Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog

Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

27. Episode 26

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

A flashback from last Chapter/Episode plays with the Eggfort II's engines starting up, causing the trees to be blown. The Eggfort II then goes further in the air.

With Knuckles, he sits up and looks forward. "Eggman! Chris! Steven!" Knuckles says.

At a canyon, the Eggfort II flies over it.

Back where Knuckles was, Sonic who was next to Knuckles runs off.

Back at the canyon, Sonic zooms through while following the Eggfort II.

Birth! Super Sonic and Wrathful Steven (Countdown to Chaos)

At Station Square, it was down before the sun rises instantly in the sky, making the sky bright blue.

At another part of Station Square, there was stop signal for the crosswalk.

With Frances, Helen and Danny, they were in the area as Helen was holding a puppet of Next while waiting to cross the street. "Good morning, children. Come on, it's time to play" Helen says in a mimicking tone, "Look everybody" Frances says before putting her hands on her cheeks. "It's my favorite TV star" Frances says, "That's not quiet the same..." Danny says before the three laugh. Then suddenly, a shadow goes over them. This made the crowd mumur in confusion before Frances gasped and looks to see the Eggfort II flying in the sky. This caused the crowd to gasped a bit as well. "It's him!" Danny says off screen,"Dr. Eggman!?" Frances asked, "He's back again" Helen says off screen before the crowd screams and panics. The Eggfort II continues flying above Station Square with people continue screaming in fright off screen. The Eggfort II went further and it caused the crowd to stop screaming. Helen, Danny, Frances and everyone else continue watching the Eggfort II fly away. "What's he up to?" Danny asked, "Whatever it is, it's not good" Helen says, "He has to be stopped" Frances says before Sonic zooms pass them, making the, scream while shielding themselves. Danny opens his eyes and peaks underneath Helen's skirt a bit. Frances and Helen open their eyes with Frances looking to the direction Sonic ran off to, Helen glaring at Danny and using the Next puppet to cover her skirt and Danny smiled nervously. "That was Sonic" Frances says.

With Sonic, he was panting while running after the Eggfort II. "Chris! Steven!" Sonic says.

Inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, the monitor shows Sonic running on the streets. "Dr. Eggman, Sonic is following us" Decoe says off screen. "Sonic, hurry!" Chris says while Decoe and Bocoe were tightening bolts on a restraint around Chris on the wall. Steven was also screwed on the wall, but had extra bolt restraint around him and he was still unconscious from the shock collar around his neck. "He is gaining on us, we have to do something" Bocoe says, "Who cares about him? Especially when the 7th Chaos Emerald is waiting for me" Dr. Eggman says, "Understood!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time.

With E-77 Lucky, it was still at South West DUMP while holding onto the White Chaos Emerald and beeped as it's eyes sparkled a bit.

Inside the President's Office, a computer screen showed the map with a signal indicating the Eggfort II. "Eggman's ship is making its way towards Station Square, sir" the Director of Central Intelligence says off screen. "What measures are being taken? A total evacuation?" The President asked as he was in the room with the Director of Central Intelligence, the Chairman, two Agents, two security guards and a woman named Christina Cooper. "Yes, Mr. President. While we're not sure exactly where Eggman is headed... We have begun evacuation of the entire southern region. Everything is under control" Christina says before the President closes his eyes. "I've been dreading something like this. But now that the time has come, I just hope we're ready for him" The President says, "Thank you..." the first Agent says off screen before facing the President. "Mr. President, sir. We've just received word from G.U.N" the first Agent says.

At another part of Station Square, G.U.N trucks were on the streets with G.U.N soldiers around the area. "The Beatles are being put into place" the Agent says off screen.

Back inside the President's Office, the President then speaks. "Well, it won't be long now... We'll all have to wait and see..." The President says before everyone in the room looks at him. "There's nothing more any of us can do. Nothing but hope for the best and prepare for the worst" the President says.

In the skies, the X Tornado was flying.

Inside the X-Tornado was Tails, Chuck, Amy, Cream and Cheese inside. Chuck was also holding a radio up to his ear. "G.U.N has begun to act in the South at S-105's on route 237. Just keep her steady. They can't be far. Just give it a bit more and let's go get 'em, Tails!" Chuck says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, it continues flying. "OK!" Tails says off screen.

Above Phrista Hill, three Military choppers were flying. "Topaz, it's gorgeous!" Rouge says off screen.

Inside one of the Military choppers, Topaz blushed a bit as Rouge was looking at a yellow gem inside a blue jewelry box. "It's okay..." Topaz says, "I-" Topaz says before facing Rouge for a quick second and looking away again. "I Just don't know what to say" Rouge says, "If you don't like it, I can take it back, Rouge. I don't really know anything about jewelry, so I asked a sales clerk and she helped me pick it out" Topaz says before Rouge closes her eyes. "It's dreamy" Rouge says before Topaz looks at her. "It's nice" Topaz says and Rouge looks at Topaz. "Thanks, Topaz" Rouge says before Topaz look surprised. "You deserve it. I just wanted to thank you and Steven for your help. When you see Steven, give him this and tell him it's from me" Topaz says before she gave Rouge a case. Rouge opens the case and it revealed a Metal Force outfit. Rouge continued to smile. "Sure" Rouge says.

Outside the Military Chopper, Knuckles was holding on to the wheel. "I really messed up... How could I have trusted Eggman?" Knuckles asked in his head.

Back with E-77 Lucky, it was beeping and waving it's arms around as it saw the Egg Fort II fly towards him while Dr. Eggman laughed off screen.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman speaks. "Ah, there's my little good luck charm! I just KNEW he'd bring back the Chaos Emerald" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe and Bocoe give blank looks. Bocoe then turns to Decoe. "I am surprised he did not drop it" Bocoe says before Decoe turns to Bocoe. "He sure is a klutz, isn't he...?" Decoe asked before Dr. Eggman looks at both of them. "He is a bit clumsy" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside, the Egg Fort opens a hatch. "I better grab that emerald! Lucky, come to daddy!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Welcome!" Decoe says off screen as a hand appeared from the hatchet.

E-77 Lucky, it beeped while the hand was about to grab E-77 Lucky. But suddenly, Sonic grunted as he ran up to the hand and destroyed it. Sonic then skidded a bit before stopping. "Sorry, Pops, you gotta be faster than that" Sonic says before E-77 Lucky beeped and went flying away.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman groans while he, Decoe and Bocoe looked shocked. "Ah! Why does that heinous hedgehog always have to ruin everything...?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Serves you right!" Decoe says, "This is bad!" Bocoe says.

Back outside, E-77 Lucky landed on a broken mattress while it beeped.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman continues. "Huh? But, but my my emerald!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside, Sonic chuckles, then turns his head towards the Eggfort II, winks and waves his finger. "Haha! Don't worry! I'll keep it safe and sound for you!" Sonic says.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Chris saw Sonic. "All right!" Chris says and Dr. Eggman got mad. "Grr! Don't even think about it, Sonic! Grr, that Chaos Emerald is mine! Do you hear me?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Mine!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside, E-77 Lucky was about to give Sonic the White Chaos Emerald. "Mine! What are you doing, Lucky!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen, "He would not dare...!" Decoe says off screen while Sonic was about to accept the White Chaos Emerald and E-77 Lucky was about to give it to him. "We must do something, Doctor" Bocoe says off screen. Then suddenly, a rumble was heard and it got Sonic and E-77 Lucky's attention as they see something big pop out of the ground. E-77 Lucky beeped and grabbed the White Chaos Emerald back and ran away a long with Sonic. Sonic groans before he stopped. Sonic then turns towards the Eggfort II. "Too bad! You just missed me..." Sonic says.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Sonic continues off screen while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe looked confused. "Nice try though, Doc" Sonic says off screen before Dr. Eggman faces Decoe while pointing at a direction. "Was it your idea to send those robots?" Dr. Eggman asked before Decoe waved his hands. "I do not get ideas, Doctor" Decoe says, "Good boy!" Dr. Eggman says before he patted Decoe's head with clanking and Decoe snickered a bit.

Back Outside, the Beatles were driving forward. "Where are they coming from, Doctor?" Bocoe asked off screen. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he looked at the Beatles and the Beatles stopped driving.

Inside one of the Beatle, the G.U.N soldiers were ready to take action. "Beetle 1 to Beetle 2 and 3, we're in position" the first G.U.N Soilder says, "Hang on! Sonic's in the line of fire" the second G.U.N solider says.

Back outside in the area where G.U.N was in Station Square, the announcement was heard from the speakers. "Sonic, this is an official government operation! Please stand aside!" the second G.U.N soldier says from the speaker off screen.

Back outside where the Beatles are, one of the Beatles shined a light. "I repeat, stand aside! We are launching an attack..." the second G.U.N solider says from the speaker off screen, "Attack? But my friends Chris and Steven are trapped inside there!" Sonic says as he didn't notice another Beatle driving forward. "Whoa! Ahh!" Sonic says as he turns towards the Beatle that was closer

Back inside a Beatle, the second G.U.N solider wasn't gonna listen. "We can't waste time. Open Fire!" the second G.U.N solider says.

Back outside, a Beatle position itself and began to shoot at the Eggfort II, causing electricity to fly out on the Eggfort II.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Chris gasped as they saw this. This also made Steven stir a bit. "Those fools! How dare they attack me!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside, Sonic tries to stop the Beatles as he gets in their way. "You gotta listen! My friends, Chris and Steven are..." Sonic says before he was cut off by the fire power and screams while shielding himself from the dust. The fire powers shoot at the Eggfort II, making an explosion. Sonic recovers, looks up and shouts. "Chris! Steven!" Sonic says. The smoke slowly cleared and the Eggfort II had a shield up before the shield disappeared.

Back inside the Eggfort II, Steven woke up as he heard the explosion. "Huh!? Wha!? Huh?" Steven asked before he looked around and saw himself chained against the wall. Chris then looked to the left and saw Steven. "Steven" Chris says as he whispered. "Huh?" Steven asked before he turns to Chris. "Chris, what happened? Where are we?" Steven asked as he whispered. "You got electrocuted and passed out. Now we're being held hostage in Eggman's ship" Chris says, "Held hostage? But what about the Chaos Emeralds?" Steven asked, "Eggman has them" Chris says. Steven gasped before he saw the shock collar around his neck. Steven grunted as he tried to budge a bit while trying to not be loud. "My, my, that was a close one" Dr. Eggman says, "It is a good thing we put the Egg Shield up in time" Bocoe says, "Next time, we may not be so lucky" Decoe says before Dr. Eggman raises his fists and looks at Decoe. "Quiet! Don't you mention THAT traitor again, you hear?" Dr. Eggman asked before he looks forward. "Now, let me see... How can I get my Chaos Emerald back?" Dr. Eggman asked. Steven's grunts were then heard off screen. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe turn around to see Steven struggle to get off the chained wall. "Well look who's finally awake" Dr. Eggman says and laughs before Steven looks at Dr. Eggman. "Dr. Eggman, when I get my hands on you, you're gonna get it! You hear me!?" Steven asked, "As much as I like to see you try, I can't have that happen right now. I have to make sure my plan goes exactly as it's suppose to go. After all, If it wasn't for you being so naive like that knucklehead, you and the kid here wouldn't be here, you'd still have the Chaos Emeralds and I wouldn't be enjoying this very moment right now. What a gullible rat you are" Dr. Eggman says and laughs off screen while Steven looked angry. Steven grunted loud as he tried hard to break loose, but suddenly, the shock collar went off and Steven screamed as he got electrocuted. "Steven!" Chris says before the shock stops. Steven gasped for air as the burned marks were becoming visible little by little. "You better behave your self, hedgehog or there's more where that came from" Dr. Eggman says before Bocoe notices something. "Doctor, look at this!" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman looks at Bocoe. "At what?" Dr. Eggman asked. The monitor shows the Beatles from outside. "This is the inside of their robot..." Bocoe says off screen before the screen turns into an X-Ray and it shows the inside of the Beatles. "It is just like yours, Doctor!" Decoe says off screen, "How dare those underhanded hoodlums steal my ingenious robot designs to use in that revolting inferior eyesore hunk-of-junk monstrosity!" Dr. Eggman says while Decoe lifting three pictures that had E-18 Guerra-Hard, E-90 Super Sweeper and another E-Series robot while sweat dropping. "I'll show that gang of sneak thieves what happens when THEY cross Dr. Eggman!" Dr. Eggman says while Steven tried to ignore the pain on his body.

Back outside, the Egg Fort II was activating turrets. "Please, Doctor, do not be rash. Lucky is inside there" Bocoe says off screen, "Don't worry about him. With his dumb luck, he'll come out without a scratch" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "I would not count on it" Decoe says off screen.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman was ready. "FIRE!" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh no!" Steven says.

Back outside, the Eggfort II fires it's turrets and missiles at the Beatles with explosions. E-77 Lucky beeped and ran in panic. More missles fly down while Sonic ran and dodged them. "Hey! Cool it, Eggman, somebody might get hurt!" Sonic says.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman heard Sonic. "That was the idea! Launch Egg Beam Cannonball of light!" Dr. Eggman says while Steven continued moving around.

Back outside, the Eggfort II's cannon fired a huge blast straight down to the ground. This caused a big explosion to happen with everything incinerating. "Haha! Looks like that one did the trick!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back inside the Eggfort II, Steven gasped as he saw the explosion. "Don't you think it's a bit too much?" Decoe asked, "One of these days you are going to blow the whole planet!" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman looks to the left a bit. "It's a distinct possibility, Decoe and Bocoe, but I'd rather do that than have Sonic get those emeralds from me" Dr. Eggman says, "No wonder" Decoe says before Steven started to growl.

Back outside, E-77 Lucky was flying away as it beeped.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman grunted a bit. "Oh?" Dr. Eggman asked, "That voice..." Decoe says, "It was Lucky!" Bocoe says, "Lucky? He's out there...?" Steven asked in his head. "Not that backward bumbling bad luck charm again!" Dr. Eggman says before the monitor shows the Beatles still in good shape with smoke around them. "The enemy aircraft and not a single scratch" Decoe says off screen, "The Doctor really knows how to build a good ship, unfortunately" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman rubs his head. "I wonder if it's possible to be too much of a genius for your own good" Dr. Eggman says, "I wonder what happened to..." Decoe says before the monitor changed to Sonic looking at the Eggfort II. "It's Sonic!" Chris says before Steven gasped a bit. "Sonic!" Steven says, "That answered my question" Decoe says, "How could that hedgehog survive the Egg Beam Cannonball? I so hate this part about anime" Dr. Eggman says, "Anime...?" Steven asked in his head. "It looks like you missed but what about the anime?" Bocoe asked before Dr. Eggman faces him while pointing his finger up. "I'll have you know, the Egg Beam Cannonball is engineered to hit the bull's eye every time. So it seems that if good children watch this, what will they think?" Dr. Eggman asked before Decoe sweat drops a bit. "They will think that missiles and the beam of light are useless. Also, Sonic is a hedgehog, not a bull" Decoe says before Dr. Eggman faces Decoe. "Well, I don't know about THAT, but I'll try to forget you said that" Dr. Eggman says, "Why does everyone keep saying how all this is in a TV show that's called "Sonic X"? Now they're talking about a subject that's called "Anime"? I've really gotta get out of here because all this is already giving me a headache..." Steven says in his head before E-77 Lucky's beeps were heard from the monitors. "There's no time to waste. We have to retrieve our boy Lucky and get that 7th Chaos Emerald before Sonic does!" Dr. Eggman says, "Yes, Doctor!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time before they saluted. "No you don't!" Steven says before he tried to get loose of the chained.

Back outside, the Eggfort II starts to fly away with Sonic watching. "Uh oh! Eggman's on a mission to get that Chaos Emerald. Not if I can help it!" Sonic says in his head before he runs after it.

Back inside the Beatle, the G.U.N soilders saw the Eggfort II flying off. "It looks like the Eggfort is on the move again" the first G.U.N solider says, "We got him covered" the second G.U.N solider says.

Back outside, the Beatle drive forward.

Back inside the Beatles, the G.U.N soldiers were about to do something else. "All right, gentlemen. It is now take off time with high-speed mode! CHANGE!" the second G.U.N says.

Back outside, the Beatles began to take off in the sky.

Back with E-77 Lucky, it beeped in panic as it continued floating and flying away.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Chris saw E-77 Lucky while Steven continued moving around. "Oh, dear, I didn't know Lucky could fly so high" Dr. Eggman says, "How will we ever catch him!?" Bocoe asked, "What if he drops the emerald, Doctor?" Decoe asked before Chris faces them. "That emerald doesn't belong to you anyway!" Chris says before Decoe turns to Chris. "Speak only when spoken to!" Decoe says, "Come on! Get loose already!" Steven says and yells in his head.

Back outside, Sonic was running before Dr. Eggman laughs off screen. "Right... if there's no X-Tornado, we can lose Sonic" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the Beatles fly next to Sonic. "Now's my chance" Sonic says before he jumps from one Beatle to another and makes another jump in the air.

Back inside the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman and Bocoe were looking on there left while Chris and Decoe argue and taunt at each other from behind them and Steven still moving around. "Wow. That was quite a jump!" Bocoe says and Dr. Eggman grunted while Decoe poked Chris' head a bit. "How low-minded!" Dr. Eggman says, "I said knock it off!" Decoe says.

Back outside, Sonic speeds up on a Beatle and makes a powerful jump towards the Eggfort II.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe gasped as they look to where Sonic was going. "Sonic!" Chris says, "Huh?" Steven asked before he looks forward. "We are in trouble!" Decoe says while looking nervous. "Ahh! What if he gets that Chaos Emerald away from Lucky?" Dr. Eggman asked as he freaked out. "That would be very unlucky!" Bocoe says as he freaked out.

Back outside, Sonic was decending towards E-77 Lucky while E-77 Lucky beeped nervously. Sonic then catches E-77 Lucky with E-77 Lucky had tears in it's eyes. "Gotcha!" Sonic says before he noticed how scared E-77 Lucky was. "Just relax. I'm your friend, little guy. I'm not gonna hurt you. But that Chaos Emerald you found is really important to me and my friends, so I'm gonna take it off your hands" Sonic says before he winked. Sonic then noticed Steven's name on E-77 Lucky's back. "Ah. I see your Steven's friend then. Then any friend of Steven is a friend of mine, buddy" Sonic says. E-77 Lucky then formed hearts in it's eyes. E-77 Lucky felt like it was in love when a giant heart formed around it and Sonic with a pink background with bubbles flying around.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman and Bocoe looked shocked while Chris smiled nervously. "He loves him..." Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman faces him "Look carefully!" Dr. Eggman says before he faces forward. Steven smiled a bit at the moment before getting back to trying to get loose off the chained wall.

Back outside, Sonic and E-77 Lucky were not seen anywhere. "That robot will fall down into the sea. It's Lucky... Wait! What's he doing? Why is he flying away?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen as E-77 Lucky flaps it's wings and flies with Sonic holding on. "Hey! This is kind of fun! All right!" Sonic says as E-77 Lucky beeped.

Back inside the bridge of the Eggfort II, Dr. Eggman wasn't happy. "There goes your lucky robot, Doctor" Bocoe says, "He may be lucky, but he is not very loyal" Decoe says, "Be quiet!" Dr. Eggman says, causing Decoe and Bocoe to be pushed back. "He dares to betray me, does he...!? I'll show that traitorous tin can not to mess with me!" Dr. Eggman says, "Doctor, are you thinking what I think you are thinking...?" Bocoe asked nervously, "I think that is what he is thinking..." Decoe says nervously, "Good thinking!" Dr. Eggman said before his glasses shined a bit. "For the first time... I, the great Dr. Eggman, will transform the Egg Fort II into the greatest robot ever created!" Dr. Eggman says before he gets closer to the readers. "I was saving it for a special occasion, but why put it off any longer? After all, I'm feeling lucky!" Dr. Eggman says while pointing forward. Steven then looked shocked. "Oh no!" Steven says in his head.

Eyecatch Cards

E-99 EGG EMPEROR

Then suddenly, Dr. Eggman appeared in front of the Eyecatch Card. "I'm sorry..." Dr. Eggman says before he stands up straight. "Get ready. Begin Egg Fort II TRANSFORMATION!!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time.

Back outside, Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang split apart from the merge. "Merge mode Bang!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before Bang transformed. "Merge mode BaBang!" Decoe says off screen before BaBang transformed. "Merge mode BaBaBang!" Bocoe says off screen before BaBaBang. Bang, BaBang and BaBaBang combined together again and formed into a giant robot named E-99 Egg Emperor. Dr. Eggman then laughs off screen while Sonic and E-77 Lucky sweat drop from the ground docks. "Say hello to my last ultimate robot creation... the Egg Emperor!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Is that even popular anymore?" Sonic asked and E-77 Lucky beeped a bit. E-99 Egg Emperor then lands in the water with a huge splash. This caused E-99 Egg Empeor and Sonic to get wet while a fish flaps around next to Sonic. "My, my...Bet you think you're pretty impressive, don't you? You may be big and strong, but I bet you don't move as I do" Sonic says before he started running all around E-99 Egg Emperor. "Hehe! Come on, Egg-head! What are you waiting for!?" Sonic asked off screen.

Inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman turns towards Chris and Steven a bit. "Oh, dear, he certainly is impatient, isn't he? But I say, why rush into things?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen before vault holding the 6 Chaos Emeralds appeared. This caused Chris and Steven to look shocked. "The six Chaos Emeralds!" Chris says, "You wouldn't!" Steven says, "Don't worry... I'm keeping them safe and sound for future use... In the meantime" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the Green Chaos Emerald was set on the machine and glowed. "I'll transfer a bit of energy from each emerald into the Egg Emperor..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before the monitor scanned Sonic. "...So it can grow stronger" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the Red Chaos Emerald was set. The monitor then beeped as it had a lock on Sonic. This made Dr. Eggman laugh while Chris and Steven looked shocked. "Guess the Egg Emperor's got him on the run, eh, kids?" Dr. Eggman asked before Chris had a bit of tears in his eyes. "He's using the Chaos Emeralds to beat Sonic and it's all my fault" Chris says in his head. "It's all my fault... It's all my fault... I believed everything Dr. Eggman said and because of that, it's gonna be over for all of us! I'm sorry Chris... I'm sorry Sonic... I'm sorry everyone. I have failed you all. I don't deserve to be the hero you all know!" Steven says in his head before he closed his eyes. The 6 Chaos Emeralds then glowed in the machine. "Ah, I'm sorry!" Chris says before he closes his eyes with tears. Steven then opened his eyes. "SONIC, LOOK OUT!" Steven says before he tried to moving a lot more and it caused Steven to get electrocuted again with him screaming.

Back outside, Sonic jumped and charged at E-99 Egg Emperor before E-99 Egg Emperor disappeared. "Huh?" Sonic asked before E-99 Egg Emperor appeared form behind Sonic and punched Sonic.

Sonic moans before he crashed into three buildings in a row.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman, Chris and Steven saw this. "Sonic!" Chris and Steven said at the same time, "That... thing packs quite a punch!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back with, he was seen on the wall with cuts on him. "Mmm. Yeah, he's got a good right hook" Sonic says.

Back inside the bridge of the E-99 Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman heard Sonic. "Sonic had better surrender. With six Chaos Emeralds to power him, my boy is unbeatable!" Dr. Eggman says before Chris looks at Dr. Eggman. "Please, Dr. Eggman, let Sonic go free!" Chris says before Dr. Eggman faces Chris a bit. "I'm afraid I can't do that just yet, so sorry" Dr. Eggman says, "Dr. Eggman, stop before something else happens! Anything you do with those Chaos Emeralds can cause an effect that not even you can stop or control!" Steven says while he continued moving and ignoring the pain. Then suddenly, there was a noise. "Ahh" Dr. Eggman and Chris said at the same time as they looked forward.

Back outside, E-99 Egg Emperor was teleporting everywhere.

Back with Sonic, he saw this. "Darn it!" Sonic says before he jumps off the wall and charges at E-99 Egg Emperor, but E-99 Egg Emperor slams Sonic to the ground with a crash and Sonic groans. Then suddenly, X-Tornado was flying close to the docks. "We're coming, Sonic!" Tails says off screen. "Quick, Tails, do something!" Amy says off screen.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails looked nervous. "The X Tornado can't do much of anything now... Not without a Chaos Emerald..." Tails says, "All right! I guess I'll have to take care of that hunk of junk myself!" Amy says.

Back outside, the X-Tornado continues flying. "Hold on!" Tails says off screen before he moves the X Tornado over, causing him, Amy, Cream and Cheese to scream as the Beatles flew pass them. The Beatles then fly towards E-99 Egg Emperor. "Target in sight!" the G.U.N solider says off screen before E-99 Egg Emperor disappears again. "What the!?" the G.U.N solider asked off screen before E-99 Egg Emperor appears from behind and destroys all the Beatles with black smoke flying around. "The... The Beatles... They've been wiped out" the G.U.N solider says off screen.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Steven gasped while Decoe, Bocoe and Dr. Eggman looked nervous. "No..." Steven says before Bocoe looks at Dr. Eggman. "Wow. He really is powerful, isn't he!?" Bocoe asked before Decoe faces Dr. Eggman. "Good thing he is on our side!" Decoe says, "Even I'm impressed..." Dr. Eggman says, "Eggman!" Sonic says off screen and everyone looks to the left a bit.

Back outside, Sonic was limping while holding his left arm. "Listen up... I'm coming for Chris and Steven... And you better not try to stop me..." Sonic says before falls on his knees.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, they continue watching. "How could Sonic survive a pounding like that?" Bocoe asked, "I don't get it. He ought to be eggsterminated by now!" Decoe says, "So he should. That hedgehog is much more resilient than I thought..." Dr. Eggman says, "I'm coming, Chris and Steven!" Sonic says off screen, "Sonic, get out of there!" Steven says, "He sure is a glutton for punishment..." Dr. Eggman says before a light shined rainbow and E-99 Egg Emperor began to shake, making everyone scream.

Back outside, E-99 Egg Emperor stands up straight before it glows. "What's going on? Egg Emperor, quit wasting power, will you? We must conserve between battles!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic grunted and jumps away from a punch from E-99 Egg Emperor who was now shining gold. E-99 Egg Emperor then punched Sonic to the ground. E-99 Egg Emperor then started punching where Sonic was many times.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Chris screams. "SONIC!" Chris says as he tried to break free. "SONIC! NO!" Steven says while moving roughly before getting electrocuted again with him screaming.

Back outside, the Military Chopper was flying above E-99 Egg Emperor.

Inside the Military Chopper, Topaz was behind the pilot while Rouge watched from the back while sweat dropping. "Can't you move in a bit closer?" Topaz asked, "No way, it's too dangerous" the pilot says, "To collect so many Chaos Emeralds... There's really no way" Rouge says.

Back outside the Military Chopper, Knuckles was watching everything from the wheel. "Think, Knuckles, think..." Knuckles says in his head.

E-99 Egg Emperor then picks Sonic up as Sonic wasn't awake or moving. "SONIC!" Chris and Steven said at the same time off screen.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Chris grunted as he had tears in his eyes before yelling. "SONIC! SONIC!" Chris says. Steven screamed while confined getting electrocuted. "SONIC!" Steven and Chris said at the same time off screen while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe look at them with a gasped and sweat dropping. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe then face forward. "All right... Egg Emperor, enough fooling around. Drop him already!" Dr. Eggman says, "GOOD IDEA!" Decoe says.

Back outside, E-99 Egg Emperor lets go of Sonic and sends a powerful kick to Sonic.

Back inside E-99 Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe scream and huddle. Chris groans as he saw this. Steven gasped as he just watched in shocked as while continueing getting electrocuted "Sonic..." Steven says in his head before passing. A few tears then dropped from his eyes and land on to the ground.

Dr. Eggman says and gasped as Chris ran pass him and grabbed the Purple Chaos Emerald. Chris grunted and screamed as the Purple Chaos Emerald burned his hand. "My emeralds!" Dr. Eggman says before glass shattering was heard and Chris grabbed all 6 Chaos Emeralds while flying down. Chris then crashes on the ground before groaning. "They're mine, mine. I won't... I won't let you take them away from me..." Chris says before he brings the 6 glowing Chaos Emeralds closer to his chest. "Ever again... Ever..." Chris says, "That mealymouthed little crybaby shouldn't be so reckless. After all, those emeralds are powering the Egg Emperor. And without them, this thing would be sent plummeting into the sea" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe faces Dr. Eggman while rubbing the back of his head. "It is interesting, Doctor" Decoe says while Steven was seen not moving at all. "As a matter of fact, we should be plummeting any moment now" Dr. Eggman says off screen before Decoe stands up. "Hey wait, if we cut off the switch that connects Lucky to the Chaos Emerald, then..." Decoe asked before Dr. Eggman grabs Decoe. "What the heck are you talking about!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Sorry, Doctor!" Decoe says.

Back outside, Knuckles jumps off the Chopper and flies towards at E-99 Egg Emperor

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, glass shattered from above and Knuckles crashes inside while grunting. "Where are Chris and Steven? I'm taking them with me" Knuckles says before Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe looked nervous. "Well, if it isn't our good friend, Knuckles. How nice of you to drop in on us for a visit" Dr. Eggman says before Knuckles slams his fist against the ground, causing Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe to be more nervous and huddle. "He's angry" Bocoe says, "He feels responsible" Decoe says before Knuckles stands up while smiling. "They're coming with me, and that's that" Knuckles says before he closes his eyes. "Ha" Knuckles says.

Back outside, Knuckles continued off screen while E-99 Egg Emperor was standing still. "I said, where are they? What did you do with Chris and Steven?" Knuckles asked off screen before it revealed Rouge holding Chris and the 6 Chaos Emeralds in her arms while giggling. "Enough emeralds for a whole necklace and maybe some magic earrings" Rouge says in her head. "Sonic. Sonic. Let me go" Chris says, "No way. Not after all the trouble I went through" Rouge says, "Sonic!" Chris says before he squirmed in Rouge's arms, causing Rouge to drop Chris and the 6 Chaos Emeralds. "Ahh! Oh no!" Rouge says off screen as Chris and the Six Chaos Emeralds were about to hit the ocean. "He made me drop my Chaos Emeralds! Ah!" Rouge says before she dives down. The 6 Chaos Emeralds then crashed into the water one by one before Rouge caught Chris. Rouge then looks at Chris. "Oh, well, there goes my new jewelry" Rouge says before E-99 Egg Emperor appeared from behind and grabbed Chris and Rouge. Rouge than moans and yells. "Gee, oh wow!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles looked outside while Steven was still passed out.

Inside Steven's memory, it showed himself on all the adventures that he, Sonic and everyone else have been though ever since teleported to Earth to now being held hostage on E-99 Egg Emperor. "I'm so sorry... Chuck... Cream... Cheese... Tails... Amy... Knuckles... Mr. Tanaka... Ella... Danny... Frances... Rouge... Topaz... Mr. President... Jerome... Helen... Hawk... Nelson... Lindsey... Sam... Lucky... Chris... Sonic... ... ... I'm so sorry, everyone..." Steven says in his head.

Back to reality inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Steven suddenly was whimpering and shaking a bit. "The Eggsterminator is malfunctioning" Dr. Eggman says before sparks fly out from the ground. "And it's all because of that thieving brat" Dr. Eggman says while Steven slowly shaked a bit faster. "I... have... failed... you... all..." Steven says in his head before his whimpering then slowly became a growl. "That's right" Decoe says, "We have a problem now" Bocoe says before Steven started whimpering a bit louder. Knuckles then closes his eyes and clenches his fists. "Where's Chris and Steven?" Knuckles asked off screen before Steven bean to shake rapidly. Steven then opened his eyes wide and his eyes were yellow again, but this time they didn't change back to normal and stayed yellow. Steven then made noises a bit louder.

Inside E-99 Egg Empor's fist, Rouge and Chris were inside while Rouge was pushing the fingers away a bit. "Ah, you're awfully fresh" Rouge says before E-99 Egg Emperor tightens the grip, making Rouge groan. "No!" Rouge says.

Back outside, X-Tornado then flies above E-99 Egg Emperor. "We're comin', Chris and Steven!" Tails says off screen.

Back inside bridge of the E-99 Egg Emperor, Steven's fists slowly clenched tightly and he started glowing with a yellow aura around him. Steven's head shook before he yelled loud and it caused the whole room to shake uncontrollably. This got Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles' attention as they turn around to look at Steven. They all gasped while Steven continue glowing, screaming and shaking. The shock color went off on Steven, but it didn't do anything. Then a yellow light shot out from Steven and out of E-99 Egg Emperor.

Back outside, the yellow light shot out from the E-99 Egg Emperor as the X-Tornado flew above it.

Back inside the X-Tornado, everyone looked to where the yellow light flew. "What was that!?" Chuck asked.

Back outside, the Military Chopper also flew above the yellow light.

Back inside the Military Chopper, Topaz and the pilot looked where the yellow light flew as well. "Did you see that!?" Topaz asked, "What's going on in there now!?" the pilot asked.

Back inside the bridge of the E-99 Egg Emperor, the yellow light stopped and a strong wind blew everywhere. This made Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles shield themselves while they groan. Steven continues shaking before the yellow aura changes to a green aura. This caused another burst of wind happened and the whole room shakes more. Steven continued growling as his face had veins all over. Steven then shouted loud again before another burst of wind blows all over the place. "What is happening, doctor!?" Decoe asked, "Why is Steven acting like that!?" Bocoe asked, "I don't know! I've never seen anything like it before!" Dr. Eggman says while Steven continued shouting with everything still shaking. Steven continued getting electrocuted again, but it wasn't effective anymore. Then suddenly, Steven faced forward and opens his mouth wide open. A green energy ball was then created from his mouth and it shot forward.

Back outside, the green energy ball shoot it's way all the way to the sky. Then the green energy ball exploded in the sky with a huge vibration happening on Earth.

Back inside the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado shakes while Tails and Chuck look up. "Whoa! If that blast hit the ground, who knows what it could've done!" Tails says.

Back inside the bridge of the E-99 Egg Emperor, Steven continued yelling and shaking with electricity flying all around him before the green aura around him was charging up a bit. Then suddenly, the shock collar blew up and black smoke flew out of it. Steven's whole body then started to increase in bulk and height each second, making Steven reach up to Dr. Eggman's neck in height. As Steven''s bulk and height increased, it caused the bolted straps to rip out and fly out. Steven's quills then started to grow longer and new ones started to grow out from all over his head. Steven's legs, arms and chest went bulk and it has caused some ripping on his clothing to happen. Steven's fists then shook and his hand's also increased bulk with his gloves completely ripped. Steven's fingers then grew out nails that were sharp. Steven's shoes also completely ripped off as his feet increased and his feet grew nails that became sharp. Steven's quills started rising up and they also got sharper. Then finally, Steven's teeth started to turn into fangs with sharpness in them. Steven's face then shape-shifted a bit a bit. After everything else, Steven then flexed his muscles and it caused the shock collar to be destroyed into pieces with the pieces flying all over the bridge. After the whole change was completed, Steven growled once more while his yellow eyes shined a bit. Steven then lets out shout roar. The shout roar caused the entire E-99 Egg Emperor to shake again. Knuckles, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe gasped in shock as they looked at Steven.

Back outside, the shouted roar was heard like an echo.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails, Chuck, Amy, Cream and Cheese gasped from the echoed shouted roar.

Back inside the Military Chopper, Topaz and the pilot gasped too from the echoed shouted roar.

Back inside E-99 Egg Emperor's fist, Rouge gasped and Chris gasped a little bit from the shouted roar.

Back in Station Square where G.U.N were, all the G.U.N soldiers gasped from the echoed shouted roar.

Back at Station Square with Danny, Frances and Helen, they along with everyone in Station Square gasped from the echoed shouted roar. "Steven..." Helen says slowly. This made everyone including Frances and Danny to look at her in shock.

Back outside at the battle, the echoed shouted roar slowly stopped.

Back inside the bridge of the E-99 Egg Emperor, Steven was growling as he glared at everything around him. Steven was now in a state which is known as Ikari. The Ikari state has caused Steven to be known as Wrathful Steven. Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles continue looking at Wrathful Steven with shock and nervousness. "Whoa..." Knuckles says, "Dr. Eggman, what happened to Steven...?" Decoe asked, "Why does he look like he's gonna destroy something at any second...?" Bocoe asked before Wrathful Steven roared a bit. "I'm not sure. But it looks as though Steven's managed to transform somehow into a state that can only be unlocked from the power of Fury or Rage" Dr. Eggman says while Wrathful Steven growled and roared as he moved around a bit. "Only I don't know what exactly caused him to transform into this. Even in a fragile emotion, it shouldn't be possible for someone to have that kind of power and strength to be unlocked just like that. It's like he was possessed with an incredible amount of power that he didn't know he had in him that can increase his speed, agility, strength, intelligence and force by a ten full" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "And is there a downside?" Bocoe asked off screen, "Maybe. A big one" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Huh?" Decoe and Bocoe asked at the same time before looking at Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman then sighs. "It looks like he can't control it. He's lost all sense of who, what he is and the consequences that he will soon have to face if this goes on for too long" Dr. Eggman says. Wrathful Steven then faced Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe and roared up close to their faces, making them scream in fright before Wrathful Steven started smashing everything inside E-99 Egg Emperor with his fists, legs, claws and mouth. "I've got to stop this quickly!" Dr. Eggman says before he pressed a button from the table.

At another part inside E-99 Egg Emperor, a lot of E-Series robots began driving and flying through the halls.

Back at the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Wrathful Steven continued shouting before the E-Series Robots enter the bridge and start firing at Wrathful Steven. Wrathful Steven roared before attacking and smashing a lot of the E-Series robots. This caused the entire inside of E-99 Egg Emperor to shake more while Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles take cover from it all.

Back outside, E-99 Egg Emperor was shaking with explosions happening from inside and appearing from outside.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Wrathful Steven continued smashing everything while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe look up a bit. Dr. Eggman then gasped. "He doesn't look like he's taken any damage at all!" Dr. Eggman says before Wrathful Steven glowed green and jumped out of E-99 Egg Emperor.

Back outside, Wrathful Steven flew around and started smashing everything around the outside of E-99 Egg Emperor. E-99 Egg Emperor tried to attack Wrathful Steven, but Wrathful Steven was too quick to hit, making Wrathful Steven mostly dodge and fight back. Some flying E-Series robots flew and fired at Wrathful Steven, but Wrathful Steven threw pieces of debris and green energy blast Wrathful Steven aimed both the debris and green energy blast at the E-Series robots and destroyed them in the process. Wrathful Steven continued smashing and ripping pieces out of E-99 Eggsterminator and threw them in the air. The X-Tornado then flew above everything that was going on.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Amy noticed a debris was about to hit them and gasped.

Back outside, the debris was about to hit the X-Tornado. "Tails, look out!" Amy says off screen before a piece of debris was about to hit the X Tornado, but the X Tornado moved out the way just in time. The others began to shout in fright as more debris and green energy blasts were flying everywhere while the X Tornado dodged them.

Back inside the X-Tornado, everyone was looking at the action. "I can't believe how incredible Steven is. It's insane" Tails says, "Yes, but at the same time, this is not right. He's too blinded with anger" Chuck says as he saw Wrathful Steven keep smashing everything while roaring. Tails looks at Wrathful Steven before gasping. "Wait a minute..." Tails says.

A flashback shows Steven having his moments related to him turning to Wrathful Steven from him adventuring with Helen to now.

Back to reality, Tails remembered it all. "That's it!" Tails says, "What is it?" Chuck asked, "I think Steven's current state is connected to those moments he had back on our adventures" Tails says, "Really?" Amy asked.

Back outside, Wrathful Steven continued rampaging. "Yeah, whenever Steven gets really angry, his quills go up, his forehead shadowed a bit and he talks like he means it. Me and Chris saw this when we were trying to stop those men that were building the dam back at the Savanna. As for this kind of power, it all explains how Steven's more than capable of anything and doesn't get too hurt from the process" Tails says off screen, "Are you saying that after everything Steven's been through to be a hero, he had that state inside of him this whole time?" Cream asked off screen and Cheese chirped off screen, "Maybe. Everything Steven's been through could have possibly been the beginning for this awakening to trigger from inside Steven and Steven must have been fighting it off from it actually happening. But now after what's been happening around here, it must have given a huge wake up call from inside Steven" Tails says off screen, "But do you happen to know what this is exactly, Tails?" Chuck asked off screen, "Sorry, Chuck, but I don't. Steven probably doesn't know either. But whatever it is, it must be some type of mutation that can cause a bio chemical reaction from inside when Steven gets really angry sometimes. So whatever this is, it could possibly be related to Steven's true origins on what he could possibly be" Tails says off screen, "But what could it be?" Amy asked off screen, "I don't know, but either way, it's really scary and dangerous on how it plays out" Tails says off screen while Wrathful Steven continued shouting and being destructive.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Cream and Cheese looked sad. "Poor Steven. He's not the Steven we all know anymore" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "How horrible. Eggman having hostages and turning one of them turn into a monster that used to be a nice Hedgehog we all know and love" Amy says, "Now he's forgotten everything about who he is" Chuck says, "I wish there was a way we could help him" Tails says before closing his eyes.

Back outside, the Military Chopper dodged the debris and green energy blasts.

Back inside the Military Chopper, Topaz and the pilot continued watching. "I don't know what to say. Steven's on a whole new level and he can't seem to control himself anymore" Topaz says, "That hedgehog sure is something else" the pilot says.

Back inside E-99 Egg Emperor's fist, Rouge can hear all the roaring and rampaging. "Steven..." Rouge says while Chris stirs a bit.

Back outside, Wrathful Steven began to fly towards the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Wrathful Steven landed inside a roar. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe to scream as Wrathful Steven walks towards them with heavy steps and growls. Wrathful Steven then picks them up and throws against the green wall. Wrathful Steven then went close to Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe and began attacking them with Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe yelling in pain. Wrathful Steven roared and charged up with another green aura around him. Knuckles watched in shock. "No... No! If this keeps up, Steven will not only hurt Eggman, but he'll kill him and then himself too! As much as I can't stand Eggman and his bucket of bolt brains, I can't let that happen! I have to stop this right now!" Knuckles says before he grunted and jumped. Knuckles grabbed on Wrathful Steven's back and tried to get a good grip on Wrathful Steven's neck. Wrathful Steven roared as he felt Knuckles on his back and tried to get him off by reaching out towards Knuckles or smashing his back against walls. Knuckles grunted as he felt the wall slams. Wrathful Steven then picked up some debris and hits Knuckles with it while Knuckles continued grunting. Wrathful Steven then picked up a huge debris and hits Knuckles off Wrathful Steven's back. This caused Knuckles to yell in pain and crash on the ground. Knuckles tried to sit up while Wrathful Steven continued roaring off screen. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe scream off screen and Knuckles was about to take action again until the roaring calmed down a bit. Knuckles slowly turns around to see Wrathful Steven growling and making noise while looking at Knuckles. Knuckles saw that Wrathful Steven had Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe in a choke hold as he had them against the ground. Knuckles then slowly walked slowly to Wrathful Steven and Wrathful Steven roared a few times. "Steven... It's okay... It's me Knuckles... It's me Knuckles... It's okay..." Knuckles says slowly as he raised his hands up a bit. Wrathful Steven tried to calm down, but he kept roaring a bit more. "Steven, listen... I know things have gone down hill lately, but you have to calm down... This isn't you. This isn't the Steven I know. The Steven I know is determined to get stronger, learn new things everyday and being a hero to all. When I first met you, I thought you was just a kid, but you're not just a kid, Steven. You're someone more than just one thing. You're someone that's willing to do everything he can to help the ones you care about. You care about everyone on this world and everyone knows you're their hero too" Knuckles says before Wrathful Steven looked a bit confused. "You can still be everyone's hero, but you've got to relax. Please, Steven. Come back to us" Knuckles says off screen as Wrathful Steven was beginning to calm down. Then suddenly, a E-13 Guardbot appeared out of nowhere and fired at Wrathful Steven's back. Wrathful Steven closes his eyes and opened them again with an angry look and growl. Wrathful Steven yells and faced E-13 Guardbot and crushed it with his fists. Knuckles then backs away a bit. "That's just great! There's nothing we can do to stop Steven! He's too blinded with rage that not even my talk would make him snap out of it!" Knuckles says as Wrathful Steven continued shouting and smashing everything in sight. Knuckles then grunted a bit. "I'm sorry, Steven. I should have listened to you about Eggman. If I had, you wouldn't be like this right now and none of this would of happened. You're the closest friend I've ever had besides just Sonic and his friends. I've never thought it would go down this way. I'm so sorry..." Knuckles says in his head before he closed his eyes.

Back outside, The military Chopper and the X Tornado continue flying around.

Back inside the Military Chopper, Topaz looked nervous. "It's all over for us now..." Topaz says.

Back outside, a shining light shimmered in the ocean.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails and Chuck looked down to where the light was. "Ahh" Tails says, "Look! Could it be?" Chuck asked.

Back outside, the ocean formed a whirl pool with burbles. Then a yellow glow was coming out with a figure inside.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Amy, Cream and Cheese also watch. "Amy, I think it's Sonic!" Cream says, "Chao!" Cheese says, "It might be, but why is he glowing in gold?" Amy asked.

Back outside, Sonic was now transformed into Super Sonic. Super Sonic then opened his eyes and it caused E-99 Egg Emperor's wrist that had Rouge and Chris to shatter into pieces. This made Chris and Rouge grunt a bit.

Back inside the bridge of E-99 Egg Emperor, Knuckles took a few steps back as Wrathful Steven growled and walked towards Knuckles slowly. Before Wrathful Steven was about to strike, he stopped as he noticed a golden aura where Super Sonic was. Knuckles also turned around while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe recover a bit. "Doctor, something is happening. The Egg Emperor is losing its grip" Decoe says before Decoe and Bocoe look nervous. "This is not good. What do we do now, Doctor?" Bocoe asked, "We do nothing. Right at this very moment, those seven Chaos Emeralds are mingling together way down in the bottom of the sea. And with the way how things are turning out right now, the great moment has finally come" Dr. Eggman says, "Are you saying what I think you are saying?" Decoe asked, "Yes, I think that is what he is saying" Bocoe says, "Let Chaos Control begin" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside, Super Sonic smiled as he looked at E-99 Egg Emperor. E-99 Egg Emperor tried to attack Super Sonic with it's left first, but a bright light shines over Super Sonic. The light clears up and shows Super Sonic holding the fist with one hand. "Well, Knuckles, your wish came true. But I've got some unfinished business" Super Sonic says before he saw Knuckles jumping out the E-99 Egg Emperor while Wrathful Steven continued roaring inside. Super Sonic then looked a bit sad. "...I'm sorry, Steven..." Super Sonic says in his head before he was about to take action. "Take this, Eggman" Super Sonic says before he flew around and attacked E-99 Egg Emperor all over the place with explosions going off. E-99 Egg Emperor then exploded with Wrathful Steven roaring off screen. Then suddenly, a bright white light appeared and expanded. The light got bigger as it was filling up the entire area as some Military Choppers were flying away from the light, but they were slowly getting caught in it.

Back inside the Military Chopper, Topaz and the pilot saw this. "Oh, no! I think we're in Chaos Control" Topaz says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails and Chuck look at each other. "It's Chaos Control, Chuck, you'll be sent back with us" Tails says before Chuck closes his eyes. "Don't worry, it will be our pleasure!" Chuck says.

Back in Station Square, the bright light continued expanding and spreading all over the place. "Hey, look! Where's that light coming from?" Danny asked off screen, "Does this mean...they're going home?" Helen asked, "Oh, no...!" Frances says.

Back at the location where the light was expanding, it continued getting bigger and bigger.

At a white space with yellow circles flying around, Steven was seen back to normal while being unconscious. The quills that came from Wrathful Steven's transformation remained on Steven's head. This caused Steven's quills to give Steven a new look on his head. Steven also seemed to have little muscle bulks on his body now, making Steven more muscular. Steven stirred a bit before opening his eyes as he groan. Steven then sits up a bit. "Ugh... What... What happened?" Steven asked before he opens his eyes and looked at his clothes that were almost completely torn off along with injuries all over his body. Steven then held his head in pain. "Ow my head...!" Steven says before he felt the extra quills on his head. "Huh...? How did I grow new quills and how did my quills grow longer...?" Steven asked before he looks at his muscular figure. "Now I'm more muscular than before... What's going on here?" Steven asked before he gasped.

Back in Steven's memory, it showed the entire event that happened from the beginning to the end.

Back to reality, Steven's eyes went wide open before standing up. "Ow...!" Steven says as he fell down on his knee. Steven then slowly stands back up. "That's right! I remember it all! Oh no, Sonic! Chris! Anybody! Hello!?" Steven asked before he looks around the area. Steven looked around before he spotted a figure laying on the floor. Steven gets a closer look to reveal Chris unconscious. Steven then gasped again. "Chris!" Steven says before he was about to run, but shouted in pain as he tripped from a lot of muscle pain. Steven groans in pain before opening his eyes a bit. "Chris..." Steven says before he began crawling towards Chris while grunting. After a few seconds, Steven reached Chris. "Chris" Steven says before he looked at the condition Chris was in. Steven eyes then watered a bit. "Chris... I'm sorry... This is all my fault... It's my fault all this happened to you and everyone else... I'm so sorry..." Steven says before he closes his eyes. Then suddenly Super Sonic appeared in front of Steven and Chris. Steven opens his eyes before looking at Super Sonic and gasped. "Sonic!" Steven says and Super Sonic smiled. "Are you okay, Steven?" Super Sonic asked, "Sonic... I'm so sorry" Steven says. Super Sonic puts his hand on Steven's head. "Don't worry, Steven. Everything's gonna be alright now" Super Sonic says before looking at Chris. "Can you hear me, Pal...?" Super Sonic asked off screen. Chris moans before waking up a bit to see Super Sonic and Steven. "Chris..." Steven says, "Sonic... Steven..." Chris says, "We're finally going home… Thanks to you two, Chris and Steven" Super Sonic says. Steven stood still as he heard that. "Sonic, take me with you and Steven, please" Chris says before tears formed in his eyes. "I don't want to stay here, not without you or Steven" Chris says. Steven then had more tears fall out of his eyes. "Chris..." Steven says before he looks at Super Sonic. "Sonic, I'm sorry, but... is it possible that...?" Steven asked before Super Sonic bents down and raises his hand up. Super Sonic's hand glowed green and it caused Chris and Steven to be fully healed. Chris opened his eyes fully and smiled. "Ahh! Sonic! Steven!" Chris says before he hugged both Sonic and Steven. "Chris!" Steven says before he hugged Chris while Super Sonic hugged them with one arm and having his eyes closed. "It's gonna be okay, you two. I promise" Super Sonic says before Chris hugs Sonic and Steven tighter a bit. "Sonic, please don't leave! You and Steven are the best friends I ever had! I don't want you two to go away!" Chris says before he sobbed. "I don't want to leave you or everyone else either, Chris! To be honest, I wasn't ready to say goodbye either! Not like this!" Steven says before he sobbed a bit off screen. "I'll miss you both so much! Please don't go! Please" Chris says off screen, "Chris, you and Sonic have been the first and bests friends I've ever had in my entire life. I couldn't have asked for better friends than you two. Thank you for everything you've taught me about being a hero and a true friend!" Steven says off screen before he and Super Sonic slowly disappear with a sparkle before Steven's tears touched the floor. "Huh? Oh" Chris says before he touches the floor while tears kept going down from his face while sobbing. "Chris... Thank you" Super Sonic says off screen, "goodbye, my friend..." Steven says off screen. before Chris looks up. "You both can't go! Sonic! Steven!" Chris says in echoed before a bright light shines over him.

Back on Earth, Chris's echo was heard off screen. The bright light cleared a bit and it was cloudy and foggy around a forest land area. The X-Tornado then flew by.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

The forest land revealed to be Mystic Ruins near the docks where the entire battle took place with dark clouds around it.

Back with Knuckles, he was at Mystic Ruins and he was staring up at something with sparkles flying down. It revealed Angel Island floating in the sky with clouds around it.

Back with Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe, they were also in Mystic Ruins with Decoe and Bocoe moaning in a dizzy way while the Egg Mobile was next to them in a damaged state. Then suddenly, a piece of stone was next to Dr. Eggman and it had an ancient art that showed on what looked like a blue monster. Dr. Eggman then picks up the stone and looks at it closer.

At another part of Mystic Ruins, a silhouette was walking out of the fog. Chris looked at the silhouette with a smile on his face. "Huh?" Chris asked, "What is the meaning of this?" the President asked off screen, "We haven't verified anything yet but two large islands. Most likely the world where Sonic, Steven and the others used to live..." Christina says off screen as Sonic slowly walked out of the fog before giving a wink and thumbs up. "Hey, long time no see" Sonic says.

Back with Steven, he was on Angel Island while being passed out. Steven eventually woke up with a moan and looked around. "Am I back home...?" Steven asked before he looked at the sky. "Why is it so cloudy all of a sudden...?" Steven asked before standing up. Steven walked to the edge of Angel Island and looked down at Mystic Ruins. "Whoa..." Steven says as how high Angel Island was that they're clouds around the Island. "That's a long drop right there. But what is this place?" Steven asked.

Steven then walked around the area before he spotted the Master Emerald on the alter. "Is that... the Master Emerald?" Steven asked before he stepped close to the staircase and looked up. "It is. Then that means this is Angel Island. But how is it floating in the sky" Steven asked before looking around. "Hmm" Steven says before he made his way up the steps. As Steven got a closer look, the Master Emerald was glowing. Steven then shielded his eyes a bit. "Wow... I forgot how bright it was..." Steven says, "The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos... Feel within... The sea of Chaos. The young waters... May the light that controls power shine down for eternity and protect us" the female voice says off screen. "That voice again... I remember that voice when me and Knuckles got transported here from our adventure back in Oriental City. Now that voice said more so let's see here... "The servers are the seven Chaos." That means the Seven Chaos Emeralds. "Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart"..." Steven says.

A flashback plays of the 6 Chaos Emeralds glowing, E-99 Egg Emperor glowing orange and Super Sonic with Chris and Steven. "That could possible mean the Chaos Emerald's energy and their ability to turn anyone's thoughts into greater power. Just like what happened to E-99 Egg Emperor and Sonic" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continues. ""The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos."... Does that mean the Master Emerald has the ability to control the Chaos Emeralds?" Steven asked before he looked at the Master Emerald. "Hmm. Only one way to find out then" Steven says before he went closer to the Master Emerald. Steven hesitated before he puts his left hand on the Master Emerald. Steven gasped as he felt the power inside the Master Emerald. After a few seconds, Steven released his hand. "It does. It's so powerful that it's no wonder this island can float. So the Master Emerald is the reason how the Chaos Emeralds exist. I wonder how was the Master Emerald created and why are the Chaos Emeralds titled "Chaos." But anyway, let's see. "Feel within the sea of Chaos"... So the word or name "Chaos" is named after the ocean in our world?" Steven asked before he runs off.

Steven makes his way back to an edge and looked off Angel Island to see the ocean and waves. "Hmm... Maybe I would have to be under water to know. I'm gonna do some research about this" Steven says before he runs off again.

Back at the Master Emerald shrine, Steven made it back. "Now then, "The young waters"... I'm not too sure on what that means because water has been around for a long time. So unless this chant was created from the beginning of life everywhere, then these "Young Waters" can't be young anymore. Okay now. "May the light that controls power shine down for eternity and protect us"." Steven says.

Another flashback shows Chaos Control light spreading all over at the docks. "Could it be that Chaos Control represents the light to protect us...?" Steven asked off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continues. "It seems that way since everything is now calmed down, but still. These Chaos Emeralds work in mysterious ways"Steven says before he looked up at the cloudy sky. "Hmm... From what I heard back on Earth, humans go to these special places called a "Church". They have what they call a "Priest" to give a sermon and the humans pray to a god. This must be our version of a prayer to a god. So is this "Chaos" a god then? If it is, then was that Chaos talking and giving the chant?" Steven asked before he looked at the Master Emerald. "But why do I keep hearing this chant? Who or whatever this god Chaos is must be giving a warning on what might happen in the future. If it kept repeating "Chaos", then it must be have the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds involved. So the real question is, who exactly is Chaos?" Steven asked before he continued looking at the Master Emerald. "With all these questions in my head, I'll have to wait and see as well as be ready for anything when the time comes" Steven says before he walked down the steps. "It's gonna feel weird to be back home from where it all began, but I'll eventually get used to it since I'm more capable of doing more now. So no worries on that anymore" Steven says.

Steven made his way to the edge of Angel Island once again. But before Steven, could jump down, he suddenly noticed the docks where the battle took place. "Hold on, is that..." Steven says before he gets a better look at it. "It can't be... It is. Then that means... I'm still on Earth. But I thought the Chaos Emeralds were suppose to bring all of us back to our home world. Now it looks like some pieces from our home world were brought to Earth instead. The Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds really are complicated to figure out" Steven says before he gasped. "Wait! If I'm still here, then that means Sonic and everyone else are here too!" Steven says before he began to cheer by jumping around. "This is great! Now I'll see Chris, Chuck, Ella, Mr. Tanaka and everybody else again!" Steven says before he realized stopped as he realized something. "Wait a minute... That's right... I remember it all" Steven says before he rubs his head.

Another flashback plays with Steven as Wrathful Steven."I lost control over myself when I was so angry. I turned into a monster. Ready to destroy anything in sight without hesitation..." Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continues. "Whatever I just turned into must have been more dangerous than Dr. Eggman that's for sure" Steven says before he looked at his bare hand. "But for some reason, it's like de ja vu. It feels familiar likes it's part of who I am, but what is it exactly?" Steven asked before he ruffled his quills and new quills. "Also with the way how my quills grew extras and long is weird too. It must have been from when I transformed into that beast. It's like I got a new hair style now" Steven says before he shakes his hand, making the quills on his head to sway around. "But at the same time, these quills do look nice and cool. It gives me an older look. I think I''ll stick with this style from now on" Steven says before looking at his muscular figure. "I'm a little more muscular than before now. Guess that transformation must have made my muscles little visble now in my normal state. I'm probably a lot stronger than before now" Steven says before he looked at Mystic Ruins and at the docks before letting out a heavy sigh. "Today has just been a mixed of emotions with crazy, anger and sadness put together, but with lots of questions to find answers to. These are the things I'm gonna have to figure out on my own and It's not gonna be easy to achieve. Especially if Dr. Eggman is still out there somewhere. He'll be back on the hunt for the Chaos Emeralds again so it looks like the search for the Chaos Emeralds is back in action. I got my hands full now with new goals to add extra weight on it" Steven says before he smiles. "But then again, it will feel nice to see Chris, Sonic and everybody else again. It'll be like old times right before all this happened. Let's just hope that they don't see me any different from what I turned into. If it all works out fine, this could be a new start in my life in Station Square until we look for the Chaos Emeralds all over again and go home. Guess my stay on Earth has filed an extension" Steven says before he runs back a bit. "So whatever awaits me in time, this will be the start of a new chapter in my life!" Steven says before he runs and jumps off Angel Island and sky dives down towards Mystic Ruins as this was now the beginning of a new start for whatever awaits in the future of Steven the Hedgehog.
