Author's Note: This is the start of the Snowdin Town arc. It's only going to be a few chapters. Also, shoutout to GachaMHCreator. Their comment made my day.
Yellow and Chuchu were greeted by a huge sign that said "WELCOME TO SNOWDIN". They immediately knew that they were in a town. They walked up between two buildings and to another mysterious star, which Yellow had decided to call Save Stars.
The sight of such a friendly town fills you with determination.
Yellow saved.
Yellow saw many monsters, some of which looked like rabbits. One of them looked like they had their sibling on a leash. There was also a blue polar bear in an orange jacket by a Christmas tree. On the other side of the tree stood a small armless monster that kind of reminded Yellow of the Pokemon Scraggy.
Yellow approached the monster.
"Yo! You must be new here. Welcome to Snowdin Town!"
Yellow thanked the young monster and continued walking.
Yellow passed by a place called Grillby's. Looking in the window, she could tell it was a restaurant. She also saw other monsters such as another bear, a tiny mouse in a very long scarf, and a monster that almost looked like the devil. There was also a library that was for some reason spelled "Librarby".
Finally, Yellow passed by a large wooden house with some Christmas decorations and a pirate flag. There were also two mailboxes. One of them was empty, while the other looked like it had never been checked, it was filled with letters, some even on the ground.
After Yellow passed the shed next to the house, it suddenly started to get really foggy.
"Chuchu? Are you still next to me?" Yellow called out to her partner. Chuchu hopped on Yellow's shoulder, to avoid getting lost.
It was getting harder and harder to see anything as the fog grew. However, Yellow started to see someone. As she got closer, she started to recognize the figure. It was Papyrus!
"Hi Papyrus," Yellow spoke. "Fancy seeing you in all of this fog."
"I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU!" Papyrus replied.
"Oh, well, here I am!" Yellow replied.
Papyrus took a deep breath before continuing in a calm tone.
"HUMAN." He began. "ALLOW ME TO TELL YOU ABOUT SOME...COMPLEX FEELINGS. FEELINGS LIKE… THE JOY OF FINDING ANOTHER PASTA LOVER. THE ADMIRATION FOR ANOTHER'S PUZZLE-SOLVING SKILLS. THE DESIRE TO HAVE A COOL, SMART PERSON THINK YOU'RE COOL. THESE FEELINGS…"
Papyrus switched back to his normal excited tone.
"THEY MUST BE WHAT YOU'RE FEELING RIGHT NOW! I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT IT MUST BE LIKE TO FEEL THAT WAY. AFTER ALL, I AM VERY GREAT. I DON'T EVER WONDER WHAT HAVING LOTS OF FRIENDS IS LIKE. I PITY YOU, LONELY HUMAN."
"Oh I'm not lonely," Yellow replied. "I have lots of friends."
"OH, FORGIVE ME FOR ASSUMING." Papyrus apologized.
"That's ok," Yellow said. "You didn't know."
"THEN YOU SHALL HAVE ANOTHER! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL BE YOUR…" Papyrus continued before abruptly stopping.
"Is everything all right?" Yellow questioned.
"NO…" Papyrus replied. Yellow looked concerned.
"NO, THIS IS ALL WRONG! I CAN'T BE YOUR FRIEND! YOU'RE A HUMAN!"
Yellow frowned as Papyrus continued.
"I MUST CAPTURE YOU! THEN, I CAN FULFILL MY LIFELONG DREAM! POWERFUL! POPULAR! PRESTIGIOUS! THAT'S PAPYRUS! THE NEWEST MEMBER...OF THE ROYAL GUARD!"
Yellow suddenly entered a fight.
