Natasha shook herself out of the flashback. Bruce had scared her then, those Hydra mens deaths were horrific. But the way he stared at her after... it was almost like
NO.
It was wishful thinking. No matter what crazy feelings Natasha would never admit she had for Bruce, she knew he would never feel the same.
Not that she had any feelings for him. So it didn't matter anyway, right?
Natasha lay on her bed, pondering this, until she drifted off into the welcoming darkness of sleep.

¨WHAT?!¨ Thor demanded, eyes blazing with shock and fury.
¨They threaten the safety of our citizens, my son.¨ Odin said, sitting on his throne with an impassive expression. ¨We must protect our own.¨
¨They have done nothing but stop our enemies from destroying us!¨ Thor cried. ¨What is it that you have against them?¨
¨They are humans. Comparing their worldly significance to ours is like comparing how much better a rat can fly than a pegasus.¨
¨You would think them unworthy? You would presume you are any better than them?¨
¨I WOULD PRESUME-¨ Odin jumped to his feet. ¨THAT YOU MUST START ACTING LIKE THE HEIR TO THE THRONE AND CUT OFF CONNECTIONS WITH LOWER BEINGS LIKE HUMANS!¨
That was when Thor lost it.
He roared, and threw Mjolnir (May-OH-Neer) at Odin.
Odin smiled smugly, reaching his hand out to catch the legendary weapon, but he didn't.
The hammer pushed his hand away, and pinned Odin to his throne.
Thor started laughing. He slowly walked to where his father was pinned.
¨Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.¨
Thor scoffed, easily lifting the hammer off of the old fool.
¨See what it has judged you to be.¨
The god of thunder tossed one last scathing look at his father, before flying out out of the throne room.
