Author's Note: Sorry for no recent chapters. I'm back at school in person full time, so I don't have much free time. This chapter will again be short-ish. I know I said I wouldn't include minibosses, aside from Napstablook, but this boss is important.
As Yellow trudged through the water, while looking at what kind of trash was there (she found a DVD case for an anime) she passed by a dummy. She waved at it, and continued forward. Little did she know, she just made a slight mistake.
Yellow heard a splash. She quickly turned around and saw the dummy had vanished. She heard another splash. She turned around and saw that the dummy was floating right in front of her. And it looked mad.
"Uh...hi?" Yellow said nervously, unsure of why the dummy was glaring at her.
The dummy gave an evil laugh. "Too intimidated to fight me, huh?!"
Yellow was confused. Why couldn't the dummy just ask for a fight?
The dummy continued. "I am a ghost that lives inside a dummy. My cousin used to live inside a dummy, too. UNTIL YOU CAME ALONG!"
Yellow realized that the dummy was talking about the Ruins dummy.
"When you talked to them, they thought they were in for a nice chat... But the things you SAID...! Horrible. Shocking! UNBELIEVABLE! It spooked them right out of their dummy! HUMAN! I'll scare your SOUL out of your body!" The dummy said, before laughing maniacally, then engaging Yellow in a fight.
Mad Dummy blocks the way
Yellow checked the dummy's stats.
Mad Dummy- ATK 30 DEF YES
Because they're a ghost, physical attacks will fail. No one is happy with this.
"Futile. Futile! FUTILE!" Mad Dummy screamed.
Several dummies appeared and attacked Yellow, who was able to dodge. Yellow then ran behind the dummy, so that his friends' attacks would hit him instead.
"OWWWW, you DUMMIES! Watch where you're aiming your MAGIC attacks! ... Hey! You! Forget I said anything about MAGIC!" He screamed.
Mad Dummy is looking nervous
"I'll defeat you and take your SOUL!" He declared.
The dummies attacked again, only to hit the Mad Dummy, who was too busy saying what he'll do after he takes Yellow's soul.
"I'll use your soul to cross the barrier! I'll stand in the window of a fancy store! THEN EVERYTHING I WANT WILL BE MINE"
"Then what?" Yellow asked, as Mad Dummy got attacked by his friends again.
"Huh? Yeah, I guess then I'll avenge my cousin." Mad Dummy answered. "What was their name again...? Whatever. Whatever! WHATEVER!"
The dummies attacked him again, and he lost it.
"HEY GUYS! Dummies. Dummies! DUMMIES! Remember how I said NOT to shoot at me? Well... FAILURES! YOU'RE FIRED! YOU'RE ALL BEING REPLACED! Hahaha. Hahaha! HAHAHA! Now you'll see my true power: Relying on people that aren't garbage!"
Suddenly, robots appeared.
"DUMMY BOTS! MAGIC MISSILE!" Mad Dummy ordered.
Yellow was able to make the missiles attack Mad Dummy.
"DUMMY BOTS! TRY AGAIN!" Mad Dummy declared, only for the same outcome to happen.
Mad Dummy is hopping mad.
"DUMMY BOTS! You're awful?"
Mad Dummy announced one final attack, only to get hit again.
"(N... no way!) (These guys are even WORSE than the other guys!) Who cares. Who cares! WHO CARES! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS!" Mad Dummy pulled out a knife. "I'VE GOT KNIVES!"
He threw it at Yellow, who ducked.
"I'm... Out of knives." Mad Dummy said. "BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU CAN'T HURT ME AND I CAN'T HURT YOU! YOU'LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME... Forever. Forever! FOREVER! AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
It suddenly began raining
"Wh...What the heck is this!? Ergh! Acid rain!? Oh, FORGET IT! I'm outta here!"
Mad Dummy left, and Napstablook appeared.
"... sorry, I interrupted you, didn't I? as soon as I came over, your friend immediately left...oh no... you guys looked like you were having fun...oh no... I just wanted to say hi... oh no..."
Yellow told Napstablook what had just happened, and how he actually saved her. The ghost gave a soft smile and invited Yellow to his house.
On the way over, Yellow used a Save Star.
You feel a calming tranquility. You're filled with determination.
