Steven and Knuckles! Fists of Fury (The Adventures of Steven, Knuckles and Hawk)
At a city called Oriental City, it was a sunny day while a plane flies by close above the buildings.
Above Oriental City, there was a boat driving in the lake. "Things were in pretty bad shape. We'd been..." Knuckles says off screen.
At the boat, Knuckles was on a boat filled with crates as Steven was behind rowing the boat. Steven wore clothes and had his backpack on with first aid, food and supplies. Steven told Sonic and everyone else that he was gonna gone for a few days to go on an adventure on his own. Sonic and everyone else and wished him luck and to be careful if anything. As Steven left on his own, he was eventually given a boat and went sailing at different parts of the world. As Steven traveled, he was given crates of food, clothes and souvenirs as a reward for helping Sonic stop Dr. Eggman. Steven was on his way to Oriental City and eventually met up with Knuckles around the time before. Steven told Knuckles everything that's been happening with him and everything that's been going on. Knuckles also told Steven what he's been up to and was now on his way to meet a friend of his. Steven asked if he could join Knuckles and Knuckles agreed as long as Steven was careful. So now they were adventuring together. "...Stranded in this weird world for what felt like forever. And no matter how many times we beat Eggman, we still weren't any closer to getting back home. I was starting to lose hope. But all that changed about two months ago, when I first met Hawk" Knuckles says in his head.
A flashback plays and shows a temple. "I'd been traveling for a while through the south side of the continent searching for a Chaos Emerald. I saw an" Knuckles says off screen as Knuckles was seen walking towards the temple. "...Old stone temple of some kind..." Knuckles says off screen.
Inside the temple, Knuckles makes it to an opening. "...And I decided to check it out" Knuckles says off screen before Knuckles makes his way in inside and walks in the halls. "Everything was eerie and quiet until I heard a voice" Knuckles says off, "Please, somebody help!" a man says off screen, getting Knuckles' attention.
At another room inside the temple, the walls were about to close in on a man. The man's name was Hawk. Hawk whimpered as he tried to prevent the walls from closing on him. "No!" Hawk says before he closed his eyes ready to die. Suddenly, a punch was heard and Hawk opens his eyes to see Knuckles break through the room. Knuckles stepped in the room and punched a wall.
Back outside of the temple, Knuckles punched an exit out the temple as he and Hawk exit the temple. Knuckles then turns to Hawk and Hawk moans in relief while bowing down. "I didn't know it then, but Hawk and I were looking for the same thing" Knuckles says off screen.
Back to reality, Steven and Knuckles were walking around Oriental City with people staring at them. "I heard from Hawk again a few weeks later. He told me he found what I was looking for. Naturally, I was suspicious and curious. So I decided to pay my new friend a visit with my other new friend, Steven" Knuckles says in his head while ignoring the people staring at them. "Do you know why they're staring at us, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "It's because we're popular after we destroyed Dr. Eggman's Fortress. But don't worry, it'll die down soon" Steven says before they went up to a man. "Hey, how do we get to Fwans Shop from here?" Knuckles asked, "I know you! You're that Sonic guy and you're Steven, aren't ya'll?" The man asked as he pointed at Steven and Knuckles. This caused Knuckles to growl. "You must be crazy, I don't look anything like Sonic. I'm Knuckles!" Knuckles says, "Knuckles, calm down. He probably didn't realize you were someone else" Steven says, "I didn't mean to offend you, pal. We don't see many hedgehogs around here" the man says as he shrugs his shoulders. This caused Steven to look confused. "Huh?" Steven asked before shaking his head. "Can you please direct us to Fwans Shop, please sir?" Steven asked, "Sure, follow me" the man says.
At Fwans Shop, there was a lot of Chinese writing around it. "He led us through a halfdozen dirty alleys" Knuckles says off screen as he and Steven were staring at the place. "Right to Fwans Shop" Knuckles says in his head. "You ready?" Knuckles asked, "Let's go" Steven says before they walk to the entrance.
Inside Fwans Shop, Steven and Knuckles enter and a few men were giving them dirty looks while the bartender looked nervous. There were also two more customers with black clothing. Steven and Knuckles then walk while the the men kept staring at them. The two customers in black also watched Steven and Knuckles. "I'll do the talking" Knuckles says, "Okay" Steven says while he bartender hums. "Huh?" the bartender asked as he noticed Steven and Knuckles up to the counter. "I'm looking for a guy by the name of Hawk" Knuckles says before the bartender whimpered a bit. Steven then gave a confused look. "It's not polite to stare, pal" Knuckles says before the bartender waves his arms. "Sorry, I don't see many folks like you two around here" the bartender says, "Never mind that, have you seen Hawk or haven't you?" Knuckles asked, "Nope, name doesn't sound familiar" the bartender says, "That's strange" Knuckles says off screen, "Maybe he's not here, Knuckles" Steven says off screen, "Sorry, wish I could help you" The bartender says, "You're lying" Knuckles says off screen before the men step towards the bartender, Steven and Knuckles. "Hey" a man says off screen, making the bartender nervous and getting Steven and Knuckles' attention. "The man told you he hasn't seen your friend. Now you can either thank him and get out, or me and my friends here will show you and your friend the way out" the man with the orange shirt says, causing the bartender to hide behind the counter while Knuckles smiled. "Well, maybe you and your friends are the ones who need to leave" Knuckles says and Steven turned towards the men. "What's wrong with asking simple questions?" Steven asked, "Nothing. We just don't like you're kind around here" the man in the orange shirt says, "Our kind? What kind is that?" Steven asked, "...Hipsters" the man in the orange shirt says, causing Steven to gasp. "How dare you..." Steven says, "It's okay, Steven. I'll handle this. Just stand back" Knuckles says, "No, no, no" Steven says while waving his finger towards Knuckles. "It's okay, Knuckles" Steven says as he turns to Knuckles. "Come on, Steven. You don't need to waste your time with them" Knuckles says, "I know exactly how to handle this situation, Knuckles" Steven says before he grabs a beer bottle from upside down and faces the men. Steven then clears his throat. "Pop quiz, hot shot" Steven says while the man in the orange shirt turns towards the other men. "You just picked a fight with a fully clothed Hedgehog who's been through many near death experiences. What do you do? What do you do? Ha!" Steven says before he jumps up and bops the beer bottle on the man in the orange shirt's head. The man in the orange shirt grunted while Knuckles gasped a bit. "Huh. Am I crazy or it's suppose to break, right?" Steven asked before he taps the beer bottle on the man in the orange shirt's head. "Ding" Steven says before he does it again two more times. "Ding, ding" Steven says before he kept this up. "Break, please. Break, please" Steven says while Knuckles was holding his laughter. Steven then does it at a fast pace. "Break this bottle, please! Please, please, please, please, please..." Steven says while Knuckles went up to Steven from behind. "Uh, Steven..." Knuckles says, "Alright, you asked for it! I'll show you, you dirty little..." the man in the orange shirt says as he tried to punch Steven. "Ah oh!" Steven says as he ducked his head while Knuckles moved out the way and sticked his foot out. The man in the orange shirt was about to trip. "...Aaaah!" the man in the orange shirt says as he trips and falls behind the counter. This caused some glass clatters to be heard. "Oh ho! Ho ho ho!" Steven says before Knuckles faced Steven with a smile. "Nice going, Steven" Knuckles says, "Thanks. It was awesome, right?" Steven says before he clenched his fists and raised them up and faced the other men. "All right, who's next? Who wants some? Who do I get to beat up?" Steven asked while Knuckles face the other men too. The other man then get into fighting stances. "I would not do that" A man named says off screen, getting the other men's attention as they turn around to see a man named Li Yan at the opened front door. "I have a feeling he and his friend are tougher than they look" Li Yan says before stepping inside. "Mr. Li Yan" the man in the blue shirt says before he and the other men bow down in respect while Li Yan goes up to Steven and Knuckles, "What is your business?" Li Yan asked, "A guy named Hawk said I could find him here. He has something I want" Knuckles says, "You must be Knuckles and you must be Steven I've heard so much about" Mr. Li Yan says, "Yeah, that's me alright" Steven says, "I've been expecting you, Knuckles. If you are looking for Hawk, you're talking to the right guy. Just follow me and I'll take you both right to him" Li Yan says, "What do you say, Steven?" Knuckles asked as he turned to Steven. "Fine. Let's go" Steven says before Knuckles faces Li Yan again. "Then lead the way" Knuckles says before Li Yan lead Knuckles and Steven out of the bar with the other men watching. The two customers in black clothing watch Li Yan, Steven and Knuckles leave before facing each other. The two customers in black clothing revealed to be Decoe and Bocoe. "It's Steven and Knuckles" Decoe says, "I was not expecting to see them here. We must report this to Dr. Eggman" Bocoe says, "Yeah" Decoe says.
At another part of Oriental City, Li Yan lead Steven and Knuckles in an alley area. Li Yan opens a door from a building and he, Steven and Knuckles go inside with Steven closing the door from behind.
Inside the building, Li Yan, Steven and Knuckles walk down the stairs and head to a door. Li Yan opens the door and gestures for Steven and Knuckles to go in. "He's here?" Knuckles asked while Steven wasn't sure as he looked at the dark room. "After you" Knuckles says and Li Yan chuckles. "Okay" Li Yan says before he goes in and closes the door. "Huh?" Knuckles asked, "What the?" Steven asked until a trap door on the floor opened, causing Steven and Knuckles to fall in and shout. The trap door then closes.
Steven and Knuckles continue to fall. "Whooooaaaaa!" Steven says while Knuckles sees a light downwards. Knuckles took action and used his fist and feet to stop himself from falling. Steven saw this and used his grapple gun to hang on the wall. "Phew! That was a close one" Steven says as he wiped his head. "Hmm?" Knuckles asked as he heard something. "What is it, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "I hear something down there. Get ready, Steven" Knuckles says, "Right" Steven says before Knuckles jumps down along with Steven.
In a Cell, Steven and Knuckles landed and saw Hawk sitting from behind. Hawk stopped for a moment as he heard something from behind him, but didn't turn around. "I'll share this cell with you. But don't think I'm gonna share my food. If you want to eat you have to wait till tomorrow, got it?" Hawk asked, "That's no way to treat a friend, is it?" Knuckles asked off screen, causing Hawk to turn around and see Knuckles and Steven. "Knuckles, it's you!" Hawk says off screen before he shakes hands with Knuckles. "Wow, it's so good to see you!" Hawk says before he notices Steven. "Whoa! No way! You're Steven! I've heard so much about you. It's an honor to meet you, Steven" Hawk says as he shook hands with Steven. "It's nice to meet you too. You must be Hawk, right?" Steven asked, "Yes, that's me! How did you two get down here?" Hawk asked, "Well, let's just say I decided to drop in" Knuckles says, "Yeah. We received an unusual reception" Steven says.
At the ocean, the Eggfort was sitting in the water. "What was that Nincompoop Knuckles and that pain in the neck Steven doing in a dive like that? I would have expected Steven to be with Sonic instead" Dr. Eggman says from the bridge off screen.
Inside the bridge of the Eggfort, Decoe and Bocoe were explaining to Dr. Eggman while still in their disguises. "Knuckles said he was looking for someone named Hawk and we're not too sure how Steven is with Knuckles. It all seemed very suspicious, Doctor" Decoe says, "Very interesting. Perhaps it's time to put our little plan into action. It ought to be loads of fun. Now let's see" Dr. Eggman says and laughs as he presses a button on his control table and a few cards flip on the table. The cards stop spinning, causing Dr. Eggman's glasses to shine. "Excellent" Dr. Eggman says before his eyes stopped shining.
Back in the Cell, Hawk was explaining to Knuckles and Steven that he found a Chaos Emerald. "And you're sure it was a Chaos Emerald you saw?" Knuckles asked before Hawk makes the shape of it with his hand. "It was a big red stone, about this size" Hawk says, "It is a Chaos Emerald" Knuckles says, "That makes five then" Steven says.

Back in the Cell, Knuckles thought of something while his eyes sparkled. "That's one more. If only we had them all, I could get back home again" Knuckles says in his head before remembering another memory.
In Knuckles' memory, it shows Angel Island and the Master Emerald glowing on the alter with a figure next to it. "Angel Island Paradise. Just me guarding the Master Emerald" Knuckles says off screen while the figure revealed to be Knuckles sleeping with a leaf in his mouth. "Without the care in the world. Hour after hour, day after day. Just watching and dreaming. But mostly dreaming" Knuckles says off screen before a butterfly flies on the leaf Knuckles had in his mouth. Knuckles opened his left eye a bit and saw the glowing Master Emerald and the butterfly flies away. "I thought it would last forever" Knuckles says off screen. The weather then changes with a raining storm with lighting strikes on Angel Island. Knuckles was then standing up and guarding the Master Emerald. "Even when things got tough, I always knew they would eventually be all right" Knuckles says off screen as flashes of lighting strike around the area. The wheather back to the calm with the Master Emerald dripping water as the sun shined. Knuckles smiled and placed his hand on the Master Emerald. "And then, out of nowhere, it happened" Knuckles says off screen as the memory changes to when Chaos Control took place in Green Hills, surrounding the whole area.
Back to reality, Hawk and Steven were surprised by what Knuckles told them. "So that's what you've been doing before all this even started, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "That's right, Steven" Knuckles says, "Wow... That's amazing" Steven says, "You mean the reason you want to find those Chaos Emeralds is so you guys can go back home?" Hawk asked, "Yep, that's right" Steven says, "Best reason I can think of" Knuckles says, "So that's it... I thought you wanted it for the same reason I did for Money" Hawk says, "Sorry, Hawk" Steven says before he chuckled a bit. "It doesn't matter now though... I assume they took the Emerald when they put you here" Knuckles says, "Don't you worry, Knuckles. I was smart enough to hide it before they came for me. I knew they'd be looking for it, you see?" Hawk asked, "You hid it?" Steven asked, "Where is it?" Knuckles asked, "Ha, ha, ha, ha. I hid it where nobody could find it. It's in a..." Hawk says before Knuckles shuts his mouth as Knuckles noticed something. "Knuckles? What's wrong?" Steven asked. Knuckles gestures his hand to the direction he was pointing. Steven looked and saw a small microphone speaker on the wall. "Oh..." Steven says as he whispered. "This place isn't really so bad. It's kind of cozy one you get used to it, you know?" Knuckles asked. Steven caught the message and decided to play along. "You know what? You're right. It isn't. It just takes some time to getting used to, that's all" Steven says off screen while Hawk blinked his eyes in confusion before Knuckles pointed at the small microphone speaker on the wall. "Yeah. Didn't think I'd like it when I got here. But I really think it's growing on me too" Knuckles says, trying to get Hawk to play along. Knuckles then removes his hand from Hawk's mouth with Hawk sweat dropping. "Yeah, come to think of it, this could be a lot worse, couldn't it?" Hawk asked off screen while Knuckles focused on the small microphone speaker while getting close to it. "Yeah, I guess you can say that" Steven says off screen, "I mean most places like this are the pits... But as far as jail cells go, this one's first class all the way" Hawk says off screen, "Yeah. I feel like I could sleep the night here just fine without any disturbance" Steven says off screen before Knuckles gestures Hawk and Steven to change the subject. "Oh... And I'll tell you something else, the food's not half bad either! The baker beans they serve are pretty good!" Hawk says before he cups one side of his mouth. "Even though the other day they were as cold as ice...!" Hawk says.
In another room, Li Yan was listening to the whole conversation with a pair of headphones from a radio. "...And a little dry but you didn't hear it from me. But while we're on the subject, they could change the menu once in a while" Hawk says from the speaker off screen while Li Yan raises the volume a bit. "Yeah. There's lots of different types of food they could come up with. All the delicious satisfaction guarantees" Steven says from the speaker. "I know, right? I mean, baked beans day in and day out. You'd think they'd never heard of steak or fried chicken!" Hawk says from the radio off screen
Back in the Cell, Hawk continues. "or even a cheeseburger with fries!" Hawk says off screen while Knuckles steps closer to the small speaker microphone. "It makes you wonder if they came from a different planet like I did" Steven says off screen while Knuckles takes a deep breath. "Now wouldn't that be something?" Hawk asked off screen, "IT SURE WOULD!" Knuckles says as he raised his voice at the speaker microphone.
Back in the room where Li Yan was, Li Yan yells while holding the headphones in pain before falling over. Li Yan's men then enter the room. "Are you all right, sir!?" The man in the blue shirt asked, "What happened!?" The man in the orange shirt asked before they went up to Li Yan and helped him up. "Play games with me, will they? Darn them...!" Li Yan says before he and his men leave the room.
Back in the Cell, Li Yan and his men made it to the cell and saw that Knuckles, Steven and Hawk escaped by creating a secret exit on the wall.
Back outside, it was night time and Hawk, Knuckles and Steven ran away from the area before going up to the road. "Taxi!" Hawk says as he raises his hand out. This got a Pedicab driver's attention before they stopped in front of Hawk, Knuckles and Steven. Hawk, Knuckles and Steven then sat down. "Well, what are you waiting for? Start pedaling" Hawk says before the Pedicab driver peddled away. From behind, Rouge was flying and she spotted them before flying off.
On the road, Hawk gives the directions to the Pedicab driver. "Take a right up at this corner!" Hawk says as he pointed. The Pedicab driver made a right while Rouge was following from above.
At another part of Oriental City, the Pedicab driver stopped and Knuckles, Steven and Hawk stepped off. "Thank you" Steven says as he tipped the Pedicab driver. "We're finally here!" Hawk says before the Pedicab driver peddled away. "Where are we?" Knuckles asked, "The old factory district" Hawk says before Knuckles and Steven turned around and saw the factory. The factory looked deserted from the outside. "Sure looks deserted..." Steven says in his head. "Come on, let's go!" Hawk says as he leads the way and Knuckles and Steven follow from behind. They walk up to the Subway Station entrance and saw a staircase going down as they didn't notice a foot sticking out from above. "Down there?" Steven asked, "Yes" Hawk says before he, Knuckles and Steven make their way downstairs before Rouge landed on the ground. Steven heard the landing and turned around to see Rouge while Knuckles and Hawk kept going down. "Rouge?" Steven asked before he went up to her. "Hello, Steven" Rouge says, "What are you doing here?" Steven asked, "A little birdie told me there was a Chaos Emerald around here" Rouge says, "Shh...!" Steven says as he had his hinger up to his mouth. "Please don't say that out loud. Somebody could hear you and then things will get complicated" Steven says as he whispered. "But there's nobody around in this dump" Rouge says as she looked around the area. "You can never be too sure, Rouge. I don't want to take any chances" Steven says, "Alright, we'll do it your way. See ya!" Rouge says before she turns around and was about to fly. "Rouge, hold on!" Steven says, making Rouge turn around to Steven again. "What is it now?" Rouge asked, "I wanted to give you something the next time I see you, but since you're already here, I'll give it to you now" Steven says before he opened his bag and took out the bag of gold from the treasure of the Sunken Ship that he, Sonic and the others found. "Here, Rouge" Steven says he showed Rouge the bag. "What's in the bag?" Rouge asked, "You'll see" Steven says before he digs his hand in the bag. Steven takes his hand out and showed Rouge the gold and jewelry. Rouge gasped as she sees the gold and jewelry inside the bag. "Steven, where did you get all this from?" Rouge asked as her eyes sparkled. "I got it from a Sunken Ship at the bottom of the ocean when me, Sonic and the others searched for a Chaos Emerald" Steven says, "But why are you giving this to me?" Rouge asked, "Because I remember the day we met at the ambush. You told me that you that if I helped you look for a Chaos Emerald, you would give it to me, but you said I would have to give you something in return so this is my return for you" Steven says, "But that was awhile ago and I said to forget about it, remember?" Rouge asked, "I know, but no matter what that if a deal is on, off or there's no deal at all, I'll still hold on to a promise or deal for my friends" Steven says before he gave Rouge some gold and jewelry. "Steven. I don't know what to say..." Rouge says, "A thank you maybe?" Steven asked before he chuckled. "No, this" Rouge says before she gave Steven a peck on the cheek. Steven blushed again. "Uhh..." Steven says before Rouge giggles. "You better get going to your friends or else they'll get suspicious" Rouge says before Steven snaps back to reality. "Yeah. Right. I'll see you later, Rouge, and take care" Steven says before he runs down the stairs. Rouge watches Steven go down with a smile. Then suddenly, a hand thump was heard and Rouge fell down unconscious by the Pedicab driver from before.

Downstairs at the Abandoned Subway Station, Hawk continued leading Knuckles before Steven caught up to them. "Where were you, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "I had to tie my shoes" Steven says while they continued to walk. "I found it at the place where my partners had their business transaction. I thought my mouth was going to leaped out of my heart... No wait, I mean, my heart was going to leaped out of my mouth!" Hawk says before they then went down on the tracks. "Guess a-lot of people get alot different reactions when they see a Chaos Emerald or something very valuable" Steven says in his head. "Over here" Hawk says as he pointed at a small drawing of his face happy while pointing at an X above him saying "Check" on a train track. Hawk, Knuckles and Steven went up to it "Yeah!" Hawk says before he digs out the area. After a few seconds, he stopped. "Ah, there she is!" Hawk says as he held up a small bag. Hawk opens the bag and the Red Chaos Emerald comes out. "That's a Chaos Emerald!" Knuckles says, "We're really close to having all seven now!" Steven says before Hawk was about to give it to them. "It's all yours! And thanks for getting me out, pals" Hawk says until Dr. Eggman's laughed off screen, getting Knuckles, Steven and Hawk's attention as they turn around to see Dr. Eggman in his Egg Mobile. "Well, if it isn't my little friends knucklehead and Steven! Hand over that Chaos Emerald. I promise to keep it safe and sound!" Dr. Eggman says, "Forget it! You're not getting this Chaos Emerald!" Steven says, "I'll give you something! But it won't be this emerald!" Knuckles says before he charges at Dr. Eggman. As Knuckles threw a punch, Knuckles went through and it revealed that it was a hologram of Dr. Eggman before it disappeared. "He's gone!" Steven says before he jumps up and gets ready. Dr. Eggman then laughs off screen. "I'm a hologram thanks to my Egg-Technique!" Dr. Eggman says off screen. "Knuckles, Steven, help me!" Hawk says off screen before Steven and Knuckles turn around to see the Pedicab driver hold Hawk's hand with the bag that had the red Chaos Emerald in a chained rope. "It's you!" Knuckles says, "Let him go!" Steven says, "Never judge by appearances, knuckle brain and Steven. She may have seemed like just a Pedicab driver, a guard... and even a sexy dancer to you!" Dr. Eggman says, "Even a what?" Steven asked before he blushed. "But she's so much more. Say hello to E91. Also known as Ku-no-i-chi!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as the Pedicab driver revealed to be lady like robot named E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. "Known as who?" Steven asked in confusion, "Ku-no-i-chi stands for a Female Ninja!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "So it's a lady robot!?" Steven asked, "A Lady Ninja!?" Knuckles asked, "Yes. And quite a lovely one at that. But don't let her loveliness dazzle you. You might get hurt!" Dr. Eggman says off screen. "A robot. Eggman!" Knuckles says before he looks up.
Back outside of Oriental City, the Eggfort was flying in the skies.
Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort, Dr. Eggman was about to give the word to E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. "It's time, my beauty. Time for you to get me that Chaos Emerald!" Dr. Eggman says.
Back at the abandoned Subway Station, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi pulls on the chain, causing Hawk to throw the bag in the air. "No!" Steven says as E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was about to catch it, butKnuckles kicked a bucket to it's head. This caused E-91 Ku-no-i-chi to tumble back while the bag fell on the floor. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi removes the bucket and gets right back up while holding her chained whip and faces Knuckles while Steven got ready and took out his blaster weapon. "Let's throw a bit more weight behind things. Sixth Egg-Technique!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's tip of the chained turned into a giant iron ball. "Okay, I was not expecting that..." Steven says as E-91 Ku-no-i-chi spins it around and aims it at Steven and Knuckles. "Whoa oh!" Steven says before he and Knuckles jumped out the way while the ball hits a wall. As Steven fired his blaster weapon towards E-91 Ku-no-i-chi while Knuckles got ready to strike, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi aimed it's iron ball upwards, causing Knuckles and Steven to move out the way while the ball hits the ceiling. This caused some debris to fall from the ceiling while Steven and Knuckles dodge the debris. Steven and Knuckles dodged E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's iron ball again as it hit the wall. This caused the Subway to start crumbing. Steven and Knuckles then land on the ground. "Steven, get the Chaos Emerald and Hawk out of here!" Knuckles says, "Right!" Steven says before he started making his way to Hawk. "Quick, Hawk! Grab the emerald and go with Steven!" Knuckles says before Hawk groans and runs up to get the bag. As Steven saw Hawk was about to get the bag, he saw that the iron ball was about to hit Hawk. "Hawk, stop!" Steven says, causing Hawk to stop and for the iron ball to fly past him and hit another wall. Then suddenly, the debris fell over the bag with the Red Chaos Emerald. Hawk saw this and gasped. Hawk went up to the rocks and tried to pick them up, but couldn't before Knuckles and Steven went up to Hawk. "Let's go!" Knuckles says, "What happened!?" Steven asked, "Knuckles, Steven, the Emerald, it's buried!" Hawk says before Knuckles and Steven saw the iron ball heading towards them. "Look out!" Steven says before he and Knuckles push Hawk out the way from the iron ball.
Back with Rouge, she wakes up from the knock out. "Sneaking up on a girl! That's no way to treat a lady!" Rouge says before she sits up a bit. Rouge then heard rocks crumble. Rouge saw big smoke coming from downstairs of the Subway Station. "I don't know what that is, but it's not good. What the" Rouge says before she looks up to see the Eggfort fly off. "I think that's my cue to get out of here!" Rouge says before she flies away.
Back at the abandoned Subway Station, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi kept throwing it's iron ball everywhere, making it difficult for Knuckles, Steven and Hawk to back away from some of the falling debris. "Steven, Hawk, we have to get away from that thing!" Knuckles says, "I know, but how?" Hawk asked, "We have to find an opening around this place and leave before we get buried in!" Steven says as the the concrete debris on the ceiling crumbled and fell. "Look! Now's our chance! Let's go!" Steven says before Knuckles grabbed Hawk and he and Steven jumped on the falling debris until they made their way out.
Back outside of Oriental City, the destruction caused the whole street to crumble with smoke flying around while the Eggfort flies away.
The next morning at a neighborhood in Oriental City, birds chirped off screen.
On TV, the news was reporting the events that happened last night. "Now our top story this hour Interesting developments in last night's building collapse... Eye witnesses have reported spotting Dr. Eggman in the area around the time of the collapse. Officials have launched a full investigation" the news anchor says off screen as it shows clips of the destruction from last night.
Inside a house, Hawk was watching the news from the TV. "Guess there's not much we can do now" Hawk says before he turns to his left. "Except maybe hang around here for a while till the dust settles" Hawk says off screen as Steven was punching a punching bag while Knuckles held onto it with his hand on the other side. "Good idea. We'll go back over there later and try to dig it out after everything dies down. It might be a little tricky, but I'm sure we'll find a way. What do you think, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "I had that emerald in the palm of my hand..." Knuckles says before he punches the punching bag so hard. "Darn it!" Knuckles says. This caused Steven to get pushed back and crash on the wall. The wood above holding the chained punching bag breaks. "Aaaaaah!" Hawk says before he shields himself from the shake and smoke. Hawk then recovers and looks to his left again. "Knock it off, Knuckles. That won't do any good. Are you all right, Steven?" Hawk asked before the smoke clears with Knuckles having debris all over him while Steven had a little scratches on him against the wall. Knuckles sits up and gasped a bit. "Steven!" Knuckles says before he went up to Steven helped him. "Sorry about that, Steven. Are you alright?" Knuckles asked as Steven shook himself a bit. "It's okay, Knuckles. I think so" Steven says before he suddenly didn't feel any pain. "Hmm? Wow. I feel just fine" Steven says, "Huh? You do?" Knuckles asked, "Yeah. It must have been all the Advance training I've been doing that's making me feel less pain" Steven says, "Training?" Hawk asked before he went up to Steven and Knuckles "Yeah, Hawk. I've been exercising and training all by myself every day to make myself stringer so that if something happens, I'll be ready for anything" Steven says, "Get stronger every day? Hmm..." Hawk says. Then suddenly, a bag hits Knuckles on the head. "Whoa! What was that?" Steven asked before Knuckles recovers and looks to see the bag revealed to be Shovel Claws. Knuckles then picks them up. "Is this...? The Shovel Claws! How did they get here!?" Knuckles asked, "Shovel Claws?" Steven asked off screen. "Those metal things? I dug 'em out of that old temple. You know, where you saved me" Hawk says off screen.
A flashback plays back at the old temple outside.
Inside the temple, the Shovel Claws were on a stand.
Back to reality, Knuckles continues looking at them. "The Shovel Claws. Hmm..." Knuckles says, "What about them?" Hawk asked off screen while Knuckles smiled and thought of an idea. "Are those Shovel Claws used to dig, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. With these, I can dig though dirt, stone, ground and walls. Later on we'll go back and I'll use these to dig though the destruction and get the Chaos Emerald back" Knuckles says, "Sounds like a plan then" Steven says, "Hey, Steven?" Hawk says, "Yes, Hawk?" Steven asked, "You said you're trying to get stronger everyday right?" Hawk asked, "Yep. That's right" Steven says, "And you said you exercise and train by yourself, right?" Hawk asked, "Uh huh. What about it?" Steven asked, "How would you like it if I taught you the ways of Chinese Martial Arts?" Hawk asked and Steven looked surprised. "Chinese Martial Arts?" Steven asked, "Yes, it's also known as kung fu, which is referred to as any skill that is acquired through learning or practice. It's also a form word composed of the words "Work", "Achievement", or "Merit"" Hawk says, "Work, Achievement and Merit. Hmm..." Steven says as he thinks. "Maybe you should do it, Steven. Who knows, it may help you in battle against your enemy" Knuckles says. After a few seconds, Steven's decision is made. "Okay, I'll do it" Steven says, "Okay, so this'll be you're training in the martial arts, correct?" Hawk says, "Yes, Hawk" Steven says, "Okay, now before we begin, I want to know this. How fast can you move yourself, Steven?" Hawk asked, "I can move at a good speed, but like I said, I"m exercising and training everyday so I may have gotten a bit faster than before" Steven says, "Okay, then. Then you should be fine on what I'm about to teach you because Chinese Martial Arts is gonna help you a-lot in life. So are you ready?" Hawk asked, "Yes" Steven says, "Then let's begin!" Hawk says as they began. Hawk had shown Steven to bow when you're about to fight an enemy. Knuckles has also helped Steven stretch his body out to see how flexible Steven is. Hawk and Knuckles then showed Steven how to perform basic everyday activities while exercising the muscles. Hawk also got Steven to do some exercise to see what exercise Steven does and how fast he can do it. Hawk than wanted to see how high Steven can kick by having a bell hang on a rope. Steven tried to kick high, but wasn't high enough. Hawk then started giving Steven a new test on to sense and hear an enemy attack instead of seeing by having a blanket wall with Steven on one side and Hawk and Knuckles on the other. "Hawk, what's this for?" Steven asked until he felt a punch on the face from the other side of the blanket. "Ow!" Steven says as he rubbed his head. "Anticipation" Hawk says, "Antici-" Steven says before Knuckles punched the blanket again, making Steven tumble a bit. "Don't see it. Sense it" Hawk says as Knuckles punched again, making Steven yelp. "Ohh I felt that one..." Steven says as he tried to recover a bit. At first, Steven wasn't doing too well on this Chinese Martial Artist, but as the kept up. He started to get the rhythm of how the training is supposed to go. Knuckles also taught Steven how to defend, block, and trick the enemy his way. Hawk has also shown Steven the basics of fighting action of the Chinese Martial Arts as well as how to use weapons for them. After a-lot of practice in this training montage, Steven got the hang of all the training and was doing so well on it. Steven then began to spar with both Hawk and Knuckles and they were impressed with the way how fast Steven's keeping up. After the sparing match, Knuckles and Hawk continue watching Steven continue training in the Chinese Martial Arts. "Amazing. He just keeps getting better and better as the training intensifies" Knuckles says, "I know. At this rate, he'll be ready to face the world" Hawk says as they continued watching Steven train. After a couple of hours, Hawk thought that Steven was ready. "Steven" Hawk says off screen, making Steven stop. "Yes, Hawk?" Steven asked, "That's enough. You've done well. I've taught you everything you need to know and you've perfected it in a short amount of time. Now it is up to you to put all of it to the test when the time comes" Hawk says and Steven bows. "Thank you, Hawk. Thank you for everything you've taught me. As well as you, Knuckles" Steven says and Knuckles smiles. "But listen, Steven. Win or lose, doesn't matter. You fight hard, earn respect, and your enemies will leave you alone. Remember that" Hawk says, "He's right, Steven. One day it could get you somewhere if you keep this up" Knuckles says, "Right. Thanks again, Knuckles and Hawk. Now that I feel ready for anything, let's go get that Chaos Emerald back" Steven says.
Back outside where the destruction of the Subway Station took place, Knuckles, Steven and Hawk were looking down at the Subway from the concrete on the road.
Underground, Steven, Knuckles and Hawk were looking at a huge opening. "Here's an opening" Steven says, "Great" Knuckles says before he and Steven went down. "Careful down there!" Hawk says. Steven and Knuckles landed on the ground. Knuckles then puts his Shovel Claws on and started digging through the rocks and boulders. Steven also used his Chinese Martial Arts fighting skills to dig as well.
Deeper underground, Knuckles and Steven broke through the boulder and looked around. "I know it's around here somewhere..." Knuckles says, "I'll start over there" Steven says as they started searching. Knuckles and Steven dug though more rocks before Knuckles came to a stop as he felt he hit an object. Knuckles looked at his left Shovel Claw and saw the Red Chaos Emerald on it. Knuckles than smiles before turning around. "Steven, I found it!" Knuckles says before Steven made his way back to Knuckles. "Great job, Knuckles. Let's get back to Hawk now" Steven says.
Back outside, Steven and Knuckles came out from underground, but Hawk wasn't around. "Huh? Where did Hawk go?" Steven asked before looking around. "Hawk! Hawk, where are you!?" Knuckles asked before Bokkun flies over to Steven and Knuckles while giggling and holding a TV. "Pay attention, Steven and Knuckles. Special message from Dr. Eggman!" Bokkun says before the TV turns on to reveal Dr. Eggman's face. Knuckles and Steven then looked serious. "If you want to see your friend again, you best mosey on over to Oriental New Town and make it snappy" Dr. Eggman says on TV before laughing off screen. "And don't try anything funny. Bokkun's being studying the martial arts. He's getting better" Dr. Eggman says from the TV off screen while Knuckles grunts a bit. "Yeah, well he's not the only one that knows the Chinese Martial Arts..." Steven says in his head. "I know karate!" Bokkun says with his eyes on fire with a fired background. "Hiyah!" Bokkun says as he charged at Knuckles and Steven, but Knuckles stepped out the way while Steven sensed where Bokkun was gonna hit and just tilted his head a bit. Bokkun then kept punching and kicking the air. "Got ya! Karate chop! These hands are dangerous weapons!" Bokkun says off screen while Steven and Knuckles looked surprised. "Take that! Don't mess with me!" Bokkun says before he laughs off screen while Knuckles gives him a mug look. "This could be a trap, Knuckles" Steven says, "I know, Steven. Looks like you might have to put all your Chinese Martial Arts moves to the Ultimate test tonight" Knuckles says, "Yeah, but at the same time, even if we give the Chaos Emerald, there's a chance that Dr. Eggman won't let Hawk go" Steven says, "There must be something we can do" Knuckles says as he and Steven think. After a few seconds, Steven gets an idea. "I've got it!" Steven says, "What is it?" Knuckles asked, "Once we get to Oriental New Town, you will show up with the Red Chaos Emerald and I'll go around and wait for the moment to pop out. Once you give the Chaos Emerald, I'll use my Chinese Martial Arts fighting skills to get the Red Chaos Emerald back, get Hawk free and stop Dr. Eggman from there. How does that sound?" Steven asked and Knuckles thinks about it. "Okay, sure. Sounds like a plan" Knuckles says, "Then let's go" Steven says before he and Knuckles made their way to Oriental New Town. As they were walking, Steven noticed a shop that had nunchucks and a head band on display. "Hmm..." Steven says.
Later at night, a full moon was above Oriental City.
On top of a construction building, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was waiting while Hawk was tied up to a crane.
At the bottom of the construction building, Steven and Knuckles were looking up while Knuckles was holding the bag that had the Red Chaos Emerald. "Okay, I'm going up" Knuckles says, "Be careful, Knuckles" Steven says before he went around the building while Knuckles jumped up.
Back on top of the construction building, Knuckles was slowly walking out the shadows. "Knuckles, it's you...!" Hawk says before the hologram of Dr. Eggman in his Egg Mobile appeared in front of E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. "Good evening. I trust you brought the Chaos Emerald with you?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen as Steven was quietly climbing up to the top from behind the hologram Dr. Eggman, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Hawk. Hawk then noticed Steven on the roof and gasped a bit. Hawk saw Steven and gasped a bit. Steven then saw Hawk make a noise. "Shh..." Steven says as he had his finger on his mouth. Hawk caught the message and stood quiet while Steven gets ready. Knuckles then takes the Red Chaos Emerald out the bag and brings it up in the air. The Red Chaos Emerald then shined a bit. "Now give it to the little lady!" Dr. Eggman says before disappearing. Knuckles and Steven saw each other before nodding. Steven gets in a Chinese Martial Arts fighting stance behind E-91 Ku-no-i-chi while Knuckles puts the red Chaos Emerald back in the bag and E-91 Ku-no-i-chi gets ready to catch it. Knuckles threw the bag towards E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was about to catch until suddenly, a card was heading straight to the bag. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Steven were caught by surprise as the card pushed the bag back. The bag then went dropping towards the ground. Knuckles and Steven then look up to see Rouge. "Rouge!" Steven says before Rouge flies downwards. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi took action and dropped down and sky dive from the construction building. "Egg-Technique: Kite Flight!" E-91 Lady Ninja says before a kite forms around it. "No you don't!" Steven says before he jumps down. Knuckles took the chance to go get Hawk. "Knuckles. Aaaah!" Hawk says before he and Knuckles dropped down.
Back towards the ground, the bag continued falling before Rouge flew in and grabbed it. Rouge then flew off with E-91 Ku-no-i-chi flying after her with Steven running after her from the ground. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi then adjusts it's flying.
At a Flee Market area, a lot of people from the ground watched the action at the air while some people also watched Steven run towards E-91 Lady Ninja and Rouge. "I want that Chaos Emerald" E-91 Ku-no-i-chi says, "How about I keep the emerald, and you get lost!" Rouge says before taking out a blaster gun and fired it at E-91 E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's kite cape. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi gets free from the kite cape and threw a flying star towards Rouge. The star cuts the bag open and the Red Chaos Emerald falls out. "Nice shot!" Rouge says while the Red Chaos Emerald falls towards the ground. Steven saw the Red Chaos Emerald fall towards the ground. "I'll catch it!" Steven says before he speeds up towards where the Red Chaos Emerald was gonna land. Knuckles and Hawk saw that Steven was about to catch the Red Chaos Emerald. "Quick, this way!" Knuckles says before he and Hawk ran. "Egg-Technique: Flying Squirrel!" E-91 Ku-no-i-chi says as it activated wings from it's arms like a flying squirrel and flew towards the Red Chaos Emerald. Steven then makes jumps up and grabs the Red Chaos Emerald. "Got it!" Steven says until he looks behind to see E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was about to grab the Red Chaos Emerald from Steven. Knuckles ran past a few people before jumping up. As E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was about to grab the Red Chaos Emerald from Steven, Knuckles pushed E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's hand out the way. But this caused Steven to drop Red Chaos Emerald out of his hand and the Red Chaos Emerald was sent flying away. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi, Knuckles and Steven bump into each other. Steven and Knuckles crashed into a tent while E-91 Ku-no-i-chi kept flying. Steven and Knuckles then broke through the tent and it caused a wreckage before people ran and screamed while the tent drops over them. The Red Chaos Emerald rolled down towards Hawk and Hawk grabbed it. "Hawk, run!" Steven says as he tried to get out from under the tent while E-91 Ku-no-i-chi flew towards Hawk. "Whoa!" Hawk says before he began to run away. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi took out her chained whip and was about to hit Hawk until Knuckles flung a plate and hit the chain away from Hawk. The chain then hits E-91 Ku-no-i-chi back. Three people at a table saw E-91 Ku-no-i-chi about to crash into them. "Whoa!" a man says as he and the other men moved out the way before the crashed happened with smoke flying around.
Above the flee market area, Rouge saw what happened as she floated. "Uh... think maybe I'll pay another visit when things calm down a bit. Good luck, Steven" Rouge says before flying away.
Back with Hawk, he ran through alleyways until he was at a dead end. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's shadow appeared, causing Hawk to turn around and see nothing. Then suddenly, the shadow was physical and E-91 Ku-no-i-chi grabbed the Red Chaos Emerald before walking out of the wall. "Thank you. Egg-Technique: What a pity" E-91 Ku-no-i-chi says before running off. Then suddenly, Steven and Knuckles appeared. "Hold it right there!" Steven says before E-91 Ku-no-i-chi backed up a bit. "You're not going anywhere. Now hand over that emerald before there's more trouble!" Knuckles says before E-91 Ku-no-i-chi puts the Red Chaos Emerald inside her breast. Knuckles first charged and tried to punch E-91 Ku-no-i-chi but E-91 Ku-no-i-chi dodged the punches and did a a few back flips. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi then threw more flying stars towards Steven and Knuckles and they jumped out the way. "My turn!" Steven says before he took off his shirt off and got into his Chinese Martial Arts fighting stance. "Get back, Knuckles! I'll take it from here!" Steven says before Knuckles backed away towards Hawk. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi also got into a Martial Arts fighting stance and they waited to see who would make the first move. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi took out her chained whip and winged towards Steven. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi tried to hit Steven, but Steven dodged by side stepping, ducking and jumping. As E-91 Ku-no-i-chi swung the chained whip at Steven again, Steven took the chance to jump and kick E-91 Lady Ninja back a bit. E-91 Lady Ninja tumbled a bit before swinging her chained whip again, but Steven jumped and did a front flip. As Steven was about to land, Steven saw a stick and used it as a shield. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi swung the chained whip again and Steven used the stick to avoid the swing hits. Steven aimed the stick towards E-91 Lady Ninja, causing it to tumble a bit. As Steven saw that his stick was short, Steven threw the stick at E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi then sliced the stick. Steven kept dodging the whip attacks until he felt a hit on his chest, causing him to get pushed back a bit and yelp in pain. "Steven!" Hawk and Knuckles said at the same time while E-91 Ku-no-i-chi was about to hit Steven again, but Steven grabbed some dirt and threw it at E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi tumbled a bit before getting back up to see Steven with a headband and two nunchucks in his hands. Steven swung them around a bit before getting ready. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Steven circle around the area. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi started swinging her chained whip again, but Steven dodged and swung his nunchucks all around, causing E-91 Ku-no-i-chi to use her whip to block the swings. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Steven wait for the next move until they clashed their weapons and backed away. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi swung her whip and Steven acted by dodging and hitting E-91 Ku-no-i-chi with his nunchucks. Steven also hits E-91 Ku-no-i-chi by the legs, making it tumble again and drop her chained chip. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi gains balance before getting in her Martial Arts stance. Steven throws his nunchucks away and also got into his Chinese Martial Arts fighting stance. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Steven then started to hit, guard, and dodge each other's attacks. Knuckles and Hawk saw and were impressed that Steven was keeping up with E-91 Ku-no-i-chi's attacks. "Knuckles, when I give the word, you know what to do!" Steven says off screen, "Right!" Knuckles says as he gets ready. Steven continues fighting until he waits for the right moment and locks E-91 Ku-no-i-chi by pulling it's arms back. "Knuckles, now!" Steven says before Knuckles ran on the wall towards E-91 Ku-no-i-chi and Steven. Knuckles delivered a kick to E-91 Ku-no-i-chi s face, making it fall to the ground and for Steven to let go. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi stayed on the ground for a few seconds while Steven was catching his breath. Then suddenly, E-91 Ku-no-i-chi shoots a red glowing rope around Knuckles, causing Knuckles to get electrocuted. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi then stands up. "Egg-Technique: Gold tying!" E-91 Ku-no-i-chi says, "Knuckles!" Steven says as he was about to strike at E-91 Ku-no-i-chi but E-91 Ku-no-i-chi shoots another red glowing rope around Steven, making Steven scream in pain as he gets electrocuted. Knuckles started remembering something while getting electrocuted.

Back to reality, Knuckles opened his eyes a bit. "Master Emerald..." Knuckles says in his head while he and Steven continued to get electrocuted. "Stop it! You're hurting them" Hawk says until he spotted a table with Japanese writing on it along with a bucket on top. "Give up!" E-91 Ku-no-i-chi says before Steven and Knuckles shouted while continued getting electrocuted.
The memory shows the Master Emerald glowing while lighting strikes around it again.
Back to reality, Steven and Knuckles continued to shout. Hawk then threw a body of water at E-91 Ku-no-i-chi causing E-91 Ku-no-i-chi to shoot electricity and blow smoke out of it's shoulder. The Red Chaos Emerald fell down and Hawk took the chance to grab it. Steven and Knuckles got then free from the electrical rope. "Let's finish that off, Steven!" Knuckles says, "Okay!" Steven says before Knuckles punched E-91 Ku-no-i-chi. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi got sent flying straight and Steven took the chance to jump up and let out a battle cry. Steven gives a powerful kick to E-91 Ku-no-i-chi upwards. E-91 Ku-no-i-chi got shot up in the sky and disappeared with a twinkle in the end. Steven calms down a bit while looking up before Hawk goes up to him and Knuckles. Hawk then shows Steven and Knuckles the Red Chaos Emerald with a smile on his face before chuckling a bit. Steven and Knuckles looked at each other and then smiled back as they place their hands on top of the Red Chaos Emerald while shaking hands with Hawk.
The next morning at the docks, Steven and Knuckles were about to leave on Steven's boat while saying goodbye to Hawk. Steven also got the cut from his chest taken care of. Steven also had a bag souvenirs with him too. "So you guys are traveling again?" Hawk asked, "Yeah" Knuckles says, "Well, I know you both have to be on your way. But maybe you two could come back sometime to visit. Because I'm gonna miss you both, Steven and Knuckles" Hawk says, "We're gonna miss you too, Hawk. And thank you for everything you taught me as well as helping us get the Chaos Emerald back" Steven says while he started untying the rope from the dock. "Steven, wait! I have a present for you" Hawk says before he takes it out of his jacket. "A present?" Steven asked, "Yes, look at it" Hawk says before he gave it to Steven. Steven opens it up and gasped as it revealed a white buttoned up Chinese Kung Fu shirt that was Steven's size. "Wow, Hawk! how did you?" Steven asked as he looked at the shirt. "I have my ways and after that fight you had last night, you deserve a sign as an Official Martial Artist" Hawk says, "Wow, Great! Thank you, Hawk. I promise I'll take good care of it" Steven says, "You're welcome, Steven" Hawk says while he had tears in his eyes before wiping them. Steven then removed the rope from the dock and the boat started sailing away. "Don't worry, Hawk. We'll meet again someday. Won't we, Knuckles?" Steven asked the boat went further away from the docks. "Yes, we'll be back. See ya, Hawk!" Knuckles says as he gave a thumbs up towards Hawk. "So long, my friends" Hawk says, "Hawk, this is for you!" Steven says before he threw a bag towards Hawk. Hawk catches it and looks inside. Hawk gasped as he saw some gold and jewelry. "A thank you gift from me! Don't spend it all at once!" Steven says, "Thank you!" Hawk says before he runs further at the edge of the platform and waved. "Goodbye, Steven and Knuckles! Come back soon!" Hawk says as the boat went further while Hawk continued waving and crying a bit.
At the ocean, Knuckles looked at the ocean while Steven tried on the White Chinese Kung Fu shirt. "This fits perfect" Steven says before going up to Knuckles. "Knuckles, I'll drop you off wherever that's good for you and then I'll be on my way. How does that sound?" Steven asked before Knuckles looked at the glowing Red Chaos Emerald in his hand. Then suddenly, the Red Chaos Emerald started to glow crazy and the glow spreads around Knuckles and Steven. "Wha?" Steven asked before he and Knuckles get caught in the glow.
At a white space, Steven and Knuckles were confused to the location they were in. "Where are we...?" Knuckles asked, "Is a Chaos Emerald supposed to do that?" Steven asked, "I don't know, Steven" Knuckles says.
The white space clears and it transported Steven and Knuckles to the shrine of the Master Emerald. "Ah!" Knuckles says as he turns towards the shrine. Steven turned around and gasped. "Is that...?" Steven asked as they see the Master Emerald glowing. "The servers are the seven Chaos..." a female's voice said off screen, "The servers are the Seven Chaos...? What does that mean?" Knuckles asked, "Is it some kind of warning?" Steven asked before the Master Emerald glowed crazy and the glow spreads around, leaving Steven and Knuckles in shock as they get caught in the glow.
Back at the ocean in reality, Steven and Knuckles were back and they looked at the sky. "What was... that all about...?" Knuckles asked as he and Steven looked at the glowing Red Chaos Emerald. "Whatever it was, we'll have to figure this out ourselves" Steven says, "Yes... Yes we do..." Knuckles says, "The servers are the seven Chaos..." the female's voice said off screen in Knuckles and Steven's heads as this mysterious event is something that they both have to figure out one day.
Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)
Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! After I've been trying to research what happened back with me and Knuckles, Sonic thought it be best if me, him, Tails and Chris to take a trip with just the four of us. So as we did so, our stop was gonna be at the Savanna. The Home of all wildlife. So as we were enjoying the peaceful time here, me, Tails and Chris spotted two men building a Dam around the area, but there was no water around the area so this Dam was going to be useless if it was built. So as me, Tails and Chris told them to stop, they refused to listen and I got a bit angry from the way they acted towards Chris and Tails, but luckily I remembered what Helen told me and I cooled my jets off. So now it looks like we'll have to have a protest with the help of the city people and the Savanna animals. After we did so, the men eventually stopped building the Dam, but they had other plans to carry this on forward. Then suddenly, Dr. Eggman's new E-Series robot came into the Savanna to wreck havoc! Now it looks like we won't be getting out of here without a fight! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Huge Shoot-out on the Savanna! ("The Dam Scam"). Let's get wild!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
