Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog

Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

21. Episode 20

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

At the ocean, the sun was shining as the ocean was sparkling.

Underwater, the Eggfort was sitting underwater. "Dr. Eggman, the main engine had been repaired" Decoe says off screen. "Everything is in tip-top shape" Bocoe says off screen.

Inside the bridge of the Eggfort, Dr. Eggman was satisfied. "Splendid! Now, why does it always take you two slowbots two whole weeks!?" Dr. Eggman asked with a sad face. Decoe and Bocoe appeared to be angry. "Because THEY decided to do a Episode bythemselves!" Bocoe says, "Right! This Program is important to us..." Decoe says, "Yes, but it was mostly because Decoe is grumpy and wants to complain about everything" Bocoe says, "This is the third time I had to fix this hunk of junk...Ack..." Decoe says as Dr. Eggman threw a can at Decoe's head. "Ow, I mean... it is a pleasure to work on such a fine machine!" Decoe says, "Now, that's more like it" Dr. Eggman says before Bocoe wides his eyes. "You better watch what you say, big mouth!" Bocoe says before Decoe widens his eyes. "You don't think the doctor will throw me on the scraphead, do you...?" Decoe asked, "Now, let's get going! We've gotta catch up with those peskys Sonic and Steven!" Dr. Eggman says, "Aye-aye, sir!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time

At another part of the Eggfort, the engine was shown. "Now, fire up the main engine!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the engine of the Eggfort lights up and revs. "Well, so far so good. Now turn it up full blast" Dr. Eggman says off screen. "It is purring like a kitten, doctor" Decoe says off screen before the engine stops and the lights go out. "Huh? What happened...?" Decoe and Bocoe asked off screen.

Back at the bridge of the Eggfort, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw what happened. "The fire gave off" Bocoe says before he and Decoe turn towards Dr. Eggman. "We have a problem, Doctor. I am afraid the turbines are malfunctioning again" Decoe says, "I thought you said you fixed this contraption" Dr. Eggman says, "We did! At least I thought we did" Decoe says before he and Bocoe pressed a few buttons. "Perhaps we can still repair it" Decoe says, "Do not bet on it" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman turned his chair around. "I've had it with this brokendown bucket... Perhaps it's time to retire this OLD heap and introduce my NEWEST creation" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe and Bocoe stand up and listen closely. "SAY WHAT?" Decoe and Bocoe asked at the same time before Dr. Eggman turned his chair back a bit. "All right, I can't hold this off any longer" Dr. Eggman says.

Outside of the Eggfort underwater, Dr. Eggman continues off screen. "Have I got a surprise for you" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "What?" Decoe and Bocoe asked at the same time off screen.

Departure! Egg Fort ll (Cruise Blues)

At another part of the ocean, a Yacht was sailing. "We were all pretty worn out from searching for the Chaos Emeralds and battling Dr. Eggman. I had a long vacation from school coming up so…" Chris says off screen.

In Chris' memory, Nelson was seen. "I know just WHAT you need" Nelson says before he points a finger up.

Back to reality, Nelson continued off screen while the Yacht kept sailing. "Why not take grandpa and your friends on a cruise. I'm not using the yacht right now... You can take in some sun and maybe get a look at the glaciers" Nelson says off screen.

On the Yacht, Chris and Steven were tanning on lounge chairs with sunglasses on and in their swimming trunks. There was also a table next to them with tropical drinks sitting. "So that's just what we did. Nothing but relaxation and fun in the sun. We'll get to the..." Chris says off screen.

Back outside of the Yacht, Chris continues off screen. "...Glaciers in about four days" Chris says off screen. "Four days!?" Sonic asked off screen. "You mean we're only halfway there?" Tails asked off screen."These yachts sure do go slow, don't they?" Cream asked and Cheese chirped off screen. "I'm sure it's not too bad..." Steven says off screen. "Give me a break, will ya...!?" Sonic says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, Sonic was on his knees in front of Chris while Chris and Steven smiled at him nervously. "Come on, pal, I don't take to water!" Sonic says before shaking Chris. "Can't you see I'm getting seasick here!?" Sonic asked before Chris and Steven laugh a bit. "Sonic, there's nothing we can do about it now" Steven says as he tried to not chuckle or laugh. This caused Sonic to grab him into. "Steven, have I not been helping you on your Advance training lately!? Tell it to me straight! I'll take any punishment you'll give me! I'll do whatever you say! Please tell me!" Sonic says before he shakes Steven while Steven was holding his chuckle and laughter in. "Sonic, calm down..." Steven says before Sonic's eyes shake watery. "PLEASE I BEG YOU TWO! I"M GOING CRAZY!" Sonic says.

Back outside of the Yacht, Sonic's blur went all around the Yacht. "GET ME OFF THIS THING!" Sonic says off screen, "Are you sure it won't be too bad?" Chris asked off screen, "I may sometimes have my doubts" Steven says off screen before he and Chris chuckle off screen.

Later at night, the Yacht continued to sail with a full moon in the sky and it reflecting to the ocean. "Later that night..." Chris says off screen.

Inside the Yacht, Chris, Chuck, Steven, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were in the lounge with Amy holding Cheese. Chuck gasped a bit as he was a bit drunk. Steven and Chris also changed into spring clothing. "Well, that's a problem..." Chuck says, "Grandpa, are you really thinking this over?" Chris asked, "Of course! I'm just feeling a bit comfortable after drinking" Chuck says, "What!?" Chris, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese asked at the same time while Steven kept quiet. "Ack, I'm sorry" Chuck says before he waves a bit and laughs. Chuck then falls asleep and snores. "Grandpa sure is enjoying himself..." Amy says, "He's had too much to drink that he fell asleep" Steven says, "Hey, Chris, I know we're supposed to be relaxing and all, but what's there to do on this ship?" Tails asked, "There's lots of stuff to do... How about taking a swim?" Chris asked before Sonic ran pass them. Steven looked to where Sonic ran while Amy stands up while still holding Cheese. "I guess that's a no from Sonic" Steven says in his head. "Tails is just being rude! Don't pay any attention to him, Chris" Amy says, "That's right, don't forget, Tails, Chris' father let us use this yacht out of the goodness of his heart. We should be grateful" Cream says and Cheese chirps and Tails sinked on his chair a bit. "I-I am grateful!" Tails before Amy throws Cheese. Steven reacted fast and caught Cheese in his hands while Amy went up to Tails. "Well, Tails?" Amy asked, "Haha. Okay, I'm grateful" Tails says, "Tails will be okay. It's Sonic I'm worried about..." Chris says.

Outside on the Yacht, Sonic was looking at the ocean from the top deck. "I think he feels trapped I guess I'd go crazy too if I were him..." Chris says off screen.

Back inside the lounge of the Yacht, Sonic zooms pass everyone else again with everyone looking back at where Sonic ran. "He's running around the ship faster than his voice..." Amy says, "That's amazing" Cream says, "Then what's next? His hearing?" Steven asked, "Maybe because here he comes again" Cream says before Sonic ran pass them again. "I've seen Sonic go stir crazy before, but I've never seen anything as bad as this" Tails says before Sonic ran pass them again. "He can't even stay still for just 5 minutes" Steven says before Sonic ran pass them again. "Okay, it's time for a meeting" Amy says before she walks towards the line where Sonic ran. Sonic then stopped as Amy halted him. "Halt! Let's have a little talk, Sonic" Amy says, "What about?" Sonic asked, "About you" Amy says, "About me?" Sonic asked, "Yes. How old are you?" Amy asked, "15" Sonic says, "Then you should understand your situation you're in and the way you're acting right now! I've never seen such immature behavior! We're on this ship for 10 more days and 10 more nights! Get used to it! As the star that plays a main role of this TV Show and a hero to the world, your actions are what keeps Sonic X going!" Amy says off screen before Sonic gets nervous and Steven looked confused a bit. ""Sonic X"? What's Amy talking about...? Whatever this Sonic X is, I don't think Sonic can take any more of this. Poor guy..." Steven asked in his head while Sonic panics, holds his head and shakes his legs. "Be brave. And just remember..." Amy says before Sonic looks up and claps his hands together while having watery eyes. Sonic then looks down on the floor with his eyes closed. "Bravery is not the absence of fear, but the facing of it because the TV ratings and merchandise sales are all focused around you" Amy says, "Why does Amy keep talking like this is a TV show?" Steven asked in his head, "Are you aware of the number of people who rely on you? That's why you have to act like a hero! So you're stuck on a ship surrounded by water and can't run around for a week. That's no big deal. Nobody, wants to see their hero carrying on like a big crybaby. They want him to meet every challenge head-on. Remember that, Sonic" Amy says off screen as Steven, Chris, Tails and Cream looked surprised. "Think Amy's really getting through to him, Chris" Tails says and, "Yeah" Chris says as he nodded his head. "I honestly couldn't have said any part of that any better" Steven says before Sonic opened his eyes and stands up. "You're troubling everyone on this trip with your selfishness. So, go forth, hero, and keep your head held high" Amy says as Sonic walked away towards the other side of the room. Sonic then stopped and looked back at Amy a bit before curling himself into a ball. "Uhh" Sonic says, "Uh oh" Steven says, "He collapsed. I was too overwhelming! He's sulking now!" Amy says as she pointed at Sonic. "We got to do something. I think he's sick" Tails says, "Okay, I'll call Dad" Chris says, "I have to find a way to help Sonic..." Steven says in his head.

The next day at the chopper landing area, a cargo bob was coming in for landing with Sonic excited to leave. "Well, I'm off! It's been a real blast, but I gotta split! SEE YA!" Sonic says before giving a thumbs up as the cargo bob was about to land. Tails and Chris smiled nervously, Cream and Cheese looked sad, Amy looked mad and Steven shook his head while keeping a straight face from laughing or chuckling. "Hey! He isn't sick! He's a fake" Amy says, "It's okay... After all, why make him stay on the boat if he doesn't want to?" Chris asked, "He's really excited to go back on land" Steven says.

Inside the cargo-bob, the doors opened while Steven, Amy, Tails, Cream, Cheese and Chris looked surprised while Sonic continued waving. "Enjoy your vacay, kids! Catch you on the flip side, huh?" Sonic asked as he was about to go in, but stopped and yelped.

Outside of the cargo-bob, elderly people were walking out. "Well, what have we here...?" An elderly named Julia asked, "Oh, Sonic!" An elderly man says, "Isn't this something?" Julia asked, "It truly is wonderful to live for so long" another elderly man says before he, Julia and the other elders go around Sonic. "What's going on?" Tails asked, "There was an unannounced drop off maybe?" Steven asked before Mr. Tanaka goes up to them from behind and bows. "Good morning! Nice day!" Mr. Tanaka says, getting everyone's attention. "Tanaka!" Chris says before Mr. Tanaka stands up straight. "What are you doing here? Who are all these people?" Chris asked off screen, "These people are joining us from the Silver Star Home! It is Mr. Thorndyke's hope that you and your friends will learn from them. They will be your coaches, you see!" Mr. Tanaka says as Sonic was being touched all over by the Elders. "Coaches?" Chris asked off screen. "But, Mr. Tanaka, what will they coach us on?" Amy asked off screen. "On how to relax and taking it easy. You see, they have all worked hard for many years, and now the time has come for them to relax. They will teach you how to, as well..." Mr. Tanaka says, "Really? Then maybe they could also help Sonic relax too!" Steven says, "That's right, Steven" Mr. Tanaka says off screen before Chris puts his hands up. "No, thanks, Mr. Tanaka... I just want the helicopter to take Sonic home!" Chris says before Mr. Tanaka puts a serious face with his glasses shining a bit. "He will remain here!" Mr. Tanaka says, making everyone look surprised. "Even a great warrior needs his rest... Constant battles not only exhaust the body, but also the mind. The warrior must relax and be rejuvenated, so that when he goes to battle, he is mightier then before...! Hiya!" Mr. Tanaka says as he does a karate punch before closing his eyes. "It is the key. Isn't that right, Steven?" Mr. Tanaka asked while looking at Steven. "Yes, Mr. Tanaka" Steven says, "Hmm... Maybe I can learn something from these people to help me relax after my experiences with King Boom Boo and the Boos..." Steven says in his head off screen as he looked at the Elders. The cargo bob was then about to take off. Sonic saw this and panicked. "Hey! Where are you going!? What about me!?" Sonic asked before the cargo-bob flies away in the sky. Sonic then watches it go."NOOO... WAIT!" Sonic says before he got on his knees. "Come back!" Sonic says as he raised his hands up. Steven then went up to Sonic and puts a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Sonic. It might not be so bad after all. These people are willingly to help all of us. So it might help you learn to relax and not stress yourself. But don't worry, you'll be back on land before you know it" Steven says before Sonic moans and looks down on the floor, causing Steven to chuckle nervously before the screen changes effect. "And so, from that afternoon on, our new friends taught us all how to relax" Chris says off screen.

With Tails, he and Julia were sitting down and looking at the sky. "Just look at that, Tails... Isn't it wonderful? Sometimes life goes by so fast that we never take the time to appreciate the simple things, like a blue sky and fluffy white clouds..." Julia says off screen while Tails moans a bit. Tails then looked nervous and shakes a bit with a panic look.

With Cream and Cheese, they are with another elderly lady while sitting on a table and having ice cream and a drink while Tails lets out a scream off screen. "I see. You're from another world" the elder lady says, "Yes, we used to live in a place called Green Hill" Cream says, "Oh, I see. How cute" the elder lady says, "Thank you" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "So what's your name?" the elder asked, "My name is Cream" Cream says, "You have a delicious sounding name.I understand you and your friends are from another planet. My, it's so fascinating" the elder lady says, "Yeah, we've only been here for a little while, but we like it" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Everyone's been so nice to us since we got here" Cream says, "I'm glad, how lovely. So, you come from another planet, do you?" the elder lady asked, "Yes" Cream says before the screen changes effect again. "And so the lady asked Cream the same question over and over" Chris says off screen while Cream and the elder lady continue talking.

With Sonic, he was shouting and running before doing a powerful jump off the Yacht. "Sonic was so bored, he tried to jump ship all the way the shore, but he missed… 15 times" Chris says off screen before Sonic crashes into the water with a big splash.

At the bridge of the yacht, the Captain and Co-Captain watched with the Co-Captain looking through binoculars. "Not bad. He went about 9.5 kilometers away on that one" the Co-Captain says, "Hmm, little guy gets further every time" the Captain says.

With Amy, she saw the whole thing and got annoyed with an elder man sitting on a chair by her. "That Sonic can't relax for one second" Amy says before feeling down. "Oh, what's the use? I'll find somebody else to play shuffleboard with" Amy says before the elder man laughs. "Something tells me you got a thing for that little Sonic fellow" the elder man says, making Amy blush and go on the table. "What makes you say that, mister?" Amy asked and the elder man laughs again. "I can tell just by looking at you" the elder man says, "Is it that easy to see?" Amy asked as she turned her head a bit. "Why, sure. It's obvious. Then, again, Sonic probably has that effect on all the girls as he's with Grandma Linda right now" the elder man says, making Amy mad before she went close to the elder man's face. "What girls are you talking about?" Amy asked before the Elder man laughed again. "Calm down, sweetie. Don't worry, I'm sure there's other fish out in the sea" the elder man says, making Amy confused. "What do you mean?" Amy asked before she sat down on her hair. "I'm sure there's some else out there you might find interesting besides Sonic" the elder man says, "No way! My heart only belongs to Sonic and Sonic only!" Amy says before she stand up, crosses her arms and looks away. "Are you sure about that?" the elder man asked off screen, "Absolutely!" Amy says, "Well what about that Steven fellow?" the elder man asked off screen, causing Amy to look surprised before facing the elder man again. "Steven?" Amy asked, "Why, yes, him. Have you ever found anything interesting about that boy besides just Sonic?" the elder man asked while Amy sits back down on her chair. "Well, I mean, Steven is a nice boy. He's been helping Sonic the whole time we've been staying here. He's also really caring for me and my friends and does his best to make us feel better in anyway possible. He even saved us a few times along with Sonic and has been getting stronger everyday. It's like he..." Amy says, "Hmm? He's what?" the elder man asked, "He has the similarities I see in Sonic, except he's not Sonic" Amy says and the elder man laughs again. "Why, of course he's not Sonic. He's Steven. He's his own person. You may see the similarities in Steven that are like Sonic's in your eyes, but he can't be seen as someone else besides his own self. So listen carefully, maybe if you get to know Steven a little more, then I'm sure you'll find him as someone you'll be interested in in one day" the elder man says, "Hmm" Amy says before she taps her fingers on the table. "Me and Steven...?"Amy asked in her head.

With Steven, he was playing shuffleboard with another elder man and another elder woman as they were teaching Steven how to play. It was Steven's turn to play now as he got into position. "Now, approach the puck and adjust your stance" the elder man says before Steven did what he was told. "Now, focus on the direction you think is good for you and take your shot" the elder lady says before Steven did just that. "Okay. Approach Adjust Strategize =..." Steven says in his head before he hits the puck and as he hit it, the puck landed on the highest point score. "Perfection" Steven says and the elder man and elder woman clapped. "Well played, Steven. Very well play. You have really good focus, dear" the elder woman says, "Now that's what I call a perfect score, my boy" the elder man says bdvofd Steven approached them. "Thank you, but don't leave yourselves out. You two also played very well. So I declare this victory for a good game of ShuffleBoard to all of us!" Steven says as he raised his fist in the sky, this caused the elders to clap again. "Thank you, Steven. My, you are altruistic young man" the elder woman says, "Huh? What does altruistic mean?" Steven asked, "It's a synonym of selfless. It means you think of other people before yourself" the elder woman says, "Oh, I see. Yeah, I've been putting others first besides myself ever since I came to this world along with Sonic and his friends" Steven says, "Ah you're from another world I see. Tell us, what's it like in your world?" the elder man asked, "Well it's really similar to this world except the society is just animals. The only human I can think of that's in our world is none other than Dr. Eggman, other than that, it's just animals" Steven says, "My, that's quite an interesting world you live in. What did you do before you arrived here?" the elder woman asked, "Oh, well you see..." Steven says as he told his story to the elders back when before all this started. "Oh I am so sorry to hear that, Steven" the elder woman says, "It's okay. I'm no longer letting my past take affect me anymore. Ever since I've met Sonic and his friends as well as learning a lot on what this world has to offer, I'm focusing on the future and get stronger everyday to face the challenges this world or any world has to offer so that I can find my true potential" Steven says, "Steven, I personally think you've already unlocked your true potential" the elder woman says, "I have?" Steven asked, "Yes, you've unlocked something that not a lot of people have in this world. Chivalry" the elder woman says, "Chivalry?" Steven asked, "That's right, my boy. You have the combination of qualities expected of an ideal Knight. Courage, Honor, Courtesy, Justice, and a readiness to help the weak" the elder man says, "Ah, I see" Steven says, "It's not everyday you would find someone with all those qualities mixed in together in a person. It's really special coming from someone that's unique like yourself" the elder woman says before Steven chuckles a bit. "Yeah, I know, but I'm not the type to deserve all the fame and fortune. All of that goes to my friends and the people I care about first" Steven says, "That's what makes you a special person, Steven. Always thinking of others the most besides just yourself. With that kind of potential, I think you have a bright future ahead for when the time comes" the elder man says, "Yeah, I think so too" Steven says before he watched the ocean and the sky.

With Chris, he was playing chess with another elder man as the elder man was taking forever to make his move. Chris then laughs nervously while putting his left hand on his head. "Well? Have you decided your next move?" Chris asked, "Young man, it's dangerous to lose patience in any battle" the elder man says before Chris puts his hand down and looks at the elder man. "Haven't you experience something similar in your life?" the elderly man asked off screen before Chris thinks about it and looks down. "You're right. Not only do you get yourself in trouble, but you put other people in danger too" Chris says before standing up. "Mister" Chris says before the elderly man fell asleep while snoring. "Are you sleeping?!" Chris asked as he waved his hand in front of the elder man's face.

At the island that used to be where Dr. Eggman's Fortress was, the waves were crashing.

With Dr. Eggman, he laughs as he was in a bridge that looked similar to the Eggfort's. "It sure is a beauty, eh? Those dimwits thought they'd seen the end of me..." Dr. Eggman says.

At a secret hanger, there were three ships that were called Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang. "...But I've outsmarted them. I got a shiny new base hidden where nobody can see" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Inside BaBang, Decoe was in it while sitting down. "You have outdone yourself, Doctor. Very impressive" Decoe says.

Inside BaBaBang, Bocoe was in it while sitting down too. "You can say that again. What a shocker. I had no idea there was another supersecret base hidden down here" Bocoe says.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman laughs. "Of course you had no idea! If you had, it wouldn't have been a secret" Dr. Eggman says before he raises his two fingers together. "It's required of all evil geniuses to be smart as well as sneaking" Dr. Eggman says.

Back inside BaBang, Decoe watches Dr. Eggman laugh from the window. "Let's get started, doctor. I cannot wait to see the look on Sonic and Steven's face when they see the powerful new Decoe Bocoe XL Super Ultra-" Decoe says as he started BaBang's engine. "Just a minute!" Dr. Eggman says from the middle ship. "Huh?" Decoe asked as he turns his head to the right towards Dr. Eggman's ship while turning the engines off. "Hold your horses, you domeheaded donkey! Who gave you permission to name anything around here? I'm the boss! I'll do the naming!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back inside BaBaBang, Bocoe heard Dr. Eggman. "You mean you've already named the three components?" Bocoe asked, "But of course. There's..." Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back inside the secret hanger, Dr. Eggman continues off screen. "...Decoe, Bocoe, and best of all" Dr. Eggman says off screen as the middle ship was shined by a spotlights."...The Super Egg Final Star PX-00!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "I do not like those names!" Bocoe says while looking angry. "Neither do I! Why do our sections get boring names, and your section gets a big long fancy one with cool words like..." Decoe says while looking angry.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman turned left. "Super Egg Final something something something 00"!?" Decoe asked off screen before Dr. Eggman turns right. "What is the deal with that!? We should be able to name our own sections!" Bocoe says off screen before Dr. Eggman pulls out a manual. "Well, excuse me! I thought I was doing you a favor by naming them for you" Dr. Eggman says, "Well, maybe you should've asked us first" Decoe says off screen, "All right, all right! Don't get snippy. I've written some second and third choices in here" Dr. Eggman says.

Back inside the hanger, Dr. Eggman continues off screen. "What about Ace, Jack and King?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "Nope!" Decoe says off sceen, "I don't even play cards" Bocoe says off screen, "Then how about Stone, Scissors and Paper?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "You can't be serious" Decoe says off screen.

Back inside BaBang, Decoe listens to Dr. Eggman while sweat dropping. "Um, Receive, Toss and Attack!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "Dr. Eggman has no vocabulary" Decoe says, "We're not playing volleyball!" Bocoe says off screen, "Nozomi, Kanae and Tamae!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "That's old school" Bocoe says off screen, "Yoki, Koto and Kiku!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "No one will understand that" Bocoe says off screen, "Eenie, Meenie, Meinie!? X, Y, Z!? How does Egg, Egger, and Eggiest grab ya!? I think that could work!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, there was a bell that said "Nelson Thorndyke" on it. "As time went by, we learned more and more about relaxing and enjoying life from our new friends. Soon everyone was having a..." Chris says off screen as the bell was attached to a statue anchor with Sonic laying down on it. "...Good time. Everyone except Sonic, who still hasn't gotten used to the idea, so he started hatching an escape plan" Chris says off screen before Sonic turns to the readers. "And this is what happened" Chris says off screen before Sonic smirked. Sonic then runs off which causes the bell to ring.

Back with Tails, he was reading a book on a lounge chair with one of the elders before Sonic got his attention "Why would I be worried about the X-Tornado?" Tails asked as he was looking at Sonic who was also sitting on a lounge chair with his eyes closed. "You see? We've been on this boat for a couple of days, right?" Sonic asked, "Uh-huh" Tails says as he nodded before Sonic changes position. "Well, Tails, did you ever think that, just maybe, machines can get lonely just like humans?" Sonic asked before opening his left eye a bit. "I bet the X-Tornado's been awful lonesome since you went away" Sonic says before closing his eyes again. Tails then started to feel bad as he stands up and goes up to the side of the yacht. "Oh, no! I never even thought of that! I feel so guilty. How could I abandon you like that? Poor little X-Tornado!" Tails says while Sonic listened from behind. "I got 'em!" Sonic says before he makes a fist.

Back with Amy, her eyes were shining. "Do you really mean that, Sonic?" Amy asked as Sonic was close to Amy. "Well, sure I mean it, Amy. I think you're just about the cutest thing I've ever seen" Sonic says before circles appeared around Sonic with a blue background. "The way you swing that little hammer of yours around, my heart beats a million times a minute" Sonic says before everything changes back to normal. "I know, you could never care for somebody like me. I guess that's just the way it has to be" Sonic says before turning around. "Perhaps I could go on, if you would only swing that hammer once more" Sonic says before he covers his face. "You want it, you got it!" Amy says before she swings her hammer around like crazy with a fire aura around her.

Back with Steven, he was relaxing on a lounge chair with Sonic sitting on another lounge chair next to him. "I mean, I could be training and exercising right now, but at the same time, it's not always good to overwork yourself out a lot like Mr. Tanaka said. What made you think that, Sonic?" Steven asked, "Well I've noticed that you've been getting stronger and stronger everyday. I can tell because I can see a little bit of bulk and muscles becoming visible all over your body. You almost remind me of Knuckles a bit" Sonic says before Steven looked at himself. Steven's body was appearing a bit more muscular and strong then before all this started. Steven then looked at his arm and it was starting to appear muscular then before. "Yeah, you're right. I am getting stronger. I guess I'm making good progress on my Advance training then" Steven says, "That's right, buddy, and you can make a greater progress if you did some training now" Sonic says, "I know, but like I said, it's not good to overwork yourself out a lot" Steven says before Sonic started to sweat drop nervously. "But Steven, you haven't been training or exercising for the past two days" Sonic says, "I know, Sonic, but right now, I just want to use this time to enjoy myself and get mind away from everything" Steven says before he lays down and closes his eyes. "I've been trying to get over what happened back with King Boom Boo and now that these elders are helping me learn how to relax, it's really helping me not worry about anything right now" Steven says, "But think about how stronger you can get if you just trained now!" Sonic says. This made Steven sigh before opening his eyes and sitting up. "Sonic, I already told you, I'm fine right now. Why are you pressuring me all of a sudden ? Are you alright? Because you haven't been yourself for awhile now. Do you want me to help you learn how to relax now?" Steven asked off screen. Sonic then sighs before he stands up. "Its okay, Steven. Forget what I said. You can go back to relaxing" Sonic says before turning around and walking away. "Huh? Are you sure, Sonic? Because I can ask the elders to help you relax instead" Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven. I'll be just fine" Sonic says off screen, "Hmm" Steven says in confusion before going back to laying on the chair

Back in the lounge room, Chuck and Chris gasped. "What? Amy's gone berserk!?" Chris asked before he and Chuck look at Sonic who was on his knees, facing the floor and had his eyes closed. "Uhhuh. This boat's gonna drive everyone bananas sooner or later" Sonic says, "What do you think, Grandpa?" Chuck asked as he looked at Chuck while Sonic smiled a bit and his left ear perked up a bit. "Maybe we should ask the captain if we can turn the ship around" Chris asked and Chuck crosses his arms. "I don't know" Chuck says before Sonic's left ear perks up a little more while opening his left eye a bit. "I have a feeling something fishy's going on" Chuck says before Amy, Cream and Cheese enter the room. "Did he really, truly say that, Amy?" Cream asked, getting Chris and Chuck's attention before Amy, Cream and Cheese stopped walking. "It's the truth, Cream!" Amy says before she, Cream and Cheese went back to walking. "He said his little heart beat faster every time I swung my hammer" Amy says before Chris and Chuck look at Amy, Cream and Cheese with sweat drops while Sonic looked frustrated. "He's so dreamy" Amy says, "Wow, that's so sweet" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says before Chris and Chuck sweat drop more while Sonic started crawling away. "I have a feeling one day soon, Sonic's gonna ask me to be his girl..." Amy says, "Really?" Cream asked, "Chao!" Cheese says.

Back with Steven, he was still relaxing on the lounge chair. Steven then sighs. "Nothing can ruin this relaxing moment..." Steven says.

Back outside of the Yacht, there was a shake. "Sonic!" Chris says off screen.

Back on the Yacht with Steven, yelped as he felt the shake. Steven then fell off the lounge chair and on the floor. Steven groans before sitting up a bit. "Okay. Guess I spoke too soon on that one then..." Steven says before he sighs.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman was looking at a screen that had a Ghost Leg game with letters A, B, C, D and E while laughing. "This will be the end. That's enough" Dr. Eggman says before looking on the left as he held a pen. "Put your pen down" Dr. Eggman says before writing on the Ghost Leg game. "Maybe I'll just draw another line here" Dr. Eggman says as he whispered.

Back in the secret hanger, Dr. Eggman was heard. "Cheater!" Decoe says off screen. "This will decide the final names!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Okay!" Decoe says off screen, "I'm a man, so I will abide by the decision!" Bocoe says off screen.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman was about to start the Ghost Leg game. "Let's start the third "This is the last time we decide on the final wonderful name" Lottery!" Dr. Eggman says before writing on the Ghost Leg game again. "But let me just draw one more line" Dr. Eggman says, "Again?" Bocoe asked off screen, "Cheater!" Decoe says off screen before a button was revealed on Dr. Eggman's control station. "Start!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before he pressed the button. The Ghost Leg game began with a red blinker randomizing it self on the rows with Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe muttering. "Right there!" Decoe says off screen, "Stop!" Bocoe says off screen as he, Dr. Eggman and Decoe wait for the light to land on a line letter anxiously. After a few seconds, the red light landed on the C line and started to line towards the letter E. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe continue to mutter while the red line continued to connect with the other lines as it was getting close to a letter, causing them to mutter more. After a few seconds, the red line connected to the letter B. Decoe and Bocoe then cheered off screen. "It's decided!" Dr. Eggman says, "It's settled!" Decoe says, "I'm glad!" Bocoe says.

Back outside the island where Dr. Eggman's Fortress used to be, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe continue talking off screen while a beeping noise was heard. "Let's see, the name in B is" Dr. Eggman says off screen before he, Decoe and Bocoe scream, causing the whole island and ocean to shake.

At the Thorndyke Mansion, Bokkun was laughing off screen.

Inside the Thorndyke Mansion, Bokkun opens the front doors. "Hey! Long time, no see! Did you miss me!?" Bokkun asked as the Thorndyke Mansion looked deserted. "No big important message this time. Just dropping by to say hi! Hey..." Bokkun says.

In the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, no one was in the room. "...You guys. Where is everybody?" Bokkun asked off screen.

In the dining room of the Thorndyke Mansion, no one was in the room either. "Hey! It's just me! Come out!" Bokkun says off screen.

In a Japanese studio in the Thorndyke Mansion, no one was in the room as well. "Where are you all?" Bokkun asked off screen.

In Ella's room, no one was in the room once again. "Are you all over here?" Bokkun asked off screen.

Back at the foyer of the Thorndyke Mansion, Bokkun continues waiting. "Hello? Anybody? Hello?" Bokkun asked before his eyes watered a bit. "Guess there's… nobody… home" Bokkun says before he cries a bit. Then suddenly, the doors from the entrance opening was heard. "Huh?" Bokkun asked before he turns around to see Ella with groceries in her hands. "Well, look who we have here. Our little flying robot friend. You've come to start trouble today?" Ella asked before Bokkun looked like he was gonna cry again with circles around in a blue background. "Well, too bad for you, 'cause nobody here now, so you can just scram! You hear me?" Ella asked and laughed off screen. Bokkun's tears started to form before crying. Bokkun then hugs Ella, getting Ella's attention. "What's the matter now?" Ella asked, "I'm so lonesome! Nobody's home! I just wanted somebody to play with!" Bokkun says while crying before Ella puts her groceries down and pats Bokkun's head. "It's all right. There, there. Now, don't cry, sweetheart" Ella says, "I'm so lonely" Bokkun says, "Don't be lonely. Ella's here now. You stay here. I'll make you a nice lunch, okay? Don't you worry now" Ella says off screen, "Ella, I'm sorry" Bokkun says.

Back outside the Thorndyke Mansion, Ella and Bokkun talk off screen. "It's okay, sweetie" Ella says off screen, "For all those times I was bad. Will you forgive me...?" Bokkun asked off screen, "Of course" Ella says off screen, "This is for you" Bokkun says off screen, "For me?" Ella asked off screen before there was an explosion, causing the Thorndyke Mansion to shake a bit. "Oh my!" Ella says before she screams and Bokkun flies away while laughing with a smoke trail behind him.

Back at the Yacht, the Yacht was passing by the glaciers.

Back on the Yacht, Tails and Chris were watching from the side. "Hey, look, Tails!" Chris says, "An iceberg! We're near the glaciers" Tails says before Chuck and Steven walk by with Chuck holding a jacket and him and Steven were also wearing jackets. "Whoa! This is so cool...!" Steven says and chuckles as he goes between Tails and Chris. "Put this on" Chuck says before he puts the jacket on Chris. "It's a bit chilly out here" Chuck says, "Hey, thanks, Grandpa" Chris says before he, Chuck, Steven and Tails get nervous. "Guess Amy's still pretty upset with Sonic, huh?" Chris asked, "Yes, well, it wasn't very nice of him to lie to her like that" Chuck says, "I can't believe Sonic would do that to Amy" Steven says, "But Amy can't stay mad forever" Tails says, "Sonic" Amy says off screen, getting Steven, Tails, Chris and Chuck's attention. Amy was seen holding her piko piko hammer with an evil look on her face. "Come on, you can't stay up there all day! Don't you want to see all the wonderful things I can do with this hammer!?" Amy asked while Sonic was on top of a pole. "It's pretty amazing, Sonic, but you've gotta see it up real close, got it!?" Amy asked off screen, "Uh, no, thanks! I'll just stay up here, catch some rays! Maybe another time!" Sonic says before Amy jumps up to the level where the pole was standing on. "All right, that's it! You come down off that pole this instant!" Amy says before she started hitting her Piko piko hammer against the pole, causing Sonic to yell off screen and the area to shake. Cream and Cheese saw this and Cream held on to Cheese closely while sweat dropping. "Oh, I don't like it when Amy gets mad" Cream says and Cheese mutters. Steven then goes up to Cream and Cheese "Me neither. Let's give her some space to cool down" Steven says, "Okay, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps before Steven brings Cream and Cheese towards Chuck, Chris and Tails. "I get the feeling we ought to stay out of this" Chuck says as he, Tails, Chris, Cream, Cheese and Steven huddle while sweat dropping as they felt the shake too. "I agree" Chris says, "Oh!" Tails says as he noticed something.

Outside of the Yacht, a whale pops out a bit and blows water out.

Back on the Yacht, Steven, Cream, Cheese, Chris, Chuck and Tails saw it. "Look at that!" Chris says, "Wow" Chuck says, "It's a whale" Tails says, "Whoa" Steven and Cream said at the same time while Cheese chirps. There was another splash heard and they all look to their right "Another one" Tails says.

Back outside of the Yacht, the splash came from Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang as they were slowly rising from the water. "Wow, look how big it is!" Chris says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, Steven glared at Dr. Eggman's ship, BaBang and BaBaBang while everyone else was confused. "That's not a whale" Chuck says, "I guess not" Chris says, "If not, what is it?" Tails asked, "It looks like a flying boat" Cream says, "Chao, chao" Cheese says, "That's Dr. Eggman" Steven says before everyone gasped.

Back outside the Yacht, Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang fully floated out the water while being wet. "Thought you could take a pleasure cruise without me, eh? Well, think again!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman lets out a shout. "Inexcusable!" Dr. Eggman says, "Let's go get them!" Decoe says as his spotlight of the screen squeezed Dr. Eggman's left face a bit. "We can beat that overgrown tugboat any day!" Bocoe says as his spotlight on the screen also squeezed Dr. Eggman's right face a bit.

Back on the Yacht, Sonic was laying on the ground. "Haha. I was wondering how long it would take before you bozos showed up" Sonic says while Amy was sitting on top of him while holding her Piko piko hammer. "You two boys starting to rust yet?" Sonic asked.

Back inside Bang, Decoe and Bocoe heard Sonic while still having their spotlights squeeze Dr. Eggman's face. "We are incapable of corrosion" Bocoe says, "You and Steven on the other hand, are rotten little hedgehogs!" Decoe says before their spotlights were pushed away by Dr. Eggman while Dr. Eggman shouts. "Stop all this yammering at once! You two tinheads are forgetting who's in charge here!" Dr. Eggman says as he looks in the left and right.

Outside of the Yacht, Dr. Eggman's ship, BaBang and BaBaBang, the conversation continues off screen. "I hope you've enjoyed yourselves, Sonic and Steven, because your happy little holidays are about to end!" Dr. Eggman says off screen with a yellow noise icon. "That's what you think, but it won't happen!" Steven says off screen with a yellow noise icon. "Oh, yeah, I'd say the fun's about to start!" Sonic says off screen with a yellow noise icon. "Don't be so sure, warthogs" Dr. Eggman says off screen with a yellow noise icon again.

Back at the bridge of the Yacht, the Co Captain saw an iceberg ahead. "Captain, there's an iceberg ahead, sir!" the Co Captain says off screen, "Reverse full throttle! Stop before we hit the iceberg!" The Captain says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, Steven, Chris, Tails, Cream and Cheese felt the Yacht stop while Dr. Eggman's ship, BaBang and BaBaBang were getting closer to the Yacht. "Huh? The yacht stopped moving" Steven says before he, Chris and Tails turn around. "Hey, why did you stop the ship?" Chris asked, "What's going on here?" Chuck asked as he turned around. "It's the glacier, Mr. Thorndyke! Sure is a beauty, isn't it, sir!?" the Captain asked off screen This causing Chuck to look angry and for Steven, Chris and Tails to look shock. "We can stay here long as you like!" the Captain says off screen. This caused Chuck, Steven, Chris and Tails do an anime fall in disbelief while groaning.

Back outside of the Yacht, Dr. Eggman's ship, BaBang and BaBaBang, they were in front of a huge iceberg with glaciers around. "Are you crazy!? This is no time to look at a glacier!" Chris says off screen with a yellow noise icon. "How did they not spot them from their radar!?" Steven asked off screen with a yellow noise icon.

Back on the Yacht, Sonic jumps off while grunts and laughs.

Back outside of the Yacht, Sonic lands on an iceberg. "Okay, if you want a fight, you've got a fight! Bring it on, Egghead" Sonic says.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman heard Sonic. "All in good time, my friend! First let's mix things up a bit, shall we!?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Back outside of Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang, something was about to happen. "Perhaps you seafaring simpletons would like to see what my new Egg Fort ll can do!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before laughing. "Get ready to be blown away..." Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back inside Bang, Dr. Eggman was ready. "All right, Egg Fort ll, combine!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang, they were getting in position. "Bang...!" Dr. Eggman says off screen. "BaBang…!" Decoe says off screen. "BaBaBang!" Bocoe says off screen.

Far away from Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang, there was an red arrow pointing downwards where Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang were. "Scram combine Egg Fort ll!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time as all three ships combine together.

Back to where Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang were, all three ships combined into a big ship called the Eggfort II. "Eggfort 2 complete" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time off screen.

Inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman laughs. "Impressive, eh?" Dr. Eggman asked before a phone rings and Dr. Eggman answers it. "Hello? What? We're too small?" Dr. Eggman asked before another phone rings and answers it. "You can't see it, so recombine again?" Dr. Eggman asked before hanging up the phones. "Then WATCH IT WITH A BIGGER TV!" Dr. Eggman says to the readers.

Back outside of the Yacht and the Eggfort II, Sonic ran on the iceberg. "Come on, try and catch me! What are you waiting for!?" Sonic asked as he didn't notice he was running in place on the ice while running. "Oh, Sonic!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "Yeah, what!?" Sonic asked, "You're going nowhere fast" Dr. Eggman says off screen before Sonic saw himself running in place. Sonic then stops and freaks out. "Huh? Oh, no!" Sonic says before the Eggfort II shot a laser at the iceberg. This caused Sonic and the ice to get blasted with Sonic screaming and flying.

Back on the Yacht, Steven and Chris saw what happened. "Sonic!" Steven says, "Ah! Watch out!" Chris says.

Back outside of the Yacht and Eggfort II, the Eggfort II keeps firing lasers at the icebergs, making Sonic get tossed everywhere while screaming. Dr. Eggman then laughs off screen. "This is as much fun should be illegal!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, Amy and Tails also watched. "Be careful!" Chris and Tails said at the same time, "Don't worry! We'll get help!" Amy says, "I'll help him!" Steven says before he was about to jump off the Yacht. Julia then laughed from the speakers off screen. "Oh, poor little thing" Julia says from the speaker off screen, getting Amy, Tails and Chris' attention as they turn to the left. Steven stopped himself from jumping and turned to the speaker as well. "You're having a tough time" Julia says from the speaker off screen.

Back at the bridge, the Co Captain and Captain were watching Julia talk on the radio. "I may be an old-timer, but I just might be able to help you out" Julia says.

Back outside of the Yacht and the Eggfort II, the Eggfort II continued to fire towards Sonic with ice breaking everywhere. "Now, Sonic, I want you to breathe deeply and relax" Julia says off screen while Sonic was flying in the air with his eyes closed. Sonic then flew downwards. "Focus on your goal, relax, stay in the moment, and feel the ice with your feet" Julia says off screen before Sonic grunted a bit while opening his left eye a bit. "She's right, Sonic! Just Relax and stay calm! Approach the ice, Adjust your stance and Strategize your plan!" Steven says off screen before Sonic looked to see a landing coming. Sonic lands on a iceberg while sliding a bit. Sonic then adjustes himself a bit. "Not bad. Now, if I only keep my feet from slipping, this ought to be a piece of cake" Sonic says.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw what happened. "Something's the matter. Why isn't he frightened?" Decoe asked, "I don't like it. A moment ago we had him on the run" Bocoe says, "He certainly is cool all of a sudden, isn't he!?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Back outside the Eggfort II, the Eggfort II was was gonna strike again. "Enough of this! Let's put the freeze on that hedgehog!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as the Eggfort 2 faces the Yacht. "Captain!" the Co Captain says off screen with a yellow noise icon. Then suddenly, Bokkun was flying and screaming. Bokkun then landed on the glass window of the bridge of the Eggfort II and cried. "What are you doing here?" Dr. Eggman asked, "He looks upset" Decoe says, "Please, let me in!" Bokkun says, "Why should we let you in?" Bocoe asked.

Back on the Yacht, a twinkle was seen in the sky. This got Steven, Amy, Tails, Chris and Chuck's attention as they look up.

The twinkle revealed to be the X-Tornado. "It's the X-Tornado!" Chris says off screen, "But who's flying it?" Tails asked off screen.

Inside the X-Tornado, it revealed that Ella was flying the X-Tornado. Ella looked really angry while having smoke dirt all over her. "I'll get you, you brat!" Ella says.

Back on the Yacht, everyone looks on the right. "It's Ella!" Chris says, "But how?" Amy asked, "How'd she learn to fly the X-Tornado?" Tails asked while Chuck puts a hand behind his head. "Ella can do anything she puts her mind to... except windows" Chuck says before Chris groans. "Well for whatever reason, she looks really mad right now" Steven says as he gulped a bit.

Back outside the Eggfort II, Bokkun saw the X-Tornado getting close and screams. "Help me!" Bokkun says, "What are you bawling about, Bokkun!?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Ella turned a joy stick around a bit. "Now we change to X-Cyclone!" Ella says.

Back outside the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado begins to transform. "Transform!" Ella says off screen before the X-Tornado transforms into X-Cyclone. "I'll keep a mental note that whatever happens, don't make a girl mad" Steven says off screen.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Ella was ready to attack. "You'll see who's boss now! Cyclone...!" Ella says.

Back outside the X-Cyclone, the X-Cyclone gets in a kick position. "...Kick!" Ella says off screen.

Back outside the Eggfort II, Bokkun screams and runs above the Eggfort II. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe then scream. "Why us?" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe asked before the X-Cyclone kicks the Eggfort II, making a huge dent on it. "Oh no! Not again!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said off screen before the Eggfort 2 goes in the sky with a twinkle in the end.

Back with Sonic, he looked down at the iceberg with a smile on his face. "So often we rushed through our lives from day to day, not seeing what is really important" Julia says off screen.

Back on the Yacht, Amy and Chris were lounging with an elder man that spoke with Amy and an elder woman. Chuck and Ella were chatting with a few elders sitting underneath an umbrella table. Cream and Cheese were helping the elder man that Chris spoke to from before sit on the lounge chair. The X-Cyclone was also parked outside on the deck. "Just think of it the smell of the ocean, the rustling of leaves, moments with family and friends" Julia says off screen. Sonic was relaxing underneath the shade of the X-Cyclone. "Sometimes just to sit and feel the warmth of the sun on our faces…" Julia says off screen, "Sonic!" Tails says, "Hmm?" Sonic asked before he looked up a bit to see Tails and Steven on the X-Cyclone. "Are you ready to go?" Steven asked, "The X-Tornado's all set to go! You still wanna go back to town?" Tails asked, "Ah, what's the rush!" Sonic says as he winks.

Back outside of the Yacht, it kept sailing in the ocean. "Come on down here, guys!" Sonic says off screen. "Huh?" Tails asked off screen. "I changed my mind. I think I'll take it easy. Just enjoy myself for a while" Sonic says and chuckles off screen. "Well I'm glad you're relaxing and taking it easy now, Sonic" Steven says off screen. "Thanks, Steven" Sonic says off screen. "I think you made the right decision, Sonic. Remember, there's always enough time to while away the hours and just be happy. Now, let's all relax and enjoy ourselves" Julia says off screen before everyone went through the rest of the day with relaxation.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! As we were all still sleeping, Sam suddenly showed up at the Thorndyke Mansion to challenge Sonic to a road race with his new rocket-car! It appears that Station Square including the President is looking forward to this showdown, but Sonic refused to and this disappointed Sam so much. Meanwhile, Jerome decided to call up Dr. Eggman to force Sonic to race, but things didn't go as planned when I came to save Sonic. After what Sonic saw what I did, he chose me to race instead of him! This was a shocker to begin with, but since I've seen myself getting stronger, I want to see myself get faster too. So after we told Sam about it, he agreed for me to race him. So now it was time for showdown race to commence! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Speed Match! Steven vs. Sam" ("Fast Friends"). Let's get fast!"
