"Let's see who will be my next opponent, " said Ash as big screen lit up with all the feasible matchups and Ash is excited to see who is his next opponent
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our first participants of the day. Ritchie and Ash ketchum from Kanto region" said
the announcer
"Ritchie, nice to see you again " said Ash
"Your last two battles were amazing, I am impressed " said Ritchie
"Thanks, Zippo, happy and Sparky were amazing too" said Ash
"Let the battle begin," said referee
Ritchie sends his Charizard and Ash sends his Dragonair.
Charizard started by flying in the air and the dived down towards Dragonair with steel wing. Dragonair raised her head and then form blue color orb which released multiple beams. Charizard tried to dodge by gaining distance by flying high in the air.
"Dragonair aim for the wing" said Ash
Dragonair increased power behind the ice beam and strikes its target. Charizard's wing encased in ice. As soon as charizard wings encased it used flame charge to melt the ice. Charizard continuously used flame charge to increase speed and then charged back at Dragonair. As charizard is near Dragonair, she coiled herself but Charizard grabbed her and took her in the air
"It seems Dragonair is in charizard's grip " said announcer
"Now Zippo use seismic toss " said Ritchie
"Ash this is the end of your Dragonair, " said Ritchie
"Don't think so," said Ash as Ritchie look at the sky. Dragonair is using thunder bolt after which grip of charizard started to loose and then Dragonair coiled herself on Charizard's neck and then started to move towards Charizard's wings
"It seems Ritchie's charizard is in danger" said announcer
"Now dragonair do your thing" said Ash loudly as she started to shift her balance on left which started to make charizard imbalance.
"Zippo get rid of her, use seismic toss " said Ritchie as Zippo started to dive down
"Now Dragonair release him " said Ash as dragonair detached herself from Charizard and flew higher in the air and used whirlpool. Swirling tornado of water started to fall towards Charizard
"Zippo evade it and use dragonn rush," said Ritchie as charizard dodged the attack but got hit by water pulse making it start falling towards the battlefield
"Whoa, the battle is intense," said Max
"Yup, this is a battle between two rivals and friends " said Cilan
"Drag" said Dragonair as she charged at Charizard using aqua jet and dragon rush combo
"Zippo use flare blitz and dragon rush combo" said Ritchie as Charizard encased in flames and charged at incoming dragonair.Both Dragonair and charizard started to fell down towards the battlefield after collision.
Both pokemon landed on their side and released flamethrower which results into explosion.
"Zippo use dragon tail" said Ritchie
"Dragonair use aqua thunder tail" said Ash
"Aqua Thunder tail" asked Ritchie as Dragonair's tail glowed green and then encased in water. Dragonair then used thunderon herself and electricity accumulated around the water. Dragon tail and aqua thunder tail connected with each other. Aqua thunder tail over powered dragon tail making Charizard skid back.Dragonair used iron tail on Charizard's head knocking it back
"Zippo use flame charge" said Ritchie as
Charizard encased in flames and charged at Dragonair who retaliated using surf. Surf negated the flame charge making charizard completely wet unable to move
"Zippo are you okay" asked Ritchie to which he nodded
"Use steel wing," said Ritchie as Zippo started using steel wing. Dragonair used shockwave which Zippo blocked using fire spin. Dragonair then used aqua jet a d charizard used flame charge.Both pokemon clashed their attacks against each other before they started to get tired
"Zippo use inferno" said Ritchie
"Dragonair get inside using aqua rush," said Ash. Inferno and aqua rush connected with each other. Dragonair passed through inferno and striked Zippo knocking it back.
"Zippo if you can battle, then use steel wing," said Ritchie
"Dragonair use hydro pump" said Ash as hydro pump tried to pushed Charizard back. Charizard with all of his strength cut through hydro pump and strike Dragonair knocking her back.
"Dragonair can you battle " asked Ash to which she nodded
"Good, now use full power draco meteor and then use draco impact " said Ash as Dragonair used drago meteor making multiple meteor falls from the sky
"Zippo evade it and use giga impact combined with flare blitz " said Ritchie
Zippo evades most of the falling meteors but git stuck by some.of them which deals great damage. Zippo then used giga blitz and Dragonair used draco impact. When both attacks clashed with each other, it resulted into explosion. When dust and smoke settles down, Charizard and Dragonair can be seen completely tired, panting heavily.
"It seems both pokemon are very tried. Will these pokemon able to defeat each other," said announcer
"Dragonair/Zippo can you battle" asked Ash and Ritchie
Zippo once again used flame charge which Dragonair responded using aqua jet. Charizard then used steel wing and Dragonair used zap cannon, charizard evaded attack and striked Dragonair.
Dragonair with all her strength used draco meteor. This time Zippo eveded all meteor and used dragon pulse on Dragonair, Dragonair then used dragon tail to deflect the attack.
"Zippo return" said Ritchie recalling his pokemon
"Dragonair, you return as well," said Ash
"Sparky, your turn, " said Ritchie sending his electric type
"Fraxure battle time, " said Ash sending his dragon type
"Sparky let's start with raw power, use volt tackle" said Ritchie
"Catch Sparky " said Ash
Sparky surrounded in electricity and charged at Fraxure. Fraxure tightened its grip on battlefield and took the battle stance. Once Sparky connected with Fraxure, it started to push him back but Fraxure grabbed Sparky by its tail. Sparky tried to get itself free using thunderbolt.
"Now throw him in the air and then use dragon rage" said Ash
Fraxure used brutal wing to throw Sparky in then air and then used dragon rage.
"Sparky balance yourself and use iron tail to cut through the attack " said Ritchie as Sparky's tail shines silver white and then it dived down and cut throught the attack.Fraxure then prepared draco meteor and send the orb towards incoming Sparky which made Ritchie more worried and then order sparky to use double team as draco meteor passes through one of the copy and exploded in the air making small meteor crashed on the battle field as Sparky evaded some of them while some meteor striked Sparky dealing good amount of damage. Sparky stood back and then used quick attack in a zigzag pattern. Fraxure then used double team making Sparky confused
"Sparky hit all of them," said Ritchie as Sparky jumped in the air and used thunderbolt in all direction. Fraxure used protect to save himself before all copies vanished. Sparky then used dig attack. Fraxure then jumped in the air before using dragon rage that made Sparky crash back on the field.
"Sparky" said Ritchie. Sparky stood back and glared Fraxure
Sparky then used volt tackle which Fraxure countered using dragon rush before both repelled each other
"Use thunder punch " said Ritchie
"Grab and use dragon rage" said Ash
Fraxure used its jaws to bite on thunder punch making sparky unable to move quickly. Fraxure then used dragon rage sending Sparky crashed on the battlefield near Ritchie
"pika" said Sparky as he stood back
"Sparky can you continue, " asked Ritchie to which he nodded
"Spark let's give our all, use electro ball full power," said Ritchie
"We will give our all as well, " said Ash
Fraxure and Sparky both put their all power behind one attack. Fraxure prepared massive size dragon pulse, and sparky formed massive electroball. Both of them sends their attack at each other.
Both sphere based attacks collided into each other until both are fully merged and exploded leads to shockwave and smoke.
Few moments later both pokemon seems standing on their both legs, their energy levels are low
Once Ash and Ritchie confirmed that their pokemon can battle, they recalled them for the rest and revealed their next pokemon. They are Tyranitar and Shelgon
When Tyranitar enters the battlefield sand storm started
"It seems both trainers are not going to hold their power." said announcer
"Cruise start with dark pulse," said Ritchie
"Double team into rain dance," said Ash as Shelgon used double team after which black clouds formed in the sky after which it started to rain.Due to the rain sandstorm died and Tyranitar is clearly visible
"Tyranitar use dark pulse " said Ritchie
"Counter it with dragon pulse" said Ash
Dark pulse and dragon pulse connected with each other before it results into explosion. Tyranitar then stomps on the ground causing light blue rock pillars to appear out of the ground and rush towards the shelgon. Shelgon jumped in the air to avoid the attack and started to hop on each pillar. Once Shelgon reached near Tyranitar it used hydro pump a d started to push it back.
"Cruise use earthquake" said Ritchie as Tyranitar used its tail and foot to create earthquake making stone edge pillars turn into pebbles and dealt good damage.
Tyranitar then used dragon pulse which Shelgon countered using its own dragon pulse and powered it using fire blast. Fire blast pushed Tyranitar's dragon pulse resulting into great damage.Shelgon then fired draco meteor in the sky.
"Cruise destrot it before it can explode," said Ritchie as Tyranitar fired hyper beam to destroy the draco meteor successfully and used rock blast. Shelgon evaded the attack using double team making rock blast pass through one of the copies. Shelgon then used hydro pump once again making Tyranitar crashed near Ritchie
"Cruise use shadow claw," said Ritchie
"Shelgon counter it using hyper beam and then use hydro pump and then dragon rush" said Ash
Tyranitar's claws surrounded in black energy and then charged at Shellgon who used hyper voice making Tyranitar stop in mid track and then got struck by stream of water and then shelgon surrounded in dragon aura and striked Tyranitar knocking it back.
Tyranitar stood back and used stone edge which Shellgon destroy it using rock smash. Tyranitar then used earth power sending shelgon fly in the air, Tyranitar then used hyper beam which strikes Shelgon making him crash on the battlefield
Shelgon stood back and then used dragon rage which Tyranitar countered using thunderbolt resulting into explosion
"Wow Ritchie, you got stronger in past few years," said Ash
"Thanks Ash, you inspired me" said Ritchie as Tyranitar charged towards Shelgon with tail glowing blue. Shelgon used double team and then used hydro pump , Tyranitar used thunder bolt that striked Shelgon and hydropump striked Tyranitar making both pokemon flinched
Tyranitar then used rock slide to distract shelgon which Shelgon evaded but got struck by Tyranitar's dragon pulse.
"Shelgon you okay," asked Ash
"I am okay, I just wished if I had wings, it would be easier to evade the attack" said Shelgon
"If you are okay then , use hydropump" said Ash
"Cruise, use stone edge to cut through the attack and use hyper beam," said Ritchie as tyranitar stomps causing light blue rock pillars to appear out of the ground and rush towards the Shelgon and stopped hydro pump from reaching near him. As Shelgon was unable to evade on time got hit by stone edge. Shelgon countered hyperbeam with its own hyperbeam. Both hyper beam merged into one giant orb and then exploded.
Tyranitar and Shelgon are out of their energy.
"Shelgon use dragon rush" said Ash
"Cruise catch Shelgon" said Ritchie
Shelgon charged at Tyranitar with dragon rush. Tyranitar extends its arms and then successfully caught Shelgon
"I know it," said Ash to himself
"Shellgon use fire blast" said Ash
"Oh no, Cruise throw him back" said Ritchie as Shelgon already used fire blast that engulfed Tyranitar
"Now finish the battle using burning rage"
said Ash as Shellgon fired dragon rage and fireblast combo that knocked out Tyranitar
"Tyranitar is out," said referee
"Finally" said Max
"Shelgon you did good job. Return for now" said Ash recalling his dragon type
"Sparky you are up" said Ritchie as pikachu jumped on the battle field
"Fraxure go" said Ash sending his dragon type
Sparky started with volt tackle and Fraxure used dragon rush. Both pokemon collided in middle of the battlefield. Post that Pikachu used electroball and Fraxure used dragon pulse.
"Sparky use iron tail" said Ritchie
"Fraxure catch it and then use dragon rage" said Ash as Pikachu jumoed in the air and the landed a powerful blow on Fraxure. Fraxure easily caught the iron tail attack.
"Sparky prepare electro ball" said Ritchie but he was shocked when Fraxure swallowed electroball
"What, it seems Fraxure swallowed electro ball and there is no side effects of it" said announcer
Fraxure started to glow yellow and then fired dragon rage surrounded in electricity that striked Pikachu sending it crashed near Ritchie. Pikachu and Fraxure collided once again using volt tackle and dragon rush.Pikachu then retaliated using quick attack and Fraxure used aerial ace sending both pokemon in opposite directions.
Fraxure used draco meteor and Pikachu used quick attack to evade, but as soon as pikachu tried to use quick attack Fraxure used earth power sending battle field shattered into many pieces. Meteor from draco meteor hit Pikachu
Pikachu then stood up, burn marks can be seen on his body.
"Sparky are you okay, can you battle," asked Ritchie to which he nodded
Pikachu then used volt tackle once again, Fraxure used giga impact. Both pokemon
pushed each other back until it leads to eplosion knocking both pokemon out.
Ritchie then sends his Zippo out and Ash sends his Dragonair
"Dragonair, this is a final clash, we have to give our all" said Ash to which she nodded
"Zippo use steel wing," said Ritchie
"Dragonair use Mist " said Ash as charizard charged at Dragonair who
opens its mouth and a thick transparent white cloud comes out of its mouth covering entire battlefield. Charizard then passes through without hitting Dragonair
"And Dragonair uses mist as a cover" said announcer
"Zippo get rid of mist, " said Ritchie as Charizard started to flap its wings making the white smoke disappear. By the time mist disappeared Dragonair already launched hydro pump that Charizard evaded and grabbed Dragonair and took her in the air and used seismic toss. Charizard slammed Dragonair on the battle field and came back with iron tail and tried to land a hit.Dragonair used her tail to block the attack and used aqua tail making charizard fly in the air to evade the attack
Charizard then came back using flare blitz which dragonair countered using dragon rush and aqua jet combo.
Right now the situation is very critical. Both pokemon are now on their last eenergy deposits but didn't want to give up.
Charizard then used dragon claw which Dragonair blocked using dragon tail and used close range hydro pump. Ritchie's zippo is too stubborn to surrender and used steel wing to get near Dragonair and grabbed Dragonair using his jaws. Charizard then took Dragonair at higher altitude .
Now dragonair is struggling for her life, she just wanted to get strong and win her official battle. She stop resisting and used dragon breath on Charizard's wings making him cry in pain and as a result she is free but Charizard is falling towards the battlefield. Charizard's wings are severely damaged.
"Zippo no" said Ritchie as his eyes started to water which Ash noticed as well.
Dragonair felt sorry for her opponent. She don't want to kill him, she wanted to save him. Dragonair then dived down and then started to glow white.
"It seems dragonair is evolving in middle of the battle. What an unexpected twist" said announcer as instead of dragonair, there is dragonite. Dragonite dived down and caught charizard just before he is about to crash on the battlefield and gently place on the ground.
"Thanks, you are a kind hearted dragonite," said Charizard
"Thanks," replied Dragonite
"Are you okay Zippo," asked Ritchie to which he nodded
"Ritchie let's put our all in this final clash," said Ash to which he nodded
"Dragonite, Charizard use aqua jet/flame charge" said the two trainer as both pokemon connected in middle of the battlefield. Both of them are now standing in middle of the battle field glaring each other, running out of breath. Charizard and Dragonite nodded at each other before they fainted.
"Dragonite and Charizard are out. With Ash Ketchum still has one pokemon, he moves to the next round" said referee
"That was an amzing battle, I ever had. " said Ritchie
"Thanks, but I think that was because our pokemon wanted to proove themselve" said Ash
"Now let's heal our pokemon," said Ash as both of them left for pokemon center. Meanwhile other battles took place. Ash then met with Stephan,Bianca,Cilan and Iris at pokemon center.
"Wow Ash, you got a dragonite " said Cilan
"Thanks, she wanted to save Charizard from getting severe injuries and that's triggered her evolution " said Ash
It's already one hour passed, Ritchie and Ash are catching up with each other until Nurse Joy informed them that their pokemon are healed
"Thanks Nurse Joy," said Ash as he recieved three pokeballs. Ash and Ritchie released their pokemon on a battlefield located outside the pokemon center
"Fraxure,Shelgon and Dragonite you did amazing job" said Ash they started to dance happily. Dragonite looked at Ash and took him in a friendly hug. Dragonite then saw Iris and Cilan and took them in the hug as well. But Shelgon's happy expression switched to sad expression
"Shelgon, don't be so sad, you will fly one day.I promise you, " said Ash as Shelgon looked at Ash and then at Dragonite and Fraxure who assured him that he will fly one day.
Iris sends her Dragonair who looked at Dragonite as both hugged each other which confused Ritchie
"Both Dragonair and Dragonite are sisters. So Dragonair is happy for her sister that she grew up into Dragonite." said Ash
"Dragonair, you will become Dragonite soon. Don't be sad if you are not a dragonite yet. I know , under the care of Iris you will achieve greatness in your life," said Ash
"Dragonite, Fraxure, Shelgon, anyone of you want to go back to the Kanto. I will call you back if needed your help. I think you should rest a bit at the lab " said Ash to which they nodded. Ash then sends his three dragon type back to Kanto
"I have to leave now Ash, " said Ritchie
"Leaving already," asked Ash
"Yeah, I have to challenge Kalos league. So I have to train," said Ritchie
"All the best, I want you to reach in top two" said Ash
"I will, " said Ash as Ritchie
"Look out for me, I will be there as well. We will give our all next time we meet" said Ash
"Promise" said Ritchie as he left for his new destination
For remaining day, all other participants done with their battles. Ash and his friends are now relaxing in sauna
"A relaxing sauna bath after a stressful day, isn't it good guys," said Ash
Next day battles for top sixty four round kick started and matchups were declared. Ash is now against his Johto rival Harrison. The battle between Ash and Harrison is in second half of the day.
All battles of first half ended and now it's time for battle between Ash and Harrison. Both of them are standing opposite to each other.
"Harrison nice to see you again. " said Ash
"I can say the same, though it would be amazing if we battled in later rounds of the tournament. " said Harrison
"Trainers, send your pokemon" said referee
On other side Meloetta is watching battle as she is with Iris but invisible to the audience.But she can use her telepathy to cheer Ash
"Go Talonflame" said Harisson as he sends his fire and flying type
"A flying type from kalos region, " said Ash
"Go unfezant" said Ash sending his flying type who took flight in the air
"Amazing, an aerial battle between the two regional bird. We have to see who will win " said announcer
Talonflame and Unfezant are hovering above the battlefield. When referee gave signalled to start battle both pokemon flapped their wings and flew higher in the sky before charging at each other with steel wings. Steelwings clash against each other before they repel each other back.Unfezant then charged at Talonflame with quick attack.
Talonflame waited for Unfezant and as soon as Unfezant is near Talonflame, it dodged the attack and used fire blast. Unfezant looked behind and dived down towards battlefield evading the attack and charged back at Talonflame using steel wing. Talonflame then started to flap wings and released small fireballs that striked Unfezant. Unfezant started to spin while using steelwing and deflected ember.
Unfezant then charged at Talonflame using sky attack. Talonflame then used flamecharge to evade the attack unless Talonflame's speed is increased and clashed with Unfezant's sky attack making both pokemon fall towards the battlefield. Unfezant used gust and Talonflame used gust as well that created massive tornado. Unfezant then used sky attack which Talonflame countered using flareblitz. Talonflame then used fire blastwhichUnfezant evaded using double team and used air cutter landing hit on Talonflame.Unfezant then used sky attack once again which Talonflame countered using flame charge.
Talonflame and Unfezant are glaring each other.
Talonflame used flamecharge and Unfezant used sky attack after which both pokemon clashed in mid air which results into explosion.
"Unf" said Unfezant
"Tal" said Talonflame as Unfezant surrounded in flames
"That's flame body, " said Ash
Both Unfezant and Talonflame are panting heavily.
"Unfezant use brave bird " said Ash
"Counter with brave bird," said Harrison
"Sky attack " said Ash
"Flame charge " said Harrison
"Quick attack " said Ash
"Flare blitz" said Harrison
"Sky attack" said Ash
"Aerial ace" said Harrison
"Brave bird" said Ash
"Brave bird" said Harrison
Both pokemon clashed against each other for next few minutes until they knocked out each other.
Harrison then sends his Steelix and Ash sends his Samurott.
"Stee" said Steelix
"Samu" said Samurott
"Samurott vs Steelix let the battle begin " declared referee
