Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

Martin: Can Steven use an electric weapon? Chaos is pure liquid after all

fflyboyray - Probably. Steven gave everything he had against Chaos and it still didn't do anything. It seems that'll have to do research and think of a plan now.

Inside the Rec Room of Steven's Castle Mansion property, Steven has been exercising and training like crazy as he was grunting, panting and sweating ever since he woke up this morning. After a couple of hours, Steven stopped and wiped himself with a rag. Steven then looked at his fist before clenching it. "Dang it! This won't work. It's not enough to defeat Chaos. I think Chaos could be the strongest opponent I've ever faced" Steven says before his phone rang. Steven sighs before answering it. "Hello...? Oh, hey Chuck... Not good. I've been putting my workout training to the max ever since I woke up and I don't think it's gonna make nearly as much practice to help me reach higher than Chaos' level... I hope so, so what's going on...? Oh okay... Sure, I'll be over real soon... Alright, goodbye" Steven says before he hangs up the phone. Steven then looks out the window. "Chaos..." Steven says in his head before walking out.

At the Thorndyke Mansion, it was sunny with birds chirping off screen.

Inside Chuck's room of the Garage, Sonic, Steven, Knuckles, Big, Chris, and Chuck were having coffee with Sonic, Knuckles and Big on bean bag chairs, Chuck sitting on his chair and Chris and Steven sitting on the bed. "Shouldn't we be out trying to find to stop Eggman instead of taking a coffee break?" Sonic asked, "I'm hoping that we can put our heads together and unravel the mystery of Eggman's chaos creature" Chuck says before taking a sip of his coffee. "We've got to warm everyone else about Eggman and Chaos. That's for sure" Steven says before he takes a sip of his coffee. Sonic and Knuckles also take a sip of their coffees before Knuckles looks at Sonic. "It's the most powerful..." Knuckles says before Sonic turns to him. "...Thing I've ever seen. We watched it gulp down two Chaos Emeralds like they were candy" Knuckles says, "They made that thing even stronger" Sonic says, "And who knows how strong it'll get once it has all seven of them" Steven says before he, Sonic and Knuckles look at Chuck. "It sounds as if it's going to be a real challenge to defeat this creature" Chuck says off screen. Knuckles then looks at the floor. "It will. I never thought Eggman'll go after the Master Emerald. I let my guard down" Knuckles says, "Isn't the Master Emerald the object you were protecting in your world, Knuckles?" Chris asked before Knuckles looks forward. "That's right. Now the Master Emerald has been destroyed!" Knuckles says before everyone except Steven look at him in shock. "Explain. Now" Steven says.

A flashback shows Angel Island with dark clouds in the skies with flashes and lightning striking with the sounds of boom. The Egg Carrier was also seen flying towards Angel Island.

Above Angel Island, it was breezing around with flashes happening. "As far back as I can remember, I've been living here, on this dark island... Always guarding the Master Emerald from anything that could harm it" Knuckles says in his head off screen.

On Angel Island, Knuckles was seen sleeping at the bottom of the staircase of the Master Emerald Alter. "I don't know why I was given this job... Why it was my fate... Destined to be here... forever!" Knuckles says in his head.

Back in the skies, a huge lightning strikes down, causing a shake to happen following a glass shattering sound to be heard.

Back on Angel Island, it began to vibrate with a flash. The flash fades away and the vibration stops. Knuckles than opens his eyes before sitting up. "What the...?" Knuckles asked before he stands up as there was brown smoke spreading from above the Alter. Sparkles then spread a bit. Then suddenly, Chaos 0 and the Orb float and walk forward. The brown smoke was blowing all around Chaos 0. The Master Emerald was also seen shattered behind Chaos 0 and the Orb. Knuckles then gasped. "What's going on here?" Knuckles says before he notices something. "Oh no!" Knuckles says as he saw what happened to the Master Emerald. "Something's happened to the Master Emerald!" Knuckles says off screen before Chaos 0 walks forward more so Knuckles could see it. "Hey! Who are you?" Knuckles asked before Chaos 0 growls and spreads its arms out. This caused the brown smoke to clear up. Knuckles then points at Chaos 0. "Did you do this?" Knuckles asked before Chaos 0 shakes it's arms while growling. This caused more brown smoke to fly around. "Ohhh, I'll get you for this!" Knuckles says before he performs punches and kicks in the air. Knuckles jumps and charges at Chaos 0, but Chaos 0 jumps out the way. Knuckles then looks up to see Chaos 0 get in a dive position with its arms on its body. As Chaos 0 was about to land, Chaos 0 used it's head to hit Knuckles, causing Knuckles to get pushed back with a grunt. "Ooomph!" Knuckles says before he falls all the way down the stair case. "Ugh agh!" Knuckles says before he stops himself and looks up at the alter. Knuckles then stands up and runs forward to the staircase. "Hey! No fair!" Knuckles says before he reaches to the top and stops in front of Chaos 0. Knuckles raises his fist forward until Chaos 0 melts. This made Knuckles gasped before running forward. "Wait!" Knuckles says before Chaos' liquid disappears, causing Knuckles to stop. Knuckles then clenches his left fist. "What's happening to you!? Come back here!" Knuckles says. Suddenly, another vibration was felt on Angel Island, causing Knuckles to look shocked. "Wow! That was incredible!" Knuckles says before the vibration stops. "I've never seen anything like it" Knuckles says before he notices something else.

Outside of Angel Island, Angel Island began to descend towards the ocean slowly.

Back on Angel Island, the vibration happens again, causing stoned towers to crumble and fall. "Oh no!" Knuckles says before he turns around. "It's starting to happen. Without the Master Emerald's power, this whole island will fall into the ocean!" Knuckles says as he didn't notice the Orb flying away from above.

Back outside Angel Island, Angel Island continues descending towards the ocean slowly. Angel Island then crashes into the ocean with a big splash and rumble.

Back to reality, Knuckles looks at the floor. "You shouldn't blame yourself for what that creature did, Knuckles" Chuck says, "Chuck's right, Knuckles. Whatever Eggman and Chaos did wasn't your fault. You did all you can to prevent it" Steven says. Chris then looks at Big. "Big, when you went looking for Froggy in the forest, didn't you see something that looked like Chaos?" Chris asked before Big mumbles.

Another flashback shows Chaos' liquid gurgle and splash around the rocks. Chaos' liquid made it's way down and go up to Froggy from behind. As Chaos' liquid got closer, Froggy began to turn around. "Ribbit" Froggy says before he looks at Chaos' liquid that was now floating. Then suddenly, Chaos' liquid splashes forward. This caught Froggy surprised. "Ribbit!" Froggy says before some of Chaos' liquid goes inside Froggy's mouth. "Ugh! Ugh!" Froggy says while blinking his eyes before gulping and swallowing Chaos' liquid. Big then stands back up and looks at Froggy. "Uh, what's the matter, little buddy? You find another one?" Big asked as Froggy didn't turn around or do anything. "Hmm?" Big asked before Froggy began sickly and groaning while shaking. "Ribbit" Froggy says before he grows a tail. "Hey, am I seeing things? You're growing a tail!" Big says before Froggy shakes again. "Ribbit!" Froggy says before he hops and turns around. Froggy then smiles a bit. "Ribbit!" Froggy says before he jumps up.

Back to reality, Big finishes. "I tried to catch Froggy, but he was faster than me, and he hoped away with something I found in the forest" Big says, "What was that?" Chris asked before Big spreads his arms out. "It was a big yellow rock. It looked awful pretty when it was glowing" Big says before Chris stands up. "That sounds like it could have been a Chaos Emerald" Chris says before Steven stands up. "It's gotta be" Steven says. Chuck then puts his hand on his chin with his eyes closed. "If that's the case, then we better find that little frog quick or it won't survive long" Chuck says, "Why, Grandpa?" Chris asked before Chuck opens his eyes. "Because Dr. Eggman is determined to do anything to seize an emerald. The more emeralds he feeds that Chaos creature, the easier it'll be to take over this world" Chuck says.

Another flashback shows Chaos' liquid gurgle from the man hole. Chaos 0 then lifts the man hole cover off and steps out. Chaos 0 stands up straight and some Officers aimed their guns at it. "You are completely surrounded! Surrender yourself!" another Officer says off screen before Chaos 0 then takes a few steps forward while growling. Chaos 0 then stops walking. "All right, boys! Ready?... FIRE!" another Officer says before he and the other Officers fired their guns at Chaos 0. The bullets hit Chaos 0 before they fell on the ground. The Officers then continues shooting before the Officer that gave the word noticed. "Oh no!" the Officer says before firing again. "Our weapons are useless!" another Officer says before Chaos 0 scratches it's chest a bit before walking forward again. "What is it?" the Officer says before he and another one run away from Chaos 0 while the other Officer screams. "Retreat! All personnel, fall back!" the other Officer says off screen while Chaos 0 growls and smashes two cop cars with its fists. This caused smoke to rise from the destroyed cop cars. Chaos 0 then walks forward again.

Back to reality, Chris looks at Steven. "Steven, when we were looking for Froggy, that light we saw, what was it?" Chris asked before Sonic, Knuckles and Chuck look at Steven. "A light?" Sonic asked, "I wish I had an answer, but i'm not exactly sure, Chris" Steven says, "What did this light look like, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "It looked like a small floating orange light" Steven says, "Where did you first see this light, Steven?" Sonic asked, "Well I saw it when I was at Emerald Coast around the afternoon yesterday. It flew around me as if it wanted me to follow it. So I followed it and it lead me to Big. After I saw Big, the light disappeared" Steven says, "Well I can't say we've never encountered anything stranger, but that light could possibly be more than what it seems to be" Chuck says, "That's what I think too because it came back and reacted when we saw a glimpse of Chaos" Steven says, "Reacted towards Chaos? How so?" Chuck asked before Steven twirls his finger around. "It was spinning around like crazy when we saw Chaos' substance" Steven says "Could this light have a connection with that creature then?" Knuckles asked, "Like I said, I'm not exactly sure. I'm still trying to figure all this out as well" Steven says, "What do you think, grandpa? You think that light could possibly be related to Chaos?" Chris asked, "Well from what you've all told me from your side of the stories, I can conclude that light could possibly have been inside the Master Emerald along with Chaos" Chuck says before everyone gasped. "How so?" Sonic asked, "From what Knuckles said, the Master Emerald shattered and Chaos appeared. It's possible you could have missed that light when you first saw Chaos, Knuckles" Chuck says, "Maybe" Knuckles says, "So then that light must have flown away when Angel Island crashed into the ocean" Steven says, "Exactly. Then Chaos appeared from where Big and his frog friend were and splashed some substance into the frog's mouth" Chuck says, "And since Froggy ate the Chaos Emerald Big had, then it's possible that the substance from Chaos has Froggy possessed now due to Chaos trying to get the rest of them as well" Steven says, "Yes, it would seem that way" Chuck says, "Aww. My buddy's not the same buddy I knew" Big says, "Don't worry, Big. We'll find Froggy and get him back to normal" Steven says, "Yes, we will. Anyway, with that light guiding Steven to Big and how it reacted towards Chaos, then that light could possibly be trying to help us" Chuck says and everyone gasped again. "If that's true, then that means that light is a person" Steven says, "Yes, but we don't know who it is and why exactly they're helping us. So it's best if we stay on our guard and be ready for anything that light or should I say Orb take us" Chuck says, "Right, Chuck" Steven says, "Steven, when we confronted Chaos, how did you know it was a god?" Sonic asked, "Oh! Um..." Steven says, "I have to make an excuse answer. I don't want to be reminded what happened 6 months ago" Steven says in his head. "When I first fought Chaos, I couldn't lay a finger on it. My attacks just kept going through it so I figured it would have been a god" Steven says.

A flashback shows Steven battling Chaos 0 and Chaos 2.

Back to reality, Steven continued while looking at the floor. "I've never fought anything that could just absorb my attacks. Chaos is the first to do that" Steven says "Yeah. You've fought with everything you had and still couldn't land a hit on it" Chris says, "I've gotta find a way to improve on strength, speed and strategy somehow because even doing doubles, it's still not enough for me to get stronger. I'll have to somehow push my training to the limits if that's what it's gonna take to defeat Chaos..." Steven says off screen while looking at his left hand. "Your welcome to use your old home gym here again, Steven. If it helps you" Chuck says, "Thanks, Chuck..." Steven says, "Hold on a minute. Steven, you said that Chaos is a god before we're just figuring this out. If you already knew it from the beginning, then why are you acting you've never seen this creature?" Knuckles asked. Steven then looked a bit nervous. "Oh. Um... Well..." Steven says as he scratches the back of his head. "Maybe Steven knows more about Chaos than the rest of us" Chris says, "But how?" Sonic asked, "If he does, then he has to tell us right now" Knuckles says off screen while Steven still looked a bit nervous. "Is it true, Steven? Do you know more about this Chaos creature?" Chuck asked while Steven didn't say anything. "Well, Steven? We're waiting for an answer. Now tell us what you know about Chaos" Knuckles says and Steven was looking more nervous. Knuckles then stands up. "Come on, Steven! Tell us already! What do you know more about Chaos!?" Knuckles asked before Sonic tried to hold Knuckles back. "Hey, cool it, Knuckles! Steven probably doesn't know too much about Chaos then he already does" Sonic says, "Sonic, if he's got more information about that creature, then he needs to share it with us now!" Knuckles says, "Even if he knew more, doesn't mean he has to tell us now" Sonic says, "Well he has too!" Knuckles says before Chuck waves his hand downwards. "Now, everyone. Let's all calm down and take it easy" Chuck says, "Steven, is it true? Do you know what Chaos is?" Chris asked off screen. After Steven looked at everyone, he holds his head, looks down at the floor with his eyes close before giving a sigh in stress. Sonic then looks at Knuckles in annoyance. "Way to go, knucklehead. You just made Steven lose it" Sonic says, "I just want all of us to be on the same page as Steven is, Sonic. That's all" Knuckles says off screen, "But you didn't need to go off on him like that. Now you're not gonna get any info from him now" Sonic says off screen before Steven opens his eyes and looks up. "No, Sonic. Knuckles' right" Steven says before everyone excepts Big looks at Steven in surprised. "We all need to be on the same page together and I'm sorry for not having you all on it" Steven says, "Don't worry about it, Steven. We understand" Sonic says before he faces Knuckles. "Right, Knuckles?" Sonic asked, "I.. I guess..." Knuckles says, "So are you gonna tell us, Steven?" Chris asked, "Steven, you don't have to if you don't want to" Sonic says, "No. I have to do this. So everyone hear me out but please listen carefully because I don't want to repeat myself" Steven says before giving a sigh. "Why, Steven? What's wrong?" Chuck asked. Steven then looks at everyone. "Everyone, I didn't find out Chaos was a god by just fighting it. I found out 6 months ago" Steven says, "Six months ago? Where did you find out then?" Knuckles asked while Steven didn't answer right away. "Steven, what's wrong?" Chris asked before Steven grunts. "...At Angel Island after Reversed Chaos Control!" Steven says, "After Reversed Chaos Control? Isn't that when...? ... Oh" Sonic says in realization.

Another flashback shows Wrathful Steven rampaging everywhere on E-99 Egg Emperor and roaring towards the readers.

Back to reality, Steven closed his eyes and sighs again. "Wait. You mean at the time when you...?" Knuckles asked before Steven nodded. "That's right. I remember you telling me you got really angry and somehow transformed, Steven" Chris says, "Uh huh" Steven says, "Steven, everything that happened that day wasn't your fault. You and Chris were just trying to help us get back home" Sonic says, "Sonic's right, Steven. If anyone is to blame, it's me. I'm the one that decided for us to call a truce with Eggman and I let my gullible ness get to me" Knuckles says before he closes his eyes. "I'm really sorry for what I've done to make you so angry, Steven. And I'm also sorry for forcing you to answer right now" Knuckles says before Steven sighs. "No, Knuckles. You have nothing to be sorry about. It already happened and there's no going back now. Now with whatever I turned into, it's inside me and hasn't been awakened ever since so we don't have to worry about that for right. The one that should really be blamed for that day is Eggman. Now that he's done something to awaken Chaos, it gives me the courage to get stronger and give him a piece of my mind that I've been itching to give him" Steven says before Sonic chuckled a bit. "Alright, who are you and what have you've done to the Steven I know. The Steven I know never talked smack about Eggman like that" Sonic asked before Steven chuckles a bit. "He's right here talking, Sonic. He's just been adapting and growing up on Earth for so long. Living in a world for so long can drive anyone crazy!" Steven says while rolling his eyes and pointing at his face. This caused everyone except Big to laugh a bit. "But seriously. I've just been growing up and learning how to take care of myself in a civilized way" Steven says, "And you sure made a big step to it" Chuck says, "Yeah, I know. But where off topic so let's get back on track. So yeah, after reversed Chaos Control, I was transported to Angel Island somehow" Steven says.

Another flashback shows Steven walking up the steps of the Master Emerald alter before he reached to the top and saw the Master Emerald.

Back to reality, Steven continues. "Once I saw the Master Emerald, I heard that voice again" Steven says, "You mean the one we heard after we left Oriental City, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "Yes, that was it" Steven says, "What did this voice sound like?" Chuck asked, "It sounded like it came from a girl, Chuck, but this time. She said more than what me and Knuckles heard" Steven says, "What did she say?" Sonic asked, "She said "The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos. Feel within the sea of Chaos, the young waters. May the light that controls power shine down for eternity and protect us" that's what she said" Steven says. Everyone except Big looked surprised. "So does that mean..." Chris says and Steven nodded. "Yes. And from everything I can gather from back then to now, the answer about Chaos is that it's the original guardian of the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds" Steven says, "The original of the Master Emerald?" Knuckles asked, "And the Chaos Emeralds?" Sonic asked, "Steven, are you sure that's what you can conclude on what Chaos really is?" Chuck asked, "Yes, Chuck. There's no doubt about it. It all makes sense after all. Since Chaos transforms every time it's given a Chaos Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds themselves, they have the title "Chaos" on them. They're named after Chaos itself" Steven says, "So there is more to the Chaos Emeralds then what we originally thought about them. I never thought there was a guardian before Knuckles to them. I thought they were just mysterious gems" Sonic says, "They're not as mysterious as they were to you anymore, Sonic" Steven says, "I... I can't believe this. As a guardian of the Master Emerald, I wasn't told anything about a creature being inside the Master Emerald the whole time" Knuckles says, "Chaos could have possibly been asleep inside the Master Emerald when you were always guarding it Knuckles, but it dosen't make sense for Chaos to be evil and be on Dr. Eggman's side" Steven says, "Maybe it got angry when it saw it wasn't in the right world" Chris says, "Maybe, but there has to be more and I'm gonna continue to figure this all out before it's too late" Steven says.

Inside Steven's head, it showed Chaos 0's figure from Steven's nightmare.

Back to reality, Chuck looks at everyone. "Yes, we've got to stop Eggman and Chaos before that can happen. It's vital we find those emeralds before Eggman or Chaos use their power to conquer us all" Chuck says before Sonic stands up. "No sweat! We'll find them" Sonic says before Chris looks at him. "You have a plan, Sonic?" Chris asked before Sonic looks at him. "You know I prefer to think on my feet" Sonic says before Knuckles walks up to Sonic and Chris. "I'll go and look for the broken pieces of the Master Emerald" Knuckles says before Sonic, Knuckles and Chris look at Big. "I guess Big and I can go try to find Froggy together" Chris says, "Hmmm. That's a good idea" Big says. Sonic then looks at Steven who was standing up as well. "What about you, Steven? What are you gonna do?" Sonic asked, "I'm gonna go find that Orb and see what it wants us to do" Steven says. Then suddenly, the Orb flew into the Chuck's room. This caused everyone to shout in surprised. "Well then, guess I don't need to find it after all" Steven says, "This is the Orb?" Sonic asked, "That's the Orb" Steven says before the Orb flies around Steven. "Amazing. I've never seen anything like it" Chuck says, "You and me both, grandpa" Chris says, "Let's see what it wants us to do them" Knuckles says before Steven faces the Orb. "Okay, magical Orb. What do you want us to do?" Steven asked. The Orb flew around Steven before it flew towards Knuckles and fly around him too. the Orb then flies back to Steven. "I think it's telling us it wants Steven to go with Knuckles" Chris says, "Probably to help find the pieces of the Master Emerald" Knuckles says, "If that's true, then I'm up for a treasure hunting. What do you say, Knuckles? Want a helping hand?" Steven asked. Knuckles thinks a bit before smiling. "Sure. Let's give it try" Knuckles says.

Back outside of the Thorndyke Mansion, everyone went in separate ways with Big and Chris together, Sonic and Chuck together and Steven and Knuckles together while Ella, Cream and Cheese watch them leave. Cream and Cheese look nervous before Ella looks at them. "Everyone can handle this. Everything will be fine" Ella says before Cream and Cheese look at her. "I'm still worried" Cream says and Cheese chirps. Ella then pats Cream's head. "Don't worry" Ella says.

The Mysterious Life Form Chaos (A Chaotic Day)

At Station Square, Steven and Knuckles were looking at each other. "Alright, Steven, it's up to us to find the missing pieces of the Master Emerald" Knuckles says, "Okay. I'm ready when you are Knuckles" Steven says before he and Knuckles observe the area. "It won't be easy. Pieces flew off everywhere. Guess we'd better start looking anywhere we can" Knuckles says, "You're right" Steven says before the Orb flies around them. "We should probably follow this Orb to see where it wants us start looking" Steven says before the Orb flew off. "It looks like it's heading in the direction where City Hall is" Steven says, "Then let's go" Knuckles says before he and Steven run after the Orb.

SPEED HIGHWAY

At Speed Highway, the Orb floated before Steven and Knuckles run up to it. Steven and Knuckles then look at the area. "Seems that it wants us to search around here first" Knuckles says, "Then let's start looking" Steven says before he and Knuckles split up to search around.

MYSTIC RUINS

At Mystic Ruins, it was cloudy around the area.

At another part of Mystic Ruins, Tails' Workshop was seen.

Inside Tails' Workshop, Tails was fixing the X-Tornado with clicking and clanking sounds. "Tails!" Sonic says off screen, getting Tails' attention. "Huh?" Tails asked as he turns around to see Sonic at the entrance. "Hey!" Sonic says while giving a thumbs up. "Hiya, Sonic! Long time no see, huh?" Tails asked before Sonic enters and explained everything. "So, we have to track down the Chaos Emeralds all over again" Tails says, "If we fail, Eggman'll win. You think you're up to the challenge?" Sonic asked and Tails laughs. "I already started collecting 'em" Tails says, "Huh?" Sonic asked before blinking his eyes. "Ta-daahhh!" Tails says off screen as the X-Tornado's hatchet opens. Tails presses a button and it reveals the Green Chaos Emerald with whirs. "WHOA! A Chaos Emerald!" Sonic says before Tails looks at Sonic. "Yep! I just found this emerald yesterday. We can use it to pinpoint where all the other emeralds are. It will make tracking 'em down a lot easier" Tails says and Sonic whistles before winking. "Now, you're starting to think like me!" Sonic says, "Okay, just wait outside for a second..." Tails says. A door was then opening with whirring.

Back outside of Tails' Workshop, the palm trees positioned off the runway and the X-Tornado drives on the runway with Sonic watching. "Sonic! Hop in!" Tails says before Sonic jumps in.

Inside the X-Tornado, Tails was in the pilot seat and Sonic was behind Tails. "Hang on. Ready for take off!" Tails says before he pulls the levers.

Outside of the X-Tornado, it slowly flies off the ground. "Let's go!" Tails says off screen.

In the cloudy skies, the X-Tornado flies upwards.

Back at Speed Highway, Steven and Knuckles ran into each other. "Did you find any anything, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "Yes, actually" Steven says before he reaches into his pocket and pulls out three pieces of the Master Emerald. "I found these. These are the pieces right, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "Yes, they are. Good job, Steven. We're on the right track now" Knuckles says before he takes the 3 pieces. "Thanks. Did you find anything?" Steven asked, "No. Not even a single piece. There's probably nothing around here anymore" Knuckles says, "Seems that way then" Steven says before the Orb appears again. "Where to now?" Steven asked before the Orb flies off. Steven and Knuckles nodded to each other before running.

Above Station Square, it looked like there was snow on the ground.

STATION SQUARE

At another part of Station Square, a couple of Police cars, Officers and a crowd of people were in front of a Casino named Casinopolis that has two casualties from the top. Steven and Knuckles than stop and look at the area before they. "What in the world happened here?" Steven asked, "I think we've might have found our next location" Knuckles says before he and Steven went up to the Officers. "What happened, officer?" Knuckles asked, "Huh?" The Officer asked before he turns to Knuckles. "Hey, it's Knuckles and Steven!" the Officer says before another Officer goes next to him. "Whoa! Think we could get a picture taken and show the guys back at the station?" the second Officer asked, "Maybe Later" Knuckles asked, "We're in the middle of a job right now. Another time, definitely" Steven says before Knuckles points at Casinopolis. "Do you guys have any idea what smashed into that building?" Knuckles asked, "Well, sort of. Witnesses say there was glowing objects that fell from the sky" the Officer says before Knuckles jumps up, grabs the Officer's face and shakes him. "A what? You're sure?" Knuckles asked "Well, I…" the Officer says before Steven tried to pull Knuckles down. "Knuckles, let him talk!" Steven says while pulling.

CASINOPOLIS

Inside Casinopolis, Knuckles, Steven and the three Officer walked in. Steven then turns to Knuckles. "I'll look this way" Steven says before he and the other two Officers walked in another direction. Knuckles and the first Officer walk forward towards a piece of the Master Emerald. The Officer and Knuckles stop to see the piece of the Master Emerald glowing. "Another piece of the Master Emerald..." Knuckles says off screen before he goes up to it and brings his hand towards it. This caused the piece of the Master Emerald to hover out of the crash hole and land on Knuckles' hand before Knuckles grabs it. "Knuckles!" Steven says off screen before Knuckles and the first Officer turn around. Steven and the other two Officers walked up to them while Steven held two pieces of the Master Emerald. "We've hit the jackpot!" Steven says as he held out the two pieces of the Master Emerald. "That's now six in total" Knuckles says before Steven and the two Officers stop walking. "If we can keep this up, we'll have the Master Emerald back together in no time. Huh?" Steven says asked the Orb appeared and flew around Steven and Knuckles. The Police then gasped as they saw the Orb. Steven and Knuckles smile a bit before Steven chuckled nervously. Suddenly Knuckles frowned as he saw the Orb began to shimmer. "What the?" Steven asked before a bright light surrounds the area, causing Steven and Knuckles to shield themselves.

At a part of Mystic Ruins during the day in an unknown timeline, Steven and Knuckles appeared in the area while still shielding themselves. Steven and Knuckles open their eyes before looking shocked. "Where in the world are we?" Knuckles asked, "It looks like Mystic Ruins from the looks of it, but I've never seen these temples before" Steven says off screen as on front of him and Knuckles were a few temple buildings with lighted torches all around the area. "I don't remember being here before either. But something about it is familiar" Knuckles says, "What makes you say that?" Steven asked, "Because this place may seem like Mystic Ruins" Knuckles says before he points forward. "...But the buildings should be ancient... Why do they look brand new?" Knuckles asked off screen. "We should probably look to see what exactly this place is" Steven says, "Good idea" Knuckles says before he looks up at the biggest temple building in the middle of the area. The biggest temple building was known as the Lost World building. "Hmmmm... This is very strange" Knuckles says before he and Steven were about to walk down a pair of stairs. "Huh?" Steven says before he gasped. "Knuckles, look!" Steven says in whispers as he points forward. Knuckles looks down and gasped too. From the bottom of the stairs, there were Echidnas that were part of the Knuckles Clan walking around the whole area. Steven then turns to Knuckles. "Knuckles, they're Echidnas just like you" Steven says, "You're right. They are..." Knuckles says, "How are we gonna get pass them?" Steven asked, "We're going to need to blend in, Steven" Knuckles says, "How will I blend in?" Steven asked, "You have long quills that reach downwards on each side of your head. They'll probably think you're an Echidna like me" Knuckles says before Steven rubs his quills on the side of his head. "Yeah, I guess so. Alright, let's do this" Steven says before he and Knuckles walk down the steps. As Steven and Knuckles walked around, some members of the Knuckles Tribe looked at them with different emotions and muttered a bit. Steven turns to Knuckles a bit. "Doesn't look like they take it kindly to their guests" Steven says, "Just ignore them and play it cool, Steven" Knuckles says as he and Steven continue walking around. Suddenly, Knuckles stopped as he saw something. Steven stopped as he saw Knuckles stopped. "What's wrong?" Steven asked before he looks forward. "Huh?" Steven asked. Far back from where Steven and Knuckles were were two Echidnas. The first Echidna was the Chief of the Knuckles Tribe named Pachacamac the Echidna who had his eyes closed while holding a spear. Next to Pachacamac was his daughter named Tikal the Echidna. "We must stop the invasion, father! Please!" Tikal says, "Tikal, you know I must seize those 7 emeralds for the good of our tribe and people. When we have them, we will be strong for our survival" Pachacamac says, "But this plan of yours is foolish. It will bring nothing but grief to our land and cause needless pain and suffering to other countries... There must be another way!" Tikal says off screen while Steven and Knuckles watch and listen. "We should not try to help our own kind by bringing harm to someone else! It's wrong!" Tikal says. Before Steven could walk forward, another bright light surrounds the area.

Back inside Casinopolis, Steven and Knuckles opened their eyes while still holding on to the pieces of the Master Emerald. Knuckles looks around "Uhh! Now where are we?" Knuckles asked, "Where back in Casinopolis..." Steven says while the Officers look at them in concern. "You feelin' okay, guys?" the Officer asked before Knuckles and Steven turn to the Officer. "Huh? Hmm" Knuckles says while nodding. "Uhh... Yeah. We're... Good" Steven says, "Since there wasn't a crime, we won't need that rock as evidence, will we?" the Officer asked before turning to the other Officer. "No, Steven and Knuckles can keep it" the other Officer says before all the Officers look at Steven and Knuckles. "If you find any more emeralds like these, let us know. Come on, Steven'' Knuckles says before he began walking. "Uhh... Yeah. Sure" Steven says before he followed Knuckles. "I couldn't protect the Master Emerald, but I will gather what's left of it. But what was that we just saw? What's going on here, anyway?" Knuckles asked in his head, "What just happened there? Why did that Orb sent us to Mystic Ruins? Who were those Echidnas anyway? These events just get stranger and stranger..." Steven says in his head.

Back outside of Casinopolis, Steven and Knuckles walked outside. "Well, that was... weird" Steven says, "You saw that too, right?" Knuckles asked, "Yeah, Knuckles. That place we were at, what was it exactly?" Steven asked, "Well... If my memory serves me, we were in Mystic Ruins where a clan known as the Knuckles Tribe used to reside" Knuckles says, "The Knuckles Clan? Does that mean you're related to those Echidnas, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "Sort of, but it's impossible for any of them to be around anymore" Knuckles says, "What do you mean?" Steven asked, "Well you may not believe this Steven, but I am the last of the Knuckles Clan" Knuckles says before Steven looked at him in shock. "You're... what?" Steven asked, "I'm the last of my own Clan, Steven" Knuckles says, "Wait... If those Echidnas were related to you and you're telling me you're the last one of them, does that mean we were in the...?" Steven asked, "Yes, we were in the past sometime over 3000 years ago" Knuckles says, "What!? Over 3000 years in the past!?" Steven asked, "That's right" Knuckles says, "So... If you're the last, What happened to everyone else?" Steven asked, "That I'm still not too sure. I've read from the legends that a disaster took place and it caused my people to be extinct somehow" Knuckles says, "Extinct?Yikes... Wow... I'm sorry for what happened to your people, Knuckles" Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven. It was a long time ago and I don't think about it too much, but it's strange for why that Orb brought us in the past" Knuckles says, "You're right. That doesn't make any sense. Speaking of the Orb, where is it now?" Steven asked before the Orb magically appeared in front of Steven and Knuckles. "How does it know when I mention it?" Steven asked, "Beats me. Let's see where it wants us to go now" Knuckles says before the Orb flies off. "Let's go!" Steven says before he and Knuckles run off.

WINDY VALLEY

At a area called Windy Valley, the X-Tornado was flying above the area. Suddenly, the X-Tornado began to shake a bit.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Sonic and Tails feel the shake. "The Chaos Emerald detected something!" Tails says.

Back outside in Windy Valley, there was a blue glow from the ground at afar.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Sonic looks down on the left. "Down there" Sonic says.

Back outside of Windy Valley, Sonic and Tails were walking with Tails holding the Green Chaos Emerald. Then suddenly, a wind swooshes and this caused Tails to almost get blown away while groaning. Sonic then grabbed Tails' left leg. "Gotcha!" Sonic says before the wind stops and Tails lands. "Are you okay?" Sonic asked before Tails opens his eyes. "I'm fine. The wind caught me by surprise!" Tails says. Sonic and Tails then continue walking before the Green Chaos Emerald shimmers. Tails then stops walking. "This must be the spot" Tails says, "We'll see" Sonic says before a dirt ground began to glow around them with shimmers. Sonic then holds a power ring up before it glows. Sonic jumps up with shouts before he flies downwards. Sonic's hand then glows before he turns into his powerful spin. Sonic crashes through the ground with a shake. The shake stops and a blue beacon lights up from the hole with shimmers. Then suddenly, the beacon widened.

At another part of Windy Valley, the blue beacon got wider with shimmers.

Back with Steven and Knuckles, they were running through Windy Valley while Knuckles held three more pieces of the Master Emerald. "With these 3 more pieces we got from Red Mountain, we now have nine pieces all together" Knuckles says, "Who know hunting for the Master Emerald pieces was this easy?" Steven asked, "Not for me. The Orb has really been a big help on locating a few places to search. I wonder why that Orb is always around you, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "Beats me, Knuckles" Steven says, "Well we better work fast and get to the bottom of this" Knuckles says, "Definitely! Huh?" Steven asked before he saw the blue beacon. "Knuckles, look!" Steven says off screen before he and Knuckles stop. "That's coming from a Chaos Emerald!" Knuckles says, "Let's check it out!" Steven says before he and Knuckles run in the direction where the light.

Back to where Sonic and Tails were, the Blue Chaos Emerald was seen flying out of the hole. "Another emerald..." Tails says, "Haha, yeah!" Sonic says off screen before he jumps out of the dirt ground and into the sky with Tails looking up. Sonic lands on the ground before Tails goes up to the Blue Chaos Emerald and takes it. "I sure hope the other ones are this easy to track down" Tails says before Sonic gives a thumbs up. "Yeah, me too!" Sonic says, "Sonic! Tails!" Steven says off screen. Sonic and Tails turn around to see Steven and Knuckles run up to them. "What's up, guys?" Sonic asked before Steven and Knuckles stop in front of them. "We saw a light that came from a Chaos Emerald around here" Knuckles says, "We're guessing you saw it too, Sonic" Steven says, "That's right. We just found another one" Tails says as he showed Steven and Knuckles the Blue and Green Chaos Emeralds. "Hey, Tails! How's it going?" Steven asked, "Steven, great seeing you again! What have you've been up to?" Tails asked, "Let's just say that me and Knuckles have been on a scavenger hunt. Show them, Knuckles" Steven says before Knuckles shows Sonic and Tails the nine pieces of the Master Emerald. "We just found nine pieces of the Master Emerald" Knuckles says off screen, "Nine pieces already? You guys've been a radar or something?" Sonic asked, "No. That Orb has been guiding us to different locations where the pieces are" Steven says, "An Orb? What Orb?" Tails asked, "This Orb, it's an-" Steven says before he was cut off by a strong breeze hits. This caused Sonic to groan as he, Steven, Tails and Knuckles close their eyes. "The wind is getting worse!" Tails says before the breeze stops. Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles then open their eyes. "Ugh. Oh, great" Sonic says as he, Steven, Tails and Knuckles look up to see Dr. Eggman in his new aircraft called the Egg Hornet while Dr. Eggman laughs. "Ahhh! Eggman!" Knuckles says, "Why am I not surprised to see him here?" Steven asked. Sonic groans while closing his eyes as the Egg Hornet over them close. This caused Tails to run before he falls on the ground with a groan and for Steven and Knuckles to shield themselves from the wind. This also caused Tails to drop the Green and Blue Chaos Emeralds as they roll on the grass. Tails, Sonic, Knuckles and Steven then gasped as they look at the Chaos Emeralds. "Oh no, the Chaos Emeralds..." Sonic says. Dr. Eggman laughs off screen before a green beacon lights on the Chaos Emeralds and flies into the Egg Hornet. "Uh oh!" Sonic says off screen. Dr. Eggman then laughs again. "Shoot!" Steven says, "Ha... My scheme worked like a charm. You did all the grunt work, and I get all the glory. Not to mention, the Chaos Emeralds! Just like taking candy from a baby!" Dr. Eggman says, "Whatever, Eggman!" Sonic says, "Guys, he followed us here!" Tails says, "Just to snatch out Chaos Emeralds!" Knuckles says, "You just been hiding under a rock and waited for the right moment to show your ugly face because you knew this would happen, didn't you!?" Steven asked, "That's right, smarty pants, you all made it all too easy! You all practically gave them to me!" Dr. Eggman says before Steven clenched his fist and grunted a bit. "Now that I have 4 lovely Emeralds... I'll see you next time, boys. Next time you find a Chaos Emerald, that is!" Dr. Eggman says as the Egg Hornet turns around and was about to fly away. "Hold it right there, creep! You can't get away with this...!" Sonic says as he runs forward. "Now he's just asking for it!" Steven says before he ran forward.

EGG HORNET

Sonic jumps up in the air while yelling and Steven continued running. The Egg Hornet then shook along with a thud to be heard. Dr. Eggman gasped before he turns behind to see Sonic behind him. "Oh, great" Dr. Eggman says before he steers the Egg Hornet sideways, making Sonic about to fall, but held on to another part of the Egg Hornet. "Dang it! Get off!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic groans and gets in front of the Egg Hornet. Sonic then began punching the glass to the Egg Hornet. "Take this! And this! And this!" Sonic says, "Why you! All systems full power!" Dr. Eggman says and grunts before he activated drills on the Egg Hornet with whirrs. Steven looked up to see the Egg Hornet was about to hit the ground. "Woah oh!" Steven says before he jumps out the way. The Egg Hornet then crashes on the ground and Sonic crashed on the ground with a groan. The Egg Hornet then flies off the ground. "Come on, Eggman! You and me! Let's go!" Steven says, "How persistence of you, but if you say so!" Dr. Eggman says before the Egg Hornet began firing missiles. Steven ran, jumped and dodged all the missiles that were crashing and exploding near him on the ground. Tails then runs forward with a ring in his hand. "Here!" Tails says as he throws the ring while the ring shimmers. Sonic then catches the ring. "Got it!" Sonic says before his hand glows. Sonic then does his super spin on the ground. Steven then turns around to see Sonic in his super spin. "Let's end this already" Steven says before he does his spin and spins towards Sonic and the Egg Hornet. The Egg Hornet's right drill tried to attack Sonic, but this caused buzzing to happen. Steven rolled up to the left drill and more buzzed happened. After a few seconds, both drills snap in half. "HOW DARE YOU!" Dr. Eggman says before the top pieces of the drills land behind Sonic and Steven. Sonic and Steven then attacked the Egg Hornet, causing it to spread fire. After a few seconds, the Egg Hornet crumbled and Dr. Eggman to flew away in his Egg Mobile. The Egg Mobile flies higher with debris flying upwards. Sonic and Steven stopped spinning and looked at each other. "Well, that wasn't so hard!" Sonic says, "You can say that again!" Steven says before he and Sonic do a fist bump. "Yeah!" Tails says before Knuckles looks up. "Look, the Chaos Emeralds!" Knuckles says before the Green and Blue Chaos Emeralds crashed into a river. "We'll have to fish 'em out...!" Tails says before Sonic and Steven land next to him and Knuckles. Steven then noticed something before gasping. "Wait! Look!" Steven says before he pointed forward, causing Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to look. The Green and Blue Chaos Emeralds glowed while shimmering in the lake. "Huh?" Sonic, Tails and Knuckles asked at the same time while Dr. Eggman laughs. "You can come on out now, Chaos 4!" Dr. Eggman says before Chaos' liquid pops out the water with gurgles as it now transformed into Chaos 4. Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles look at Chaos 4 in shock. "Ah! What'll we do now!? He transformed!" Tails asked, "Oh man, no one ever cuts us any slack!" Sonic says.

Back at Windy Valley, Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles continued looking at Chaos 4. "We gotta stop this, fast!" Tails says, "No problem. I'll make him eat dirt!" Knuckles says while Steven looked a bit nervous.

CHAOS 4

Chaos 4 swings it's right arm and it caused a strong purplish blue force to spread with a boom. This caused Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles to scream as they got pushed away. Sonic and Knuckles land while Tails crashed and Steven skidded on the ground. Sonic then turns to Tails. "You stay here! We'll handle it! Steven, Knuckles, let's go!" Sonic says before he spins forward with a fire trail and bounces upwards. "Right!" Knuckles says before he runs forward. Tails then looks at Steven who just watched. "Steven, aren't you gonna help?" Tails asked, "I wish I could, but not against Chaos" Steven says, "Why not?" Tails asked, "Because I couldn't even land a hit on Chaos in his first evolution" Steven says before Tails goes up to Steven. "You couldn't?" Tails asked, "No. Whenever it's given a Chaos Emerald, it gets stronger. I don't stand a chance against that thing" Steven says, "But what makes you think you can't beat it?" Tails asked, "Because Chaos is a god, Tails" Steven says, "A god!?" Tails asked in shock. Chaos 4 goes back into the lake while Sonic stops spinning before he and Knuckles land on lily pads. Suddenly, a cyan glow appeared from under the lily pads that Sonic and Knuckles were on before the water lifts them up. "Whoa!" Sonic and Knuckles said at the same time before they jump off the lily pads and saw a watered tornado in front of them. Sonic and Knuckles then landed back on different lily pads before they began hopping on more lily pads while grunting. "Sonic, get ready!" Knuckles says, "Okay!" Sonic says before Knuckles positioned his fist and was about to hit Chaos 4 in the front. Sonic then positioned his feet to hit Chaos 4 from behind. Once Sonic and Knuckles were close to Chaos 4, they both attacked it at the same time. This caused Chaos 4 to get pushed in the lake. "All yeah!" Tails says before Sonic and Knuckles land next to him and Steven. "Don't celebrate yet!" Steven says. Suddenly, a pinkish glow appeared from underneath particles of Chaos' liquid on the lake. "Huh?" Sonic, Tails and Knuckles asked at the same time before pieces of Chaos' liquid merged together and formed back into Chaos 4. The pink glow disappears and Chaos 4's liquid and eyes shined again. Chaos 4 then took a step forward before it raises it's right arm to form another purplish blue force to spread forward. Sonic and Knuckles jump before Sonic does a spin and Knuckles positions his fist while grunting. Sonic and Knuckles attacked Chaos 4 before they were all sent crashing into the lake with splashes. "Ah! Sonic! Knuckles" Tails says while Steven grunted. "Now, keep dunking Sonic and Knuckles till they're totally washed up!" Dr. Eggman says before Chaos 4 pops out with Sonic holding on to its head and Knuckles holding on to its back. Chaos 4, Sonic and Knuckles then dived into the lake.

Underwater, Sonic was gurgling water and Knuckles held his breath while still holding onto Chaos 4.

Above surface, Chaos 4 dived in the lake a couple of times with Sonic and Knuckles still holding on. "Whoa!" Sonic and Knuckles said at the same time as they and Chaos 4 went further up. Steven then positioned himself. "Shoot! No point in holding back now! I've gotta fight back and save them!" Steven says before he runs forward. "Steven!" Tails says before Steven jumps up. Sonic then felt a strong breeze before looking at Steven. "Lets ride the wind, Knuckles! Steven's about to fight back" Sonic says, "You got it!" Knuckles says before he and Sonic let go of Chaos 4. Steven then appeared in front of Chaos 4 as they floated from the breeze. "Let's go, Chaos! You and me on Round 3!" Steven says. Chaos 4 began attacking Steven, but Steven dodged, pushed and blocked Chaos 4's arms back a few times. After Steven couldn't keep up with the dodging, pushing and blocking, Chaos 4 began punching Steven all over with Steven grunting. After a few hits, Chaos 4 punched Steven downwards with Steven yelling in pain. Steven then crashed into the lake. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles gasped towards the lake. "Steven didn't even last a minute up there!" Tails says off screen as Chaos 4 landed in the lake. "Then we've gotta end this right now!" Sonic says before he jumps in the air and spins. Dr. Eggman feels the strong breeze hit his face. "Watch out, Chaos 4!" Dr. Eggman says as Sonic was spinning towards Chaos 4. Sonic spins through Chaos 4 and Chaos 4 splattered while sinking into the lake. Chaos' liquid then floats in the lake. Tails watched while Knuckles was pulling Steven out of the lake. "Yeah! That finished it off for sure!" Tails says before Sonic lands next to him. "I'll play with it some other time" Sonic says, "Steven, are you okay?" Knuckles asked as he helped Steven up. "I knew'd he'd be the strongest opponent I've ever faced, but I still didn't think it'd be over this quickly... Not the ending I wanted" Steven says, "Well Don't worry now. Chaos has been defeated for now" Knuckles says before he, Steven, Sonic and Tails look up to the right. "Well, Eggman, Chaos had a meltdown!" Sonic says, "It's not over..." Dr. Eggman says before his Egg Mobile shines a light on Chaos' liquid. This caused Chaos' liquid to be collected inside the Egg Mobile. "This round, you got a lucky break, but next time, you'll just get broken!" Dr. Eggman says before the light disappears. Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile then turns around before flying away. "Count on it, Sonic!" Dr. Eggman says. Sonic then raises his fist. "Dream on, Eggman!" Sonic says before he, Steven, Tails and Knuckles gasped at the same time to see the Egg Carrier flying away. "Thanks again..." Dr. Eggman says off screen.

At the Egg Carrier, the Egg Mobile was really close to it. "...For the Chaos Emeralds..." Dr. Eggman says before the Egg Carrier shines a green beacon at the Egg Mobile. "Keep up the good work! Adieu... Until we meet again, my friends... Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before he was inside and the green light disappears.

Back on the ground, Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles watch the Egg Carrier fly away. Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles then look at each other. "Dr. Eggman will be more powerful now 'cause I dropped those emeralds..." Tails says before he looks at the ground. "I'm really sorry, guys" Tails says, "Forget it. We'll get those emeralds back" Sonic says before he turns to Steven and Knuckles. "Right, guys?" Sonic asked, "You guys go and take Steven with you! I have some unfinished business to take care of" Knuckles says before Steven turns to Knuckles. "Are you sure, Knuckles?" Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. You've taken a lot damage against Chaos and I don't want to drag you everywhere in the condition you're in. I'll look for the rest of the Master Emerald pieces while you take it easy" Knuckles says before Steven sighs. "Okay, then. Good luck, Knuckles" Steven says Knuckles lends Steven to Sonic. "We'll take the X-Tornado and fly after Eggman!" Tails says, "Yeah!" Sonic says before he turns to Knuckles. "We'll take care of everything here! Steven will be just fine" Sonic says before Knuckles nodded and runs off. "Come on, let's get going!" Tails says.

STATION SQUARE

Back at Station Square, people were doing their normal errands with vehicles driving by on the streets. Amy was then seen walking around the area. Suddenly, a shadow cast over the area, making Amy stop and look up. "That's funny, the sky is getting dark, but there wasn't anything in the forecast about it raining today. Is there an eclipse today, or what?" Amy asked before everyone else looks up to see the Egg Carrier flying above Station Square. Amy then gasped a bit. "Eggman? Can it be?" Amy asked.

SKY CHASE

Back above Station Square, the Egg Carrier flew by and the X-Tornado was seen flying after it.

Back on the ground, Amy noticed the X-Tornado. "The X Tornado...!" Amy says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails and Steven were in the first two seats while Sonic was on top of the window capsule. "Stay on him, Tails" Sonic says, "We're almost there!" Steven says.

Outside of the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado fired at the Egg Carrier. The Egg Carrier had turrets and fired at the X-Tornado while the X-Tornado dodges them with maneuvers. The X-Tornado then flew closer while turrets continued firing.

Inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman saw the X-Tornado on the monitors. "They're closing in! Now, I can't miss!" Dr. Eggman says before he chuckles and pushes a lever.

Back outside of the Egg Carrier, a new turret was rising from a platform before it began to fire.

Back at the X-Tornado, Sonic, Steven and Tails saw the fire power. "That turret's gonna give us problems!" Steven says, "I'll have to knock that thing out!" Tails says,

Back at the Egg Carrier, the X-Tornado got closer while the new turret continued firing. The X-Tornado goes up and the turret fires at it upwards. The X-Tornado ascends higher above the Egg Carrier.

Back inside the X-Tornado, the aim slowly locked on the turret with dings. "Missiles away!" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado fired missiles. The missiles then hit the turret and the turret explodes. As the turret exploded, it caused a big crack to form on the Egg Carrier with smoke flying around. Suddenly, a baby blue bird flies out of the Egg Carrier.

Back in the skies, the baby blue bird began to descends downwards while there was something shining around it.

Back on the ground, the Egg Carrier continues flying. "Something just fell out of Eggman's ship! Wonder what's that...!?" Amy asked. Suddenly, wailing was coming from the baby blue bird as it was about to crash. The baby blue bird then hits Amy on the head. "Ow!" Amy says before she falls on the ground. The baby blue bird them whimpers as it fell on the ground. The baby blue bird was also seen wearing a color that looked like it had the Cyan Chaos Emerald. Amy then groans while sitting up. "Ouch! My head's not a landing pad, buddy!" Amy says before she looks at the baby blue bird. Amy then scoops the baby blue bird in her hands while the baby blue bird whimpers. Amy then stands up. "You poor little thing. Are you hurt?" Amy asked before the baby blue bird whimpers while moving a bit.

Back above Station Square, the Egg Carrier had a smoke trail from behind while the X-Tornado continued flying after it.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Sonic, Steven and Tails look at the Egg Carrier. "Here we go!" Steven says, "Let's finish him!" Sonic says, "Ready when you guys are, Sonic and Steven!" Tails says.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman was ready to take action. "Prepare to fire Eggman Cannon!" Dr. Eggman says before turning to the right. "I want them knocked out of the sky!" Dr. Eggman says as Decoe and Bocoe were seen at another control station. "Affirmative, Doctor" Decoe says before he types. "Charging sequence proceeding" Decoe says before Bocoe began typing. "Barrier shield activated. Antishock systems are online!" Bocoe says, "Let's blow the X Tornado away!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside of the Egg Carrier, the Eggman Cannon was seen before it began to charge up. "FIRE!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as the Eggman Cannon fired a big electrical blast.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Steven and Tails gasped a bit. "Look out!" Steven says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, the electrical blast was about to hit the X-Tornado, but as the X-Tornado moves out the way a bit, the electrical blast cuts the left wing with bangs.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails was sweat dropping while the X-Tornado shakes. "He hit our wing!" Tails says, "Brace yourselves!" Steven says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado began to descend downwards with a trail smoke flying from behind as it twirled. Sonic was also seen hanging on tightly.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Steven saw Sonic hanging on before looking forward. "I've gotta save Sonic!" Steven says before he takes his straps off and stands up. Tails then turns around and gasped. "Steven, what are you doing!?" Tails asked while, "I'm gonna save Sonic!" Steven asked before he pushes the capsule window open. This caused a strong breeze to hit Tails and Steven as they shielded themselves.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic gasped as he the capsule windows open and Steven climbing out of his seat. "Steven, what are you doing!?" Sonic asked off screen as Steven held on to the seat with one hand while standing up and grunting. "Sonic, grab on! Quickly!" Steven says before he reaches his hand out. Sonic and Steven grunted as they tried to reach for each others hands. After a few seconds, they both connected their hands with Sonic letting go of the X-Tornado. "Thanks!" Sonic says before Steven pulls Sonic in his X-Tornado seat. "Wait! What are you doing now!? Steven, stop!" Sonic says, "Sonic, strap in!" Steven says before he straps Sonic in. "Steven, stop! You'll get blown away!" Tails says before Steven pulls the capsule window and closes it on Sonic and Tails.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Sonic looked at Steven. "Steven, get back in the X-Tornado!" Sonic says before Steven goes up to the capsule window. "Don't worry! I'll be fine, Sonic! I've survived worsted than this! Good luck!" Steven says before he lets go of the X-Tornado and flew away. "Steven!" Sonic and Tails said at the same time with Sonic pressing his hand against the glass window capsule.

In the skies, Steven positioned himself while sky diving. "Skydiving without a parachute again!? Just my day! I hope I land somewhere soft though!" Steven says before he positioned himself and flew in another direction.

Back on the ground of Station Square, Amy and the crowd were looking up to see the X-Tornado with a smoke trail from behind along with Steven flying out. Amy gasped a bit before running forward. "Sonic! Steven!" Amy says.

Back above Station Square, the X-Tornado was flying towards dark clouds in the sky and Steven was flying away from Station Square.

Outside of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman was laughing off screen while the Egg Carrier was flying towards the dark clouds.

At a forest, Tails was seen walking around. "Sonic! Sonic!" Tails says while he was looking around. Suddenly, rustling was heard. "Huh?" Tails asked as he turns around. Suddenly, a foot step stomps on the ground, making Tails scream. The footstep came from a E-12 Behemoth as it walked forward towards Tails. Tails than runs. Tails pants while running as the E-12 Behemoth continued chasing him. Suddenly, the Tornado 2 was seen flying.

With the Tornado 2, a glimpse of Sonic's head was seen while the Tornado 2 fires.

Back on the ground, the shots hit E-12 Behemoth, causing particles of smoke to fly out.

Back in the skies, Sonic's full face was seen.

Back on the ground, Tails stops before he turns around and looks up. "Ah! Sonic!" Tails says before he jumps as the Tornado 2 came close with Sonic holding onto Tails.

Back in the skies, Sonic brings Tails to the pilot seat. "Ugh" Tails says before he gets in the pilot seat while Sonic gets off. "You take over!" Sonic says before he stands up. "Where are you going...?" Tails asked while Sonic jumps on the front of the Tornado 2. "It's more fun up here" Sonic says.

Back on the ground, more E-12 Behemoths stomped forward while the first one was damaged with smoke flying.

Back in the skies, Sonic and Tails look down. "Sonic... what do we do now?" Tails asked, "Dive right at 'em!" Sonic says, "Okay..." Tails says as he looked nervous before looking serious. "When I'm with Sonic, I feel like I can do anything!" Tails says in his head. The Tornado 2 then flies towards the ground where the rest of the E-12 Behemoths are.

In the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Tails was seen laying on the couch sleeping while having bandages over his head. Tails then began to wake up a bit. "Huh?" Tails asked, "Sonic, we did it! We stopped the robots...!" Tails says in his head. "Huh?" Tails asked as he opened his eyes wide open. "A dream? Wow... It brought back memories. I owe so much to Sonic" Tails says before he sits up from the couch. "But where am I...? Chirs' house? Huh?" Tails asked as he turns to the right. Tails looks to see Chuck with a coffee mug in his hands. Chuck then looks at Tails. "Hey! How are you feeling?" Chuck asked, "My head hurts..." Tails says as he looks up and rubbed his head. Tails then looks back at Chuck. "Where's Sonic?" Tails asked, "He's fine. Amy contacted us, when she saw you both fall down. Your piloting skills saved both of you from serious..." Chuck says before he looks at the left. "...Injury..." Chuck says before it shows Sonic watching TV the shows the Egg Carrier firing its fire power. "...Or worse" Chuck says off screen. "The skies of Station Square erupted in turmoil earlier this afternoon as Dr. Eggman battled the X Tornado" the reporter says from the tv off screen before the TV changes to a crowd of people from the ground looking up and giving mix feelings while shooting. Sonic grunts before a sound of a boom was heard. "That's so exaggerated to cause a scene like that" Chuck says as the TV then showed a couple of paramedics carrying an injured person with the crowd looking. There was also a couple of buildings with causalities and smoke rising. "Unfortunately, Eggman got away in his ship and I heard what happen to Steven" Chuck says before Tails sighs and looks down. "I'm afraid the X-Tornado sustained heavy damage" Chuck says before Tails looks forward while clenching his fists. "But were not giving up! Are we, Sonic? We're gonna get those emeralds back somehow and find Steven!" Tails says before Sonic turns around and gives a thumbs up. "You bet we are!" Sonic says before Tails gives a thumbs up. Chuck then looks at Sonic. "Amy and Cream went out shopping" Chuck says before Sonic looks at him. "I hope they make it back here without any trouble" Chuck says off screen. "I'll check on 'em" Sonic says before he stands up. "I hope you're okay out there, Steven" Sonic says in his head.

Back at Station Square, Amy, Cream, Cheese and the baby blue bird were walking and flying on the sidewalks while Amy, Cream and Cheese held onto grocery bags. "Sonic and Tails were pretty banged up but they'll feel a lot better after they eat the gourmet meal we cook for them" Amy says, "Yeah. Now, I could try out all the fancy recipes that Ella taught me" Cream says before Amy looks behind a bit. "Right, Cream. It will be the best meal ever" Amy says before she looks forward. "Chao. Chao" Cheese says in annoyance, making Cream and Amy look at them. "I'm very sorry, Cheese, you can help us cook too" Amy says, "Chao. Chao" Cheese says as they looked happy. Cream then looks at Amy. "Do you think Steven is okay out there, Amy?" Cream asked, "I hope so, Cream. That was a risky move he pulled to save Sonic, but I know he did it because he likes to puts his friends first before himself" Amy says, "Yeah, that sounds just like Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps. Amy then looks at the baby blue bird. "You recovered from your fall..." Amy says before the baby blue bird looks at Amy. "...Pretty fast, little bird" Amy says, "I wonder where this flicky came from and if she has a name" Cream says before the baby blue bird chirped, causing Amy, Cream and Cheese to stop going forward. "We can't understand you" Amy says, "We don't speak bird" Cream says before Amy looks forward. "Hey, maybe we should give you a name" Amy says before she looks at the baby blue bird. "I know, what if we call you Lily?" Amy asked as the baby blue bird that is now known as Lily chirps happily. "She likes that name, Amy" Cream says, "Huh! Then Lily it is. Where ever you come from, Lily. I promise I'll protect you all the way and get you back home... Huh?" Amy asked as she looked forward. In front of everyone was a robot named E-100 ZERO. "Subject identified" E-100 ZERO says as it drove forward. "What's this thing?" Amy asked as E-100 ZERO continued looking at them.

At another part of Station Square, Amy screams off screen. "Ahhhhh! Son-ic! Help!" Amy says off screen. Sonic was also seen from the area before looking up. "Amy!" Sonic says.

Back to where Amy, Lily, Cream and Cheese were, all the groceries were seen laying on the ground. Sonic then came out from an alley way before he stops and gasped. Amy screams off screen again, causing Sonic to look on the right. Amy was holding on to Lily while being captured by E-100 ZERO. "Let me go you bolt brain! Let us down! Let us go!" Amy says while Lily chirped. Cream and Cheese were seen sitting on the ground with the rest of the groceries out of the bags and the Piko Piko Hammer on the ground. "Please, somebody help her!" Cream says, "Chao. Chao" Cheese says before Sonic runs pass them. "Hold on, Amy!" Sonic says. Amy hears Sonic before reaching her hand out. "Aaaagh! Sonic! Help!" Amy says before she tries to get loose while panting. "Hey, watch it you hunka junk, let us down! I mean it! Let us go!" Amy says, "Hey there, bolt brain! You better give Amy to me, or I'll squash ya!" Sonic says before a shadow cast over the area, causing Sonic to stop and look around. "Hey, what's happening here?" Sonic asked before he and Amy look up to see the Egg Carrier. "Mission accomplished" E-100 ZERO says before Amy gasped. A green light shoots down at E-100 ZERO, Amy and Lily before they were floating up towards the Egg Carrier with Amy screaming. Sonic looks up to see E-100 ZERO, Amy and Lily go to the Egg Carrier. "Stop! Amy!" Sonic says.

Back at the Egg Carrier, Amy and Lily scream. "Help! Sonic! Help us!" Amy says before she, Lily and E-100 ZERO went inside the Egg Carrier with the green light disappearing.

Back on the ground, Sonic didn't know what to do now. "Shoot, I've lost her!" Sonic says before the Egg Carrier began to fly off. Now all Sonic could do now was hope that he could save Amy and pray that Steven is safe out there somewhere.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! After nearly surviving my risky move to save Sonic and Tails, I was suddenly brought back to the past to meet the Knuckles Clan's Princess: Tikal. Whoever Tikal really is, she seemed to know more about the chant and the Chaos Emeralds. I eventually met up with Knuckles afterwards and stayed with him to help find more missing pieces of the Master Emerald. Meanwhile, Big and Chris managed to find Froggy, but one of Eggman's new E-100 Series Robots found him first! Now they chased it all the way to the Egg Carrier. With Amy and Lily being held prisoners, the E-100 Series Robot named Gamma set them free all of a sudden. I don't know why, but I have a feeling Gamma might not be so evil after all. Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails were gonna go after the Egg Carrier again, but they're gonna need all the help they can get! The chase for the Egg Carrier begins once again! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Amy the Captive" ("A Robot Rebels"). Here we go!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
