Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

Ghost of the Old Castle King Boom Boo (Sonic and Steven's Scream Test)

At a lake shore, there was a red and tanned castle on an island in the middle of the lake.

At the castle, it looked really old.

Inside the Castle, childish laughter was heard off screen through out the rooms, hallways, and it was louder from the underground hallways which were dark.

Outside of the castle, Sonic was letting out a big yawn while napping on the balcony. "We're okay over here" a man says off screen. "You were fantastic in that last take Lindsey..." another man says off screen.

At the bottom of the Castle at the gate, Lindsay was with the camera crew and director while she was in a green dress. "...But I'd like to give it one more go. Take it slower and let those tears go this time" The Director named DB says before turning to another actor named Roger while Lindsey looks in another direction. "And, Roger, please try to show some feeling this take?" DB asked while Lindsay waves to Chris, Steven, Amy and Tails who were next to the other camera crew members who were setting up the camera. "I think we should go with a 65 millimeter here" the cameraman says, "Huh?" Chris asked as he saw Lindsey before waving back. "Ella" Amy says off screen, getting Chris's attention. Chris, Tails, Amy and Steven look at Ella who was wearing a housekeeper's costume. "What happened to your hair?" Amy asked, "Did Mom get you a part in the movie?" Chris asked, "That's right. They needed someone to play an extremely young and beautiful housekeeper, so they typecast me. How do I look?" Ella asked, "You look wonderful, Ella" Steven says, "Aw, thank you, Steven" Ella says, "All right, let's go! Places, please" DB says before they started recording a scene. The first shoot was with Lindsey, Ella and Roger. "But, Ashley, what will I do without you!? You can't leave me now!" Lindsey says in character before Roger playing character walks away. "I need you, Ashley! Ashley, don't go!" Lindsey says in character before crying. "And cut! Print it!" DB says as the scene was perfect. "She sounds like she's really into that guy Ashley" Amy says, "The character must really love Ashley so much" Steven says before he, Amy and Chris laugh a bit while Chris blushes. Lindsey then walks up to them. "Was I good?" Lindsey asked, "Great" Chris says before Lindsey looks around. "Oh, I thought you we're bringing your friends. Where are they?" Lindsey asked, "We're right here" Tails says, "Hello" Steven says as he waved before Lindsey turns to them. "My, you look like a real fox and you look like a real Four-toed Hedgehog! It's amazing what the makeup department can do with a little hair and spikes in a pot of glue these days" Lindsey says, "Uhh..." Chris and Tails said at the same time while Steven was confused. "I look like a Four-toed Hedgehog?" Steven asked, "I guess so" Chris says, "Did you tell her about us yet?" Tails asked, "I tried, but Mom's clueless sometimes" Chris says while sweat-dropping a bit. "I'm sure she'll fully realize one day" Steven says, "Hey, I haven't seen Cream and Cheese. I wonder where they went?" Chris asked, "Don't ask me" Tails says as he shrugs his shoulders. "They're probably playing somewhere. They can't have wandered off too far" Steven says while he looked around. "Rewind that" The DB says off screen. "Huh?" Steven, Tails and Chris asked as they look to see the camera man rewinding the tape and see Cream and Cheese poking their heads out from the bushes during Lindsey's character's cry. "Hold it!" DB says and the clip pauses. "There, you see?" DB asked before Chris and Steven get a better look. Chris gasped and Steven chuckled a bit. "I guess we'll have Cream and Cheese as the special guest stars" Steven says, "I didn't call for animals in this shot" DB says off screen, "Don't worry, DB. We can erase it digitally in post" The camera man says, "Good idea. Let's print it. All right, let's move on to the next scene, people!" DB says before Chris sighs in relief.

Back inside the castle, Sonic was exploring the inside of the castle. "Mmm. Hmm" Sonic says as he looked around before walking.

At the next area, the camera crew were getting ready to film the next scene while Steven and the others were watching from steps of stairs with Ella holding Cream and Cheese. "We'll be out of camera range over here" Chris says, "And we'll get a good view of the recording too" Steven says, "Okay, rehearse it!" the Writer says before Lindsey in character runs with the camera pointing at her. "Please, Ashley! Don't leave me! Come back! What will I do!? Where shall I go!?" Lindsey asked while playing character until suddenly, a thud was heard, causing the camera to stop following Lindsey. "Oh! Huh?" the cameraman asked before he look to see he bumped the camera into an stoned hourglass that had the crescent moon and star facing upwards. "I didn't notice this thing before. What is it? Some kind of crazy sculpture?" the cameraman asked off screen while looking at the concrete stand with the stoned hourglass on it. The stoned hour glass had a label that said "Appears under the moon, Disappears under the sun" on it. "Guess I'll have to move it out of the way" the cameraman says as he was about to touch the stoned hourglass.

Back inside the castle, Sonic stopped walking as he felt an invisible purple paranoia around him.

Back outside, Steven sensed the paranoia too. "Huh? Who's there?" Steven asked before looking around. The cameraman decided to just move the camera. "On second thought, I'll move the camera" the cameraman says before he moves the camera back a bit. As the cameraman placed it back, Steven sensed the paranoia disappear. "What was that?" Steven asked himself in his head. Steven sighs before watching the behind the scenes.

Back inside the castle, the invisible purple paranoia disappeared on Sonic. Sonic gasped a bit before looking around. "I don't think this is part of the movie" Sonic says.

Back outside, the cameraman records the scene again with Lindsey in character running again. "Come back! What will I do!?" Lindsey in character asked as she runs before the cameraman stopped following her as the stoned hourglass was in the way of the recording. "Where should I go!?" Lindsey in character asked as she continued to run. "This thing's still in the way" the cameraman says before he removes the stoned hour glass off the stand. "There" The cameraman says. As he did that, Steven sensed the paranoia again while flinching. "What the?" Steven asked, "Steven?" Cream asked off screen, getting Steven's attention before he turns to Cream, Cheese, Ella, Amy, Chris and Tails. "Yes?" Steven asked, "Are you okay?" Chris asked, "Uh... Yeah. Yeah. I'm good" Steven says before turning away from the others while the others continue to watch the behind the scenes. Steven then rubs his arms. "What's going on here? Why do I feel scared all of a sudden?" Steven asked in his head.

Back inside the castle, Sonic felt the same invisible purple paranoia before disappear again and gasped. Sonic turns around to see the other end of the dark hallway.

Back outside, the cameraman sets the stoned hourglass on the grass as they began shooting the scene again. "Places everybody!" the Writer says, "Ready... And... Action!" DB says off screen.

Later at night, the crescent moon was out in the sky above the castle.

Back inside the castle, Lindsey was playing a scene while walking through the dark hallways with a candelabra. As she walked, there were silent noises.

At another part of the castle, the sound engineer hears the silent noises through his headphones. "Um, DB? There's a noise?" the sound engineer asked, "Cut!" DB says before they stopped recording while Steven looked around the area. "This place isn't really helping me relax" Steven says in his head

Back outside of the castle, Sonic went up to the window to see the rest of the castle outside with crickets chirping and an owl hooting off screen. "Hmm" Sonic says before leaving the window.

Back at the other part of the castle, Lindsey was taking a break by having tea with Chris and Ella with her. "Chris asked for my autograph, hmm?" Ella asked while the sound engineer was messing around with his set up. "Can't find anything wrong with the sound on my end" the sound engineer says before the writer goes up to him. "Are we good to go here?" the writer asked, "Yeah, let's try it again" the sound engineer says.

Back at the dark hallways, they were ready to film again with the crescent moon to be seen from a window. "All right, Lindsey. Take two. Action!" DB says off screen. Lindsey walks in the dark hallway with the candelabra lit up again before the silent noises were heard.

Back with the sound engineer, he hears the silent noises again. "Sorry, there's still noise" the sound engineer says, "Cut! That's a wrap! I hate working on location" DB says before he gets up from his chair. Steven looked around as he sensed strange pressences. "Now I'm sensing presences? What's going on here!?"Steven asked in his head.

In Lindsey's bedroom, she was cleaning up the makeup after she got changed into her regular clothing. Lindsey then hears a knock on the door before turning her head. The door revealed Chris. "I just came to say good night" Chris says, "You're such a considerate, young man" Lindsey says while walking up to Chris. "Yeah. Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow I guess" Chris says before Lindsey gives him a tight hug. "Chris! Sweet dreams, my darling son" Lindsey says, "You too, Mom. Good night" Chris says, "Off you go" Lindsey says, "We'll see you on the set in the morning, Mom" Chris says before he waves and leaves the room. "Until tomorrow, my love" Lindsey says as she waves.

Back at the same hallway where Lindsey was walking for the scene, the sound engineer was trying to find the source of the noises he heard during the recording by using a microphone sensor. "I can't sleep till I find that noise" the sound engineer says as he continues walking in the hallway.

With Steven, he was changed into his pajamas which were a t shirt, shorts, socks and slippers. Steven was in the bathroom washing his face out. After a few seconds, Steven turns the water off and looks at the mirror. Steven takes a few deep breaths. "Just calm down, Steven. Whatever it is, it's probably you're imagination..." Steven says before he sighs. Steven grabs a small towel and wipes his face while leaving the bathroom.

With Chris, he just entered his room while letting out a big yawn. "Huh?" Chris asked as he saw Tails reading a book on the blue bed. Chris then went up to Tails. "Where is everybody, Tails?" Chris asked, "The girls are having a sleepover in Ella's room and Steven's in the bathroom" Tails says as he looks at Chris before looking back at his book. "And Sonic?" Chris asked, "He's probably exploring around as usual" Tails says, "I sure hope Sonic doesn't get into any trouble. Huh?" Chris asked before he and Tails heard the room door open. The door revealed to be Steven entering. "Hey, Steven. Are you okay?" Chris asked as he walked up to Steven. "To be honest, I don't know, Chris. I keep getting paranoid when I'm around here. I don't know if it's just my imagination playing with me but I decided to wash my face out a bit" Steven says, "Did it help?" Chris asked, "I'm not sure. I hope so" Steven says, "Well maybe you just need to get your mind off of things. Here" Tails says before he grabbed a book. "Read this book. It'll help you keep you clear your mind for a while" Tails says, "Okay. Thanks, Tails" Steven says before he takes the book and jumps on the green bed. Steven lays down before opening the book and reading. "I just gotta do something to keep me relax. That's all..." Steven says in his head.

Back with Sonic, he was walking and looking around outside where the stoned hour glass was. An owl hoots off screen until Sonic noticed something. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he saw the stand that held the stoned hourglass before walking up to it. "Hmm" Sonic says before he spotted the stoned hourglass on the grass and picked it up. "Hmm" Sonic says as he examined it.

Back with the sound engineer, he continued walking until he found the source of the silent sound. "Woah, it's here" the sound engineer says he turns towards a stoned door. The sound engineer points the microphone at the stoned door and sounds of childish laughter were heard from the microphone and headphones. Then suddenly, four little ghosts named Boos appeared behind around the sound engineer while the sound engineer was too distracted to turn around. "Sounds like some kids are playing. Huh?" the sound engineer asked as he turns around to see nothing as the Boos disappeared. The sound engineer then looks back at the stoned door.

Back in Lindsey's room, while she was doing makeup, the Boo's laughter was heard. This got Lindsey's attention before turning her head. "Huh? Chris? Honey?" Lindsey asked as she looks at the room door behind her and ghostly laughter is heard a bit. Lindsey goes back to her makeup and thought it was nothing until the laughter became louder. This made Lindsey get annoyed before turning back towards the door. "All right, come out here" Lindsey says before standing up. "This little joke has gone far enough!" Lindsey says. The laughter stops and Lindsey looks around the whole room. Lindsey then got nervous as she didn't notice her reflection on the mirror was a bit strange "I thought I heard something. Perhaps it was just the wind" Lindsey says before her reflection on the mirror turns around sideways with a Boo's face. Lindsey then sits back down. "It's been such a long day. Ahh!" Lindsey says before she sees her reflection with a scary Boo face on the face of the reflection. "Well, hello there" the Boo says, making Lindsey scream.

Back with Sonic, he was looking at the stoned hourglass that showed a crescent moon and star symbol on one side. "The moon" Sonic says off screen before turning the stoned hour glass around to see the sun on the other side. "This side is the sun.I wonder what this thing is for?" Sonic asked.

Outside of the castle, the camera crew, the actors, Steven, Tails and Chris were shouting and calling for Lindsey. "Are you out there, Lindsey? Answer me! Are you all right?" DB asked, "Hey, Mom!" Chris says, "Mrs. Thorndyke! Mrs. Thorndyke, Where are you!?" Steven asked.

Back in the dark hallways, Ella, Amy, Cream and Cheese were walking in the hallways. "Are you here, Mrs. Thorndyke!?" Ella asked, "Chris's mom, where did you go!?" Amy asked, "We're all worried about you!" Cream says until Cheese got scared, causing Cream to get scared too. "Chao, chao! Chao, chao, chao!" Cheese says "Do you hear something, Cheese?" Cream asked before the Boo's laughter was heard off screen. This caused Amy, Cream and Cheese to huddle with Ella. "I don't like the sounds of this, Ella" Amy says. Ella then hears the Boo's laughter coming from the stoned wall. "It's coming from behind this wall. Excuse me? It's that you, Mrs. Thorndyke?" Ella asked before she knocks on the stoned door. Ella then gasps as she hears more Boo's laughing off screen. "I better go get some help!" Amy says as she was about to run, but suddenly a ghostly arm popped out from below the wall, blocking Amy's path. This caused Amy to get scared before Cream, Cheese and Ella turn to her. Cream and Cheese scream while the arm started to spread everywhere.

Back outside of the castle, Amy, Ella, Cream and Cheese scream off screen.

Back outside, Sonic heard the screams. "Sounds like Amy!" Sonic says as he looked at the castle.

Back inside the hallways, Steven, Tails and Chris were running in the hallway before making a right turn. Steven, Tails and Chris stopped and as they looked at something. "What?" Steven asked, "What's happening, Amy?" Chris asked as Amy was trying to pull Ella's arm out the wall while the ghostly arms were spreading everywhere with Boom's laughing off screen. "Help me save Ella!" Amy says before the ghostly arms retreated back in the wall. Steven, Tails, Amy and Chris tried to pull Ella's arm. "Where are Cream and Cheese!?" Steven asked while grunted and pulling. "They got pulled in and Ella tried to save them!" Amy says as she grunted. As Steven grunts and tried to use all his might to pull Ella out, veins started to appear around Steven's arms and his muscles bulged a little bit. After a few seconds, the ghostly arms pulls Ella's arm in, "No!" Steven says before he, Amy, Tails and Chris fall on the floor. "Something pulled them all right through the wall!" Amy says before Steven goes up to the wall. "Ella! Cream! Cheese! Can you guys hear me!? Are you all okay!?" Steven asked before he tried to get the stoned door open before Sonic ran up to them while holding the stoned hour glass. "What's going on?" Sonic asked, "We were looking for Chris's mom, and all of a sudden we were attacked by ghosts" Amy says, "I don't believe in ghosts" Sonic says as he turns towards the stoned door. Then suddenly, four Boo's pop their faces from the wall while laughing. Steven yelled and jumped back as he saw them. Steven then landed on the ground before moving back at a quick pace. "What the...Ghosts?" Steven asked before Sonic jumped and was about to kick them. "Why you" Sonic says before the Boos disappeared, causing Sonic to kick the stoned wall to reveal a a purple portal. "Whoa. What is that?" Chris asked before Sonic landed in front of him, Tails, Amy and Steven. "It looks like a portal" Steven says before more ghostly arms come out the portal, causing Amy, Chris and Tails to run except for Sonic and Steven. "That's it!" Steven says before standing up. "I'm not gonna let my fear get to me again! Let's do this!" Steven says before he into his Chinese Martial Arts fighting stance while Sonic jumps towards the ghostly arms. The ghostly arms then became phantom before Steven tried to attack them, but couldn't. "My punches and kicks can't hit them!" Steven says before Sonic shouts and he tried to attack the ghostly arms, but couldn't before landing on the floor. "Maybe there is such a thing as ghosts after all!" Sonic says until Tails screams while being grabbed by a ghostly rope that was being pulled towards the portal. "They grabbed Tails!" Amy and Chris said at the same time. This got Steven's attention before turning to where Tails was going. "Tails!" Steven says before he runs, jumps and grabbed Tails' hand with his right hand. Steven aimed his left wrist towards the wall and shot his wrist mounted grapple gun against the other side of the wall. The grappled dug against the wall and Steven tried to pull Tails out. "Hang on, Tails, I've got you!" Steven says as he tried to pull Tails out while Tails got scared. Then another pair of ghostly arms tried to get Steven to let go of Tails, but Steven kept his grip on Tails' hand while taking all grabbing. "Let them go!" Sonic says before more ghostly arms were about to grab Sonic while laughing off screen, but Sonic jumped out the way. Then suddenly, Sonic was grabbed from behind by a ghostly arm before one in the front grabbed him too. "Uggh. Uggh" Sonic says as he struggled to get loose before getting pulled towards the portal. "Sonic!" Chris and Amy said at the same time, getting Steven and Tails' attention. "Sonic!" Steven and Tails said at the same time as Sonic was about to get pulled in the portal, but Steven somehow got his other wrist that held the wire to the grapple hook to turn a bit before grabbing Sonic's hand. "Hold on, guys! I've got ya'll! now" Steven says before he tried to pull both Sonic and Tails out. As Steven continued to use all his might, his muscle's started to pump up a bit and show veins again. Tails saw this and gasped a bit. "Sonic, look!" Tails says, getting Sonic's attention as he saw Steven. "Steven, let go!" Sonic says, "No! I'm not giving up!" Steven says as he continued grunting and pulling. "Steven, you have to! You're putting too much force into your muscles. If you don't let go, your muscles are gonna pop and you're gonna get really hurt!" Sonic says, "I don't care! I'm not... Giving... Up!" Steven says before suddenly, his eyes flashed yellow a bit before turning back to normal blue. "Steven, listen! If you don't let go, you'll get swept in with everyone else and we won't have any other way to stop this! You and the others are gonna have to figure this all out without me!" Sonic says, "But, Sonic..." Steven says, "You're in charge of team until then, Steven!" Sonic says, causing Steven to gasped. "What!? But Sonic...!" Steven says, "Trust me, Steven, this is the only way we'll solve this!" Sonic says, "Please, Steven! You have to do this!" Tails says, "But will happen to you guys if I let go!?" Steven asked, "Don't worry about us! You and the others focus on figuring this out! I'll make sure everyone is okay until you save us!" Sonic says. Steven looked at Sonic and Tails worryingly before he felt his left wrist feel a bit loose. Steven turns around to see that the grapple hook was about to rip off from the other side of the wall. "Hurry, Steven! You don't have much time!" Sonic says, "Hurry! Let go!" Tails says before Steven hesitated a bit as he looked at Sonic, Tails, his muscles pumps and the grapple hook on the other side of the wall before making his decision. "Fine! I'm gonna let go! Sonic, we'll save you and everyone else! I promise!" Steven says, "Great!" Sonic says. Steven then hesitantly lets go of Sonic and Tails' hands before pulled himself towards the other side of the wall. Steven hits the ground before groaning. Tails then got pulled into the portal and Sonic was about to throw the stoned hour glass before getting pulled in. "Chris! Catch!" Sonic says as he throws the stoned hourglass towards Chris and Chris catches it. "Huh? What's this, Sonic?" Chris asked before the rocks from the broken part of the stoned wall started to crumble and repair itself back together. "I'm not sure but it fell off the pedestal outside, and I think it's got something to do with all this!" Sonic says while he grunts before he was pulled in the portal and the door sealed. "No! Sonic!" Amy says off screen before smashing her Piko piko hammer against the stoned wall. "Bring him back! You hear me!? Right now!" Amy says while Steven was slowly standing up. Steven then started walking towards Amy slowly. "Amy..." Steven says, "You can't!" Amy says in emphatically, "Amy.." Steven says before he puts his hand on Amy's shoulder. "Take!" Amy says in emphatically again, "Amy" Steven says as he tried to take to grab the Piko piko hammer. "My!" Amy says in emphatically once again. "Amy! Stop!" Steven says before he grabbed the Piko piko hammer and made Amy stop hitting it against the wall. "Sonic" Amy says as she gives up and cries on Steven. Steven gives Amy a friendly hug and rubs her back. "Shh... Everything's gonna be okay, guys. We'll figure this out together. I promise" Steven says before he looked at Chris a bit. Chris looked at the stone hourglass on his hands. "Sonic..." Amy says off screen as she continued to cry while Steven continued to comfort her.

The next morning at the castle, police sirens were heard off screen

At the castle entrance, the police arrived with the camera crew telling the cops what happened. "The entire staff searched for her all night, but we couldn't find her anywhere" DB says, "Just as I thought" a Cop says as he rubs his chin. ""Just as I thought?" Did something like this happen before?" The sound engineer asked, "Yes" the Cop says.

Back where the stand of the stoned hourglass was, Steven, Amy and Chris were walked up to it while Steven had his backpack on his back and Chris held onto the hourglass. "This is it right here" Steven says before he examines the stand. "This must be where Sonic found that thing, but I don't see what this has to do with those ghosts" Amy says, "Well someone must have removed it and it might possibly have caused a certain reaction for those Booms to appear" Steven says while he examined the circle where the stoned hourglass was before. "Booms?" Chris and Amy asked at the same time "That's what I'm calling them" Steven says, "Well, I'm not sure, but there's something written here" Chris says as he saw the label for the stoned hourglass. ""Appears under the moon, disappears under the sun". Wonder what that means" Chris says, "Hmm" Steven says while looking at the writing. Chris hears and Steven feels wind rustles coming from the bottom of the stone stand. Chris then puts his hand where the wind was coming from. "What, Chris?" Amy asked, "I feel a breeze from the base. There must be a hidden passageway underneath it" Chris says, "Alright, stand back. I'll try to get it open" Steven says before Amy and Chris back away a bit. Steven rubbed his hands and cracked his fingers while getting ready. Steven grabbed on the stand and tried to pull it. As Steven pulled, he grunted before trying to use all his might to pull it off. As Steven did this, Steven's muscles bulged a bit and his veins were becoming visible once again. Amy and Chris saw this and got concern. "Steven, stop. That's not gonna work. You're gonna hurt yourself" Chris says while Steven ignores Chris and continues pulling. "Steven, that's enough! We'll think of another way" Amy says. After a few seconds, Steven stops and lets go. Steven pants a bit while his muscles went back to normal and his veins disappeared. "I thought I had the strength..." Steven says before he sighs. Chris then pats Steven's shoulder. "It's okay, Steven. You did your best" Chris says. Amy then takes her Piko-piko hammer out and lets out a shout before hitting her Piko-piko hammer against the stand. This caused the stand to elevate sideways and to reveal a staircase leading underground. "Whoa!" Chris says off screen, "It's a staircase" Steven says off screen, "Huh" Amy says, "Those stairs definitely lead somewhere" Steven says, "You think we should go take a look?" Chris asked, "We may be able to rescue Sonic. Let's go" Amy says as she was about to down, but Chris grabbed Amy's arm, making her stop. This got Amy and Steven's attention. "Hold on! It could be dangerous down there" Chris says, "I know that" Amy says while looking to where Chris was grabbing her. "We've gotta try, Chris. It's up to us now" Steven says before Chris le's go of Amy's hand. "But... don't you think we should let the police check it out? I mean, we can have everyone search together..." Chris says before Amy humphs, closes her eyes and walks down the stairs. "But, Amy, we...!" Chris says, "I'm sorry, Chris, but the police will think we're crazy if we tell them there are ghosts. It's now or never and I want to do this now" Steven says. After a few seconds, Chris made his decision. "All right, Steven..." Chris says while Steven took his backpack off, opened it and digs through it. "Okay, good. Now you two stay close to me. It could be dark down there" Steven says before he takes out a flashlight. Steven and Chris then went down the stairs.

Underground, Steven was leading Amy and Chris down the stairs with his flashlight on. "I thought you were scared, Chris" Amy says, "Of course I'm scared, aren't you, Amy?" Chris asked, "No!" Amy says before turning towards Chris a bit. Then suddenly, a water drop hits Amy on the back. This made her stop and Chris stop walking and Amy screams while shaking in fright. This made Steven turn around and gasped. "What is it!?" Steven asked before he shines his light around the area. "It's okay. It was just a water drip" Chris says before Steven sighs in relief. "Alright. Listen, guys. I understand that we're a little nervous to be here, but as long as we stay and work and stick together, we should be fine" Steven says, "You're right, Steven. I'm sorry about that" Amy says, "We just have to watch out where we run into" Chris says, "Right. As well as be prepared for anything that happens. So let's just be cautious to where we step into, okay?" Steven asked and Amy and Chris nodded their heads. "Good. Let's keep going" Steven says before they continue to walk down. As they went down, Amy got a little nervous and tugged on Steven's arm. Steven noticed it before realizing and continued walking down.

At the portal, Sonic, Tails, Cream, Cheese, Ella and Lindsey were passed out while the Boos were laughing off screen. Behind them was a giant ghost with sharp teeth. The giant ghost's name is King Boom Boo: The King of Ghosts. King Boom Boo and the other Boos continue to laugh before the Boos put their scary faces on.

Back with Steven, Amy and Chris, they continue going down the steps. Amy was having a conversation with them while still tugging on Steven's arm and looking around. "I'm thinking of living on my own someday by renting a cheap apartment in Station Square" Amy says before the reached the end of the staircase. "And I don't care if it's small, But I want to open a diner called Amy's kitchen" Amy says, "Sounds good" Chris says, "I'd like to try the diner's best main courses then. I'm also thinking of living on my own someday too" Steven says, "Really? Where?" Amy asked, "At an Open Field near Station Square because the Open Field are really quiet and relaxing. I enjoy the calming environment as well as places to explore. So if I find an open field area to live in that's close where I can see Station Square, I'll be able to see what goes on from a window" Steven says, "That sounds like a great idea. Maybe one day I can come visit and see how it looks" Amy says, "Sure, no problem. Alright. Let's see here" Steven says before looking at the left and right hallways. "Remember, Chris, ghosts love it if they see you're scared. So if you run into one, stay calm" Amy says, "I'll pretend I don't even notice them" Chris says, "Hmm..." Steven says as he continues looking around. Then suddenly, ghostly laughter was heard again off screen, getting Steven, Amy and Chris' attentions. They look at a hallway to see four Boos flying towards them before putting their scary faces on. Amy screams as she and Chris watch them fly around. Steven jumped and tried to attack them, but couldn't. Steven then lands on the ground. "No matter what I do, I can't touch them!" Steven says before Amy takes the stoned hourglass from Chris and uses it as a shield before she and Chris close their eyes. The Boos stopped and saw the stoned hourglass nervously. Steven grabbed his flashlight and shined the light on the Boos. The Boos shield their eyes from the light before screaming and flying away. Amy gasped before she and Chris opened their eyes and Steven goes up to them. "You two okay?" Steven asked, "Huh? It seems like they're scared of that thing" Chris says, "They also don't like the sunlight" Steven says as he held his flashlight. "All right... Let's show these ghosts that we can spook them!" Amy says before she runs off. "Amy, wait!" Chris says as he runs after Amy. "Don't go too far!" Steven says as hr runs after Amy and Chris.

Amy, Chris and Steven then enter another room with a staircase. "Where'd the ghosts go?" Amy asked while they look around "They must be around here someplace" Chris says off screen, "They can go through walls. Maybe they already escaped" Amy says off screen, "I don't know. They could still be here and we can't see them..." Steven says off screen before Chris noticed something and pointed. "They heading down those stairs!" Chris says before he, Steven and Amy look to see the Boos laugh and fly through a closed door downstairs. One Boo looked back a bit before entering the closed door.

Back at the Portal, Sonic moans while waking up a bit. Sonic then stands up a bit. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he saw a Boo fly around before noticing something in front of him. Sonic saw the Boos with scary faces flying around King Boom Boo with King Boom Boo laughing as well.

Back with Steven, Amy and Chris, they were in front of the door the Booms entered through. "Are you ready, guys?" Chris asked, "Let's do it!" Amy says, "Okay" Steven says before he went up to the door handle and put his hand on it while getting his flashlight ready. "Amy, get ready" Steven asked before Amy held the stoned hourglass firmly. "Ready?" Steven asked and Chris and Amy nod their heads. "Alright. 1... 2... 3!" Steven says before he lifts the handle.

In the other room, the door creaks a bit. Amy held the stoned hour glass out first and Steven flashed his light a bit. After a few seconds, Steven opened the door a little bit more and he, Amy and Chris look around the room. "Is anybody here?" Amy asked before they fully enter the room a bit. "It looks like the ghosts led us to a dead end" Chris says off screen as there was a bright box space on the right. "Sonic must be here" Amy says off screen, "But there's nobody around. Where could they be keeping him?" Chris asked, "I don't know, but I sense something strange going on in this room" Steven says off screen, "Sonic! Huh. Sonic!" Amy says, "Amy! Steven! Chris! I'm up here!" Sonic says off screen, getting Steven, Amy and Chris' attention. Steven, Amy and Chris look up to see Sonic, Tails, Lindsey, and Ella from the Portal on the ceiling. "Sonic!" Steven, Amy and Chris said off screen, "There's not much time, so listen!" Sonic says, "I've always loved you, Amy" Sonic says with a ghostly voice mixed in with his. This made Amy look surprised while Chris and Steven were confused. "Huh? Well, I'm sure you know how I feel" Amy says as she closes her eyes. "You can free me if you put that stone into the space on the wall" Sonic says with the ghost's voice mixed in while Amy blushed. "Right, Sonic. I sure am glad we brought this thing along" Amy says before she looks around the room. "Something's definitely not right with Sonic right now" Steven says in his head before Amy spotted the bright box space. "That must be where it goes!" Amy says off screen before running up to it. "Amy!" Chris says, "Amy, wait!" Steven says before he and Chris follow her with Sonic watching. "I said don't put that thing over there, Amy! That's how the ghost get power" Sonic says with his normal voice. Amy then reached the bright box space. "Is this where it goes?" Amy asked, "Wonderful, Amy. Now place that stone in the space on the wall with the moon side facing upwards" Sonic says with the ghostly voice mixed in, "That can't be Sonic's voice"Steven says in his head while Amy looks at the sun side of the stoned hourglass. "What do you mean the moon side?" Amy asked before turning it around to show the crescent moon and the star on the other side. "Oh, I see!" Amy says, "I don't think this is a good idea" Chris says, "Chris' right. You shouldn't do this, Amy" Steven says, "It'll be fine. Sonic knows exactly what he's doing" Amy says as she was about to place the stoned hourglass on the space. "Amy..." Steven says, "No! Amy, don't!" Sonic says with his normal voice. "I love you, Amy" Sonic says with the ghostly voice mixed in, causing Amy to blush again while she placed the stoned hourglass on. "Oh, it was nothing. I'm just glad we're going to be back together again" Amy says. Then suddenly, the crescent moon and star light up a bright beacon. This got Steven, Amy and Chris' attention as they didn't notice a bright light forming on the ceiling behind them. The ceiling to brighter as it filled up the entire room. The light clears up to reveal King Boom Boo and four Boos as they laugh while King Boom Boo's smiled too. Amy and Chris backed against the wall while Steven looked shocked. "Who is that!?" Steven asked, "Where did he come from?" Amy asked, ""I love you, Amy"" King Boom Boo says with the same ghostly voice that was mixed with Sonic's normal voice before laughing with his regular tone. "I knew it!" Steven says while Amy got mad. "Hey, that was you pretending to be Sonic!" Amy says, "You guys don't have a chance against that thing. Don't even think about taking it on!" Sonic says, "But we have to try, Sonic!" Steven says. Amy shouts as she takes her Piko piko hammer out again. "HOW DARE YOU FOOL WITH A GIRL"S FEELINGS! I'M NOT LETTING SOME GHOUL MAKE A FOOL OUT OF ME! I'll never forgive you!" Amy says while charging at King Boom Boo. "Amy, don't!" Steven says as Amy was about to hit King Boom Boo, but King Boom Boo disappeared, making Amy almost lose her balance as she landed. Then suddenly, King Boom Boo grabs her from behind. "Whoa!" Amy says "Whoa!" Sonic and Chris said at the same time, "Amy!" Steven says, "No! Let me go!" Amy says as she tried to get out of King Boom Boo's grip. Then suddenly, a Boo flies through Amy's head and enters it. This caused Amy to pass out while a Boom and King Boom Boo smile. King Boom Boo sets Amy down on the ground before Steven and Chris go up to Amy. "Amy! Please, Amy, open your eyes for me!" Chris says, "Amy, wake up! Wake up! Are you alright!?" Steven asked. Then suddenly, Amy's eyes opened and her face was replaced by the scary Boo face on her face. Steven gasped before standing up. "Chris, get back!" Steven says before Chris went behind Steven. Amy that was now possessed floats with her head hanging while laughing. "Stop interfering with my plans, or you'll never leave this castle by the name of King Boom Boo!" Amy says with a ghostly voice mixed in with her normal voice. Steven and Chris then ran as possessed Amy started chasing them with her Piko piko hammer. "Amy!" Chris says before he dodges the hammer slams. "Whoa!" Steven says as he dodged the hammer slams before tripping a bit. King Boom Boo and the other Boos laugh at the whole thing. Chris suddenly trips and looks back at the possessed Amy. Possessed Amy stopped running and laughed. "Amy, please don't do it!" Chris says before the possessed Amy was about to hit Chris, but Steven ran and grabbed Chris. "Gotcha!" Steven says before dodging the hammer slam. King Boom Boo and the rest of the Boos continue to laugh. "Sonic! Help us!" Chris says as he and Steven continue running away from the possessed Amy while the possessed Amy laughed while holding the piko piko hammer. "I'll help you, but first you guys have to get me out of here!" Sonic says before Steven and Chris stop running and face the possessed Amy that stopped too. "Chris, stay close to me me!" Steven says as Chris got behind Steven. "Please...! Stop, Amy!" Chris says as he held his hand out. "Amy, wake up! Snap out of it! You're possessed! Don't make me do this!" Steven says as he got into his Chinese Martial Arts fight stance while the possessed Amy was about to swing her hammer towards them. Chris shielded himself and Steven was about to fight back. But suddenly, the possessed Amy noticed something which made her stop looking at Steven and Chris while having a nervous look. "Huh?" Steven asked in confusion as he kept his stance up while Chris shakes a bit and the possessed Amy mutters a bit. Steven turns his eyes a bit to see the stoned hourglass. "Wait a minute. If I remember correctly..." Steven says, "The symbols of the hourglass are the moon, the star and the sun. And that note on the stand said "Appears under the moon, Disappears under the sun"... So then..." Steven says in his head as he studies it before gasping a bit. "That's it! Chris, look" Steven says as he whispered. Chris opens his eyes to see what the possessed Amy and Steven were looking at. Chris turns around to see the stoned hourglass before realizing the same idea. "Now I get it" Chris says as he remembers the words Sonic said with the ghostly voice. "Wonderful, Amy, now place that stone in the space on the wall with the moon side facing upwards" Sonic says with the ghostly voice off screen in Chris' head. "The moon side upwards. What did it say on that pedestal again?" Chris asked in his head.

In Chris' memory, it shows the label on the stand. ""Appears under the moon, disappears under the sun"" Chris says off-screen.

Back to reality, Chris knows too. "Hey, that's it!" Chris says, "You know what to do, right?" Steven asked in whisper while still in his Chinese Martial Arts stance and looking at the possessed Amy. "Hmm" Chris says as he nodded. "Okay. Go for it while I keep Amy occupy" Steven says before Chris goes up to the stoned hourglass and place his hands on it. "The ghost show up when the moon's facing up..." Chris says before King Boom Boo and the Boos fly towards them. "Chris hurry!" Steven says as he saw them coming towards them. "And when the sun is up, they're in big trouble!" Chris says as he reverses the stoned hourglass. The sun symbol lights up and forms a lighted sun on the ceiling. This made King Boom Boo, the Booms and Chris scream with Chris and Steven shielding their eyes. The light clears and Sonic appears and flies past King Boom Boo and the other Boos, making them turn around in confusion. Sonic goes up to the possessed Amy and does a karate chop on her neck. The possessed Amy then closes her eyes with the Boo flying out of her mouth. Amy was about to fall before Sonic catches her. Amy then started to wake up a bit. "Amy, are you okay?" Sonic asked before Amy looked at him. "Oh, Sonic. Oh, Sonic!" Amy says before giving Sonic a tight hug. "Please, Amy we still have to stop the ghost attack!" Sonic says before Boos charge at them while laughing. "I'll show you!" Sonic says as he charges at the Booms. "Here we go!" Steven says as he also charged at the Boos too. Sonic karate chops, kicks and punches them while Steven uses his Chinese Martial Arts against them. The Boos get knocked out and fall on the floor. Sonic and Steven then land in front of King Boom Boo. "Bring it on!" Sonic says, "Let's go, King Boom Boo!" Steven says and King Boom Boo growls.

KING BOOM BOO - THE KING OF GHOSTS

Back in the room, King Boom Boo raised his hand and formed blue fire. King Boom Boo tosses them at Sonic and Steven while Sonic and Steven run and dodge them. King Boom Boo then stops and takes a deep breath. King Boom Boo then breaths out blue fire from his mouth towards Sonic and Steven. "Whoa! Now that's hot!" Steven says before he and Sonic run away from the blue fire. More Boom started flying while laughing before stopping with nervous looks on their faces. Amy had her piko piko hammer out while charging towards the Boos. "You spooks better split right away!" Amy says before Amy hits one Boo downwards. The other two Boos sweat drop nervously before getting smashed against the wall. Then suddenly, more Boos appear from behind her while laughing a bit before Amy turns towards them with a growl. The Boos got scared before smiling at each other. The Boos then fuse together to form Boom Boo. "You creeps can't creep me out anymore!" Amy says before she positions herself to do another swing. "IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE!" Amy says before she smashed Boom Boo. Sonic, Steven and King Boom Boo stare at each other before Boom Boo got sent flying pass them across the room. "Huh?" Sonic, Steven and King Boom Boo asked before the crash was heard and felt. Boom Boo's eyes rolls in dizziness and moans before Amy humphs while turning away. Chris was then waking Lindsey up by shaking her a bit. "Mom, wake up!" Chris says off screen before Lindsey moans and wakes up. Lindsey then see Ella, Chris and Tails in front of her. "Chris...?" Lindsey asked off screen before sitting up a bit. "How was I in that take!?" Lindsey asked while Cream and Cheese were there too and Tails laughs nervously. "This isn't a movie, Mom!" Chris says and before Steven goes to everyone else. "Tails, Cream, Cheese, Ella, are you guys okay?" Steven asked, "Yes, thank goodness we are" Ella says, "That was the scariest place I've ever seen" Cream says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "I hope something like this doesn't happen again" Tails says, "Yeah, me too" Chris says, "Chris! Steven!" Sonic says off screen, "Huh?" Chris, Lindsey, Ella, Cream, Cheese, Tails and Steven asked as they looked at Sonic. "Get going now!" Sonic says as he turns his head. "Here, Sonic!" Tails says as he throws a power ring to Sonic. "Thanks" Sonic says before he catches it. "Hmm" Sonic says and King Boom Boo chuckles as he gets ready. The power ring then glows in Sonic's hand. Lindsey, Ella, Amy, Cream, Cheese leave the room except for Steven, Tails and Chris. "Go on! I'll catch up with you guys later" Chris says before running back. Steven saw where Chris was going and knew what Chris was doing. "Of course!" Steven says before facing Tails. "Hurry with everyone else, Tails. I'll wait for Chris and Sonic" Steven says, "Okay, be careful!" Tails says before he leaves the room. The power ring continues to glow in Sonic's hand while Chris grabbed the stoned hourglass. Sonic then jumps and does his super spin attack towards King Boom Boo. "Huh?" King Boom Boo asked.

Outside of the room, Chris started running upstairs. "Go, Chris!" Steven says before facing towards the battle.

Back inside the room, Sonic charges and attacks King Boom Boo by the stomach, causing King Boom Boo to groan in pain. After a few seconds, King Boom Boo got pushed back which caused him to break through a wall while the debris falls on him with dust smoke flying around. "Nice!" Steven says, "See ya!" Sonic says while giving a wink and thumbs up before running out the room.

Back outside the room, Sonic ran up the stairs while Steven closed the door to the room shut. Steven faces away from the closed door and sighs. "What a hassle!" Steven says before running up the stairs.

At the staircase, everyone haven't gone all the way back up yet due to Lindsey walking slowly. "Let's go, Mom. We gotta hurry" Chris says, "If we're going to film an action scene, can't I have more comfortable shoes?" Lindsey asked, causing Chris to groan, "Sheesh" Amy says before she humphs while Tails looked annoyed, Cream and Cheese in confusion and Ella smiling. Sonic and Steven then appeared. "I thought you guys would be out of this place by now" Sonic says, "Did you stop the ghosts?" Chris asked, "They didn't stand a ghost of a chance" Sonic says, "For now, but we gotta hurry. That attack you did might not hold him down for much longer" Steven says before everyone looks at him in shock.

Back in the room, King Boom Boo got out of the debris and Looked angry while growling.

Back outside the rom, the closed door was then smashed into pieces with smoke flying around.

Back on the staircase, Sonic, Steven and everyone else heard the noises. "WHAT!?" Sonic asked before they all see King Boom Boo charge at them while chomping on the staircases. Sonic then picked Lindsey up and ran along with the others. "Okay, maybe I was wrong!" Sonic says with Chris and Steven running from behind. "Keep running!" Steven says. As Steven kept running, King Boom Boo got close to him and chomped his mouth towards him. "Whoa!" Steven says as he dodged and almost tripped a bit before going running faster.

Back outside the stoned hourglass stand, Ella, Tails, Cream, Cheese and Amy waited for for everyone else to come out next. Sonic and Lindsey then came out. "Hurry, Chris and Steven!" Sonic says off screen before Chris and Steven came out and trip on the ground. "Amy, Hurry!" Steven says. Amy then shouts. "YOU..." Amy says as she took her piko piko hammer out while positioning herself. Amy then smashed her piko piko hammer against the stand and the stand elevated back to its original position while King Boom Boo was almost about to come out. Chris screams as he places the stoned hourglass back to its original spot. As Chris did, it caused a bright light to appear underneath the stand. This caused Sonic, Steven, Lindsey, Amy, Ella, Cream, Cheese and Tails to shield their eyes. After a few seconds, the light fades away while Chris used his arm to block his eyes. "Amy, did I put the right side up?" Chris asked before Amy looked at the upper end of the stoned hourglass and it showed the crescent moon and star. "It's the moon side..." Amy says and Chris opens his eyes. "So I messed up" Chris says, "Yeah, big time" Sonic says as he gave Chris a thumbs up while Steven wipes his head. "Huh... that was pretty rough. Let's hope that King Boom Boo and the Boos don't cause anymore trouble" Steven says, "That was fun, but I didn't know this was a fantasy film" Lindsey says off screen, getting everyones attention. "Those special effects were incredibly realistic" Lindsey says before the cop, DB and cameraman came running towards them. "Oh, hey!" the cameraman and the cop says, "Lindsey!" DB says before all they went up to them. DB then places a hand on Lindsey's arm. "You really had us worried!" DB says, "Did something go wrong?" Lindsey asked, "Nobody ever got away from the ghosts down there before" the first cop says, "Who are they? Where did they all come from?" Chris asked as he pointed his arm to the left. "Well, my grandpa said that this place sits on an ancient burial ground when he first discovered it in the forest to look for some fabulous sighs with his friends... My grandpa also told me that about when the man who built the castle heard legends about ghosts, he laughed and said they were nonsense. Then the man disappeared the first night he stayed here. And nobody ever saw him again" the Cop says off screen before Boos from inside the castle laugh and disappear. Steven gulped and shuddered as he heard the whole story and looked at window where the Boos were laughing at. Steven also looked at the stand from behind as he hoped that he, Sonic and everyone else will never have to return to the castle island ever again.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! Me and everyone were taking a relaxing trip on a Yacht in the ocean. Everyone was trying to relax except for Sonic who was really sea sick and anxious from how slow the yacht was going. So to help us relax, Mr. Tanaka decided to invite elders from a retirement home to help us learn how to relax. But Sonic still wasn't pleased to be on the yacht, so he decided to make actions that he didn't think of the consequences that was gonna happen to him if he gets caught. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman has released a newly flying fortress called the "Egg Fort ll" and was ready to strike once again! Now with the way how Sonic's being punished and Dr. Eggman about to strike at us, it looks like this will be a difficult day for all of us to get through! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Departure! Egg Fort ll" ("Cruise Blues"). Let's all make the best of it!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
