Author's note: Finally a new chapter. I've been procrastinating again. But guess what? Today is Yellowtale's first anniversary!
Undyne swiped her spear above Yellow's soul, turning it green.
"En garde!" she shouted.
"We don't have to fight!" Yellow pleaded, but Undyne had none of it.
"As long as your soul is green, you can't escape!" Undyne said. "Unless you learn to face danger head on..."
Undyne sent spears towards Yellow, which were deflected by Chuchu's Iron Tail.
"Good job Chuchu." Yellow told her partner.
Spears came at Yellow from every direction, which Chuchu deflected with ease.
"You won't last a second against me!" Undyne remarked.
Undyne slid her finger across her neck, which unsettled Yellow.
"For years, we've dreamed of a happy ending…" Undyne said.
Chuchu deflected more spears as Undyne continued.
"And now, sunlight is just within our reach! I won't let you snatch it away from us!"
Yellow grabbed an incoming spear, and used it to help Chuchu deflect other spears.
"NGAHHH!" Undyne shouted. "Enough warming up!"
Suddenly, Yellow's soul returned to normal, allowing her to move.
"Now's my chance!" She thought.
Yellow ran past Undyne and towards Hotland.
"Hey! Get back here!" Undyne yelled.
Undyne caught up to Yellow, and told her that she was doing her a favor, that no human has ever gotten past Asgore, and that Yellow being killed would be an act of mercy. Yellow escaped, only to be caught again. This time, she was hit a few times.
Yellow managed to escape again. She threw a Pokeball containing her Zebstrika, Blitz. She hopped on it and sped away.
Yellow's phone rang. She answered. "Hello?"
Papyrus was on the other line. "HEY! WHAT'S UP?! I WAS JUST THINKING… YOU, ME, AND UNDYNE SHOULD ALL HANG OUT SOMETIME! I THINK YOU WOULD MAKE GREAT PALS!"
Yellow looked behind her. Undyne was still giving chase.
"Maybe." Yellow responded.
"THEN LET'S MEET UP AT HER HOUSE LATER!" Papyrus said, before hanging up.
"Stop running away!" Undyne shouted.
Yellow ran by a sentry post. Sitting there was Kirlia and a sleeping Sans. Kirlia waved at Yellow. Undyne stopped and glared at Sans, then continued the chase.
After crossing a bridge, Undyne collapsed from the heat. Yellow got a cup of water from a nearby water cooler and poured it on Undyne to cool her off.
Undyne stood up, looked at Yellow, and then walked away muttering "I hate Hotland."
Yellow thanked Blitz and returned it to its Pokeball. She then saw a boat, and took it to Waterfall. The Riverperson, the cloaked figure operating the boat, told Yellow something cryptic.
"Tra la la. Beware of the man who speaks in hands."
Yellow and Chuchu got off once they reached their destination, and went to look for Undyne's house.
