!" Chris says before as he presses a button on the screen map of the X-Cyclone and it shoots out a power ring. Sonic then catches it from behind. "Got it!" Sonic says before the ring glows in his hand and he does his powerful spin attack through E-35 Funfun. E-35 Funfun tumbled backwards a bit before stopping and for the fan to stop running again as it was now destroyed. Tails then digs out the Yellow Chaos Emerald and grabs it. "Oh, wow!" Tails says, "Why, Tails, you shouldn't have!" Dr. Eggman says off screen. This caused Tails to look confused and look around in confusion until a claw grabs the Yellow Chaos Emerald. "Aaaaaaah!" Tails says while everyone looks up to see Dr. Eggman laugh. "Eggman!" Chris says off screen Dr. Eggman puts the Yellow Chaos Emerald in his EggMobile and flies away in the sky with a twinkle in the end once again. Sonic and Tails look at the direction Dr. Eggman went. "Let's go get it back!" Sonic says as runs to the X-Cyclone. "Huh, yeah!" Tails says as he goes to the X Cyclone with others going in as well. "Right" Frances says as she jumps into her seat. "Frances!" Chris says off screen, getting Frances attention. "Huh? What?" Frances asked, "Umm, I think… It might be better if you stay here" Chris says, "How come, Chris?" Frances asked, "It's gonna be dangerous!" Chris says, "Hey, Chris!" Amy says off screen, getting Chris's attention. "You're not staying behind, are ya?" Tails asked as he and Amy were in their seats while Sonic was sitting on the tip. "All right! Let's just go!" Chris says as he gave up and sat in his seat. The X-Cyclone changed back to the X Tornado and took off in the skies. "Let's go get 'em!" Sonic says, "Here we come now, Steven. Just hold out for a few more minutes!" Sonic says in his head as they flew in the skies.
Back at the open field, Mr. Stewart gets out of his car and looks to see the X Tornado leaving with a surprised look on his face.
Back inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, E-12 Behemoth tried to attack Rouge, but Rouge jumped out the way and kept this up a couple of more times. "Hurry, set the charge!" Rouge says as Topaz plants the charges on E-12 Behemoth before moving quickly. "Okay!" Topaz says as they gave each other thumbs up. Topaz runs back to the Special Forces team and pressed a button, causing it to explode on E-12 Behemoth. E-12 Behemoth then broke through the floor. Rouge and Topaz give each other a high five.
In the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Bocoe and Decoe are watching the cameras of the exterior and interior of the base. "Our situation is becoming dangerous! Those soldiers have us outnumbered!" Decoe says, "We must formulate a new strategy quickly before they deactivate us!" Bocoe says as they see a red dot on the map heading to the Fortress's direction. "Another enemy ship is approaching! This one must not get through!" Bocoe says before he presses a few buttons. "Blast them!" Decoe says as he points forward with angry eyes.
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's base, missiles were being fired from the Fortress.
Back with Steven, he was observing all the action in the assault. "Things are getting really dangerous! I might have to tell the Air Force and the Navy to retreat if this keeps up!" Steven says as he was about to fire his turret at the missiles until he saw that the missiles were aiming somewhere else. "Huh?" Steven asked as he turns around to see the missiles aiming towards Dr. Eggman. "That's Dr. Eggman!" Steven says.
Dr. Eggman yells and dodges the incoming missiles. "Cease fire! It's me, you scrap heads!" Dr. Eggman says until he sees more missiles blowing up towards the Fortress. Dr. Eggman then chuckles. "Ergh… the President thinks he's got me in his sights! Hah!" Dr. Eggman says before he moves out the way from another missile. "Well, I hope you didn't rehearse a victory speech because I'm back in command now!" Dr. Eggman says before dodging more missles. "Hey, those are my missiles! Why? Why is this happening? Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked as he spotted Steven's fighter jet firing turrets at Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman yells and dodges the fire power. "Who dares to attack the all mighty powerful Dr. Eggman!?" Dr. Eggman asked,
Back with Steven, he switched gears. "Take this, Dr. Eggman!" Steven says as he fired his missiles .
Dr. Eggman yells and dodges the missiles again. "Just who is that that's attacking me?" Dr. Eggman asked as he gets a closer look to see Steven underneath the helmet and gas mask. "Wait a minute! That's that Hedgehog that's been fighting alongside with Sonic ever since we came to this world! Wait'll I get my hands on that him when I take full control again!" Dr. Eggman says as he dodges more missiles and fire power before heading inside the Fortress.
Back with Steven, he saw Dr. Eggman go inside. "No! He got inside! This is bad! Once he gets full control of his base, things are gonna get out of control! I have to call the Air Force and the Navy and tell them to fall back before this assault turns into the Danger Zone!" Steven says before he maneuvered his fighter jet.
Back in Station Square, everyone including Danny, Albert and Elmer were still watching the broadcast of the assault on the big TV. "The attack on Eggman's base appears to be failing. Wait, what's that?" Scarlet asked from the TV off screen and Danny looked confused. "A new aircraft is on the scene" Scarlet asked as the TV changes to the X Tornado flying in the skies. "Is that one of ours?" Scarlet asked on TV off screen before Danny recognizes the X-Tornado. "Ah, the X Tornado!" Danny says as Albert, Elmer and a few other people turn to Danny in confusion. "Tornado?!" A man asked, "Where did it come from?" A woman asked, "There's something on the nose of the craft. It's a blue..." Scarlet says from the TV off screen as the camera zooms into Sonic. "Blue... It can't be, a blue hedgehog?" Scarlet asked from the TV off screen, "It's Sonic!" Danny says, "Sonic?" a few people asked off screen before some of them turn to Danny. "Who is that dude?" A teenage boy asked, "Yeah, what's his name again?" a Woman asked, "His name is Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!" Danny, Albert, and Elmer said at the same time off screen.

In the skies, the X Tornado was getting close to the assault while Sonic chuckles as he gets ready. "Backups arrived, Steven!" Sonic says in his head as they get closer.
Back with Steven, he continued maneuvering and firing his fighter jet until he noticed another aircraft flying towards the assault. "Huh? That doesn't look like a fighter jet. Wait, is that-" Steven says as he gets a closer look of the X-Tornado. "That's the X Tornado! That means..." Steven says before he looks to see Sonic on the nose. "Sonic! They came just in time! I better get close to them!" Steven says before he turned his fighter jet and flew to the X-Tornado.
In the X Tornado, Tails and Amy see a fighter jet getting close to them. "Whoa! What's that pilot doing?" Tails asked, "Whatever he's doing, he's getting really close to us!" Amy says.
Back outside, Sonic saw the fighter jet getting close too. "Hold on, is that who I think it is?" Sonic asked as the fighter jet flies pass the X-Tornado.
Steven's fighter jet makes a 180 turn and then flew next to the X-Tornado.
Back inside the X-Tornado, Chris and Frances saw the fighter jet next to the X-Tornado. "Huh? Who's that next to us, Chris?" Frances, "I'm not sure" Chris says.
Steven waved at everyone in the X-Tornado while Sonic smiled as he recognized Steven.
Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails and Amy were confused. "Why's that pilot waving at us?" Tails asked, "I don't even know" Amy says, "Hey, Steven!" Sonic says off screen, causing Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances to gasped. "Steven!?" Tails, Chris, Amy and Frances asked at the same time.
Back with Steven, he chuckles nervously before picking up the radio and presses a button. "Air hog to X-Tornado...!" Steven says.
Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails looked around as he heard Steven's voice. "This is Private Steven speaking" Steven says from the radio off screen. Tails then picks up the radio. "Steven, what are you doing here?" Tails asked, "I'm helping take down Dr. Eggman's Fortress!" Steven says, "But how did you end up in an aircraft?" Amy asked, "It's because I'm working for the President now!" Steven says, causing Chris and Frances to gasped. "The President!?" Chris and Frances asked at the same time. "How did that happen?" Amy asked, "We can talk about all this later" Sonic says off screen.
Back outside, Sonic sees they were getting close to the assault. "Right now, Steven has a job to do and we're gonna do our best to help him get it done, okay?" Sonic asked, "Okay!" Chris, Frances, Tails and Amy said at the same time off screen. "Alright!" Sonic says,
Back with Steven, he continues to talk through the radio. "Sonic, Dr. Eggman managed to escape the action and enter his base! I'm afraid that when he takes command, things will get very dangerous out here!" Steven says.
Back outside, Steven continues to talk off screen. "I'm gonna call the Air Force and the Navy to fall back! Also I managed to help Knuckles get inside the base earlier so if possible, maybe we can get you close enough to get inside the base while I keep everything else outside occupied until then!" Steven says from the radio off screen. "Alright! sounds like a plan. What do you say, Tails?" Sonic asked, "We can help Steven while you handle the rest, Sonic. So I say let's do it! Chris, Amy, Frances, you guys ready?" Tails asked, "Yeah!" Chris, Amy and Frances said at the same time off screen. "Then let's do this!" Sonic says the X-Tornado and Steven's fighter jet were almost at the assault.
Back with Steven, he took out the radio and makes a call to the troops. "Attention! Private Hedgehog speaking! Dr. Eggman has retreated inside his base! Everyone fall back immediately because this assault is about to get more dangerous than ever! I repeat! This assault is about to get more dangerous than ever! Leave the rest to me now! Retreat immediately! I Repeat! Retreat Immediately!" Steven says and puts the radio back. The radio then statics a bit. "Understood, Steven! We're calling out the Air Force and the Navy right now! You heard him, troops! Fall back, everyone! Repeat! Fallback immediately! We're sorry that we have put the fate of our world into your hands, Steven! We didn't give it our all like we planed to!" A pilot says from the radio. Steven picks up the radio again. "Don't say anything like that! You all did more than enough and that's a big accomplishment I would say as a fellow member of a team! I'll make sure your action to stop evil will always be remembered! You can all count on it! So I thank you all for fighting by my side and believing in anyone that's from a different place is considered a someone that can be more than be originally thought of. I am more than happy to have all of you fight by my side until the end! I wish you all a bright future of Earth!" Steven says. The radio goes static again. "Thank you, Steven! Thank you for everything you're doing for us! You've made us proud as we are to you! We are very happy to have a soldier like you to help fight for all of us! When this is over, we'll make sure we tell the President what a supportive, strong and brave leader and member you've been! We wish you luck until the very end, soldier! Good luck!" the pilot says from the radio. Steven looks behind to see the rest of the fighter jets and Navy ships starting to turn around and leave the assault. "It's all up to me now!"Steven says in his head.
Back inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Rouge, Topaz and the Special Forces team were still running in the halls as Rouge spotted something. "There!" Rouge says as they make their way to a door, but before they could do anything, another E-12 Behemoth appears behind them and gets close to the the,. "There's another one?" Topaz asked, "Don't sweat it, sweetie, I'll handle this robot... You lead the team to the generator room and set the charges!" Rouge says and Topaz nodded her head. "All right guys, follow me...!" Topaz says as she leads the Special Forces team to another direction while Rouge charges at the E-12 Behemoth and did her best to distract it. Suddenly, a group E-13 Guardbots appear from the floor, blocking Topaz and the Special Forces team's way. The E-13 Guardbots aim their turrets at them. This caused Topaz to get worried. Rouge continued dealing with the E-13 Behemoth. "Missed me, slowbot!" Rouge says as she dodges another hit until E-13 Behemoth grabs her with its claw. Rouge then gets mad. "Sheesh!" Rouge says before she breaks free, causing pieces to fly everywhere. Rouge then looks to where everyone else are. "Topaz!" Rouge says as she sees the E-13 Guardbots firing while Topaz and the Special Forces team got on the floor. Then suddenly, Knuckles punches through a wall and charges at the E-13 Guardbots. "Knuckles!?" Rouge asked as Knuckles makes his way to the E-13 Guardbots by wall jumping. Knuckles then attacks them all with punches and kicks. AnE-13 Guardbot shoots out sparks before it falls on the ground. Topaz, Rouge and the Special Forces Team go up to Knuckles. "Wow, thank you. You're one of Sonic and Steven's friends, aren't you?" Topaz asked, "Me and Sonic are not friends, but Steven is my friend" Knuckles says while Rouge turns away from everyone. "But... you do know Sonic, don't you?" Topaz asked, "Maybe. By the way, What are you and your crew trying to do here anyway? I saw Steven and the other fighter jets were attacking the base from outside, but what are you guys doing here?" Knuckles asked, "We came here to destroy Eggman's base" Rouge says, making everyone look at her while Rouge walks up to Knuckles "In fact, we're on our way to sabotage the generator room right now" Rouge says, "There's no way you could do it! That room will be impossible to get into" Knuckles says, "Really?" Rouge asked, "We have to try" Topaz says, "You'll fail, unless you have me along. I can't wait to see the look on Sonic's face when he finds out that I helped defeat Dr. Eggman while he missed out on the glory. That will mess with his ego" Knuckles says, "Sounds like you've got an inferiority complex!" Rouge says off screen, "Huh? I have a what?" Knuckles asked, "Oh, nothing. Never mind, Knuckles" Rouge says before giggling.
Back in the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman was yelling at Decoe and Bocoe while Decoe and Bocoe jumped and waved their arms in panic. "That was me! You tincan turkeys nearly wiped out the evilest genius in the universe! Bah!" Dr. Eggman says before he sits down on his chair and looks at the monitor screen that shows the X Tornado flying and the Navy Ships leaving. "Sorry, doctor" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same while Dr. Eggman sees Sonic, the X Tornado and Steven's fighter jet getting closer. "I'll wipe that smirk off Sonic's face and I'll shoot that other Hedgehog out of the sky! This time, I'm not holding back!" Dr. Eggman says as he presses so many buttons.
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's base, missiles from the ground elevated outside from the ground.
Back in the skies, Sonic sees the missiles from the ground. "What's that?" Chris asked, "They're Dr. Eggman's missiles!" Steven says, "Hang on tight, Chris" Tails says.
Back inside the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Decoe and Bocoe get scared of Dr. Eggman as a flash happened. "Uh-oh, Look out" Decoe says, "This time, the doctor means business" Bocoe says before he and Decoe panic while a function was activated and a controller appears. Dr. Eggman laughs and takes aim at the X Tornado. Dr. Eggman's seat turns as Dr. Eggman continues to laugh before pressing a button rapidly.
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's base, the missiles all over the ground of the base start firing.
Back in the skies, the X-Tornado and Steven's fighter jet dodge them while Frances gets scared and shouts.
Back with Steven, he saw the incoming missles getting close. "Not on my watch!" Steven says as he fired his turret and destroyed some incoming missiles.
Sonic then whistled. "Nice one, Steven!" Sonic says, "Thanks!" Steven says from the radio off screen.
Back in the main room of Dr. Eggman's base, Dr. Eggman's chair was spinning around while laughing and firing more missiles as Decoe and Bocoe watch him. "How's that?!" Dr. Eggman asked
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's base, more missiles popped out of the ground.
Back in the skies, Steven's fighter jet maneuvers while dodging the missiles and the X Tornado goes down and spins a bit while dodging the missiles. "Piece of cake!" Sonic says. "Here we go! Round 2!" Steven says as he fired his turret and destroyed more incoming missiles. "Piece of cake!" Sonic says, "We're gonna crash!" Chris says, "Relax! We're fine!" Tails says.
Back in the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Dr. Eggman continues laughing like a maniac as he continues spinning and launching more missiles. "Move it! Move it! Move it! Move it!" Dr. Eggman says.
Back in the skies, more missiles flew in the skies.
Back in Station Square, everyone including Danny, Albert and Elmer continue watching the broadcast as it shows the X Tornado flying. "They're done for!" A man says, "No! They're gonna make it through okay!" Danny says.
Back in the skies, the missiles were flying straight to the X Tornado while Steven's fighter jet went after the missiles. "There's more coming!" Amy says, "Well, watch this...! Hey, Steven! Wanna do a double attack?" Tails asked while holding the radio.
Back with Steven, he heard Tails and picked up the radio. "Sure, Tails! Let's give it a try!" Steven says.
Back in the skies, Steven's fighter jet went next to the X Tornado. Both aircrafts did a 180 turn and they fired their fire power, causing the missiles to blow up in the sky. "Yay!" Frances says while Chris is getting dizzy. Sonic laughs as he lets his arms out. "Good thinking, Tails!" Steven says from the radio off screen. "Thanks, Steven!" Tails says.
Back in Station Square, Sonic smiles on the big TV. "Pretty cool, huh?" Sonic asked, "Go Sonic!" Danny says as the crowd cheers for Sonic. "Sonic! Sonic! Sonic! Sonic! Sonic! Sonic! Sonic!" the crowd says as they cheer. "But who's that soldier fighting alongside him?" A woman asked, "Yeah, who ever that is, he's awesome!" A man says. "It appears that the blue Hedgehog has received assistance from one of the President's aircraft pilots. The pilot appears to be..." Scarlet says from the TV off screen as the camera zooms in to show Steven's face underneath the gas mask and helmet. "A... Another Hedgehog!?" Scarlet asked from the TV off screen. Danny recognizes Steven inside the fighter jet. "Steven's there too!" Danny says, "Steven?" some people in the crowd asked, "Who's that? Is he friends with Sonic?" A woman asked, "Yes" Elmer says, "That's Steven! Steven the Hedgehog!" Albert says and the crowd cheers once again.
Back in the skies, The X-Tornado and Steven's fighter jet continued flying. Suddenly, a missile popped out of nowhere and it looked like it was about to hit the X-Tornado.
Back with Steven, he saw this and gasped before picking up the radio.
Back inside the X-Tornado, the radio went static. "Tails, look out!" Steven says from the radio off screen. "Huh?" Tails asked as he looked around.
Back in the skies, Sonic turned around and saw the incoming missile. "Tails, move!" Sonic says, "Okay!" Tails says. Tails moved the X-Tornado just on time, but as he did, the missile didn't change directions as it was aiming at Steven's fighter jet.
Back with Steven, he didn't see the missile following the X-Tornado. "Huh? Where did it go?" Steven asked until he heard a beep coming from his radar map. It showed that the missile was aiming at Steven's fighter jet. "Uh oh!" Steven says.
Back in the skies, Steven's fighter jet maneuvered, but the missile was getting closer and closer. "Lose it... Lose it. Lose it!" Steven says in his head.
Back in the skies after a few seconds, the missile hit one of the engines on Steven's fighter jet.
Back with Steven, he hit his head against the dashboard. "Ow!" Steven says before rubbing his head and gasping. "Oh no! I'm hit!" Steven says as he tried to gain control.
Back in the skies, Steven's fighter jet had fire and smoke coming out of one of the engines and started to descends down a bit. As the X-Tornado flew normally again, Sonic saw Steven's fighter jet in flames and gasped. "Steven!" Sonic says, getting everyone else's and they all gasp. "Oh no!" Chris says, "He's gonna crash!" Frances says, "He needs to get out of there!" Amy says, "Steven!" Tails says.
Back with Steven, he kept trying to gain control, but couldn't. "Not good! Not good! I've gotta get out of here!" Steven says as he tried activating the ejection, but the ejection was jammed. "It's jammed! Come on! Come on!" Steven says as he kept pressing a few times while looking to see that he was about to hit near Dr. Eggman's Fortress. "Come on! Come on!" Steven says as he kept pressing it and he was almost close to crashing. Steven looked outside as he continue pushing the ejection. "That's it! I'm done for! I thought I had the winning chance, but it looks like my winning streak has run out... I'm sorry, everyone... I'm sorry, Sonic..." Steven says as he closed his eyes while pressing the ejection.
Back outside, Steven's fighter jet was about to hit the bottom section of Dr. Eggman's Fortress. Suddenly, Steven's seat was sprung in the air. As Steven gasped and opened his eyes, the fighter jet crashed and exploded with Steven yelling from the explosion smoke.
Back in the skies with the X-Tornado, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances saw the explosion and gasped. "Steven!" Sonic says, "Did he get out of there?" Tails asked as the smoke cleared up a bit to show the destroyed fighter jet crashed at the bottom section of Dr. Eggman's Fortress with Steven nowhere to be seen. "I don't see him!" Amy says, "Is he..." Chris says as he closes his eyes while Frances looked nervous. Sonic continues looking at the crash site before clenching his fist with a serious look. "Tails, get me close to the tower and make an entrance! Now!" Sonic says, "O-Okay!" Tails says nervously as the X Tornado fires a circle on the tower of Dr. Eggman's Fortress. "Hey, Sonic, will that work?" Tails asked, "Perfect!" Sonic says before he jumps off the X-Tornado and glides down. Sonic then smashes through the tower.
Back inside Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Sonic breaks into a hallway and recovers from the crash. "You're gonna get it now, Eggman!" Sonic says in his head before he runs in the hallways.
In another room, Sonic smashes through a door and enters before stopping as he saw something. "That's close enough...! It was a fluke that you pushed it this far! But now your lucky streak is over!" Dr. Eggman says as the doors in front of Sonic open to reveal a big robot named E-18 Guerra-Hard as it appeared in a red spotlight. Sonic looked at E-18 Guerra-Hard while Dr. Eggman goes on E-18 Guerra-Hard's head. "Ready, hedgehog!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "You bet, Dr. E!" Sonic says before E-18 Guerra-Hard tries to punch Sonic. but Sonic jumps out the way and charges at E-18 Guerra-Hard.
At another hallway of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the destroyed fighter jet made a hole through the tower and caused a bit of damaged in the hallways. There was also a parachute cover next to the jet. Suddenly, a moan was heard while there was movement underneath the fighter jet. Steven lifted the parachute cover while coughing. Steven had a bit of cuts, scapes, blood and smoke dirt all over him. Steven struggled a bit to get out if the parachute, but managed to get out. Steven almost fell, but held onto something in support while holding his stomach a bit. "I need a drink..." Steven says before he sits down and takes off his gas mask, pilot helmet and parachute bag and throws them on the floor. Steven continues to cough and pant for air. "I-I can't- I can't believe I survived that..." Steven says with a weak voice. Steven grunted as he struggled to get up, but managed to get up while ignored the pain and injuries he has. "No time to sit around... I've gotta find Dr. Eggman and... And end this before... Before the charges that Rouge, Topaz and the... Special Forces Team planted,... Explode and destroy... the entire base..." Steven says before he went to his parachute and went underneath it. Steven went to his seat and took out his wrist mounted grapple gun and blaster weapon from under the seat. "Good thing... I kept these in a safe place... Just in case..." Steven says as he coughed a little bit before putting the wrist mounted grapple gun on. Steven held on to his blaster weapon and gets out from under the parachute. "Alright... Let's... finish this..." Steven says as he tried his best to run while ignoring the pain in the hallways.
In the generator room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the Special Forces team were planting the charges all over the area before an agent goes up to Topaz. "The demolition charges are all set, Ma'am" An agent says as he saluted. "Good work!" Topaz says as she saluted and the agent went back to work. "Well, looks like we're ready, Rouge" Topaz says until she noticed Rouge wasn't with them. "Hey, where did Rouge go?" Topaz asked as Knuckles went up to her. "I saw her go that way" Knuckles says pointing up to the room where Rouge, Steven and Topaz escaped from the last time. "What in the world is she doing there?" Topaz asked off screen.
With Rouge, she was looking for the Cyan Chaos Emerald in the room. "Aww, Eggman must be keeping the Chaos Emerald someplace else now, now" Rouge says, "Hey, Rouge!" Topaz says off screen, "Yeah" Rouge says.
Back in the generator room, Topaz heard Rouge. "Get down here! We've gotta go!" Topaz says, "Go on, I'll catch up!" Rouge says, "We need you!" Topaz says.
Back with Rouge, she heard Topaz. "There's something I've gotta take care of first!" Rouge says as there was a camera monitoring the room.
Back in the main room of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, Decoe and Bocoe were watching Rouge, Topaz, Knuckles and the Special Forces team from the cameras from the monitor. "They appear to be working on opposite sides. But are any of them working for us?" Decoe asked, "Well, whoever they are. I hope so" Bocoe says, "You should lock them all in until we can figure out who is who" Decoe says, "Good idea" Bocoe says as he presses a button.
Back with Rouge, she gasped in shock. "Ah!" Rouge says as she saw the entrance to the room she was in close. "Uhoh, not good…" Rouge says as Topaz climb up to the room. "Hey, what are you up to, Rouge?" Topaz asked, "They locked us in with this thick sealed door..." Rouge says as Topaz, Knuckles and the Special Forces team go up to Rouge and look shock. "But not for long!" Rouge says as she goes and kicks the door a few times before getting tired and stopping. "I can't kick through!" Rouge says, "Leave it to me!" Knuckles says as he punches the door, but it doesn't do anything. "Huh?! I didn't even make a dent" Knuckles says as he does more punches to the door, but it doesn't work and he sweat drops a bit.
Back in the generator room, the charges were gonna blow in less than 10 minutes.
Back in the sealed room, Topaz looked at her watch before turning to an agent. "Is there time to defuse the charge?" Topaz asked and the agent shakes his head, causing Topaz and another agent to gasp a bit. Topaz then falls to her knees. "Well... That's it…" Topaz says, "We're not giving up yet!" Knuckles says, "He's right! Together, we've have a fighting chance" Rouge says as she and Knuckles face the sealed door. "Ready?" Rouge asked before she and Knuckles start punching and kicking the sealed door while grunting.
Back with Sonic, he charged at E-18 Guerra-Hard, but E-18 Guerra-Hard jumped out the way and kicked Sonic. Sonic yells in pain before hitting the ceiling. Sonic falls down before E-18 Guerra-Hard kicks Sonic again. Sonic then crashes into the wall.
Back with Steven, he heard and felt a vibration. "Whoa..." Steven says as he stopped before the vibration stopped. "I've gotta hurry..." Steven says as he continues running through the hallways.
Back in the room with Sonic, Dr. Eggman and E-18 Guerra-Hard, Dr. Eggman laughs. "He's crushed!" Dr. Eggman says as the smoke clears from Sonic with Sonic against the wall. "Not yet! I'm gonna make you pay for what you did to Steven!" Sonic says before he charges at E-18 Guerra-Hard again. "The pressure's on now, Sonic!" Dr. Eggman says before E-18 Guerra-Hard punches Sonic and slams him to the floor with it's hand. "Argh, I've gotten out of tighter squeezes!" Sonic says as he struggled a bit. "That's true, but this time, you've finally met your match. GuerraHard's the ultimate combat robot because it's got the ultimate power supply" Dr. Eggman says.
A clip shows the inside of E-18 Guerra-Hard as it had the Yellow and Cyan Chaos Emeralds inside. "Two Chaos Emeralds!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Sonic squeezes his head out of E-18 Guerra-Hard's hand a bit. "So that's it...!" Sonic says, "I've been looking forward to this Sonic..." Dr. Eggman says until a phone was ringing and he answers the phone. "Hello?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Umm... Sorry to bother you, Doctor, but we have a problem. A group of intruders is locked in the generator room... ...We're unable to determine whose side they're on!" Decoe says over the phone off screen. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked before pressed a button on his Egg Mobile to show Knuckles punching the door down in the other room from the screen. "KNUCKLES!? THOSE ARE OUR ENEMIES, YOU DUMB BOT!" Dr. Eggman says, "Ahh, then we will eliminate them!" Decoe says over the phone off screen, "What are they doing in the generator room anyway!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "I am not curtain, but they did mention something about demolition charges" Decoe says over the phone off screen, causing Dr. Eggman to look shocked. "THEY WHAT!?" Dr. Eggman asked. As Dr. Eggman was talking on the phone at the same time he answered, Steven eventually entered the room. Steven gasped a bit as he saw E-18 Guerra-Hard. "Great... How am I going to..." Steven says until he saw E-18 Guerra-Hard holding Sonic down. "Sonic...!" Steven says before he ran up to Sonic while Dr. Eggman presses a button in his Egg Mobile. "Sonic..." Steven says. Sonic looked at Steven and gasped. "Steven. How did you...?" Sonic asked, "It's okay, Sonic... I'm fine... I'll explain later... But right now... We gotta end this before... The whole Fortress... Blows up..." Steven says, "What do you mean blows up?" Sonic asked, "Charges... Are being set to... Blow up in the... Generator room... which will blow... the entire Fortress..." Steven says, "Alright, but are you sure you're up for this, Steven? Because you've been through a lot today and it looks like you're gonna pass out soon" Sonic says as he saw how injured Steven looked. "Yeah, Sonic..." Steven says as he fully catches his breath and cleans his face a bit. "I'll be just fine" Steven says with a smile. "Okay then" Sonic says as he smiled too.
Back in the sealed room, Knuckles and Rouge continue to punch and kick the door open while grunting.
Back in the generator room, the charges were gonna blow in 5 minutes.
Back to the sealed room, Topaz looked at her watch. "We're running out of time...!" Topaz says, "I won't give up!" Knuckles says as he and Rouge continued punching and kicking the door.
Back in the room with Sonic, Steven, Dr. Eggman and E-18 Guerra-Hard, Sonic and Steven looked up at Dr. Eggman as he spoke to Decoe on the phone. "This will be a cinch" Sonic says, "Do you have a plan?" Steven asked, "Well I was gonna ask if you could lift this hand a bit while I try to break free, but I don't want to over work you" Sonic asked, "Don't worry, Sonic. I don't mind. After all, you saved us so many times already, so now it's time one of us saves you" Steven says and Sonic smiles again Steven grunted as he started using his strength to lift the hand while Sonic pressed his hands against the floor. Sonic and Steven groaned as they tried to use all his strength to lift E-18 Guerra-Hard's hand from on top of Sonic. "After they set the bomb... They were closed in?" Sonic asked in his head, "Rouge, Knuckles, Topaz and everyone else, please hurry and escape..." Steven says in his head. After a few seconds, Sonic breaks out of E-18 Guerra-Hard's hand and he and Steven jump out the way. This caused Dr. Eggman to get mad. "Grrr, get Sonic!" Dr. Eggman says as Sonic and Steven separate and Sonic runs and charges at E-18 Guerra-Hard. "Run all you want! GuerraHard will still pulverize you!" Dr. Eggman says and Sonic laughs. "Whatever!" Sonic says as E-18 Guerra-Hard was about to kick Sonic, but suddenly, E-18 Guerra-Hard was getting tangled by a wired rope going around all over it's legs and body. E-18 Guerra-Hard was now tied on a wired knot. "What the-?" Dr. Eggman asked before he spotted Steven doing the tangled wire. "You!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before Steven lands next to Sonic. "My friends got me this far, and together we're gonna win! Let's get them, Steven!" Sonic says, "Right!" Steven says as he nodded before he and Sonic jump. "Get them!" Dr. Eggman says as Sonic and Steven land on E-18 Guerra-Hard's leg. Sonic and Steven lose their balance a bit before they run and jump towards E-18 Guerra-Hard's chest. "Gah! Stop them!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic breaks through E-18 Guerra-Hard with Steven following from behind. Sonic then grabbed the Cyan and Yellow Chaos Emeralds. "Yeahhehheh!" Sonic says while flying. "You got the Chaos Emeralds back!" Steven says as he flew too. "No... BRING THEM BACK!" Dr. Eggman says. Sonic clenches on the Yellow and Cyan Chaos Emeralds and they glow in Sonic's hands. As they glowed, Sonic also had a aura around him. "Finish it, Sonic!" Steven says before Sonic faces Steven. "Steven, catch!" Sonic says as he threw the Yellow Chaos Emerald to Steven. Steven catches it. "Huh? What the?" Steven asked as his body had an aura too. "Let's finish this together!" Sonic says, "Huh?" Steven asked, "It's time for you to shine, Steven. After everything you've done to help me, my friends, Chris and everyone else, it's time for the moment you show everyone the hero you are!" Sonic says before Steven gasped a bit. "Re-Really?" Steven asked, "Yeah! Show everyone the heroic hedgehog you were born to be! You ready?" Sonic asked. After a few seconds, Steven smiled. "Yes! Let's do this!" Steven says, "Alright! Then here goes, partner! When we join forces, the sky's the limit!" Sonic says as he and Steven spin around with both their left hands shining while holding the Chaos Emeralds in their right hands. After they clapped hands, a white aura surrounds them both. "DOUBLE BOOST!" Sonic and Steven said at the same time before forming a torpedo while spinning around and charging at E-18 Guerra-Hard. Sonic and Steven break E-18 Guerra-Hard again, causing Dr. Eggman to yell in panic. Sonic and Steven kept this up for a few times while E-18 Guerra-Hard was tumbling a bit. Sonic and Steven then blasted through a closed door. "No way!" Dr. Eggman says as E-18 Guerra-Hard started shooting out electricity. Dr. Eggman gets off of E-18 Guerra-Hard and flies away. "Oh no!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before E-18 Guerra-Hard explodes.
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the smoke from the explosion was seen from the top of the tower before Sonic and Steven started breaking through everywhere of the entire Fortress. Causing black smoke to fly everywhere.
Back in the generator room of Dr. Eggman's base, the charges were gonna blow in less than 3 minutes as the whole place started shaking.
Back in the sealed room, Topaz, Knuckles, Rouge and the Special Forces team looked up at the ceiling. "Ah, there's not much time to get out of here!" Topaz says, "We're still locked in" Rouge says, "Don't worry, I'll punch us out!" Knuckles says as he throws a powerful punch at the door, making a hole on the door that leads outside of the room. "All right" Knuckles says, "look out!" Rouge says as she pushes Knuckles out of the way as Sonic and Steven fly pass them and break through the door, causing a bigger hole on the door before bouncing on the floor and breaking through the ceiling. "What a show off Sonic is... Now he's gonna become a bad influence on Steven. Get off! I wanna fight too" Knuckles says, "Don't give me orders" Rouge says before she and Knuckles stand up while the Special Forces team leave the room. "I'm in charge of this operation. You follow my lead" Rouge says, "Yeah? Well, following you is what got us trapped to start with!" Knuckles says before Topaz went up to them. "You're cute when you're angry!" Rouge says, "We have to get out of here now!" Topaz says, causing the room to shake stronger while Knuckles and Rouge jumped a bit in shock before they all leave.
Back in the generator room, the timer on the charges timed up and it caused the charges to blow up on the entire generator room.
The explosion broke through the sealed room.
Back outside of Dr. Eggman's Fortress, the Special Forces team, Rouge, Topaz and Knuckles made it out. Topaz, Rouge and Knuckles turn back to see the Fortress glow with a bright light before getting on the ground while yelling.
The bright light got bigger while filling up the entire island.
Back on the ground, Knuckles, Topaz and Rouge continue shielding themselves before a gust of sand flies over them. Dr. Eggman's Fortress then started to incinerate and crumble to the ground with a strong wind, causing sand to fly all over the place.
Back in Station Square, everyone sees the bright light and explosion. Everyone cheers while throwing papers in the air. "But, Where are Sonic and Steven...?" Danny asked before Albert and Elmer turn to each other. "Yeah... Do you think they made it out of there okay?" Elmer asked.
At the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Chuck talks off screen. "That fireball's huge..." Chuck says off screen.
In Chuck's room, Chuck, Cream and Cheese were watching the explosion from Chuck's TV. "I hope Sonic and Steven weren't still in there" Chuck says before Cream and Cheese turn to Chuck while Cream points at the TV. "I bet we'll see them any second. Right, Cheese?" Cream asked, "Chao!" Cheese says as they flies up.
Back outside of what used to be Dr. Eggman's base, the-X Tornado was flying and there was another explosion. Sonic and Steven came out of the smoke with the Chaos Emeralds in their hands while flying. "Ha, ha!" Sonic says, "Woo hoo!" Steven says before they land on the X Tornado's nose and showed the Chaos Emeralds to the others in the X-Tornado. "Yeah!" Sonic says, "We did it!" Steven says, "Sonic! Steven!" Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances said at the same.
Back in Station Square, Sonic and Steven were on TV and everyone gives a big cheer for them. "Way to go!" Danny says as the crowd continues to cheer. "HERE I AM!" Sonic says from the TV. "Victory is ours!" Steven says from the TV as everyone continues cheering now that the world has been saved by Sonic the Hedgehog and Steven the Hedgehog.
At the White House, the X-Tornado was parked in front of the gate.
Inside the President's Office, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Chris, and Frances were watching Sonic, Steven, Rouge and Topaz being congratulated by the G.U.N Captain and G.U.N Commander. Steven was also aided for his wounds. "I gotta admit it, I had you all figured wrong. I thought you were just terrorist, but you all saved more lives today than you'll ever know. You lead us to a crazy scientific madman and helped us bring him down. This country owes you all an apology for the misunderstanding" The G.U.N Commander says, "Don't worry about it. We accepted everyone's apology since the beginning" Sonic says, "I never imagined I would be in the President's office" Chris says, "Yeah me neither" Frances says, "It must not be easy then, huh?" Tails asked, "Nope" Chris says, "I'm just glad that we're not gonna be treated as criminals anymore" Amy says, "Don't get too excited. We still have to go back home" Knuckles says, "Oh Knuckles. Don't be a downer. At least appreciate something for once in your life" Amy says, causing Tails, Frances and Chris to laugh a bit. "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Knuckles asked before they stopped. "Hey, but in the end, it all worked out well, right?" Tails asked, "I guess so" Knuckles says as he crossed his arms. "Alright. Now that we took care of this little issue, where's my reward? I was the one in charge of this whole operation so I deserve a little something special" Rouge says, "We will get to that in a moment, but first someone special wants to give his thanks to you all personally" The G.U.N Captain says before the President, the Director of Central Intelligence, Jerome and the Chairman step in the room. The President sits down on his chair as Jerome stands next to him while the Director of Central Intelligence and the Chairman go next to the G.U.N Captain and G.U.N Commander. "Mr. President" Topaz says as she, the G.U.N Captain, the G.U.N Commander, Rouge and Steven saluted at him. "Topaz, Rouge, Sonic, Steven, everyone, I have an announcement to give you all. It is that I - The President of the United States of America wants to honor Topaz, Rouge, Sonic and Steven, who have successfully assisted us on bringing down the notorious Dr. Eggman to justice and showing us the true heroes they are" The President says and he, The G.U.N Commander, the G.U.N Captain, the Director of Central Intelligence, the Chairman, Jerome, Chris, Frances, Tails and Amy applauded while Knuckles just watched. Sonic and Steven also fist bumped. "To recognizing the completion of their task, the nation has elected you to disown the following rewards" Jerome says, causing Rouge to gasped. "You hear that, Topaz? I'm gonna get all the jewelry I ever wanted" Rouge says, causing Topaz to roll her eyes. "Topaz" The President says and Topaz steps forward. "Mr. President" Topaz says as she salutes. "We hereby make you the Commander agent of G.U.N" The President says, causing Topaz to gasped. "Re-Really?" Topaz asked, "Yes, you've been working for G.U.N for a long while, you've proven yourself as one of our top best G.U.N agents of this country. So we are very grateful to have you as part of our team, and for that, we thought the newest Commanding agent would be the start. Do you accept?" The G.U.N Captain asked, "Yes- Yes! Thank you, Mr. President. It will always be an honor to serve you" Topaz says as she saluted and went back to her spot. "Rouge the Bat" The President says, "That's me" Rouge says as she steps forward a bit. "We herby offer you a permanent position as our agent of G.U.N" The President says, causing Rouge to gasp. "Wow! A permanent spot? My how astounding. But what made you think this?" Rouge asked, "Ever since we put you and Steven to help us scope out Dr. Eggman's base, we saw how reliable you really are. I know we all got in bad terms with you and Steven, especially from when you stole that diamond, but you proved to us that you're also capable to be an agent for G.U. to makes things better, we're putting you and Topaz as partners from now on" The G.U.N Commander says, causing Rouge and Topaz to gasped. "Partners?" Rouge and Topaz asked at the same time. "I knew it" Steven says in his head. "Yes, partners. I was told that you two can work well together" The President says, "Well then, I guess I have competition then" Rouge says, "What do you mean "competition"?" Topaz asked, "When it comes to getting the spotlight of course, I gotta keep my title shining" Rouge says, causing Topaz to growl a bit before Rouge went back to her spot. "Now, Sonic the Hedgehog" The President says and Sonic steps forward. "Sonic, you and your friends are herby citizens of the United States of America. For not only assisting us, but for showing us the heroes you all truly are. "Thanks. Maybe sticking around in this world for a little longer won't be so bad after all" Sonic says, "We may just get to learn more about this world really soon" Steven says, "That's right" Sonic says, "We also would like to apologize for the misunderstanding for seeing you all as terrorist once again. We hope we can all come on good terms from now on" The Director of Central Intelligence says, "Sounds good to me. Thanks" Sonic says before he went back to his spot. "And finally, Steven the Hedgehog" The President says and Steven steps forward and salutes. "Now Steven, before we present to you your prize, I would like to say something to you, may I?" The President asked, "Sure, Mr. President, go ahead" Steven says, "Thank you. Now Steven, on behalf of the whole nation, I extend my deepest apology. I apologize for the way we described you, Sonic and your friends at the very beginning as well as having you to join our forces at a so sudden approach. I understand if you don't fully forgive us just yet, but that's okay. We're letting you know how deeply sorry for the way we acted" The President says, "It's okay, Mr. President. It's like Sonic said, I forgive you already" Steven says, "You do?" The President asked, "Yes, right before all this happened, I already forgive you because I understood that we were not ordinary animals that you see everyday, but sometimes changes can be good once you get used to them and we all proved that you everyone" Steven says as he turns to others. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy and Rouge smiled. "I told you he would make us proud" Rouge says, "Yeah..." Topaz says, "Thank you, Steven. Now I wanted to expand my thanks to you. You exemplified a new seed of a young man who will grow into a leader one day, but would also become an inspiration to our Nation" The President says, "Leader? Inspiration? To the whole Nation?" Steven asked, "That's right. After what we saw today and what some of the troops have told us about you, you showed us a person you were born to be. A heroic Hedgehog soldier" The G.U.N Captain says, "Really?" Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. Someone else could possibly be out there and wants to join our troops. That someone could remind all the other troops of who their inspiration was as that person would be like you. Don't you think, Steven?" The G.U.N Commander asked, "Maybe... Um... Mr. President, everyone else, I appreciate the messages, but you don't have make me the star player of all this. After all, it was Sonic, my friends, the troops and everybody else that was on this were the real heroes of this mission. I'm just being like the rest of them" Steven says before everyone smiled again. "That may be true to you, but I still believe you deserve" The President says, "Same here, Steven. You deserve all of this. After you told me all the goals you want to achieve, let this be one of them you accomplished" Sonic says, "Really?" Steven asked, "You bet!" Sonic says before he gave a thumbs up and winking. "But... I don't want to make you guys look like your only one the side lines" Steven says, "Don't worry about it, Steven. Just take the credit" Sonic says, "Sonic's right, Steven" Tails says off screen, getting Steven's attention. "Take all the credit you earned. After all, you told me you to keep learning new things. So I want to see you do them soon" Tails says, "That's right! You show everyone who's the real hero of this mission" Amy says, "Steven, ever since I met you and Sonic, I knew you would play a big part with them one day. It's not everyday you get a big thank you, right?" Chris asked, "I guess not, Chris" Steven says, "Then there you go. You played a big part and succeeded. I'm really happy that you did" Chris says, "Go for it, Steven!" Frances says, "Well I may not like show offs, but with you is an exception. You even made me proud today" Knuckles says as he smiled. "Guys..." Steven says before he chuckles embarresing. "Listen, Steven. I see you as someone that's determine to make their hopes and dreams come true. Even if you have to face challenges head on, I know you'll come out without a scratch. Don't forget that, okay?" Rouge asked off screen, causing Steven to rub the back of his head. "Guys... I mean I do accept all this, but what reason is there for me to have it so big?" Steven asked, "Because, Steven, you're the one that helped us join together to help take down the enemy. I remember what you said earlier that no matter what species you are, you're still considered someone that can be more than one thing. So that's why you deserve the biggest congratulations from all of us. We got to learn so much about you and everyone else that you got all of us to join together in the end. No matter how different we are, we see each other as..." the President says, "One..." Steven says, "That's right. I would have never imagine I would have a Hedgehog that would turn out to be so pure. So because of everything you've done for us all, we give you our biggest thank you of all, Steven" The President says off screen. Steven's left eye then had a tear fall down a bit. Steven then sniffed a bit. "Huh? What's wrong, buddy?" Sonic asked, "Sorry, I don't... Usually cry, but... It-It's just that I've never felt so appreciated in my life... I feel so happy just to keep thinking about it..." Steven says as he wiped his eyes a bit. "Hey, listen. It's okay, Steven. You're just getting used to the feeling you helped so much that you're being congratulated. You didn't feel this happy back then, did you?" Sonic asked, "No... No, actually" Steven says, "Then your emotions and feelings are kicking in more effectivly than before. You made me proud today too, Steven. You've come a long way and look at you now. You're a hero like the rest of us now" Sonic says, "Thanks, Sonic..." Steven says before turning to everyone else. "Thank you, everyone, for everything" Steven says before rubbing his eyes again. "Anytime, Steven. Anytime" Sonic says, "Now that that's taken care of, I'll present Steven's gift. Jerome, bring me the box please" The President says, causing, Jerome, the G.U.N Commander, G.U.N Captain, the Chairman, the Director of Central Intelligence and Topaz to gasped. "Oh! Yes sir..." Jerome says before he leaves the room. "You mean..." Topaz says, "Well I'll be..." the G.U.N Commander says before Jerome came back with a box. Jerome then hands it to the President. "Thank you, Jerome. Steven, please step forward" The President says and Steven steps forward. The President opens the box and it revealed a golden medal. This caused everyone except for the President to gasped. Steven gasped as he saw the golden medal. "Congratulations, solider. It is my honor to bestow upon you, "The Medal of Honor"" The President says as the golden medal shined. "Wow..." Steven says.
Flashbacks played on how many times Steven had assisted Sonic and his friends from when he was first teleported to Earth to present day.
Back to reality, The President places the medal around Steven's neck. "Woah..." Steven says as he looked at the golden medal around his neck. "Ten-hut!" The G.U.N Captain says, causing the G.U.N Commander, The Director of Central Intelligence, the Chairman, Jerome, The President and Topaz stand up straight. "Woah..." Steven says before the ones that were standing straight saluted including the President. "History will long revere your courage and sacrifice" The President says before he, Jerome, the Chairman, the Director of Central Intelligence, the G.U.N Commander, the G.U.N Captain and Topaz applauded for Steven. "Thank you, guys..." Steven says, "You have etched in the rock of virtue. A legacy beyond compare" The President says before Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Rouge, Chris and Frances. "Way to go, Steven" Sonic says, "Good job, Steven" Knuckles says, "Thanks, guys" Steven says, "You are one of the world's greatest hero. The living embodiment of all this corps represents. Bravery, integrity, grace under pressure, and above all, dignity" The President says as Steven kept getting cheered on.
Back outside of the White House, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Chris and Frances were inside the X-Tornado and Knuckles was standing next to it. Steven then made his way to the group. "What else did they say, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "They said they'll send official papers for the citizenship by mail some time soon. Thanks for the help out there, Knuckles" Steven says, "No problem, Steven. You take care and I'll see you and everyone else soon. Good job again" Knuckles says, "Thanks, Knuckles. Take care" Steven says before Knuckles walked away from everyone and leaves. "Steven!" Rouge says off screen, getting Steven's attention as he turns to Rouge walking up to him. "Yes, Rouge?" Steven asked, "Great job, today. You build up your confidence like you promised. Was I right that you won't have to worry about anything anymore?" Rouge asked, "Yeah, you was, Rouge. Thanks for that talk you gave me the other day. So you're gonna be fine staying with the President?" Steven asked, "Uh huh. I feel staying in this world would be better than I thought" Rouge says, "I think the same. Because of our victory, we might get to learn a lot more about this world than before" Steven says, "You're right" Rouge says, "Steven!" Chris says off screen, getting Steven's attention to see Sonic and the others. "You ready to go?" Tails asked, "Uh yeah. Yeah. Give me one second" Steven says before turning back to Rouge. "Alright, Rouge. I wish you good luck for your time with G.U.N. Like I said, you're welcome to stop by. You know where I'm staying right?" Steven asked, "Of course and thanks, Steven" Rouge says, "Alright, Rouge. I'll see you later" Steven says before he was about to go to the X-Tornado. "Steven?" Rouge asked as she went up to Steven. "Yeah, Rouge..." Steven says before he was kissed on the cheek. Steven was stunned a bit before blushing a bit. "Uh..." Steven says while Rouge giggled. "Take care, soldier" Rouge says before she makes her way back to the White House. Steven rubbed the cheek Rouge kissed Steven on. "Steven!" Sonic says off screen, getting Steven's attention again. "Huh?" Steven asked as he turns to Sonic. "Let's get going" Sonic says, "Oh! Uh... Right" Steven says before he hops on the X-Tornado from the back. The X-Tornado then took off in the skies.
In the skies, Steven's was holding on to the X-Tornado as it flew in the skies. Sonic then noticed Steven blocking his face from the strong breeze. "How do you like riding the X-Tornado from outside, Steven?" Sonic asked, "It's okay. It's just that the wind is really strong when you're high in the sky" Steven says, "Don't worry. You'll get used to it very soon" Sonic says, "Right, for sure" Steven says as he continued to hold on. Steven then rubbed the cheek Rouge kisses him on. "What was that I just felt when Rouge did that? It felt really good for some reason? Oh well. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it someday"Steven says before he looks at his Gold Medal of Honor with a smile on his face.
Back at the garage, everyone was chattering off screen.
Back in Chuck's room Sonic, Steven, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Chris and Chuck were looking at the Cyan and Yellow Chaos Emeralds and Steven's Medal of Honor. They dropped Frances back home on the way back. "Wow, it's so shiny" Cream says as she and Cheese look at Steven's Medal of Honor. "Chao!" Cheese says, "It sure is" Steven says, "Now that we got three Chaos Emeralds, we just need four more" Tails says, "Then we'll be on our way back home" Amy says, "That's great, guys. I still can't believe Steven got a Medal of Honor from the President. It's pretty tricky to get rewarded from the President" Chris says, "Really?" Tails asked, "Yeah" Chris says, "I never would have imagined a young man like Steven would be rewarded for the highest honor of this world. It makes me happy to have a friend like him" Chuck says off screen as Steven smile faded a bit. "Yeah, but who knows? Maybe one day we'll get medals too" Amy says off screen while Steven looked on the floor a bit. "That would be wonderful! Right, Steven? Huh?" Cream asked as she and Cheese notice Steven looking on the ground. "Steven, what's wrong?" Cream asked, getting Chuck, Chris, Tails and Amy's attention as they looked at Steven. "Steven, what's the matter?" Chris says, "Well, guys. I feel bad that I'm the only getting the credits when I was only helping just for us to have freedom while you guys are the only ones getting the citizenship. I never intended to for all this to happen because of me. I just wanted us to have freedom and that's it and nothing more. But all this happened because I went to that abandoned factory and left you all worried about me that day. I'm sorry for everything I did to make you all worry and making you all get low credits for all the hard work you all did as well" Steven says. Chuck then walked up to Steven and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, Steven. You did whatever it took to help the ones you care about. Even if everyone else saw you as the top hero, the ones that know you a lot more know the real reason you did this. So whatever happened today, you did it for the ones you truly care about and they know you wouldn't treat them any different from being better. Isn't that right, everyone?" Chuck asked as he turns to Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chris. "Yes. Steven, it's okay. We all know you wouldn't treat us any different than yourself. That's what true friends are. Not treating others any different" Tails says, "Don't forget, Steven. This was your first victory. Anyone would be surprised to see a fresh face play a big star. This will all calm down eventually. You can count on it" Amy says, "We know you wouldn't leave us behind, Steven. That's why you're one of our closest friends ever" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "Steven, when I saw you progressing and training everyday, I knew you would do the right thing and have your close friends be the first ones to think about. I'm glad to have you as one of my best friend" Chris says. Steven looked a bit surprised while Chuck patted Steven a bit. "There you have it, Steven" Sonic says off screen, getting Steven's attention as he turns to Sonic. "We will always count on you to do what you think is right" Sonic says as he gave Steven a thumbs up. Steven then smiled a bit. "Thank you, everyone. I'm glad to have you guys as my first friends. I never imagined I would be this close to being friends with you all. Now it looks like my dream has became a reality" Steven says, causing everyone to smile. Steven then looks down at his gold Medal of Honor. "But still, I still think you guys are the real heroes as well. So you know what?" Steven asked, "What?" Chuck, Chris, Tails, Amy, Cream asked, "Chao?" Cheese asked. Steven then takes off his Medal of Honor. "I declare this Medal of Honor to all of us" Steven says before he placed the medal on a hook. "What do you guys say?" Steven asked, "That's really thoughtful and nice of you, Steven" Tails says, "Yes, thank you, Steven" Cream says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "It'll be something I won't forget" Amy says, "Maybe we'll get another Medal of Honor if this keeps up" Chris says, "You're probably right, Chris" Steven says, "So, Steven. How does it feel to have the title "Hero"?" Tails asked, "It feels great, and I can't think of anything else that can make this day even better" Steven says off screen while Chuck looked at Sonic. Chuck gave Sonic a look and Sonic nodded. Sonic then went up to Steven. "Hey, Steven" Sonic says, "Yes, Sonic?" Steven asked, "I believe Chuck has something to show you" Sonic says, "What is it?" Steven asked, "Come with me and you'll see" Chuck says before Steven followed Chuck out the room. Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were confused before looking at Sonic. "What's grandpa gonna show Steven, Sonic?" Chris asked, "Why don't we have a look" Sonic says as he jumps out the window. Amy, Cream, Cheese, Tails and Chris also left the room before closing the door.
Back inside the Thorndyke Mansion, Chuck opened a door and he and Steven went down the stairs.
At the staircase, Chuck and Steven continued walking down. "What is it you want to show me, Chuck?" Steven asked, "Well Sonic told me how you've been motivated to do a lot more than you normally do, right?" Chuck asked, "Yeah" Steven says, "And that you want to get stronger everyday to protect those you care about?" Chuck asked, "Right" Steven says.
In a dark room, Chuck continues as he and Steven were about to enter. "Well, Steven. I really find that motivation wonderful because I really do want to see you get stronger everyday. So because of that, I couldn't think of anywhere else better to get stronger everyday than..." Chuck says before he flicked a light switch.
The lights turned on and Steven shielded his eyes a bit. Steven opens his eyes and gasped at the room. "You're own personal gym" Chuck says. Steven saw there was weights, a treadmill, a punching bag, and a lot more machines that you would have at a regular gym. "Chuck... How did you..." Steven asked, "I've been watching you train with Sonic everyday and I thought if having your own gym would give you the advantage to progress in your next training session. It will also show you what the people in this world use to exercise and train with" Chuck says off screen while Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chris made it to the room. Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chris then gasped. "Oh wow!" Tails says, "Grandpa, you did all this by yourself?" Chris asked, "Not all by myself. I had a little help from Tanaka and Ella and they agreed to help" Chuck says, "Now Steven will get stronger and stronger now" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "I wonder what awaits for Steven when he starts all this" Amy says, "So what do you think, Steven?" Chuck asked,
"Wow... Thank you, Chuck. Thank you, Sonic. Thank you everybody again. I don't know how many times I've said thank you today, but to repay you all back, I'll start training now" Steven says before he groans and almost collapsed a bit. Sonic ran and helped Steven up. "Whoa, there! Slow down, buddy. You had a long day today. It's best if you fully recover and start fresh when it's time. How does that sound?" Sonic asked, "You're right. Thanks, Sonic" Steven says, "Any time, Steven. Anytime" Sonic says, "Oops. I did it again, didn't I?" Steven asked before he and Sonic share a laugh. Amy, Tails, Cream, Cheese, Chuck and Chris also laughed.
Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, everyone continues to laugh off screen as today has been a successful day for everyone in the whole world that everyone will remember the name "Steven the Hedgehog" as time lives on.

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! With Dr. Eggman's Base destroyed, everything is now calm as ever. I even have my own home gym now. Now I can put my training to the Advance level! So as this was happening, the press conference's topic is focused on both me and Sonic for some reason. The President's aide Jerome was not happy about this because if me and Sonic kept getting all the attention, then it's most likely the President and the Vice-President will lose the next election. So to prevent that from happening, Jerome decides to open up a victory celebration to honor mine and Sonic's victory and also have picture with the President from the media. So we got an invitation and everyone agrees to go to the party... Except me. Because I made a promise to a new friend I recently met named Helen. She's one of Chris' classmates from his school and she's sadly handicapped. I felt so bad that I decided to skip the party and spend the whole day with Helen and make her have the best day ever. But as we are bonding, Jerome decided to send in the Special Forces to forcefully bring me to the party. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that something strange is gonna happen related to this. Whatever it is, I won't let it get in my way from letting Helen have the best day of her life! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Chase the Hero Steven!" ("That's What Friends Are For").
