After that strange encounter, Yellow and Chuchu began to walk through the rest of Waterfall. They met many creatures such as one called Onion-San, who basically looked like a giant onion with tentacles, and a kind face.

Eventually, they came across a long bridge. When they got to the end, they heard a familiar voice.

"Yo!"

Yellow and Chuchu turned around to see Monster Kid running towards them.

"Hey there." Yellow said. "Thanks for looking after Chuchu for me."

"No problem." Monster Kid said. "Anything for a friend. Although speaking of that, listen, I know I'm not supposed to be here, but... I want to ask you something."

"Shoot." Yellow responded

Monster Kid continued " Man, I never had to ask anyone this before... yo... you're a human, right?"

Yellow looked down, afraid of what Monster Kid would think. All she could do was nod.

Monster Kid chuckled. "Man! I knew it!... well, I know it now, I mean... Undyne told me, um, "Stay away from the human!" So like, umm... I guess that makes us enemies or something. But I kind of stink at that. Yo, could you say something mean so I can hate you? Please?"

Yellow shook her head. " I could never do that."

"Yo." Monster Kid said "Do I have to do it? Okay, here goes nothing... Yo, I... I hate your guts. Man, I... I'm such a turd. I'm going to go home now."

Monster Kid started to walk away, when he tripped and fell off of the bridge, hanging on the edge with his mouth for dear life.

"Yo, w-w- wait! help! I tripped!"

"Oh no!" Yellow shouted, and ran to help the kid, but froze when she saw Undyne, who also saw Monster Kid. They both ran to save him, with Yellow getting there first and pulling him up.

Undyne began to walk closer, but Monster Kid ran in front of Yellow.

"Y...y...yo...dude...If...If y-you wanna hurt my friend... you're going to have to get through me first!" Monster Kid said, shaking.

Without saying anything, Undyne backed off.

"She's gone…" Monster Kid said. " Yo, you really saved my skin. I guess being enemies was just a nice thought, haha. We'll just have to be friends instead."

Yellow smiled. " I like that."

"Man... I should really go home." Monster Kid said. " I bet my parents are worried sick about me! Later, dude!"

Yellow and Chuchu waved goodbye to Monster Kid as he walked home, and then continued on.
