Finally the day for Ash's battle against clay is arrived. In past four weeks he trained hard and had fun side by side. Though his pokemon didn't evolved but they become stronger that they were four weeks back.
Ash and his friends are now standing in front of the gym ready to challenge Clay.
"Let's do it pikachu, we will win the quake badge," said Ash gaining nod from the rodent
"So you are back for the badge, " said Clay from behind
"Yes, " said Ash
"Very well, come with me," said Clay
Few minutes later both Ash and Clay standing opposite to each other
"This is a four on four battle between gym leader clay and challenger Ash Ketchum from Pallet town in Kanto. No substitution allowed." said referee
Clay sends his first pokemon which is seismitoad and to battle him Ash sends his Servine
"Servine vs Seismitoad let the battle begin," said referee
"You have the first move kid," said Clay
"Servine let's start with the grassy terrain," said Ash as Servine glowed green making small grass grow on the battle field.
"Nice but not for long," said Clay
"Seismitoad start with rain dance," said Clay
"Not good, rain dance will activate both abilities of Seismitoad's. Rain dance will activate swift swim and water absorb" thought Ash
"Snivy use attract, " said Ash as it does the work, attract left Seismitoad with infatuation
"Now use seed bomb into magical leaf, and then leaf tornado, " said Ash. Consecutive grass type attacks deals good amount of damage.Few moments later Seismitoad is out of infactuation but damage is quite high
"Seismitoad use hyper voice to counter," said Clay and Ash is shocked to see that attract is a waste attack now
"Ok, Servine use leaf tornado," said Ash
"Defend yourself,use aqua ring and then hydro pump," said Clay
"Mirror coat," said Ash
Hydro pump connected with Servine who is outlined in pink energy making hydro pump send back at seismitoad.
"Wrong move kid," said Clay but Ash is smirking. Once hydro pump connected with Seismitoad, a wine enveloped it making it glow red.
"What's that," asked Clay
"Leech seed, now use full power leaf tornado" said Ash
As Seismitoad is struggling with leech seed, Servine launched leaf tornado dealing good amount of damage.
"Seismitoad , break it and use focus blast, " said Clay and as expected Seismitoad broke free from the energy draining vines and used focus blast.Servine then countered focus blast with energy ball which leads to small explosion sending shockwaves across the battle field.
"Seismitoad use," said clay but Servine already used bullet seed which strikes Seismitoad making it vulnerable to attacks
"Seismitoad use earth power," said Clay
"Use vine whip to jump and use seed bomb ," said Ash
Servine did as said by Ash, she jumped high in the air and used bullet seed.Bullet seed hit Seismotoad, but did less damage.
"What you thought kiddo, my pokemon developed resistance to their weakness
"Use solar beam," said Ash
"Before it could finish charging use ice beam," said Clay but he was shocked to see that servine already launched solar beam which connected with ice beam creating an explosion
"How your servine could launched solar beam in less time," asked Clay
"We trained to reduce charging time," said Ash as servine released sweet scent that made Seismitoad attracted towards the scent.
"Now use attract," said Ash
"Clay is stronger, " said Iris
"Right, his pokemon may be having experience for more than ten years," said Cilan
Servine and Seismitoad then used Sludge bomb and seed bomb. Then ice beam and solar beam followed by hydro pump and leaf tornado.
"Seismitoad use hyper voice," said Clay which Servine countered with mirror coat making hypervoice sent back to Seismitoad making it unable to move.
"Now use attract followed by sweet scent into leaf tornado," said Ash as final combination left Seismitoad unconcious and heavily tired Servine
"Seismitoad is unable to battle," said referee
Clay then sends his Golurk who is standing at 12ft of height and used phantom force knocking out servine instantly.
"Servine is unable to battle, " declared referee
"You did nice job," said Ash while recalling his grass type
"Wow, both are left with three pokemon," said Iris
"Dewott battle time," said Ash sending his water type
"Golurk's height is a disadvantage,"
"Golurk, start with shadow punch," said Clay
"Dewott use counter shield," said Ash as Dewott started to used counter shield that stopped shadow punch and strikes Golurk dealing good amount of damage.
"What" said Clay in shock
"Ash stopped that ," said Iris
"Golurk use earth power," said Clay
"Use aquajet into x-scissor " said Ash
Just before Golurk raised its leg in the air to attack, Dewott used aqua jet which Golurk easily stopped by throwing Dewott in the air. Dewott balanced itself and used double team to confuse Golurk and used x-scissor which strikes it mark making it trip on the field which created shockwave.
"Dewo" said Dewott
"You trained your pokemon well kiddo," said Clay
"Thanks a lot sir," said Ash
"But I have to say that you will not win," said Clay
"We will see, I will not let my years of hard work go waste," said Ash
"Dewott let's get offensive, use double team into night slash," said Ash
"We will get offensive as well, use stone edge," said Clay.Golurk then fired multiple sharp edged stones at Dewott but thanks to his training with his rock type friends he dodged all of the stones and strikes Golurk to imbalanced it. Dewott then used newly learned hydro pump on Golurk dealing good damage on Golurk
"Golurk use night shade," said Clay
"Dewott use double counter shield," said Ash as Dewott used double team and then used counter shield that once again successfully stopped attack and striked Golurk. Dewott then used newly formed combo move of ice aquajet, and night slash that did massive damage to Golurk's health.
Battle continued for next twenty minutes and now both pokemon are verge on falling.
"Use giga impact," said Clay
"Double team to dodge and use hydro pump," said Ash as this attack knocked out golurk
"Golurk is unable to battle," said referee
Clay then sends his Excadrill.
"Dewott, can you battle buddy," askes Ash to which he nodded
"Cool," said Ash
"Excadrill use horn drill," said Clay
"Dewott use icy wind," said Ash
Dewott used icy wind but Excadrill deflected it using horn drill and then striked Dewott sending it skidding on the field.
"Dew," said Dewott as it charged at Excadrill with aqua jet.
"Excadrill stop it using focus blast," said Clay
Focus blast and aqua jet connected making Dewott thrown in the air.Excadrill then strikes Dewott knocking it out
"Pignite go," said Ash sending his fire and fighting type.
"Excadrill use drill run," said Clay
"Pignite wait and stop it," said Ash
With all of his strength, Pignite stopped the horn drill. Excadrill is now standing close to Pignite with his hands pushing against Excadrill's claws.
"Now throw Excadrill in the air," said Ash as Pignite grabbed Excadrill by arms and then swing it before throwing it in the air.
"Now finish him with overheat," said Ash which literally widened clay's eyes. Before Excadrill could balance itself ,overheat hit engulfed it in the flames leaving it with burn marks and health loss
"Training with Excadrill surely paid off, " said Cilan
"Yeah, " said Iris
"Excadrill use focus blast," said Clay
"Push it back with flamethrower," said Ash
As flamethrower and focus blast connected, flamethrower pushed it back at Excadrill. Focusblast is now covered in flames and then hit Excadrill leaving him with burn.
"Excadrill use drill run," said Clay
"Okay finish it off with flare blitz," said Ash as Pignit's body becomes surrounded in light blue flames and it shoots like a missile at the Excadrill slamming into incoming Excadrill. Both are pushing each other and ultimately Pignite overpowered Excadrill knocking it instantly
"How is that possible," asked Clay
"I trained with my friend's excadrill, " said Ash pointing to Iris.Clay then sends his Krookoodile out.
"Krookoodile use dig," said Clay
"Let's heat up the field, use overheat around you," said Ash which is making Clay frightened
Pignite is using overheat which made ground started to melt. All of sudden Krookoodile exit from the field and strikes Pignite sending him fly in the air. However, Krookoodile is left with burn marks.
"Pignite if you can battle use focus blast," said Ash
"Stop focus blast with dragon claw and use stone edge ," said Clay
"Use protect into double team" said Ash
"Krookoodile use dragon pulse," said Clay
As Pignite evaded stone edge Krookoodile fired dragon pulse.
"Use over heat" said Ash
Overheat and dragon pulse connected leading to smoke. Krookoodile emerged from within the smoke and used dragon tail. Pignite stopped dragon tail successfully.
"What" said Clay in shock
"Use overheat," said Ash which decided the fate of Krookoodile.
"Krookoodile is unable to battle.The winner of gym battle is challenger Ash Ketchum " said referee
"Well kiddo, your pokemon earned my respect ," said Clay as he gave Ash his quake badge
"We got the quake badge.That makes my fifth gym badge," said Ash
"Three more to go Ash and you will end up in the Unova league," said Clay
"Thanks ," said Ash
"Kid, I have one request, " said Clay as he picks two pokeballs from his belt.
"These are two pokemon which I found injured few month back in the Hoenn region.But I already have the pokemon of same species. So I request you to take them under your wing.I can see that you have great pokemon." said Clay
"Do you really mean it," asked Ash
"Yes, and I believe these two pokemon will be great asset to your team," said Clay
"I accept it sir," said Ash as Clay send the two pokemon out
"A Baltoy and Golett," said Ash in awe. Golett and Baltoy looked at the Clay and then hugged him
"You two, this trainer will be your new friend. He has great team of pokemon and you will get strong with him." said Clay
"Hi you two, will you want to be my friend and team member. " asked Ash to which both pokemon nodded
It's already three hours passed since Ash and his friends started their journey towards the Mistralton city. Now they find themselve near chargstone cave.
"Look at that cave, it seems so amazing," said Ash
"Such a kid, " said Iris
"What did you said," asked Ash
"I said you are a kid, if you get excited by something boring like a cave," said Iris.
"Pika" said pikachu in agreement with Iris
"You too pikachu," said Ash
As scene changes there are two humans and a cat like pokemon digging the stones out of the cave walls.
"These stones will be great power source for Dr. Zager's mission" said Meowth
"I can't wait to finish this task already and then we can go for a tasty dinner," said James
Meanwhile from the cavity between the door and the cave wall , a tiny pokemon enters the cave which get attention of James
"So you entered without permission, too bad you have to go back from where you came from," said James
"Woobat, stop that bug," said Jessie sending her pokemon. Woobat then used air slash to drive away the Joltik
As Ash and his walking towards the charge stone cave they found a weak ans fainted Joltik
"Hey look that's Joltik," said Ash as he stopped to see multiple small pokemon
lying on the ground unconcious.
"Hello are you alright," asked Ash as he poked the tiny pokemon.
"I think these are joltik ran out of electricity," said Cilan
"Pikachu help this out," said Ash as pikachu released thundershock to charge the small pokemon.
"Emolga, stunfisk go" said Cilan and Iris sending their pokemon as well
"Joltik" said the little pokemon as they came back to it their senses once again
"Jolti" said one of the Joltik as it happily jumped up and down. But all of sudden out of no where, more joltik came. One joltic tried to stop them but it's of no use and all other joltik attacked Pikachu,Emolga and Stunfisk and started to drain their electricity. Once they are satisfied they left Pikachu, Emolga and Stunfisk
"Oh no Pikachu, " said Ash as he picked up Pikachu
"We have to find the pokemon center," said Ash
"Joltik," said Joltik with sadness in its voice
"Jolt" said Joltik as it followed Ash and his friends
Twenty minutes later they reached pokemon center.
"Let's get inside," said Ash as joltik followed them too
"Nurse Joy, please help our pokemon," said Ash,Iris and Cilan
"Give me some time, I will heal your pokemon," said Joy
Twenty minutes later Ash and his received their pokemon
"They are looking refreshed," said Ash
"Yup," said Iris
All of a sudden, electricity of the pokemon center started to fluctuate.
"What's going on," asked Ash
"I don't know, " said Joy as they noticed Galvantula outside the center
"What Galvantula are doing here, " asked Ash
"You are right, this is quite abnormal for these Galvantula to infest the area outside chargestone cave " said Joy
"They get their energy from the stones of chargestone caves." said Joy
"The only reason they came out to seek for new energy sources is because they are not able to get inside the cave." said Cilan
"It means someone is stopping them from getting inside," said Ash
"We have to find out," said Ash
"We have to first get inside the cave to see what is the problem," said Cilan
"You have to distract the Galvantula first,and I have a plan " said Ash
"Joy is there any back door," asked Ash
"Yes, " said Joy
"Perfect," said Ash as they used back door to exit pokemon center but found themselves surrounded by Galvantula
"Now smarty boy, what's next" said Iris
"Pidgeot come out,"said Ash sending his flying type
"Pikachu go with Pidgeot by using your electric waves as a bait, Pidgeot make sure you guys don't come in contact with Galvantula" said Ash to which they nodded.Pikachu jumped on the Pidgeot and both of them flew in the air. Pikachu then started to release electric waves
"Emolga you go with them," said Iris sending her emolga
"Noctowl and use hypnosis to put galvantula or joltik to sleep if you found any" said Ash
"Noc," said Noctowl
All of sudden all galvantula started to move away from them.
"Plan worked," said Ash as Joltik took ride on Ash's shoulders without knowing him.
"Let's go, before they came back," said Ash
Twenty minutes later they came near one of the enterance of the charge stone cave.
"Look, this is one of the enterance here," said Ash
"But it is blocked, " said Cilan as he pushed the massive gate
"Let's search for the next enterance," said Ash
After trying to open every enterance to the cave they found one which is slightly open
"This is open, let's get inside," said Ash as Cilan,Iris and Ash entered the cave. When they entered the cave they heard the drilling sound.
"I got it, they are mining the electrically charged stones that are main food source of Joltik and Galvantula." said Ash
"Right, and these pokemon are afraid making them go out and look for another source of food," said Cilan
"Let's stop them," said Ash as he and his friends started to venture deep in to the cave until they came across team rocket.
"Look we have guest," said James
"Team rocket, what are you doing here," asked Ash
"Actually twerp, we took mining assignment," said Meowth as he is loading the last pile of stones in the truck
"We are done with here,see ya you fools," said meowth as team rocket started their trucks and ran their vehical over Ash and his friends making them get out of the way.
"Hey stop," said Ash and his friends as they ran behind team rocket.Ash sends his pokemon. Ash and his friends then able to stop team rocket trio from escaping.All stones collected by team rocket scatterd in the surrounding forest of chargestone cave.Joltik and Galvantula are glaring at the trio.Ash's Pidgeot,Pikachu,Corvisquire and Iris's emolga returned as well
"Everyone blast them off, use your attack," said Ash as all combined attack from his pokemon,Cilan's pokemon and Iris's,Galvantula and Joltik's thundershock send them flying in the air.
"Why we always lose," said James
"Wobbufett" said the water type
"Now this place is safe, and your home as well," said Ash making all joltik and galvantula happy.
"I think we are done here," said Ash
"Let's go," said Cilan
"We have to go, take care of yourself," said Ash as they bid farewell to the spider pokemon.
"Joltik " said Joltik as it latched itself to Ash's jacket
