"I know Deoxys is strong because I met Deoxys two times during my journey through Hoenn region. If you are totally depending on Deoxys's regenerative capabilities then you are wrong. " said Ash
"Not bad," said Tobias as Ash sends his Sceptile
"I should have brought Gengar with me, his ability to travel through dimension could be handy. But, I can defeat Deoxys , I just need little patience" thought Ash
"Sceptile, let's defeat the Deoxys. Are you ready" asked Ash
"Yes " said Sceptile as leaf on his arms started to glow green.
"Sceptile vs Deoxys let the battle begin" said referee
Sceptile vs Deoxys
"Deoxys attack" said Tobias as Deoxys changed into its attack form and fired psycho boost, a multicolored orb with central part releasing electricity.
"Sceptile show them your real speed and then attack with night slash" said Ash as Sceptile
used agility to dodge the attack and jumped in the air which seems like a blur.Leaf on Sceptile's arm.is glowing with dark energy and just before Sceptile could attack Deoxys it changed into speed form and disappeared from the view and landed a criticaldrain punch that send Sceptile crashing towards the field. Sceptile then did backflip and landed on both legs and yellow spheres on its back started to glow yellow before firing solar beam.
Deoxys then changed in its defense form and then used protect saving it from the solar beam and then changed in speed form to appear behind Sceptile with focus blast. Sceptile sensed the Deoxys and used tail that striked focus blast sending it away. Deoxys then used teleport and landed critical fire punch. Deoxys then telepprted away and used fire punch once again. Sceptile then covered in flames making it cry in pain.
Deoxys then teleported above Sceptile and then used telekinesis making it cover in psychic energy. Sceptile is in the psychic grip of Deoxys who launched hyper beam knocking Sceptile in the field in the center of the crater created due to battle between Lucario and Mewtwo.
"Deoxys use recover," said Tobias
"We can play the game, use Synthesis " said Ash as bulb on Sceptile's back glowed white. Once Sceptile gained lost health he hsed solar beam that Deoxys blocked with protect. Deoxys teleported away, just before Deoxys can use teleport ,Sceptile created a wall of leaf tornado and mafical leaf around it but it wasn't enough to stop Deoxys. Deoxys passed through wall of leaf and striked Sceptile. As soon as Sceptile got hit by fire punch it disappeared into smoke and then solar beam hit Deoxys sending it crashed on the field.
"A successful hit by Sceptile. Will Sceptile be able to defeat Deoxys," said announcer
"Not bad, all of your pokemon impressed me. You have trained them well Ash" said Tobias as he ordered Deoxys to use telekinesis.
"Sceptile break it and use dragon pulse " said
Ash. Sceptile used its will power and break the telekinesis and prepared the dragon pulse. Just before Sceptile could launch the attack,Deoxys used speed form and used ice beam freezing
Sceptile in block of ice. Sceptile used his strength to break free from it and used double team to confuse the Deoxys.
Deoxys flew higher in the air and its body glowed blue making all copies covered in telekinesis and started to float in the air. Deoxys then fired multiple psycho boost that hit every copies including original copies, causing explosion. Sceptile then fell on the ground with cuts and bruises on its body.
Sceptile got up and used synthesis getting his lost health back. Deoxys then used his attack form and launched dark pulse. Sceptile jumped
towards Deoxys with agility and aerial ace. With night slash already prepared he is ready to attack Deoxys. Deoxys used teleport making Sceptile missed its target. Deoxys then binded Sceptile with its tentacles and teleported into space.
On other side Rayquaza is guarding the earth. As soon as Rayquaza saw Deoxys he is ready to attack it with hyper beam.
"Don't interfere in my matter, this is an official battle between my trainer and this Sceptile's trainer. I meant no harm to the earth" said Deoxys after which Rayquaza left Deoxys in peace.
"I have to act like I am fainted. This is the best way for Deoxys to take me back earth," thought Sceptile as he started to act as if he is fainted due to lack of oxygen.
Deoxys look for Sceptile's vital signs and once it is assured it took Sceptile and then teleported in front of the Ash with fainted Sceptile.
"Sceptile no" said Ash. Once Sceptile heard Ash's voice he opened its eyes and used synthesis again.
" Deoxys took me to space so that I can faint from lack of oxygen. But I faked my fainting and the it took me back to earth. Deoxys didn't know that we trained in such environment as well" said Sceptile
"Quick thinking, now use agility into dragon claw " said Ash as Sceptile used double team and then all copies charged at Deoxys with dragon claw. Deoxys used defense form and then used protect and then telekinesis. Sceptile then used focus punch to break protect shield.
Deoxys changed into speed forme and tried to escape but this time Sceptile lunged at Deoxys grabbing it successfully. Deoxys is trying to shake Sceptile off but Sceptile is holding it tighter. Sceptile is preparing the solar beam, Deoxys is flying in the air and trying to shake Sceptile off. Sceptile then launched solar beam on close range which dealt good damage.
"Sceptile, use grass whistle" said Ash but this attack is also failed as Deoxys used protect.
"Sceptile return for now, " said Ash but Sceptile denied.
"Ok then, use aerial ace into dual chop" said Ash as Sceptile charged at Deoxys with aerial ace and claws glowing white. Deoxys used seed form to avoid the attack. Sceptile used detect to the actual position of Deoxys and used double team to appear in front of Deoxys and tried to land dual chop. Deoxys used it's tentacles to grab both arms of Sceptile. Sceptile used substitute to get free from Deoxys's grip and appeared behind Deoxys and used shadow ball on its back, causing explosion.Sceptile then launched barrage of energy ball on Deoxys. Deoxys used its tentacles to stop energy ball and took Sceptile on grip of telekinesis and fired hyper beam that knocked Sceptile on the field, causing explosion.
"Scep" said Sceptile as he stood on his legs and glared the Deoxys who is floating in the air. Deoxys flew higher and launched massive hyper beam this time. Sceptile used solar beam which connected with hyper beam and used all his strength to push it back at Deoxys. Deoxys is trying hard to push its attack back to Sceptile.
Deoxys's eyes glowed blue and hyper beam got more powerful and overpowered solar beam and hit Sceptile, causing explosion. When smoke clears, Sceptile is standing still.
"Sceptile is still fine. How strong is it" thought Tobias
"Deoxys use giga impact," said Tobias
Deoxys surrounded in energy of giga impact and then charged at Sceptile. Just before Deoxys could hit Sceptile, giant roots to come out of the ground and strike the Deoxys. Mometum from giga impact throws Deoxys crashed on the battlefield. Sceptile then came out with dragon pulse and launched it at Deoxys that caused explosion.
Everyone is waiting for the result of the battle.
Sceptile is also waiting if his attack is successful or not. To his disappointment, Deoxys floated back in the air with psychic. Residuals of destroyed battlefield also surrounding it. Deoxys used psychic to throw residuals at Sceptile who dodged it with agility.
"Deoxys use full power telekinesis, " said Tobias as Deoxys rised in the air and its eyes glowed blue. The psychic energy engulfed battlefield and then it started to tear up the battlefield.Big chunk of battlefield started to rise in the air which gave Sceptile an opening. Just before
Sceptile could use its attack, all pieces of battlefield thrown at him. Covered in the rocks, Sceptile can't do anything. Deoxys then used its psychic energy to slam Sceptile on the field dealing good damage and then fired massive hyper beam. Sceptile break free from the attack and evaded hyper beam on time and tried to slash Deoxys with night slash.
As Sceptile is charging at Deoxys it tried to use telekinesis.But thanks to protect armor, telekinesis failed and Sceptile reached near Deoxys. Just before Deoxys can be hit by night slash, it used its speed to evade the attack and fired psycho boost that striked Sceptile.
"I have to do something to stop Deoxys in its track,. What if, I could find an opening, there should be a time when Deoxys is changing its form. The transformation takes place in milliseconds and I need that time " thought Sceptile
"Are you thinking the same thing that I am thinking," asked Ash to Sceptile to which he nodded
Sceptile fired energy ball which Deoxys stopped by taking the defence form.Sceptile then used aerial ace as Deoxys evaded the attack by using speed form. This happened until Sceptile geot the idea of how long it takes for Deoxys to change form and continued to attack and evade the attack.
"Leave it Ash, this won't work," said Tobias as he ordered Deoxys to attack. As soon as Deoxys started to change form, Sceptile use agility and aerial ace combo to strike directly on Deoxys's chest dealing great damage and from that point he kept increasing pressure by landing continuous hits.
"I really like you and your pokemon stubbornness. " thought Tobias
"Keep up the pressure, use giga grain " said Ash as Sceptile landed critical attack that drained Deoxys energy.
"Now aim at the chest, use " said Ash as Sceptile already used full power focus blast on the central part on the chest where crystal is located. As soon as focus blast exploded, it sends Deoxys crashed on the field.
Deoxys glowed blue and levitated in the air before using recover and opened its eyes and send wave of telekinesis that teared up everything apart. Sceptile and Ash crashed into the wall. Just before Sceptile could use synthesis, Deoxys fired hyper beam. Secptile jumped in front of Ash and used protec
stopped hyperbeam and then used synthesis.
"You are going down, I swear it. " said Sceptile as it started to glow green and then surrounded in swirling tornado of leaf
"We are one and we will win this as a team. Sceptile let's show the world what we can do it," said Ash as Sceptile nodded as he fired bullet seed. Deoxys evaded the attack using teleport and came behind Sceptile with fire punch. Kust before fire punch could connect with Sceptile, he used double team and appear behind Deoxys and landed x-scissor on close range that dealt good damage.
Sceptile then grabbed Deoxys and then fired close range solar beam. Sceptile took Deoxys while maintaining grip on Deoxys and then used seismic toss. Deoxys teleported out of Sceptile's grip and fired psycho boost. Sceptile detected the attack and used night slash to destroy it. As Deoxys used teleport to attack Sceptile, Sceptile used doubleteam while preparing the solar beam and launched it at Deoxys when it came in the range. Deoxys used defense form to save itself from attack. Sceptile used leaf tornadon around it before disappearing under ground.Deoxys when changed to the normal form it started to look for the Sceptile.
"It seems, Sceptile disappeared from the field," said announcer as everyone started to look for the Sceptile. All of sudden, a massive beam solar energy hit Deoxys from above.
"That's solar beam, but where does it came from" asked announcer as solar beam started to get stronger until it destroyed battlefield
completely, causing explosion. Sceptile then landed in front of Ash.
"Hey Sceptile, wanna take rest." asked Ash but Sceptile denied.
"Don't push yourself hard," said Ash but Sceptile has one policy and one rule. Don't return until you defeat your opponent. When smoke clears there stood Deoxys who is glaring at Sceptile.
"Enough of you. You have to surrender" said Deoxys
"Never " said Sceptile as he disappeared and then appeared near Deoxys with focus blast and shadow ball and pushed both orbs into Deoxys's chest. Once focus blast and shadow ball exploded, Sceptile used night slash on Deoxys's throat, causing another explosion.
"Scep" said Sceptile as he landed on Ash's side, waiting for the result. Just before Sceptile and Ash could react, Deoxys came behind Sceptile and launched hyper beam from core present in the chest at close range. Sceptile quickly used double team to avoid hyper beam and used hyperbeam followed by night slash and shadow ball that weakened Deoxys and then used dragon pulse
"You won," said Deoxys as it fainted due to excess power usage.
"Deoxys is unable to battle, Sceptile wins" said referee after which Sceptile fell down on his knees.
"Hey Sceptile, you did an amazing job. Proud on yourself that you defeated legendary pokemon." said Ash at which Sceptile smiled and drifted to sleep.
"Return for now," said Ash as he recalled his pokemon.
"With Ash defeating all of Tobias's pokemon, he is the official winner of the Vertress Conference and is eligible to challenge elite four of Unova region and champion Alder anytime " said announcer
"We did it, we finally did it" said Ash as he fell on the field too. Tobias walked up to Ash
"You surprised me Ash. Your team surprised me more than anyone in the league" said Tobias
