Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

Huge Shoot-out on the Savanna! (The Dam Scam)

At a Savanna, a lioness was bathing her cub, three giraffes were eating leaves from the trees and a hippo yawned from the lake.

Above the Savanna, the-X Tornado was flying in the sky with Sonic on the nose and Tails, Chris and Steven in the seats. Steven recently returned back to Sonic and everyone after his adventure along with his adventure with Knuckles and Hawk. Steven told Sonic and everyone that he, Knuckles and Hawk have been through and were surprised from the story. Steven also said that Knuckles was gonna hold onto the Red Chaos Emerald until they find all Seven of them. Mr. Tanaka was also surprised that Steven learned Chinese Martial Arts as well as getting a white Kung Fu shirt. Mr. Tanaka started to do some thinking after he heard all this. After Steven told them everything, he was also doing some thinking and research when he and Knuckles were transported to the shrine of the Master Emerald and heard a female voice say "The servers are the Seven Chaos". After doing some research, Steven wrote a note and thinks that the number 7 is the number of the Chaos Emeralds, but Steven couldn't figure out why were the 7 Emeralds titled "Chaos". After a lot of thinking, Steven decided to take a break to clear his head. Steven decided to practice on performing a spin attack without the use of a power ring. Steven's tried this a few times until he decides to take a few breaks. Steven realized he needs a break from everything and told Sonic that he wanted to go out and get fresh air. Sonic thought that he, Steven, Tails and Chris should have a day out with just the four of them. So now, they were gonna spend it at the Savanna. "This place is amazing. All the wildlife here is really wild. Let's land and take a closer look" Tails says, "Mmm-hmm" Sonic says as he nodded. "So there is where the wildlife live. They're's a lot of space to build a home anywhere" Steven says as he looks at the open field. It reminded Steven on when he was a surviving Hedgehog back then. Then suddenly, Chris shouts. This caused Steven to be alerted. "Chris, what's wrong!?" Steven asked before pointing at the radar. "Tails, check the radar! Mayday!" Chris says. Tails looks at the radar and shouts. Steven then looks up and gasped.

Above the X-Tornado was the Eggfort flying above them. "He's here!" Chris says off screen, "He's back from his defeat in Oriental City!" Steven says off screen.

At the Eggfort, a glimpse of the bridge was seen.

Inside the bridge of the Eggfort, Dr. Eggman spotted the X-Tornado. "We caught them by surprise! Quick, fire now!" Dr. Eggman says, "Roger!" Decoe and Bocoe say at the same time while they saluted.

Back outside the Eggfort, missiles were launched.

Back at the X-Tornado, Steven sees the incoming missiles. "Here they come! Get ready, everyone!" Steven says off screen before the X-Tornado speeds up and Chris yelled off screen. The missiles then exploded around the X-Tornado. The X-Tornado continues flying fast before Sonic did some leg stretches. "Five, six, seven, eight!" Sonic says before he stands up "Huh, time for some fun" Sonic says, "What are you gonna do, Sonic?" Chris asked, "Ha. You'll see" Sonic says before he opens his hand that had a power ring. "Go for it!" Steven says before Sonic had a aura and jumped off the X-Tornado.

Sonic then flies towards the to the Eggfort before forming into his powerful spin attack as he got closer.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort, Decoe and Bocoe sweat nervously while shaking. "Sonic is coming at us!" Bocoe says, "No, no!" Decoe says, "Quick, fire!" Dr. Eggman says, "Too late!" Bocoe says while Decoe broke into pieces.

Back outside the Eggfort, Sonic smashed through the Eggort and explosions blew up from the inside.

Back inside the bridge of Eggfort, Dr. Eggman panics. "Oh, no" Dr. Eggman says while Decoe and Bocoe hug each other. "We are going to crash!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time.

Back at the X-Tornado, Chris and Steven saw the Eggfort go down. "All right!" Chris says, "Let's go pick him up" Steven says before the X-Tornado slows down and decends towards to the Eggort. Then suddenly, an explosion blew up next to the X Tornado. "Uh-oh!" Tails says, "Whoa!" Steven says before he and the others saw debris falling out. The X -Tornado makes a turn while dodging the debris. Then suddenly, a piece of debris knocks one of the wings off.

Inside the X-Tornado, Steven, Tails and Chris felt the shake from inside. "The wing!" Tails says, "Look out!" Chris says, "Brace yourselves!" Steven says.

Back outside the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado spun around with smoke flying around as they were about to make an emergency crash landing.

Back on the ground of the Savanna, a Panther was watching Tails fix the X Tornado from underneath. Steven was inspecting the area where the wing got cut off and Chris was sitting down looking bored as he watched Tails fixing the X-Tornado. Chris then turns to Steven. "How's the wing look, Steven?" Chris asked before Steven went up to him. "The wing got completely ripped off. We'll have to look around and find it after we get the X Tornado back on its feet to screw it back on" Steven says, "Huh" Chris says. After a few seconds, Tails finished. "Okay" Tails says before he slides out from underneath. "I fixed it!" Tails says, "Great, let's get going" Steven says, "But, guys, the wing is still broken" Chris says, "You're right. This machine can't fly..." Tails says before sitting down in the pilot seat. "So we'll walk" Tails says before pressing a button. The X-Tornado transformed into the X-Cyclone. "I forgot the X Tornado can walk" Chris says until Steven noticed one of the legs was about to break. "Look out!" Steven says before he pushed Chris a bit while the leg ripped off. This caused the X-Cyclone to tip over with smoke flying around. Chris and Steven cough from the smoke while smiling nervously. "Oh boy..." Steven says, "Still needs work" Chris says before Tails laughs a bit while being upside down and the seat belts hanging. A few minutes later, Tails was tightening the screws for the leg with Chris was watching and Steven was practicing on his spin attack. "Can I do something to help?" Chris asked before he puts a wrench away. "No, thanks. I can handle this myself" Tails says as he grabbed pliers. "Oh, ho-hum, ha" Chris says before he looks around. "It sure is quiet around here. Uh, hmm" Chris says before he pulls out his white flip phone and opens it to see a construction worker looking down while sweat-dropping and holding a white sign that had an X on it. The phone didn't have any bars or service. "I don't have any phone service here" Chris says off screen before walking up to where Steven was. "How's your spin attack practice going, Steven?" Chris asked before Steven stopped and went up to Chris. "It's going good, Chris. I'm still getting used to it and making sure my aim is perfect for my spin attack to be powerful enough without a power ring. I want to make sure I'm fully used to it so that way I can use it multiple times" Steven says, "That's great. You'll be able to master it in no time" Chris says, "Yeah, I hope so. In fact, it feels a lot better when I exercise and train outside in the open space and fresh air. It helps me clear my mind off of things so I can focus" Steven says before he drinks a bottle of water. "Yeah, it wouldn't be good for anyone to have too many thoughts in their head" Chris says, "No it wouldn't" Steven says, "Have you learned any new tricks recently?" Chris asked, "Other than Spin attacking and Chinese Martial Arts, not yet. I want to try other fighting techniques so that way I'll be capable of protecting myself and others without any more issues" Steven says, "That's good to know. I'm sure you'll be able to learn them soon" Chris says, "Yeah, me too" Steven says before he went on practicing his spin attack. Chris decided to sit down by a tree under the shade and sighs before laying down while Steven and Tails continued doing their thing. Chris sighs again while he felt tired as the sun shined through the leaves. Chris the yawns. "You can take a nap and continue training, if you want, guys" Tails says off screen getting Chris and Steven's attention a bit before Chris sits up. "It's gonna take some time to do these repairs" Tails says as he used a Torch tool. "Okay" Chris says, "Thanks, Tails" Steven says, "I'll let you two know when I'm done" Tails says, "Oh, thanks. You know, guys, there's something about this place that's really different from home" Chris says while looking around at the Savanna. "Really?" Tails and Steven asked at the same time before Steven stopped and listened. "Yeah. Time seems to move slower here than in the city. Don't you feel it's different?" Chris asked off screen.

At another part of the Savanna, zebras were eating grass. "No, this place feels familiar in a certain way. It's like being back home" Tails says off screen.

Back with Steven, Tails and Chris, they continue to talk. "Same here. It reminds me of back at my cave home I was living at before all this even started" Steven says while he went up to Chris and sat down next to him. "You guys must really miss it there" Chris says, "I missed it really bad at first, but now I also like Station Square. Someday I wanna start an engineering company there and build bots and machines" Tails says, "Wow really?" Steven asked, "That's cool... When it comes to building machines, you're the best there is, Tails" Chris says, "Thanks. So what do you think you wanna do when you're older?" Tails asked, "Well, I. I really wanna study Zoology. I think. Grandpa and my dad want me to like building machines just like they do. But since I met you guys, I figured out I'm more interested in animals than machines" Chris says before he realized what he said and panicked. "I don't mean that you are just animals, you know!" Chris says before Steven laughed a bit. "Don't worry, Chris. We understand. Personally, I think it's a good idea for you to follow your own dream and not just your dad and Chuck's dreams" Steven says, "Thanks, Steven. Steven, you like the city better, right?" Chris asked, "Well I wouldn't say better, I still like living in a calming environment like this because it's similar to where I grew up and it feels more comfortable. But at the same time, the cities have a lot more places to explore and learn from them. So I guess you can say I like both the city and country" Steven says, "You really like to learn a lot, do you, Steven?" Chris asked, "Yeah, I do, Chris. But after everything I've been through recently, I just thought of an idea" Steven says, "What is it?" Tails asked while he continued using the torch tool. "Since I like both the country and the city equally, I'm thinking about finding an open field place near Station Square and have my own place to live there one day if I ever want to visit Earth" Steven says, "Really, Steven?" Chris asked, "Yeah, Chris. I've learned how to survive on my own back then and and now I'm learning a-lot on Earth as well as getting stronger. I think for me having my own house here would be good for me so that I can live in the society that you all live in. I think that's another one of my goals that I want to achieve in life" Steven says, "Wow. That's amazing. I hope your dream comes true then, Steven" Chris says, "Yeah. I hope so too..." Steven says, "Great, I'm done! And this time, I'm sure it really is fixed, guys. Let's go and look for Sonic and the wing" Tails says before Chris and Steven stand up. "Right" Steven and Chris said at the same time. Steven, Tails and Chris got in the X-Cyclone and started walking through the Savanna.

At another part of the Savanna, the Eggfort was seen crashed in a lake and had smoke flying out. A small door opens to reveal Dr. Eggman and coughs from the smoke. "Blast that hedgehog! Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked before he saw three crocodiles look at him and one growls and opens it's mouth. "Crocodiles!" Dr. Eggman says before the Eggfort sparked electricity, causing the lake to get electrocuted too. After it stopped, all the crocodiles came up from underwater and were on their backs as they were now dead.

Inside the Eggfort, it revealed Dr. Eggman flipped a switch that had a pirate skull on it. "They're so rude! I have an IQ of 300. I won't let you eat my brain" Dr. Eggman says as he looked at the readers.

Back outside of the Eggfort, another door opens.

Back inside the Eggfort, a Gorilla-like robot elevates towards the open door.

Back outside of the Eggfort, Gorilla-like robot came out with Decoe and Bocoe inside the robot. The robot's name was E-65 Gorru-Gaooh. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh growls before beating its chest while Decoe and Bocoe yelled and held onto something. "Oh, E65 is going ape!" Decoe says, "Stop monkeying around. We have a mission to complete!" Bocoe says before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh roars and stops. "Time to go" Decoe says, "Dr. Eggman, we will contact you when we find Sonic and Steven" Bocoe says as Dr. Eggman went back outside to see the dead crocodiles before looking up to E-65 Gorru-Gaooh. "Don't fail me" Dr. Eggman says, "Yes, Doctor. Take off, E65" Decoe says before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh's jetpacks activated and flew into the trees.

At another part of the Savanna, Sonic was running around with his arms behind his back. "Hah! I love it here 'cause there's plenty of room to run around!" Sonic says before he lets his arms out as he ran faster leaving dust behind. Sonic slowed his running a bit before looking around. "Steven, Tails and Chris must've landed the X Tornado somewhere around here. Huh" Sonic says before he turned around and saw a cheetah running next to him on the left. "Wow! You're pretty fast for a kitty cat!" Sonic says and the cheetah snarls at Sonic. "So, you wanna race, huh?" Sonic asked before he looks at the Cheetah's front legs and back legs. "Well, you are pretty speedy compared to all the other animals on this slow pokey planet. But on the raceway, I'm a real tiger. See!?" Sonic asked before picking up the cheetah, catching the cheetah by surprised. Sonic then speeds up while the cheetah whimper while Sonic laughs before glowing as they sped up across the Savanna. "He became the first cheetah to run at supersonic speed"the announcer says.

At another part of the Savanna, there were construction workers digging holes on the ground, operating bulldozers, and a few trucks carrying dirt and taking them away.

Outside of the construction zone, the X-Tornado stopped walking in front of the construction while Steven, Tails and Chris looked at the area. "I wonder what they're building here" Tails asked, "Isn't this a nature preserve?" Chris asked, "Whatever they're doing, it doesn't look right for some reason" Steven says, "Get it moving there" A man named Aibo says while the construction workers moved forward

Back at the construction zone, Aibo was with another man named Boris. "Hurry! We have deadline to meet with..." Boris says before Aibo crosses his arms. "Boris, we need to get this done quick and get out of here" Aibo says off screen while Steven, Tails and Chris enter the construction zone and go up to Boris and Aibo. "Ah... Sir, could you tell us what you're building?" Chris asked before Boris and Aibo turn towards them. "How did you get here? This is a restricted area! It's dangerous! Can't you see we are building a dam" Aibo says, "Okay, we didn't know. Calm down" Steven says, not liking the attitude. "A dam!?" Chris asked, "What's a dam?" Tails asked as he turned to Chris.

A picture shows a dam at a big river. "It's something you build when you wanna hold back the water from a river or a lake and bring the water to the valleys" Chris says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven, Tails and Chris continue. "Rivers, lakes and valleys?" Steven asked, "That's right" Chris says off screen, "But Chris, I I" Tails says as he looks around.

Above the construction zone, there was no lake or river around the area. "...Don't see any water around here!" Tails says off screen, "Then what's the point on building this dam in the middle of the Savanna?" Steven asked off screen. "Yeah. How came you're..." Chris says off screen.

Back at the construction site, Chris continues off screen. "...Building a dam here, sir?" Chris asked before Steven and Tails turn around and see a bunch of animals including the cheetah from before. "You are being like that elephant over there, too nosey" Aibo says off screen.

Back outside of the construction zone, the animals looked sad. It's none of your business what we are doing" Aibo says off screen.

Back to the construction zone, Steven and Tails gasped before turning forward. "But if you guys thought about what will happen to the wildlife around here after you're done building this thing..." Tails says, "Think about all the animals that are living here. Do you realize what will happen to the animals if you continue building this dam?" Steven asked, "Who cares about wildlife. Ivan, come here and introduce yourself to these pests" Aibo says before Ivan stepped forward while laughing. Ivan then cracked his knuckles. "Sorry about this" Ivan says as he continued cracking his knuckles. Tails and Chris were then thrown to the ground. Steven saw this and got mad. "What do you think you're doing?" Tails asked as he and Chris sit up and look up. "What's wrong with you people!?" Steven asked angrily. "Now, go get lost or I'll send Ivan here to find you again!" Aibo says before he turns around. "Let's go" Aibo says before he, Boris and Ivan walked away. Tails and Chris grunted while Steven helps them up. "Are you guys okay?" Steven asked, "Yeah, we're fine" Chris says before they all got up.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven was talking to Chris. "Looks like we'll have to..." Steven says before Tails faces the animals. "Listen up, you losers! You're just a bunch of wimps! You deserve to lose your home" Tails says off screen, making all animals look more sad. Steven and Chris looked at Tails nervously. "Tails..." Steven says, "You, okay?" Chris asked before Tails whimpers and looks down. "Sorry, it's just… I was also..." Tails says.

A flashback plays in a forest of Tails getting bullied by other Mobian animals with one of them holding Tails back and the other two looking at Tails' invention on a big rock. "Back in the world I came from…" Tails says off screen. "Blow it to pieces!" an orange Mobian Fox says, "No, no, please don't! Leave it alone you guys!" Tails says before the big Mobian Bear raises it's stick. "No, keep away!" Tails says before the Bear Mobian smashes the invention.

At another part of the forest, Tails was sad and sobs a bit while he was holding to what's left of his invention. Then suddenly, he heard something. It revealed Sonic running through the forest before stopping as he looked around. Tails spies on him from the bushes. Sonic sniffs the area before running through the forest again. "Whoa! That guy is cool! I wonder where he's going?" Tails asked before he runs in Sonic's direction.

Outside the forest was a beach. On the beach, there was the Tornado 2 in red. Tails than arrives and looks at the Red Tornado 2. "Amazing! What is this?" Tails asked before climbing up to the pilot's seat. "Wow! This plane looks pretty fast! But I bet I can make it even faster!" Tails says. Tails then began to paint the Tornado 2 in blue and hums. While he was painting, Sonic sees this and walks by. "What do you think you're doing?" Sonic asked, getting Tails' attention before Tails turns around and sees Sonic crossing his arms with a smile on his face. Tails then jumps down and rubs the back of his head. "Sorry! But when I see a machine, I can't help myself... I hope you don't mind I changed the engine to make it faster..." Tails says before Sonic looks at the Tornado 2. "Hmm, I like what you did with the color too" Sonic says, making Tails happy. "Haha. Come and see what else I did!" Tails says before Sonic walked up to him and the Tornado 2. "So, you've been following me around all morning to check out my airplane or is there something else you want" Sonic says before Tails nervously rubbed the back of his again. "Well, you see, I like to build and repair stuff, so they all make fun of me. You looked cool, so I followed you and when I found your plane, I figured I'd fix it up and we could be friends. If you want to" Tails says, "Well, what's your name, pal?" Sonic asked, "Miles Prowler! But my friends call me Tails..." Tails says, "My name's Sonic! Nice job, Tails... I could use a mechanic and a friend" Sonic says while looking at the Tornado 2 and Tails looked surprised again. "You mean that?" Tails asked, "You bet!" Sonic says giving a thumbs up.

Back to reality, Tails finished his story. "Everybody picked on me" Tails says while the animals feel his sadness before looking back at the animals. "I couldn't do anything either. But I changed my mind ever since I met Sonic. He inspired me to do my best. And now the only thing I can do is..." Tails says in his head while Steven felt back for Tails. "I'm sorry you had a rough time back then, Tails" Steven says as he rubs Tails' shoulder. "It's okay, Steven. It's not your fault" Tails says, "I know, but if it makes you feel better, you remind me of myself back then, too" Steven says, "I do?" Tails asked, "Yeah. remember I told you all that I had little confidence issues?" Steven asked, "Yeah" Tails says, "Hey, that's right" Chris says, "Yeah. Before all this started, I had confidence issues that kept getting in my way back then, but after I met you two and the others, my boost of confidence have increased thanks to all your supports. Don't worry, Tails. You're not the only one that goes through a rough time in the past. Everyone has moments when they feel they can't do anything. You're not the only one so you have everyone to relate with" Steven says, "I know, Steven" Tails says, "Don't let negativity that others say about you get to you. It doesn't matter what they say, words can't change the real you. Only you can change yourself and no one else" Steven says. Tails thinks about it before smiling along with Chris. "You're right. Thanks, Steven. I needed that" Tails says, "No problem, Tails. I'm just looking out for the ones I care about" Steven says, "You know, Steven? You can be a therapist for the way you give advice" Chris says, "I can?" Steven asked, "Yeah, you really do know how to make someone feel batter" Tails says and Steven chuckles a bit. "Thanks, I sure do" Steven says before they face back to the animals. "Now if somebody doesn't stop these bullies, they'll wreck this place. And I won't let that happen..." Tails says in his head before turning around looking at the construction.

Back inside the construction zone, Tails walked in. "Tails, what are you doing?" Steven asked off screen, "You two take your bulldozers and get out!" Tails says, "This little furball is really starting to get on my nerves!" Aibo says and Boris groans. "Go home!" Boris says, "If you don't stop, those animals will lose their home" Tails says before a bulldozer was driving towards Tails. "You better close this construction site now or I'll close it myself...!" Tails says before a cast of a shadow goes over him. Tails turns around and gasped. "Tails!" Steven says off screen before he grabbed Tails and ran.

Back outside of the construction, Chris and the animals saw what happened.. "Uh-oh!" Chris says before Steven and Tails go up to him. Steven sets Tails down and Tails hides behind Steven.

Back inside the construction zone, The bulldozer then stops.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven looked angry again before he steps a bit forward. "Are you serious right now!? Throwing my friends on the ground and now trying to run one of them over with your big contraption!? Do you guys even care for wildlife at all!?" Steven asked.

Back inside the construction zone, Boris steps forward. "Next time you bother with us, we dig hole and drop you in" Boris says.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven continued to look angry while Chris and Tails got nervous. "Oh yeah!? What if we do bother you again without consequences!?" Steven asked before growling and his quills raised up a bit.

Back inside the construction zone, Boris answered. "Then Aibo will charge you, Hedgehog for trespassing and attempt felony!" Boris says before walking away.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven continued growling. Then suddenly, his eyes flashed yellow for short period. "Steven..." Chris says nervously. "Are you okay...?" Tails asked nervously. As Steven heard Chris and Tails, he gasped a bit.

A flashback shows Steven and Helen talking inside the G.U.N Chopper.

Back to reality, Steven closed his eyes and relaxed. As Steven did this, his quills went back to normal before he sighs and opens his eyes. "Are you okay, Steven?" Tails asked before Steven sighs again. "Yeah. I'm fine. Sorry about that, guys" Steven says, "I've never seen you that angry before, Steven" Chris says, "What was that exactly?" Tails asked, "I'm not exactly sure, but it only happens when something makes me angry" Steven says, "But we've seen how serious you can be. This has to be something else because you're not exactly someone that gets angry" Chris says, "Have this ever happened to you before, Steven?" Tails asked, "Yes, it was when me and Helen were spending the day together for when those G.U.N soldiers were forcing me to do something I didn't want to do. Other than that, no. Not from what I can remember" Steven says, "Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't happen again" Chris says, "I know. I guess I must have lost it for when those men didn't think about the animals, the wildlife, Tails almost getting ran over, and now threatening us in a ridiculous matter. I was almost about actually attempt something, but luckily I remembered the promise I made for Helen to control my emotions. So I calmed down for a bit. I'm sorry if I scared you guys. I hope to never do that in front of you two again" Steven says, "It's okay, Steven. We understand. It's like you said, "Everyone has their moments". You're not the only one. Just try not to let it get to you too much" Tails says, "Yeah, Steven. We like you to be the happy and lovable Steven we know and love" Chris says, making Steven chuckle a bit. "Thanks, guys. I'll try to keep in control, but right now, we've gotta put an end to this Dam" Steven says, "That's right. You know, guys, if we're gonna do this, we're gonna need some help to stop this dam from getting built" Chris says, "You're right. Looks like we do" Steven says, "But who?" Tails asked before the animals come close to them as a way of saying "we'll join you" which makes Steven, Tails and Chris smile. "Okay!" Tails says, "Let's do this!" Steven says.

At a another part of the Savanna, there was a town in the area.

At the town, Steven, Tails and Chris were riding on an elephant with other animals with them, getting the town's people's attention. "Listen up, everybody! We have to work together!" Chris says, "There's a Dam being built on the Veld. Did any of you know about this?" Tails asked, "What...? Building a dam...? No, not at all..." a man says from the crowd off screen before people chatted. "Then we all have to work together to fight and protect this nature preserve! We can really use all the help we can get so we'd appreciate if you all help not only us, but to every living wildlife's family and children. So let's do this!" Steven says before the crowd cheered. Steven, Tails and Chris smiled at each other while Chris and Steven give thumbs up.

Back outside of the construction zone, people were protesting and holding up signs of pictures of the dam being crossed off and some Japanese writing.

while the construction workers are trying to block the crowd from getting in. "Hey, what's going on!?" a man asked in the crowd off screen, "We don't need any Dams in a place like this!" Another man from the crowd says.

Back inside the construction zone, Boris and Aibo saw everything before Sergei raises his hands up nervously. "But we build this dam to generate power for your homes to run blenders and other electronic devices! We could even prevent a mudslide with this Dam to hold it off!" Aibo says.

Back outside of the construction zone, the crowd continues to protest. "How could there be a mudslide in a veld like this?" the man from the crowd asked.

Back inside the construction zone, Sergei continued to look nervous. "Da... okay..." Sergei says before he and Boris look to their left to see Steven Tails, Chris and a whole bunch of animals standing while smiling from the other side of the gate. "Darn it! So those three brought this mob here..." Boris says, "That's right, and you better shut this dam down or you'll have to face the crowd up close and personal" Steven says before construction workers continued digging holes on the ground. "Stop this construction immediately!" The man says off screen before a bulldozer digs out dirt. "Everyone, we understand. But please... let us build the dam for now!" Aibo says off screen as more trucks drive while carrying more dirt. "We can take it down after it's been set up" Aibo says off screen.

Back outside of the construction zone, the crowd continues to protest. "Even so... There's no reason you have to keep building it!" The man says from the crowd off screen.

Back inside the construction zone, Boris and Aibo looked more nervous while sweat dropping. "Uhh...Yeah" Aibo and Boris said at the same time.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven, Tails and Chris got into a group hug. "We did it!" Steven says, "Yeah!" Tails says, "Okay!" Chris says before they all laugh.

At another part of the Savanna, Aibo was taking out oil tanks from his and Boris's jeep. "Have no fear, Boris... The dam will be finished and we will be rich" Aibo says, "But without water here, how can dam make power?" Boris asked, "It's dry now. But pouring this gas on plants and setting it on fire will cause a natural disaster" Aibo says.

Aibo's imagination shows the Savanna caught on fire and being flooded from the rain. "When plants burn up, rain water will have no where to flow. Soon, whole land will flood and people will beg us to finish dam..." Aibo says off screen.

Back to reality, Aibo continues. "And we will make them to pay" Aibo says, "Aibo, I am loving this plan!" Boris says footsteps were heard. Aibo and Boris turn around and see E-65 Gorru-Gaooh move two trees out the way while making gorilla noises. This made Aibo and Boris to look scared. "A...A monkey monster!" Aibo says, "We have intruded its territory! We are sorry!" Boris says before he gets on his knees with tears coming out of his eyes. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh then gets a closer look along with Decoe and Bocoe inside. "They are not Sonic or Steven!" Decoe says, "Neither of them bears a resemblance to a blue hedgehog or a brown hedgehog..." Bocoe says before he looks forward and points forward. "Like that blue one, you see!" Bocoe says as there was something headed their way. It revealed Sonic running towards them with a blue glow around him while laughing. This made Decoe panic. "But that really is Sonic!" Decoe says, "Move it, E65! Go catch Sonic now!" Bocoe says before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh made gorilla grunting noises and beats its chest. This made Decoe and Bocoe to yell a bit. "Pound on Sonic, not us!" Decoe says, "That's enough!" Bocoe says as he held on before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh stops and rushes to Sonic. Sonic saw E-65 Gorru-Gaooh running up to him. "Wanna challenge me, chimp?" Sonic asked before he speeds past E-65 Gorru-Gaooh, making it trip and fall on the ground. Sonic then runs past Aibo and Boris and goes up a branch. "Hey, you artificial ape! I'm right here!" Sonic says and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh charges while passing Aibo and Boris. Sonic jumps out the way before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh pulls off the branch and blends in camouflage while running and making gorilla noises. Aibo and Boris witnessed it all in shock. "Aibo, please. Let's forget the dam" Boris says, "No way" Aibo says before turning to Boris. "Grab the gasoline cans..." Aibo says, "Okay!" Boris says before they carry the gasoline cans and run into the forest while panting.

Back with Sonic, he was still running until he stopped to wait for E-65 Gorru-Gaooh. "Hah! Lost it! That big ape moves more like a slug, huh?" Sonic says before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh jumps down from behind. Sonic turns his head before he was punched. Sonic then dragged on the ground before sitting up. "That big slug just slugged me! Oh. Huh" Sonic says as he looked around before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh appears from camouflage from behind and kicks Sonic. "Argh. Uggh" Sonic says as he crashed on the ground again.

Back with Boris and Aibo, they were about to pour the gasoline tanks. "You will pour gas on trees. I light fire" Aibo says, "Yes, Aibo..." Boris says until Dr. Eggman appears from behind them in his Eggmobile. "I beg your pardon..." Dr. Eggman says, getting Aibo and Boris' attention. "Ehh?" Aibo asked, "Did either of you gents see a blue hedgehog run by here?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Another crazy weirdo" Aibo says, causing Dr. Eggman to growl. "So I'm a crazy weirdo, am I? Well, I have news for you, Mr. Big shot. I'm going to cut you down to size. Unforgivable!" Dr. Eggman says and shouts before he pressed a button on his Egg Mobile. The Egg Mobile fired a laser which zapped through the trees before the trees were cut in half. This made Aibo and Boris carry the gasoline cans and runaway in panic. "Forget them!?" Aibo asked, "We go home now!?" Boris asked before Dr. Eggman watches them leave and laugh. "That's right, keep running! You're just like that lily livered Sonic. Hah" Dr. Eggman says as he turns his head and flies in that direction. "Speak of the daredevil" Dr. Eggman says.

Back with Sonic, he was still running while trying to look for E-65 Gorru-Gaooh as E-65 Gorru-Gaooh camouflaged again. "Eggman built this robot with camouflage ability. How can I defeat somethin' I can't even see?" Sonic asked in his head as E-65 Gorru-Gaooh pops out and punches Sonic to the ground before using camouflage and running off. This left Sonic flat on the ground. Sonic moans as he sits up. "Darn it..." Sonic says before Dr. Eggman laughs off screen and and Sonic looks up to see Dr. Eggman flying close. "You've met your match!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic stands up. "Eggman!" Sonic says, "E65 strikes without warning!" Dr. Eggman says before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh punches Sonic. "Uggh. Whoa" Sonic says as he tumbles backwards before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh punches Sonic two times. "Uggh. Uggh" Sonic says and Dr. Eggman laughed. "E65 will make a monkey out of Sonic!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic gets back up. "Where's that robot?" Sonic asked while E-65 Gorru-Gaooh was camouflaged again. "Wait a second" Sonic says in his head as he closes his eyes and tries to concentrate and listen carefully while E-65 Gorru-Gaooh was about to attack.

Sonic then appears in a dark open area."Steven told me the skills he learned on his adventures and one of them is that if I can't see that thing, I'll have to hear and sense it" Sonic says in his head as he focuses.

Another black and white clip shows E-65 Gorru-Gaooh before the colors came back. Sonic opens his eyes before screaming while charging to where E-65 Gorru-Gaooh was. "Over there!" Sonic says before he hits E-65 Gorru-Gaooh's chest, making E-65 Gorru-Gaooh moan and reappear before falling on the ground. Sonic the runs off. "Get back here, Sonic! You coward!" Dr. Eggman says, "No, come and get me, Eggman!" Sonic says, "Don't just lie there, follow that hedgehog!" Dr. Eggman says as E-65 Gorru-Gaooh sits up.

On the road, Aibo and Boris were in their jeep as they were driving away while Boris panicked. "There are monsters all over that forest!" Boris says, "Calm down!" Aibo says before he see Sonic running from the rear window. Sonic runs pass the jeep, leaving Aibo and Boris in surprised before they look at the rear mirror again to see Dr. Eggman and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh chasing after Sonic. Aibo then moves the jeep over. "Leave us alone!" Aibo says. Sonic chuckles and looks behind to see Dr. Eggman and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh continue chasing him before speeding up.

Back outside of the construction zone, Steven, Tails, and Chris were about to leave as they were saying goodbye to the animals. "Now that everything is okay here, Chris, Steven and I are gonna go back home" Tails says off screen while the animals looked happy. "We're really glad that your preserve is safe again" Chris says off screen, "Thank you for all of your help today" Steven says off screen before Tails turns to Steven and Chris. "Let's go look for Sonic and the wing now" Tails says as Steven and Chris nodded before Chris looked to his left. It revealed Sonic was running towards them with a glow. Chris then steps forward. "Sonic!" Chris says before Tails steps forward and waves. "Haha, hey!" Tails says before Steven steps forward and waves too. "Hey, Sonic!" Steven says. Sonic then notices Steven, Tails and Chris "Hi!" Sonic says before he stops in front of them. "Hey, Steven, Tails and Chris. What have you guys been up to today?" Sonic asked as he saluted to them. "We stopped these guys from building a huge dam and saved a nature preserve!" Chris says, "What about you? What have you been doing, Sonic?" Steven asked. Before Sonic said anything, gorilla sounds we're heard off screen. This caused Sonic, Steven, Tails and Chris to turn around and see Dr. Eggman and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh heading towards them. "There's Sonic and Steven! Hurry!" Dr. Eggman says. This caused Tails and Chris to look nervous while backing away a bit. "Dr. Eggman!" Steven says, "Oh, no! W...What do we do now!?" Chris asked, "Me and Steven can take care of this. Let's go, Steven!" Sonic says before he runs. "Okay!" Steven says before he and runs after Sonic into the construction site.

Back inside the construction site, Dr. Eggman and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh were about to enter. "Get them, now!" Dr. Eggman says as he and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh went entered. Sonic and Steven stop and face E-65 Gorru-Gaooh before E-65 Gorru-Gaooh does the same. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh jumped while going camouflage. "Camouflage, huh?" Steven asked, "That's right" Sonic says before they see that a bulldozer was making E-65 Gorru-Gaooh a bit visible. "I think I just spotted its weak spot...!" Sonic says, "Perfect!" Steven says. This caused Dr. Eggman to freak out. "Oh, no, E65 camouflages itself when you see it next to plants and rocks... But not when it's up against metal!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic spin dashes and Steven kung fu kicks E-65 Gorru-Gaooh, causing it to fall and be fully visible again. "I must get rid of everything metal! Darn you, darn you, darn you!" Dr. Eggman says as he fires missiles and lasers to the bulldozers and trucks while laughing. This caused explosions to blow up around the area. "Soon E65 will be able to turn invisible again!" Dr. Eggman says as he continued firing his laser. Aibo and Boris drive then by from their jeep. "Huh?" Aibo and Boris asked as they stand up to see Dr. Eggman destroying everything. "There won't be a scrap of metal left here!" Dr. Eggman says, "We got no dam, no equipment, no nothing..." Aibo says before Dr. Eggman shoots a laser at a bulldozer, causing it to explode. The smoke clears to show Sonic spin dashing into E-65 Gorru-Gaooh while Steven fired his blaster weapon while running around it in circles a few times. Decoe and Bocoe then felt the shake from inside. "Sonic and Steven are whopping us big time!" Decoe says, "We better get out of here quick!" Bocoe says before Sonic stopped spin dashing at E-65 Gorru-Gaooh and lands on the ground. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh sits on the ground before Decoe and Bocoe run out of it. "This gorilla is a goner!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time as they ran. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh then freaks while reaching his hand towards Decoe and Bocoe. "Sonic, Steven, catch!" Tails says as he throws two power rings towards Sonic and he catches them. "Here, Steven" Sonic says as he offered Steven the power ring. "Don't worry, Sonic. I won't need it for this one. I want to see if I'm able to perform a perfect spin attack" Steven says, "Okay, sure. Here, Tails!" Sonic says as he throws the other power ring back to Tails and Tails catches it. The power ring in Sonic's hand then glows. Sonic then shuts his hand close. "Let's end this now" Sonic says, "Yeah" Steven says before Sonic had a blue aura and Steven got ready. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh stands back up and they stare at each other. "Okay, time to fully put my spin attack to the ultimate test!" Steven says in his head before Sonic jumped up first. Steven followed and E-65 Gorru-Gaooh charged at them. "BYE-BYE!" Sonic says before spin attacking. "Okay, now!"Steven says in his head before he concentrated and slowly started started spinning. After a few seconds from slow to fast, Steven turned into a powerful spin attack. "Alright! I did it! Here I go!" Steven says before he and Sonic smash through E-65 Gorru-Gaooh's chest. E-65 Gorru-Gaooh shoots out sparks before exploding. Dr. Eggman then gasped in shock. "Ahhhhh, E-65!" Dr. Eggman says, "Go Sonic! Go Steven! Yay!" Tails and Chris said at the same time before Sonic and Steven land on the ground. "Alright! I did it! I can do a spin attack now!" Steven says, "Wow. I'm impressed. Nice one, buddy" Sonic says before he and Steven fist bumped before facing Dr. Eggman in his Egg Mobile. "Okay, Sonic and Steven. Now it's just you two and me!" Dr. Eggman says as he pointed towards them. Sonic was about to go but Steven stopped him. "Wait, Sonic. Let me handle this one" Steven says, "Okay, go ahead" Sonic says before Sonic backed away and Steven got into his Chinese Martial Arts fighting stance. "Bring it on, Dr. Eggman!" Steven says, "Ready!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Bring it!" Steven says.

At another part of the Savanna, a destructive noise was heard while Dr. Eggman screamed in pain.

Back inside the construction zone, Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile was destroyed while Decoe and Bocoe carry Dr. Eggman out of the construction zone with the animals watching. "I'll be back!" Dr. Eggman says while Sonic, Steven, Tails and Chris watch them leave with Chris and Tails laughing off screen. "That wasn't much of challenge" Steven says until Bokkun's laughs off screen, causing and him, Sonic, Tails and Chris to look up and see Bokkun flying towards them before landing in front of them. "I have a message for you, here" Bokkun says as he takes a TV out of his bag and shows it to Sonic and Steven. "It's from Dr. Eggman, of course" Bokkun says before he turns on the TV to show Dr. Eggman beaten up. "You think you've defeated me, but I'm still in command here!" Dr. Eggman says, "Hmm" Sonic says, "And to prove it... I'm going to have Bokkun here perform a little tap-dance"Dr. Eggman says and Bokkun whines while sweat dropping. Bokkun puts the TV back in the bag and does a short tap dance while singing a bit. After a few seconds, Bokkun stopped. "How embarrassing. I'm leaving..." Bokkun says before he cries and flies way. This left Sonic, Steven, Tails and Chris confused. "Oh, I feel terrible" Bokkun says off screen, "I'll admit, I feel bad for him" Steven says.

Back outside of the construction zone, the sky was orange and the local police arrived and were arresting Aibo and Boris as they led them to the car. "You are under arrest for destroying the balance of ecology" the cop says, "Yes, sir" Aibo and Boris said at the same time before Sonic turns around and gives a thumbs up. "You stopped those creeps!" Sonic says, "Yeah" Tails and Chris said at the same time as they nodded with the animals behind them along with the X-Tornado. "But Eggman helped... If he hadn't made us crash, we never would have been here to save the animals" Chris says, "You're right!" Tails says before he and Chris laugh. "Where did Steven go?" Sonic asked, "Hey, guys!" Steven says off screen, getting Sonic, Tails, Chris and the animal's attention as they turn around to see Steven running up to them while holding the broken wing from the X-Tornado. "You found the wing!" Tails says before Steven stops in front of them "That's right! I found it not too far from here. Now we just have to screw it on and we can all fly back home" Steven says, "Good job today, buddy. Good job all of you" Sonic says, "Thanks, Sonic" Steven says before he and Sonic did another fist bump. The police car drives away before the cheetah walks around before facing the readers. Sonic laughs a bit as he, Steven, Tails, Chris and the animals watch the sun continue to set as today has been a wild day for everyone.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! Me and everyone else went to an old castle island to watch Chris' mother Lindsay record scenes for the movie she was gonna be in. During the middle of recording I suddenly felt an ambient of danger for some reason. I don't know what it is, but I decided to ignore it. But then it happened again! But this time it something to do with that stoned hourglass that was moved. What was that I was feeling then? Whatever it is, I've got a bad feeling about this! Anyway, the shooting of the scenes had to be cut short for the day because strange noises were heard. So we were about to settle in, but it's really creepy inside this castle. So as we were about to settle in for the night, Lindsey suddenly vanished! We searched everywhere, but couldn't find it. I suddenly then sensed strange phenomena out of nowhere. Could there be spirits that guard this castle then? I hope no, but when we went back inside the castle, we were suddenly greeted by ghosts! I don't think I can deal with this... but then how am I going to save all my friends? Grr! I have no choice but to fight back and save everyone! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Ghost of the Old Castle King Boom Boo" ("Sonic and Steven's Scream Test")" Steven says before he screams off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
