Yellow and Chuchu had just passed by Sans's telescope when they came across an unfamiliar hallway. The hallway was barren, except for a single grey door. The pair decided to go through the door, curious about what was on the other side.
The room they entered was dark, but Yellow could make out a figure in the center of the room. As she approached the figure, she realized it was a man.
"Hello?" Yellow asked the man. "Who are you?"
The man slowly turned around, and Yellow was able to see his face. He had two cracks coming from his eyes, one going up, and the other going down. Yellow tried to reach out to the man, when he jumped back in surprise, and disappeared.
"Wait, come back!" Yellow shouted. "I didn't mean to scare you!"
The man didn't come back. After a few minutes of waiting, Yellow and Chuchu left the room.
"Who was he?" Yellow asked. "He looked...almost like a skeleton…"
Yellow turned her head to look at the door when she gasped. The door was gone.
"Come on Chuchu. We should get going."
With that, the pair set off for Hotland once again.
Author's Note: The Waterfall arc is finally over! Just some quick notes, There is no such thing as FUN value in Yellowtale, and the "Mysterious Man" will have a bigger role to play after the main story. The Hotland arc starts in the next chapter.
