At a area in a Japanese City, Mr. Tanaka was praying in front of a samurai solider and horse statue. "You're homeland, Mr. Tanaka?" Frances asked off screen before Mr. Tanaka opened his eyes.

At the train station of the Japanese City, Chris was on a Summer Vacation Field field trip with Danny, Frances, Helen, Mr. Stewart, Steven, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese while Sonic was out exploring the area. Before they arrived, Steven convinced Helen's mother and Doug if he could bring Helen along with him on this trip with Chris and his friends. They agreed as long as Steven promises to not put Helen in danger. Steven promised and now Helen can enjoy her Summer Vacation with her friends. Steven was dressed in summer themed clothing. Chris was then looking at the map. "Uh-huh. Now let's see. It says the town's located deep in the mountains. I guess we'll have to transfer here. It should take another hour" Chris says before Amy turns to Chris. "What? How far do we have to go?" Amy asked before Mr. Stewart walks away from everyone. Danny then bents down towards Amy. "It's not that far, Amy. Why not think of this as just part of the adventure?" Danny asked before Amy sighs and closes her eyes. "Camping is not my idea of an adventure" Amy says before Frances pats Amy on the shoulders. "Oh, we're gonna have lots of fun. I promise" Frances says, "All right, if you say so" Amy says, "I do" Frances says before she and Amy laugh a bit. "Hey, Chris. So, you know a good place to set up camp when we get there?" Tails asked before Chris pointed at a direction. "I hear there's a great place right near a river north of here. It's nice and peaceful, and it's good for fishing too" Chris says, "Hey, that sounds like a perfect spot" Cream says before she turns to Cheese. "And maybe you and I can go for a swim, Cheese. Sound fun?" Cream asked, "Chao!" Cheese says, "Well I'm looking forward to this too. I miss being out in an open field peaceful environment" Steven says, "You do, Steven?" Danny asked, "Yeah. It reminds me of where I grew up where it was peaceful and quiet. I'm also curious about this town because I don't think I've visited it yet. It seems interesting for some reason" Steven says off screen, "I'm sure it will be really interesting, Steven" Frances says, "Yeah me too" Steven says, "Hey. Maybe we'll find flowers around here like we did on our adventure, Steven" Helen says, "Maybe we will, Helen" Steven says. Mr. Stewart was then looking at the Japanese bus schedule on a pole. "Ah, bus service to Hot Springs Village. -Huh. Hmm" Mr. Stewart says while looking around before he hums and clicks on his watch. "Huh?" Steven asked as he noticed Mr. Stewart. "I'll be back, guys" Steven says before walking away from everyone else. Mr. Stewart then faced his watch up close. "This is Stewart. Do you read me? Listen carefully. The bus to Hot Springs Village leaves every hour, on the hour, from bus stop number three. Have you got that!? Over" Mr. Stewart says, "A little over protective by calling the Intelligence Agency about this, huh?" Steven asked off screen, "Huh?" Mr. Stewart asked before he looks down to see Steven. Mr. Stewart then gasped. "Did-Did you hear all of that!?" Mr. Stewart, "Uh huh. Remember, we're both working for the Government. I already know what you're doing" Steven says, "Please don't tell anyone about this! I'm just doing my mission that I was tasked to do!" Mr. Stewart says, "Don't worry, I won't. But please take it easy and relax. It's not that serious. Besides if anything happens, you have me and Sonic to help out. So just calm down and have a good time, okay?" Steven asked, "Well, alright then" Mr. Stewart says, "Thanks. So when's the next bus coming to Hot Springs Village?" Steven asked, "It should be arriving soon" Mr. Stewart says, "Okay, then. I'll let everyone else know" Steven says before he walks away from Mr. Stewart. A few minutes later, Mr. Stewart was waving a yellow flag while standing at a bus stop. "All right, students, line up! The bus'll be here any minute now" Mr. Stewart says before he blows on his whistle with everyone looking at him. "Mr. Stewart sure is excited" Danny says, "I'll say" Chris says. Tails then turns to Frances "Hey, Frances, how come Mr. Stewart is coming? Wouldn't this trip be a lot more fun if it was just us kids?" Tails asked, "Don't know. Maybe he wants to have some fun too" Frances says, "Well someone like an adult or an older person has to supervise a group to make sure nothing happens. I guess he volunteered, but even if Mr. Stewart didn't come with us, I would have been your supervisor" Steven says, "You'd make a great supervisor, Steven" Helen says and Steven chuckles a bit. "You think so?" Steven asked before Amy sweat drops a bit. "All I can say is this whole camping thing better be fun, or they're gonna hear it from me" Amy says.

At a monorail, everyone was riding in it as it drove on the tracks. "Where's Sonic anyway?" Chris asked off screen. "Sonic's not much for camping. He says he's gonna explore the city. He's on his way there now" Tails says off screen. "I asked him if he could buy me some souvenirs with some cash I gave him and he said yes. I wonder what this place has to offer?" Steven asked off screen before Sonic runs past the monorail with fire from behind him. Sonic then lands on the grass. "There!" Sonic says before he runs in a path.

Summer Vacation, a Chao Observation Diary (Little Chao Lost)

On the road, a small bus was driving on the road.

Inside the bus, Steven, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were looking out the windows. "Look at that" Cream says, "Chao. Chao" Cheese says "Wow. It looks amazing out here" Steven says.

Outside of the bus on the land, it was really peaceful with sparkling water and calming environment all around while the bus continued driving on the road. The bus then makes a left.

At a bus stop, Mr. Tanaka was waiting. The bus arrives and stops at the bus stop. The doors opens for everyone "Mr. Tanaka, we're here. Hah" Chris says as he and everyone start making their way off the bus. "I trust you had a safe trip" Mr. Tanaka says before Chris goes up to him. "Your homeland really is beautiful, Mr. Tanaka" Chris says, "Thank you, Master Chris. I hope you and your friends will enjoy your stay here. It certainly was a wonderful place for a boy to grow up" Mr. Tanaka says, "I can see why" Chris says before a ramp was pulled out from the bus for Helen's wheel chair to roll out. "Thank you" Steven says before he tipped the bus driver and helped Helen off the bus. "Thank you, Steven" Helen says, "You're welcome, Helen" Steven says before they get off they all got off the bus and the bus drives off. "Where do we go from here, Mr. Tanaka?" Amy asked, "Well, just follow me and I will take you" Mr. Tanaka says as he shows the direction. Mr. Stewart then shakes like an idiot towards Mr. Tanaka. "Now, hold on just a minute there, sir" Mr. Stewart says before he stops and takes his yellow flag out again. "Just let me get out my flag here. I will be your official guide. Step lively, kids" Mr. Stewart says before he skips while holding his yellow flag up and leading Mr. Tanaka and everyone else while Steven pushes Helen's wheel chair. "Mr. Stewart sure likes to play "I am the leader"" Steven says, "You can say that again" Helen says before she laughs a bit.

As everyone walked through the forest areas, they were all enjoying the scenery. "Look at the mountains" Cream says off screen, "And all the nature around us" Amy says off screen. Chris then turns to Cream. "Nothing but blue skies, trees, grass, sure it's pretty, huh, Cream?" Chris asked, "It's the most beautiful place we've ever seen" Cream says before she turns to Cheese. "Isn't it, Cheese?" Cream asked, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "The air smells fresh, the sky is clear, it's just so perfect here. I'm glad we chose this place to camp" Steven says, "Hmm" Mr. Tanaka says while smiling.

Back at the Japanese City, Sonic grunted while he was jumping and running on the roofs a few buildings before making a jump. Sonic lands on the ground and continues running. Sonic then ran back towards a building and smiles before walking towards it a bit. "Hey, aren't you Sonic?" a woman asked off screen, getting Sonic's attention. Sonic turns around to see two Geisha ladies. "You're the one who comes on tv a lot along with your friend Steven" the Geisha lady with the blue robe says, "I'm so happy we ran into you in person" the Geisha lady with the red robe says. "You can say that again" the Geisha lady with the blue robe says before Sonic rubs the side of his head a bit. "Oh, how embarrassing!" Sonic says.

At the campsite, everyone arrived and got everything set up. Amy then picks up a piece of an onion. "What's this smelly thing?" Amy asked as she showed the Onion to Mr. Stewart. Mr. Stewart was cutting up an Eggplant, Mr. Tanaka was cutting Onions and Steven was rinsing vegetables in the sick of portable cooking station. "An onion. Mr. Tanaka is fixing us some lunch" Mr. Stewart says while Mr. Tanaka continued cutting onions. Mr. Stewart then looks at how Mr. Tanaka was cutting the Onions. "You do that just like a real chef, Mr. Tanaka" Mr. Stewart says, "It takes great concentration" Mr. Tanaka says before Amy passes a bowl to Mr. Stewart. "Would you like to help me mix the dressing for the salad, Mr. Stewart?" Amy asked, "Uh, well" Mr. Stewart says before he takes the bowl. "Sure, why not?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Wow. It's only been months since the public found out about Sonic, Steven and the others and they're already fitting in perfectly. This camping trip might not be so bad after all. I have to keep an eye on Chris even if Steven is watching, but that doesn't mean that I can't have fun" Mr. Stewart says in his head before Amy places a bowl next to Mr. Tanaka. "Here's a bowl to put the vegetables in, Mr. Tanaka" Amy says, "Perfect" Mr. Tanaka says, "I think I'm beginning to like this" Mr. Stewart says in his head. Amy then goes up to Steven. "How are the vegetables turning out, Steven?" Amy asked, "They're turning out nicely rinsed" Steven says before he picked up a nicely rinsed broccoli. "Great. We'll have the salad ready in no time" Amy says, "That's right" Steven says, "Steven" Mr. Tanaka says, "Yes, Mr. Tanaka?" Steven asked, "When I heard you were traveling on your own awhile ago, did you happen to learn new things from it?" Mr. Tanaka asked, "Yeah" Steven says before he puts the last rinse vegetable in a bowl. Steven then drys his hands with a towel. "I learned a lot of places of different things when I was stopping at a few cities. Some of them are different and traditional then what I'm used to in Station Square. Some of the Pedestrians also speak different languages" Steven says, "Thats right. A lot of places are unique than what others are normally used to in their lives" Mr. Tanaka says, "Wow, really?" Amy asked, "He's right. One time I was teaching Chris and his classmates back at school about Geography. It's a really interesting subject once you learn from it" Mr. Stewart says, "Yeah, I actually want to try and learn all the different languages there are in this world. I've already know how to speak Chinese when I was at Oriental City with Knuckles and Hawk" Steven says, "Well if you like, Steven, I would be glad to help you with that. After all, Japanese is one of my specialties" Mr. Tanaka says, "Really? Thanks, Mr. Tanaka" Steven says, "You're welcome, Steven" Mr. Tanaka says, "It would really help a lot because when the residents from those places offered me lots of food and souvenirs, they spoke in their traditional language that I didn't understand. So if I learn every language there is, then I'll be talking to other people without any problem" Steven says, "Then we'll make sure you do understand" Mr. Tanaka says, "What were the food like, Steven?" Amy asked, " Well a lot of food were also cultural and traditional too. In fact, I want to try and make a cultural dish one day" Steven says, "That sounds like a good idea, Steven" Mr. Stewart says, "Yeah. I've always wanted to try a cultural dish" Amy says, "If you all like, we can come up with a dish to make together" Mr. Tanaka says, "Really?" Mr. Stewart, Amy and Steven asked at the same time. "Yes" Mr. Tanaka says, "Okay. I'll try to make a Japanese dish. What kind of Japanese dishes are there, Mr. Tanaka?" Steven asked, "There are Sushi, Noodles, Rice Balls and other types of dishes that are famous here in my home town" Mr. Tanaka says, "Hmm. I think I'll do research on the different types of dishes and come up with a dish to make. I want to make it a surprise" Steven says, "Good idea. That way everybody will have a surprised dish" Amy says, "Hmm" Mr. Stewart says as he nodded.

With Tails, Chris and Danny, they were catching bugs with nets as Danny was about to catch a Beatle on a tree while the Beatle chirped. "Got it" Danny says as he tried to catch it, but missed. "Ahhh" Danny says, "Ahhh. You just missed" Chris says. Tails was looking at a Woodlouse crawl on the dirt. Tails then touched it with a stick before the Woodlouse rolled on its back and curled into a ball. "Wow, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen" Tails says while Chris and Danny walk by. Tails then picks the Woodlouse up. "I'm gonna put it in the jar, and take it home" Tails says, "I thought we were only collecting bugs that fly" Danny says, "Hmm" Chris says and nods before he and Danny walk away from Tails. "Hello there, little guy" Tails says.

With Helen, Frances, Cream and Cheese, Frances, Cream and Cheese were in the water while Helen watched. Cream also had water shoes on while Frances took her shoes off and rolled her pants up a bit. "Wow, look at all the fish, Cream" Frances says as there was two fish in the water. "Yeah, there's some!" Cream says before she splashes and makes a run towards the fish. The fish swim away as they saw her feet. "Wait!" Cream says as she tried to pounce on them, but the fish jumped away while Frances giggled. "Agh! It jumped!" Cream says before Frances laughs bit. Helen also laughed a bit before she noticed Cheese floating away from them due to the current. "Ahh! Frances! Cream! Cheese is floating away!" Helen says, "Huh?" Frances asked before she spotted Cheese. "Cheese, watch out!" Frances says, "Chao. Chao. Chao" Cheese says as he continues to float around the water. "Cheese!" Cream says and screams. "Chao. Chao. Chao" Cheese says as they floats away from Cream and Frances. "Oh, Cheese!" Cream says before she runs towards where Cheese floated while Cheese went in a different direction of the current. Frances then went after Cream. "Wait Cream!" Helen says, "Come back! No!" Frances says before she stops Cream. "Cream, we have to tell the others!" Frances says, "Chao, chao, chao!" Cheese says as they go further away in the water.

Back at the campsite, Helen, Frances and Cream told everyone what happened while Steven was looking at the river wondering which direction Cheese went. "Cheese must be up the river somewhere" Mr. Stewart says before Mr. Tanaka points forward with everyone else looking. "About a mile from this spot. The river splits off in two different directions" Mr. Tanaka says before puts his hand down. "There's no telling which way the current was traveling" Mr. Tanaka says and Cream begins to cry. "Cheese!" Cream says before Amy puts a hand on Cream's back. "Don't cry Cream. It'll be okay. Remember, Cheese is a very good swimmer" Amy says before Tails went up to them. "Yeah, Amy's right" Tails says, "Mmhmm" Cream says while she continues to cry a bit. Frances then felt bad. "I feel so bad. I should've done something" Frances says, "You did what you could, Frances" Helen says, "Don't feel bad. It's not your fault" Chris says, "Mm-hmm" Danny says as he nods. Tails then notices Steven put his hand in the river. "What are you doing, Steven?" Tails asked and everyone looked at Steven. "I want to see what motion the current is going so we can possibly get a clue on how far Cheese is from us right now" Steven says, "How will you do that?" Danny asked, "You'll see" Steven says before he began to concentrate. "Hmm..." Steven says as he shifted his hand a few times in the water. After a few seconds, Steven takes his hand out of the water. "The current is rapid. Cheese could possible be miles away from us right now" Steven says and everyone except Mr. Tanaka start to get worried and Cream look like she was about to cry again. "Do not worry" Mr. Tanaka says off screen, "Huh?" Everyone asked before looking at Mr. Tanaka. "The current may be rapid, but there are many areas where the water is shallow. Cheese may be very stuck in a patch of sand somewhere" Mr. Tanaka says, "Then we better get going right now!" Steven says, "Let's all search right away!" Danny says, "Okay, we'll start on official search party!" Tails says, "Yeah!" Chris, Danny, Tails and Amy said as they put their hands up.

At another part of the forest, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were on a little safari adventure while wearing safari outfits. Decoe and Bocoe carried two big knapsacks behind their backs while groaning. "My feet are killing me" Bocoe says. Dr. Eggman growls and throws his hat on the floor. The hat bounced up to Decoe's face, knocking him and Bocoe on the floor while yelping. "I can't take anymore! It must be 120 degrees out here!" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe stands up and holds a thermometer. "Actually, doctor, it's exactly 80 degrees Fahrenheit" Decoe says and Bocoe holds another thermometer. "Mine says 35 degrees Celsius, which is really the same as 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Either way, we are talking hot stuff" Bocoe says, "Be quiet! I didn't ask you for a weather report! Decoe, my chair! Bocoe, my fan!" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe unfolds a chair. "All right. there we go" Decoe says and Dr. Eggman sits on it. Decoe then rubs the sweat off Dr. Eggman's face with a towel. "Nice and cool" Bocoe says as he waves a fan back and forth making Dr. Eggman sighs in relief. "Pretty please, Doctor. Can't we have our vacation back at the Eggfort 2 where it is nice and cool?" Decoe asked, "No, the theme of this vacation is roughing it and like it or not, that's what we're going to do!" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh, well, at least mosquitoes don't like robots. I just hope you brought enough calamine lotion" Bocoe says, "Quiet!" Dr. Eggman says, causing Bocoe to fall on the ground,. "Oh!" Bocoe says. Then suddenly, Bokkun laughs off screen before Bokkun flew towards them. "Huh?" Bocoe asked before he looks up to see Bokkun. "Hi" Bokkun says while holding a flower before lowering up to Dr. Eggman. "What are you doing here? I gave strict orders not to be disturbed" Dr. Eggman says and Bokkun laughs again. "I know, I know, but I thought" Bokkun says before he turns around and points at a direction. "...You should know about this" Bokkun says, "Hmmm?" Dr. Eggman asked as he looked. "Hmmm" Decoe says as he looked. "Hmmm" Bocoe says as he also looked.

At another part of the forest, voices were heard. "Cheese, we're coming to get you!" Mr. Stewart says off screen, "Hey, Cheese!" Frances says off screen. "Cheese...Cheese...Cheese..." Chris, Danny, Helen, Tails and Cream said off screen.

At a mountain area, Steven, Tails, Cream, Chris, Frances, Helen, Danny and Mr. Stewart were calling and looking for Cheese. "Answer us if you can hear us! Cheese, are you there?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Cheese!" Chris, Tails, Cream, Danny, Frances and Helen said at the same time. "Cheese, where are you!? Are you out there!? If you are, follow our voices!" Steven says.

At the other side of the mountain area, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw Steven and everyone else while wearing tree branches on their heads in disguise. "What are Steven and his clowns doing here!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "This sure is a coincidence..." Decoe says, "Perhaps they're looking for a Chaos Emerald" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman sits up a bit. "Well, SO AM I!" Dr. Eggman says before getting pushed back down by Decoe and Bocoe. "Get down, they'll see us!" Decoe says before Bocoe looks to the left. "In order to observe, we must remain incognito" Bocoe says. Dr. Eggman sits up and he had a little dirt marks above his eyes. "Grrr. Oh, I'll remain incognito, all right, as incognito as a snake in the grass!" Dr. Eggman says.

At a river, the water was streaming. "Cheese! Are you there?" Chris asked off screen. Steven and everyone else continue calling and looking for Cheese around the area. "Cheese!" Mr. Stewart, Tails, Cream, Danny, Frances and Helen said at the same time. "Cheese, this is not the time to play hide and seek right now! Where are you!?" Steven asked off screen. Steven and everyone didn't notice Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were following them sneakily from behind. Suddenly, mosquitoes fly above Dr. Eggman and Dr. Eggman growls. A mosquito then lands on Dr. Eggman's head, making Dr. Eggman slap it and kill it. "Ow! That pesky mosquito just sunk its stinger into my soggy wet noodle!" Dr. Eggman says while Decoe and Bocoe look at each other. "It is not like we did not warn him" Decoe says, "Uhhuh" Bocoe says as he nods before Dr. Eggman faces them. "All right, you lazy leeches. I want every mosquito here insecticides..." Dr. Eggman says, "Couldn't... We just use bug spray...?" Bocoe asked, "Oh!" Decoe says as he noticed something forward. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Behind you" Decoe says off screen before Dr. Eggman turns around to see a moth spray fly towards him. Dr. Eggman screams before the moth sprays on Dr. Eggman. Decoe and Bocoe watch in shock while Dr. Eggman tries to shake it off. The moth flies above Decoe and Bocoe before Decoe and Bocoe lower their heads. The moth then flies away. Dr. Eggman grunts and turns around with a bunch of red bumps on his head and nose. Dr. Eggman then gasped while shaking a bit. "It itches! I can't bear it!" Dr. Eggman says. After a few minutes, Decoe and Bocoe were putting cream on Dr. Eggman's bumps while laying down. Dr. Eggman then moans. "That cursed insect...!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back with Steven and everyone else, Chris turns around a bit. "Hey, was that a voice coming from over there?" Chris asked and got everyone else's attention. "Was it Cheese?" Frances asked, "Uh-uh. It sounded like a man" Chris says before he looks around. "Maybe someone else is camping" Mr. Stewart says, "Maybe" Chris says, "Well who ever it was, they're probably doing something. We gotta hurry and find Cheese" Steven says, "Cheese!" Mr. Stewart says, "Cheese, we're on our way!" Chris says, "Hey, Cheese!" Frances says, "Come out, come out wherever you are!" Steven says before he pushes Helen's wheelchair forward they continue walking.

Steven and everyone else stopped when the lake lead them to a tunnel. "Looks like the lake leads the rest of the way though that tunnel" Steven says, "What if Cheese is inside that tunnel?" Cream asked.

Inside the tunnel, it lead to a dark pathway. "I'll look" Mr. Stewart says before he looks inside the cave.

Back outside of the tunnel, Mr. Stewart stands up and shrugs his shoulders. "Hmm, I'm afraid I can't fit" Mr. Stewart says, "I'll bet we could all fit no problem. You wait here while we check it out" Chris says, "Okay, while you guys go through there, me and Helen will find another way to the other side" Steven says, "All right, promise you'll be careful" Mr Stewart says while moving away a bit. "Okay" Chris says before he, Danny, Frances, Tails and Cream were about to go in. "Hmm" Mr. Stewart says as he watches.

Back inside the tunnel, Chris and everyone else enter the cave and walked forward.

Back outside of the tunnel, Mr. Stewart, Steven and Helen continue watching. "Just make sure you don't lose your way!" Mr. Stewart says, "We won't!" Frances says, "And make sure you all stay together!" Helen says, "If anything happens, come back right away!" Steven says, "We will!" Frances says before Frances goes in the tunnel. "You want to come with us, Mr. Stewart?" Steven asked, "No it's okay. I'll stay and wait for them in case they come back" Mr. Stewart says "Okay. If you say so. Come on, Helen, let's go around and find another way to the other side" Steven says, "Right" Helen says before Steven turns Helen's wheelchair and they walked away from the tunnel. Mr. Stewart then presses a button on his watch with a click and looks to see a signal moving on the radar while beeping.

Back inside the tunnel, Chris and everyone else continue walking through while he didn't realize he had a tracker on his pants.

Back outside the tunnel, Mr. Stewart continues looking at his watch. "Hey, they're coming in loud and clear!" Mr. Stewart says.

Back at the Japanese City, people were enjoying themselves around a fair area.

At a food stand, a man was cooking some food while a few people watched. Sonic then walked by in interest. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he looks at what the man was cooking. The man was pouring mix in cutter spoons. "Hey!" Sonic says before the man closes two cutter spoons together with one that had the mix in it. The man then opens them and they turned into well cooked Japanese styled cookies. "Wow!" Sonic says. "Huh?" a woman asked from another stand before she notices Sonic. "Sonic!" the woman says off screen, "Huh?" Sonic asked before turning to the right. The lady had a plate of pastries in front of Sonic. "Try a pastry" the woman says and this got everyone's attention as they look at Sonic. "Whoa" the cook says, "Ah. Thanks!" Sonic says before he tries the pastry while a man records Sonic with a camera. "Oh, Sonic!" a man says off screen, "You like it?" The woman asked, "It's good!" Sonic says and gives a thumbs up, making some people clap and cheer.

At the other side of the tunnel, Chris and everyone else reached the end of the tunnel before coming out. "Guess this is the end of this tunnel. I wonder what's out here. Oh..." Chris says before he stops, "What?" Francis asked before Cream and Tails gasped. Everyone looked surprised at what they saw. "Is this real...?" Chris asked.

CHAO

At the land from the other side of the lake tunnel, Chris and everyone else continue looking at what they saw. "It can't be..." Chris says. In front of everyone was a lake that had a lot of wild Chaos'. The wild Chaos' we're in the water playing, squeaking and flying around. "Hey, they all look just like Cheese!" Chris says, "I can't believe it! It's a Chao colony...!" Tails says before he runs and laughs. "Oh!" Cream says before she follows Tails. Two wild Chaos' were smelling flowers and Frances goes up to them. The wild Chaos' then go close to her "Oh... They're all so cute!" Frances says while six more Chaos' fly around Chris and Danny. "Hey, look, Chris, they really like us" Danny says, "Yeah, I guess they can sense that we're friendly..." Chris says. A wild Chao was then pulling on Tails whiskers. "Hey, this one wants to go for a swim!" Tails says. Cream then runs up to the lake. "Cheese!" Cream says before a wild Chao flies up to her. "Is that you? I guess not" Cream says and another wild Chao flies towards her. "Huh, Cheese! Sorry" Cream says, "Chao. Chao. Chao" Cheese says off screen, getting Cream's attention before she sees Cheese in the water. Cheese then swims towards Cream "There you are, Cheese!" Cream says before she runs in the lake. Cream and Cheese then hands. "Chao. Chao. Chao" Cheese says, "Cheese!" Cream says before picking up Cheese. "Oh, Cheese, you're okay" Cream says and everyone else looks at them with smiles on their faces. "She's so happy. Come on out of that water, Cream. You're getting your feet all soggy" Frances says and Cream walks towards them while holding Cheese and the other wild Chaos' fly from behind. "I don't mind. All that matters is Cheese is okay" Cream says, "He sure is. Are you happy?" Chris asked, "Uh-huh" Cream says, "Looks like Cheese made some friends" Tails says, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "Chao, chao!" the other wild Chaos' said at the same time, getting Chris, Frances, Danny and Tails' attention. "What's up?" Danny asked, "They're all excited about something" Tails says before three wild Chaos' fly around Chris and Frances. "I'll bet they're just happy that Cheese found his friends again, that's all" Chris says, "I think you're right" Frances says, "It really is pretty here, don't you think?" Chris asked while more wild Chaos' surround Cream. "Thank you!" Cream says, "Sure is! Let's look around!" Frances says.

At another part of the Japanese city, Sonic was getting school students and other citizen's attention as he was on top of a Japanese building. "There he is" A male student says, "Up there on the roof" another male student says before Sonic laughs while having his arms crossed. "Hi, Sonic..." a female student says before Sonic spreads his arms out. "Hehehey" Sonic says. This got the high school girls' attention by making them happy and one holding a camera. "Hiya, girls" Sonic says off screen, "Sonic!" the female student says before Sonic grunts and jumps away. the female student then looks sad. "Now I won't have a picture. Huh?" the female student asked before she turns around and saw Steven and Helen walking by with Steven pushing Helen's wheelchair. "Hey, look!" the female student says, getting everyone's attention. "It's Steven!" the female student says. This made more female students scream along with the other students and citizens before they run towards Steven. "Huh?" Steven asked as he heard the screams before turning to the right. Steven then gasped as he saw the students and citizens run towards him and Helen. "Oh no! I thought this was over with already!" Steven says, "What's wrong, Steven?" Helen asked, "It seems like I'm really popular around here! We gotta get out of here! Hang on, Helen!" Steven says before he pushed Helen's wheelchair faster and runs away from the crowd.

Back at the Chao Colony/Garden, everyone was playing with the Chao's before Steven and Helen appeared from up a hill while Steven sweated and panted a bit. "I think we lost them..." Steven says, "That's good. Huh?" Helen asked as she notices the wild Chaos' everywhere in the Chao Colony/Garden. "What is it, Helen?" Steven asked before he gasped and saw the wild Chaos'. "Are these... Chaos'" Steven asked, "There are so many that look like Cheese!" Helen says, "Wow. They must have been here this whole time after Chaos Control happened..." Steven says before he pushes Helen's wheelchair towards Chris, Tails, Frances and Cheese. "Hey, guys" Steven says and got Chris, Frances, Tails and Cheese' attention. "Steven and Helen. You two made it" Chris says, "We sure did. We had a little bit of a rough time getting here though" Steven says before he chuckles nervously a bit. "What is this place?" Helen asked, "This is a Chao Colony. It's a colony where a lot of Chaos' like Cheese live in" Tails says, "Right now we're watching Danny play catch with them" Frances says, "Really?" Steven asked before he and Helen watch. "Come on, throw the ball, Danny" Chris says and Danny was about to throw the ball. "Hah" Danny says as he threw the ball towards the other wild Chaos'. "Chao. Chao" the wild Chaos' said as two wild Chaos' tried to catch it, but a third one catches the ball from behind. "Hey, nice catch!" Cream says, "Chao" Cheese says. Chris and Frances then pick fruits from the trees. "Uh, these look great" Chris says before he and Frances offer the fruit to the wild chaos'. "Here" Chris says, "Here you go" Frances says and a wild Chao eats the whole fruit. "Look how they gobble them up!" Frances says, "They sure do love fruit" Helen says, "Just like me" Steven says and chuckles a bit before Chris turns towards Tails. "Hey, Tails, do the Chao on your planet have little colonies like this too?" Chris asked and Tails nodded his head. "Yup, they have colonies in a lot of places, but there has to be plenty of fresh water" Tails says while two wild Chaos' fly above the lake and another one floats in the lake. Another wild Chao swims towards another wild Chao that was sniffing a flower. "And since the water has to be kept clean, most of the Chao Colonies are kept a secret" Tails says, "I see..." Steven says, "I guess they're kept a secret here, too... I've never seen anything like this. It's like a whole different world" Frances says, "Yeah, a secret world" Tails says, "I guess you can say it's not secret to me and Helen anymore since we found our way here from a stampede of fans" Steven says, "A stampede?" Chris asked, "Yeah. A lot of people were chasing after Steven" Helen says, "I guess people here are not used to us being here long enough" Tails says, "Yeah. It's a good thing they didn't follow us all the way or else they would have seen this place" Steven says, "Yeah" Frances says before a couple of wild Chaos' go up to Helen. "Oh wow, they're so cute" Helen says before the wild Chaos' chirp. Steven smiles before he sees a wild Chao fly up to him. "Hi there, little guy" Steven says before he petted the wild Chao. As the wild Chao was petted, a heart symbol formed above it's head. "Whoa. I guess you like to be petted" Steven says and the wild Chao chirped. The wild Chao lifted its arms as if it was asking to be held. "You want to be held? Okay" Steven says before he picked up the wild Chao and held it close. The heart symbol above the wild Chao was formed again. Tails, Chris, Frances and Helen gasped at the sight. Steven then noticed them looking at him and the Wild Chao. "Huh? What's wrong?" Steven asked, "I've never seen a Chao form a heart above its head like that before" Tails says, "Wow. Really, Tails?" Chris asked, "Yeah. We thought those circles above their heads were just part of their natural looks, but I guess it turns out they're more than just circles" Tails says, "Wow" Helen says before Cream, Cheese and Danny walk towards them. "Hey what's up?" Danny asked, "We found out something cool about these Chaos'! They can form hearts above their heads!" Frances says, "Hearts?" Cream asked before she looked at the yellow circle above Cheese's head. "Yeah. When Steven petted and held one of the Chaos', it formed a heart above its head" Chris says, "Really?" Danny asked, "Yeah. Show them, Steven" Tails says, "Okay, sure" Steven says before he pets another wild Chao. The other wild Chao also formed a heart on its head. This made Danny and Cream gasp while Cheese chirp. "Wow that looks cool" Danny says, "I didn't know they could do that. That means you can do it too, right, Cheese?" Cream asked and Cheese chirps. Then suddenly, all of the wild Chaos' start to pile all over Steven while chirping. "Whoa! Hey, calm down! Everyone gets a turn" Steven says and laughs a bit. "Woah! Look at all those Chaos' all over Steven" Danny says, "I guess they all saw the heart that they all want to be petted and held too" Helen says, "This really is something special and interesting" Tails says. Steven started petting all of the wild Chaos' and they all formed hearts above their heads. "Wow. All of those Chaos' really like Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps. The wild Chaos' then give Steven space and Steven recovers. "You okay, Steven?" Frances asked, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just wasn't expecting a giant group hug" Steven says and chuckles a bit. "They must really love you then, Steven" Chris says, "I can tell. And you know what I just thought of?" Steven asked, "What?" Tails asked, "For some reason when I was petting these Chaos', I feel something special in them" Steven says, "Really?" Helen asked, "Yeah" Steven says, "How special Steven?" Cream asked, "Well I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like that these Chaos' are more than just mythical creatures. They could possibly have potential in them if they were to be raised. Come to think of it, what are the Chaos' original origins?" Steven asked, "We're not too sure on that one, Steven" Tails says, "Yeah. I met Cheese back then and I wasn't sure what the Chaos' origins are either. But we both became best friends. Right, Cheese?" Cream asked and Cheese chirps. "Hmm. Then I'm gonna do a lot of research on their origin and find out what's their true purpose if they were to be raised" Steven says, "Great idea" Tails says, "Yeah. Then maybe you could have your own Chao after, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Maybe..." Steven says while he looks at the wild Chaos' around him.

Over the forest, insects chirped off screen.

Back with Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe, they were still walking through the forest while Decoe and Bocoe were getting tired. "How much longer do we have to keep this up...?" Decoe asked, "Please, can't we go home, Dr. Eggman? My bearings are killing me!" Decoe says before Dr. Eggman turns around and growls. "Quit you whining, will you!? I refuse to spend my week's vacation listening to your incessant bellyaching!" Dr. Eggman says before he pants out of breath. "I think he has heatstroke" Decoe says, "Never mind him. If we don't stop roughing it soon, I'm going to overheat!" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman points at Decoe. "Decoe, I order you to empty that knapsack" Dr. Eggman says, "Right away Doctor" Decoe says before he took of his knapsack and unzipped it. "Huh?" Bocoe asked before it revealed to be Dr. Eggman's Selection Machine. Dr. Eggman then laughs. "While I know this camping trip is all about getting back to nature... There are certain amenities one cannot do without... and this is one of them!" Dr. Eggman says as puts the cards in a slot. "I pull this and..." Dr. Eggman says before he then pulls the lever and the slot machine will decide on a robot. The 3 slots stop on all 3 and shows a robot named E-66 Da-Dai-Oh. Dr. Eggman then pulls out a remote. "A perfect choice! And now to wake up our little friend E66!" Dr. Eggman says before he presses a button. The remote then fires a laser and the laser goes all the way.

Back over the forest, the laser continues growing long.

At the ocean, the laser goes in the water.

Underwater, the laser lands on the Eggfort II.

Back above the ocean, E-66 Da-Dai-Oh rises from the ocean and make its way to the skies.

Back at the campsite, Amy was making vegetable omelets and Mr. Tanaka was still cooking. Amy then looks forward. "Do you think they're okay, Mr. Tanaka...?" Amy asked before Mr. Tanaka turns to her. "I'm sure they are just fine" Mr. Tanaka says before he looks forward. "When I was a boy, I would play on those mountains from sunrise to sunset. They will be back soon" Mr. Tanaka says off screen, "You mean, once you were a young boy like Chris, Mr. Tanaka?" Amy asked, "Certainly. I'll have you know, I was not always a grownup. Everyone is a child once..." Mr. Tanaka says, "Children!" Mr. Stewart says off screen, getting Amy and Mr. Tanaka's attention before Mr. Stewart went up to them. "You mean, they haven't come back here yet?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Well, we thought they were with you" Amy says, "We were looking for Cheese, and we found a small tunnel... The children went in to look and I haven't seen them since. I don't even know where Steven and Helen are either... Where could they be?" Mr. Stewart asked, "They must have gotten lost" Mr. Tanaka says, "Well, at first, I was tracking Chris's whereabout with this monitor" Mr. Stewart says as his watch screen was showing static. "But soon after they enter the tunnel, I lost contact!" Mr. Stewart says, "I hope they're okay..." Amy says before a huge shadow flies above the campsite. This made Amy and Mr. Stewart scream and Mr. Tanaka to gasped as they look to see E-66 Da-Dai-Oh flying away. "It's Eggman!" Amy says while sweat dropping.

Back at the Chao Colony/Garden, everyone was about to leave while saying goodbye. "Goodbye, you guys!" Chris says as he waved. "It's been fun!" Steven says before the Chaos' had sad looks on their faces as they looked at Steven. Steven then went up to them. "Hey, what's wrong?" Steven asked, "I think they're gonna miss you, Steven" Helen says while Steven looked at her. "Ah. I see" Steven says before he faces the wild Chaos' again. "Hey, it's okay, everyone. Me and everyone else will come and visit again some day. I promise you all" Steven says before he petted a wild Chao and the wild Chao formed the heart above its head, making Steven chuckle. Cheese then flew next to Steven. "Chao, chao" Cheese says, "Chao, Chao chao, chao. Chao, chao" the wild Chaos' said at the same time before Steven goes up to Chris. "We'll meet you all back at the campsite" Steven says, "Okay" Chris says before he, Danny, Frances, Tails, Cream and Cheese walked in the cave. The wild Chaos' then flew towards the cave.

Back inside the cave, the wild Chaos' waved. "Chao, chao, chao, chao, chao, chao, chao!" the wild Chaos' said as they waved at them. This made everyone look back at them. "Chao!" Cheese says, "See you later!" Cream and Tails said at the same time before they all went deeper in the cave.

Back at the Chao/Colony, Steven and Helen were leaving the area while the wild Chaos' waved and chirped at them too. "Goodbye!" Steven and Helen said at the same time before they began leaving the area.

Back at the mountain area, Chris and everyone else walked while Cheese looked sad. "Chao, chao" Cheese says, "You feel lonesome... Don't you, Cheese?" Cream asked before Chris stops walking and faces them. "Maybe we can come back here next year" Chris says before Danny stops walking too. "Sure, we can pack some sandwiches and maybe play some basketball! And Cheese can play with his new friends again!" Danny says, "Yeah! Cheese, that sounds good?" Cream asked, "Chao, chao. Chao, chao!" Cheese says. Then suddenly, Cheese notices something, getting everyone's attention as they look to see E-66 Da-Dai-Oh fly by. "What's that!?" Chris asked before E-66 Da-Dai-Oh zooms pass them, causing everyone to yelp and duck their heads. E-66 Da-Dai-Oh then faces them with Dr. Eggman laughing off screen. E-66 Da-Dai-Oh then descends down. It also revealed Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe on top of it. "Good day, my little explorers!" Dr. Eggman says from the microphone, "Him again!" Chris says. E-66 Da-Dai-Oh descends lower and stomps on the ground. This made groups of birds fly away. "Okay, kiddies, let's have it! Hand over that Chaos Emerald or else!" Dr. Eggman says from the microphone. "What Chaos Emerald?" Chris asked, "What are you talking about!?" Frances asked, "Don't play coy with me! Why else would you scavengers be snooping around here for?" Dr. Eggman says before he moves the microphone away. "Now, hand it over!" Dr. Eggman says as he pointed forward. "Huh?" Danny asked, "He must have seen us looking for Cheese and thought we were hunting for a Chaos Emerald" Chris says, "So that's why he's so upset" Tails says, "Hey, there aren't any Chaos Emeralds around here!" Chris says. This made Dr. Eggman grunt and slam his arms against Decoe and Bocoe before they fell down. "You can't fool me, you emerald snatchers!" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe stands up. "Do not get overexcited, Doctor!" Decoe says before Bocoe wipes Dr. Eggman's face with a rag. "You're beginning to perspire" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman snatches the rag out of Decoe's hand. "Well, then, if you mitesized meddlers won't cooperate with me, perhaps, my friend E66 will convince you!" Dr. Eggman says before E-66 Da-Dai-Oh raises it's arms and takes a step. This caused a vibration and for everyone to yell. Dr. Eggman laughs until E-66 Da-Dai-Oh tips over a bit, making Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe gasp and scream before E-66 Da-Dai-Oh crashes and slide on the ground. E-66 Da-Dai-Oh stops and then suddenly, the mud was spreading into the river. Chris and everyone else went to get a closer look at E-66 Da-Dai-Oh. "How did that happen?" Danny asked, "I guess the soil around here must be really soft... Maybe that's why that big thing tipped over" Tails says, "It serves him right for sticking his robot on us" Frances says before Cream turns towards the lake. "Oh, no, the river's water..." Cream says, "Huh?" everyone asked, "It's all muddy" Cream says off screen as there was mud spreading all over the river. "Chao, chao" Cheese says, "Hey, you guys, that river runs into the Chao colony!" Chris says, "Come on, we have to do something!" Danny says, "Let's go" Chris says, "Okay" Danny says before they all start to make their way back.

Back with Steven and Helen, they were walking around the forest with Steven pushing Helen's wheelchair. "Huh?" Steven asked as he saw the mud spreading all over the river. "What the!?" Steven asked, "What is it?" Helen asked, "The river's getting contaminated!" Steven says before Helen gets a closer look and gasped. "It's spreading really fast, Steven!" Helen says, "That's not good. With the current so rapid, the mud will fill up the whole river fast until it makes its way all the way where the Chao Colony is" Steven says, "Then the Chaos' won't have any fresh water left" Helen says, "Not if I can help it. Let's hurry back to the Colony and see what we can do to prevent this from getting worse" Steven says before he pushes Helen's wheelchair the other way and they make their way back to the Chao Colony.

Back with Dr. Eggman, he pops out of the dirt. "Who ever heard of a mushy mountain...?" Dr. Eggman asked before Decoe pops out. "I have a feeling that E66 and rugged terrain do not go hand in hand" Decoe says while he holds his head and Bocoe pops out. "He might be more effective on hard, flat surfaces" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman pushes them back in the dirt. "AH, KEEP QUIET! Now... help me dig out this cast iron klutz. We've got some emeralds to snag" Dr. Eggman says.

At another part of the area, E-66 Da-Dai-Oh was standing and cleaned while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were on top of it again with Decoe and Bocoe holding mops. "The cleaning is completed, Doctor!" Bocoe says, "Well, let's get going!" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe points down. "Dr. Eggman, look..." Decoe says, "Hmm" Dr. Eggman says, "Sonic!" Decoe says off screen before they see Sonic standing on a field with two bags in his arms. "Fancy meeting you here" Sonic says, "Well, Sonic, I... I mean we... We were just doing a lovely bit of sightseeing!" Dr. Eggman says before Dr. Eggman looks at Bocoe. "Yes" Bocoe says and Dr. Eggman turns to Decoe "For Our vacation" Decoe says before Sonic notices the mark E-66 Da-Dai-Oh left when it slipped down. "Ah, you're on vacation" Sonic says, "Yes, vacation... See, I've been such an old gloomy gus of late that I thought perhaps some leisure time out in the fresh air might do me a bit of good!" Dr. Eggman says, "He so needs it!" Decoe says, "That so?" Sonic asked, "Let it fly!" Dr. Eggman says before E-66 Da-Dai-Oh tries to hit Sonic with it's spiked ball, but Sonic dodges and goes on top of E-66 Da-Dai-Oh and jumps up. "He's gone!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic lands in front of them. "Hi there..." Sonic says before Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe turn to him. "Whoa!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. "Haven't you clowns learned yet you'll never be fast enough to catch me?" Sonic asked before he grunts and throws his bags away. "Huh?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Later, kids" Sonic says before he runs down E-66 Da-Dai-Oh and runs away from the area. After a few seconds, Sonic comes back and smashes E-66 Da-Dai-Oh through inside. E-66 Da-Dai-Oh glowed before exploding. This made Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe scream as they were sent flying in the sky. "Stop us!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time before they were sent away with a twinkle in the end. Sonic then catches his bags. "Sonic...!" Amy says off screen. "Huh?" Sonic asked before he sees Amy, Mr. Tanaka and Mr. Stewart run up to him. "Sonic... you have to do something...!" Mr. Stewart says before they see Sonic with pieces of E-66 Da-Dai-Oh behind him. "Oh... I see you've already done something..." Mr. Stewart says, "Mm-hmm" Sonic says before he walks towards them. "Cheese got lost down by the river. They all went looking, but they haven't come back" Amy says, "I'll find 'em. Hold these, will you" Sonic says before he throws the bags at them before running off. Mr. Tanaka, Mr. Stewart and Amy caught the bags and souvenirs came out of them. This made them gapsed as they looked at all the souvenirs.

Back at the Chao Colony/Garden, Chris, Danny, Frances, Steven and Tails were in the river digging out the mud with leaves, sticks and branches while Cream, Cheese, Helen and three wild Chaos' watched. Steven and Tails dug out out some mud with their sticks. "Here we go..." Steven says before he and Tails placed their mud on the leaves. "We'll carry the mud out with this" Danny says, "I don't think we can get it all, you guys" Chris says, "We have to at least try, Chris. Otherwise, all these little Chao will get sick" Frances says, "That's right, Frances. And if we all work together, it'll be a cinch" Tails says, "We just have to give it our best and not give up" Steven says, "Now, that's what I like to hear!" Sonic says off screen, getting Steven and Tails' attention before they look to see Sonic with three wild Chaos' around him. "So all we've got to do is get rid of that mud!" Sonic says before Chris, Danny and Frances look at Sonic. "It's Sonic!" Chris says, "Might want to let me take care of this. Wanna help me on this one, Steven?" Sonic asks, "Sure, let's give it a try!" Steven says. Everyone else gets cleared of the river and watch Sonic and Steven from the back. "Ready?" Sonic asked, "Yeah!" Steven says, "Here goes!" Sonic says before he ran around the river countercheck wise. Steven ran around the river countercheck wise. As Sonic and Steven ran around, it caused a whirl pool to form in the center of the lake. As the whirl pool got bigger, mud started splattering all over the place. Everyone else scream as they saw the mud heading towards them. After a few seconds of running, the river was now mud free. Sonic then stopped running. "OK, gang, it's all cleaned up" Sonic says before Steven stopped running. "It's mud free now!" Steven says before he wiped his hands. "Yeah!" Everyone says before they all ran forward. "Chao, chao! Chao! Chao, chao, chao!" the wild Chaos' said at the same time as they go in the water again. Everyone else then went up to Sonic and Steven. "Sonic, Steven... You guys did it!" Chris says, "Thank you so much" Helen says before Sonic points at them. "You're all muddy" Sonic says, "Huh?" Everyone except Steven asked at the same time before they all look at themselves. "We really are dirty..." Danny says, "Guess I need a shower" Frances says, "We're sorry about that" Steven says, "It's okay, Steven" Helen says, "Thanks for doing that, guys," Chris says, "Hey, our pleasure" Sonic says, "You're welcome" Steven says.

Back at the campsite, it was night time and Danny, Mr. Stewart, Mr. Tanaka, Amy, and Cream were watching Chris, Frances, Tails and Cheese hold firework sparklers in their hands while laughing. "It's so pretty" Frances says, "Great" Danny says, "How beautiful!" Cream says and Cheese chirps. Chris then stands up straight before facing Mr. Tanaka. "Bet you knew all about the Chao colony, didn't you, Mr. Tanaka?" Chris asked, "Of course, I knew, Master Chris. I stumbled upon that colony when I was a boy" Mr. Tanaka says, "Don't worry... We'll keep it a secret. Thanks to Sonic and Steven, maybe it'll still be here when I'm grown up" Chris says, "And perhaps even beyond, Master Chris" Mr. Tanaka says, "Where's Steven anyway? He's missing out on the fun" Danny says, "Chūi!" Steven says in Japanese off screen, getting everyone's attention before they look behind to see Steven holding a covered up pan in his hands. "What did Steven say, Mr. Tanaka?" Chris asked, "He said "Attention!" in Japanese" Mr. Tanaka says, "Steven knows Japanese language?" Frances asked, "Looks that way" Danny says, "Yūshoku ga dekimashita!" Steven says in Japanese before he placed the tray on the table. "He said "Dinner is served!"" Mr. Tanaka says, "Steven made dinner for us?" Helen asked, "It sure looks that way" Mr. Stewart says, "Well let's go see what he made" Tails says before everyone made their way to the table. "Teiji sa sete kudasai -" Steven says in Japanese before he lifts the cover off the tray. The tray revealed to be a Ramen dish with extra toppings all around it. "Rāmen!" Steven says in Japanese, making everyone gasped at the dish. "Woah! That looks delicious" Tails says before Amy takes a sniff. "Oh wow, it smells so good!" Amy says, "I've never tried Japanese food before" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Let's dig in!" Frances says, "Bonapeti" Steven says in Japanese. Everyone had a bowl and started eating. "So what do you all think?" Steven asked, "I love it" Chris says, "Me too" Danny says, "Same here" Frances says, "This has to be the best meal I've ever eaten next to Ella's" Tails says, "If Steven can make a dish this good, I wonder how many customers he would get if he opened his own restaurant" Amy says, "Everyone would love it" Cream says and Cheese chirps while slurping on the noodles. "This is absolutely amazing. What flavor is in this, Steven?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Miso and Butter, Mr. Stewart" Steven says before he slurped on his noddles. Steven then faces Mr. Tanaka. "Thanks for teaching me about about Japanese culture and about the differences at specific places in the world, Mr. Tanaka" Steven says, "It was my pleasure, Steven. I hope you will make good of it in the future" Mr. Tanaka says, "I will" Steven says, "By the way. What is this you added in your Ramen?" Mr. Tanaka asked as he held up a fish cake with his chop sticks. "A fish cake" Steven says, "Ah I see" Mr. Tanaka says before he took bite of it. "Hmm. I love homemade dishes" Mr. Tanaka says, "Thanks, Mr. Tanaka. Now I'm gonna give Sonic his bowl" Steven says before he made his way to Sonic who was laying down on a tree branch on a tree. "Here you go, Sonic. Enjoy" Steven says, "Thanks, Steven. This looks good" Sonic says before he eats the noodles. "Mmm. Tasty. Good job, Steven. Also while I was exploring the city, I stumbled upon some souvenirs for you. They're in the tent once if you want to look at them" Sonic says, "Thanks, Sonic, I'll be sure to check those out" Steven says while he eat his Ramen. "How was your tour around the city?" Steven asked, "It was nice. I got to impress a lot of people by eating and showing off at the City" Sonic says, "Oh really? I didn't do too much around there except getting chased by more people" Steven says before he and Sonic laugh a bit. "How was your adventure with everyone else?" Sonic asked, "It went good. For some reason I got a Chao to form a heart above its head" Steven asked, "Really?" Sonic asked, "Yeah and after that, the others were surprised too. Once I did that, more wild Chaos' wanted me to give them the same feeling" Steven says, "I guess all those Chaos' really liked you, Steven" Sonic says, "That's what the others said. I also feel that if they were to be raised properly, then they could possibly have their potential unlocked" Steven says, "Is that so? Well than I guess we'll have to find out one day" Sonic says, "Yeah, when I do full research on their origins that is" Steven says, "I get it" Sonic says, "You know, it feels great when you want to learn new things and learn to do them yourself then what you're normally used to. It's like I was given a gift to do more things than anybody else. Why do I feel that way?" Steven asked, "I guess you were destined to do so, Steven. Even I would think that" Sonic says, "Maybe, butI wonder, what is there I need to know that I don't know of yet?" Steven asked, "That's up to you to figure out, Steven. You'll see if it ever happens" Sonic says, "Yeah..." Steven says before he and Sonic watch everyone with a smile on their faces as today was the best day of Summer.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! Chris' father Nelson Thorndyke bought a ring that was actually the Purple Chaos Emerald inside a jewelry store! This caught Rouge and Topaz's attention in the meantime. Nelson called Chris to tell us to go to a City called "Filmdom City". Before we were about to leave, Tails explained to us that if we we added another Chaos Emerald to the collection, it would cause a disaster! So once we got there including Mr. Stewart out of nowhere, Nelson explained to us that it was the Anniversary for him and Lindsey and he was gonna perform it while Lindsey was filming a movie scene. But once Nelson showed the ring, it caused the Blue and Purple Chaos Emeralds to go crazy. Not only that, Knuckles showed up and he still had the Red Chaos Emerald in his Nelson was about to surprised Lindsey, the Element of Surprise was a disaster when the Purple, Blue and Red Chaos Emeralds were making contact with each other in an electrifying way! Because of everything that's happened, Dr. Eggman showed up to try and take the Chaos Emeralds from us so now it's time for a winner takes all battle to begin! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Mayhem! 6 Chaos Emeralds" ("Emerald Anniversary"). Let's get this battle started!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
