Thirty minutes later Ash is in forest near the Vertress City. He is currently addressing his few pokemon which includes Charizard,Bergmite, Pikachu,Primeape,Blastoise,Snorlax,Lapras, Pidgeot,Gengar,Lucario,Gardevoir,Gyarados, Steelix,Sceptile,Garchomp,Infernape,Torterra, Staraptor,Gliscor,Muk,Tauros,Ivysaur,Floatzel, Hydreigon,Glalie,Typhlosion,Meganium,Tyranitar,Heracross,Claydol, Meowstic,Indeedee,Bewear and Feraligatr.
"Guys, we are in semifinals and our two main rivals Paul and Tobias are there.. But I am really confused on who to choose. For now, I selected you as you guys are possible candidates for the finals and semifinals. " said Ash
"But we are not sure, which team both of them are going to select. Tobias may have legendaries with him" said Ash
"Anyone who wants to volunteer, " asked Ash
"You guys discuss among yourself, " said Ash as his pokemon started to discuss among them
"Which pokemon does this Paul have," asked Snorlax
"As far as I remember, when we battled him in Sinnoh, he used Magmortar, Drapion, Frosslass, Torterra, Staraptor, Gastrodon, Aggron,ninjask Electivire,Gliscor, Ursaring,Honchkrow, Weavile,Hariyama,Nidoking" said Floatzel
"He relies on pure power or pure speed and his tactic to let his opponent come near him and then trap them before defeating them" said Torterra
"Snorlax you have immunity and thick fat as an ability right. " said Gardevoir
"In that case you should be part of this team. If Paul use any fire type powerhouse, any poison type or an ice type then you will be helpful. Immunity will help you prevent from getting poisoned and thick fat will boost resistance to fire and ice type moves." said Gengar
"That's right, and he knows metronome so Paul won't know what hit him. So who vote for Snorlax to battle Paul" asked Pikachu to which everyone raised their paws, fins or wings.
"Snorlax will you be able to handle three pokemon," asked Charizard
"Yes, I can " said Snorlax
"Snorlax don't take stress in defeating the three pokemon. We will achieve it as a single team," said Ash
"Lucario, did you sensed someone" asked Ash
"No, we are safe. If anyone will come here , I will inform you," said Lucario
"Ninjask, Staraptor,Honchkrow and Gliscor are flying type. Ninjask being part flying and part bug type, Staraptor being normal and flying type,Honchkrow being part dark type and Gliscor being part ground type." said Staraptor
"One way is to use gravity and both Claydol and Meowstic knows this move. So who want to battle these three" asked Gardevoir
"I want to give Meowstic a chance. Meowstic is new and no one have seen him battle. So I am out of this " said Claydol
"But we need fire type moves coverage for these pokemon," said Meowstic
"You know assist right, " said Pikachu
"We will have fire type in our team" said Ash
"Most of us know sunny day so there has to be a work around for using it as a fire based attack, said Torterra
"So we vote for Meowstic" said Gardevoir as everyone agrees to it
"That left us with Aggron,Electivire,Hariyama, Weavile,Nidoking,Ursaring and Torterra" said Floatzel
"If Paul used Ursaring, Aggron, Electivire and Nidoking, I will battle them " said Infernape walking towards the group
"You sure," asked Pikachu

"We believe on you infernape, go ahead" said Ivysaur as everyone voted for Infernape
"Hariyama, is having thick fat as an ability, so we can't use fire and ice type. " said Ash
"I know role play, imprison and skill swap so it should be beneficial for me" said Gengar
"Okay then Gengar is in. I am out of this for now," said Tauros
"Now there are two slots left. Weavile is fast so we need someone who can outrun Weavile," said Pikachu
"Pidgeot, he can fly at mach 2 speed," said Floatzel
"Okay then we all decided to let Pidgeot be part of the team," said everyone
"Since we know if Paul has any other pokemon or not. From Unova we have few option which he can choose from. Hydreigon, Emboar, Conkeldurr,Excadrill, Krookoodile, sawk and Golurk have 80 percent of probability of being in his team. Outside of unova he could have Camerupt, Rhyperior, Flygon, Rampardos, Metagross" said Ash
"Let's use one pokemon that he didn't thought of" said Pikachu
"What if I battle, " asked Bewear
"You," asked Ivysaur
"Yes, Bewear could be a good option. He is very strong and we all know he could be a beast when it comes to battle," said Charizard
"What about Magmortar, because of his ability he will get double damage from fire type moves
" said Infernape
"Hey Bewear, if you don't mind you could sit out of this battle. I make sure to let you battle in elite4 challenge," said Ash
"Okay, works fine with me," said Bewear
"Gyarados , would you love to battle," said Ash
"Me, but" said Gyarados
"You can do it, you have versatile move set " said Ash

Ash recalled his pokemon back and send them back to Kanto except his few pokemon
Next day Ash is ready to take down Paul. Last time Paul defeated Max and Tobias defeated Morrison without showing his second pokemon.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen there are only four participants left, and with today's first battle of semifinal round begins. Please welcome our most famous participant of this league Ash Ketchum from kanto and Paul from sinnoh region" said referee
Back in the Sinnoh region, Reggie is stick to television for watching the most awaited battle.
"Ash ketchum made his way to semifinals by defeating his opponents by using his powerful multi regional team." said announcer as Ash enters the battlefield
"And we have another competitor Paul, who just defeated his every opponent without losing a single pokemon." said announcer as Paul enters the battlefield he looks at Ash and give him a smile
"Paul nice to see you again standing against me as an opponent" said Ash
"Well me too, I have to clear the score between us, and I must say you have grown up as a trainer" said Paul
"My opponents are the one who helped me " said Ash
"Trainers, this is a six on six battle, rules are same, you can switch pokemon in the mid of the battle if you want to. Send your first pokemon " said referee
"I don't know which Pokemon Ash will choose, unlike the sinnoh league he had limited set of Pokemon to choose from" thought Paul grabbing his first pokemon
"Paul I will defeat you, this time again" thought Ash as he unclip a pokeball from his belt.
After enlarging their pokeball, both threw their pokeball, pokeball opens up releasing the pokemon from their confinement.On scoreboard image of both pokemon appeared.
" Snor" said snorlax as he emerge from the pokeball.
"Magmortar" said Paul as he released his mighty fire type
"Let the battle between snorlax and marmortar begin, " said referee
"Let the system decide who will start the first attack" said referee as system decided Paul to begin with.
Paul smirked and said "Magmortar get ready and use smokescreen" said Paul as Magmortar extends one of his arms at Snorlax and released the dark pitch black smoke covering the full arena with smoke that is reaching all the way to audience.
"It seems magmortar is covering the whole arena with smoke, so that Snorlax
could not see the Magmortar" said announcer
However, Snorlax is not panicking at all, Snorlax glowed blue and launched the blue orb in the sky that formed black clouds that started
to rain and eventually subsiding the smoke screen which reveals Magmortar.
"Snorlax use double edge high speed" said Ash
"Take the attack" said Paul as Magmortar nodded and allowed the Snorlax to hit.
"I know what you want to do Paul, I know of Magmortar's ability" thought Ash making Paul smirk.
"But you forgot about Snorlax's ability," said Ash making Paul narrow his eyes. Snorlax glowed white and ran towards Magmortar with such a high speed that shocked everyone.
"When Snorlax get that fast," asked Misty
"I don't know, " said Brock
Magmortar is ready to take the attack, as soon as Snorlax striked Magmortar, Magmortar was sent thirty feets away from him. Snorlax covered in flames making his body glowed white after which flames disappeared.
"How is that even possible, " asked Paul to himself until he realised.
"No way, Snorlax has ability thick fat" though Paul
"Magmortar return" said Paul as he recalled his fire type and then though for a while before sending his Drapion. Magmortar's image greyed out and Drapion's image appear on scoreboard.
"And Paul sends his invincible Drapion." said announcer
Drapion vs Snorlax
"Toxic spikes" said Paul as Drapion opens its mouth and a dark purple orb forms inside it. It then fires the ball into the air, which spirals and releases four small streams of purple smoke from the top of the ball.
"Snorlax use shockwave and destroy the toxic spikes," said Ash. Snorlax glowed yellow and then send wave of thunder shock that destroyed toxic spikes.
"Do you really think if this can stop Snorlax then you are wrong " said Ash as he snaps his finger after which Snorlax jumps twenty feet in the air and then landed on the floor creating earthquake making Drapion flinch. Taking the advantage of the time,just before Paul could command Drapion, Snorlax rammed into the Drapion sending it skid twenty feets back.
"Drapion pin missile," said Paul as Drapion thrusts its claws forward and shoots white streams of pins at the Snorlax. Snorlax used psychic to send the attack back at Drapion who simply dodged the attack and crossed its claws.
"Venoshock" said Paul as Drapion fires a stream of purple, poisonous liquid from tail at Snorlax.
Snorlax simply rolled over to avoid the attack and jumped sixty feet higher.
"Look at the jump everyone, Snorlax broke all high jump records. " said announcer.
"Now use heavy slam, " said Ash as Snorlax shined white and started to fall quickly.
"Drapion get out of the way quickly, " said Paul as he ordered Drapion to evade the attack. Just before Drapion could evade the attack, Snorlax already crashed into him. Few moments later Snorlax get up and walked back at Ash's side
Drapion laid there for few moments and then get up.
"Now use dig and then cross poison," said Paul as Drapion jumped and then started to dig a hole.
"Snorlax use earthquake, " said Ash as Snorlax jumped higher in the air just before Drapion came out.Drapion sends purple x at Snorlax which didn't stopped Snorlax as he crashed on to Drapion. Drapion somehow survived the attack.
"Drapion return," said Paul recalling his pokemon back.
"Snorlax you take rest as well," said Ash recalling him back.
"Honchkrow take the stage," said Paul as he sends his flying and dark type
"Meowstic battle time," said Ash sending his psychic type
As soon as Meowstic enters the field, Meowstic's eyes glowed red and red energy beam hit Honchkrow engulfing it in red aura. Meowstic narrows its eyes and the cap on the top of its head lowers slightly. Multiple black circles of energy come out of the center of its body and travel outwards. Then, Honchkrow is drawn down to the ground
"He is using a different pokemon. So, a psychic type from Kalos region." said Paul to himself
Meowstic vs Honchkrow
"Meowstic use quick guard," said Ash as
Meowstic puts its hands together and becomes outlined in a bright red aura. It then points its hands forward, forming a bright red barrier of energy in front of itself that protects it and its allies.
"Honchkrow try to fly and use steel wing," said Paul but it is difficult for Honchkrow to fly.
"Honchkrow return," said Paul as he tried to recall his flying but it didn't worked.
"Mean look, Meowstic used mean look as soon as Honchkrow entered the battle arena. And then gravity to make him down to earth " said Ash that made Paul gritted his teeth.
"Rain dance," said Ash as Meowstic launched blue orb after which rain started.
"Paul there is one more trick. Meowstic use yawn and then charge beam" said Ash that made Paul more angry. Meowstic opens its mouth and releases multiple pink bubbles at the Honchkrow. When the bubbles burst in the Honchkrow's face, it becomes drowsy and falls asleep.
"With Honchkrow fell asleep, will Paul able to defeat Ash," said announcer.
An orb of light blue electricity appears in between Meowstic's hands and it fires a beam of light blue electricity from the orb at the Honchkrow engulfung it in electricity dealing good damage.
"Paul is handicapped at this point, " said Dawn
"Yes, Honchkrow don't know any move to counter it, " said Brock
"Now Meowstic use assist, " said Ash as Meowstic glowed blue and then launched overheat attack that made Paul's eyes widened. As soon as the overheat attack hit Honchkrow the battle was over.
"Honchkrow is unable to battle, Meowstic wins, " said referee. The image of Honchkrow becomes completely dark.
"Way to go Ash, you did an amazing job, " said Dawn cheering Ash on his victory. Meloetta also cheering on Ash.
At this Paul became speechless. The way Ash planted each and evey move was commendable.
"Ash revealed his two pokemon till now, and Paul revealed his three pokemon. Let's see who will move to finals," said announcer
"I can't use Magmortar, Frosslass, and Drapion until I knock out Snorlax. My Honchkrow is already got defeated. Only option I have is Aggron and Electivire " thought Paul as he picks next pokeball and sends his Aggron
"Paul sends his Aggron, let's see which pokemon Ash will send, " said announcer as Ash sends his Infernape.
Aggron vs Infernape
Aggron started with rock tomb. Aggron raised its arm and then formed a massive boulder in the air and throws it at the Infernape. Just before boulder can split into many small boulder, Infernape used rock smash to destroy it.
Aggron then used metal sound which Infernape evaded with dig.Taking the advantage of Infernape being underground, Aggron tried to use earthquake but Infernape came out early and landed powerful flame sky uppercut. This not only send Aggron skids back but also put him on flames.
Aggron then surrounded in silver aura and charged at Infernape. Infernape covered in fiery aura and then charged at the Aggron.Both of then connected in middle, causing explosion.
"Aaaaggron" said aggron loudly as he formed blue orb between his horns and fired multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy at the Infernape
"Infernape let it surround you and then use dragon blitz," said Ash as Infernape take the attack on himself that shocked everyone
"What Ash is doing," asked Paul to himself as Infernape is surrounded in energy of dragon pulse.Infernape then surrounded in flare blitz with coating of dragon pulse around flames and charged at Aggron. Aggron then used protect which Infernape overpowered and striked Aggron. As an additional effect, Aggron is burned.
"Aggron use water pulse," said Paul as Aggron formed blue sphere between his horns and then
launched it at the ground after which wave of water moves towards Infernape.
"Infernape, show them our power. Use power up fire punch" said Ash as Infernape glowed white and tornado of flames formed around him. Fire spin got dissipate due to water pulse but Infernape is no where to be seen. All of sudden columns of flames erupts and raced towards Aggron. Before Aggron could react, flames merged into one massive column and burned Aggron. Infernape then came out and landed power up punch enhanced fire punch sending Aggron crashed near Paul.
"Aggron use dragon pulse " said Paul as Aggron fired dragon pulse. Infernape used dig and came out and tried to land one blaze kick which is stopped by Aggron. Aggron grabbed the leg and slammed Infernape on the ground multiple times.
"Now say Ash, what you will do," asked Paul
"Infernape use bulldoze kick " said Ash as Infernape transferred the energy of bulldoze to its leg which is under the grip of Aggron. The energy then exploded making Aggron cry in pain and released Infernape.
Infernape then assaulted barrage of kicks and punches dealing good anount of damage to Aggron. Aggron then used water pulse , which Infernape avoided by using flame charge in the air and then striked Aggron. Aggron charged with iron head which Infernape avoided it with
dig and used firespin on Aggron. Aggron then used water pulse to dissipate the fire spin and charged in with dragon claw which Infernape countered with the shadow claw.
As soon as Aggron tried to use metal claw, Infernape used double team and used overheat knocking it out.
"Aggron is unable to battle Infernape wins," said referee. Aggron image turned black on score board.Paul and Ash recalled their pokemon back.Paul sends his Drapion back and this time Ash sends his Pidgeot. As soon as Pidgeot came out it went higher in the air.
"With Ash's fourth Pokemon revealed, will Paul be able to defeat him," asked announcer
Pidgeot vs Drapion
"Pidgeot show them your real speed, use brave bird," said Ash as Pidgeot pulls in its wings and dives down at the opponent like a missile, its body bursting into flames. Then, it pulls out its wings, its body becomes surrounded by a blue aura.
"Drapion get ready, " said Paul as just before he could command his next move, Drapion was already knocked out.
"Drapion is unable to battle. Pidgeot is the winner " said referee as Pidgeot landed in front of Ash
"How is that even possible," asked Paul
"Well, my Pidgeot was defending its flock from past six years. Having a battle against flock of Spearow and their leader, it made him strong " said Ash as he stroked neck of Pidgeot.
"Ash's Pidgeot have gotten stronger than we anticipated, " said Misty
"Yeah, I remember that day when he evolved into Pidgeot to save the flock" said Brock
"Go" said Paul as he sends his pokemonAnd Paul sends his Froslass. With Ash having
"Pidgeot return, " said Ash as he recalled Pidgeot and sends Snorlax. Snorlax is still in rest mode.
"Ash sends his Snorlax who is not resistant to Froslass's ghost typing. His ability thick fat makes him resistance to ice type moves. In this way Ash has dual advantage, " said Brock to Ash's friends
"This is certainly a new flavor to battle. Ash, knows what to do" said Cilan
"But Froslass has ability as curse body and snow cloak, " said Dawn
"And Froslass is resistant to normal, bug, ice, poison and fighting types moves as well," said Max
"Snorlax is strong, but we have to see how Ash will use him," said May
"Ash, have something planned if he is using Snorlax," said Misty
Snorlax vs Froslass
"Froslass use hail, " said Paul
"Snorlax don't let it use Hail, use fireblast, " said Ash as Snorlax rasied its arms and formed orb of flames and then launched it at the Froslass.
Frosslass evaded the attack and Froslass's body glows light-blue and she floats into the sky. Then, thick clouds appear above the battlefield and a thick fog forms. Froslass then floats into the clouds and snow starts to fall from the clouds.
"Snorlax use metronome," said Ash after which Snorlax raises its hands and waves its fingertips back and forth until they start to glow white. Snorlax then creates a crimson ball and holds it above its head, releasing multiple smaller balls from the larger one all around its body towards Froslass. Froslass got hit by one orb as she tried to evade the attack.
"Was that dark void," asked Paul
"You got it right Paul, metronome selected dark void," said Ash that shocked Paul
"Froslass get up, and use shadow ball," said Paul but it's of no use. Ash could see distress on Paul's face but this is a battle.
"Snorlax, use hyper beam, " said Ash as Snorlax fires massive beam from its mouth that knocked out Froslass
"You did well Snorlax, take rest, " said Ash recalling his pokemon.Paul then sends his Magmortar.
"Now, which pokemon Ash will send," asked Cilan
"I choose you, " said Ash as he sends his Gyarados.
"Holy shit, " said Misty
"What happened, " asked Brock
"Believe me or not, Ash defeated my goldeen with his magikarp" said Misty
"Are you saying true, " asked Brock
"Yes, he used double team, ice beam, aqua jet and thunderbolt to defeat me," said Misty
"If Ash could train the Magikarp to use such attacks, then I can't imagine what other moves this Gyarados knows. As far as I remember Gyarados have versatile moves," said May
"Gyarados vs Magmortar, let the battle begin," said referee
Gyarados Vs Magmortar
"Gyarados start with twister," said Ash as Gyarados's eyes glowed blue and it released a loud roar after which tornado appeared racing towards Magmortar
"Counter with fire spin" said Paul as Magmortar extends its cannon like arms and released tornado of flames that collided with each other resulting into massive tornado of flames. Tornado of flames then rises up in the air before disappearing.
"Use rock tomb " said Paul as Magmortar send purple glowing orb at Gyarados. Gyarados covered in silver aura and then charged at Magmortar while dodging each rock tomb.
Magmortar extends its arms and tried to stop Gyarados but Gyarados overpowerd Magmortar and dealt good damage.
"Gyarados use rain dance " said Ash as Gyarados's eyes glowed blue after which black cloud forms which started to rain.
"Rain dance huh," said Paul as he recalled his Magmortar and sends his Electivire.
"Gyarados use roar and then mean look," said Ash after which Gyarados's body becomes outlined in red energy and it howls loudly, releasing invisible circles from its mouth that expand outward. The howl has enough force to almost blow away the Electivire. Electivire then goes into its poké ball and in return Magmortar is out. Gyarados closes its eyes and its body becomes surrounded in a dark purple aura. It then opens its eyes and they glow bright red. The purple aura then rises into the air and forms an eye with a black pupil. The eye then becomes surrounded in a magenta aura, and multiple smaller eyes with a magenta outline appear around it and spread throughout the battlefield. The Magmortar's body then becomes surrounded in a magenta aura.
"Magmortar increase your temperature, " said Paul as Magmortar glowed orange and then temperature of Magmortar raised. Ash can feel the increase in temperature which is vaporizing the rain converting it to steam.
"Nice Paul but it won't stop us, Gyarados use thunder pump, " said Ash that made Paul more concerned. Gyarados opened its jaw and glowed blue at the same time. Gyarados released the stream of water and thunder at the same time, electricity surrounded hydro pump and raced towards Magmortar. Magmortar used protect saving him from the attack, Gyarados charged at Magmortar with aqua jet and Magmortar charged with flame charge, both connected in middle of the battlefield, causing explosion. Gyarados landed back on Ash's side and used water pulse sending wave of water at Magmortar.
"Magmortar use fire spin, " said Paul as Magmortar created tornado of flames around him which evaporated water pulse attack.
"Gyarados, use dragon pulse," said Ash as Gyarados then fired multi color energy in shape of dragon.
"Stop it with overheat," said Paul as Magmortar released stream of flames that connected with dragon pulse, causing explosion.
"Magmortar, thunderbolt " said Paul
"Block it with twister " said Ash
Magmortar released thunderbolt which Gyarados blocked it with twister and launched whirlpool that strike Magmortar drowning him in water. Magmortar then used flamecharge to get itself dry.
Magmortar then charged at Gyarados with thunder punch. Gyarados then used aquatail to
strike Magmortar. Magmortar jumped out of the way and landed on Gyarados's body and ran towards Gyarados's head. Gyarados used aquajet covering himself in water due to which magmortar is also wet. Gyarados then used bounce and flew higher in the air and dived down back towards the field while spinning like a drill. This made Magmortar's head spining after which Gyarados slammed Magmortar on the ground.
Magmortar stood back and used over heat that Gyarados countered with hydro pump. Hydro pump overpowered overheat and made Magmortar crashed into the wall. Magmortar get back once again and then charged at Gyarados with karate chop and thunder punch.
"Gyarados do it, " said Ash as Gyarados let Magmortar come near him and used its tail to grab Magmortar and started to constrict. Magmortar used thunderbolt which Gyarados endured. Meanwhile Gyarados already prepared hyper beam and launched it at Magmortar after throwing him in the air. Hyper beam connected with Magmortar, knocking it out instantly.
Paul silently recalled his Magmortar back and then send his final pokemon which is Electivire. Gyarados slithers back at Ash's side and coiled itself around Ash.
"You did well, but take a rest for a while, " said Ash making Gyarados happy as he recalled it back.
"Electivire go" said Paul
"Infernape, claim your victory " said Ash sending his fire type.Infernape and Electivire glared each other before looking at their trainers.
"Meloe" said Meloetta as she started to cheer for Ash
"Looks like Meloetta is happy, " said Brock
"Yup, she is very happy for Ash's victory," said Misty as Meloetta got invisible
Infernape vs Electivire
With referee signalled to start the battle, Infernape and Electivire charged at each other with wild charge and flame charge. As they both connected in the middle of the battlefield, causing explosion and dust particle rises in the air blocking the view of camera,Ash and Paul.
When dust particle settled, down Infernape can be seen under the grip of Electivire's tentacles. This made Paul smiled for a while until Infernape disappeared with smoke leaving Paul and Electivire confused. All of sudden Infernape came out with fire punch and landed a powerful sky uppercut near Electivire's jaw sending it crashed near Paul
"Now tell me who is strong," said Infernape as he started to taunt Electivire which made him angry.
"Electivire use thunder full power, " said Paul which made Ash smirk
"Infernape take the attack," said Ash
"He is asking Infernape to take the attack. I think he is planning to loose early," said Paul to himself.
As Infernape took the attack, he started to glow yellow.
"Infernape use close combat," said Ash as Infernape disappeared and appeared beside Electivire and landed the powerful punch in Electivire's abdomen making it spit some blood. With that Electivire engulfed in flames.

"Infernape already switched the abilities with Electivire when they clashed earlier. " said Ash as Electivire smget pummeled by Infernape's combat techniques. Infernape jumped and grapped Electivire by legs and then threw it in the air. Electivire balanced itself and landed powerful earthquake which unbalanced Infernape a little bit.
Electivire charged at Infernape with karate chop. Electivire raised its arms and its tried to land it on Infernape but he stopped it with the iron tail and used overheat on close range engulfing Electivire in flames.
"Well it seems Paul is the one who is at disadvantage, " said Dawn as Piplup is cheering for Infernape.
Electivire then used focus blast which infernape deflected with blaze kick sending focus blast back at Electivire. Electivire used thunderbolt to destroy it and used quick attack. Infernape also used quick attack and both of them engaged in battle of pure strength.
Infernape used all of his strength and grabbed Electivire by his arms and threw him off. Electivire used his body weight to balance itself and Electivire hits both of its tails into the ground and uses thunder, sending large pieces of rock flying at the Infernape. Infernape used close combat to defelect every piece of rock away from him. Taking the advantage of.the distraction Electivire used psychic, his newly learned move. Infernape is now under the grip of the Electivire.
"It seems Electivire played its trump move, " said announcer
"What you have to say Ketchum," asked Paul
"You really underestimated me Paul, " said Ash as Infernape glowed dark and released himself from psychic grip.
"How, " asked Paul
"Infernape trained with my psychic type to break the attack. Now Infernape, use fire pledge, " said Ash as columns flames erupts and surrounded Electivire and then columns merged into one dealing good damage on Electivire.
"Now Infernape use overheat, " said Ash as Infernape's head flame becomes brighter and then launched powerful stream of flames.
"Protect" said Paul as Electivire created dome of energy around him. Infernape then used double team which Electivire countered with his own version of counter shield which destroyed all copies. All of sudden sunlight got brighter, causing the rise in termperature and Infernape launched solar beam. Electivire countered it with charge beam, causing explosion.
Electivire and Infernape then charged at each other with wild charge and flare blitz, giving each other equal competition. Post that battle between the two continued for next twenty minutes which not only engaged the audience but it improved the rating of the league battle.
Infernape charged at Electivire with power up punch and Electivire used focus punch, sending shockwave of energy across the stadium. Electivire used its tentacles and grabbed Infernape.This time Electivire released all of his electricity deposite at one go, Infernape put his tail under the battlefield grounding all the excess electricity and activating motor drive and as a result.
As Electivire is resting the flames on Infernape head grows brighter and then a beam of energy released in the air, flames erupt from under the ground beneath Infernape. Infernape then launched massive stream of flames at Electivire who blocked it with protect, flames got intensified and destroyed the battlefield around Electivire resulting into explosion. When dust and smoke disappeared, the surface of the battle field is in melted state.
Infernape then used flare blitz full power and Electivire used wildcharge. When both of them collided a massive tornado of flames and thunder formed. Infernape then appeared behind Electivire and then explosion happened. Electivire and Infernape can be seen standing opposite to each other. Electivire is surrounded in red static electricity.
"Elect " said Electivire as he taunted Infernape
"What, Electivire can battle, " asked Dawn in shock
"Electivire is Paul's ace pokemon and he won't be going down that easily " said Brock
Electivire then released thunder and Infernape used dig which was the biggest mistake. As Infernape came out, Electivire grabbed him by neck and started to squeeze it. Infernape can't breathe now, Electivire then used hammer arm on Infernape's skull and focus blast before throwing him in the air and fired hyper beam that knocked Infernape on the battlefield.
Electivire walked towards Infernape and started to crush his head with its leg.
"What you say huh. Look who is weak now. Your problem is that you consider yourself as powerful but in reality you are weak." said Electivire as all of sudden Infernape.used flame charge and flames engulfed Electivire making Infernape free. Infernape's eyes opened and he screamed loud as he released a massive fire stream towards paul's Electivire engulfing him completely.
"Infernape finish this use blast burn" said Ash as infernape's head flame glowed bright and then he formed a ball of fire massive in size,
having diameter of twenty feet and launched at Paul's Electivire
"Electivire " said Paul's Electivire who tried to push the blast burn back at Ash's infernape.
"Infernape push blast burn and then use close combat to finish him" said Ash as Infernape surrounded in flame vortex and pushed the blast burn at Electivire that leads to explosion sending Paul's Electivire flying in the air knocking it out instantly.
