Time for training for Unova league came to an end for Ash as Unova league opening ceremony is just one week away.All time spent in special dimension paid off. His pokemon are growing strong. There are few pokemon who reached their next stage.

"Everyone let's go back to Kanto" said Ash as he recalled his pokemon
Two hours later Ash and his pokemon are at Pallet town.Ash first met with his mom and then went to Oak's corral
"Ash good to see you again. It seems you are ready for the league" said Oak
"Yup, well prepared" said Ash
"Now will show us your pokemon," asked Oak,Tracy and Delia
"Sure," said Ash as he sends his pokemon out but it proved hell for Oak,Tracy and Delia as Bewear took them in bone crushing hug
"Wow, stufful become strong" said Oak. Eevee,both Zorua jumped in arms of Oak and Delia
"Three of you are looking strong as well" said Oak
"Mom, Prof I have to leave for the Unova region. " said Ash
"Guys make yourself comfortable here" said Ash to which they nodded
After six days Ash reached Vertress City. He first of all landed in Nuvema Town, and then travelled to Vertress City. Cab stopped in front of the hotel where Iris and Cilan waiting for him
"Finally you are here" said Cilan as Meloetta made herself visible and then leapt at Iris and Cilan
"Nice to see you Meloetta," said Iris
"But Ash, what Meloetta is doing with you. She left with Ridley to live at her home" said Cilan
"Actually, Ridley called me and he said Meloetta can live with me. So she is my pokemon now " said Ash as all of sudden Eevee came out of the pokeball
"Who are these two dumbo" asked Eevee
"Eevee, they are my friends and they are good people" said Ash as Eevee sniffed them
"You are right, they are good" said Eevee as she nuzzle Cilan and Iris
"Hey when did you get this Eevee as why she is white" asked Iris
"She hatched from eggs few months back and she is very special. Eevee I know you don't love to go in pokeball but can you change your typing." said Ash as eevee is now brown in color like normal Eevee
"Ash, how is this possible" said Cilan in shock
"Actually she is a special Eevee, she can change her fur color depends on the type. She is now in her normal type, when she switch to electric type she becomes yellow. And sometimes she goes dual type as well. She just activated her eight types and remaining ten typings need to be activated" said Ash
"Amazing" said Iris
"Iris do you have dratini with you" asked Ash
"Yes, but she evolved all the way to Dragonair" said Iris
"Cool, mine too" said Ash as both released Dragonair
"Hey sis, nice to see you" said Ash's Dragonair
"Me too, " said Iris's Dragonair
"You are looking strong, " said Iris's Dragonair
"Yeah, we were training hard" said Ash's Dragonair
" One more thing, " said Ash as he released his Fraxure and Shelgon
"Bagon and Axew evolved," said Iris in excitement
"Yes," said Ash
"Not only Axew, but Kirlia,Scraggy, Zigzagoon,Nosepass,Chespin, Skiddo, Espurr,Stufful,Corvisquire, rolycoly, Lairon,Clobbopus,Toxel and Cufant as well
" said Ash
"Cufant, Bewear what are you speaking about" asked Iris
"Sorry, I traded my twenty six tauros and in return I recieved new pokemon from Galar, Kalos and Alola" said Ash as he showed them his pokedex which states all of his pokemon
"So which pokemon you bring here" asked Cilan
"I am allowed to carry maximum of thirty two pokemon, so I have my unova team and few of my newest additions and few others " said Ash
"Will you guys keep my extra pokemon when I will be battling " asked Ash to which they nodded
"Thank god no one is here, else secret of Eevee will be out" said Ash to himself
While walking towards the registeration booth, they heard familiar voice
"You are finally here Ketchum, " said a familiar voice
"Trip," said Ash
"I thought you wouldn't make it here, but since you finally made it, I don't want you to lose early. I want to defeat you" said Trip as he went away in different direction.
After registering, Ash and his friends start going to their hotel but stop when they see a tent.
"Look, a tent. I wonder to whom this tent belongs to" said Ash
"We will win this entire tournament Riolu" said Cameron as he exit out of the tent
"Hey Cameron, ho you have been" asked Ash
"Hi Ash, I am good.I won all required badges to qualify for the league " said Cameron
"When you arrived here" asked Ash
"Three days ago" said Cameron
"But did you registered yourself," asked Iris
to which he said that he hasn't registered.
All of sudden there was panic sets in as announcement informs everyone that the registration period has closed. Ash grabs Cameron and drags him to registration area where they both begNurse Joyto let Cameron enter. Nurse Joy agrees to accept Cameron, and he registers himself for the League.
"What the hell you were doing " said Ash as he scold Cameron
"Is he always like this" asked Pikachu to Riolu
"Yes, he is naive and forget things easily. I wonder if he use amnesia all the time, " said Riolu
"Thanks Ash, you are savior. By the way I will win the whole tournament" said Cameron
"How," asked Ash
"I have a secret weapon," said Cameron
"Let me guess, a hydreigon," asked Ash making Cameron's face colorless
"How you know about it" asked Cameron
"Simple, only one powerful pokemon of unova is Hydreigon, a pseudo legendary. " said Ash
"Now my secret is spilled. " said Cameron
"Don't worry, you have to give your best" said Ash
With everyone now registered, Ash and his friends head back to their hotel to relax. While everyone enjoys some food, Ash and Stephan both have lots of food on their plates. Next, Stephan and Cameron relax in the sauna, or at least Stephan does, while Cameron becomes extremely uncomfortable by the humidity.
Later on that night, Iris and Cilan are both fast asleep, but Ash is too excited he can't sleep, and Pikachu also wakes up due to Ash not being able to sleep. Ash and Pikachu get out of bed and look out the window which has a perfect view of the stadium.
"Pikachu, all training we did will going to pay off. We will bring home the title of Unova league champion. Battle frontier, Orange league, Kanto, Hoenn,Johto and Sinno. We did countless of battles. We met various rivals and friends. But this time everything is going to change" said Ash to which Pikachu nodded
The next morning all the participating trainers and a giant crowd gather in the main stadium for the Vertress Conference opening ceremony. Freddy O'Martian makes a big entrance when he skydives from a helicopter,Officer Jenny lights the torch, and a flock of Pidove fly overhead as the Unova league gets underway. Stephan and Bianca find their match-ups for the qualifying rounds and are determined to win. Ash looks to see who he's matched with, and he and Pikachu are both shocked when they find out all five hundred and twelve participating trainers Ash is facing off against Trip right off the bat.
"Initial five rounds will be three on three battle and remaining round will be six on six battle " said Freddy
First battle started with Ash and Trip facing off each other.They stood opposite to each other
"Ready to loose Ash, " said Trip
"In your dreams" said Ash
"Trip is against Ash and that too in first round," said Bianca
"Yes, and I think Trip will loose quickly," said Cilan
Barry who is present there gets furious and said "Ash, defeat the Trip or else I will fine you"
"Barry you would be a great cop" said Bianca
"Trainers send your first pokemon"
"Chandeleur battle time," said Trip sending his ghost and fire type
"Go " said Ash sending his Golett
"Where is your puny pikachu, " asked Trip
"He don't want to waste his time on you" said Ash
"I am sure he is afraid to face my serperior" said Trip
"Think what you want" said Ash
"Golett vs Serperior let the battle begin" said referee
"Chandeleur start with hypnosis " said Trip
"Golett reflect it, use magic imprison" said Ash
Chandeleur sways its arms and send sleep wave at Golett who glowed blue and send hypnotic waves back at Chandelure and with magic coat it used imprison sending red energy beam making Chandelure glowed red. Once hypnosis hit Chandelure it has been put to sleep.
Golett than released red energy beam from its eyes and strikes sleeping Chandelure
"Chandelure return" said Trip recalling his pokemon but it didn't worked
"That was mean look" thought Trip
"Golett use flash cannon" said Ash
Golett then fired flash cannon which Chandelure intercepted attack using inferno
Chandelure used will-o-wisp. Golett stretches its arms out and uused telekinesis and controlled will-o-wisp and used it to merge with flash cannon which take color of will-o-wisp and launched at Chandelure making it crashed on the floor
Chandelure levitated back in the air and used inferno. Golett creates a thin purple portal beneath itself and sinks into it. Seconds later, another portal appears behind the Chandelure,and Golett comes out of it before firing shadow ball and then used telekinesis to bring Chandelure near it and used shadow ball once again to knock it out. Before knocking out Chandelure, Golett planted stealth rock on Trip's side.
"You did great Golett" said Ash as Golett jumped happily before it started to glow and change size. Few moments later there stood Golurk
"Wow Golett, you evolved" said Ash happily
"Take rest Golurk" said Ash recalling his pokemon
Trip then sends his Conkeldurr and Ash sends his Scrafty out
"Your puny scraggy evolved, but still no match for my conkeldurr " said Trip
"You say so," asked Ash as battle between the two pokemon started.
"Scrafty use mega kick, " said Ash
"Block it" said Trip as Conkeldurr used its
concrete pillar to block the attack making scrafty jump back in the air and landed in front of Ash
"What you say now" asked Trip as all of sudden cracks started to form on pillars and eventually shattered into small pebbles
"What" asked Trip in shock
"What you say now" said Ash as Conkeldurr used stone edge, Scrafty dodged each stone projectiles thrown at him by kicking it or by punching it and charged at Conkeldurr and landed devastating sky upper cut sending Conkeldurr flying in the air.
"Conkeldurr use super power," said Trip as
Conkeldurr did backflips and glowed red before slaming its fist on field sending shockwaves on the ground. Battlefield shattered into pieces sending Scrafty flying in the air. Conkeldurr jumoed towards Scrafty in order to grab him
Scrafty then used double team to evade Conkeldurr and covered Conkeldurr in pile of sludge. This move poisoned the Conkeldurr. Conkeldurr shake.of the sludge and used bulkup and then formed the massive boulder above his head and throws it at Scrafty
Scrafty then showed great speed and evaded the attack. By using speed combination Scrafty assaulted Conkeldurr using close combat. Utilized fire and thunder punch, poison jab, sky uppercut, high jump kick ,focus punch, and rock smash to pumel Conkeldurr. As Scrafty about to use focus punch, Conkeldurr grabbed Scrafty and used brutal swing before slamming Scrafty on the battlefield
For next few more minutes both pokemon engaged in close combat before knocking out each other.
"Not bad, your Scrafty able to defeat my Conkeldurr. Let's see how your next pokemon will defeat my Serperior" said Trip as he send his grass snake out.
"Scolipede go" said Ash sending his bug and poison type.
"So he sends his Scolipede having speed boost and poison point ability. Not bad," thought Trip
" Ash is in the lead," said Iris excitedly
"Yes, but don't forget Trip's Serperior is too powerful " said Cilan
"Serperior start with aerial ace" said Trip
"Scolipede do as we practiced with Serperior" said Ash
"I get it, you practiced to defeat by Serperior quickly. " said Trip as Serperior striked Scolipede but it didn't made Scolipede flinched. Serperior then used aerial ace once again. Scolipede stand on its hind leg and then waited for Serperior to strike it. Once Serperior is near Scolipede it used defense curl making Serperior under grip of Scolipede
"Serperior get out of there, use solar beam" said Trip
"No you can't, " said Ash as Scolipede used rollout making serperior unable to charge solar beam
"Serperior use leaf tornado " said Trip as Serperior used leaf tornado making itself free from Scolipede's grip but it is surrounded in purple aura
"It seems Serperior is poisoned. What Trip will do" said announcer
"Serperior use leer" said Trip as Scolipede evaded attack using rollout and used pin missile which Serperior dodged and used
Leaf tornado. Both attack connected resulting into explosion.
"Serperior use wrap and constrict," said Trip as Serperior as it dashed towards Scolipede. Scolipede evaded attack using dig and then emerged on Trip's side and launched earthquake making Serperior flinched and used venoshock making
Serperior drenched in a poisonous liquid.
Taking the advantage Scolipede used pin missile sending poisonous needles at Serperior. Serperior used leaf tornado that destroyed pin missile and striked Scolipede
Scolipede then used earthquake, Serperior jumped in the air before wrapping itself around Scolipede and used constrict.
"It seems Scolipede is in danger," said announcer as Serperior formed hyper beam.
"Scolipede now" said Ash as smoke covered Scolipede and in place of Scolipede there is a dummy doll making hyper beam hit the dummy doll.Scolipede then charged at Serperior using giga impact.
"Serperior behind you" said Trip as Serperior dodged the attack and launched
solar beam striking Scolipede. Scolipede still charged at Serperior and striked it making it crashed near Trip
"Serperior you okay" asked Trip as Serperior stood back and hissed at Scolipede and started to glow green. Serperior then used frenzy plant.
"Okay Scolipede , show them our real speed, dodge it and use venoshock " said Ash as scolipede used agility and jumped on each massive root of frenzy plant to dodge it. While dodging the frenzy plant
Scolipede seems like a blur
"How, how that pokemon is that fast" said Trip
"Now, finish Serperior" said Ash as Scolipede used hyper beam knocking out Serperior. Scolipede then rushed back towards Ash
"You did nice job, here's the treat " said Ash as he gave Scolipede energy bar and recalled it back
"Nice job Serperior " said Trip as he recalled his pokemon back
"Hey Trip, nice battle," said Ash as he extends his hand towards Trip
Trip looked at Ash's hand and extends his too " Thanks, but you have to defeat Alder for me" said Trip
"I will, in that case are we friends right" asked Ash
"Yes, sorry for taunting you about your hometown. I saw your past battles, and I realized I was wrong. You are an amazing trainer." said Trip
"Thanks, so where are you going next, " asked Ash
"Not decided," said Trip
"It seems they are friends now, " said Cilan
"Yeah, " said Iris
Next on the green field is Stephan and hisZebstrikabattlingRadleyand hisBraviary. Zebstrika dodges a series of attack, but is eventually struck by anAir Slash. Radley prepares to zero in on his opponent, but Zebstrika retaliates with aThunderbolt. Stephan and Zebstrika win the match with an extremely powerfulGiga Impact. Stephan then sends his Sawk and Radley sends his Stoutland and got defeated quickly. Stephan and Radley sends their Leipard which knocked out each other making Stephan move to next round.
The next battle is Bianca andEmboaragainstMikaeland hisWatchog. Emboar dodges ahidden power, and replies with an effectiveflamethrower. Watchog stand to its feet again, and charges for acrunchattack. However, Biance has Emboar keep it at bay with anArm Thrust.
Emboar then defeated Watchog. Mikael's Boldore and Swadloon got defeated by Embaor.
Ash is in pokemon center to give his pokemon for treatment. Once his pokemon are healed Ash send Golurk, Scolipede and Scrafty back to Kanto.
For remaining day, other battles wrapped up. Ash's remaining main rivals reached to the next stage for the tournament.
As day turns to night, Ash, Cilan, Stephan, and Cameron are all relaxing in the sauna room of their hotel.
"Ash congrats, on you defeated Trip" said Cilan
"Thanks," said Ash
Next day second round started in which Bianca faced Cameron.
"Guys look, this time Cameron is facing Bianca " said Ash
"Now we have to see who will move to the next round, " said Cilan
"Trainers send your first pokemon " said referee as Cameron sends his Samurott and Bianca sends her Emboar.
Emboar and Samurott started with aqua jet and flame charge attacks and started pushing each other back. With display of great strength, both pokemon created mini explosion sending each other back
"What a marvelous display of strength " said Freddy
Emboar used flamethrower that Samurott answered with hydro cannon which passed through flamethrower and striked Emboar dealing good damage. Before Emboar can balanced itself, Samurott used aqua jet and striked Emboar and took Emboar in the air along with him.
"Embaor throw him down, " said Bianca as Emboar narrowed its eyes and used hammer arm on Samurott's neck making it crashed on the field. Emboar landed efficiently and glared at Samurott who is trying to stood back. Emboar then charged at Samurott with hammer which he retaliated using aqua jet and mega horn combo. The move combo did greater damage than aqua jet could do.This combo made Emboar fall on his knees and got assaulted by Samurott's razor shell
"And Samurott assaulting Emboar with razor shell. Will Emboar able to defeat Samurott" said Freddy
"Emboar grab his hand and use our new move that we practiced " said Bianca as Emboar successfully blocked the attack and grabbed both arms of Samurott. By grabbing both arms Emboar took Samurott in deadly grip making Samurott unable to move.
"Look at that, Emboar is now gaining upper hand on Samurott" said Iris
"Yes, now we have to see how Cameron will react" said Cilab
"What to do, what to do" thought Cameron as he extend his head band and released it
"Samurott stay calm, and use aquajet to engulf Emboar in water, said Cameron
"Emboar now" said Bianca as emboar jumped in the air along with Samurott who is trying to get free from Emboar's grip. Emboar spin three sixty degree multiple times and did multiple complete flips dived down toward the battle field and slammed Samurott on the ground
"So Emboar learned seismic toss " said Ash
"Samurott can you battle, " asked Cameron as Samurott stood up and used hydro cannon and used aqua jet and mega horn immediately. Emboar countered using flare blitz and wild charge combo which results into smoke and dust.When smoke and dust settles down, Emboar and Samurott can be seen staring at each other before both fainted
"Emboar and Samurott are unable to battle. Trainers send your next pokemon" said referee
"We have to say, that kid is good" said Iris
Cameron then sends his Ferrothorn and Bianca sends her Escavalier. Once again the battle between two pokemon resulted into draw.
"That's amazing, another draw. Both of them are trying hard to not to get knocked out," said Cilan
"Riolu you are next" said Cameron
Bianca sends her Minccino. Battle between Minccino and Riolu ended quickly and as a result, Riolu give Cameron victory over Bianca.
"You were great, " said Bianca
"You too," said Cameron as they both left the stadium. Bianca then met with her friends. For next few hours Ash's main rivals, Barry,Paul,Gary,Convay,Harisson, Nando, Morrison,Tobias,Tyson,
Virgil and Ritchie defeated their opponents and now it's final battle between Ash and Stephan
"Look, Ash is battling Stephan," said Bianca
"Oh my gosh, Stephan is going to send his all muscular Sawk" said Bianca going crazy over Sawk
"What a kid, " said Iris
"Ash, I am going to defeat you" said Stephan
"Let's see," said Ash
Stephan started with his most famous Sawk and Ash sends his Krookoodile
"Krookoodile let's see the result of your training with Primeape " said Ash
"Sawk start with close combat " said Stephan
"Oh yeah, let's see, counter that" said Ash as Krookoodile started to counter close combat with close combat
"What, your Krookoodile know close combat" asked Stephan in shock
"Shocking, isn't it" asked Ash as Krookoodile and Sawk exchanged attacks for next few minutes before Krookoodile used stone edge making Sawk skids back.
"Now use dig, " said Ash as Krookoodile started to dig multiple holes in the battlefield
"What Ash is doing " thought Stephan as Krookoodile made its way out of the battlefield
"Now use close combat once again," said Stephan
"Now Krookoodile " said Ash as Krookoodile enter one of the hole and then multiple sand tornado formed in each hole. Along with sand storm the battlefield turned into sand and Krookodile creates wisps of sand that surround the Sawk which then turn into a swirling sand vortex which encompasses the Sawk. Sand tomb started to pull Sawk towards it.
"So he is planning that," said Stephan
"Krookoodile use mean look and then use stealth rock, " said Ash
"Get out of there quick," said Stephan. Sawk is struggling hard to escape the sand tomb, but its of no use as Sawk is in the tornado. After few moments all sandstorm merged into one massive tornado
Krookoodile then launched stone edge that started to revolve around tornado of sand before striking Sawk. Krookoodile then jumped in to the sandstorm. For few moments Sawk looked at the battlefield. Sandstorm settled down and then Krookoodile can be seen stood still on center of the battlefield
"That's it, use close combat" said Stephan as Sawk used full power close combat and started to strike. All of sudden Krookoodile disappeared into smoke and real Krookoodile emerge from under the field and striked Sawk using dragon and shadow claw combination knocking Sawk back.
Sawk and then Krookoodile engaged in battle. After few minutes Krookoodile knocked out Sawk by using powerful giga impact.
"Nice battle, now face my next pokemon," said Stephan as he sends his Zebstrika.
Ash sends his Seismitoad
"Zebstrika start with wild charge." said Stephan
"Seismitoad brick break" said Ash as Seismitoad waited for Zebstrika to come near him and jumped in the air and landed powerful brick break on Zebstrika's back
making it halt wild charge and cry in pain
"Zebstrika can you battle," asked Stephan to which it nodded
"Now use thunder bolt" said Stephan
"Take it and use poison dance" said Ash
Back at the stand, Bianca is confused
"What's a poison dance"
"Don't know, " said Cilan as Seismitoad used rain dance after which black clouds formed and Seismitoad launched toxic into the clouds after which it glowed purple making purple rain falls on the battlefield. Purple rain soaked Zebstrika in purple water making it poisoned.
"What a wonderful combination by Ash Ketchum," said announcer
"Zebstrika charge at Seismitoad using wild charge" said Stephan
"Now Seismitoad use full power earthquake, " said Ash as Seismitoad placed its hands on the ground after which blue color pockets on his body started to viberate making ground shake and then whole stadium. This also made Zebstrika unable to move. Seismitoad then used scald followed by earth power knocking it out instantly
"Amazing, Ash has three pokemon while Stephan is left with one" said Max.
Stephan then sends his new capture, a mienfoo and Ash sends his Bisharp
"Meinfoo start with force palm" said Stephan as Meinfoo's arm glowed white and charged. Once mienfoo is near Bisharp, he jumped in the air and launched dark glowing arc.
"Mienfoo use high jump kick and then use drain punch" said Stephan as Mienfoo's knee glowed white and then charged at Bisharp who blocked the attack and send Meinfoo flying in the air. Mienfoo then dived at Bisharp with fist glowing with green aura.
Bisharp used its arm to block the attack and launched focus blast that exploded on Meinfoo's face knocking her back.
Bisharp then used iron head and striked Meinfoo dealing greater damage
"Ash surely trained hard, he is just making Stephan look like a rookie trainer who just started two days back" said Cilan
"Meinfoo use aura sphere" said stephan
"Destroy it" said Ash as Bisharp sends focus blast to cancel aura sphere and then used double team and used iron head and then used guillotine to knock out Mienfoo
"Stephan is out of usable pokemon, winner is Ash Ketchum" declared referee
"Nice battle Ash. I want you to win this whole damn tournament " said Stephan
"Tanking my leave to train harder, bye" said Stephan
"Thanks Stephan, I wish to battle you in future. And when we both meet each other, we will be stronger than today," said Ash
"Sure," said Stephan
Same night Ash transfered his Bisharp, Krookoodile and Seismitoad back to Kanto
