But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

The Scream of Perfect Chaos and Wrathful Steven (Flood Fight)

In Mystic Ruins forest, it was foggy and Steven was seen running through the forest. "I knew it! Chaos took the Emeralds from Knuckles and caused Angel Island to fall somehow! Why else would I hear that roar and for the sky be so cloudy all of a sudden!? It's only a matter of time there won't be a calm before the storm actually arrives!" Steven says before he grew a shadow on his forehead. "Grr shoot! How could I have been so stupid to think everything was gonna be fine! Grr!" Steven says as his quills began to hover a bit. "I swear if I see that deity around here, I'm gonna... Huh? What the...?" Steven asked as he noticed something which caused his quills and forehead to go back to normal. From a distance from Steven, Dr. Eggman and Knuckles were seen on the ground. "Knuckles and Eggman!" Steven says before he runs up to Knuckles. Steven then bents down to Knuckles. "Knuckles, are you okay?" Steven asked before Knuckles groans a bit. "Steven... uhhh, sorry!" Knuckles says, "Knuckles, what happened!?" Steven asked, "Chaos attacked me and stole the Chaos Emeralds I had... Now it's out there searching for the last one..." Knuckles says, "What!? No way...!" Steven says before he looks at Dr. Eggman. "Eggman down too?" Steven asked, "Uh huh... Apparently he got attacked as well... And is barely breathing..." Knuckles says before Steven gasped. "Are you serious right now!?" Steven asked, "Uh huh..." Knuckles says before Steven goes up to Dr. Eggman. Steven checks Dr. Eggman's pulse on his neck. "You're right. He's barely hanging in there" Steven says, "Steven, listen... Chaos is more dangerous than ever... We have to act now..." Knuckles says before Steven drops to his knees and sighs. Steven for once after so long felt scared. "But what... What are we suppose to do...?" Steven asked, "...You've gotta find Sonic, Steven... We'll figure something out..." Knuckles says, "Are you sure?" Steven asked, "Don't worry... Everything's gonna be fine... We just need a plan is all..." Knuckles says before he leans against a tree. "But... Knuckles, Chaos is a God of... Of Destruction. Now that it's stronger just like you said, I don't think we have a lucky chance this time..." Steven says before he touches the dirt. "Steven... We don't know for sure unless we try... You're not alone in this... We'll figure it out together..." Knuckles says while Steven continued looking at the ground. "Steven... We don't have much time before Chaos manages to get hold... Of the Last Chaos Emerald... Then it would be the complete destruction of Earth..." Knuckles says, "I... I..." Steven says, "Listen, Steven, the fate of Earth rest... Entirely in your hands... I know you can do this... Do it for all of us... Go! Get going! Hurry!" Knuckles says. Steven hesitated a few seconds clenching his fists. "Fine Knuckles! I'll be back. Just hang in there for a little while longer!" Steven says before he leaves Knuckles and Dr. Eggman.

At Chris's Elementary School, the sky was clear and the sun was shining with birds chirping off screen.

In the School yard, a basketball was thrown towards the hoop. "Shoot!" Danny says off screen before the basketball went in the hoop. "No way!" Helen says off screen as it revealed she, Frances and Danny were playing basketball with Helen and Frances cheering, Danny dribbling the basketball and Mr. Stewart was sitting down and talking to his watch while looking at Danny, Frances and Helen from behind."All right, two points!" Danny says, "This is Chalkboard Charlie calling Homeroom. Christopher Thorndyke is still absent from school" Mr. Stewart says before he stands up and the basketball rolls to his foot."Get the ball, Francis!" Danny says off screen."Mr. Stewart..." Frances says before Mr. Stewart turns to Frances and waves. "...Can you throw me the ball, please!?" Frances asked while Mr. Stewart picks up the basketball and stands back up. Danny then gives a thumbs up. "Hey, Mr. Stewart, why don't you come and play!?" Danny asked, "Uh, me?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Yeah, it'll be fun!" Frances says before Mr. Stewart looks at the basketball. "All right" Mr. Stewart says before he runs and dribbles the basketball. Mr. Stewart then makes a jump. "Here goes!" Mr. Stewart says before throwing the basketball. The basketball then goes through the hoop. Helen laughs before Mr. Stewart picks the basketball up. "Nothing but net! That was an awesome shot, Mr. Stewart!" Danny says before Mr. Stewart scratches his head. "Well, I was an alternate on the practice squad back in collage" Mr. Stewart says before Helen giggles. Mr. Stewart then looked confused. "Did I say something funny, Helen?" Mr. Stewart asked, "I was just thinking that I'm happy we got you as our teacher" Helen says, "Really?" Mr. Stewart asked, "We weren't sure about you at first, but you're cool!" Danny says before he winks and gives a thumbs up. Mr. Stewart then rubs his neck in embarrassment. "Thanks, Danny" Mr. Stewart says.

Back in Mystic Ruins, Steven continued running while shaking a bit. "I can't stop shaking! I've been through worse, I can't be scared! Can I!?" Steven asked in his head before he noticed something. Steven saw Sonic and Tails looking at the the cloudy sky. "Oh perfect! Sonic, Tails!" Steven says before he runs faster.

With Sonic and Tails, they turned around before looking at Steven running to them. "Sonic, look. It's Steven" Tails says, "Steven, what's up?" Sonic asked before Steven stopped in front of them while panting. "Sonic... Tails... I need you guys to come with me... Hurry..." Steven says, "What's going on, Steven?" Tails asked, "Well... First of all... Angel Island fell in the ocean again. And... And... Eggman and Knuckles were ambushed in an attacked..." Steven says before Sonic and Tails gasped. "What!?" Sonic and Tails asked at the same time. "Who blew Angel Island this time!?" Sonic asked,"What do you mean Knuckles and Eggman were attacked!?" Tails asked, "I'll explain when we get there... Come on! we gotta go!" Steven says before he runs ahead. Tails then turns to Sonic. "I don't like the sound of this" Tails says, "Me neither. Let's see what's really going on" Sonic says before he and Tails run in Steven's direction.

In Mystic Ruins, Tails' Workshop was seen. "I thought Tails, Steven and Sonic would be here in the workshop. Wonder where they are" Chris says off screen.

In Tails' Workshop, Chris was looking at Tails' tool box on the left. "Maybe they took the X-Tornado out and I guess I just missed them" Chris says before pictures of the X-Tornado being drawn on paper were shown. "I can't wait to show them what I've got! They're going to be really proud of me when he sees that I found a Chaos Emerald!" Chris says.

Back at Mystic Ruins forest, Sonic, Steven and Tails were running through the forest. Knuckles was then seen standing up and looking at Dr. Eggman, getting Sonic, Steven and Tails' attention as they stopped. "There's Knuckles!" Tails says before Knuckles turns his head a bit. Sonic then noticed Dr. Eggman on the ground in front of Knuckles. "And Eggman" Sonic says before Knuckles turns his head back to Dr. Eggman. "Hmm" Knuckles says before Sonic, Steven and Tails go up to them. "Knuckles, how are you feeling?" Steven asked, "A little better now" Knuckles says, "What happened here, Knuckles?" Sonic asked, "Well I was walking around and I found Eggman already like this, but I can't remember too much of what happened after I got attacked" Knuckles says before Steven checks Dr. Eggman's pulse. "He's still breathing..." Steven says before he sighs. Tails goes up to Dr. Eggman's boot and brings a stick to it. Tails then pokes Dr. Eggman's boot 4 times before Dr. Eggman sits up a bit. This caused Tails to jump and freak out while sweat dropping. "Whoa! He's alive!" Tails says before Dr. Eggman fully sits up. "Of course I am!" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic moves his face forward a bit. "What happened?" Sonic asked, "Chaos... is still alive" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic gasped a bit. "Still alive?" Sonic asked, "That's right! Chaos was the one that attacked Eggman and Knuckles" Steven says, "Chaos also stole the Chaos Emeralds I was holding!" Knuckles says, "What?!" Sonic asked, "All of this is happening because it's turned against me!" Dr. Eggman says, "How come?" Sonic asked, "Because it wants to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds all for itself" Dr. Eggman says before Steven covers his face and sighs in stress. Steven removes his hands and looks at Dr. Eggman. "Eggman, you have an IQ number that's beyond a normal number! You should have known with that big brain of yours that Chaos would eventually rebel against you! Now because of you, your plan for world domination is in the hands of a God of Destruction! The last person you ever want to mess with is now gonna conquer us all!" Steven says before Dr. Eggman puts his hands out. "Now hold on just a minute, Hedgehog! I had everything planed out perfectly! It's not my fault that deity had personal issues!" Dr. Eggman says before Knuckles brings his fist close to his face. "You better shut up and get those Chaos Emeralds back to us or else!" Knuckles says before Sonic tried to hold Knuckles back. "Take it easy, Knuckles!" Sonic says, "How dare you threaten me!? I'd love to teach you a lesson, but unfortunately, I have to fly like a ghost! That deity is not gonna get away with it this time!" Dr. Eggman says before he was suddenly brought up to the air. "He's getting away just like a ghost!" Tails says as he, Sonic and Knuckles look up. "Hey Eggman! Wait up!" Knuckles says, "Stop! Where are you going!?" Steven asked, "Okay, start reeling him up" Decoe says off screen, "The winch is jammed" Bocoe says off screen as it revealed Dr. Eggman had a metal strap around him. "We can pull him up ourselves" Decoe says before it revealed there was a hook around the metal strap. "No way. All that weight will burn out of our motors" Bocoe says off screen as it revealed Dr. Eggman was being carried by an hot air balloon with his face on it. "Don't just leave me hanging here like a salami!" Dr. Eggman says.

On the hot air balloon, Decoe and Bocoe were looking downwards. "Try not to get agitated. The cable could break" Decoe says, "Just enjoy the ride" Bocoe says, "There's no time to lose! My plans for world domination depend on Chaos! We have to get to point X right away!" Dr. Eggman says, "Roger!" Decoe says off screen as the hot air balloon began to fly higher with Dr. Eggman screaming while shaking.

Back in Mystic Ruins forest, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles looked at each other while Steven was still looking up. "Sonic, Tails... Chaos is a fearsome beast! We have to find Chaos fast and stop it! The second it gets the hold of that last Chaos Emerald, it'll be too powerful to defeat and we'll be done for...!" Knuckles says, "You're right. We have to act now!" Sonic says before he turns to Tails. "Tails!?" Sonic asked, "Right!" Tails says before Sonic looks at Steven. "Steven!?" Sonic asked but Steven was still looking up. "Hey, Steven!" Sonic says before Steven jumped a bit. "Huh? What?" Steven asked before looking at Sonic. "We gotta get a move! Are you coming or what?" Sonic asked. Steven then looked at everyone before stuttering. "Uh... Uh..." Steven says, "Steven, come on! We don't have much time!" Knuckles says, "... Actually guys... I... I'm sorry, but I.. I'm afraid I can't help this time..." Steven says before Sonic, Tails and Knuckles looked at him in confusion, surprise and shocked. "Steven... You're giving up already...?" Tails asked, "Why...?" Knuckles asked, "Guys, Chaos has 6 of the 7 Emeralds in it's possession and it might have already found the Last one by now... And I... Well... I... I don't think we have a chance of winning this time" Steven says while Sonic, Tails and Knuckles continued looking shock. "I was afraid something like this would happen the moment I saw it in my dream... Now my dream is becoming a reality nightmare... I'm sorry I didn't tell you all sooner... And sorry I let my guard down easily..." Steven says before he began walking away. "Steven, wait!" Sonic says before a bright light appears. "Ha!" Sonic says as he looks up. "Ha!" Knuckles says as he looks up as well. "Huh?" Steven asked before he turns around. "Ugh!" Steven says as he shields himself a bit. Sonic, Steven and Knuckles were then seen being caught in a bright light with Tails watching. "Huh?" Tails asked before the bright light was beginning to surround Sonic, Steven and Knuckles. "Aw, Gee...! What's going on here?" Sonic asked, "We're going back to the past again!" Steven says in his head before he, Sonic and Knuckles were engulfed by the light.

At the Master Emerald Alter over 3000 years ago at night, the members of the Knuckles Tribe were seen in front of the Master Emerald Shrine while the area was engulfed in flames and the Master Emerald was shining. From behind the Master Emerald Alter, a bright circle was seen around the grass and bushes. Suddenly, it began to die out as Sonic, Steven and Knuckles were then seen. Sonic, Steven and Knuckles then look forward a bit while Steven gasped. "This place... It looks familiar!" Sonic says, "Quiet..." Knuckles says.

In front of the Master Emerald Alter, Tikal and five wild Chaos' were seen blocking the path to the staircase of the Master Emerald alter from Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members. "We've been here before. We're back in the past" Knuckles says off screen, "So it's not a dream, after all" Sonic says off screen, "What's going on now?" Steven asked off screen, "Get out of my way!" Pachacamac says, "No way!" Tikal says, "Did you hear what I said? Pachacamac asked, "I won't obey!" Tikal says, "Tikal, we need those 7 Emeralds to give us total power! It is the only way to protect our people from our enemies. And they are your people and enemies too, you know! We must get that Emerald and the 7 Emeralds!" Pachacamac says, "But taking the Emeralds isn't the way! Don't you see!? Greed is our enemy! Please don't do this! Once it starts, you'll always want more and will regret it forever! I beg you! Please!" Tikal says as she clasped her hands.

Back in the bushes, Sonic, Steven and Knuckles continue to listen. "Wait... Are we at the time where... The Disaster... Began...?" Steven asked in his head.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Pachacamac shakes his head. "Bah! I will not listen to the words of a child" Pachacamac says.

Back in the bushes, Sonic, Steven and Knuckles continued to listen. "Even if you are my daughter" Pachacamac says off screen and this made Steven gasped.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Pachacamac continues looking at Tikal. "Now you listen here, young lady, the clan has already made its choice and will seize the Emeralds now!" Pachacamac says.

Back in the bushes Steven continues to listen. "Tikal's father and his men are about to raid the Alter..." Steven says in his head as his hands began to shake. "That... That could be why Chaos is evil and explain what happened afterwards! The Chao died... Chaos evil... Tikal being helpless and... And... And...!" Steven says in his head before he gasped and clenched his fists. Then suddenly, Steven ran away from Sonic and Knuckles and this caused Sonic and Knuckles to gasped. "Huh?" Sonic asked, "Steven, don't!" Sonic and Knuckles said at the same time while reaching their hands out.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Pachacamac points his spear forward. "Men, forget about her and charge!" Pachacamac says as he pointed forward. "Stop!" Steven says off screen, causing Tikal, the Chao, Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members to gasped. Steven then got in front of Tikal and the Chao. "Everyone, stop! You all don't know what you're doing!" Steven says while Tikal looked surprised. "Steven!?" Tikal asked, "Who are you!? How did you get here!?" Pachacamac asked, "Doesn't matter who I am! You can't take the Emeralds!" Steven says, "Hold on! I remember you! Chief, that's the outsider that's been seeing your daughter!" one of the Knuckles Tribe members says, "What!? You're the one my daughter's been seeing!? No wonder my daughter has been disappearing from Mystic Ruins lately! You're trying to take her away from her own people!" Pachacamac says, "It's nothing like that, sir! Tikal's just my friend!" Steven says, "Steven, what are you doing?" Tikal asked from behind before Steven looks at her. "I'm trying to stop them from taking the Emeralds, Tikal" Steven says, "But, Steven, you have to be careful when you talk to my father. He could end up doing something you'll regret" Tikal says off screen as Pachacamac looked suspicious. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I just need to reason with him is all" Steven says before he faces back to Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members. "Listen, what you're about to do is gonna make you regret ever doing it. It will not only take effect right now, but it could lead to a devastating disaster for the future! So hear me when I say this, don't do this!" Steven says, "What makes you think that I will believe all the words you say? How do I know you won't take the Emeralds for yourself!?" Pachacamac asked, "Believe me! I would never do that! I'm not like any of you that's only greed for power! I earn it on my own! Don't you see!? You're on the edge of making a big mistake for your tribe all because you think about yourself only! And if your mother was still alive, she would be disappointed for the way you're acting right now!" Steven says off screen before Tikal and the Chao looked surprised. Pachacamac then lets out a shout. "Enough! I've had enough of these delays! I will take what's mine and punish anyone that gets in my way! Men, get this outcast out of my sight!" Pachacamac says before pointing at Steven. This caused the Knuckles Tribe members to run towards Steven. "Now! Get him! Get him!" Pachacamac says before some of the Knuckles Tribe members grabbed Steven and Steven tried to fight them off while grunting. "No! No! Father, please!" Tikal says as she tried running to Steven, but some Knuckles Tribe members grabbed her too while the wild Chaos fly away from them. "Steven!" Tikal says as she reached her hand out to Steven. Steven reached his hand out to Tikal, but they were pulled back. "I've suffered for too long to be stopped, but with the Emeralds in my possession, I will be even powerful!" Pachacamac says, "No! Let go of me! Steven!" Tikal says as the Knuckles Tribe members continue to hold her back. "No!" Steven says before he turns his head to a Knuckles Tribe member. "Don't just stand there! Get rid of him!" Pachacamac says off screen, "Get out...!" Steven says before he smacked one of the Knuckles Tribe members off his grip. "...Of my way! Tikal!" Steven says before he smacked a couple of more Knuckles Tribe members. Steven then tried fighting off the Knuckles Tribe members while grunting and growling, but there were too many and Steven was being pulled away. "Tie him up, then hang him by the neck so that he'll see what I'll become with the Emeralds before his last breath runs out" Pachacamac says, "No!" Tikal says as she tried to fight off the Knuckles Tribe members, but couldn't. "Steven!" Tikal says.

Back in the bushes, Sonic and Knuckles continued to watch. "That fool! What was he even thinking to do something like that!?" Knuckles asked, "I don't know, but we've gotta help him!" Sonic says as he was about to step out, but Knuckles grabbed him. "Wait! Stop!" Knuckles says, "Knuckles" Sonic says.

Back with Steven, he continued fighting off two Knuckles Tribe members, but couldn't break free as the two Knuckles Tribe members began to tie him up. "Stop! You all gotta listen to me!" Steven says before he was punched in the stomach, causing him to cough. "Shut up! You should have never stepped foot in Mystic Ruins to begin with! Hang him! Quickly!" the Knuckles Tribe members says before the second Knuckles Tribe members began to pull the rope that was around Steven's neck. Steven began gagging as he was being pulled up while trying to break free.

Back in the bushes, Sonic and Knuckles watched before Sonic grunts "We've gotta save him now!" Sonic says as he was about to run forward. but was stopped by Knuckles. "Stop! They'll do the same to us if we pop out!" Knuckles says, "Well we've gotta do something!" Sonic says, "I know, but let's just wait until they leave" Knuckles says while Sonic grunted.

Back with Steven, the second Knuckles Tribe member tied a knot on the tree and Steven was now hanging by the neck. Steven continued coughing and gaging while the Knuckles Tribe members looked at him. "That should do it! Now let's hurry back to the Chief!" another Knuckles Tribe member says before they both run back towards the Master Emerald Alter. Sonic and Knuckles then popped out of the bushes and went up to where Steven is. Sonic and Knuckles look up to see Steven chocking and shaking. "Han on, Steven! We're right here!" Sonic says before he forms a spin. Sonic cuts through the rope and this caused the rope to rip and for Steven to fall. Knuckles then jumps before catching Steven. "Gotcha!" Knuckles says before he lands and he, Steven and Sonic run back into the bushes.

Back in the bushes, Knuckles sets Steven on the ground while Sonic tried untiring the ropes. "Steven, are you okay?" Sonic asked while Steven coughed. After a few seconds, Steven stops coughing and pants while looking at Sonic and Knuckles. "Sonic...? Knuckles...?" Steven asked before Sonic sighs. "That was close" Sonic says, "Steven, what were you thinking to make a scene like that!? You could've gotten yourself killed!" Knuckles says, "I... I don't care, Knuckles...!" Steven says, "Steven, why did you do that?" Sonic asked, "... Be... Because I... Wait...! Where is...?" Steven asked before he turns to the right.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, the Knuckles Tribe members went back to Pachacamac while Pachacamac looked at Tikal and the wild Chao. "Now that the rat's out of my way, it's time for me to take those Emeralds!" Pachacamac says, "Father, please! I beg you!" Tikal says, "Silence! We've come this far and we'll take them by force now! Men, attack!" Pachacamac says as he pointed forward before the members of the Knuckles Tribe charged forward while shouting. "Stop it, father!" Tikal says off screen before she and the wild Chaos' were pushed by the Knuckles Tribe members while screaming and chirping.

Back in the bushes, Sonic, Knuckles and Steven watched while Steven looked shocked. "No... The Master Emerald... The Chaos Emeralds... The Chao... Tikal..." Steven says before he began crawling. Sonic and Knuckles noticed this before grabbing Steven. "Steven, no!" Sonic says, "There's nothing you can do now!" Knuckles says, "But-" Steven says, "Face it, Steven. We can't help them anymore" Knuckles says before Steven grunts and looks towards the Master Emerald Alter. Steven saw the Chao and Tikal getting run over. "No... Tikal...!" Steven says before he closes his eyes.

Flashbacks play of Steven's encounters with Tikal, the Chao, Chaos, the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald, the Master Emerald Alter and Mystic Ruins

Back in Mystic Ruins 3000 years ago, Steven was shaking while Tikal and the Chao continue screaming off screen. "No... Stop it... Please stop it..." Steven says before he began whimpering with tears falling down from his eyes and onto the ground. Sonic and Knuckles then looked at Steven. "Steven?" Sonic asked before Steven grunted a bit while beginning to shake. "Steven..." Knuckles says before Steven puts a hand on his head. Knuckles then gasped before removing his hand as he noticed something. Steven's quills were beginning to rise up and veins were slowly appearing from his face and whole body. Sonic then looked concerned. "Huh? Steven, what's wrong...?" Sonic asked before Steven began growling, causing Sonic and Knuckles to gasped a bit. As Steven growled and shakes, he began to sit up slowly. Suddenly, Steven lifted his head up a bit and opened his eyes. Steven's eyes were now fully yellow. "...Oh no..." Knuckles says. Suddenly, as Steven continued shaking and growling, his whole body began to increase in size, muscles and began to form sharpness. This caused Steven's clothes to rip from his whole body. Sonic and Knuckles backed up and watched in shock as they saw Steven's change. Steven growled one last time before standing up while shouting. Steven was now seen back into his Ikari state: Wrathful Steven. Wrathful Steven looked down at himself and saw there was still rope tied around him. Wrathful Steven began to rip the rope off him while growling.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members turned around as they heard Wrathful Steven's growl while Tikal and the Chao were seen on the ground unconscious.

Back in the bushes, Wrathful Steven began stomping towards Sonic and Knuckles. "Watch out!" Knuckles says before he and Sonic jump out the way while Wrathful Steven continued stomping forward.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Wrathful Steven fully breaks free from the rope before letting out a roar. Wrathful Steven picks up a nearby rock and throws it towards Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members. "Look out!" a Knuckles Tribe members says before jumping out the way, but the rock hits one of them. This caused the Knuckles Tribe member that was hit to crash on the ground. "Stop that beast!" Pachacamac says as he pointed forward and the Knuckles Tribe members run forward while shouting. Wrathful Steven makes his way close to the Knuckles Tribe members before slamming some of them to the ground. The Knuckles Tribe members tried to take Wrathful Steven down, but Wrathful Steven stomped, smashed, smacked, punch, kick and throws them all over the place. Wrathful Steven then jumped up and flew in the air. Wrathful Steven then formed green energy balls from his hands before making his back to the ground. Wrathful Steven then slams his hands that were holding the green energy balls to two Knuckles Tribe members. This caused two small explosions to happen. Wrathful Steven eventually smacked Pachacamac to the ground, causing Pachacamac to grunt. Wrathful Steven picked up one of the Knuckles Tribe members and threw him forward.

Back in the bushes, the Knuckles Tribe member crashes in front of Sonic and Knuckles before getting knocked out. "What happened to Steven!?" Sonic asked while he and Knuckles moved away from the bushes. "He's changed! Remember what happened 6 months ago, Sonic!?" Knuckles asked before Sonic gasped a bit.

Another flashback shows Wrathful Steven rampaging 6 months ago.

Back in the bushes 3000 years ago, Sonic looked towards Wrathful Steven. "That's what he looked like back then!?" Sonic asked.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Steven continued attacking the Knuckles Tribe members. "Yeah! I couldn't believe either! That day, Steven felt devastated the moment he realized how helpless he was and just lost it! I originally thought he was in physical pain, but it was more than that! I got scared when he began showing signs of his true power. I would have never imagine Steven having a hidden power in him, but it could explain how quickly he adapts in everyday life. He's gifted with the potential of someone even stronger than his own self, but if he doesn't snap out of it, it'll eventually make him an unstoppable monster!" Knuckles says off screen before Wrathful Steven throws a giant boulder.

Back with Sonic and Knuckles, they saw the giant boulder heading in their direction before jumping out the way. Sonic and Knuckles then land back on the ground. "Well from what I can see, he can only go into this state if he gets really mad. The first time I can understand, but right now it's a bit confusing. I think it may have something to do with that Echidna Tikal Steven knows. Knuckles, how much does Steven know about her?" Sonic asked, "Well from what I can gather, me and Steven have been brought to the past a few many times to witness the events that almost have to do with what we're dealing with today. I think Steven may have seen more events and got to know Tikal a lot more than the rest of us. Now with what's happening right now, Steven can see how she and the Chao felt and got angry" Knuckles says, "Then Steven must care for her somehow. It has to be! I... I can't believe I didn't seen this coming from the beginning. If I did, Steven wouldn't be going through this right now" Sonic says, "Well it's never too late. Come on! We gotta stop this before it gets out of hand!" Knuckles says, "Okay!" Sonic says before he and Knuckles run forward.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Wrathful Steven continued attacking anyone in his sights. "Hey! Steven!" Knuckles says off screen before Wrathful Steven turns his head with a growl. Wrathful Steven saw Knuckles go in front of him. "Steven, knock it off! This has gone too far!" Knuckles says. Wrathful Steven roars before rushing towards Knuckles. Knuckles then jumps away from Wrathful Steven. "I have to try to knock him out somehow!" Knuckles says before he lands. With Sonic, he managed to slip past Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members before going up to Tikal. Sonic picks up Tikal before taking her towards the bushes. Wrathful Steven continued running towards Knuckles before Knuckles jumps up and goes behind Wrathful Steven. Once Knuckles was behind Wrathful Steven, he positioned his fist before charging his punch towards Wrathful Steven's head. "That's enough!" Knuckles says as his fist was about to make contact. But when Knuckles' fist was about to make contact with Wrathful Steven's head, his fist ended up punching Wrathful Steven's risen sharp spiked quills. This caused Knuckles to look shock before shouting in pain as his fist was showing red marks on his knuckles. Wrathful Steven turns around before kicking Knuckles away. Knuckles than skids on the ground while grunting. Knuckles opens his eyes to see Wrathful Steven running towards him. "Grr... I didn't think his quills would act as a sharp defense! Grr..." Knuckles says while looking at his red marked hand. Wrathful Steven suddenly kicks Knuckles again with Knuckles grunting again. Wrathful Steven then fires a green energy ball from his hand and aims it at Knuckles. As Knuckles was about to get hit, Sonic's blur catches Knuckles while the green energy ball goes up in the sky. The green energy blast then exploded in the sky.

Back in the bushes, Sonic sets Knuckles down. "What happened?" Sonic asked and Knuckles grunted before showing his red marked fist. This caused Sonic to gasped. "His guard is really strong and knows when to attack. He may be out of control, but he isn't stupid" Knuckles says before he noticed Tikal next to him and Sonic. "You brought her here?" Knuckles asked, "Yeah. I saved her before she could get caught in the mix. Maybe she can help Steven snap out of it" Sonic says.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Pachacamac grunted as he got up. Suddenly, a shadow casts over him and he looks up. Pachacamac gasped as he saw Wrathful Steven glaring and growling at him.

Back in the bushes, Sonic and Knuckles were trying to wake Tikal up. "Hey, Tikal" Knuckles says off screen, "Can you hear us?" Sonic asked off screen and Tikal moans a bit. Tikal opens her eyes to see Sonic and Knuckles looking at her. "...Idris? What... What happened...?" Tikal asked as she sits up a bit. "We saved you from the madness that's going on" Knuckles says before Tikal gasped. "No! I have to stop..." Tikal says as she sits up a bit. "...My father and his men before-" Tikal says before she noticed something with gasped. Tikal saw that Wrathful Steven was looking at Pachacamac. "Wha- What is that monster and why is it about to attack my father!?" Tikal asked, "Tikal, you might not believe this, but that monster is actually Steven" Sonic says before Tikal gasped again. "Steven!? but how!? It doesn't make sense!" Tikal says, "I know, but we have to change him back quickly! We were wondering if you could try and help Steven come to his senses. Can you do that, Tikal? You're the only one Steven will possibly listen to right now" Sonic says, "... I... I..." Tikal says, "Please, Tikal. Steven needs your help" Knuckles says, "...Alright..." Tikal says, "We'll stick with you if he tries anything" Knuckles says, "Okay Let's go" Tikal says before she, Sonic and Knuckles walk out of the bushes.

Back at the Master Emerald Alter, Wrathful Steven lifted Pachacamac by the neck and this caused Pachacamac to choke. Steven positioned his fist and was about to punch Pachacamac's head. "Steven, stop!" Tikal says off screen. This caused Wrathful Steven to turn around with a snarl before looking at Tikal, Sonic and Knuckles. Wrathful Steven growled before throwing Pachacamac to the left. Wrathful Steven then takes a few steps forward to Sonic, Knuckles and Tikal. Sonic and Knuckles got into position before Wrathful Steven stops in front of them. Tikal looked nervous as Wrathful Steven began to sniff her. After a few seconds, Wrathful Steven looked at Sonic and Knuckles before roaring. "Steven!" Tikal says before Wrathful Steven looks at her again. "You have to calm down! Look at all the damage you're causing! You're making things worse for not just everything around you, but for yourself! This isn't you, Steven!" Tikal says before Wrathful Steven growled. "Um... Steven, you have to understand what you're doing is wrong. I know you're really upset with what my father is doing, but with the way you're acting, your gonna not only make things worse for yourself, but for everyone you care about" Tikal says. This caused Wrathful Steven to look a bit confused. "I understand why you're like this. You're trying to help me and I really appreciate it, but you have to calm down. Please, Steven. Let your friends help you. Let me help you. Let us all help you" Tikal says before Wrathful Steven looked a bit surprised. Tikal then smiles a bit. "Yes, Steven. It's me, Tikal. You're the first friend I mad that taught and helped me so much that I want to do everything to help you too if you could just calm down. Please, Steven. Come to your senses! I beg you!" Tikal says as she clasped her hands. Sonic and Knuckles look at each other before looking forward. Wrathful Steven then began to look a bit calm. Tikal then fully smiles. "Yes, Steven! Come back to us!" Tikal says before Sonic and Knuckles smile a bit. From the left of Wrathful Steven, Pachacamac picked up his spear before getting up slowly. Pachacamac then ran and pointed his spear forward with a yell. Wrathful Steven turns to the left before everything happened too fast for everyone to react. At a pause, Pachacamac was seen cutting Wrathful Steven with his spear. Wrathful Steven was seen being cut on the left cheek, left bicep, and an "X"-shaped cut on his left chest reaching over his left shoulder and two smaller ones on the upper-left of his abdomen. Sonic, Knuckles and Tikal watched in shock before the scene resumes normally. Pachacamac lands and Wrathful Steven roars in pain while trying to cover his cut marks. This caused blood to form on Steven's cutter areas. "Steven!" Sonic, Knuckles and Tikal said at the same time. "Now!" Pachacamac says before members of the Knuckles Tribe members jumped on top of Wrathful Steven while yelling. Wrathful Steven continued roaring in pain before crashing on the ground. The members of the Knuckles Tribe began to tie Wrathful Steven with ropes while holding him in place as Wrathful Steven tried to fight them off, but was in too much pain to. "Leave him alone!" Tikal says as she was about to run to them, but she was grabbed by the arm by Pachacamac. "You're not going anywhere, young lady!" Pachacamac says. Tikal then looks at Pachacamac. "Father, how could you!?" Tikal asked, "How could I!? How could you befriend a monster!? Are you trying to put or Clan in more danger!?" Pachacamac asked, "Father, stop! You're hurting me!" Tikal says as she tried to get loose. "I've had enough with you, Tikal! For all your actions you've done with this monster, you will be punished!" Pachacamac says as Sonic and Knuckles were backing away from the scene a bit. "Tikal, I'll have you locked up in the temple of Mystic Ruins and you will stay there for the rest of your days of eternity!" Pachacamac says off screen. Wrathful Steven was then seen fully tied against the ground while still roaring in pain. "Hurry, men! I must get my hands on the Emeralds! And when I do, I'll make sure this monster never sees the light of day again!" Pachacamac says before Tikal gasped. "No, stop!" Tikal says before she was pushed to the ground with a grunt. "I've had enough of this! Men, charge NOW!" Pachacamac says before the Knuckles Tribe members began running to the Master Emerald Alter while shouting. Wrathful Steven and the Chao were then roaring and chirping in pain while Sonic and Knuckles continue to watch in shock.

Suddenly at the top of the Master Emerald Alter, the pool of water around the Master Emerald shrine began to make movement and water drops. Also suddenly, the Chaos Emeralds began to appear around the Master Emerald while glowing and circling. Pachacamac and the members of the Knuckles Tribe reached the top of the Master Emerald shrine and went around the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds. Suddenly, Chaos' liquid appeared in front of the Master Emerald before it began to take the shape as Chaos 0. Pachacamac stepped back a bit as he and the Knuckles Tribe members looked a bit nervous. "Aaaaagh! What is that thing? Another monster!?" Pachacamac asked while the Knuckles Tribe members mutter.

At the bottom of the steps of the Master Emerald Alter, Wrathful Steven opened his eyes before looking at himself. Wrathful Steven then looks up to see the Master Emerald, the Chaos Emeralds, Chaos 0, Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members. This caused Wrathful Steven to growl before breaking free from the ropes. Wrathful Steven then ignores the pain and makes his way to the steps with Sonic and Knuckles gasping. "Steven!" Sonic and Knuckles said at the same time.

Back on top of the Master Emerald Alter, the Master Emerald, the Chaos Emeralds and Chaos 0 began to glow with Chaos 0 spreading its arms out. This caused Pachacamac and the Knuckles Tribe members to shield themselves while screaming. "Noooooooo!" Pachacamac says. Suddenly, Wrathful Steven was seen charging towards Chaos 0. Wrathful Steven was about to attack Chaos 0 until the light got brighter and surrounds the whole area.

Back at the bottom of the steps of the Master Emerald Alter, the light slowly dies out and everyone at the Master Emerald shrine vanished with the Master Emerald still glowing. Sonic and Knuckles looked at the Master Emerald. "They're gone. All of them!" Knuckles says, "Not all" Sonic says before he runs forward. Tikal was then seen unconscious before Sonic bents down to her. "Hey, are you okay!?" Sonic asked before Tikal opens her eyes a bit. "Uh... I think so" Tikal says as she slowly sits up while whimpering. Tikal opens her eyes widely as she looked at the top of the Master Emerald shrine. "Oh my gosh! No!... No!... No!... I knew this would end in disaster. Why... Father...? Why didn't you listen to me!?" Tikal asked before she spotted something with a gasped. From the left, Steven was seen back to normal and was unconscious. Steven still had the blooded cut marks on himself. "Steven!" Tikal says before she runs away from Sonic and Knuckles. Tikal, Sonic and Knuckles go up to Steven with Tikal bending down to Steven. "Come on, Steven" Knuckles says, "Steven, wake up" Sonic says, "Steven, are you okay? Open your eyes for me" Tikal says as she shook Steven a bit, but Steven didn't move. Tikal then shakes Steven. "Please..." Tikal says as her eyes shined a bit. Suddenly, Steven groans while lifting his head a bit. Sonic, Knuckles and Tikal then sigh in relief. Steven then opens his eyes. "Tikal...? Sonic...? Knuckles...? What happened...?" Steven asked, "You changed again..." Knuckles says before Steven gasped a bit. "I... I changed?" Steven asked, "Uh huh. You went on a little rampage" Sonic says, "What?" Steven asked before he begins to sit up. But as Steven sat up. he felt the cuts and grunts in pain. "Don't move. Your hurt" Tikal says before Steven looks at his cuts. "What happened to me...?" Steven asked, "My father... He did this... He's the cause of all of this. Because of him, the world is now in grave danger" Tikal says, "It... It all makes sense. Tikal's father and the Knuckles Tribe are responsible for the disaster of the Alter! That's why Chaos is evil-No! Mad in current time! But what's gonna happen now...?" Steven asked in her head. "I have to stop this before it's too late!" Tikal says before she stands up and walks forward with Sonic, Steven and Knuckles watching. "Hey, hold on!" Sonic says, "What are you doing...?" Steven asked before he stands up, but shouts in pain. Sonic and Knuckles put Steven's arms over their shoulders and they all walk up the steps. "Where is everyone...?" Steven asked in his head.

Back on top of the Master Emerald Alter, Tikal walks up the steps with Sonic, Steven and Knuckles behind her. Tikal then stops in front of the Master Emerald. "You all must understand... The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power, power enriched by the heart. The controller serves to unify the Chaos" Tikal says, "What is she doing?" Steven asked in his head. "Uhh... The seven Chaos Emeralds take what is in our thoughts and turn it into the power" Tikal says before she gasped a bit. Steven gasped as well. "Wait! Don't tell me she's gonna...!" Steven says in his head again. "But if the heart of this Emerald that wields the Emeralds power is full of nothing but anger and fear..." Tikal says before she brings her hands together a bit. "Then that power will bring pain and destruction to the world" Tikal says before she clasped her hands together. Steven gasped again. "No, don't do it!" Steven says as he shakes on Sonic and Knuckles' shoulders while ignoring the pain. Sonic and Knuckles then try to hold Steven back. "Steven, stop!" Sonic says, "Oh, please! You all must stop Chaos!" Tikal says. Suddenly, the Master Emerald glows bright with Tikal spreading her arms out. Tikal closed her eyes. "Tikal!" Steven says as he reached his hand out before another bright light surrounds the area.

At the white background, Tails talks off screen. "Sonic, Steven, Knuckles! Are you guys okay!?" Tails asked off screen.

Back in Mystic Ruins forest, Sonic, Steven, Tails and Knuckles were seen looking up. Steven was also seen with the same cut marks as they were now seen as scars. "...Tikal..." Steven says in his head. "She's gone" Knuckles says, "Knuckles. Did you understand what she meant about Chaos?" Sonic asked before Knuckles turns to Sonic a bit. "We have to stop Chaos from getting hold of the last Emerald quickly" Knuckles says, "Then let's get moving!" Sonic says, "If we're gonna look for it, then we need the X-Tornado!" Tails says off screen while Steven was looking at his newly visible scars. "No problem" Sonic says before he turns to Steven. "Steven, let's go" Sonic says as Steven looked emotionless. "Steven, come on! We gotta go!" Tails says off screen while looking at his left hand. "Steven, stop day dreaming! We have to get going now!" Knuckles says off screen before Steven clenched his fist and began to slowly growl. "Hey...!" Chris says off screen before Sonic, Tails and Knuckles looked a bit surprised while Steven continued looking at his fist. "...You guys, look!" Chris says off screen, "Huh?" Knuckles asked before he, Sonic and Tails turn around. Chris was seen running while holding the glowing Red Chaos Emerald in his hand. This caused Knuckles to jumped back a bit while growling. As Chris continued running, a thud was heard and a vibration was felt. This caused Chris to yell before he stopped running. "Huh?" Steven asked before turning around. Underneath Chris, water was bursting out of the ground before Chris flew up in the air. The water then formed into a watery tornado. "What?" Sonic asked before he runs towards the watery tornado. "Chris!" Sonic says before he jumps into the watery tornado. "Sonic! Chris!" Steven says before he runs towards the watery tornado. Steven fired his wrist mounted grapple gun at a nearby tree and the claw hooks on the tree. While the claw was hooked, Steven jumps into the watery tornado before grabbing Sonic's hand with his right hand as his left hand was sticking out due to the grapple wire. Sonic, Steven and Chris held on to each other while struggling a bit. "Chris! Hold tight, buddy!" Sonic says off screen before Chris lets go of the Red Chaos Emerald. Knuckles than runs towards the watery tornado. "Just hang on!" Knuckles says before he jumps and kicks the watery tornado. This caused the watery tornado to break apart and for Sonic, Steven and Chris to land on the ground. The Red Chaos Emerald drops on the ground before the ground cracks open. This caused the Red Chaos Emerald to fall in the pit. Tails yelled as a pit began to widen in front of him. Tails then uses his tails to fly away from the area. Suddenly, water was rising from the pit before it rises up in the air. The water then slowly falls down into the pit. This caused the vibration to stop. "No! He's got the last Emerald!" Sonic says off screen before Knuckles steps forward while looking down. "So Chaos has all seven Emeralds now" Knuckles says, "I'm sorry, Knuckles. It's all my fault" Chris says off screen before Knuckles turns his head a bit. Steven and Chris were seen soaked while they and Sonic were looking downwards. Tails then goes up to everyone. "Now what do we do?" Tails asked before Knuckles turns to Sonic. "That creature is more powerful than all of us now. It can't be stopped" Knuckles says before Sonic growls while clenching his fist. "But we have to try! The X-Tornado's not that far from here! Let's go now!" Sonic says before he, Tails, Knuckles and Chris ran together while Steven didn't follow and was looking at the ground. Chris then noticed Steven not following them. "Hey, Steven! What are you doing? Come on! Let's go!" Chris says while Steven continued looking down with an emotionless face. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles stopped when they noticed Steven not following them. "Steven, stop standing around and let's go!" Knuckles says, "Steven, what's wrong?" Tails asked, "Steven... Are you alright?" Sonic asked. Steven slowly turns around and walks forward a bit. Steven slowly picks up a rock and looks at it. After a few seconds, Steven clenches his hand to the rock. Suddenly, Steven slowly looked mad before he breaks the rock with his hand followed by a yell. Tails and Chris yelled and jumped a bit. "Those stupid...!" Steven says before he walks towards a tree. "Steven..." Sonic says, "Cold-hearted... Thirsty...!" Steven says before he began punching the tree rapidly. This caused the whole area to shake with Tails and Chris exclaiming. "Steven, hey!" Knuckles says before he goes up to Steven and puts his hand on his shoulder. "Hey, calm down!" Sonic says before he also puts a hand on Steven's shoulder. Steven then shoved Sonic and Knuckles off him before stopping. "No! No, you all don't get it!" Steven says before pointing at Sonic and Knuckles. "Of all the past events I had to see from the last two days, this is what I had to see!? Someone giving up their life just like that!?" Steven asked, "Steven, we get it! We know you're upset, but you gotta understand..." Sonic says before Steven began walking away from everyone. "Hey! Where are you going? Come back!" Knuckles says, "Steven, come back!" Tails says before Chris ran towards Steven. "Steven, wait!" Chris says, "No... I gotta go" Steven says, "What do you mean you gotta go? Where are you going?" Chris says, "Doesn't matter" Steven says, "No, Steven wait. Of all the times you've helped us, you can't just give up now! We need you! You do not want to be alone right now!" Chris says before putting a hand on Steven's shoulder. Steven then turns to Chris. "Chris, I need to be alone! You all gotta leave me alone!" Steven says before he continues walking away. "But, Steven..." Chris says before Steven raised his hand out to Chris while still walking. "Leave me alone!" Steven says as he walked deeper in the forest. "Where are you going? Steven, where are you going? Steven!" Chris says, "Chris, it's okay" Sonic says off screen before Chris turns to Sonic. "Steven needs time to think this through. He'll join us when he's ready. Come on, we gotta get out of here!" Sonic says, "You all go. I'll try to get Steven on board quicker" Knuckles says, "Alright then" Sonic says, "Hmm" Chris says as he looked at the path Steven went in. From behind Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Chris, three wild Chaos' appeared from above. "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" the three wild Chaos' said at the same time with worried expression on their faces. The three wild Chao then look at the path Steven walked in.

Outside of Station Square, the sky was fully dark clouded.

At Station Square, everyone was doing their normal errands. Suddenly, a thud was heard and felt. "Huh?" a group of people asked at the same time while stopping and looking around.

In the sewers, the water began to make uncontrollable waves.

At another part of Station Square, Sam was seen writing a ticket to a pedestrian that was inside a yellow car. "You were doing 50 in a 35-mile-an-hour zone. But since you did ask me for my autograph by the name of "Electric Shock Racer", I'll let you off with a warning this time" Sam says. Suddenly, the manhole that was seen around Sam, the pedestrian and car was shaking. Suddenly, water shoots upwards, causing the manhole to fly up. "Whoa!" Sam says as he looks at the water. "Must be a water main break!" Sam says.

At another part of Station Square, people screamed as more water began to shoot out from manholes in different spots.

Back with Sam, he saw all this as people ran. "Weird" Sam says before water drips fly down.

On an upper highway of Station Square, the upper highway began to break down due to the pressure of a wave of water.

At another apart of Station Square, a big wave of water shoots out from a building, causing glass windows to shatter. More buildings began to shoot out water and the streets began to flood.

Back with Sam, he was pointing at a building for people to run into while people followed his arrow. "You'll be safe here! Hurry!" Sam says as he didn't notice a big wave of water getting close to where he is. Sam turns around before he was pushed by another wave of water.

At another part of Station Square, a wave of water shoots out from another building and began to take shape. The wave of water took shape of the same shape of the water monster from the Lost Temple mural. The water monster opens it's eyes before it lets out a roar. The water monster was known as Chaos' final and ultimate God of Destruction form: Perfect Chaos.

Outside of the White House, it was also cloudy in the area. "Station Square is flooded!" Scarlet says off screen.

Inside the White House, the President, Christina, Topaz and Rouge were watching the news on TV. "We don't know the exact cause of the disaster yet, but eyewitnesses reported that something went horribly wrong in the city's water system" Scarlet says from the TV before the TV changes to Station Square being fully flooded. "As you can see, there's complete devastation... Oh, my! There's something down there!" Scarlet says from the TV off screen before it showed Perfect Chaos swimming through Station Square. "It appears to be some kind of monster!" Scarlet says from the TV off screen.

At the news channel room, one of the workers was watching a TV that had Scarlet and another one talking on the phone. "Tell that pilot to fly closer to the monster!" the worker that was talking on the phone says.

Back inside the White House, the President and Christina were holding phones as they, Topaz and Rouge continue to watch the TV. "A counterattack is impossible! Our missile launchers were caught in the flood!" a man says from the phone off screen. "What about fighter jets!? How many do we have in the area!?" Christina asked, "Throw everything we've got at it! As commander-in-chief, I authorize you to do whatever it takes to stop that thing!" the President says off screen.

Back in Station Square, Perfect Chaos sliced a building in half with its arm. This caused the upper half to crash in the ocean with a big splash.

At the Thorndyke Mansion, it was also cloudy. "Much of the city is now in ruins!" Scarlet says off screen.

Inside the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Ella, Cream and Cheese were watching the news that showed Station Square flooded. "The only good news is that nobody has been seriously hurt..." Scarlet says from the TV off screen before it showed Perfect Chaos continue swimming through Station Square. "...But the monster is still..." Scarlet says from the TV off screen before Cheese waved their arms. "Chao! Chao! Chao!" Cheese says, "...Attacking us!" Scarlet says from the TV off screen before Ella and Cream look at Cheese. "What are you trying to say, Cheese?" Cream asked before Cheese flies in front of Cream's face. "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" Cheese says before they look back at the TV. "Don't worry, that flood won't hurt you" Ella says before Cheese looks at Ella. "Right" Cream says before Cheese looks at Cream. "We're going up to the mountains where it's safe" Cream says before Cheese looked mad. "Chao! Chao! Chao!" Cheese says while bouncing up and down. Chuck then enters the living room. "What're you waiting for?" Chuck asked before Cream, Cheese and Ella look at him. "We have to get out of here fast!" Chuck says, "But we can't go yet because Mr. Chris still hasn't come back home" Ella says, "Where is he?" Chuck asked.

In the cloudy skies, the X-Tornado was flying. "We've gotta stop Chaos somehow!" Chris says off screen.

Inside the X-Tornado, Chris was looking at Tails while Tails looked serious. "Faster, we don't have much time!" Chris says before Tails nods his head. "Better hang on!" Tails says.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado flew into the clouds.

On a highway, Sonic's blur was seen as he was running. "If I don't get to the city fast, there won't be anything left to save...!" Sonic says. "Steven, I hope you come to your senses!" Sonic says in his head.

At another part of Station Square, it showed Perfect Chaos look at a building on a big TV. "The monster is downtown, leaving a wave..." Scarlet says off screen before Perfect Chaos was seen above and behind the big TV. "...Of destruction in its..." Scarlet says off screen before Perfect Chaos sliced the whole area, causing waves to crash everywhere. "...Wake!" Scarlet says off screen.

Back at Chris' Elementary School, it was cloudy as Mr. Stewart and another teacher were guiding the children to a direction while the children either ran, sit, huddle and cry. "Children, we're all moving up the slope here!" Mr. Stewart says as the children continue yelling before a ring was heard. Mr. Stewart then looks at his watch. "Roger. This isChalkboard Charlie" Mr. Stewart says, "We need you back here at headquarters on the double!" the man says from Mr. Stewart's watch off screen before Mr. Stewart narrowed his eyes a bit. Mr. Stewart then looks to the left and sees Frances and Danny pushing Helen's wheelchair as Helen was holding onto a support. Mr. Stewart then looks back at his watch. "But I can't leave my students!" Mr. Stewart says, "What? This is a direct order!" the man says from the watch off screen before Mr. Stewart grunts. "You... I'm sorry, I didn't copy that. Can you repeat, Homeroom?" Mr. Stewart asked before he hangs his watch up. Mr. Stewart then looks at Frances, Danny and Helen who went up to him. "Sir!?" Frances asked, "Are you the last ones?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Yeah, the others went ahead" Danny says, "That's good" Mr. Stewart says before he goes behind Helen's wheelchair. "Then follow me!" Mr. Stewart says before he pushes Helen's wheelchair. "Okay" Danny says, "All right" Frances says as they followed everyone else.

Back at the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado was flying above the bridge as Station Square was seen flooded with smoke rising from a lot of buildings.

In the foyer of the Thorndyke Mansion, Cream, Cheese and Chuck were looking at Mr. Tanaka. "I'll wait for Chris. As a former water polo champion, I can swim both of us to safety when the flood comes" Mr. Stewart says. Chuck then looks at Cheese who was waving their arms. "Chao! Chao!" Cheese says, "All right" Chuck says before he grabs Cheese and make their way to the front door. Cream opens the door and she, Cheese, Chuck and Ella began to leave while Mr. Tanaka turns around, crosses his arms and sits. Ella then closes the front door.

Back at Mystic Ruins, Knuckles was seen running through the forest. "Steven! Steven, where are you!? Steven!" Knuckles says before he slows down a bit and grunts. "Grr! Where could he be? He couldn't have gone that far..." Knuckles says before he stops and noticed something. Knuckles saw Steven was looking at the Lost World Temple with an emotionless face. "Steven!" Knuckles says off screen while Steven didn't turn around or change his expression. Knuckles then walks up to Steven from behind. "Steven" Knuckles says, "...What do you want, Knuckles...?" Steven asked, "Steven, we need you" Knuckles says, "No you don't..." Steven says, "What do you mean "No we don't"?" Knuckles asked, "What's the point? You said it yourself we can't help anymore so why bother...?" Steven asked, "Come on, Steven. I said that for reasons. Why are you acting like this now? You've never been like this before and your only making things worse for yourself too. Come on. Why are you acting so stubborn all of a sudden?" Knuckles asked before Steven closes his eyes and scoffs a bit. "Of course you wouldn't understand, Knuckles. None of you do" Steven says, "What are you talking about, Steven?" Knuckles asked before Steven opens his eyes and turns to Knuckles. "Knuckles, be honest with me. Do you care?" Steven asked and this caused Knuckles to get caught off guard. "Care? Steven, what are you-" Knuckles says, "Answer the question! Do you care or not!?" Steven asked before Knuckles sighs. "I do care, Steven..." Knuckles says, "Oh really!? You care!? Pff! Unbelievable! You know if you did care, then why aren't you upset the fact that your clan- your OWN clan is the cause of the Disaster and they're own extinction from that moment we just witnessed earlier!?" Steven asked and Knuckles didn't say anything. "See!? You don't care! Just like you told me before! You never cared!" Steven says, "Steven-" Knuckles says, "Shut up, Knuckles! I'm the one that's talking! Now listen, you may not care for the people that brought you into the world, but I care about my friends regardless of what their clan really desires! Do you have any idea how that effects me!? No! Do you ever wonder how you're around when your own clan got extinct!? No! Do you ever consider learning about the origins of your clan!? NO! You don't! Why!? Because you don't care!" Steven says off screen before Knuckles growls. "Steven, knock it off already! You're overthinking too much here! Now stop it before I do something we'll both regret!" Knuckles says, "Oh look at you! Thinking you're the one that's upset here! Look at me, Knuckles! You know who's clearly the one upset around here! Now you're saying I'm Overthinking!? Overthinking!? Knuckles, I've spent 3 days!" Steven says before he holds up three fingers from his hand. "3 DAYS studying on how this entire Disaster is affecting current time! I've been overthinking from the very beginning when it all happened! What makes you think I'm overthinking right now!? I shouldn't be overthinking anymore after I finally put the pieces together and just witnessed the cause of it! But no! It seems I just can't for one day!" Steven says before he lifts his shirt and showed Knuckles the new scars. "And these scars represent what I had to go through to get them in the first place!" Steven says. Knuckles looks at Steven's scars in a bit surprised. Knuckles then looks at the ground. "Steven I... I get it. You're upset of all how this happened. I know. I really do. I still can't believe you actually got those scars" Knuckles says, "Yeah exactly! And do you wanna know why I got these scars!? It's because I care! I care for all my friends and now I just witnessed one of them giving their life away! Just like that!" Steven says before Knuckles looks at Steven. "Wait. Is all this about Tikal? Are you mad because of what she did, Steven? Is that what this is all about to you?" Knuckles asked before Steven rubs his head. "Oh my...! Now you're just figuring it out! So you do care! Wonderful!" Steven says, "Steven, why are you so upset about all this? This all happened already. Why are you making a big deal out of it?" Knuckles asked, "Knuckles, Tikal plays an important role in all this! Why else wouldn't I make a big deal out of it!? Remember that Orb we've been seeing and following all this time!?" Steven asked, "Yeah? So what?" Knuckles asked before Steven grumbles. "Well, Knuckles" Steven says before moving his arms around. "Newsflash: Tikal's spirit is the Orb itself! Why else would that Orb show us the events that are related to Tikal!? No, scratch that! Why else would Tikal show us these past events!? Why!? Because she plays an important role and has been trying to help us the whole time! She's spent years inside the Master Emerald with Chaos just so Chaos wouldn't destroy the World! It makes me feel upset that she would do something that could affect herself for a lifetime! When I was in the past, she told me she didn't have a great life and I believed her! I don't blame her for trying to make it work out! But when I came into the picture, I wanted to help her...!" Steven says as his eyes were seen shining while his voice was cracking a bit. "I wanted to help her because I was her only friend besides the Chao and Chaos! It makes me feel bad for someone to not have any support from family that only cares for power and not have any friends! It's almost like when I met Helen when she told me she wished her family was always there for her, but I decided to help her because I'm her friend and I care for all my friends regardless if I just met them early or sooner! Helen and Tikal would have been really good friends if I'd made it happen! Don't you see!? They share the similarities of the situation they had to live through and I would have done everything to make them happy even if it's impossible for me to do! Now here's something I feel you should know, Knuckles, but do you know who they and everyone else relate to in that type of situation!? Me! I was just like them before all this happened and I did my best to help them! Knuckles, Tikal had a lot to live for, but now she's just a spirit to our own eyes now!" Steven says before his voice cracked again. "I could've have saved her if it wasn't for her father and his men! They just pushed her and those Chao away like they were stuffed animals you can rag around with! Don't you see!? I was just trying to the hero for her!" Steven says as he had tears in his eyes before he hiccups.

Flashbacks play of Steven's encounters with Tikal. "When I first met her, she was a strong girl, Knuckles! One of the bravest friends I ever made! But the greediness of her father wanting power and for her way of ending it all was the last thing she deserved! Now she's only a ball of life because of what they did to her! She knew this was all gonna happen and I tried to stop them before it did happen! But before I even got the chance to help her, it was too late for me and she vanished! You hear me, Knuckles!? I WAS TOO LATE TO BE HER HERO!" Steven says off screen before it showed Tikal sacrificing her life.

Back to reality, Knuckles looked shock and Steven was on the ground crying while squeezing the dirt. Knuckles then puts his hand on Steven's back and rubbed it. "I... I didn't know... I'm sorry, Steven. I didn't know she meant a lot to you. We were all too focused on trying to stop Eggman and Chaos when really it was you who was seeing the true story behind it all. I don't blame on how you really feel about all this. I'm really sorry" Knuckles says before Steven rubs his eyes. "...It doesn't matter anymore, Knuckles... We're done for... Chaos has the 7 Emeralds in it's possession now... It's only a matter of time before... Before it destroys us and Planet Earth too..." Steven says before rubbing his nose. "We can't give up just yet, Steven. Sonic, Tails and Chris are already on their way to Station Square to try and stop it" Knuckles says, "What difference is it gonna make? Chaos has probably already destroyed Station Square by now and you can't defeat a god... A God of Destruction after all..." Steven says before he looks at the ground. "... Let's face it... We may have won the battles, but we lost this war... I'm sorry, Knuckles, but it's over now..." Steven says before closing his eyes. "Steven" Tikal says off screen before Steven opened his eyes and gasped. "Steven, what's wrong?" Knuckles asked, "I... I just heard Tikal say my name" Steven says, "What?" Knuckles asked, "Tikal?" Steven asked before he looks around. "Where are you...? Wait a minute. Hold on, Knuckles..." Steven says before he closes his eyes. "...Tikal... Did you... Call my name...?" Steven asked in his head. "Yes, Steven" Tikal says in Steven's head before Steven opened his eyes in surprised. "Tikal! Wh-What's going on? How are you talking in my head all of a sudden?" Steven asked in his head. "I'm talking to you telepathically, Steven" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Telepathy? Oh! That's right. Amy talked to me telepathy before and I somehow learned how to do it too" Steven says in his head. "That's right. I've been watching over you and your actions ever since this began and I'm really grateful for what you and your friends have done to try and put an end to this, Steven" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Oh... You have... Well I'm glad you did, but... I'm sorry, Tikal... But we've failed. Chaos got the last Emerald and is gonna destroy Earth any moment now..." Steven says in his head. "No... You didn't fail yet..." Tikal says in Steven's head before Steven looked a bit surprised. "Come again?" Steven asked in his head, "You all haven't failed yet, Steven. You all can still stop Chaos..." Tikal says in Steven's head. "But how, Tikal? Chaos is a God of Destruction and is even powerful than before. There's no way we can stop it now" Steven says in his head. "I know, Steven. I know. I saw what's been going on with Chaos since the beginning and it pains to see it at its current state now, but you have to try to act and stop it" Tikal says in Steven's head. "I don't know, Tikal..." Steven says in his head. "Well what about that other form of yours? Is it possible you can awaken that monster state from before?" Tikal asked in Steven's head. "Tikal... That monster form is not the best idea. From what I've been told I loose control over myself and rampage whatever's on my sight... Just like how you saw it for yourself... I'm sorry, Tikal. I'm sorry you had to see me act like that. You're the last person I wanted you to see me in that state. I'm really sorry" Steven says in head. "It's okay, Steven. I understand why you reacted like that. It's almost like how Chaos felt when my father attacked the Alter, it got mad and killed everyone it saw" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Really? But I was there. Why didn't it kill me?" Steven asked in his head. "It probably saw that you were just trying to stop my father and his men from taking the Emeralds. Chaos could possibly see the good in you. That could be the reason why it didn't kill you" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Really...?" Steven asked in his head. "Possibly, but listen, Steven, you've gotta somehow try to awaken your fury state if you're gonna defeat Chaos. It is the only we'll have the chance to seal it back in the Master Emerald!" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Seal it back in the Master Emerald? How can we do that?" Steven asked in his head. "Remember the prayer?" Tikal asked in Steven's head. "Yeah..." Steven says in his head. "There's an alternate version of the prayer that's different then the one you're familiar with already. It has the power that can create a seal for anyone to be sealed inside the Master Emerald. And as you sadly saw, I did it to keep Chaos in peace as best as I could. That prayer is how I was able to seal Chaos in the Master Emerald for centuries" Tikal says in Steven's head. "...Tikal ..." Steven says in his head. "Please, Steven. You and your friends are the only ones who can stop Chaos now. You have to try and reawaken your fury state. Please, Steven, I know you can do this. I saw what you're really capable of and I'm impress with the way you use it" Tikal says in Steven's head. "Tikal..." Steven says in his head. "Please, Steven. Put a stop to Chaos for itself, for me, the Chao, for your friends, for everyone, for the World and for yourself... I believe in you, Steven... I beg you to save us all..." Tikal says in Steven's head with an echo indicating Tikal finished. Steven opened his eyes before he looked at the sky with Knuckles looking at him. "What happened, Steven?" Knuckles asked while Steven looked at his scars. Steven then looks at Knuckles. "Well... Let's just say I got to speak to an old friend of mine" Steven says before he began walking. "Come on, Knuckles. Let's go" Steven says, "Where are we going?" Knuckles asked before Steven stopped. Steven turns his head to Knuckles before smiling. "We're gonna try and save the World" Steven says.

Back at Station Square, everyone was on top of destroyed buildings as Station Square was now sitting in the ocean.

In the oceans, Sam was seen soaked before he was getting picked up. Sam grunts as Jerome and a few other people were pulling Sam inside a destroyed building. Sam then falls on the floor.

Inside the destroyed building Sam sits up while coughing. "Thanks, that was close" Sam says before he looks at Jerome. This caused Sam and Jerome to look surprise a bit. "Haven't I seen you before?" Sam asked, "Never mind that. Do you know where Vivian is?" Jerome asked.

Back in the skies, G.U.N choppers were seen flying in Station Square.

Back with Sam, he, Jerome and the people watch. "All right! Hope they send that thing down the drain!" Sam says.

Back in Station Square, the G.U.N choppers were flying around Perfect Chaos. "Commence attack pattern Bravo" a troop members says off screen, "Copy that, squad leader" another troop member says off screen, "Let's take it down!" another troop member says off screen before the G.U.N choppers fired their turrets. The bullets hits Perfect Chaos, but Perfect Chaos continued swimming as the turrets had no effect on Perfect Chaos.

Inside one of the G.U.N choppers, the pilot saw this. "Switch to missile fire now" the pilot says.

Back in Station Square, the G.U.N choppers began firing their missiles. The missiles aimed at Perfect Chaos, but they went through its body.

Back inside the G.U.N chopper, the pilot gasped. "Ah! No way...!" the pilot says.

Back in Station Square, Perfect Chaos roared opening its mouth. This caused the missiles from before to fly out of Perfect Chaos' mouth.

Back with Sonic, he stopped in a skid before he saw Station Square's current state. Sonic grunts before jumping from different obstacles to make his way forward.

Back at the battle with Perfect Chaos, the first set of missiles hit two G.U.N choppers and this caused the G.U.N choppers to explode. Another set of missiles hit the third G.U.N chopper and it explodes.

On the rooftops of Station Square, people screamed as they see the pilots parachuting down. "The pilots are okay" a man says off screen, "We need Sonic and Steven" an older man says.

With Dr. Eggman, he was seen inside the cockpit of what looked like the Egg Carrier's cockpit as the lights turned on. Decoe and Bocoe were also seen in their stations. "Systems are go!" Bocoe says, "We're ready to go!" Bocoe says, "Let's take off!" Dr. Eggman says.

In a hanger of Final Egg, there was another Egg Carrier inside. The hanger began to shake as a door was opening from above. "A successful evil genius always has a plan B. That's why I have the..." Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back in Mystic Ruins, the Egg Carrier Two was slowly rising from the ground. "...Egg Carrier Two incase something like this could happen. Chaos better watch out! Because things are about to get really chaotic!" Dr. Eggman says and laughs off screen as the Egg Carrier Two was now out.

At Steven's Castle Mansion, Steven arrived at the property before entering the Castle Mansion.

Inside Steven's Castle Mansion, Steven closed the front door and ran through the hallways.

Inside the living room, E-77 Lucky was on the couch before Steven entered the room. "Lucky!" Steven says before E-77 Lucky turns around and beeped happily. E-77 Lucky hugged Steven and Steven hugged back while chuckling. "I'm glad you're safe too, buddy!" Steven says before he looks at something and gasped. On Steven's TV, it showed Perfect Chaos' in Station Square. "Chaos!" Steven says before he goes up to the TV. "Just like the mural... Chaos has already flooded almost all of Station Square! Luckily this Castle Mansion is miles away from the city so nothing will be flooded around here" Steven says before he goes up to the window. Station Square was seen with black smoke rising and Perfect Chaos from afar. "Yikes! It's almost like that Godzilla movie I saw except everything is flooded and not in flames!" Steven says before he touches the areas the scars are from his reflection. Steven then turns his head to E-77 Lucky. "Come on, Lucky! Everyone needs our help!" Steven says before he turns off the TV, picks E-77 Lucky up and leaves the Castle Mansion.

Back outside of Steven's Castle Mansion, Steven held on to E-77 Lucky's legs while E-77 Lucky flew in the air.

Back in Station Square, Sonic lands and looks at Perfect Chaos who was swimming. "That's it, Chaos! Your destroying days are over!" Sonic says before he spins and flies up.

On one of the rooftops, everyone was looking up. "Hey, look!" a boy says as he pointed up and a girl screams happily.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it swiped Sonic with its arm.

On the ground, Sonic lands with a grunt. Sonic turns around before running up a building. Once Sonic reached the top, he jumps off the building.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos swims a bit and Sonic went through its body. Perfect Chaos roars and this caused Sonic to fly out of its mouth while yelling. Sonic tried positioning himself before Perfect Chaos released giant waves. A piece of wood lands on the wave and Sonic lands on it. Sonic surfed a bit while struggling from the current. "Oh my!" Sonic says, "Sonic!" Chris says off screen, getting Sonic's attention.

Back with the X-Tornado, the X-Tornado was seen flying downwards with Chris reaching his hand out. Chris grabs Sonic's hand before flying back up. "You all right?" Chris asked while water drips fell out from Sonic. "Yeah. Thanks, Chris!" Sonic says, "You think... We'll win...?" Chris asked before Sonic winks. "It'll turn out okay But Chaos is more powerful than ever, so I'll need plenty of help. Can I count on you?" Sonic asked, "You bet!" Chris says, "Okay then, let's do it!" Sonic says before he was brought up. Sonic was then seen standing on top of the X-Tornado. "If I wasn't dreaming, that monster is a real menace! Where are you, Steven?" Sonic asked.

Back with Steven and E-77 Lucky, they were flying through the flooded Station Square while watching the battle between the X-Tornado and Perfect Chaos from afar. "There they are!" Steven says before he and E-77 Lucky land on a highway while E-77 Lucky beeped. "Okay, Lucky, listen. I want you to fly out through Station Square and find all our friends" Steven says before he picks up a piece of debris. "And get them to follow you to come to this X marked spot" Steven says while scraping an "X" on the ground. "We need all the help we can get to defeat this beast" Steven says before he throws the piece of debris away. "Then let them know Sonic, Tails and Chris are in the X-Tornado battling with Chaos right now. I'm gonna do my best to help out anyway possible" Steven says and E-77 Lucky beeped. "Good luck, Lucky! Be careful!" Steven says before E-77 Lucky walks away a bit. E-77 Lucky flew away from Steven and Steven looks at the battle between the X-Tornado and Perfect Chaos. "Yikes! Chaos is even more terrifying up close. Tikal, I may not be able to unlock my rage state easily, but I can still try to give it my all!" Steven says before he jumps top of different destroyed buildings while making his way towards Perfect Chaos.

On top of a destroyed building, everyone was looking at the bottom. "Look, it's Steven!" a girl says, "All right, Steven!" a man says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it shoots water spears from the ocean and they fire upwards.

Back at the X-Tornado, it dodges the water spears.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it moves around while roaring before the X-Tornado flies past it.

Back at the X-Tornado, Sonic noticed something before looking up. "What's this?" Sonic asked before a shadow casts over. Sonic looks up to see the Egg Carrier Two. "Back off, Sonic! Chaos double-crossed me! Now it's payback time!" Dr. Eggman says off screen as the Egg Carrier Two was seen flying. "Eggman! This time he's fighting on our side!? He must be after Chaos, too!" Sonic says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it saw the Egg Carrier Two.

Back with Steven, he stopped running and jumping as he saw the Egg Carrier Two. "Eggman!" Steven says.

Back inside the cockpit of the Egg Carrier Two, Decoe turns to Dr. Eggman. "All attack systems are online!" Decoe says before Bocoe raises his fist. "Blast charges are loaded and ready to fire at your command!" Bocoe says, "You're through you, stupid beast!" Dr. Eggman says as he raises his fist up before putting it back down. "The price of the disloyalty to the Eggman Empire and your master is to be destroyed at all costs!" Dr. Eggman says before he points forward. "Front missiles fire!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back in the skies, the Egg Carrier Two began to shoot missiles.

Back sigh Steven, he saw the incoming missiles. "Whoa oh! I better get out the way!" Steven says before he runs and jumps away from the area.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it saw the missiles before it creates a shield. This caused the missiles to hit the shield and they explode. Once the shield was down, Perfect Chaos opens it's mouth and lets out a powerful beam.

Back with the Egg Carrier Two, Perfect Chaos' beam hits the Egg Carrier Two and this caused the Egg Carrier Two to descend down.

Back with Steven, he continued running and jumping before stopping as he saw the Egg Carrier Two crashed near him. The Egg Carrier Two suddenly explodes before Steven stops and shields himself while grunting. Steven unshielded himself before looking to where the Egg Carrier Two crashed. "Eggman!" Steven says.

Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were then seen on the Egg Mobile flying out while screaming. "Oh no! Aaaaahhhhh!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time as they go further in the cloudy sky.

Back with Steven, Steven grunted. "Well that sucks!" Steven says before he continues running and jumping.

Back at the X-Tornado, Sonic saw this. "Oh, great! How are we going to beat it now!?" Sonic asked.

Back with Perfect Chaos, the Orb was seen flying out from the cloudy skies while Perfect Chaos continued roaring.

Back with Steven, he continued running and jumping before he noticed the Orb flying towards the X-Tornado. This made Steven gasped before he speeds up.

Back at the X-Tornado, Sonic noticed the Orb before the Orb shines a bright light. Tails and Chris scream and close their eyes from the light. It revealed that the Orb was surrounding the X-Tornado while it went down.

Back on the ground where Steven carved the "X" mark, the X-Tornado was brought to the ground before the light dies out. Sonic then jumps off the X-Tornado and lands on the ground. "This just keeps getting freakier and freakier!" Sonic says before Steven stops in front of him while panting. "You guys, okay...?" Steven asked before Sonic turns to him in surprised. "Steven, you made it!" Sonic says, "Uh huh. I took a breather and decided to finally join in. Are you guys alright?" Steven asked, "We're fine, but are you okay, Steven? Because you were really stressed back there and I didn't want to drag you here too quickly" Sonic says, "I know, Sonic. I'm sorry I snapped, but don't worry. I'm fine now. Really. So what happened anyway?" Steven says while rubbing his head. "I don't know, we were suddenly brought back to the ground and..." Sonic says before he noticed something. Sonic and Steven look up to see the Orb. "It's that Orb!" Sonic says, "No. It's her..." Steven says before Sonic looks at him. "Her? Wait, you mean that's...?" Sonic asked and Steven nodded. Steven brought his hand out and the Orb flies above it. "Sonic, this Orb... Is someone... That sealed Chaos inside the Master Emerald and... the one who has helped all of us... On this Adventure... Everyone... Meet Tikal!" Steven says. Suddenly, a bright light surrounds the whole area before Tikal makes her physical appearance in the present time. This made Sonic and Steven gasped again . "You again!" Sonic says before the light dies out. "Tikal... I can't believe it was really you this whole time" Steven says, "Yes, Steven. I'm the one that's been guiding you and everyone to stop Chaos from it causing destruction in current time. Now I know this is a lot to take in, but please let me explain" Tikal says, "Of course" Steven says before he turns to Sonic. "Sonic?" Steven asked, "Sure. go right ahead" Sonic says before he and Steven look at Tikal. "Since the day of my father's invasion, my heart have spent years remaining inside the Master Emerald along with Chaos to help keep its power under control. But some evil black heart woke up Chaos with a plan to use its power for an evil purpose" Tikal says before Sonic and Steven look at each other. "Eggman" Sonic and Steven said at the same time.

A flashback shows Dr. Eggman picking up the stone of Perfect Chaos after reversed Chaos Control took place. "He must have uncovered the way to..." Sonic says off screen before it shows the Master Emerald Alter spreading brown smokes along with sparkles. "...Revive Chaos somehow so he could use..." Sonic says off screen before it shows Chaos 0. "...It to take over the world" Sonic says off screen. "He must have found out sometime after reversed Chaos Control and didn't realize the truth about Chaos" Steven says off screen.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it opens it's mouth and all the 7 Chaos Emeralds fly out.

Back on the ground, the glowing Purple Chaos Emerald lands by Tikal's feet. "It just spat out the Emeralds!" Steven says before the Purple Chaos Emerald stopped glowing. "Huh? What happened to it?" Steven asked before Tikal picks up the Purple Chaos Emerald and bents down. "Look! Chaos has now absorbed all the Emeralds of their power" Tikal says, "What?" Sonic asked, "No way..." Steven says before he bents down and looks at the Purple Chaos Emerald. Steven then looked surprised. "It did..." Steven says before Steven looks at Tikal. "Tikal..." Steven says, "Steven, ever since my clan attacked the temple, Chaos has known only hate, anger and sadness. It will use the power of the seven Emeralds to destroy this world like it did before! We have to seal Chaos back in the Master Emerald before it's too late! NOW!" Tikal says off screen while Steven looked a bit uneasy. "How can that help? It won't work easily" Sonic says, "Huh?" Tikal asked before standing up and she and Steven looked at Sonic. "If we seal it in the Master Emerald, the same thing will only happen again. It won't change how he feels inside, will it? His heart will still remain in turmoil and his anger just won't vanish! He'll just be trapped forever!" Sonic says, "What choice do we have?" Tikal asked before Steven looks at her. "I'm sorry, Tikal, but Sonic's right. We have to end this already" Steven says before Tikal looks at him. "But Steven..." Tikal says, "I know, Tikal. I know you told me it was the only way, but we just can't let it go on forever like that. Especially on who were really up against" Steven says before he looks at the ground. "See, when I first met Chaos..." Steven says.

Flashbacks play of Steven encounters and battles of Chaos and its forms. "I thought it was just a creature that wreaks havoc whenever it feels like it, but when it came to the point that I couldn't damage Chaos in anyway possible, I was beginning to get nervous that I wasn't strong enough to even take it down. Even with help, I still wasn't able to damage it on my own. Then when I figured out who Chaos really was, I got scared. I was scared to try and go up against a God of Destruction, but I had to at least try and help, but it kept ending with the same results" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continued. "After the past events you showed me, I began to slowly understand why Chaos is like what it is today and I wanted to do everything I can to help it from causing more danger today, but..." Steven says before he lifts up his shirt and shows the scars. Sonic and Tikal gasped as they saw the scars. "... I had to pay the price..." Steven says before he lets go of his shirt. "Tikal, Chaos is an incredible being I've encounter and I don't like seeing it with just negativity. I want to do whatever I can to help it even if it isn't possible" Steven says, "Steven..." Tikal says, "Tikal, I know it's hard for you, but we have to try" Steven says, "He's right, Tikal. No matter how difficult it's gonna be, we just have to find a way to solve this problem once and for all!" Sonic says, "Yes, but how can we?" Tikal asked before Sonic looks at the ground. Steven looked towards Perfect Chaos. Steven then noticed something before looking back at Tikal. "Tikal, does Chaos have some sort of heart in its body anywhere?" Steven asked, "Not physically, but yes it does. And the only life support of Chaos that can be seen physically is its brain" Tikal says. Steven sighs before looking crossing his arms. "This is gonna be difficult than I thought then... Hmm..." Steven says.

At another part of Station Square, Big was seen looking at the Green Chaos Emerald on the ground

At another part of Station Square, E-77 Lucky, Cream, Cheese, Mr. Tanaka, Chuck and Ella were seen looking at the Yellow Chaos Emerald on the ground.

Back with Sonic, Steven and Tikal, they continued looking on the ground. "Sonic! Steven!" Cream says off screen, "Huh?" Sonic and Steven asked at the same time before they look forward. Cream goes past Tikal and went up to Sonic and Steven. "Look, I have something for you two!" Cream says before she shows Sonic and Steven the Yellow Chaos Emerald. "Cream, how did you-?" Steven asked before E-77 Lucky goes up to him while beeping. "Lucky!" Steven says, "Lucky?" Tikal asked before Steven looks at her. "Tikal, this is Lucky. My robotic friend" Steven says before he looks at E-77 Lucky. "Lucky, this is Tikal. My friend" Steven says. E-77 Lucky walks up to Tikal before waving at her happily. Tikal giggled a bit before waving back. "Nice to meet you too, Lucky" Tikal says. Chuck, Ella and Mr. Tanaka were then running up to them while Mr. Tanaka held Cheese. "Lucky told us what was going on and we were about to head over here, but Cream got the Emerald back after Chaos let them all go and Cheese has been acting strange" Chuck says before he, Mr. Tanaka, Ella and Cheese stop in front of them. "Strange? What do you mean?" Steven asked, "Cheese seemed worried when it saw the monster on TV" Cream says, "Saw the monster...? Oh! Well Cream, you might think this is unbelievable, but Cheese and the Chao are actually the children of that sea monster" Steven says before Cream gasped a bit. "That sea monster is Cheese' father?" Cream asked, "I don't know about father, but..." Steven says before he turns to Tikal. "Tikal, is Chaos referred to as male or female?" Steven asked, "Chaos and the Chao have no gender, Steven. Only the person who is willing to care of them can decide it they want them to be male or female. But who is this Cheese you speak about?" Tikal asked before Cream turns to her. "Cheese is my friend right there" Cream says before pointing to Cheese who was still in Mr. Tanaka's arms. Cheese chirps happily before flying to Tikal. Tikal then gasped. "A Chao! They're still living in this world?" Tikal asked, "Yeah! We visited a friend's hometown and we found a Garden filled with Chao!" Cream says, "Wow... That's amazing" Tikal says and Cheese chirps happily at Tikal. From behind Sonic and Steven, Amy was seen running while holding the Blue Chaos Emerald with Lily and her family flying from behind her. "Hey, Sonic! Steven!" Amy says before Sonic, Steven, E-77 Lucky, Cream, Cheese, Tikal, Mr. Tanaka, Chuck and Ella look at her. "Amy!" Sonic says before Amy, Lily and her family stop in front of them. "Here, take this!" Amy says as she showed Sonic and Steven the Blue Chaos Emerald. "Another Emerald!" Steven says. Big then walks up to Sonic and Steven. "Huh?" Sonic asked while he and Steven looking up at Big. "Big, you're here too?" Steven asked. Big then shows he had the Green Chaos Emerald. "I finally got back the pretty rock that Froggy swallowed. You can borrow it if you want to, Steven" Big says and Steven chuckles a bit. "Thanks, Big" Steven says. From behind Amy and Big, Knuckles, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were then seen walking while Decoe and Bocoe. "Oh!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. This caused Sonic and Steven to look at them. "Even Knuckles, Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe are here" Steven says, "Yeah. Hey guys, what's up?" Sonic asked before Tails walked in front of Knuckles, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe. "Sonic, Chaos only used the negative power of the Emeralds. If you and Steven can harness their real power, you can defeat Chaos!" Tails says before Knuckles shows he had the Red Chaos Emerald. "Here, as much as I hate to admit it. You two have more experiences at being the heroes" Knuckles says, "Thanks, Knuckles..." Sonic says before Knuckles turns to Dr. Eggman who was facing away. "Eggman!?" Knuckles asked before Dr. Eggman brings his head down a bit. "Oh, all right. Take it" Dr. Eggman says before he shows he had the Cyan Chaos Emerald. "That makes 6 in total including the one Tikal has" Steven says, "We need one more" Tails says, "Sonic! Steven!" Chris says off screen, making Tails turn to the left. Chris was then seen running with the White Chaos Emerald. "Look what I found!" Chris says as he continued running before he trips. This caused Chris to fall on the ground. "Chris!" Sonic and Steven said at the same time before they runs up to Chris. Sonic bents down to help Chris. "You okay, pal?" Steven asked before Chris looks at him and Sonic. "Guys, look!" Chris says before he showed Sonic and Steven the White Chaos Emerald. Sonic and Steven then smile. "That makes all 7 now!" Steven says, "I knew you'd come through" Sonic says and Chris chuckles.

Back on the rooftops, everyone saw this. "Sonic!" a boy says, "Go, Sonic and Steven!" a woman says, "Yeah, Sonic!" a man says, "Go get 'em, Steven!" a girl says, "Sonic!" another woman says, "Steven!" another boy says, "Sonic and Steven!" another man says.

Back on the ground, Sonic, Steven and Chris watch the crowd cheer. Sonic then looks at Steven. "Steven, ready to try and go Super for the first time?" Sonic asked and Steven gasped a bit. "What!? Super!? You mean like you do!?" Steven asked, "Uh huh. With two Super Hedgehogs, we'll have the better chance of winning this" Sonic says, "But I've never tried that before!? I don't even know if I'm capable of doing that just yet" Steven says, "We'll never know unless we try" Sonic says, "Sonic's right, Steven. With you two in Super, you'll be able to save the day in no time" Chris says while Steven still looked insured. "I don't know..." Steven says, "Steven, listen. This is not about being perfect, it's about the goodness of heart and you risked your life to save the world many times. That already makes you righteous as I see it. And with the Disaster taking place, you have a righteous heart to even go Super right now. So here's how we're gonna do it. We're gonna join hands and I'm gonna transfer some Chaos Energy to you. Once I have transferred some Chaos energy to you, you have focus on the Chaos energy flowing through you and once you do, you'll be able to take the form of a Super Hedgehog" Sonic says while Steven looked a bit surprised. "Steven, you may think this is too much, but you've been fighting on our side for a long time now. We'd be lost without you. I know you can do it" Chris says. Tails, Amy, Lily, Lily's family, Cream, Cheese, Big, Chuck, Mr. Tanaka, Ella and E-77 Lucky look towards Steven. "Chris' right, Steven. You've changed a lot since you came to Earth and have done so many good deeds. You're like a Model Citizen!" Tails says. Everyone except Tikal applauses for Steven while Steven continued to look surprised. After a few seconds, Steven smiles. "Alright. I'll give it a shot" Steven says. Suddenly, the White Chaos Emerald Chris held onto glows. Sonic, Steven and Chris then looks at the White glowing Chaos Emerald. "The Emeralds are getting their power back!" Chris says before the White glowing Chaos Emerald floats up. Knuckles watched as the Red Chaos Emerald glowed and floated. Amy gasped as she saw the Blue Chaos Emerald glow and float. Cream, Cheese, Chuck, Ella and Mr. Tanaka gasped as they saw the Yellow Chaos Emerald glow and float. Tails and Big saw the Green and Purple Chaos Emeralds glow and float. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe watch the Cyan Chaos Emerald glow and float as well. Sonic and Steven nodded at each other before they held hands and began to float up.

In a yellow background, Sonic and Steven were seen floating along with the 7 Chaos Emeralds that circle around him. Sonic and Steven closed their eyes before Sonic's fur changed to gold as Sonic turned back into Super Sonic. Super Sonic and Steven then go higher up. Tikal gasped as she saw this. "I thought the power of the Emeralds could only be awakened by hate and anger" Tikal says, "There are other feelings that are even powerful" Knuckles says as he looked up. Tails was also seen looking up. "Negative forces aren't the only way to empower the Chaos Emeralds. See, when everybody gave their Chaos Emeralds to Sonic and Steven, it was because of our positive feelings of friendship. Our hearts together form awesome power. Caring is stronger than hate, and that's how Sonic and Steven are going to beat Chaos!" Tails says. Super Sonic then opened his eyes as sparkles were around him before looking at Steven. "Steven, are you feeling any different? Any changes you feel in your body?" Super Sonic asked, "No. I... I don't think so, Sonic" Steven says, "Try focusing harder" Super Sonic says before Steven focused harder. Suddenly around Super Sonic and Steven, a gust of wind started to push around them and this caused the area around them to shake.

Back on the ground, everyone saw the wind and the wind began to blow pieces of debris around. This caused everyone to take cover. from the debris. "Is it working!?" Amy asked.

Back in the yellow background, Super Sonic and Steven were still holding hands. "Do you feel any different now, Steven?" Super Sonic asked, "I don't know exactly, but I'm definitely feeling something. But I don't know if I feel like I'm on the path to becoming Super though. What does that even feel like?" Steven asked, "It's kind of hard to explain, but Steven, your energy is higher than it was before. I've never felt anything like this" Super Sonic says, "Yeah. It's strong, I'll admit. It's probably because my body is slowly getting used to it" Steven says, "Then I'll have to transfer more Chaos energy then" Super Sonic says before Steven closed his eyes. Another gust of wind pushes around them again followed by more shakes.

Back on the ground, everyone continues to take cover from the wind and flying debris. After a few seconds, the wind stops and nothings changed around Super Sonic and Steven. Everyone except Knuckles and Tikal look up in confusion. "Did it work?" Chuck asked, "Shouldn't he be glowing gold like Sonic?" Mr. Tanaka asked, "He looks like as if nothing happened" Ella says, "Hmm. Interesting" Tails says, "Wonder what happened?" Cream asked and Cheese chirps. "Whatever it was, I hope it did something" Amy says and E-77 Lucky beeped. Super Sonic and Steven descended down back to the ground before opening their eyes. Steven then looked at himself. "Nothing happened. I don't feel anything different, but a bit stronger. Did we do it wrong?" Steven asked, "No. You should have been able to achieve Super" Super Sonic says, "Don't bother with it, guys" Knuckles says before Steven and Super Sonic look at him. "It didn't work. Steven, you don't have the full power of becoming Super" Knuckles says, "Yeah, but that power boost I just felt..." Steven says, "You did briefly become stronger, but only because you absorb Sonic's life energy. Other than that, I'm not sure" Knuckles says before Tikal steps forward. "I'm afraid Knuckles' is right, Steven. Your reaction to the Emeralds energy was just a superficial boost, not a transformation in form" Tikal says, "You're right. I don't really feel any major changes on me" Steven says, "But..." Tikal says before everyone looks at her. "This caught my attention. The main possible reason I can come up with for you not to access a form given by the Emeralds energy is because you may possibly have a natural instability that won't allow you to use any energy like Chaos energy, Steven. That could be why the Emeralds didn't fully react towards you" Tikal says, "Are you sure? Do you think there's something holding Steven back from transforming?" Amy asked, "It's possible, but at the same time the Emeralds do react differently with another person" Tikal says off screen while Dr. Eggman looked a bit curious. "Hmm... I was right. There's definitely something unique about Steven... But what could it be...?" Dr. Eggman asked in his head. Tikal then clasped her hands. "I'm sorry, but I wished I had a better answer for you all" Tikal says, "It's okay, everyone" Steven says off screen before everyone looks at him in surprised. "Even if I can't go Super, this power boost is still enough for me to help! And I'm gonna prove it once I battle Chaos!" Steven says before he turns to Super Sonic. "Right, Sonic?" Steven asked while turning to Super Sonic. Super Sonic then smiled. "Yeah" Super Sonic says and Steven smiles. Super Sonic then turns to Chris. "Chris, things are about to get dangerous. You and everyone should give us space" Super Sonic says before Chris nodded. "Okay! Be careful, you guys!" Chris says before he runs towards everyone else. Everyone except Tikal began to give Super Sonic and Steven space while Tikal walks up to Steven. "Steven" Tikal says before Steven looks at her. "Yes, Tikal" Steven asked, "Please be careful, okay?" Tikal asked and Steven smiles. "I will. Come on. Get going" Steven says before Tikal walks away. Tikal stops before turning her head to Steven a bit. Steven nodded his head before Tikal looked forward and runs up to everyone else. Super Sonic then flies up to Steven and Steven turns to him. "Alright, Steven. We gotta stop Chaos before it destroys the city" Super Sonic says, "Okay. We'll alternate with one of us distracting it while the other attacks. Got it?" Steven asked, "Alright. Let's do this!" Super Sonic says before Steven jumps on different platforms towards Perfect Chaos with Super Sonic flying following from above.

Back with Steven, he lands on a platform that was close to Perfect Chaos with Super Sonic floating above him. Steven then looks up at Perfect Chaos. "Hey, Chaos!" Steven says before Perfect Chaos looks down at him. "We're gonna rock you like a hurricane!" Steven says. Perfect Chaos growls before letting out a roar close to Steven. This caused Perfect Chaos' breath to hit Steven and for Steven to shield himself. Perfect Chaos stops and Steven unshielded himself. "Oh snap!" Steven says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos began shooting out purplish energy blast towards Steven.

Back with Steven, he saw the purplish energy blast coming in his direction. "Whoa oh!" Steven says before jumping off the platform.

With Super Sonic, he charged while having his fist forward. Super Sonic began destroying some of the purplish energy blast and this caused some of the purplish energy blast to explode around him.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it creates a shield before Super Sonic charged right through it. This caused the shield to shatter, for Perfect Chaos to looks its balance and waves to crash around the area.

Back with Steven, the impact of the waves caused him to drop down on the ground while grunting. Steven looks towards Perfect Chaos before shielding himself from the water and debris. Steven unshielded himself before getting back up while panting.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roars before creating long water needles from the ocean.

Back with Steven, he saw this. "Now that's a lot of needles to overcome!" Steven says.

Back with Super Sonic, he saw the water needles rise towards him before doing a spin. Once the water needles made contact with Super Sonic's spin, they shattered.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it then fires another beam from its mouth. Super Sonic dodges it before Perfect Chaos stopped the beam.

Back with Steven, he saw how distracted Perfect Chaos was with Super Sonic. "I've gotta somehow get close to its brain while it's distracted!" Steven says. Steven looks around before he spots a trail that leads close to Perfect Chaos. "Hope this works!" Steven says before he jumps towards the trail and runs on it.

Perfect Chaos opens its mouth again and launches another beam, but in another direction.

Back with Steven, he continued running before he ran off the trail. Steven gasped before he closes his eyes. Steven thought he was gonna fall in the water, but that wasn't the case. Steven opened his eyes before looking down to see he was running on water. "Aw yeah!" Steven says before he speeds up towards Perfect Chaos.

Back on the ground, Chris, Tails, Chuck, Mr. Tanaka yelled as the beam was about to hit them, E-77 Lucky, Amy, Big, Ella, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe, but Super Sonic flew to the front and used his arms to block it. Chris shielded himself as the beam sparkles flew by. Chris unshielded himself and looks forward. "Sonic! Steven!" Chris says.

Back with Steven, he was about to go up to Perfect Chaos. "Here it goes!" Steven says before he spins. As Steven spins, Steven goes inside Perfect Chaos' body

Back in the yellow background, the bright light clears and Super Sonic puts his arms down. "You can't stop me!" Super Sonic says.

Back on the ground, Mr. Tanaka, Cheese, Knuckles, Cream, Tails, Chris, Chuck, Ella, Amy and Big gasped happily along with the crowd. Chris then noticed something. "Hey, look!" Chris says before everyone looks forward.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Steven's spin was seen making his way up Perfect Chaos before Steven's spin made contact with Perfect Chaos' brain. This caused Perfect Chaos to roar in pain and for it to shatter with a big splash. Steven was also seen dropping down towards a platform.

Back on the ground, everyone gasped a bit. "All right! He got him!" Chris says before everyone cheered.

Back with Super Sonic, he was a bit surprised.

Back with Steven, he lands on the ground. "Woah. I can't believe I just did that. That was amazing" Steven says before standing up as he felt a rumble.

At the ocean, Perfect Chaos' brain was seen from the ocean before a big portion of the ocean rises up. The portion of the ocean takes shape before it reverts to Perfect Chaos. Perfect Chaos' eyes open and its sight sets on something.

Back with Steven, he saw Perfect Chaos was looking at him. "Okay then. Time to get serious!" Steven says before he positions himself.

At an open field away from Station Square, Helen, Danny, Frances, Mr. Stewart and the children saw Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos while the children muttering. Helen then clasped her hands together. "If anybody can stop that monster, Sonic and Steven can" Helen says before Danny steps forward a bit. "Go, Sonic! Go, Steven!" Danny says, "Go, Sonic! Go, Steven! Go, Sonic! Go, Steven! Go, Sonic! Go, Steven! Go, Sonic! Go, Steven!" the children said at the same time.

Back with Steven, he was running and dodging multiple fired energy blast. Steven was also throwing different objects to the fired energy blast to prevent the energy blast from hitting the platforms around him.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos was firing fired energy blast at Steven while swimming towards him while roaring.

Back with Steven, he stopped before he turns to Super Sonic who was flying on the right and looking at Steven. "Sonic, go!" Steven says before Super Sonic flies away. Steven faces Perfect Chaos and continued throwing objects at the fired energy blast. Perfect Chaos was slowly getting close to Steven and Steven continued throwing objects at the fired energy blast. After a few seconds, Steven realized he ran out of objects. "Whoa oh!" Steven says before jumping off the platform he was on. The platform he was just on got destroyed from the wave.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos and the waves began to smash through different sections around Steven while Steven was climbing through the destruction. Perfect Chaos was then heard smashing through a pile while roaring off screen. Steven jumps down and lands on a window section of a destroyed building. Steven gets back up and walks through the section as this caused Steven to break the glass windows on the way. Suddenly, Perfect Chaos' head was seen from the other side of the section while having its eyesight's on Steven. Suddenly, a big wave smashed into a section next to Steven and this caused a vibration. This made Steven grunt and trip a bit before quickly getting back up. Steven jumps down on another platform before Perfect Chaos smashed through the section from behind Steven upwards. Steven then began sliding down a water slide before smashing through a shattered window. This caused the glass to shatter around him.

Back with Perfect Chaos, its head pops out of the area and this caused the waves to smash through the rest of the area while roaring.

Back with Steven, he rolled down in another section before crashing on the ground with a grunt. This caused Steven to hit his head against the ground really hard. Steven slowly lifts his head before it revealed he looked a bit damaged, wet, dusty and had a concussion. Steven felt a headache in his head, nauseous in his stomach, dizzy, deaf, sluggish, confused and feeling down around him. Steven grunts a bit as he looked and felt sick and looked like he was gonna puke. A fainted wave was heard from behind Steven. From behind Steven, Perfect Chaos swims close to him. Steven slowly turns around to see Perfect Chaos roaring at him. Steven tried to move back a bit before Perfect Chaos stopped roaring.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it suddenly looks to the right to see Super Sonic before Super Sonic punched it on the eye.

Back with Steven, he jumped a bit.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos roared in pain before Super Sonic punched its other eye. Super Sonic flies next to Perfect Chaos before Perfect Chaos swims after Super Sonic and away from Steven.

Back with Steven, he watched Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos leaving the area he was at. Steven slowly sits up, rubs his head while grunting and tried going after Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos. As Steven went after Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos creates watered tornadoes from behind the ocean. Steven stops and takes cover from the watered tornadoes a few times while trying to chase after Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared before it positioned its tentacle arm. Perfect Chaos' arm was about to hit Super Sonic, but Super Sonic stopped it by holding it with his hands.

Back with Steven, he saw Perfect Chaos and speeds towards Perfect Chaos again.

Back with Super Sonic, he moved Perfect Chaos' arm a bit and this Perfect Chaos' arm to disappear with sparkles. Super Sonic smirked before positioning himself again. "Is that the best you can do!? Go for it, Steven!" Super Sonic says before he flies up.

Back with Steven, he hears Super Sonic. "Grr! Hold it together for just a little longer, Steven!" Steven says before he spins and goes inside Perfect Chaos' body again.

Back with Perfect Chaos, Steven's spin was seen making his way up Perfect Chaos before Steven's spin made contact with Perfect Chaos' brain again. This caused Perfect Chaos to roar in pain and for it to shatter with a big splash once again.

Back with Steven, he crashes on the ground before getting back up. Steven looks behind him while panting.

Back in the ocean, another portion of water takes shape and Perfect Chaos reforms again.

Back with Steven, he saw Perfect Chaos looking at him while growling. "Oh come on..." Steven says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it opens its mouth and fires another beam forward.

Back with Steven, he saw the beam was heading his direction. Steven shouts before shielding himself. Steven unshielded himself slowly before looking to see Super Sonic stopping the blast. Super Sonic then turns to Steven. "Steven, you okay!?" Super Sonic asked before Steven noticed a tentacle about to hit Super Sonic. "Sonic, watch out!" Steven says before he pushes Super Sonic out the way. This caused Steven to be slapped away by Perfect Chaos' tentacle arm.

Back with Steven, he crashed at a nearby destroyed building with a heavy thud.

Back with Super Sonic, he gasped. "Steven, no!" Super Sonic says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it began to fire multiple fired energy blasts towards the destroyed building Steven was at.

Back with Steven, he was seen knocked out.

Outside of the destroyed building Steven was in, the fired energy blast hit the building. This caused the building to explode with water, smoke and debris flying out.

Inside Steven's head, there were black and white images of all his friends he's made from the beginning to now. "No... This can't be the end me... I've come this far to not fail... For Earth... For everyone of Earth... For my enemies... For my rivals... For my friends... For my best friends... For my new friends... For myself... I really... Blew it... For my... ... ... World..." Steven says off screen before the black and white images were seen exploding.

Back to reality, Steven's eyes opened wide. Steven slowly shakes his entire body and slowly began to look furious with a growl. Steven's eyes then flashed blue and yellow at a fast pace before they stopped at yellow. Steven then showed veins all over his face before he lets out a yell underwater. "CHAOS, I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY MY WOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLD!" Steven says before he formed a green aura around him, causing the area around him to shake. Steven transformed into the first stage of his Wrathful form also known as Wrathful Steven 1. Everything around Wrathful Steven 1 was pushed away with great force. Wrathful Steven 1 spins while yelling as he was making his way up to surface at a really fast pace.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared before looking down as it felt something. Wrathful Steven 1 was seen spinning his way up before he instantly burst out from Perfect Chaos' brain with another great force. This caused Perfect Chaos to roar in pain before exploding again.

Back with Wrathful Steven 1, he was seen flying through the skies.

Back on the ground, everyone gasped as they saw Wrathful Steven 1's aura. "He's changed! This is bad! He's transformed into his fury state like before!" Knuckles says, "What!?" Chris asked, "No way!" Amy says, "Oh no!" Cream says while Cheese chirps and E-77 Lucky beeps. "Wait! Hold on a second. Something's different here. He's not showing any signs of increased bulk and height like he did before" Tails says off screen while Tikal looked surprised.

Back with Super Sonic, he looked surprised as well.

Back at the ocean, Perfect Chaos reforms again before firing fired energy blasts. Wrathful Steven 1 punched and smacked all the fired energy blast away as if they were nothing while flying towards Perfect Chaos. Wrathful Steven 1 then punched Perfect Chaos and this caused Perfect Chaos to tumble and roar in pain. Perfect Chaos began using all its tentacles to attack Wrathful Steven 1, but Wrathful Steven 1 blocks and punches them away at a rapid pace while flying around Perfect Chaos.

Back on the ground, Chuck was rubbing his eyes. "So fast!" Chuck says before he stops and looks up. "Are any of you still following this?" Chuck asked, "Nope. Totally lost" Ella says, "What incredible speed" Mr. Tanaka says.

Back with Perfect Chaos and Wrathful Steven 1, Wrathful Steven 1 continued blocking all of Perfect Chaos' tentacles before getting close to its face. Wrathful Steven 1 then punched Perfect Chaos' face rapidly. Perfect Chaos then fired more fiery energy blasts at Wrathful Steven 1 and Wrathful Steven 1 dodged them with ease. "You wanna use energy blast against me, then FINE!" Wrathful Steven 1 says before he flies around Perfect Chaos with great speed. After a few seconds, Perfect Chaos couldn't see Wrathful Steven 1 until it turns around. Perfect Chaos looks to see Wrathful Steven 1's closed mouth glow green. Wrathful Steven 1 then opened his mouth and fired a green energy beam at Perfect Chaos with a yell.

Back on the ground, everyone saw the green energy beam heading towards Perfect Chaos. "I think that beam is coming from Steven!" Chris says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared in pain as it was hit by the green energy beam. After a few seconds, an explosion happens.

Back on the ground, everyone takes cover from the strong breeze.

Back at the ocean after a few seconds, everything calms down a bit. Once the smoke slowly dies out and clears away Perfect Chaos was nowhere to be seen.

Back with Wrathful Steven 1, he lands on the ground before looking towards where Perfect Chaos was while panting.

Back at the ocean suddenly, the ocean shakes again and Perfect Chaos reforms while growling. This caused a wave to form.

Back with Steven, he saw the wave was heading towards his direction. "Shoot!" Steven says before he jumps off the platform he was on and into another one. The platform he was on before was washed away and destroyed in the process. Steven stands up a bit and saw Perfect Chaos looking at him while growling.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared as lightning was striking around it. Perfect Chaos was then seen glowing before the glow dies out. Perfect Chaos then opens its mouth and a powerful atomic ball was created. The atomic ball then turns into a beam and Perfect Chaos fires it towards the ground.

Back on the ground, everyone gasped at the sight. "Now what's Chaos doing!?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Whatever it is, I don't like it!" Decoe says, "I wished we were back at Final Egg!" Bocoe says, "What's going on now!?" Knuckles asked, "Chaos is releasing all of its energy in to this one attack beam! If that blast hits the ground, the World will be destroyed for good!" Tikal says before everyone gasped.

Back with Wrathful Steven 1, he grunted in surprised.

Back with Super Sonic, he gasped a bit too. "I can't let that blast hit the Earth!" Super Sonic says before he flies as he was about to stop the powerful beam.

Back on the ground, as the beam was about to hit and this caused everyone to scream in panic.

Back with Super Sonic, he grunted as he was close to the powerful beam. "Come on! Almost there...!" Super Sonic says.

Back on the ground, as the beam and Super Sonic were about to be in contact with the ground, a bright light surrounds the whole area followed by a vibration.

Back with Super Sonic once the bright light slowly clears, he was seen shielding himself before opening his eyes a bit. Once Super Sonic fully opened his eyes and unshielded himself, he gasped as he noticed something.

It revealed that Wrathful Steven 1 was pushing the energy beam back with his hands while floating. Wrathful Steven 1 grunted as he was getting pushed back a bit.

Back with everyone on the ground, they unshielded themselves and look up. Everyone gasped as they saw what Steven was doing while holding on from the strong breeze. "Look!" Cream says before Cheese chirped and E-77 Lucky beeped. "Steven's holding back that beam!" Tails says, "How is he doing that!?" Amy asked, "Probably because of that state he's in, but he shouldn't be holding it back with the strength he has compared to his other state!" Knuckles says, "Then how is all this possible!?" Chris asked, "Well from what I could understand, it seems that whenever he transforms into this state, his body must have quickly adapted from the experience when he's fighting in battle with that form! And even with that energy he was given from Sonic, it was enough for Steven to be pushed to new heights of power and strength! So even if he isn't using his full fury power, his power is much greater than before!" Tikal says, "Really!? That's amazing! Then Steven's a lot stronger than ever!" Chuck says, "We shouldn't be celebrating yet, this battle isn't close to ending!" Ella says, "Ella's right! That energy blast is gonna do major damage and Steven may not be able to stop it in his current form!" Mr. Tanaka says. Dr. Eggman watched the action and grunted a bit. "That Hedgehog's definitely something else..." Dr. Eggman says in his head.

Back with Super Sonic, he grunted. "I've gotta help him!" Super Sonic says before he flies towards the beam. As Super Sonic was close to Wrathful Steven 1 and the powerful beam, he was suddenly pushed back by the powerful energy force. This caused Super Sonic to grunt and flip in the air. Super Sonic stopped himself and looks down. "Not good! That beam is too powerful for me to even get close to! Grr! Come on, Steven! You can do it!" Super Sonic says.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it puts more power into the blast and this caused the blast to be three times bigger than before

Back with Wrathful Steven 1, he grunted in shock as he was pushed back. Suddenly, it was too much for Wrathful Steven 1 as he began to get pushed away with a yell. Wrathful Steven 1 yells before reverting back to normal. Steven then crashed at a nearby platform.

Back on the ground, the powerful beam was getting closer to the ground and this caused the entire setting to get dark. This also caused the breeze to get stronger.

Back at the open field where Mr. Stewart and the children were, they saw how the setting was turning out as they felt the breeze. "Oh no!" Helen says while the rest of the children yell in fright.

Back with Steven, he quickly gets up and saw the powerful energy beam was getting closer. Steven grunts and stands up before making a jump. Steven lands on top of another destroyed building and brings his hands out. The powerful energy beam got in contact with Steven and he tries to push it back again, but was struggling and grunting. Everywhere around Steven was beginning to shake and get blown away.

Back on the ground, everyone was looking shocked and scared.

Back with Steven, he was beginning to get tired while shaking and grunting. "Come on!" Steven says before he closed his eyes as he thought this was it. "Come on, body! I know I said I didn't want to use my monstrous form, but I regret saying that now! Please, body! Give me more power to finally stop Chaos! PLEASE!" Steven says in his head. Suddenly, Steven gasped and this caused him to open his eyes widely.

Through Steven's eyes, he sees everyone. His enemies, his rivals, his friends, his best friends and even Tikal. "STEVEN!" Everyone says off screen.

In a black background, Steven was seen floating until suddenly, green fire began to light up as if a cooking stove was getting turned on. After a few seconds, the green fire was fully ignited and it surrounds Steven. This caused a bright light to form around Steven and Steven stands up. Steven opens his eyes and they were now yellow. Steven then lets out a loud roar and this caused him to turn back into his Ikari state and this time at full power. Wrathful Steven continued yelling with a green fiery background around him.

Back to reality, Wrathful Steven began to push his way through the powerful beam.

Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared as it saw Wrathful Steven flying through the powerful beam.

Back with Wrathful Steven, he continued pushing forward while grunting before he began to form a green energy ball from his right hand. Once Wrathful Steven was close to Perfect Chaos' face, he flies out from the powerful beam and his hand that had the green energy ball clenched into a fist, making Wrathful Steven's right hand glow green. This caused Perfect Chaos to look up and see Wrathful Steven positioning his green glowing fist. Then suddenly, a slow motion plays and it shows Wrathful Steven about to bring his glowing green fist forward. Once Wrathful Steven brought his glowing green fist forward, this caused the clip to replay normal before it slow motions again. The slow motions plays of Wrathful Steven's green glowing fist charging at Perfect Chaos' brain with Perfect Chaos watching. "CHAOS, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO OPEN YOUR HEART!" Steven says off screen. Then suddenly, the clip goes back to normal and it shows Wrathful Steven punching Perfect Chaos' brain with a powerful punch. Once the powerful punch happened, Perfect Chaos roared in pain as its brain was now shattered from its head. Wrathful Steven was then seen falling down towards the ground. Suddenly, Perfect Chaos began to shake uncontrollably, glow and shoot light from all over its body. After one last roar of pain, Perfect Chaos looks upwards before a bright light flashes and this caused Perfect Chaos to explode and incinerate.

Back on the rooftops, the crowd cheers from every building as there was a golden light shining.

Back on the ground, Super Sonic lands before power down back to normal. Sonic looks up at the crowd while Chris, Tails, Amy, Chuck, Ella, Mr. Tanaka, Big and Cream smile while Knuckles, Cheese and E-77 Lucky watched. Suddenly, Chaos' liquid lands on the ground before it began to take shape. As it took shape, the sky was slightly turning orange and Chaos was now seen back to Chaos 0. Knuckles than steps forward. "It wasn't destroyed!" Knuckles says before Cheese flies up to him. "It survived!" Knuckles says, "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" Cheese says before Knuckles turns to them. Suddenly, a bunch of wild Chao fly out of the ocean. "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" the wild Chao said at the same time before running and flying towards Chaos 0. Chaos 0 turns to the left as the wild Chao surround it. Chaos 0 then looks at a wild Chao that was close to its face before showing happy eyes. "But it doesn't look angry anymore. If that's true, then Chaos has changed. This time for the better" Knuckles says, "Yeah. If you ask me, Chaos actually looks kind of nice thanks to Super Sonic and Steven neutralizing it" Tails says before Cream steps forward a bit. "Wow, look at all those Chao!" Cream says, "Wonder where they came from" Chris says, "It looks to me like those Chao are friends of Chaos who came here to see him from Tanaka's hometown, I think" Amy says. Tikal then stepped up to Chaos 0 while smiling. "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" the wild Chao said at the same time. Tikal's eyes then shined. "These are the Chao you kept protecting" Tikal says, "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" the wild Chao said at the same time towards Chaos 0. Chaos 0 then turns to the right before looking forward again.

A flashback plays of Chris and Danny playing with the Chaos' at the Chao Colony back in Japan months ago. "They stayed alive for generations and are now living in this..." Tikal says off screen before it shows a wild Chao pulling Tails' whiskers. "...Peaceful world" Tikal says off screen before it shows Cream looking at the wild Chaos' around her. "The Chao will live here in peace with these humans" Tikal says off screen before it shows a wild Chao swimming in the lake and another wild Chao sniffing a flower. "And with the fight over, harmony's restored, life continues on and you can be at peace too" Tikal says off screen before it shows Steven petting a lot of the wild Chao and the wild Chao form hearts above their heads.

Back to reality, Chaos 0 saw all of this in its head before its eyes looked calm. "Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao! Chao!" the wild Chao said at the same time off screen. Tikal then turns to everyone behind her before clasping her hands. "Thank you so much!" Tikal says and everyone smiled. Tikal then suddenly realized something. "Huh? Hold on" Tikal says before she looks around. "Where's Steven?" Tikal asked. This caused everyone else to also look around in confusion. "Huh? Oh that's right. Where is he?" Sonic asked, "Did he get pushed away from the explosion?" Chris asked, "I hope not" Chuck says, "You don't think he get caught in the explosion, did he?" Amy asked, "Oh no!" Cream says, Cheese chirps and E-77 Lucky beeps. "Steven, where are you!?" Tails asked, "Steven!" Knuckles says, "Steven, can you hear us!?" Chris asked, "Steven, are you out there!?" Chuck asked, "Yahoo! Steven!" Big says, "Where could he be?" Ella asked, "He has to be around somewhere!" Mr. Tanaka says. As everyone else was looking around, Chaos 0 was looking at something upwards. This caused the wild Chao to chirp in alert. Tikal then turns to Chaos 0. "What is it, Chaos? What do you see?" Tikal asked before everyone else looks at it. Chaos 0 then points upwards and this caused everyone to look up to where Chaos 0 was pointing. Everyone looks up to see a battle damaged, cloth torn, wet and dusty Steven panting while stepping forward from on top of a destroyed building. "Steven, there you are!" Sonic says. Steven looks down to see everyone looking at him for a few seconds before chuckling a bit. "Heh... Good... Everything's finally calmed down... For good this time..." Steven says before he closes his eyes and passes out. This caused Steven to fall down from the destroyed building and make everyone to gasped. "Steven!" Sonic says as he was about to jump, but something else happened instead. Everyone looks to see Chaos 0 jump away from everyone and flies towards Steven. Chaos 0 catches Steven before hovering down. Once Steven and Chaos 0 land on the ground, Chaos 0 gently lays Steven down on the ground before walking back towards Tikal and the wild Chao. "Steven!" Sonic, Chris, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Cream said at the same time before they and everyone else surround Steven. Sonic and Knuckles began to help Steven lean against a pavement stone while sitting. Steven coughs a bit before opening his eyes to see Sonic, Knuckles and everyone behind them look at him. "Don't worry... I'll be fine... Did... Did we win..." Steven asked, "Yes, Steven. We did. We saved Station Square and the World" Sonic says, "We're really glad to see you're okay" Chris says, "Good... Is... Everyone else... Okay?" Steven asked, "Yes. No one was injured or killed during the battle. You saved us all" Knuckles says, "Yeah! You managed use your fury form to stop Chaos for good! I knew you could do it, Steven" Tails says, "Heh. Thanks, Tails..." Steven says, "Oh Steven, you're hurt" Amy says as she looked at Steven's current state. "Don't worry, Amy. Like I said, I'll be fine..." Steven says, "Please don't do anything rash like that ever again, Steven" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "I can't promise I won't, but I'll try, Cream..." Steven says before chattering was heard off screen. Everyone turns around to see G.U.N, police officers, fire fighters and paramedics escorting the civilians away from the rooftops and into the respected vehicles. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were seen inside a destroyed Egg Mobile before flying away. Chris, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese then notice Tikal, Chaos 0 and the wild Chao going towards Sonic, Steven and Knuckles before giving space. Steven then looks at Tikal. "Tikal..." Steven says, "Steven, thank you for everything. You've saved Chaos and our World" Tikal says while she had her hands clasped. Steven then looks at Chaos 0. "Chaos... It's no longer evil anymore...?" Steven asked, "That's right. After that last attacked, Chaos has been emotionally healed and is now at peace once again" Tikal says. Chaos 0 then makes it's way towards Steven while Sonic and Knuckles got in position if anything. "It's okay, guys. Let's see what it wants" Steven says while lifting his arms up. Sonic and Knuckles helped Steven up and Chaos 0 stopped in front of them. Chaos 0 kneels down and brings its hand out towards Steven. Sonic, Steven and Knuckles saw this in surprise. "What's Chaos doing?" Sonic asked, "It seems that Chaos sensed the energy from the one that stopped the great calamity. This is Chaos' way of asking Steven for forgiveness for everything it's done" Tikal says, "Forgiveness?" Knuckles asked, "Oh. I see..." Sonic says, "Alright then" Steven says. Steven slowly reaches his hand out and rubs Chaos 0's hand. And with that action made, the war between Planet Earth and Chaos was officially over on positive terms. Sonic and Knuckles were a bit surprised. "You forgive it all ready?" Knuckles asked, "Of course. Chaos didn't mean to rampage like this. It was just too clouded with anger and hate from not only what happened back then, but for being isolated for so long. But thanks to us, its heart has finally opened for the better now" Steven says, "Then that means we really did it this time" Sonic says, "Right" Steven says, "We may have saved the day, but Angel Island is still sitting in the ocean" Knuckles says, "Oh! That's right! How are we gonna get it to float again?" Steven asked, "Do not worry" Tikal says before Sonic, Steven and Knuckles turn to her and Chaos 0. "There's a way we can fix that" Tikal says, "Really? How?" Sonic asked, "Me, Chaos and all the Chao will need to return back in the Master Emerald where we belong and when we do, Angel Island will float again" Tikal says, "Really... All these Chao came from the Master Emerald...?" Steven asked, "Yes. The Chao sensed Chaos was in danger and had a mission to do. Have any of you noticed them on your adventures?" Tikal asked, "No. Sorry, Tikal. We didn't. We were too focused on everything else" Sonic says, "It's okay. Now then, we must head to Angel Island quickly" Tikal says, "Sure, but..." Knuckles says while looking at all the wild Chao behind Tikal and Chaos 0. "...We'll have to make a few trips" Knuckles says, "Don't worry. We'll just need another set of hands for help for the job" Sonic says before he turns to Cream and Cheese. "Cream, Cheese, you two wanna come with us? I'm sure you're interested to know about Cheese's origins, Cream" Sonic says, "Sure! I'd like that, Sonic! What do you think, Cheese?" Cream asked and Cheese chirps. "Okay, then it's settled!" Sonic says before giving a thumbs up. Steven then looked a bit sad and no one noticed.

From underneath that platform everyone was on. Big was seen fishing at the ocean with his eyes closed. "I'm not getting a bite" Big says.

At the Master Emerald Alter of Angel Island, Sonic, Knuckles, Tikal, Steven, E-77 Lucky and Cream were watching Cheese and all the wild Chao run around the Master Emerald with Chaos 0 sitting on top of it. The children are extremely grateful that you saved their protector" Tikal says off screen. "Who would have thought that Cheese was a child to a parental God?" Sonic asked off screen. "Not me. I don't know how I wasn't informed by all this" Knuckles says off screen. "Well however it was written down, I'm sure it's somehow" Tikal says off screen. "Yeah. Hmm... Tikal, is Chaos a Chao too?" Steven asked off screen. "Yes, Steven. Chaos is a Chao. It used to be a normal Chao, but Chaos was mutated by the power of the Master Emerald. So what you're all looking at is a Chao after it's gained power from a powerful energy source" Tikal says off screen. "Wow, that's amazing" Cream says off screen, "I was right. The Chao do have the potential of gaining power" Steven says off screen, "Maybe Cheese and the other Chao could grow stronger too" Sonic says off screen. "Yes, I see a bright future for all the Chao around the world and I hope it will stay that way for eternity. Now it is time for us to return back to where we belong" Tikal says before she goes next to Chaos 0. The wild Chao then fly around them while Cheese lands on the ground. Tikal then looks down at Cheese. "Cheese, you are welcome to come with us if you'd like" Tikal says while Cream looked nervous. "Oh no. What if Cheese decides to go with them instead" Cream asked, "Don't worry. I think we all know Cheese's decision on this" Sonic says. Cheese looked at Tikal, Chaos 0 and the wild Chao in front and looked at Sonic, Knuckles, Steven and Cream at the back. Cheese looks at Tikal before chirping. "Ah. I see. Alright then, Cheese. I gladly accept your decision" Tikal says. Cheese flies up before flying towards Cream. Cream gets happy before she and Cheese hug with Sonic, Knuckles and Steven smiling. "Oh Cheese!" Cream says and Cheese chirps. "Now that that's taken care of, let's get Angel Island floating again" Knuckles says, "Right. Do it, Tikal" Sonic says, "Okay" Tikal says, "Hold on" Steven says before everyone looks at him. "Before we do this, I just want to say something first..." Steven says before he steps forward a bit. "Tikal, I just want to say thank you... For all your help on guiding us during this crisis... I... I know we... We didn't fully get to... Know you, but..." Steven says before he began to sniff a bit. "Steven...?" Sonic asked, "Are you okay, Steven?" Cream asked before Cheese chirped and E-77 Lucky beeped while Knuckles listened. Steven then rubs his nose "...I'm fine, guys... Just a bit tired... Anyway um... Tikal... I'm... I'm really glad... We got to meet you..." Steven says as his eyes were showing signs of tears. "Steven, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Tikal asked, "Tikal... I... I..." Steven says before he drops on his knees and uses his hands to hold himself. Tear drops then dropped on the ground while Steven was whimpering and crying a bit while being close to the ground. Tikal and the wild Chao looked at Steven a bit surprised. "Steven..." Tikal says, "Steven, what's the matter?" Cream asked and E-77 Lucky beeped. "I think I know what it is" Knuckles asked and everyone except Steven looks at him. "Steven knew that if we defeated Chaos, then Chaos would be the sent back to the Master Emerald along with the Chao and Tikal. And as you can see, he's not taking it lightly like the rest of us" Knuckles says off screen "Can't say I blame him really though" Sonic says, "But why is that?" Cream asked off screen, "Because Steven doesn't want me to leave. Steven's gotten to know so much about me and this shows how much he cares. I was afraid something like this could happen, but I have no choice but to go with it" Tikal says, "It's okay, Tikal. We understand. It's Steven that needs to fully understand and we believe you're the best person that'll make him" Sonic says, "Of course" Tikal says before she walks towards Steven who was still in the same position while crying. Tikal gives a sad smile before bending on her knee. "Steven" Tikal says before Steven looks at her a bit. Suddenly, Steven sits up a bit and hugs Tikal. This caused Tikal to be surprised before she slowly hugs back with her eyes closed. "Steven, it's okay" Tikal says while Steven sniffs a bit. Steven and Tikal break the hug before Tikal puts a hand on his shoulder. "Steven, a champion like yourself doesn't belong on your knees" Tikal says before she moves her face forward a bit. "You achieved a great victory for the both of us" Tikal says, "I... I was focusing so hard on saving everyone that... That I didn't realize... What winning this war would actually mean... By defeating Chaos, I sent you and everyone else away... For good..." Steven says while wiping his eyes while whimpering. "No, Steven. You have opened the door for me. Thanks to you, mine and Chaos' heart can finally be at rest once again. We'll be back where we belong. Faith brought the two of us together for a reason and we fulfilled the destiny, Steven" Tikal says before Steven looks at her with gasped. Tikal then puts both her hands on Steven's shoulders. "You protected man-kind from many threats our World has ever encountered..." Tikal says before she and Steven stand up. "...And you grown tremendously strong along the way, Steven" Tikal says, "I'm... I'm gonna miss you, Tikal" Steven says, "Steven, we will never be apart" Tikal says before Steven gasped a bit again. "The gift of kindness and support you've given me and the friendship I've given you will remain with us and that will forever bind us together. I'll always watch over you in spirit if you ever need someone to talk to. And even if you don't get the chance, don't forget" Tikal says before she faces towards Sonic, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky a bit. "You got a home, a bunch of friends, new friends and a wonderful life here. You're going in the right direction of not giving up and moving forward" Tikal says before she looks back at Steven. "And you and me will always be friends until the very end. Never forget that. Do you promise?" Tikal asked Steven wipes his eyes a bit again before looking at the ground a bit. After a few seconds, Steven looks back at Tikal. "...Okay, Tikal. I promise" Steven says, "Thank you, Steven" Tikal says before she steps away from Steven and Steven slowly moves back to Sonic, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky. Tikal then walks back towards Chaos 0 and the Wild Chao. "Tikal, wait" Sonic says off screen before Tikal stops. "Listen, we know if leaving Earth means it's all for the best here, but I'll admit, Steven's right. We were all just getting you. Even you was beginning to know all of us. I know you want us to be happy that we saved the world, but at the same time it's not that easy to say goodbye to someone that's been a big help to us all even if we got to know little about" Sonic says while Tikal had her eyes closed. "Sonic's right. Sometimes things are not easy to take in. Like me. I've went through almost my whole life without knowing anything about my own Clan. But I know that true friends may be hard to leave, but they're impossible to forget. And even though your stay wasn't as long as we'd like, we're lucky we got to know you anyway, Tikal" Knuckles says, "Thank you... Goodbye, everyone..." Tikal says in her head. Tikal then opens her eyes. "Time to go, everyone" Tikal says before she, Chaos 0 and the wild Chao held hands while having their eyes closed. "The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos... Feel within... The sea of Chaos. The young waters... May the light that controls power shine down for eternity and protect us" Tikal says in her head before the Master Emerald began to glow with a bright light surrounding the area. Sonic, Steven, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky grunted a bit while shielding themselves. After a few seconds, the Master Emerald stopped glowing as it revealed Tikal, Chaos 0 and the wild Chao were now sealed back in the Master Emerald and were now after over 3000 years at peace once again. Sonic, Steven, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky unshielded themselves before they realized Tikal, Chaos 0 and the wild Chao were now gone. Suddenly, Angel Island shakes with Sonic, Steven, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky holding on.

Outside of Angel Island, Angel Island began to rise itself out of the ocean before it was fully out with waterfalls falling from the bottom. After a few seconds, Angel Island was now seen fully floating for good.

Back on Angel Island, Sonic, Cream and Cheese were seen getting in the X-Tornado while Steven was talking to Knuckles. "So I guess that's that huh?" Steven asked, "Seems that way. Angel Island is floating for good and everything should go back to normal now" Knuckles says, "Yeah... Listen, Knuckles. I'm sorry for snapping at you back in Mystic Ruins. I guess I was acting just like Chaos back there" Steven says, "It's okay, Steven. Like I said, don't think about it too much. And if we'd learned anything today, we'd have to accept the reasoning why these moments have to happen. Besides it wouldn't do any good for us. We still have our own lives to live through until the end. You understand right, Steven?" Knuckles asked. Steven takes a deep breath before smiling at Knuckles. "You're right, Knuckles. Thanks" Steven says, "Anytime" Knuckles says as he patted Steven's shoulder. "Steven, you ready to go?" Sonic asked off screen before Steven and Knuckles look to see the X-Tornado's engine starting up. "You'd better get going" Knuckles says, "Yeah. This has been the craziest 3 days of my life. Now this would be a good time for me to really rest up because we got a city to repair a lot of people to save. And I won't led up until I know everything is okay" Steven says before Knuckles laughs a bit, "You sure are one heroic hedgehog, Steven" Knuckles says before Steven turns his head to him. "Yeah. Yes I am" Steven says while smiling and chuckling. After a few minutes, the X-Tornado was seen flying off of Angel Island with Knuckles watching from the ground.

On the X-Tornado, Steven was seen looking forward before he looks towards Angel Island from afar. "Goodbye Tikal..." Steven says before he looks forward again with the X-Tornado leaving Mystic Ruins.

In the skies, a twinkle appeared a bit before disappearing as this now finally concludes the entirety of Steven the Hedgehog's story in the Chaos/Sonic Adventure Saga.

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! After our big victorious battle with Chaos, everything has finally calmed down. Me and Sonic decided to help the citizens rebuilt Station Square and rescue those who haven't evacuated on time. Meanwhile, all our friends including those who I sometimes associate with will be going in separate ways until everything has been fully rebuilt. Meanwhile with Dr. Eggman, he's been laying low after the final battle, but something caught his interest that has something to do with G.U.N. After hacking into their system, Eggman managed to get a hold of classified information on what would seem to be in relation with his grandfather: Gerald Robotnik. It would seem that Gerald has been developing a Top-Secret Military Weapon titled "Project: Shadow" and was kept it hidden over 50 years ago on an island called "Prison Island". Whatever it's all about, Eggman's interest has spiked and decided to take another chance to strike back! Whatever this Project: Shadow is all about, I can't make the same mistake and let it destroy the world like before! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog!
