Yellow's eyes opened. Why hadn't the bullets hit her? She looked around to see that the bullets were gone. Yellow looked towards Flowey in confusion when suddenly, a fireball flew at him, knocking the flower away.

"What a miserable creature" a female voice said. "Torturing such a poor, innocent youth"

Yellow and Chuchu looked up to see a goat-like creature, dawning purple robes approach them. Yellow scooted back a bit. The goat spoke again.

"Do not be afraid, my child. I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. I come down here every day to see if anyone has fallen. It has been a long time since a human has arrived. Come, I will guide you through the catacombs.

Toriel reached out one of her hands, or paws, for Yellow to take. Reluctantly, Yellow grabbed the paw, and stood up.

Yellow followed Toriel into a purple room that had a set of stairs on each side of the room. In the middle was a pile of leaves. In front of the pile was a strange star. Yellow pressed it and heard a voice.

"The shadow of the ruins looms above, filling you with determination."

Yellow was then given an option to SAVE or LOAD. She chose SAVE. Yellow then went upstairs and followed Toriel into the next room.

The room Yellow entered was purple, like the last one, however, it also had six buttons on the floor. It also had a closed door, and a switch on the wall beside it. Toriel spoke.

"Welcome to your new home, innocent one. Allow me to educate you in the oper of the RUINS"

"The Ruins are full of puzzles. However, you are not ready to do them yet. But do not worry, my child, I shall teach you. Teaching is sort of a hobby of mine. It may come as a bit of a surprise, but I have always wanted to be a teacher. Perhaps I could give you some tu-TORIELs!"

Toriel laughed, "You see, because it is my name."

Yellow laughed, realizing the pun Toriel had made. "Oh, I get it! Good one!"

Toriel finished laughing and cleared her throat, "Now then, where was I? Oh yes!"

Toriel proceeded to step on four buttons, ignoring the two middle ones. She then flipped the switch, and the door opened.

"Come, my child. There are many more puzzles that await us."

The next room was a long hallway. The walls had vines on them, as well as switches. The doorway on the other side of the hall was blocked by spikes. Yellow assumed that she had to pull a switch. Thankfully, there were two switches that had arrows pointing to them, meaning those switches were the ones to make the spikes go away. Yellow and Chuchu pulled the switches, and sure enough, the spikes went down.

"Very good, my child," Toriel complemented.

They then went into the next room.

Chuchu ran ahead, and almost bumped into a giant spike. In fact, there were a lot of spikes.

" Hm, I believe this one maybe too extreme," Toriel said. "Hold my hand, and I will guide you."

Yellow did as she was told. Toriel guided Yellow through the spikes, not stepping on the wrong one at all. Soon, they were at the other side.

The next room was another long hallway. Toriel turned to Yellow.

"My child, I would like you to walk to the end of the hall by yourself."

Toriel turned around and walked away. Yellow then proceeded to walk to the end of the hall, but couldn't see Toriel anywhere. Chuchu pointed to a lone pillar. Toriel stepped out from behind it.

"Do not worry, my child, I was just behind this pillar. I have not left you. The purpose of this was to test your independence, in case we ever get separated. I must go attend to some things. Please wait here. If you need anything, do not hesitate to call me on this cellphone."

She then handed Yellow an old cellphone.

"Ok mom," Yellow responded, then froze when she realized what she had said.

"Did you just...call me mom?" Toriel questioned.

"Sorry…" Yellow said quietly.

"It is quite alright my child," Toriel said. "You may call me mother if you want."

Toriel walked off.
