Author's Note: Hey, guys. Fflyboyray here. I understand you're all wondering what took so long for this Chapter/Episode so long to be posted. Well as I said from the previous Reviews. I have a lot of stuff going on in real life and I sometimes don't have the time to write/type a Chapter like I used to. Besides as I said, these Chapters are gonna be a lot longer than from Season 1 because with my OC/Buddy insert, I try to come up with new ideas on how it plays out and that takes a lot of time and effort for me to manage on my own. Now like I said, I don't have a schedule for these Chapters to be posted by. They're sometimes posted daily due to me typing/writing the next Chapter in advance. But normally if I'm late on schedule, I post the Chapter when I'm finished with it. I hope everyone understands my situation and respects it. Please bare with me. Thank you.

Steven the Hedgehog - I have! I used to call Sonic the "Blue Devil" before all this happened. Now I mostly call him my friend, partner, buddy and pal.
Sonic45: I love to see Sonic and Knuckles playfully Dog pile on Steven.
fflyboyray - That would be funny, but I doubt that will happen unless something triggers them to do it.
Martin: Is there any chance that Steven might meet a girl Echidna that resembles Tikal?
fflyboyray - Well as I said before, we haven't gone too far with Steven's encounters with other characters so we'll have to wait and see.
Another Fan: Looks like Steven won the battle and is sad to see Tikal go. Come on Eggman surely you got something plan to at least defeat Those two hedgehogs in battle.
fflyboyray - Yes, Steven may have won the battle, but he to pay the price and let Tikal go. I'm sure we already know what Dr. Eggman's gonna plan now.
Pika2: You think doing the next chapter when they done cleaning and rescue people for today, Sonic ask Steven if he can spend the night with him and lucky? Much to Steven surprise.
fflyboyray - That could happen, but as you already know, a new Adventure is slowly awaiting.
Martin: Does this mean that Tikal will sometimes appear to Steven as a spirit?
fflyboyray - Almost. Tikal was just saying it in a way like how a dead person watches over them in spirit generally, but in her case. She can since she, Chaos and the wild Chao are inside the Master Emerald in an alternate past. So technically yes, she would watch over him in spirit
dbehi1: Eggman! This is all your fault! You're a selfish little jerk who does not care for the well-being of others! When will you ever learn that your actions have consequences? You do know that by releasing Perfect Chaos you put Station Square in ruins and could have gotten everybody killed! You are a complete idiot! And you'll always have those 3 stupid little robot crapheads with you, you should just throw them away in the trash, they don't serve any purpose, they just suck! Eggman, you should really be punished hard for this! I wonder how Gamma and his brothers would think once they heard of what you did, and it's your own fault Gamma and his brothers died, you used them as sacrificial lambs, Station Square is in ruins, and you got nobody to blame but yourself, stupid little reckless ego-driven careless dumbass little baldman, no better than that Mad Gear Gang or even M Bison's Shadaloo, that Gill delty and his Illuminati, or even those stupid Skull Cross Gang members. (to Sonic & Steven and their friends, Metro City was a place filled with crime from Mad Gear until Mayor Mike Hagger, Cody Travers, & Guy took down the Mad Gear Gang and their leader to rescue Cody's girlfriend Jessica, M Bison & Gill are the crime boss heads who hold fighting tournaments where people around the globe fight each other before fighting M Bison or Gill themselves, currently, M Bison and Shadaloo are no more because a brave group of fighters, among those Ryu & his best friend Ken Masters, among many others such as Chun Li, Cammy White, Guile, and many other Street Fighters took down M Bison and his crime syndicate for good, but Guile's best friend Charlie Nash gave his life to ensure Bison would be dead, Ryu's the same guy who fought the king of Muay Thai Sagat and defeated him by timing a Soryuken at his chest scarring him, The other Street Fighters I mentioned also have backstories, but I suggest you do some research on them"

Martin: I like this episode. I see that you used a reference from Shrek. Also, it's a sad that Steven had to say goodbye to Tikal. And it also looks like he's not getting his own chao. But as the saying goes, there's still plenty of fish in the sea.
fflyboyray - Thanks and thumbs up for noticing the reference. Yes, it was sad for Steven to say goodbye to Tikal, but sometimes we have to move on for what's best for everyone including themselves. Besides, Steven was mostly taking a like for Tikal as one of his best friends, but he doesn't realize on how he really felt. Now I wouldn't say he won't ever get his own Chao, he'll probably think into it it when the time comes.

Sonic Adventure 2: Steven the Hedgehog
A flashback shows the upper highway of Station Square beggining to break down due to the pressure of a wave of water.
At another apart of Station Square, a big wave of water shoots out from a building, causing glass windows to shatter. More buildings began to shoot out water and the streets began to flood.
With Sam, he was pointing at a building for people to run into while people followed his arrow. "You'll be safe here! Hurry!" Sam says.
With Steven, he was seen landing on a platform that was close to Perfect Chaos with Super Sonic floating above him. Steven then looks up at Perfect Chaos. "Hey, Chaos!" Steven says before Perfect Chaos looks down at him. "We're gonna rock you like a hurricane!" Steven says. Perfect Chaos growls before letting out a roar close to Steven. This caused Perfect Chaos' breath to hit Steven and for Steven to shield himself. Perfect Chaos stops and Steven unshielded himself. "Oh snap!" Steven says.
Back with Perfect Chaos, Perfect Chaos began shooting out purplish energy blast towards Steven.
Back with Steven, he saw the purplish energy blast coming in his direction. "Whoa oh!" Steven says before jumping off the platform.
With Super Sonic, he charged while having his fist forward. Super Sonic began destroying some of the purplish energy blast and this caused some of the purplish energy blast to explode around him.
Back with Perfect Chaos, it creates a shield before Super Sonic charged right through it. This caused the shield to shatter, for Perfect Chaos to looks its balance and waves to crash around the area.
Back with Steven, the impact of the waves caused him to drop down on the ground while grunting. Steven looks towards Perfect Chaos before shielding himself from the water and debris. Steven unshielded himself before getting back up while panting.
Back with Perfect Chaos, it roars before creating long water needles from the ocean. Perfect Chaos roared again as lightning was striking around it. Perfect Chaos was then seen glowing before the glow dies out. Perfect Chaos then opens its mouth and a powerful atomic ball was created. The atomic ball then turns into a beam and Perfect Chaos fires it towards the ground.
Back with Steven who was now seen as Wrathful Steven, he began to push his way through the powerful beam in the air.
Back with Perfect Chaos, it roared as it saw Wrathful Steven flying through the powerful beam.
Back with Wrathful Steven, he continued pushing forward while grunting before he began to form a green energy ball from his right hand. Once Wrathful Steven was close to Perfect Chaos' face, he flies out from the powerful beam and his hand that had the green energy ball clenched into a fist, making Wrathful Steven's right hand glow green. This caused Perfect Chaos to look up and see Wrathful Steven positioning his green glowing fist. Then suddenly, a slow motion plays and it shows Wrathful Steven about to bring his glowing green fist forward. Once Wrathful Steven brought his glowing green fist forward, this caused the clip to replay normal before it slow motions again. The slow motions plays of Wrathful Steven's green glowing fist charging at Perfect Chaos' brain with Perfect Chaos watching. "CHAOS, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO OPEN YOUR HEART!" Steven says off screen. Then suddenly, the clip goes back to normal and it shows Wrathful Steven punching Perfect Chaos' brain with a powerful punch. Once the powerful punch happened, Perfect Chaos roared in pain as its brain was now shattered from its head. Wrathful Steven was then seen falling down towards the ground. Suddenly, Perfect Chaos began to shake uncontrollably, glow and shoot light from all over its body. After one last roar of pain, Perfect Chaos looks upwards before a bright light flashes and this caused Perfect Chaos to explode and incinerate.
Back on the rooftops, the crowd cheers from every building as there was a golden light shining.
The Mystery of Project Shadow (Project: Shadow)
In the destroyed Station Square, Sonic's blur was seen running on the streets.
On top of a destroyed building, Sonic runs up to it before looking at the overview of the destroyed Station Square along with two rescue choppers that were seen flying around. After a few seconds, Sonic jumps off the building.
On the ground, construction workers were digging up the debris from the buildings, three men were trying to flip a red car back up with grunts. "Altogether now!" the three men said at the same time. "Okay" a construction worker says as some of them were holding furniture and digging more debris while Sonic sped past them and looked around. Sonic grunts a bit before a child's cry was heard off screen. "Huh?" Sonic asked before he stops. "Hey!" Sonic says before looking around. "Huh? Huh!" Sonic says as the crying continues. Sonic then noticed a destroyed front entrance and thought the crying was coming from there. "In there!" Sonic says before he goes.
At another part of Station Square, Steven was seen helping some civilians that were injured sit on the sidewalks. Steven then points to them while counting. "... 14... 15... 16...17... 18... 19... 20... Okay" Steven says before he takes out a satellite radio and pressed the call button. "This is Steven the Hedgehog, I got another group of 20 that are okay, but still injured and are now resting on the sidewalks in Downtown Station Square. Send as many paramedic vehicles if you can. Over...? Okay, thank you so much. I'll be taking my leave from here. Over" Steven says before he puts away the radio and looks at everyone. "Okay, everyone. Get plenty of rest and stay safe. Paramedics will be with you shortly" Steven says before he runs off.
At the Thorndyke Mansion, it got in pretty bad shape as Lindsey and Ella were washing the furniture and some workers moving boxes and furniture to a truck. "Hey! Toss this!" a worker says, "Okay, that's good. Right here" another worker says as they put the box in the back of the truck. Lindsey looks behind her to see some two men carrying a dresser with a mirror. "Oh, dear! All my lovely furniture ruined" Lindsey says.
At Chris's Elementary School in the school yard, a cargo bob lands on the ground with Chris, Danny, Frances, Mr. Stewart and the other children watching as the strong breeze from the propellers hit them. Mr. Stewart then turns to the children. "Okay, class! Ready to carry the rescue supplies to the cafeteria?" Mr. Stewart asked, "Yeah!" the children said at the same time before the cargo-bob door opens to reveal Nelson in a construction helmet. "Chris!" Nelson says before Chris, Danny, Frances and another girl get close. "Dad! What are you doing here?" Chris asked, "I thought I'd drop in and see how you were doing" Nelson says, "I'm fine!" Chris says, "Anyway, I got some food here" Nelson says.
Inside Chris' Elementary School, the children were bringing boxes in as there were some adults that were homeless now. "At least we survived" a man says off screen, "I can't believe it's all gone now" another man says off screen before Chris and Danny put a box on the floor while grunting. "These boxes are heavy!" Frances says before another box on top of the one Chris and Danny put down. Frances then wipes her head while sighing. "I need to take a break!" Frances says before Danny shrugs his shoulders while having his eyes closed. This caused Frances to get mad while putting her hands on her hips. "That's okay. Why don't you go play and let me and Chris finish the unloading?" Danny asked, "I can lift as much as you!" Frances says, "Our son is lost!" a man says off screen and this got Chris, Danny and Frances' attention. "Huh?" Chris, Danny and Frances asked at the same time. It revealed that a couple was talking to a security guard. "Did the search parties find a little boy?" the woman asked, "Er, no, ma'am" the security guard says while rubbing the back of his hat. This caused the woman to starts sobbing and for Chris, Danny and Frances to feel bad. Suddenly, Sonic's blur enters the room before he stops in front of the parents and the security guard while holding a child named Jim. This got the security guard and the couple's attention as they looked at Sonic and Jim with a gasp. "This your kid?" Sonic asked before Jim opens his eyes and looks happy. "Mommy!" Jim says while raising its arms up. "Jim! You're safe!" the woman says as she takes Jim from Sonic and hugs Jim. The man then goes up to Sonic. "Sonic..." the man says before Sonic looks at him. "...Thanks a lot!" the man says before Jim and the woman turn to Sonic. "You're wonderful!" the woman says before Sonic laughs while closing his eyes and rubbing the back of his head. Chris, Danny and Frances then chuckle at the scene.
Back with Steven, he was escorting more people out of buildings while helping a woman walk towards the paramedics. "Just take it easy. Keep pressure on the wound. You're gonna be okay now" Steven says before he brought the woman to the paramedics. "Thank you, Steven. We'll take it from here now" a paramedic says before he and the woman walk away. "No problem" Steven says while panting and looking around. "Alright. Looks like that's everyone in this area. Time to look somewhere else" Steven says before he runs off.
At the White House, the President talks off screen. "When I ran for this job, I thought I'd be tackling the world's problems head-on..." the President says off screen.
Inside the President's Office, the President was signing a paper. "Instead I'm the most powerful paperpusher in the world" The President says off screen before the paper was taken away. It revealed Christina was handing the President a few documented contracts while the President looked tired with his eyes closed. The President then opens his eyes a bit.
A flashback shows Super Sonic charging his fist forward and Wrathful Steven pushing through Perfect Chaos' atomic beam. "I wish, just once..." the President says off screen before it shows Wrathful Steven getting flown away with Perfect Chaos glowing gold and roaring in pain. "...I could do something..." the President says off screen before Perfect Chaos explodes. "...heroic. Like Sonic and Steven!" The President says off screen.
Back to reality, the President continues. "Next" the President says off screen as Christina hands out another paper to the President. "Here's the bill declaring Station Square to be caught in disaster areas" Christina says off screen before the President signs the paper. "Oh, well! I suppose somebody has to sign this stuff" The President says before Christina passes out another paper. "Here's the bill for the Government to pay the loans for the destroyed residential buildings" Christina says off screen before the President signs the paper. "After all, that's what a President like me does almost everyday" the President says before Christina passes out another paper. "And this is executive order 11378 for G.U.N" Christina says off screen. The President then had his eyes closed again. "You'll have to refresh my memory" The President says before he sighs. "A new series of robots..." Christina says before the President opens his eyes and looks at the paper. "...Will be built which are specially designed to combat..." Christina says before the President looks at her. "...Dr. Eggman" Christina says before the President signs the paper. "Er, good idea!" the President says off screen before the paper was taken away. "Am I done now?" The President asked while looking at Christina. "One last thing" Christina says off screen before showing the President another paper. "What's this?" the President asked, "A security clearance. We just hired your new driver for the mobile office and he starts today. He's called Sam Speed" Christina says off screen as the paper showed a profile picture of Sam on it. "Apparently he lives up to his name" Christina says off screen.
Back at the Thorndyke Mansion, Mr. Tanaka, Ella, Nelson, Chuck, Frances, Helen, Danny, Chris, Lindsey, Cream, Cheese, Tails and Amy were seen on the sidewalk as there was an VR attached behind Chuck's car on the street. Chris was seen hugging Lindsey. "I'll miss you, darling!" Lindsey says before Chris looks at her. "Me, too, Mom..." Chris says. Cream was seen having tears in her eyes while she and Cheese looked at Tails and Amy. "This is it! Goodbye!" Cream says before she closes her eyes and sobs. This caused Cheese to look sad while Amy and Tails look at each other with Tails shrugging his shoulders. Chuck then looks towards Cream, Cheese, Tails and Amy. "What's the big deal?" Chuck asked, "Yeah, I promise you'll..." Nelson says before Chuck looks at him. "...All be seeing each other again in a..." Nelson says before Chuck looks back at Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese. "...Month or two, just as soon as we have everything cleaned up at the house" Nelson says. Chris was then looking at Frances, Danny and Helen. "Don't forget to send me a postcard" Danny says, "Me, too, Chris! Okay!?" Frances says, "I will" Chris says, "I wish you could stay, Chris. Things won't be the same here without you or Mr. Stewart around'' Helen says. "Yeah" Chris says and sighs before looking up to the right a bit.
On a highway in the desert, Mr. Stewart was driving behind a truck. "Just when I was hitting it off with my class..." Mr. Stewart says as he continues driving through the desert.
Back with Chris, he looks forward a bit. "Aren't Sonic and Steven gonna come say goodbye?" Chris asks, "Sonic had to run and Steven is helping the officials in Station Square. But they did tell me to say that they'd "see ya later and wish you good luck", Chris" Amy says, "Oh" Chris says while having his eyes closed. Tails then walks up to Chris. "Don't you worry, Chris, when you're feeling lonely, just call us, and we'll all hop in..." Tails says before Chris looks at him. "...The X-Tornado and fly over to see ya" Tails says before he lifts a finger while having his eyes closed. "And Sonic and Steven can run there for a visit in no time at all!" Tails says before opening his eyes again. "I'll still miss you guys" Chris says, "Don't worry!" Amy says before she crosses her arms while having her eyes closed. "Two months isn't all that long and time passes a lot quicker when you first move to a new place" Amy says, "I guess so" Chris says. A few minutes later, the VR was then driving off with Amy, Tails, Helen, Danny, Frances, Lindsey and Nelson watching while waving. "Goodbye, Chris!" Everyone says.
At the RV, Chris was also waving. "Bye, guys! See ya!" Chris says.
Inside the RV, Ella was seen sitting while holding on to Cream and Cheese. Cream whimpers before closing her eyes.
Outside of Chuck's car, Mr. Tanaka takes a nap before Chuck looks at him a bit.
At Area 99, it was quiet.
Inside a lab of Area 99, a lot of scientists were working on the new robots that were associated with G.U.N. The robots that were seen in developed and almost completed are Rhino Cannon, Mono Hawk, Gun Hunter and Shield Hunter. "With these robots..." a scientist says while turning his head towards another scientist. "...We can defeat Dr. Eggman once and for all" the scientist says, "Yes..." the second scientist says before the first looks back towards the G.U.N robots. "...Our designs are technically superior to his in every way" the second scientist says as up on the ceiling was a robotic spider. The robotic spider then monitors the area
With Dr. Eggman, he was seen looking close at the readers. "That's an impossibility!" Dr. Eggman says before he moves back a bit as it revealed he, Decoe and Bocoe were seen inside a secret base that was known as Hidden Base. "If their robots were better, that would make them smarter than me" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe looks at him. "It does look like they made progress, Doctor" Decoe says before Bocoe looks at Dr. Eggman. "If it is true, we will be in big trouble!" Bocoe says as Dr. Eggman looks at him while having his fingers on a keyboard. "Then I'll find out!" Dr. Eggman says before he looks forward at the monitors. "All I have to do is hack into their main computer and I'll have..." Dr. Eggman says before he began typing. "...Instant access to all of their robot designs" Dr. Eggman says.
Back at Area 99 in the security room, a few security guards were distracted while one of the computers popped an icon of Dr. Eggman's symbol on the screen as it beeped. The icon disappears before it shows a PASSWORD log in.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw this. "I'll log in" Dr. Eggman says before he types again. Dr. Eggman ten presses the enter key.
On the computer, it shows the G.U.N library. "Great!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman saw this again. "We're in...!" Dr. Eggman says.
Back on the computer, it revealed pictures of the same G.U.N robots and a new one known as Gun Beetle. "How did they come up with all these designs..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before it shows a jet called the Blue Eagle. "...So quickly?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen before a labeled pops up that says "Prof. GERALD ROBOTNIK" on it.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman grunts as he saw this. "It can't be!" Dr. Eggman says before he tapes on the down arrowed key.
Back on the computer, the computer was scrolling down through on what looked like a digital Diary.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman sweat drops a bit. "Oh!" Decoe says as he and Bocoe look at each other while Dr. Eggman continued pressing the key off screen. Decoe and Bocoe then looks towards Dr. Eggman. "Dr. Eggman?" Decoe asked, "Is something wrong?" Bocoe asked before Dr. Eggman stopped pressing the key. There was also an old picture of an old scientist on the monitor. The old scientist was known as Professor Gerald Robotnik. "Unbelievable! This can only mean…" Dr. Eggman says before he turns his chair towards Decoe and Bocoe. "This world is the world that I was born in" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time as they backed up a bit. "This is..." Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back on the computer, it continued showing the picture of Professor Gerald Robotnik and the digital Diary that was scrolling fast. "...Professor Gerald Robotnik who was the greatest scientific genius of his time!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman continued. "He's my grandfather!" Dr. Eggman says, "Does that mean there is a connection between this world and the one we came from...?" Decoe asked, "But how could that be?" Bocoe asked, "The two worlds are in parallel dimensions and share the exact same position in time and space. Each is unaware of the other's existence. But thanks to Chaos Control, we travel between them. Let's see if there's any data about my grandfather..." Dr. Eggman says before he went back into typing.
Back on the computer, it showed the PASSWORD log in. "...That can clear up this mystery on why his name's on G.U.N's Database. Hmm. Another password?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman types in a random password. "Let's try "Eggman"" Dr. Eggman says.
Back on the computer, it showed an ERROR with a beep indicating the password was wrong.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman saw this. "Error?" Dr. Eggman asked before he types another password, but the computer showed another ERROR with a beep. "Robotnik?" Dr. Eggman asked as he types again, but it shows yet another two ERRORs again with beeps. Dr. Eggman then groans again before putting his hands on over his face. "No way! Come on!" Dr. Eggman says.
An image then reveals another old picture of Gerald Robotnik and a woman that were seen on what looked like a space station. "Maria!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back to reality, Dr. Eggman removes his hands from his face. "Yes!" Dr. Eggman says before he types in the password. "M-A-R-I-A!" Dr. Eggman says.
Back on the computer, the password was typed. "Come on!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before a sign that says "G.U.N: TOP SECRET" shows up on the screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman smiles. "You did it!" Decoe says.
Back at Area 99, an alarm blares indicating the system was hacked. "Huh?" a security guard asked while sitting on a computer before another security guard goes up to him. "It's a hacker! He used an unknown password to get into one of our databases. It holds a top secret file that nobody's looked at for years!" the security guard says, "What? Cut off his access!" the second security guard says.
Back on the computer, it shows an image of Dr. Eggman looking behind to see an angry security guard opening a door over the TOP SECRET sign. "They detected us!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Decoe was typing on another keyboard "Download proceeding!" Decoe says while Bocoe also typed on another keyboard. "Affirmative! Deleting original file from host computer!" Bocoe says.
Back on the computer, it shows the security guard chasing Dr. Eggman with a stick while both the files were downloading and deleting. "File deletion proceeding" Decoe says off screen.
Back in the secuirty room of area 99, the security were trying to take action on the computer. "Shut down the entire system and hurry!" the second security guard says before the third secuirty guard types. "I'll try!" the third secuirty guard says.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman was sweat dropping and grunting.
Back on the computer, the files were almost about to be downloaded and deleted. "Download complete in three seconds..." Bocoe says off screen before the file that was downloading was complete. "Done!" Bocoe says off screen before it shows Dr. Eggman cheering and for the security guard to fall down and hit his head with a star above him. "Original file deleted..." Decoe says off screen before it shows the file that was deleting finished and this caused the security on the screen to disappear. "...Now!" Decoe says off screen before the monitor shuts down.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman rubs his head in relief. "Whew! Hacking sure is hard work!" Dr. Eggman says before he types on the keyboard.
Back on the computer, it shows the computer scrolling down through the digital Diary. "Now, let's look at that file... What?" Dr. Eggman asked off screen.
Back in Hidden Base, Dr. Eggman gasped as he noticed something. "This is..." Dr. Eggman says.
Back on the computer, it shows a paragraph of the Diary and the word "Shadow" was seen in parenthesis in the paragraph. "...My grandfather's diary!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
A lightning strike was seen on screen.
A flashback shows Gerald typing on a computer inside on what looks like a prison with a bunch of writing everywhere on the walls. "I've done it! My greatest design is now complete! Back on the computer, it shows the word in parenthesis "SHADOW" before Dr. Eggman laughs off screen. "I'll awaken Shadow for you, Grandfather!" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back with Steven, he was walking around the destroyed sections of Station Square. Suddenly, a ring was heard before Steven takes his phone out. Steven answers the phone before putting it up to his ear. "Hello...? Hey, Mr. President. What's up...? Well I'm taking a break from helping the officials in Station Square right now. So what's going on...? Really...? What happened...? What was stolen...? A secret file...? How...? Right now I'm in Downtown Station Square... Alright... I'll wait right here. I'll see you in a bit, Mr. President" Steven says before he hangs up the phone. "Great. Just when we were done dealing with Chaos, more trouble had to happen at the exact moment everything calmed down" Steven says before he sits on a bench. "It's like trouble follows us everywhere we go. And the only man I know that's responsible for all of it is none other than Eggman" Steven says before he grunts a bit. "What are you up to now, Eggman?" Steven asked. After a few minutes, a black limousine parks in front of Steven. The Chauffeur gets out the car before it reveals to be Sam. "Hey, Steven!" Sam says, "Sam? What are you doing here?" Steven asked while walking towards the limousine. "I came to pick you up by the President's request" Sam says, "Request? Wait a minute. Are you the President's Chauffeur now?" Steven asked, "That's right! I just started today" Sam says before Steven chuckles a bit. "Wow really? I guess that means you decided to take a break from Speed Patrol and become the President's Wingman, huh?" Steven asked, "I guess you can say that, but just so you know" Sam says before he smirks a bit. "I'm not through with you or Sonic yet. Just wait. When the time comes, you're gonna need more than just your feet to win against me, Steven" Sam says before he goes up to the back door and opens it. "Just you wait" Sam says and Steven smirks a bit. "Yeah? We'll see about that..." Steven says before he walks towards the limousine and gets in. Sam closes the door and goes back to the drivers seat before driving off.
On a highway, the limousine was seen driving. "Project: Shadow?" Steven and Rouge asked at the same time off screen. "Yes. I need both of your help for this, Steven and Rouge" the President says off screen.
Inside the limousine, the President, the Director of Central Intelligence, Christina, Topaz, Rouge and Steven were seen inside sitting and talking. "Now, I don't know much about Project: Shadow other than the name. There was a file, but it was impossible for us to read the data" The President says, "And why is that?" Rouge asked, "It was password protected. Unfortunately, the file was created by the same scientists who developed Project: Shadow, and he never told anyone the password" The President says, "Hmm... Well don't we have any records that are related to Project: Shadow? We could check them and see if we can get more information about it" Steven says, "That would have been the best idea, Steven, but unfortunately it's no longer possible" the President says, "How come, Mr. President?" Steven asked,"Because all the records that were related to Project: Shadow were erased 50 years ago by the 13th President before me" The President says, "Oh... Maybe they didn't wanna take second chances and decided to play it safe" Steven says, "It would seem that way. They probably thought it would be best to erase everything so that nobody could access the file" the President says, "But nobody would have been able to access the file without the password anyway. And even they would have had a hard time figuring it out" Steven says, "But somebody did figure out the password and stole the file from the laboratory today, anyway" Rouge says, "And how lucky they are" Steven says in sarcasm before Christina looks at him and Rouge. "Not only..." Christina says before Steven and Rouge look at her. "...Did they download the file from our system, but when that was finished, they went ahead and deleted the original file from our computer" Christina says before Steven clenched his fist. "Then that Hacker is smarter than we think!" Steven says, "You got that right. That sounds just like something Eggman would do" Rouge says, "It was him!" The President says before closing his eyes and Rouge nodded while having her eyes closed. "That madman doesn't know when to call it quits!" Steven says, "So then what's our mission, sir? Do you want us to check out Project: Shadow for you?" Topaz asked, "No, we already have an agent assigned to that duty" the Director of Central Intelligence says, "I want you and Rouge to find out why Dr. Eggman is so interested in Project: Shadow, and what he's planning to do with it!" The President says, "Okay!" Rouge says as she raised her hand up a bit. "What do you want me to do, Mr. President?" Steven asked, "Steven, I want you to do some research and find some clues about Project: Shadow. Now since we don't have any records in the Office, we'll have to find the information from the books. See if you can find anything important and report it back to me as soon as possible. Can you do that?" the President asked, "No problem, Mr. President. I can do it. After all, I was able to find all the answers about Chaos, so I should be able to do the same for Project: Shadow. You can count on me, sir" Steven says, "Thank you, Steven" the President says. Christina then presses a call button while looking at the chauffeur. "Our first two passengers are leaving. You can stop the car here, Vanishing Commando" Christina says before the chauffeur turns his head to the back and it revealed it was Sam as the chauffeur. Sam winked and gave a thumbs up. "I know the President wouldn't want me to break the law, miss, so I'll wait till I can pull safely to the curb. And by the way, that was my name until yesterday. Today, I'm "Headlights of Goodbye Youth"" Sam says.
Back at Station Square, the limousine drives off with tires screeching while Rouge and Topaz were the sidewalk. Topaz then looks at Rouge. "All right, Rouge, where do we start?" Topaz asked before Rouge looks at her. "First we have to get Eggman to meet with us" Topaz says, "Fat chance! He isn't exactly a fan of ours" Topaz says before Rouge looks away while putting two fingers on her chin. "You're right. So we'll have to find some bait to lure him in, which means we'll need a Chaos Emerald for our pray" Rouge says and Topaz looks at her in surprised.
At Steven's Castle Mansion, Steven's White Limo truck was seen driving into the property. Steven gets out of the White Limo truck and locks it. Steven then walks towards his mail box. "What is it about this Project: Shadow?" Steven asked before he takes mail out of the mail box. "Why is it attracting Eggman's attention all of a sudden?" Steven asked before he opens the front door to his Castle Mansion.
In the Foyer of Steven's Castle Mansion, Steven enters before closing the front door and locking it behind him. "Whatever it is, it sounds pretty shady if you ask me" Steven says before he walks in the hallways. Steven was then greeted by E-77 Lucky who beeped at him. "Hey, Lucky. How was your day?" Steven asked before he pats E-77 Lucky's head and E-77 Lucky beeps happily. Steven the chuckles a bit. "Cool, I'm glad. Anyway, come on" Steven says before he walks in the hallways with E-77 Lucky following him. "We've got work to do" Steven says.
In the Study Room, Steven and E-77 Lucky enter with Steven putting his mail on the table. E-77 Lucky sits on a chair while Steven goes to a bookshelf and scans through them. After a few seconds, Steven found a book that was titled "Global Book: Military Facilities of Research". "Hmm... Let's take a look at this" Steven says before he takes the book off the shelf. Steven then sits next to E-77 Lucky at the table before opening the book. Steven scans through the pages before he spots a section about Area 99. "Hmm... Let's see here..." Steven says before he reads through the paragraphs. "Let's see if we can find a section that talks about G.U.N... Ah! Here we go! It says here that G.U.N is a worldwide military and law enforcement organization. And since they're known as worldwide, they must have secret bases across the globe. Now let's find a list and see what where we can find them..." Steven says before he flips through the pages. "Hmm... Area 99. Seen it... G.U.N Fortress. Seen it... Huh? What's this?" Steven asked before he and E-77 Lucky looked at a picture that shows an Island. "Prison Island? I've never heard of that place before nor have they mention it when I joined, but let's take a look" Steven says and E-77 Lucky beeps while Steven flips through the pages. "Here it is. G.U.N has another famous research facility located on an island in the South named "Prison Island". It's an island that has a large jungle island used as a prison and research base for G.U.N.. The island is famous for carrying the most wanted criminals in the world and has many facilities, a port for military vessels and an armory within the jungle section. The main base contains several prison sections and has six levels of security which were used to keep intruders or any unidentified scientists from accessing the classified room..." Steven says before he looks at E-77 Lucky. "What do think the classified room is about, Lucky?" Steven asked and E-77 Lucky beeped. Steven then flips through another page. "The prisons were divided by levels by rankings of prisoners from the lowest to the highest. The lowest ranked criminals stayed in the cells while the highest ranked criminals in the world were isolated in a maximum security cell surrounded by water with no way out... Yikes. If Sonic were a criminal, this would have been the cell meant for him" Steven says before E-77 Lucky beep rapidly. Steven then shakes his head. "You're right, Lucky. I shouldn't think anything bad about Sonic. I've known him for a long time and I know he wouldn't do anything evil. Still, something about Prison Island seems a bit off. Whatever that room is must be important if only a limited of specific people are allowed in there... Unless..." Steven says before he and E-77 Lucky looked at each other in suspicion. "No... That'd be a coincidence... But at the same time, it almost makes sense... Prison Island could be where... The Project: Shadow is..." Steven says before E-77 Lucky beeped nervously.

The next day at a rental home, Chris opened the curtains to reveal the new city
In the new city, the streets were packed with vehicles and people were walking around on the sidewalks.
Outside of the rental apartment, Chris sighs before leaving the window.
In the dining room table of the rental apartment, Ella was mixing salad in a bowl and Cream and Cheese were setting tea cups down the table. Chris then walks to his chair before Cream and Cheese notice him. "How are you, Chris!? Would you like to have some tea!?" Cream asked, "Chao, chao!" Cheese says before Chris sighs and sits on a chair. "No, thank you..." Chris says, "What's the matter?" Cream asked, "Nothing, I guess..." Chris says before Ella looks at him. "You'll get used to it here" Ella says, "Maybe" Chris says before closing his eyes. "Chao" Cheese says as they and Cream look at each other.
Outside of the apartment building, the Garage was seen on the rooftop. Chuck was also seen checking the satellite on top of the garage. "Hmm? Hmm" Chuck says as he looks to the right a bit and saw Chris sitting by the opened staircase door. "What's wrong, Chris? Homesick?" Chuck asked before Chris looks at him and sighs. "Sorta..." Chris says while having his eyes closed.
Inside Chuck's room of the garage, Chris and Chuck were talking with Chris sitting on Chuck's chair. "It always takes some time to get used to a new environment when you move. It was the same for me when I was young, but I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends here. Now you know how Sonic and the others felt. Think of it as an experience, Chris, when Chaos Control sent them to this world, they found themselves far from home, and they didn't know anybody around here. But did they sit around moping?" Chuck asked before Chris opens his eyes and gasped.
A flashback shows Sonic running through the destroyed Station Square, Tails was working on the X-Tornado in his Workshop, Amy was vacuuming the rugs in the living room of the Thorndyke Mansion, Knuckles was guarding the Master Emerald on Angel Island, Big and Froggy were fishing at a lake in Mystic Ruins, Cream and Cheese were helping Ella put dishes away in the cabinets in the kitchen in the Thorndyke Mansion and Steven was seen helping civilians and officials rebuild Station Square.
Back to reality, Chris smiled. "You're right! They didn't give up. And I won't either, Grandpa!" Chris says, "Attaboy!" Chuck says while giving a thumbs up and winked.
Back in the destroyed Station Square, Sonic's blur was seen zooming through. Then suddenly, a crying was heard off screen and this caused Sonic to stop running and exclaim while looking around. "What now?" Sonic asked as the crying continues off screen. "I'm scared!" the voice says off screen as Sonic noticed the crying was coming from a big pile of debris. "It's coming from there! Don't worry, I'll save ya!" Sonic says before he smashed into the debris and this caused the debris to fly all over the place with smoke. The dust eventually clears up a bit. "Kid, are you okay?" Sonic asked before it reveal Bokkun was the one that was crying. "Yeah, I'm not hurt" Bokkun says before the smoke fully clears. This made Bokkun open his eyes before he and Sonic exclaim at each other. "It's You!?" Sonic asked and Bokkun screams while shaking his arms before standing up with an angry face. "You rescued me, Sonic!" Bokkun says while Sonic had his eyes closed and sweat drops. "I'd have kept quiet if I'd known you were gonna help me!" Bokkun says before Sonic raised his hands forward. "I apologize" Sonic says before Bokkun looked a bit confused. "Huh?" Bokkun asked before Sonic was about to leave. "I'm gone!" Sonic says before Bokkun raises his hands forward. "O-Oh! Wait, don't go!" Bokkun says before Sonic looks at him again. "Why not?" Sonic asked before Bokkun puts his hands on his hips. "Because before you go, Sonic, I wanna tell you that I'm not gonna say thank you for saving me!" Bokkun says and this caused Sonic to sweat drop and scratch the back of his ear. "Oh!" Sonic says before Bokkun shakes his arms. "From now on, if you hear me crying for help, turn around and run the other way! 'Cause if you two ever try to rescue me again, you're gonna be sorry!" Bokkun says before Sonic raised his hands forward again and closed his eyes "Ah, we know what you're trying to say" Sonic says before he opens his eyes and was about to leave. "You're welcome!" Sonic says before he runs off. Bokkun then looks angry towards the direction Sonic ran to. "But you can't say I'm welcome, 'cause I didn't thank you, stupid!" Bokkun says. Suddenly, the sound of a lid opening was heard and this caused Bokkun to get nervous, back away a bit and look to the right. Bokkun saw Jerome was holding a liquor bottle from the Garbage can while Jerome looked at him. "Oh, umm..." Jerome says as he stutters and looks back at the liquor bottle. "If no one's going to use it..." Jerome says before Bokkun takes a step forward with an angry look. "Stupid!" Bokkun says and this caused Jerome to run away in panic. "I'm sorry!" Jerome says as he left the area. Steven was then seen walking through the area until Jerome suddenly ran past him, catching Steven's attention. "Huh? Did I miss someone around here?" Steven asked before he turns his head forward. "Huh?" Steven asked before he noticed Bokkun in the area. "Hey, that's Bokkun! Maybe he knows what Eggman's up to! Hey, Bokkun!" Steven says before he runs forward. Bokkun was then panting. "I swear the next person I see talks to me, there gonna hear it from me" Bokkun says before Steven appeared from behind him. "Who's gonna hear what from you exactly?" Steven asked and this caused Bokkun to look surprise before screaming. Bokkun then turns to Steven. "Steven! Wha... What are you doing here?" Bokkun asked, "I could ask you the same thing, Bokkun. What are you doing here?" Steven asked before Bokkun looks angry. "It's none of your business what I'm doing here so you can't make me talk!" Bokkun says before Steven puts his hands out. "Hey, relax. You don't need to tell me anyway because I already know that you probably got stuck around here after what Perfect Chaos did. Isn't that right?" Steven asked, "Uh.. Uh... So what!? So what if I got stuck! Why do you care anyway!?" Bokkun asked, "I'm just checking, Bokkun. Even if you do work for Eggman and can sometimes be a pain to me, that doesn't mean I can't check on anyone regardless if their good or bad" Steven says before Bokkun looked a bit surprised. "You don't?" Bokkun asked, "No. I would save anyone even if they are my enemy. It's all about doing the right thing even if someone else think the opposite. And checking on those who are my friend or enemy is my way of doing the right thing" Steven says off screen as Bokkun looked at the ground a bit. "Oh. I get it now. I'm sorry, Steven" Bokkun says before Steven puts a hand on Bokkun's shoulder. "Hey, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Now I know this is very sudden, but I need to ask you an important question" Steven asked before Bokkun looks at Steven. "What is it?" Bokkun asked, "Can you help me find Eggman's whereabouts?" Steven asked before Bokkun looked a bit angry. "No way! I'm not helping you find where Dr. Eggman is and you can't make me!" Bokkun says, "Come on, Bokkun. Please?" Steven asked while clasping his hands. "No!" Bokkun says, "Yes" Steven says, "No" Bokkun says, "Yes" Steven says, "No" Bokkun says, "Yes" Steven says, "No" Bokkun says, "No" Steven says, "Yes" Bokkun says, "No" Steven says, "Yes" Bokkun says, "No" Steven says, "Yes!" Bokkun says, "Alright! Then tell me" Steven says, "Fine! Dr. Eggman has another base somewhere in the Desert! Does that answer your question!?" Bokkun asked off screen while Steven looked a bit surprised. "Uh yeah. It does. Kinda. Well thanks anyway, Bokkun. Try to stay out of trouble!" Steven says before running off. "Yeah? Well good riddance to you too! Ha! He won't find Dr. Eggman now that I told him" Bokkun says before he looks shock in realization. Bokkun then throws a fit while yelling. "Oh come on!" Bokkun says.
In Mystic Ruins, Angel Island was seen floating above the ocean.
In the forest of Angel Island, Rouge was flying with her eyes closed and Topaz was following her. "I still don't see how getting a Chaos Emerald is gonna help us accomplish our mission" Topaz says before Rouge turns her head towards Topaz while shrugging her shoulders. "It's simple. If we wanna trick Eggman into talking, all we have to do is bring him something he wants more than anything" Rouge says while Topaz stood silent. "I guarantee ya this idea is going to work like a charm" Rouge says before Topaz pulls out a small radar map. The radar map beeped as it detected something. This caused Rouge and Topaz to stop and look at the device. "It's that way!" Topaz says before she and Rouge look up to see a glimpse of the stoned statues where the Master Emerald Alter was located.
At an office building, Scarlet was talking off screen. "Hello, I'm Scarlet Garcia. I'm the reporter with the affiliate in Station Square. Nice to meet you" Scarlet says off screen.
Inside the Office Building, Scarlet was seen talking to a group of employees. "We know who you are!" a man says, "Your report on Perfect Chaos was an outstanding piece of journalism! Can I have your autograph?" a man with glasses asked before Scarlet chuckles. "Thank you!" Scarlet says.
In a room, a man opens the door for Scarlet. "Everyone here is so friendly" Scarlet says and the man laughs a bit while having his eyes closed. "Your reports are terrific, which is why our news director here wanted to..." the man says before opening his eyes. "Huh?" the man asked as there was a blonde man seen looking out the window. "Oh, there you are, Franklin!" the man says before walking towards the blonde man. "Scarlet Garcia is here to see you" the man says off screen before the blonde man turns his head as it revealed it was Mr. Stewart. "Hello" Mr. Stewart says, "Scarlet, this is Franklin" the man says off screen, "Er, hi!" Scarlet says before going up to them. "He just joined the channel as news Director" the man says before Mr. Stewart and Scarlet shake hands. "That's great! Very nice to meet you, Franklin. I'm Scarlet Garcia" Scarlet says, "We have a lot to talk about, Ms. Garcia" Mr. Stewart says. A few minutes later, Mr. Stewart and Scarlet were seen sitting on separate couches across from each other. Scarlet was also holding a book labeled "THE SECRET OF THE PROJECT: SHADOW". "There's an important story here, Scarlet" Mr. Stewart says off screen before Scarlet looks at Mr. Stewart. "The Secret of the Project: Shadow?" Scarlet asked, "Yes. You're familiar with the story?" Mr. Stewart asked as Scarlet looked back at the book. "I am..." Scarlet says, "I understand your late father was also a journalist and that he investigated Project: Shadow before he passed away years ago" Mr. Stewart says before Scarlet looks at Mr. Stewart with an annoyed look. "I'd appreciate it if you'd get to the point" Scarlet says, "It's simple. Somebody's kept the real story about Project: Shadow a secret for years, and I need a reporter with guts to find out who and why" Mr. Stewart says, "No way!" Scarlet says before Mr. Stewart stands up and goes up close to her face. This made Scarlet gasped. "I want to know! And so do you. Aren't you curious? Wouldn't your father be?" Mr. Stewart asked off screen before Scarlet looked sad. "I'll watch your back and risk my life to make sure that you're safe. I promise you, Scarlet. Trust me. We can do this together" Mr. Stewart says as Scarlet thinks about it.

Back on Angel Island, the Master Emerald was seen being taken by ropes tied up to it. It revealed Rouge was carrying it while wearing her disguised outfit. "This is much better than a measly Chaos Emerald, but..." Rouge says before she closed her eyes and grunted. "But it sure is heavy!" Rouge says, "Hey!" Knuckles says off screen before Rouge turns her head back. Knuckles was seen running after Rouge. "Bring the Master Emerald back here!" Knuckles says as he continued running with Rouge continuing flying with the Master Emerald. "Ha! I'll stop you!" Knuckles says before jumps. Knuckles punches a boulder and this caused the boulder to get destroyed into pieces. This also caused one of the boulders to hit Rouge on the face and for Rouge to groan. Then this caused the Master Emerald to fall on the ground and for Rouge to crash into the bushes. Topaz was then seen hiding behind a large rock. "Rouge!" Topaz says before she runs forward. Suddenly, the Blue Chaos Emerald was seen on the ground and Topaz steps on it with a groan. Topaz then looks down in surprise. Rouge was then seen sitting up while having her eyes closed. "Ouch..." Rouge says, "Hey, Rouge!" Topaz says off screen before Rouge opens her eyes. Topaz was seen holding the Blue Chaos Emerald. "Look! I found a Chaos Emerald!" Topaz says, "Fine!" Rouge says before she stands up and jumps. "I'll keep this one!" Rouge says as she goes up to the Master Emerald and takes the ropes. "Not so fast!" Knuckles says as he steps forward. "Huh?" Rouge asked while looking at Knuckles. Topaz then face palms as she saw this. "Ah! Why does everything have to be a problem?" Topaz asked, "Relax, hun. Just let me borrow it for a little while. You really don't know when to calm down, do you?" Rouge asked, "What are you even talking about? Don't you know what that is? That's the Master Emerald! You're trying to take away the Master Emerald from me! You're putting us all in danger! You got that!? The Master Emerald contains special powers that neutralize the energy of the seven..." Knuckles says as Rouge was seen having her eyes closed, looking away, having one hand on her hip and the other one against the Master Emerald. "...Chaos Emeralds from going out of control. That makes it too powerful for anyone to control on their own and you're going to help me take it back!" Knuckles says, "First you'll have to catch me!" Rouge says before she runs off. "Come back here!" Knuckles says as he charges and slams into Rouge. "Ooh!" Rouge says before she hits a nearby tree. "Ah!" Rouge says before the mask falls off her face and sits to the ground. Knuckles then goes up to Rouge. "Got ya!" Knuckles says before Rouge opens her eyes. Knuckles then looked a bit surprised. "You're that woman!" Knuckles says before Rouge opens her wings and flies up. This caused Knuckles to shield himself a bit. Rouge then takes the ropes of the Master Emerald and flies up in the air. "You're not getting away that easily!" Knuckles says before he jumps up. Knuckles brings his fist forward and his fist made contact with the Master Emerald. This caused the Master Emerald to shatter and for Rouge to gasped while Knuckles was going down. "Aaaaaaaah!" Rouge says. Topaz gasped as she saw this from the ground. Knuckles lands on the ground before Rouge goes up to him and grabs him by the neck with an angry look on her face. This caused Knuckles to choke a bit. "What is your problem? Now look what you did..." Rouge says before she shakes Knuckles. "...To MY Emerald!" Rouge says before Knuckles takes Rouge's hands off his neck. Knuckles coughs a bit before looking at Rouge. "Serves you right! I obviously did that to prevent you from stealing the Master Emerald, you idiot! So what if it's shattered? I can easily restore if I find all the pieces for it" Knuckles says before he points to Rouge. "And by the way, that's not YOUR Emerald!" Knuckles says. Rouge scuffs while closing her eyes, crossing her arms and looking away from Knuckles. "I despise anyone who takes jewels from me!" Rouge says before she looks at Knuckles. "Just you wait! All the world's gems will be mine!" Rouge says before she flies off. Knuckles than looked in the direction Rouge flew to. "Yeah, just wait and see bat girl!" Knuckles says as he raises his fist up.
Back with Steven, he was seen walking through the open field towards his Castle Mansion. "Hmm. If Eggman's in the desert somewhere, then I'll need to tell Sonic when I get the chance. He's probably cloned his location so no one would find him. I've got quite a couple of places to visit tomorrow so I better get some rest" Steven says before he enters his Castle Mansion.
Back inside Steven's Castle Mansion in the study, the sky was seen orange from the window and Steven placed papers of drawings and information about Dr. Eggman, G.U.N, Prison Island, Project: Shadow and the Desert. "Hmm. This still doesn't make any sense, but it does kinda explain how it all lead to this. Eggman must have found out about the new robot designs from G.U.N. He hacked into their computer and found the secret file about Project: Shadow and its whereabouts. Which means... He's already on his way to Prison Island..." Steven says before he continued looking through different pages of different books. "Hmm. Now that I think about it. Where was the Project: Shadow even created at? Hmm... Since the Project is possibly on Prison Island, G.U.N must have found it a long time ago and hid it away from the Public. The G.U.N soldiers currently probably don't even know what the formers did to it. So maybe I could try and find one of the former soldiers that knew about Project: Shadow. But that might be impossible since I don't know where to start looking. Then what about the creator...? Hmm. Wait. If Eggman's taken interested in the Project: Shadow, maybe he knows something about the creator... Does that mean Eggman... Was originally from this world...?" Steven says before he looks at a globe nearby him. "If that's true... Are Eggman and the creator somehow... Related...?" Steven asked off screen.
21:02 Prison Island: Outside the base
Later on at night at an island that was known as Prison Island, it was quiet until a sound of an explosion goes off.
In the security room of Prison Island, the alarms were going off as three security guards were looking at the monitors. "What's wrong?" the security guard asked.
Back outside of Prison Island, smoke was rising from where the explosion blew up. A couple of tower lights then points towards where the explosion blew up. It revealed the explosion made an entrance to the inside of the laboratory building. "Intruder alert! Intruder alert! A security breach has penetrated Prison Island defenses at Gate number 3! This is not a drill! Repeat. This is not a drill!" a man says from the speakers off screen.
Inside the laboratory building of Prison Island, the place began going on lockdown as two doors began to shut in different sections. "Secure all entryways! Emergency lockdown..." the man says from the speakers off screen.
In another area of the laboratory building, the ceiling's door began to close. "...Procedures are effective immediately!" the man says from the speakers off screen.
In a hallway of the laboratory building, three security guards and a Gun Hunter were seen patrolling the area while the three security guards were holding rifles. "The intruders have been located in the north quadrant and are heading for the underground base!" the man says from the speakers off screen before the three security guards look up to the Gun Hunter. "All security units in the area, stand by and prepare to engage! All other members, prepare to counterattack in battle! All those on site, intercept using an emergency battle formations! Standard battle procedures initiated. Locate and prevent the intruders from infiltrating the security area! This is not a drill. I repeat. This is not..." the man says from the speakers off screen.
Iron Gate
In a hallway of the laboratory building, the man from the speakers continued. "...A drill!" the man says from the speakers off screen. Suddenly, an explosion went off near a sealed door and this caused the sealed door to burst open with smoke flying around. The smoke clears to reveal Dr. Eggman in his Egg Mobile while laughing hysterically. "Hahahahahaha! This is much easier than hacking!" Dr. Eggman says while looking at the long hallway in front of him. "Let's see, according to that computer file I stole from G.U.N, the top secret military weapon is this way. If it's as destructive as my grandfather claimed, then I can use it to rule this world, and no one can stop me!" Dr. Eggman says, "Wait up..." Decoe says off screen before Dr. Eggman looks back a bit. "...For us, Doctor!" Decoe says off screen as he and Bocoe pant while running up to Dr. Eggman with helmets on their heads that have medic signs. "We are going to attack the lab with you!" Bocoe says. Dr. Eggman looks at serious Decoe and Bocoe look before looking forward. "No thanks..." Dr. Eggman says while flying forward. "I'd rather go it alone" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe and Bocoe run after him while exclaiming. "But I am lean and mean!" Decoe says, "I can kick any robot's hard drive!" Bocoe says before a door opens. "Give us a chance to prove ourselves!" Decoe says off screen before Gun Hunter lands in front of the entrance way with a vibration. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe stop with Decoe and Bocoe exclaiming at the same time. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe saw the Gun Hunter in front of them before the Gun Hunter stands up and points it's gun at them. This made Decoe and Bocoe whimper while hugging each other. "Oh no!" Bocoe says.
On a computer screen, information of the Gun Hunter pops up with Dr. Eggman laughing off screen. "So it's a Gun Hunter" Dr. Eggman says off screen.
Back in the hallways, Gun Hunter fires its laser. "Whoa!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. Dr. Eggman then presses a button on his Egg Mobile. "Shield up!" Dr. Eggman says. Once the laser was about to hit Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe, it was suddenly being blocked by an invisible shield around them. The Gun Hunter stops firing its laser and looks up a bit. "My turn now!" Dr. Eggman says before he fires three blasts at Gun Hunter and this caused Gun Hunter to explode with smoke flying around. The smoke eventually clears up a bit with Decoe and Bocoe covered in dirt. "Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! I think his hunting license just expired!" Dr. Eggman says.
Back on the highway of Station Square, the President's limousine was seen driving. "He's where?" Christina asked off screen.
Back inside the President's limousine, Christina puts the phone down and looks forward. "Dr. Eggman is attacking the secret lab on Prison Island!" Christina says as the President and the Director of Central Intelligence sweat drop.
Back in the hallways of the laboratory building, another G.U.N robot called the Gun Beetle was firing towards Decoe and Bocoe. Decoe and Bocoe scream as they ran away from the fire power. Dr. Eggman then fires another blast from his Egg Mobile at the Gun Beetle and this caused the Gun Beetle to crash on the floor. Dr. Eggman looks down to the left to see Decoe and Bocoe shielding themselves with their eyes closed. "Stop cowering!" Dr. Eggman says before he flies forward. "Let's go!" Dr. Eggman says before Decoe and Bocoe look at him. "Oh! Wait for us, Doctor!" Decoe says, "Do not leave us here!" Bocoe says before he and Decoe follow Dr. Eggman. "Here we come!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time.
In another area of the hallways, there was a Mono Hawk hiding in a corner while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were seen walking from afar behind where it was. "I wonder why no more robots are attacking?" Decoe asked, "We must have defeated them all" Bocoe says before he and Decoe look around a bit. "Not..." Dr. Eggman says before Bocoe and Decoe look forward. "...Quite yet! There's one hiding up ahead" Dr. Eggman says as the Mono Hawk continued waiting while Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe continued going forward. After what seemed to be the perfect timing, the Mono Hawk makes it's appearance and fires to where Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe were, but they were not there anymore. The Mono Hawk stops firing before a shadow casts above it. The Mono Hawk looks up to see the Egg Mobile with Decoe and Bocoe holding on. Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe exclaim before the Egg Mobile smashes the Mono Hawk to the ground. This caused the Mono Hawk to be destroyed underneath the Egg Mobile. "Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Another crushing victory!" Dr. Eggman says. Decoe and Bocoe ran in the hallways while whimpering before stopping and hiding behind corners. "Huh?" Bocoe asked as he takes a small glimpse of a room. "Oh!" Decoe says while showing his head. Decoe then looks to the left. "Oh ho!" Dr. Eggman says as he looked forward.
Inside the secret laboratory, the area looked deserted and there was an old chamber in the room. "Oh! This room could use a good dusting" Decoe says off screen. "The machinery has not been used in a very long time" Bocoe says off screen before Bocoe looks up at Dr. Eggman. "Are you sure this is the right place, Doctor?" Bocoe asked, "According to the records, the military's top secret weapon is sleeping in that machine" Dr. Eggman says before he Decoe and Bocoe went up to the chamber. Decoe and Bocoe look to see the glass chamber was iced from the inside while Dr. Eggman gets out of his Egg Mobile. Dr. Eggman then walks up close to the chamber. "It's a lot small than I expected. Oh well! Time to wake it up" Dr. Eggman says before he presses a button on the machine. "First I register the user data... and then..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before he presses another button. "...I enter the password... The password is..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before he presses another button. "-MA-RI-A. Maria!" Dr. Eggman says before the machine beeps. Then a console panel opens up."Now all I have to do is to place the Chaos Emerald into this console..." Dr. Eggman says before he placed the White Chaos Emerald into the console panel. "...And we're all set!" Dr. Eggman says. Suddenly, the machine began to light up and smoke began pouring out of the old pipes. The machine then gets fully powered on with smoke flying everywhere in the room. Dr. Eggman grunted before he, Decoe and Bocoe notice the ice from inside the chamber begin to melt and clear up. Another beeping was heard and the chamber slowly opens up and caused more smoke to fly around in the room. Suddenly, a silhouette of what looked like a Hedgehog's head was seen a bit before the Hedgehog silhouette figure began to stand up. "Huh? You! It can't be...!" Dr. Eggman says as the silhouette Hedgehog figure that was known as the Ultimate Lifeform was finally seen after 50 years awakened.
Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)
Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! Man, I don't know where to begin. It all happed so fast! I was about to go and find more answers, but I was suddenly arrested by G.U.N! They think I discovered the secret to Project: Shadow on Prison Island, but it's impossible! I was home getting ready to go on my Adventure! As I was being taken away, Sonic was lucky enough to bust me out of G.U.N's hands and escape through Station Square, but Still, this is all wrong! I get that we were treated as criminals at the beginning, but we've all put that to aside thanks to me! Now it feels like I went back in time to be treated as an outside. Now that entire world is against me and there's nothing I can do to convince them that I'm innocent! The only thing I could really do is lay low and find out what's really going on. Something seems really shady about all this and I've gotta figure this out quickly! I have a feeling I'm gonna get into a fight that'll answer all my questions. Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog! "Steven the Fugitive" ("Shadow Knows") The fight is on!" Steven says off screen as the current Chapter/Episode ends.
