Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

Panda39: Nice to see you add some scene and dialogue from the old Game.

fflyboyray - I'm glad you do. Since most of Sonic X's Season 2 Sagas are based on the original games, might as well put in the original dialauge and cutscenes as well.

dbehi1: Steven! Do you see the monitors? They contain powers such as giving you an extra life, more rings, becoming invincible and giving you shields that protect you in one hit without losing rings when you break them, the normal shield can protect you and that's it, the fire shield can burn down wooden bridges and lets you do a fire dash attack in the air, the electric shield can let you double jump and attracts all rings to you, and the water shield lets you breathe underwater and lets you do a bounce attack while airborne, these can help you out of a tough spot, be sure to grab them! not only can rings let you become powerful and attack, but they also act as your defence, when you have at least 1 ring you won't die in one hit.

fflyboyray - Well Steven may not see it, but you can imagine him as a playable character in Sonic Adventure.

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

A flashback from last Chapter/Episode plays with E-100 ZERO capturing Amy and Lily while Amy tried breaking free from it's grip. "Mission accomplished" E-100 ZERO says before Amy gasped. A green light shoots down at E-100 ZERO, Amy and Lily before they were floating up towards the Egg Carrier that was seen from the sky with Amy screaming. Sonic looks up to see E-100 ZERO, Amy and Lily go towards the Egg Carrier. "Stop! Amy!" Sonic says.

Back at the Egg Carrier, Amy and Lily scream. "Help! Sonic! Help us!" Amy says before she, Lily and E-100 ZERO went inside the Egg Carrier with the green light disappearing.

Back on the ground, Sonic didn't know what to do now. "Shoot, I've lost her!" Sonic says before the Egg Carrier began to fly off. Now he's gonna need more help to save Amy this time.

Amy the Captive (A Robot Rebels)

At Mystic Ruins over 3000 years ago, Steven was seen passed out on the ground. Steven moans a bit while tossing and turning before he opened his eyes wide open. "Huh!?" Steven asked before he sits up from the ground. Steven then rubs his head while shutting his eyes. "Ow... My head... What happened anyway...?" Steven asked before he gasped.

A flashback shows Steven saving Sonic before he flew off in another direction in the skies.

Back to reality, Steven remembers. "That's right! I saved Sonic and I... Wait! Sonic and Tails! Are they okay!?" Steven asked before he stands up. "I've gotta get... Huh?" Steven asked before he looked at his surroundings. "Did I land in Mystic Ruins...? Wait... This all looks familiar..." Steven says off screen as he looked at the Lost World building. "Am I back in the past...? Did that Orb bring me here to save me from the fall...? It did. I wonder why it brought me back here again? Well since I'm here already, I guess I could explore more of this area. I just have to be careful when I'm around those Echidnas" Steven says before he began to explore the whole area. As Steven explored the Lost World area, he received different expressions and mutters from the Knuckles Tribe. "They still don't like to welcome their guests, huh? Oh well then" Steven says before he looks at the Lost World buildings. "I'll admit, this place really is interesting. I wonder if theres history about those Echidnas and this area in Mystic Ruins anywhere? I sure would like to study all this when I get back, but it's still strange for that Orb to show me all of this. Is that Orb trying to tell me what happened back then? If it is, then what could it be...?" Steven asked in his head. "The servers are the 7 Chaos Emeralds" Tikal says with the female same tone voice from before says off screen. This caused Steven to stop and gasped. "That voice again!" Steven says before he looks around. "Where did it...?" Steven asked before he gasped at something he noticed. From a distance away from Steven was Tikal by the staircase to the Lost World building. "Wait... Did those words come from... her?" Steven asked in his head. Tikal turns around and looks at Steven. "Hello there, friend. How are you?" Tikal asked before she places her hands behind her back. Steven then shakes his head a bit. "Huh? Who? Me?" Steven asked while pointing to himself. This caused Tikal to giggle a bit. "Yes, you. Come over here" Tikal says, "Oh... Okay then" Steven says before he goes up to Tikal. "Are you new to these areas?" Tikal says before Steven rubbed his head. "Oh. Uhh... Yeah, I guess you can say that. I'm... a traveler" Steven says, "A traveller? Wow. You must have explored many different places before" Tikal says, "Yeah, that's right" Steven says, "That's really interesting" Tikal says before she sighs. "What's wrong?" Steven asked, "Oh. I'm sorry, did I seemed out of sort?" Tikal says, "Just a little bit, but it's okay if you are. I don't mind. If somethings bothering you, I'll be glad to help if you like" Steven says, "Really?" Tikal asked, "Yeah. Helping anyone is one of my biggest traits" Steven says before Tikal smiled. "Okay, then. You see, I wish that my father would let me travel at a great distance like you do, but he's always over protective towards me that I can only travel at a short distance. It makes me feel trapped inside" Tikal says, "Really?" Steven asked, "Yes" Tikal says, "Well I'm sure your father has a good reason to be protective to you. He probably wants to keep you safe from any danger that could happen" Steven says, "Yes, you're right, but it's not only to keep me safe, it's because I play an important role in this part of Mystic Ruins. I'm the princess of the Knuckles Tribe" Tikal says, "You're a princess?" Steven asked, "Yes. My father Pachacamac is the Chief of the Knuckles Tribe and he won't let me go anywhere unless I tell him or his men" Tikal says, "His men? He leads a group of some sort?" Steven asked, "Yes. All the Echidnas in this region of Mystic Ruins follow my father's orders without question. It's been that way ever since his mother who is also my grandmother died" Tikal says before looked shocked a bit. "Since then, my father has been in greed for power to keep our Tribe strong and powerful by invading our neighbors territories and expand the Tribe" Tikal says, "It sounds like your father is someone that only makes decisions for himself and not think about everyone else's opinions about them" Steven says, "Yes. That is what he is. And since I'm his daughter, I don't have a choice but to follow his orders too" Tikal says, "Listen, whatever decisions your father makes that you think is not right, you don't have to always follow those orders" Steven says before Tikal looked surprised. "I believe a lot people can make their own decisions and not always have to follow someone else's. It's part of being independent. I learned that awhile ago and it really helped me a lot. So the next time your father makes a decision and you don't like it, just tell him you won't do it or tell him not to do it. I can tell you're a strong Echidna and you should believe that too" Steven says. Tikal then smiled a bit. "Thank you. I may just do that if that's the best idea" Tikal says, "Your welcome. Anyway, umm... I heard you saying something about "The 7 Chaos Emeralds", what is that about?" Steven asked, "Huh? Oh. It's something my grandmother taught me" Tikal says, "Before she died...?" Steven asked, "Yes. I'm never to forget it. It goes like this... 'The servers are the 7 Chaos'" Tikal says, "She's saying the chant with the same tone of voice..." Steven says in his head. "'Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart'. 'The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos'" Tikal says, "I knew it... She's the source of the voice from that chant... She's the one that could possibly know more about Chaos, the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds" Steven says in his head. "But I'm still not sure what it all means" Tikal says, "I'm sure you will eventually, but it does sound interesting" Steven says, "Yes. I hope so, but the number 7... Is the same as the number of Emeralds there are" Tikal says, "Bingo! I was right all along!" Steven says and chuckles in his head. "Emeralds, huh?" Steven asked, "Yes. Oh!" Tikal says, "What's wrong?" Steven asked, "Forgive me, but I don't think we've properly introduced ourselves..." Tikal says, "Oh yeah! That's right! I completely forgot about that. How could I have forgotten the most important part when talking to someone new" Steven says before Tikal laughs a bit. "It's okay. Anyway, I'm Tikal... And you are?" Tikal asked before she puts her hands behind her back. Steven then points to himself. "I'm..." Steven says before he noticed something. "...Steven..." Steven says before a bright light surrounds the whole area.

At a forest in Mystic Ruins at present day, Steven appeared. Steven then looked around. "I must be back in the present" Steven says before he looks at the sky. "Tikal... So that's her name. Tikal's the one that says the chant about the Chaos Emeralds. I've finally found the source to that prayer. But it doesn't make sense for how she or her grandmother know about the Chaos, the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds. I'll have to keep that in mind the next time I'm sent to the past, but right now I've gotta get out of here and find Eggman and Chaos before they have all 7 Chaos Emeralds in their possession. So I better get to it!" Steven says before he runs off. "Hmm... Tikal..." Steven says in his head.

At the docks where the E-99 Egg Emperor battle took place 6 six months ago, it was cloudy and muggy with seagulls chirping off screen while Angel Island and Mystic Ruins can be seen from afar.

At Mystic Ruins, Knuckles was looking at a waterfall. "I was supposed to guard the Master Emerald, but now I only have 12 pieces of it" Knuckles says in his head as he held a bag that had the pieces of the Master Emerald before closing his eyes. "What's the use in going on? It's over, I failed" Knuckles says in his head.

In Knuckles' head, it showed the Master Emerald Shrine over 3000 years ago with huge flames all over the place with fire crackling. Tikal was then seen looking at the sight in shock.

Back with Steven, he stopped running and looked confused a bit. "Huh? What was that? What did I just see there?" Steven asked.

Back with Knuckles, Knuckles opened his eyes and gasped. Knuckles then looks at the bag of the pieces of the Master Emerald. "Standing around feeling sorry for myself won't make things right. I couldn't stop the Master Emerald from being destroyed but I can gather what's left... I wasted enough time moping, I'd better get on with the search" Knuckles says before he runs forward. Knuckles began climbing on rock walls with rocks cracking.

Back with Steven, he continued running. "Whatever I just saw there has to do with Tikal because from where she was looked like the alter for the Master Emerald" Steven says before he notices Knuckles reaching the top of a platform. "That's Knuckles!" Steven says before he runs forward. Knuckles hears footsteps before he looks forward to see Steven. "Steven!" Knuckles says before Steven stops in front of Knuckles. "Hey, Knuckles! Glad to see you around" Steven says, "I guess, but what are you doing, Steven? I thought you was with Sonic and Tails in the X-Tornado" Knuckles says, "I was, but I got separated when we tried to chase the Egg Carrier. I'm on my own for right now" Steven says, "I see. Well you can stick with me for now until we found find the rest of the pieces to the Master Emerald because I was about to keep searching" Knuckles says, "Okay then. Where to?" Steven asked as he looked around. "I'm not sure yet" Knuckles says before the Orb flew up to them. Steven and Knuckles then turn to the Orb. "I'm not even gonna say it" Steven says before the Orb flew around Steven and Knuckles before flying in a direcions. "Here we go" Steven says before he and Knuckles

Outside of the Garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, the palm trees lay flat around the runaway. Jet engine revs off screen before it reveals the X-Tornado on the runway. "Ready for take off Sonic!?" Tails asked off screen, "Ready! Let's go!" Sonic says off screen, "Roger!" Tails says off screen. The X-Tornado's jet engines whirs before it began driving off. The X-Tornado then began lifting itself off the ground. The X-Tornado then flies off with a jet swoosh.

In the skies, the X-Tornado's lower wings got in position. The X-Tornado then zooms further in the sky.

Back at the Garage of the Thorndyke Mansion, Mr. Tanaka bowed and Chuck had his arms crossed as they looked up. "I only hope..." Chuck says before Mr. Tanaka looks at him. "...They'll be able to find Amy and Steven. With Eggman and those crazy robots of his, who knows what could happen to Amy" Chuck says, "I'm sure that Sonic won't give up until he brings them back here safe and sound" Mr. Tanaka says, "Sure" Chuck says before he closes his eyes.

Inside the Garage, Cream, Cheese and Ella looked outside with Cream grasping her hands. "Do you think she's okay...?" Cream asked before Ella looks at her. "Chao. Chao" Cheese says before Ella bents down to Cream a bit and Cream and Cheese look at her. "Don't you worry, Cream, I'm sure she's just fine" Ella says.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado continued flying.

Inside the X-Tornado, Tails looked serious while Sonic looked at him. "You shouldn't try to take on Eggman so soon" Sonic says before Tails turns to Sonic with one eye closed. "I feel fine! I can handle him, Sonic" Tails says, "You're a great pilot, Tails, but I better do this alone" Sonic says as he reached the glass capsule window. "Wait, Sonic!" Tails says before Sonic looks at him. "We are a team" Tails says before he closes his eyes from the breeze. "We have to figure out where Eggman took Amy and find Steven. It'll be easier with two of us looking" Tails says before he opens his eyes and looks forward. "Amy's probably in danger and Steven could be somewhere far so there's no time to lose... ...Let's both look, Sonic, I know we can find them" Tails says.

Outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic was seen outside. "Well, I guess we do have a better chance working together" Sonic says. Tails turns his head towards Sonic. "Right, we're a team" Tails says before he realized Sonic was outside. "But, if you're staying on the plane, how come you're outside?" Tails asked, "It's more fun to ride the X-Tornado outside in the open air" Sonic says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails responds. "Okay, you better hold on tight" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic gives a thumbs up. "YEAH!" Sonic says. The engines on the X-Tornado boosted up before it flew faster. "Hold on, Amy and Steven, we'll find you guys!" Sonic says.

EMERALD COAST

At Emerald Coast, Big and Chris were seen on the beach with Big fishing. Big then throws his line in the lake. "Toss!" Big says off screen. Chris then looks at Big. "Can't you go fishing later, Big...? We have to find Froggy fast, before Dr. Eggman figures out he swallowed a Chaos Emerald" Chris says off screen while Big closed his eyes. "It may not seem like it, Chris... But I know just what I'm doing. Trust me..." Big says, "Okay..." Chris says. Suddenly, jet zooms were heard. "Huh?" Chris asked as he turns around. The X-Tornado was seen zooming in the skies. "The X-Tornado... I hope Tails is okay" Chris says while Big continued to fish.

Back at Mystic Ruins, the Egg Carrier was seen buried on the ground.

EGG CARRIER

Inside the Egg Carrier, Amy and Lily were in a prison cell with Amy holding on to the bars. "Hey! Eggman! Let me out of here!" Amy says before she looked around. Amy then collapsed on her knees with a sigh and with her eyes closed. Lily then looks at Amy. "Oh. What's the use" Amy says before Lily chirps. Amy then opens her eyes. "I was all set to make Sonic a gourmet meal, but Eggman had to spoil it" Amy says.

In Amy's imagination, it showed a lot of different dished meals and drinks on a table in Amy's apartment. "Six months have passed since I started to live alone and for weeks I've been practicing all the recipes Ella gave me" Amy says off screen before it shows Sonic looking at all the food in hunger. "Whoa" Sonic says, "I could have made my way..." Amy says off screen before it showed Amy in her cooking apron while looking happy. "...Into his heart by going right through his stomach thanks to my cooking" Amy says off screen.

Back to reality, Amy continues with Lily looking at her. "And I wanted us to meet again in a more dramatic way" Amy says.

Back in Amy's imagination, it shows Station Square with Sonic walking on the sidewalk while passing a few pedestrians. Amy was then seen walking close to where Sonic was going. Amy and Sonic stopped as they noticed each other. Sonic then goes up to Amy. "Amy?" Sonic asked before he looks at her all over while Amy smiles and closes her eyes. "Wow! You've changed a lot, Amy" Sonic says, "I've been going after you before... But this time it's your turn to go after me, Sonic" Amy says before she began walking away with Sonic staring at her. Sonic then clasped his hands a bit while closing his eyes. Some people stare at Amy as she walked. "Hey, Amy, wait up...!" Sonic says as he began running after Amy.

Back to reality, Amy continues. "Just like that" Amy says before she shrugs her arms. "I've even prepared what I was going to say... ...but things just turned out like this" Amy says before Lily chirps. Amy then opens her eyes while looking downwards. "But Sonic always does manage to come through" Amy says.

A flashback shows Sonic swooshing and running around a mountain area. Amy was then seen chasing after Sonic. "Hey, Sonic, wait for me!" Amy says. Suddenly, an E-12 Behemoth was about to land. The E-12 Behemoth lands in front of Amy, causing Amy to stop running and shakes to happen. Amy screams while rocks were flying around. Suddenly, a blue blur smashed through E-12 Behemoth and it caused the E-12 Behemoth to electrocute. Sonic lands before running up to Amy and grabbing her. Sonic jumps up while holding onto Amy before the E-12 Behemoth explodes from behind with fire and smoke. Amy looks at Sonic happily.

Back to reality, Amy puts her hand on her chest while having her eyes closed again. "Sonic's never let me down before, and I know he won't let me down now" Amy says. Lily chirps before Amy looks at her. "But there's...There's also Steven" Amy says.

Another flashback shows all of Steven's heroic actions from the past. "Steven has changed a lot from this half of a year and it's crazy on how fast it's been. When I first saw him, I thought he was gonna be just another one of Sonic's side kicks, but I never thought his confidence and determination would build up so fast that he became to be a big hero like Sonic. He's really shown pure kindness to everyone he cares about and he does his best to make them feel better. It's like fate brought Steven to Sonic that they would become the biggest heroic duo. And that makes me feel proud to be friends with two heroic Hedgehogs" Amy says off screen.

Back to reality, Amy opens her eyes as she sighs. "Now because of all these thoughts, I'm in a dilemma to either pick Sonic or Steven. They're both strong headed and it's hard to choose. I guess I'll have to be more patient to find out" Amy says before Lily chirps again. "Just wait and see, Lily" Amy says as Lily flies close to Amy and lands on Amy's hands. Amy brings Lily close while they both have their eyes closed. "Sonic and Steven will find us here and come to our rescue. Sonic, Steven, if either or both of you can, please hurry. I'm right here" Amy says.

In another room of the Egg Carrier, Decoe and Bocoe were fighting over the microphone while the four E-100 Series Robots were lined up. "Give it here...!" Bocoe says off screen, "No No, you give it...!" Decoe says off screen, "I want to test the microphone..." Bocoe says, "I got here first..." Decoe says, "Let go..." Bocoe says, "You'll have to wait your turn..." Decoe says, "Give it!" Bocoe says before Decoe goes up to the microphone. "Testing... one, two, three. Testing, hello, hello..." Decoe says before Bocoe extends his neck up the microphone. "Can you hear the sound of my voice!?" Bocoe asked, "Testing!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. "That's enough!" Dr. Eggman says as he shouted at Decoe and Bocoe up close, causing Decoe and Bocoe to fall down. "Now... Ahem" Dr. Eggman says before he stands up straight and looks forward. "..., The elite Egg Carrier crew, please listen carefully to a very special announcement..." Dr. Eggman says while Decoe and Bocoe stand up straight. "If you will turn your attention to the screen behind me..." Dr. Eggman says as the monitor behind him shows a 360 degrees view of Froggy. "...You will see a rather unusual froggy. You will notice our little amphibian friend is sporting of all things, a tail. Very unique! That is what makes him so special. Your mission is to get the jump on this froggy and bring it back here to the Egg Carrier. I don't care what it takes to get it. Just bring it to me! Is that clear?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen before all the E-100 Series Robots raises their right arms as they saluted. "Yes, Doctor" E-104 Epsilon says, "Yes, Doctor" E-102 Gamma says, "Yes, Doctor" E-103 Delta says, "Yes, Doctor" E-105 Zeta says, "My plans depend on catching that froggy. Go now and don't fail me!" Dr. Eggman says as he pointed forward. A door opens and the E-100 Series Robots began running out.

At an Ancient Temple called Lost World in Mystic Ruins, Steven and Knuckles were gliding downwards with swoosh. "Down there, Knuckles!" Steven says before he and Knuckles land and went inside Lost World Temple.

LOST WORLD

Inside Lost World Temple, Steven and Knuckles entered a room before stopping and gasping. In front of them was a tall stand that had 3 more pieces of the Master Emerald sparkling on top. "Three more, Steven!" Knuckles says, "These could be the last pieces!" Steven says before he and Knuckles jump and climb to the top. Steven and Knuckles reached the top and looked at the pieces in shock. "Here it goes..." Steven says before Knuckles placed his hand on one of the pieces. Suddenly, the Orb flew around Steven and Knuckles before a bright light surrounds them.

At an area over 3000 years ago, Steven and Knuckles appeared. Steven and Knuckles then looks around. "Where are we?" Knuckles asked, 'It looks like we're in an open fielded area" Steven says, "This is very strange. Huh?" Knuckles asked, "What's wrong?" Steven asked before he and Knuckles saw the shrine of the Master Emerald. "That's..." Knuckles says before he runs forward. "Huh? Knuckles, wait up!" Steven says before he runs after Knuckles.

At the shrine, the Chaos Emeralds were on top of tall statues that were around the shrine. Knuckles and Steven then stop at a distance. "The Master Emerald Alter" Knuckles says, "If that's here, does that mean we're on Angel Island?" Steven asked before looking around. "But Angel Island should be floating and the Master Emerald should be shattered" Steven says off screen. "Your right, Steven. We must be in the past again" Knuckles says, "If so, that Orb is definitely trying to tell us something" Steven says, "Well I'm about to find out now. Come on" Knuckles says before he goes up the steps with Steven following from behind. At the top of the steps, Steven and Knuckles stop and gasped a bit. In front of them was Tikal looking at the Master Emerald. "Tikal..." Steven says before Knuckles looked at him in confusion. "Huh? Tikal?" Knuckles asked, "Huh?" Tikal asked before she turns around and saw Steven and Knuckles. "Oh! Steven!" Tikal says before she walked up to Steven. "How did you get here?" Tikal asked, "Well as I said, Tikal. I'm a traveler. I go everywhere" Steven says before he chuckles and Tikal giggles. "I can see you weren't lying" Tikal says, "Nope" Steven says before he chuckles a bit. Tikal then notices Knuckles. "Who's this, Steven? Is he your friend?" Tikal asked, "Oh! Yeah, this is..." Steven says before Knuckles gestures his hand in a way of saying "Don't say my real name". "... Idris" Steven says and Knuckles sighs in relief. "Idris, huh?" Tikal asked before she walks up to Knuckles. "Umm... Do I know you from somewhere?" Tikal asked before Knuckles looked nervous while sweat dropping. "Uhh... I don't think so" Knuckles says, "Hmm?" Tikal asked, "Idris told me he recently became a new member of the Knuckles Tribe. I was around the area and decided to be friends with him. Since we both are new to these places after all" Steven says, "Oh okay. That makes sense" Tikal says before Knuckles gives Steven a thumbs up. "But how did know where this place is?" Tikal says before Steven looked nervous. "Oh well..." Steven says, "We were taking a walk around the area and we saw this place in interest" Knuckles says, "Ah. I see" Tikal says before Steven gives Knuckles a thumbs up. "So what is this place, Tikal?" Steven asked, "This place is actually an ancient shrine of Mystic Ruins. I'm surprised you two were able to enter. I was about to give my prayers to the protector of this shrine" Tikal says before she turns around and clasped her hands. "I beg you. Hear me out. I'm very frightened. Help us. My father and his men are coming here soon. You and everyone must flee! Oh please!" Tikal says before a pool of water around the shrine made some movement and water drop noises. Steven and Knuckles watched the pool of water make movement. "Is she speaking to... Chaos...? Is her father gonna come here...?" Steven asked in his head. "Yes" Tikal says before Steven looks at Tikal again. Tikal then closes her eyes. "I understand... we may flee but you must stay here. I'll try to talk to my father again!" Tikal says before she opens her eyes. "There must be a better way to do this" Tikal says. Suddenly, five wild Chaos' appeared out of no where. This caused Steven to look at them. "What are these Chaos' doing here?" Steven asked in his head. The five Chaos began to whimper while looking at each other. The five wild Chaos' then fly around Tikal, causing Tikal to open her eyes and look at them. "Oh, don't worry, my friends. I promise everything is going to be fine" Tikal says, "Chao!" the five wild Chaos' said at the same time happily. Tikal then turns around before running. "I must do something... quickly" Tikal says before she ran pass Steven and Knuckles. "Tikal, where are you going?" Steven asked before Tikal turns back to them. "I... I have to... Uh..." Tikal says before she runs off. "Tikal, wait!" Steven says as he was about to chase after Tikal, but another bright light surrounds the area.

On Angel Island in present time, Knuckles was seen at the bottom of the stair case of the shrine of the Master Emerald. "I see... This is where Tikal was to the alter where the Master Emerald was! But why, why? Who is she anyway? This is beginning to blow my mind! Maybe... Is she trying to tell us something?" Knuckles says before he looks down and digs in the bag that had the rest of the pieces to the Master Emerald. "Yes" Knuckles says before he takes a few of the pieces of the Master Emerald out. "It must have something to do with the Master Emerald and that Orb. If I could only figure out what it means. Steven, did you..." Knuckles says before he notices Steven wasn't in the area. "Steven? Steven!" Knuckles says as he looked around. "Where did he go? Wherever he is, I hope he's okay. Now I have to restore these pieces to where they belong" Knuckles says before he puts the pieces of the Master Emerald away. Knuckles then runs up the stairs and goes up to what's left of the Master Emerald. Knuckles positions his hands and the pieces of the Master Emerald fly out of the bag and around Knuckles' hands as they glow. Knuckles throws the pieces upwards and the pieces began to fly down and form together to where the Master Emerald was. Another bright light appears before it dies out to show the Master Emerald was almost complete as it glowed. There were three spaces on the Master Emerald indicating three more pieces were left. "It's almost restored, three pieces left. I'll just have to keep looking wherever they are. Huh" Knuckles says as he looks forward a bit. The Egg Carrier was seen on the Master Emerald before Knuckles walked closer to it. "That's Eggman's Flying Fortress! Why would the Master Emerald show me this? Maybe it's a warning. Eggman must be up to something dangerous" Knuckles says off screen before he growls.

At Mystic Ruins, Steven appeared around the area before he looks around. "Looks like I'm back in the present again" Steven says before he looks around. "I hope Knuckles' okay" Steven says before he walked around. "With the way Tikal reacted back there, sounded like something was about to happen and she looked worried. Now I'm curious. Something about her father going to the shrine of the Master Emerald, but what could it be? It still doesn't explain anything about what happened to Chaos and now I'm seeing wild Chaos' around that area. This is all really confusing" Steven says before he holds his head and closes his eyes. "If I could only put the pieces together, I would be able to figure this out, but there's still not a lot to know" Steven says before he opens his eyes and takes a deep breath. "Alright. If I'm gonna get to the bottom of all this, I have to keep going. I've gotta get out of here and find the rest of the Chaos Emeralds as well as everybody else" Steven says before he runs.

Back at Emerald Coast, E-104 Epsilon was digging through tall grass. "Must find froggy" E-103 Delta says off screen as it was looking around. "Froggy here somewhere..." E-104 Epsilon says, "Must bring froggy home..." E-103 Delta says, "Froggy not easy to find..." E-105 Zeta says as both E-105 Zeta and E-102 Gamma were digging in the tall grass. "Must keep looking..." E-103 Delta says before E-102 Gamma stands up. "Find froggy..." E-102 Gamma says before it turns its head to the right. "...Make Doctor happy" E-102 Gamma says as it saw Chris and Big fishing in front of E-102 Gamma. A yellow frog then hopped in the area. E-104 Epsilon then picks it up. "I found froggy" E-104 Epsilon says as it lifted the yellow frog up. E-103 Delta then picks up a red frog before lifting it up. "No, I found froggy" E-103 Delta says before it shows E-105 Zeta holding a pink frog. "No, I found froggy" E-105 Zeta says before E-102 Gamma looked nervous. E-102 Gamma then digs through the tall grass again.

Back with Big and Chris, Big blinked his eyes. "Hmm" Big says before a silhouette of Froggy pulled on the rod. "Something's biting, Chris!" Big says before he pulled on his fishing pole. "Real it in, Big! Hurry!" Chris says.

Back with the E-100 Series Robots, E-102 Gamma stands up a bit. "There he is! Froggy!" Big says off screen before E-102 Gamma turns it's head to the right. "There he is!" Big says before it showed Big holding Froggy from the rod with Chris looking shocked. "Look, Chris!" Big says.

Back with Big and Chris, they were looking at Froggy. "I found Froggy! Not too bad, huh, Chris?" Big asked, "Hey, that's great, Big!" Chris says before a robotic hand snatches Froggy away from the rod. "Oh!" Chris says and Big gasped. "Froggy?" Big asked. Chris and Big gasped and turn around. "Uh oh!" Big says as E-102 Gamma was running while holding Froggy. "I found the real froggy! Frog captured complete!" E-102 Gamma says. Big then ran after E-102 Gamma. "NO, hold on there! Come back, please!" Big says before Chris ran after Big. "Big, wait for me!" Chris says, "Give me my friend back! I'm bgeggin' ya, please!" Big says.

Back inside the Egg Carrier, there were lights indicating the E-100 Series Robots with E-103 Delta, E-104 Epsilon and E-105 Zeta's on before E-102 Gamma's light up with a beep. Decoe and Bocoe were looking at the lights. "Gamma has found a frog, as well, Doctor" Bocoe says before Decoe looks to the right. "That makes a total of four froggies" Decoe says, "Bring them all back here immediately" Dr. Eggman says.

Back at Mystic Ruins a little while later, Steven continued running before he stopped as running metal foot steps were heard. "Huh? What's that noise?" Steven asked before he saw the E-100 Series Robots running from afar. "Are those robots?" Steven says before he saw Chris and Big chased after the E-100 Series Robots. "Come back!" Chris says, "Froggy! Please, stop!" Big says, "Chris and Big too? I better go see what's going on!" Steven says before he jumps.

Back with Big and Chris, they stoped and gasped to see the E-100 Series Robots marching into Dr. Eggman's temporal base through the bridged tunnel. Steven eventually went up to Big and Chris. "Hey, guys" Steven says before Big and Chris look at him. "Steven, perfect timing!" Chris says, "What's going on? Why were you chasing robots?" Steven asked, "They've taken Froggy!" Big says, "We found Froggy, but one of them took him out of our hands" Chris says before he, Big and Steven look at the temporal base. "They must be retreating inside Eggman's base" Steven says off screen. Chris then turns to Big and Steven. "Then let's follow 'em. Hurry" Chris says, "Okay" Big says, "Right!" Steven says as he, Chris and Big ran inside before the door closed.

Inside the tunnel, Chris, Big and Steven continued running before the Orb appeared and flew around Steven. "Huh?" Steven asked before a bright light appears.

Above Mystic Ruins, birds were flying before the Egg Carrier was seen rising from the ground, causing dirt to fly all over the place. The Egg Carrier eventually began to fly above Mystic Ruins.

Back at the Master Emerald alter location over 3000 years ago, Steven appeared again. "I'm back here already?" Steven says before he looks at the Master Emerald Shrine. "Alright then! Let's see what's going on now" Steven says before he runs.

At the Master Emerald Shrine, there were a lot of wild Chaos' singing around the area. "Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao. Chao" the wild Chaos' said at the same time before Steven stopped and gasped. "The Chaos'..." Steven says, "Chao. Chao. Chao" the wild Chaos' said at the same time off screen before the pool of water makes movement and drips were heard. "Chao. Chao. Chao" the wild Chaos' said at the same time off screen while more movement and drips were heard from the pool of water. Steven eventually walked closer to the Chaos' before chuckling a bit. "They sure know how to form a chorus together" Steven says as he was about to walk closer. "No! Don't go any closer!" Tikal says off screen. Steven turns around and saw Tikal. "Oh! Hey, Tikal" Steven says. Tikal then gasped a bit. "Steven!" Tikal says before she puts her hands behind her back. "I'm sorry, I mistaken you for one of my father's men" Tikal says, "Oh. It's okay. I heard noises around here and wanted to see what was going. Then I run here and find these little guys singing" Steven says before Tikal went next to Steven. "Oh. I see. Well what you're seeing in front you is the ancient home of the Chaos' and their protector of Mystic Ruins. Did you notice the presence guarding these children?" Tikal asked, "A presence?" Steven asked before he observes the area. Steven then felt the presence that was really familiar. "Come to think of it, I do. Is there someone watching over them?" Steven asked, "Yes. He's a very loving and gentle creature" Tikal says while she and Steven watch the Chaos' sing. "If she's talking about Chaos, does that mean that... These Chaos' and Cheese are Chaos's children of some sort?" Steven asked in his head. "These little creatures are too vulnerable without its protection. This protection allows them to continue singing in peace" Tikal says, "I see..." Steven says, "Even I was surprised the first time I saw him. Now my father is trying to take their sacred home" Tikal says before Steven gasped a bit. "Take their sacred home? He can't just do that" Steven says, "I know, Steven, but it seems his heart is closed off to us all" Tikal says, "But still he can't just take away something that's really precious to the owners and their people. He sounds like a selfish person to me" Steven says, "I know. I understand, Steven. I do. I've said this to my father many times, but often times he doesn't listen" Tikal says, "So her father is nothing but a greedy pig. I'm not surprised for someone to act like that towards something so valuable. Now Tikal is doing everything she can to prevent anything drastic to happen. She really is a caring person... I mean Echidna!" Steven says and chuckles in his head. "All I can do now is pray that my true hope for all of us to understand each other one day. Even if it does take risked chances" Tikal says. This caused Steven to gasped again. "What?" Steven asked before a bright light surrounds the area.

Back inside the Egg Carrier, the E-100 Series Robots were huddled together while holding Froggy and the other frogs in comparison. "Mine is the real froggy" E-102 Gamma says, "No, mine is" E-105 Zeta says, "No, mine is the real one" E-104 Epsilon says, "The doctor will be so proud" E-103 Delta says. Decoe and Bocoe were then looking at the E-100 Series Robots with their hands on their hips and angry looks on their faces. "The doctor is approaching" Decoe says, "So settle down, you freaky frognappers" Bocoe says before Dr. Eggman walked forward. "Ah" Dr. Eggman says before the E-100 Series Robots lined up and continue holding Froggy and the frogs. Dr. Eggman looked E-103 Delta and E-104 Epislon's frogs before grunting. "What's this!? You dare bring back these crummy croakers!" Dr. Eggman says before he goes up to E-105 Zeta's frog while growling. "Dummies, dummies, dummies, dummies! Yaaagh!" Dr. Eggman says before he puts his hands on his head. "You clanky klutz!" Dr. Eggman says before he looks at E-105 Zeta. "This isn't the froggy I wanted! Do you see a tail anywhere!? You're lucky I don't have you flattened into scrap metal!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before E-105 Zeta points to itself. "Sorry" E-105 Zeta says before Dr. Eggman growls with a vain on his head.

HOT SHELTER

In another area in the Egg Carrier, Chris and Big looked at a hallway. "I wished Steven didn't get lost because it's like a maze in here, those robots could be anywhere" Chris says, "Yeah, but we can't stop now, they got Froggy!" Big says before Chris looks up at Big. "Come on, let's go this way" Chris says before he runs forward with Big following from behind. Chris and Big then ran towards a room.

Back in the main room of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman had his fists clenched while walking forward. "All right, you nickelplated ninnies, listen here! I am not looking for your average everyday amphibian. I am seeking a very..." Dr. Eggman says before he stops in front of E-102 Gamma. "...Special froggy with a tail that's long and pointy that belongs to Chaos! That same frog has also swallowed a Chaos Emerald! Oh!?" Dr. Eggman asked as he looks at Froggy in E-102 Gamma's arms. "Wha? Wha? Wha? This is it right here! My little chaos froggy!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before he takes Froggy out of E-102 Gamma's arms. "Yes, there's my baby" Dr. Eggman says before he looks at E-102 Gamma. "I just knew you'd be of use to me, Gamma!" Dr. Eggman says before E-102 Gamma nods it's head. "Yes, doctor" E-102 Gamma says before Dr. Eggman laughs and grunts at the the E-100 Series Robots except E-102 Gamma. The rest of the E-100 Series Robots then sweat drop. "As for the rest of you, you're useless, you worthless hunks of junks! Get out of my sight. Bocoe, get them all out of here except Gamma!" Dr. Eggman says before a remote elevates in front of Bocoe with Bocoe and Decoe looking sad. "Yes, doctor" Bocoe says before he closes his eyes and pressed the button. Suddenly, buzzing was heard as there were green lights surrounding the E-100 Series Robots except E-102 Gamma. E-102 Gamma watched the rest of the E-100 Series Robots shake before the rest of the E-100 Series Robots disappeared. The green lights then fades away and E-102 Gamma was the only one left. Bocoe then had his arms cossed while Decoe looked at him. "If you have to go, I guess that is the best way" Decoe says before he closes his eyes. "No, thanks. I want to rust away" Bocoe says. Dr. Eggman then looks at E-102 Gamma. "Gamma" Dr. Eggman says before E-102 Gamma turns to Dr. Eggman. "... You will get a new assignment! This one's easy! Go to the room through that last door" Dr. Eggman says before E-102 Gamma turns around and faces the door Dr. Eggman was talking about. "Once there, you'll find a girl and a bird. I want you to bring the bird to me. Now go!" Dr. Eggman says as he pointed forward. "Yes, doctor" E-102 Gamma says before it began walking away.

Back with Amy and Lily, they were looking at each other. "Lily, do you know what telepathy is?" Amy asked before Lily chirped. "When you care about someone, that person will always know how you feel. Just like a flower petal carried along by the wind" Amy says before she looks to the right nervously. "Sonic... Steven..." Amy says in her head.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado continued flying.

Outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic was looking forward while Tails continued flying the X-Tornado. "Sonic..." Amy says off screen, getting Sonic's attention as he looked to the left. "Amy?" Sonic asked.

Back with Steven, he was seen in the hallways of the Egg Carrier. "Where am I now?" Steven asked before he looks around. "This looks like Eggman's base" Steven says before he feels the floor. Steven kneels down and feels the Egg Carrier was flying. "But it feels like this base is flying. I must be in the Egg Carrier then. If I'm here, then Chris and Big are here too. I've gotta find them before Eggman does" Steven says, "Steven..." Amy says off screen, getting Steven's attention. "Huh? Was that Amy...?" Steven asked before a gasped was heard off screen. "Steven, is that you!?" Amy asked off screen. "Wait! Amy?" Steven asked before he looks around. "Where are you?" Steven asked before he looks around. "Steven, are you there?" Amy asked off screen before Steven looked forward. "Wait a minute. Is she talking in my head? Let me see here..." Steven asked, "Amy is that you talking?" Steven asked in his head. "Steven! Oh I'm glad I wasn't just imagining things" Amy says off screen, "Amy, what's going on? How are you talking to me in my head?" Steven asked, "Well I was talking to my bird friend Lily here about telepathy and I said your name in my head" Amy says off screen, "Oh really? Wow. That's new" Steven says in his head, "Yeah, but how did you know I said your name? I called Sonic but he didn't say anything" Amy says off screen. "I don't know, really. This is all new to me too. Maybe Sonic didn't realize you were calling him telepathically" Steven says in his head. "Maybe, but I'm glad it worked on you, Steven. You have to help us" Amy says off screen. "What's wrong?" Steven asked in his head, "Eggman's robot captured me and Lily and now were being held prisoners in his Flying Fortress. Sonic tried to save us, but it was too late" Amy says off screen, "Eggman's Flying Fortress?" Steven asked in his head, "Yes, but you'll have to get Sonic and Tails and use the X-Tornado because I think we've taken off somewhere in the skies" Amy says off screen before Steven then chuckles. "I don't think I need to because I'm also inside the Egg Carrier" Steven says in his head before Amy gasped off screen. "Really, Steven!? You are!?" Amy asked off screen, "Yeah. Me, Chris and our new friend Big were chasing robots to get Big's frog friend Froggy back. We happened to have found Eggman's base on the way. So we happened to enter the Flying Fortress, but I got separated from Chris and Big so I'm on my own again" Steven says in his head, "Great! Then Sonic will arrive real soon" Amy says off screen. "Right. So where are you exactly, Amy?" Steven asked off screen. "In the prison room somewhere" Amy says off screen, "Alright, stay put and I'll be right there. Bare with me because this place is big and I hope I don't get spotted" Steven says in his head, "We'll be waiting, Steven. Be careful" Amy says off screen, "I will. Stay safe" Steven says before he looks around the halls. "Alright, Chris and Big will be fine as long as they stay hidden. I've gotta find Amy and bust her out of here" Steven says before he runs in a hallway.

Back with Big and Chris, they continued walking around the Egg Carrier. "Maybe the robots hid Froggy somewhere down here, Big" Chris says before Big takes sniff. "Hmm, smells like Froggy's around here somewhere" Big says.

Back with E-102 Gamma, it continued walking. What E-102 Gamma, Big and Chris didn't know was that they were almost close to each other in different paths. Chris then saw E-102 Gamma walk in appearance. "Whoa!" Chris says as he and Big backed up a bit. E-102 Gamma continued walking in the halls. Big and Chris then look at each other. "Huh?" Chris asked while shrugging. "Huh?" Big asked while shrugging. Big then noticed a door in a hallway. "I think we should see what's behind that door, Chris" Big says, "Okay, sure, Big" Chris says before he and Big ran towards the door.

Back with E-102 Gamma, it continued walking forward.

Lily was then seen flying and chirping in an orange background.

Back with E-102 Gamma, it stopped walking. E-102 Gamma then went up to a closed door. "Is this the one?" E-102 Gamma asked before it went forward to it.

In the room, the doors opened and E-102 Gamma looked close. There were power tools buzzing on E-101 Beta as E-101 Beta looked like it was being rebuilt. "BETA...!?" E-102 Gamma asked as it was about to make a step, but suddenly, it hits an arm piece with it's foot following metal clangs. E-102 Gamma looked down to see different parts on the floor as E-101 Beta continued getting rebuilt. "... This is the wrong room" E-102 Gamma says.

Lily was seen flying and chirping in the orange background again.

Back with E-102 Gamma, a microphone was heard from a speaker. "Gamma, have you got the bird yet? Hurry up and get it!" Dr. Eggman says from the speaker off screen. This caused E-102 Gamma to turn to the left before it was about to leave the room. "Oh" E-102 Gamma says as he looked back at E-101 Beta a bit. E-102 Gamma then leaves the room with the doors closing.

Back with Amy and Lily, a sound of a door opening and running footsteps were heard. This caused Amy to open her eyes before Lily looked nervous. Amy then pets Lily's head. "Now, now. Calm down, Lily" Amy says. The running footsteps got louder until Steven stopped in front of Amy's prison cell. "Amy!" Steven says before Amy gasped. "Steven, you made it!" Amy says and Lily chirps happily. "Sure did. I'm just glad I didn't get spotted on the way here is all" Steven says before Lily flew in front of Steven. Lily then chirped happily towards Steven. "So this is your new friend, Amy?" Steven asked, "That's right, Steven. Her name's Lily" Amy says, "Well it's nice to meet you Lily" Steven says before he pets Lily on the head a bit. This caused Lily to chirp happily again. "Okay, guys" Steven says before Lily flew back to Amy. "I'm gonna get you both out of here right now" Steven says. Then suddenly, another sound of a door was opening. Amy gasped before she, Lily and Steven turn to the side to see E-102 Gamma enter the room. "That's one of Eggman's robots I saw on the way over here" Steven says in his head E-102 Gamma then began walking forward. "Hold it!" Steven says as he got into his fighting stance while Amy held on to Lily close. E-102 Gamma continued walking close to Steven. "Don't you take one step closer to my friends! I'm warning you!" Steven says as E-102 Gamma got closer. Steven then positions his right fist before E-102 Gamma stopped walking. Steven hesitated a bit before E-102 Gamma faced Amy's cell. E-102 Gamma then aimed it's laser gun at Amy and Lily. Suddenly, Steven grabbed E-102 Gamma by the laser gun. "Don't even think about it. Put that armed arm down before it gets ugly" Steven says. E-102 Gamma then looked at Steven while Steven continued glaring at it. After a few seconds, E-102 Gamma aimed it's laser gun downwards. "That's what I thought" Steven says, "What do you want anyway?" Amy asked E-102 Gamma. "Hand me the little bird" E-102 Gamma says, "Nope!" Amy says before she brings Lily closer to her. "I won't let you take her" Amy says before she stands up. "You hear me?" Amy asked, "You must, the doctor commands it!" E-102 Gamma says, "Well, he can't have her!" Amy says while Lily looked nervous. "Quietly hand over the bird" E-102 Gamma says, "Sorry, pal, but you're not getting this bird that easily" Steven says, "Why not?" E-102 Gamma asked, "We don't need to tell you anything. You tell US why he wants it, now!" Amy says, "Does not compute" E-102 Gamma says, "Huh?" Steven asked, "You don't even know?" Amy asked before she, Lily and Steven look at each other. Steven, Amy and Lily then look back at E-102 Gamma. "I know you might hurt the three of us" Amy says, "If you don't know, then why are you doing what he tells you then?" Steven asked, "Classified. The doctor must have the bird now. Give me the bird" E-102 Gamma says, "Now, you listen to me... We're not afraid of you, and we're not afraid of HIM, either, you bully!" Amy says, "You both are not afraid?" E-102 Gamma asked, "No we aren't" Steven says, "No way, and even if I was I still wouldn't let him hurt an innocent bird" Amy says before she walks closer to the cell gates, Steven and E-102 Gamma. "Please, Mr. Robot... I know you have a job to do, but I'd be extremely grateful if you could let us get out of here. Please?" Amy asked before Steven looks at Amy in surprised. "Amy..." Steven says, "No!" E-102 Gamma says before he walks back a bit. "Not possible. Against regulations. Must obey doctor. Must obey doctor!" E-102 Gamma says, "But why? Just because he taught you to be mean, doesn't mean you have to be!" Amy says, "She's right" Steven says before Amy, Lily and E-102 Gamma look at him. "Listen, I know you're just trying to do your mission so your boss doesn't do anything to to, but sometimes you don't have to always follow orders from someone else. Especially if you don't know what you're getting yourself into. I know, I've been there before and I try to make it right for not just myself, but for everyone else too. So if you could just let us leave here without anyone else knowing, then I can guaranteed that you'll be okay" Steven says. Amy and Lily looked surprised a bit. "Insufficient data. You have feelings for something you know nothing about. Illogical!" E-102 Gamma says. Steven then sighs. "I shouldn't be surprised that you wouldn't really care. Your boss just likes to use his robots for slavery. I feel really sorry for you and the others" Steven says. Suddenly, Lily began flying out of Amy's hands. "Hey Lily! Come back here!" Amy says, "Huh?" Steven asked as he turns to Lily. "Lily, what are you doing?" Steven asked as Lily flew close to E-102 Gamma's face. E-102 Gamma looked at Lily closely while Lily continued to chirped. Suddenly, E-102 Gamma then held its head. "Overload... Overload..." E-102 Gamma says, "What's wrong?" Amy asked, "Are you okay there?" Steven asked in concern before E-102 Gamma lets go of his head and looks at Steven, Lily and Amy. E-102 Gamma then walks to the left and stops. "Go, escape!" E-102 Gamma says, "Hu-Huh?" Amy asked before E-102 Gamma pressed a big button in front of it. This caused the cell gate to lift up from Amy's cell. "Are you sure because you looked worried about something" Steven says as the cell gates were fully up. "Go now... Leave here" E-102 Gamma says before Amy began walking out of the cell. Amy then looks at E-102 Gamma. "Why are you letting us go?" Amy asked, "It's dangerous here. You must go" E-102 Gamma says before it looks at Lily. "Hurry, we'll be arriving at the Mystic Ruins base soon" E-102 Gamma says. Lily chirped again towards E-102 Gamma while E-102 Gamma looked at it closely. "Go now... Hurry" E-102 Gamma says while Lily continues chirping. Lily then flies towards Steven and Amy. "... Well... Alright then. If you insist. Just know that we're really grateful" Steven says, "You're really different from those other robots, are you? You must be really nice" Amy says before she brings her finger up and Lily lands on it. "I guess he saw how Lily felt and decided to let us go" Steven says before he and Amy look at Lily. "Most robots are mean, but he's got a soft spot inside his metal frame, does he, Lily...?" Amy asked, "It seems that way" Steven says, "Thank you, we'll never forget you. If you want, we can be friends the next time we meet. Right, Steven?" Amy asked off screen, "I guess Lucky could use a robotic friend to play with" Steven says and chuckles off screen. "By the way, what's your name anyway?" Steven asked, "...E-102. Codename: Gamma..." E-102 Gamma says, "Gamma, huh? Alright. I'll remember that" Steven says. E-102 Gamma moves a bit with Steven, Amy and Lily smiling. Steven, Amy and Lily then turn around. "Bye" Amy says, "You take care for now, Gamma. Good luck. Now let's go, Amy" Steven says before he, Amy and Lily leave the room. "Bye... Friends" E-102 Gamma says.

Back outside of the Egg Carrier, it was flying in the dark skies.

Above a canyon, the Egg Carrier continues flying as on the ground of the canyon. Knuckles was then seen looking at the Egg Carrier. "That was the Eggman Carrier, I've got to stop Eggman!" Knuckles says before a glimpse of the X-Cyclone was about to land. "Yo, Knuckles" Sonic says off screen. Knuckles looks to the right to see the X-Cyclone land as well as Sonic. "Going my way?" Sonic asked before he winks. Knuckles than smiles with grunts.

Back at the Egg Carrier, it continued flying through the dark clouds.

HOT SHELTER

Back with Steven, Amy and Lily, they were running in the halls of the Egg Carrier. "Steven, what's the plan?" Amy asked, "We've gotta find Chris, Big and Froggy before finding a way off of this thing. There's no telling what could happen around here so we've gotta stick together until we're off this bird!" Steven says, "But wouldn't it be easier if we stay hidden until Sonic arrives?" Amy asked, "As much as that sounds like a good idea, but the chances of that happening are slim. There's no telling when Sonic will arrive here. Especially after what happened back there" Steven says.

In Steven's memory, it showed the aftermath of what happened during the Egg Carrier chase with the X-Tornado.

Back to reality, Steven continues. "Right now our only chance to escape here is to find everyone and work together to get out of here" Steven says. "There he goes again. Always putting his friends first before himself. Just the Steven I know" Amy says in her head. "Okay, Steven. You can count on us. We're with you until the end" Amy says and Lily chirps. Steven then smiles. "That's what I like to hear!" Steven says. Suddenly, a wall exploded, causing Steven, Amy and Lily to stop running and shield themselves. "What now?" Steven asked before the smoke clears to reveal E-100 ZERO. This made Amy and Lily gasped. "That's the same robot that captured me and Lily!" Amy says, "Looks like it knows we escaped. And as much as I want to take it down right now, we don't have much time" Steven says before he holds on to Lily with his right hand. "We've gotta hurry! Come on!" Steven says before he grabbed Amy's hand with his left hand and they ran faster. Steven, Amy and Lily then ran with E-100 ZERO driving after them from behind.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman was laughing while sitting down. "Things are really hopping now that I found my little froggy!" Dr. Eggman says before beeps were heard. Bocoe then looked at the map before turning around. "Dr. Eggman! The X-Tornado!" Bocoe says, "What?" Dr. Eggman asked.

SKY CHASE

Back at the X-Tornado, Sonic and Knuckles were holding on from outside as the X-Tornado jet zooms towards the Egg Carrier with a sparkle.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman saw this. "Well, don't just sit there. Blow that tiresome Tornado to Timbuktu" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside of the Egg Carrier, it fired it's turrets and laser guns with zaps. The X-Tornado dodged the fire power while explosions were happening around it.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails grunted while holding on to the joystick and sweat drops.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado flies above the Egg Carrier.

On the Egg Carrier, the X-Tornado flew above it. More turrets fired at the X-Tornado upwards while the X-Tornado continued dodging the explosions.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails continued to grunt.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Knuckles grunted while closing his eyes and hanging on. Sonic also grunted while having his eyes closed and hanged on. The X-Tornado then flies away from the Egg Carrier.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman was gonna do something else. "All right, let's show our foxy friend some fireworks!" Dr. Eggman says, "Yes, doctor!" Decoe says off screen before he presses a button along with Bocoe. "Yes, doctor!" Bocoe says off screen.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails turns around. "Sonic, Knuckles, you okay?" Tails asked.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic was looking forward while holding on. "Yeah, just fine...!" Sonic says before he turns to the left. "Hey, Tails..." Sonic says.

Back at the Egg Carrier, something was about to happen. "...Check it out!" Sonic says off screen as two panels revealed a huge cannon with whirs. The X-Tornado then did a 180 degrees turn. The X-Tornado then faced the Egg Carrier.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails continued to sweat. "Okay!" Tails says.

A flashback shows the X-Tornado's left wing being completely beam zapped. Tails felt the hit before the X-Tornado began to descend down with a smoke trail.

Back to reality, Tails continued. "Go on and gimme your best shot. This time, I'm ready for you" Tails says.

Back at the Egg Carrier, the huge cannon whirs as it charged up a circular beam.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails was ready. "Time for a little transformation. Hang on real tight, you guys. This could get a little tricky" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic and Knuckles were standing up. "What?" Sonic asked before Knuckles looks at Sonic. "What did he say?" Knuckles asked, "X-Tornado, transform... Battle Suit Version!" Tails says off screen before a blue glow appears around the X-Tornado with hisses. Suddenly, a bright light surrounds the X-Tornado. The Egg Carrier fired its giant cannon with beam zaps. A blue glowing circle where the X-Tornado was suddenly disappeared, causing the zap to continue to fly straight.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman saw this. "What...!?" Dr. Eggman asked.

Back outside, a purple light swooshes further in the sky. Suddenly, the purple light disappeared and it revealed the X-Tornado, but this time it's back legs transformed into arms and fists. The X-Tornado transformed into Battle mode.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw this. "What's this? How are they. Transform the Egg Carrier!" Dr. Eggman says, "Yes, doctor!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. "I'll show those featherbrained fools not to mess with me by the power of this vessel!" Dr. Eggman says before he presses a button with beeps. "With just a push, get a load of this! Ha ha ha" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back outside the Egg Carrier, the Egg Carrier began to shake with whirs.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails looked surprised. "Whoa" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic screamed as he and Knuckles held on. "Uh! What's going on?" Knuckles asked.

Back with Steven, Amy and Lily, they felt the shake as they continued running in the halls. "What's going on now!?" Amy asked, "I don't know! We might be facing a turbulence!" Steven says. Lily the chirped, causing Steven and Amy to see a rail straight forward. "Whoa!" Steven says before he and Amy stop running. Amy gasped a bit before she, Steven and Lily look behind to see E-100 ZERO getting closer. "He's getting closer!" Amy says. Steven looks at the rail and back at E-100 ZERO a few times before looking at his feet. "... I hope my shoes can take the grind..." Steven says in his head. "Amy, hold Lily for a second" Steven says before he handed Lily to Amy. "What are you doing, Steven?" Amy asked before she shouts in surprised. Steven picked Amy and Lily up in bridal style before he jumped on the rail. Steven then began to slide downwards while E-100 ZERO stopped and watched Steven, Amy and Lily on the rails. Amy yelled and Lily chirped in fright while Steven was holding his balance on the rail. "Whoa! This is a bit too much for my feet to handle! But at the same time, this feels awesome!" Steven says in his head. Amy then looked at Steven while Steven looked determined. Steven, Amy and Lily eventually made it to the end before jumping off. Steven, Amy and Lily landed before running again.

Back outside of the Egg Carrier, the Egg Carrier transformed with whirs as it revealed giant missile turrets on each side underneath the new wings.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails saw this. "Ahhh, wow! It transformed. Did you guys see that?" Tails asked.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic and Knuckles also saw this. "Darn! This makes it harder for us to get on that thing!" Sonic says, "Ugh! Then we'll have to face it head on!" Knuckles says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails continued looking at the Egg Carrier. "I hate it when he does that..." Tails says.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman continues talking. "Ha ha ha ha ha! I bet you weren't expecting this! The only way you can get to me is through the Sky Deck, Sonic. I doubt if you can figure this one out! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic talks. "Oh I'll show HIM! Bring it on, Eggman! Let's go, Tails!" Sonic says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails continued looking at the Egg Carrier. "Alright! I just have to wait for exactly the right moment" Tails says.

Back outside, the Egg Carrier's turrets fired beam zaps and bullets. Suddenly, missiles whistled as they were flying everywhere from the Egg Carrier. "Well, here goes!" Tails says off screen before the X-Tornado dodges three incoming missiles. The missiles exploded in the end. The X-Tornado then activated a blade from it's back arm. As missiles whistle while flying pass the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado's right blade arm blocked one of the missiles, causing it to explode. The X-Tornado's right arm then released a yellow spear. As three missiles were flying, there were suddenly slashed in half before exploding. two more missiles flew, but they got sliced in an instant before exploding.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw this while Decoe and Bocoe looked nervous. "He's blowing our missiles to smithereens!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails grins. "Gotcha! How do you like me now, Eggman!? Come on, tough guy! Bring it on!" Tails says before Sonic goes up the capsule window and knocks with his eyes closed. Tails then looks at Sonic. "Cool it, Tails, let's not make things worse, okay?" Sonic asked before Tails puts his right hand in the back of his head while smiling sheepishly with his eyes closed. "Okay, sorry" Tails says.

Back outside, the X-Tornado continues flying towards the Egg Carrier. "They're coming in for a landing! Let's give them a warm welcome, shall we!?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen.

In another room of the Egg Carrier, explosions happened due to fireworks appearing. "Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!" two female voice said at the same time off screen before confetti pops. The voices came from two robotic cheerleaders. "Yea, yea, hep-hep, hooray" the two robotic cheerleaders said at the same time before it showed a robot that had multiple arms playing the drums and holding a yellow spear. There were also more robotic cheerleaders on what looked like w Welcome Set. "Yea, yea, hep-hep, hooray" all the cheerleaders said at the same time.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe looked embarrassed. "Who could ask for a WARMER welcome than that..." Decoe asked before Bocoe face palms. "...Eh, doctor?" Decoe asked before Dr. Eggman looks down at Decoe, making Decoe look back at Dr. Eggman. "You, fool! I was being sarcastic. Now switch it to battle Mode immediately!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back with Steven, Amy and Lily, they stopped in front of a closed door. "A dead end!" Amy says before a crash noise was heard. Steven, Amy and Lily look behind to see E-100 ZERO driving towards them from afar. "This bot just doesn't give up!" Steven says, "What do we do now!?" Amy asked and Lily chirped in fright. Steven then sets Amy and Lily down before going up to the closed door. Steven cracks his fingers and puts his hands on the door. Steven grunts while trying to pull the door open. E-100 ZERO was then almost close to them. "He's getting closer!" Amy says and Lily chirps in fright. Steven continued grunting and yelling while pulling. After a few seconds, Steven manages to get the door opened slowly. "Okay, you two! I got it open! Go! Hurry!" Steven says before Amy and Lily enter through the gap.

Once Amy and Lily went through the gap, they saw a big balloon in the middle of the room. Amy and Lily then look back at Steven. "Steven, let's go! We'll use this balloon to the highest level!" Amy says, "Don't worry about me, guys! Just go! I'll handle this dumpster truck myself!" Steven says before he releases his hands off the door. "Steven!" Amy says and Lily chirps.

Back with Steven, he turns around and faces E-100 ZERO. "Alright, pal. Now it's just you and me!" Steven says as he got into his fighting stance. Steven positioned his fist and was about to punch E-100 ZERO until the Orb appeared again. "The Orb!" Steven says before a bright light forms around the area.

Back with Amy and Lily, they were holding on to the giant balloon as it floated upwards. Amy and Lily saw the bright light that was shining from the other side of the closed door. "Steven!" Amy says and Lily chirps before the bright light fades away.

Back in the X-Tornado, Tails looked forward. "Hang on!" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, Tails continued off screen. "Almost there!" Tails says off screen before the X-Tornado's engine burst with super speed as it got close to the Egg Carrier.

EGG CARRIER

On the Egg Carrier, The X-Tornado was flying above the top ground. "Alright, we made it!" Tails says off screen. "Let's bring it in for a nice smooth landing, Tails!" Sonic says.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails freaked out. "Aa! Oh, no...!" Tails says.

Back outside of the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado was getting closer on the Egg Carrier. "What is it?" Sonic asked, "You'll have to settle for nice and bumpy. There's no landing gear in this mode!" Tails says off screen. Sonic and Knuckles then look at each other in shock. "WHAAAAT...?!" Sonic and Knuckles asked at the same time. The X-Tornado swooshes on the ground before it stops with an explosion happening in the process.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! After my encounters with Tikal a few more times, the pieces were eventually coming together as to how Tikal knew about Chaos, the Chaos', the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Meanwhile, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles landed on the Egg Carrier, but it was more like a crash landing than an average landing. Sonic and Tails were about to search for Amy while Knuckles was gonna look for the last pieces of the Master Emerald. Once Sonic and Tails found Amy and Lily, they were cornered by Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and surprisingly E-102 Gamma! Sonic and Gamma fought, but me and Amy stopped the fight before it could get serious. Tails and Amy eventually retreated while Sonic went after Eggman and I went to look for everybody else. Then suddenly, me and Knuckles were transported to the past again and this time everything was engulfed in flames! I got a glimpse of Tikal's condition and I wanted to help her for some reason, but I was also scared too for another reason. I managed to find Big and Chris and helped them save Froggy. We were all about to escape, but Chaos caught us off guard and was way stronger than before! I don't know how we're gonna do it, but we've gotta do everything we can to stop Chaos and get out of here before it's too late! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Battle on the Egg Carrier" ("Heads up, Tails!"). The fight is on!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
