The Journey Has Only Just Begun
"If you truly wish to leave the RUINS…" Toriel said, "I will not stop you."
Yellow smiled. "Thank you for finally understanding."
Toriel continued, "However, when you leave, please, do not come back."
Yellow looked down. "I understand."
Toriel gave Yellow a hug.
"Thank you. I promise, we will see each other again," Yellow promised.
Toriel stood up. "Goodbye, my child." She then walked away.
Yellow looked over at an exhausted Rainy and smiled. "Thank you Rainy. Take a nice rest."
She then returned Rainy to his Pokeball, and then opened the door.
"Come on Chuchu."
The two walked down a long, straight hallway, talking about what just happened. They entered a room that looked like the room they first entered after they fell, when Chuchu's cheeks started sparking.
"What's wrong Chuchu?" Yellow asked her companion.
Yellow then noticed why her Pikachu was so aggravated. In the center of the room stood a very familiar flower.
"You!" Yellow exclaimed.
"Clever," Flowey said. "Verrrryyy clever. You think you're really smart, don't you?"
"What do you know?" Yellow asked.
"In this world, it's kill or be killed," Flowey reminded. "So, you were able to play by your own rules." Flowey's face turned evil. "You spared the life of a single person. Hee hee hee. I bet you feel really great. You didn't kill anybody this time."
"This time?" Yellow wondered. "What does he mean by that?"
Flowey continued. "But what will you do if you meet a relentless killer? You'll die, and you'll die, and you'll die. Until you tire of trying. What will you do then? Will you kill out of frustration? Or will you give up entirely on this world… and let me inherit the power to control it? I am the prince of this world's future. Don't worry, my little monarch, my plan isn't regicide. This is SO much more interesting."
Yellow glared at the flower. "I'll prove you wrong!"
Flowey laughed evilly. "Not killing anyone? That's a wonderful idea!" He then went underground.
As Yellow and Chuchu continued to walk, Chuchu gave her trainer a worried look.
"Don't worry Chuchu," Yellow reassured, "We're not going to kill anyone."
They then approached another door.
Yellow took a deep breath. "Well, the rest of the underground awaits."
She pushed the door open.
