Author's Note: 2 chapters in one day?! Yep! I have time. So here's another chapter. It may be short though.
Right as the fight ended, the for cleared up.
"NYOO HOO HOO…" Papyrus cried.
"Are you ok Papyrus?" Yellow asked.
"I CAN'T EVEN STOP SOMEONE AS WEAK AS YOU…" Papyrus replied. "UNDYNE'S GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED IN ME. I'LL NEVER JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD… AND...MY FRIEND QUANTITY WILL REMAIN STAGNANT!"
"Cheer up," Yellow said. "I'm sure your dreams will come true someday! Besides, I'll be your friend."
Papyrus seemed to cheer up at that statement.
"REALLY?! YOU WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH ME?"
"Yeah!" Yellow replied
"WELL THEN…" Papyrus said. "I GUESS… I GUESS I CAN MAKE AN ALLOWANCE FOR YOU! WOWIE! WE HAVEN'T EVEN HAD OUR FIRST DATE YET, AND I'VE ALREADY MANAGED TO HIT THE FRIEND ZONE! WHO KNEW THAT ALL I NEEDED TO MAKE FRIENDS WAS TO GIVE THEM AWFUL PUZZLES AND THEN FIGHT THEM? YOU TAUGHT ME A LOT, HUMAN. I HEREBY GRANT YOU PERMISSION TO PASS THROUGH! AND I'LL GIVE YOU DIRECTIONS TO THE SURFACE."
"Really?" Yellow said. "That's so nice of you. How do I get there?"
"CONTINUE FORWARD UNTIL YOU REACH THE END OF THE CAVERN." Papyrus directed. "THEN… WHEN YOU REACH THE CAPITAL, CROSS THE BARRIER."
Yellow knew that getting to the capital wouldn't be as easy as Papyrus said.
"THE BARRIER IS THE MAGIC SEAL TRAPPING US MONSTERS UNDERGROUND." Papyrus continued. "ANYTHING CAN ENTER THROUGH IT, BUT NOTHING CAN EXIT… EXCEPT FOR SOMEONE WITH A POWERFUL SOUL… LIKE YOU! THAT'S WHY THE KING WANTS TO ACQUIRE A HUMAN. HE WANTS TO OPEN THE BARRIER WITH SOUL POWER. THEN US MONSTERS CAN RETURN TO THE SURFACE!"
"So that's why they want to kill me." Yellow thought to herself.
"OH, I ALMOST FORGOT TO TELL YOU." Papyrus said. "TO REACH THE EXIT, YOU WILL HAVE TO PASS THROUGH THE KING'S CASTLE. THE KING OF ALL MONSTERS… HE IS… WELL… HE'S A BIG FUZZY PUSHOVER! EVERYBODY LOVES THAT GUY! I AM CERTAIN IF YOU JUST SAY… "EXCUSE ME, MR. DREEMURR… CAN I PLEASE GO HOME?" HE'LL GUIDE YOU RIGHT TO THE SURFACE HIMSELF! ANYWAY! THAT'S ENOUGH TALKING! I'LL BE AT HOME BEING A COOL FRIEND! FEEL FREE TO COME BY AND HAVE THAT DATE! NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!"
Papyrus leapt and practically flew over Yellow.
Yellow turned towards Chuchu, who was now on her shoulder.
"He has a lot to learn about friendship." She said.
"Pika." Chuchu nodded.
They then started walking the way they came.
