Writers note: life gets in the way when you want to write I'm going to keep trying to put more chapters up but its taking a while for a bit I couldn't think how I wanted to write the next few chapters.
Connor took a run up to the edge of the hole and then used the wall to spring over to the other side rolling as he landed. He quickly turned just as Katie's hands slipped he dove for the hole reaching for Katie.
For Katie everything seemed to slow down, she felt her hands slip off the edge of the boards she could see Connor above and the look of panic on his face he was reaching for her.
Connor managed to grab the tips of Katie's left hand fingers and quickly reached down with his other hand to secure her wrist there was a loud popping noise and Katie screamed Connor stood and pulled Katie up on to the hallways floor "Are you alright Lieutenant McKenzie?" Connor asked as he began scanning her.
"I'll be alright, just shaken up glad to be on solid ground, I think you dislocated my shoulder though" Katie stammered out holding on to her left shoulder with her right hand.
Connor nodded "yes when I caught your wrist the down pull has dislocated your shoulder I can correct it if you want or we can wait for the EMS, it will be painful" Connor asked
Katie thought for a moment "how long will the EMS be?" Connors LED turned yellow for a couple of seconds before turning back blue "approximately an hour and a half there has been a major car crash twelve blocks from here"
Katie nodded "alright let's get this done, we still have to check the rest of the house for the drug cartel or at least evidence" Katie sat up on her knees so that she was in a better spot for Connor to fix her shoulder.
"Alright I'm going to rotate your shoulder clockwise and push down to pop your shoulder back in, you may want to chew on something to avoid biting your tongue" Connor said Katie nodded and pulled a stick of gum out of her pocket, putting it in to chew on she gave Connor a thumbs up.
Connor placed one hand on top of her left shoulder and held her arm with the other. HE then rotated her arm and shoulder and as he felt it come into place he pushed down on her joint to pop it back in Katie screamed in pain.
"I'm sorry about the pain Lieutenant McKenzie but I couldn't have fixed it any other way" Connor said holding a hand out for her to take to get up off the floor.
"it's alright Connor, we have to finish what we started" Katie said as she got up with Connors help she looked over at Hank who was white as a sheet and leaning against the wall "Hank are you alright?" Katie asked.
"fuck no! I nearly saw you fall through the floor into an unknown basement, if you're father hears about this I'm a dead man" Hank spluttered out.
