02 Ring Ring Stop the Cart I wanna get off
Harry Spun and Spun glimpses of rooms when Harry saw a sea of red hair he leaned forward and put his foot forward smiling as he stepped gracefully out of the Burrows fire stumbled and then fell flat on his face Harry Groaned "I REALLY hate floo" he grumbles from the floor he looks up and sees the Twins and Ron all laughing openly and Mrs Weasley has tears in her eyes from holding back her laughter
Ginny step out of the floo look at the floor and knelt next to Harry "Well at least you made it to the right place this time" she said petting his head
Harry stood up and dusted himself off Mrs Weasley patted some dose off of his back "go put you stuff in Ron's room dear I'll come set up the bed later" harry thanked her and grabbed his trunk and hauled it up to the top of the Burrow in to the violently orange room on the top floor
as Harry was sorting through his trunk he heard a noise behind him assuming it was Ron "I really need to Diagon Alley and get some new clothes in my size I mean have you seen the size of these boxers" he lamented waving said boxers over his head "you could fit the male population of this house into them and still have room for more"
"yes well as you know I'm quite partial to unicorns myself" Ginny said giggling
Harry let out a yelp and fell into his trunk "I thought you was Ron" came a muffled voice from the trunk "how can I help you Gin"
Ginny pulled Harry out of his trunk and looked at him with her nose scrunched up "did you just call me Gin" she said looking at him
"I guess I did I've heard the Twins call you little Gin Gin but I don't think that's fair but I think Gin sounds nice" Harry said worried he might of upset Ginny "if you don't like it I won't call you it again OK Ginny"
"no it's fine if you call me Gin the twins might start too" she said with a sigh "anyway the reason I came up was mum says she want your washing so she can get a start on it"
"got it I'll be down in 2 and if i'm lucky maybe she can make these old things vanish" he said looking at the pile of Dudley's hand me downs "think she would let me go to Diagon tomorrow do do some shopping?"
"you can ask but she would probably just offer to do it for you" Ginny shrugged
"well come on then lets go ask" Harry gathered up is cloths and headed towards the kitchen
"thank you Harry" Mrs Weasley said as she took the cloths from harry
"Mrs Weasley is it ok if I go to Diagon alley tomorrow and do some shopping as you can see my clothes are way too big for me" Harry asked politely Mrs Weasley looked at one of the T-Shirts harry had just given her
"i could shrink them to your size harry it would only take a shake of the wand" she replied holding the t-shirt up to harry
"well the thing is there not my style and I would really like something that is mine for the first time and not a Dudley cast off" Harry pleaded "I spent some of last summer living there so I now my way around and I could even take Ron and Gin so I'm not alone"
Mrs Weasley looked torn she was not used to just binning cloths that could be altered but Harry was not a Weasley "ok harry you can go you can also help me and pick up something we need like floo powder" harry's head flick to the fire and he scowled at it like it had offended him Mrs Weasley laughed "your going to have to use it again someday harry"
"nope" harry disagreed "i reckon I can use the knight bus till I can learn to apparate and then I will never have to touch that thing ever again"
"you need to be 16 and an adult to get a licence to apparate harry and it's not easy I can only just do it on my own" Mrs Weasley said not liking to admit she was not good at apperating
"I'll use it if I need Mrs Weasley but I like the knight bus" Harry Smiled "can I go tell Ron and Gin about tomorrow?" when Mrs Weasley nodded harry ran off to find Ginny and Ron
"I still don't know how you convinced mum to let you go and even take us with you" Ron said shaking his head
"well it's probably because I'm the great Harry Potter" Harry replayed puffing out his chest pompously
Ginny Laughed "I should not of let you read them Harry Potter books last night" she said as she whipped out her wand and held it over the road a loud bang announced the arrival of the triple decker purple bus
"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard just stick out your wand hand, step on board, and we can take you anywhere you want to go. My name is Stan Shunpike, and I will be your conductor today" Stan read off his little note
Harry shook his head "you still not learnt your lines Stan it's been nearly a year since I last saw you" Harry said as Stan looked at him wide eyed
"hey Ern it's Arry Potter" Stan shouted to the buses Driver Ern who just grunted
"yep it's me 3 to the leaky please Stan" harry smiles passing Stan 1 Galleon and 10 Sickels for the trip
at the leaky the gang step off the bus Ron looking a bit green "come one lets get a drink first" harry walks through the bar to the wall in the back pulls out his wand and taps three brick up and two across from the bins the brick wriggle and move forming the door to Diagon alley "come on time for a butter beer" harry says "and then we can plan from there
Taking the ice cold drink back to the table harry hands them out and take a long swig from his own lets out a content sigh "that's the stuff, so first we need to go to the bank and get some gold, then we can do your mums shopping then cloths shopping maybe stopping for dinner on the way" hay says looking at the 2 Weasleys
"Harry when you say we need to go to the bank you want us to come with you?" Ginny said quietly
Harry taking this as a bad thing remembered that the Weasleys did not have much gold so Ginny must of thought he was rubbing there noses in how much he had "oh well you don't have to if you don't want I just thought you might like the cart ride I'm not showing off or anything"
Ginny held her hand up "we know you have gold Harry and it doesn't bother me it's just taking a person not family to your personal vault is not common"
"oh well Ron keeps telling me I'm an Honorary Weasley" harry said as Ron Nodded "so for today lets say you and ron are honorary Potters" Harry stood up after they had finished drinking and taking Ginny by that hand pulling her up "come on Ginny Potter the carts await" he said almost dragging her if he just looked back he would see Ginny's face matched her hair at been called Ginny Potter
in the bank Harry walked up to a Teller "Good day sir Goblin I am Harry Potter and I would like to visit my vault please" harry smile cheerfully the goblin just grumbled and sneered at Harry but he paid it no mind everyone had bad days now and then the teller pressed a button on the counter and a new Goblin appeared from a door behind him Harry Recognised this Goblin "Hello Griphook it's good to see you again" this got the same response as the teller as harry followed he approached Griphook "have I done something to offend the goblins I have been polite and both you and the teller sneered at me"
Griphook stopped "it is not your fault Mr Potter but Goblins are warriors and don't like such pleasantry" at the door to the carts he held the door for the 3
"then how am I meant to talk to goblins I would like to know" harry stated looking Griphook in the eye
"you want to know how to be polite to a Goblin" he enquired "you are an odd wizard Mr Potter but I will tell you to greet a Goblin as an equal take your right fist and beat it over your heart thusly" Griphook showed the moment" this is the Goblin Sault keeping your fist there say 'may your gold ever flow like the blood of your Enemies' The goblin will then reply with 'may your coffers be ever full and your enemies shit their pants when they hear your name'"
"thank you Griphook" harry said repeating what he had just learn and gave Griphook a proper greeting
Griphook let out a toothy smile that really did nearly make Harry Shit his pants "you are odd for a wizard harry" he leaned in close to harry "i have not said this but you should ask to speak to your account manager today" he then walked in to the room clicked his fingers and jumped in to the next cart that appeared
at the vault Harry Stepped in and turned to tell Ginny to fill a bag when he noticed she and Ron stood at the door he gestured for them to come it but Ginny just knocked on a wall in her way "you must invite them in Mr Potter" Griphook said
"oh ok come in guys" harry said feeling stupid and Ginny's hand moved forward causing her to stumble in "here fill these up" harry said handing Ginny and Ron a small pouch
Ron had not move and was just looking at the piles of gold "I have never seen so much Gold" he said "I bet it's amazing having all this gold not having to worry about anything" Ron said unthinking
"RON!" Ginny said scolding Ron who just looked confused
Harry just smiled at her "its ok Gin I got this "do you want all this gold Ron" he asked looking at ron who just nodded "ok then" harry said walking to the corner and picking up something and holding it behind his back "same conditions I got it under though ye" Ron just nodded looking at all the gold "you need this then" Harry held out a jewel encrusted dagger Ron just looked at it eyebrows furrowed "i got this gold because all my family is dead so if you want it you need to do the same" harry stood behind Ginny and whispered something in her ear she nodded "should we start with Ginny" Harry said moving the dagger up but before et even move half and inch Ron thrust out his hands
"OK OK I get it don't even joke about that" Ron shouted "i understand now you want the family not the gold but don't ever joke like that you could of hurt Ginny with that thing"
"i could never hurt my friends Ron now let go back topside I need to talk to my account manager" tossing the dagger at Ron who flinched "and I think that was my dads its a fake the blade retracts into the handle"
back on the surface harry asked to see his account manager after Ginny and Ron said they would meet him at Florean Fortescue's when he was done
Harry was currently sat in the office of an old Goblin who looked like he dragon dung under his nose "Account manager I have come to check the status of my account as I have never received a letter from the bank regarding it" Harry said wanting to get this done with and see why Griphook had told him to do this
"very well" the goblin said opening a draw in his desk and pulling out a thick file with the Potter Family Crest on the front he opens the file "Vault 713 contains about ʛ 18,000 which is refilled on your birthday to ʛ 20,000" the goblin looked at harry then back at the papers "this money comes from Vault 15 this is the main Potter which you will get access to when you take up the Potter Lordship or turn 17 whatever comes first this vault contains the bulk of the Potter money and currently sits at about ʛ 4,000,000,000"
Harry interrupted "Did you say Billion!?" Harry's brain was shutting down from shock "you don't mean Million with a M"
"No" the goblin said gruffly "Billion it says it here plain as day" The goblin pressed his finger to the paper and said something in gobbledygook "I have just asked for recount and update on your account its not been done since your parents deaths" the 2 sat in silence for a few moments till a bell chimed and the folder flashed and a new smaller folder appeared next to it "yes the recount shows Vault 15 contains ʛ4 Billion this dose not include the value of businesses and property" the goblin closed the file picked it up and looked to rip it in 2 he handed one to harry and he noted it was a full file but over the Potter crest it said COPY "you can take this and look over it in your own time"
Harry took the file in shaking hands and placed it on his lap he looked at the desk and pointed and the other file "and what's that one about that appeared after the recounting "as he looked he noted this one did not hold the Potter Crest but the crest of Slytherin House from school
the goblin took the file a read it quickly "Do you by chance know a Tom Riddle" the Goblin said looking up at harry
harry with a scowl "ye I know him and so do you" with a hint of venom in his voice "You will know him a Lord Voldemort"
"ah well this might not be a mistake then" the goblin closed the file "have to done combat with Mr Riddle since the day of your parents death"
harry nodded and proceeded to tell the goblin about his first and second years of school "so ye you could say I have done combat with him a few time in a way"
the goblin nodded "well that explains this" the goblin pointed to the file "it appears that the magic of Slytherin has deemed you worth by the old laws of combat"
"and what do you mean by that" Harry said not liking the sound of anything to do with combat "i don't need to fight anyone do I, I'm not allowed to use magic out of school"
for the second time that day harry saw the horror of a goblin smile "that might be soon to change" the goblin opened the draw again and pulled out 2 small boxes "the Slytherin line is old and has not age on when a person could become head of the house" he opened one of the boxed and in it sat a ring made of black metal set in it was an emerald with the Slytherin crest set inside "try to put this ring on if it goes on and accepts you then the rules will change for you"
Harry plucked the ring from the box and looked at it taking a deep breath he placed it on his thumb of his left hand it resized to fit perfectly "excellent" the goblin exclaimed "i do like it when I can stick it to the Ministry" he then pushed the 2nd box to harry "now try this one" he said rubbing his hands together"
Harry opened the box and in it was a gold ring with a ruby set in it the Potter crest in the middle of the gem "is this the Potter Lord Ring" Harry said not touching it "i thought I had to be 17 for this"
the goblin shook his head "no you have to be 17 normally but as you are now Lord Slytherin you have been classed an adult so you may perform your duties as head of house so the Potter ring should accept you"
"this is going to be a long day I can feel it" harry sighed as he took the Potter ring and slid it on to his left index finger it too shrank to fit no soon had this happened a new file flashed into bean on the desk "please tell me that not for me"
"it does look that way" the goblin laughed sending chills down Harry's spine "yes yes only a Potter who become Lord Potter before 17 may only then become Lord Gryffindor due to the child like nature of Godric" the goblin shook his head "well get the ring on the Mr Potter" a box was pulled from the draw and pushed to harry
Harry too the ring it looked almost identical to the potter one but somehow the gold had a glow to it this ring went on Harry's Left hand middle finger no sooner had it shrunk 4 more file flashed into existence "if this keeps going im going to need more hands" Harry said banging his head on the desk
"yes my desk is getting quite full now" the goblin said putting the potter file in the draw and making copies of the Gryffindor and Slytherin files before then putting them in the draw "well let's get this over with shall we" the goblin flicked through the new files at one of the files the goblin pressed a button on his desk and summoned Griphook "Griphook please find out what you can on this crest I do not know it and all that is in the file is a diamond key but no vault number" Griphook left with the file "while that gets looked into we can sort out these 3" he pulled out 2 files with the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Crest on "might as well finish the full set" he pulled 2 boxes from the draw "not much info in these Hufflepuff says she sees your loyalty to others and the school and Ravenclaw says if the other 3 deem you worthy then doing the same thing is the smart thing to do"
The Ravenclaw ring was silver with a blue sapphire and the Hufflepuff ring was the same black metal as Slytherin but with a yellow Diamond harry slipped them onto his last 2 fingers of his left hand then winced and looked around "no flash that has to be good"
"yes I think this one is next it is the Peverel Family this one is offered to every Lord Potter to reactivate but they all refuse given you have been forced to take 4 others so far well as the muggles say in for a penny in for a pound yes" he then passed the next box to harry
this ring was different it was a light blue hued metal with a light blue Aquamarine this ring went on the thumb of his right hand as it shrank Griphook re-entered whispered to the other goblin who shocked said something back griphook just nodded
"well the last one if most shocking of all Lord Potter" his account manager said not sounding very formal "this crest is that of house Wyllt the last known head of the house was Myrddin Wyllt or as you would know him Merlin"
"Merlin!" Harry said "how can I be the head of Merlin's house"
"the file is empty Lord Potter all we have is the diamond key which is to vault 0 and the house ring" Griphook said as he held out a diamond box with a ring made of a rainbow stone sat inside "the ring is made of Virgin Rainbow a type of Opal that even we goblins prize for it rarity this is the largest we have seen to date" Griphook held out the box lid open to harry who took it and with a sigh slipped it onto his right index finger
"please let that be it I only have 3 fingers left" harry looked relieved when nothing else flashed but did flinch when papers appeared with a pop into the Wyllt file
"just something for you to read later Lord Potter" Griphook said looking at the file "but its will be fun to see the ministry fight this, do you want use to add your personal Elf to the other accounts or just to the Potter account" griphook added as the last of the files were copied and handed to harry
"I'm sorry but I don't have a personal elf right now" no sooner had harry said that there was a pop and Dobby Appeared
"If the Great Powerful Harry Potter is needing a Elf then Dobby woulds like to be Volunteering" Dobby squeaked bounding on the balls of his feet which harry noted one was covered in his grimy old sock
"But Dobby, I just set you free from the Malfoy's why would you want to then come to me and be bound again?" harry asked confused
"old masters were bad bad wizards and treated Dobby like vermin, Harry Potter is not bad wizard he is good wizard and treat Dobby as a friend Dobby would like to belong to Harry Potter" Dobby said quietly now nervously wringing his hands
"if it's what you want Dobby then I won't refuse you but you can not go around with that ratty pillow case on" harry said holding out his hand to Dobby
"Dobby will then be making something better to do Harry Potter Proud" Dobby took Harry's hand and with a jolt of power and a flash of light the sock on Dobby's foot vanished
"ok add Dobby to the Potter Vault as my Personal elf and Dobby use what money you need to make your uniform I will be shopping with Ginny and Ron then going to the Borrow for the summer" Dobby nodded then popped away
"if you have no more business Lord Potter then we are done" the goblin said looking over the now clear desk "and as note to you if you wish you can use the ring to make payments from that vault just press it to the bill of sale and the funds will transfer" the account manager then stood up and opened the door for Harry
as he was walking down the corridor toward the main hall of the bank he hurd Griphook call his name "as a gift from the bank I have set up this card linked to the Potter Vault so you can spend money in muggle shops there is no pin so hit any 4 numbers magic will do the rest" before harry even had time to thank him he had vanished down one of the many side corridors
Harry met with Ginny and Ron at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour "that's quite the pile op parchment there harry" Ron said nodding at the pile
"yes it is and i'm going to deal with it now" harry pulled out his wand pointed at the pile "Reducio" the papers shrank down to the size of a stamp which harry pocketed
"impressive and all that mate but was that worth a warning" Ron admonished
"i wont get a warning Ron I have been exempt form the underage laws due to what happened in the bank" harry said with a smile
"is it also why you have 2 hands full of rings Harry" Ginny said pointing to his hands
"ye but I wish they would hide" he no sooner said it as all the ring shimmered and vanished "there still there" he said touching his fingers "just inviable"
"so does this change the plans for today" Ginny asked
"not really but I do need to go get some books on Lords and head of houses" Harry said still fingering the rings
"you want to read during the summer" Ron said sounding disgusted
"yes Ron like Hermione says Knowledge is Power and I might have power"
Ron still looked rebellious "fine I'll go book shopping" harry pulled out one of the money pouches and pulled out ʛ40 and split it into 2 piles "OK Ron go do something you want" he pushed ʛ20 to Ron "that includes getting that twig you call a wand replaced" Ron was gone like a shot with a muttered "thanks harry"
Harry pushed the 2nd pile to Ginny "Harry you know Mums going to to have a fit when she hears you gave us money" Ginny Said eyeing the coins "she doesn't like charity says we are better than than that"
Harry picked up the Gold and forced it into Ginny's hand "tell her I forced you to take it" he closed her fingers over the gold "besides am I not meant to be your boyfriend at least till September"
Ginny Smiles softly at Harry "I can not tell mum that ether she will just say I'm too young to date"
"well let me deal with that she might change her mind when we talk about this" he said tapping his pocket
"is the news that big" Ginny said tilting her head to the side questioning "i mean what could you tell her that will make her not skin you for wasting your coin on us"
"well let's just say I'm most definitely Malfoy rich" Harry smile still holding Ginny's hand to stop her giving it back
"ok harry lets go get you some now cloths" Ginny said with an evil gleam in her eye
5 hours later the trio trooped back into the Burrow Harry walked past Mrs Weasley and sat at the kitchen table opposite Mr Weasley then slumped forward resting his head on the table
Mr Weasley laughed "Busy day Harry" he said Cheerfully
"Mr Weasley no offence but you daughter is devil" Harry Mumbles from the table "she must have had me try on every item of clothing in Diagon Alley
"ah well then now you know what like is like for a married man best get used to it before you have a girlfriend in tow" Mr Weasley Chuckled
"well Ginny would not even let me pick my own boxers" Harry grumbled
"I told you the Hippogriff ones are more manly" Ginny shrugged
"I believe your words were" Harry was cut off as Ginny clamped her hand over his mouth
"why don't you get out you purchases so mum can tell you I was right" Ginny said hurriedly
harry turned out his pockets and dropped 20-30 bags onto the kitchen table "Just how much did you spend harry" Mrs Weasley admonished looking at all the bags
"not all mine Mrs Weasley I got Ginny some new things as a thank you for helping and I paid for a new wand for Ron as it was partly my fault his broke" he said pulling 5 bags out that were Ginny's "and these are your shopping you wanted" pulling aside 5 more
Mrs Weasley stood over Harry "thank you for the thought Harry but we don't like to accept charity" Harry heard Ginny Mumble "told you" from his left
Harry stopped Mrs Weasley "it's not charity Mrs Weasley you, Ron and the Twins have repeatedly told me I am a Weasley in all but blood and hair so if that is true then charity does not exist between family"
"Thank you Harry" Mr Weasley said over the paper he was now reading "but now you are home I have some news" he reached into his robe pocket and pulled out an envelope "we won the Daily Prophet Grand Prize Galleon Draw" he said smiling "they want to come over and take photos for the paper"
Mrs Weasley moved to Mr Weasley and read the Letter "we could use this to go see Bill in Egypt" she said looking at Mr Weasley "can you get the time off work? She asked him
"I can but we can not take Harry we would need to get permission from his guardians" Mr Weasley said nodding to harry
"and the Dursley's will say no just to spite me" Harry said with a shrug "i could just stop at the Leaky again"
"and I could stay with him" Ginny started to say before she was cut off by Mrs Weasley
"i will not have you sharing a room with a boy" Mrs Weasley said with a glance at Ginny
"ye mum cos we both know Harry has ill intentions after spending 9 months in a castle with loads of girls" Ginny said rolling her eyes
"it's not Harry's intentions I'm worried about" Mrs Weasley said with a eye roll "I know what your dreams are remember"
"oh do you mean the one were she become Mrs Potter" Harry laughed "I know of that dream of hers but after that hell she put me through today I think Percy has a better chance" Harry laughed to which Ginny just Huffed
"as much as I like talking about becoming Ginny's husband at age 12 I could do with some help with something that came up today at the bank" Harry interrupted as Ginny and Mrs Weasley were arguing about Ginny's Plans he then told everyone about the event of the bank placing each ring on the table as he got to it in his story
"so your the lord of" Ginny counted the rings "7 old and powerful houses"
"yes" harry nodded "and this all came after my biggest shock of all" Harry pulled the files out of his pocket and tapped them muttering "Engorgio" the adults gasped
"dont worry" Ginny added "Harry shrank all the bags and we have not seen a single owl all day"
Harry pulled out the Potter file and handed the front sheet to Mr Weasley "that's why I did not stop Ginny when she was shopping and why I let her shop for her self and even got Ron a new Wand"
Mr Weasley just looked at the paper eyes wide "has this been checked" he said quietly
"yes that's what set off all the rings when the account was updated" Harry confirmed
"Arthur what does it say" Mrs Weasley said looking at her unmoving husband
"its ok Mrs Weasley" Harry said "he looks how I did when I first found I had ʛ4 Billion to my name" Harry Looked to Mrs Weasley just in time to see her drop into a chair hands over her heart
Mr Weasley cleared his throat "Harry what do the other files say" he pointed to them
"to be honest after the rain of ring I took them and run" Harry said rubbing the back of his neck "but after the Potter info it can not get any worse right" he questioned
Mr Weasley glanced at the other files after 10 minutes or so he put the last one down "well the Hogwarts ones don't add much in money" he said scratching his nose "but they do add property, How do you feel about been a Headmaster of a school you own harry"
"I own Hogwarts" Harry stammered looking around
Ron was holding his Guts as he laughed hard "maybe you should grow a long white beard Harry" he wheezed "and you have to deal with the twins too"
"ye well in that case you now head of Gryffindor so the twins are your problem" Harry dead panned back "can you do the tight lips like old McGonagall" this stopped Ron's laughing
"this need to be sorted soon harry" Mr Weasley interrupted "as soon as you enter the school all the wards and defences will switch to you I think we need to tell Dumbledore so this can be done sooner and not when you go back to school" he said tapping his fingers on the table "you should write him a letter asking for him to come see you as soon as he can"
Harry nodded "I think I can send a message fast now" Harry smiled and called for Dobby
"Master Harry has call for Dobby" the elf squeaked the change was remarkable gone was the grubby pillow case and in its place was a smart black toga with gold trims
"looking good there Dobby" Harry said in a praising tone "you will be fighting off the lady elf's now but it's missing something" harry reached onto the table for the Potter ring but no sooner had he opened his hand the ring few onto his finger
"it's part of the magic Harry the ring can always find you and come to you so you can not lose it" Mr Weasley said at Harry's shocked face
Harry nodded then pressed the ring to the breast of Dobby's Toga with a flash a fine embroidered Potter crest appeared there "now then Dobby I need you to pass a message to Headmaster Dumbledore I need you to tell him to come see me at the burrow at his connivance" Dobby nodded and pooped away
Note 5 mins later the Weasley's Fire burst into emerald flames and out stepped the tall imposing figure of Albus Dumbledore "Harry my boy I so happy to see you bonded with that very energetic elf" he smiles that grandfatherly smile "now what did you need to see me about"
Harry retold his story of the rings as Dumbledore sat stroking his beard "yes I see why you called me I am assuming you don't want to take residence in my old office Headmaster" he chuckled
"no" harry agreed "i intend to be a student and have you as headmaster"
"then let us reconvene to Hogwarts and see if we can sort something out" Dumbledore suggested rubbing his hands together at the thought of a new challenge
Harry just groaned "Floo travel, Can I take the bus" he asked hopefully
"well why don't you try a different type of wizard travel" Dumbledore smiled "we could Apparate I could take you and young Miss Weasley with me since she appears to be attacked to you" Dumbledore remarked indicating how harry and Ginny at some point in the tale had started to hold hands
"I'll try anything once sir" Harry said "maybe this time I won't land on my face"
"we will need to move to the edge of the Burrows wards" Dumbledore stood up "i have unlocked the floo to my office we shall see you there" Harry, Dumbledore and Ginny walked out to the edge of the Burrow "you will both need to hold my arm and think hard of the main gates of Hogwarts" Dumbledore checked the 2 children were ready then twisted away
Harry stood at the gates a deep frown on his face "that was a different feeling much better than floo" Harry looked to Ginny who was a little Green "Feeling OK there Gin" she just nodded too afraid to open her mouth "I want to learn to Apparate" Harry said nodding
"We can discuss that later Harry, but let us deal with the task at hand" Dumbledore chuckled he pulled out his wand and was just about to tap the gate to unlock it when he stopped "I think harry we should test your rights, put your want on the lock and command them to open" Dumbledore remarked stepping back
with one look at Ginny who gave him a thumbs up harry walked to the gate pulled his wand and placed it on the lock taking a deep claiming breath " I am Harry James Potter and I command you to open up" at first nothing happened the lock just glowed as if thinking about it but then the chain shuddered the lock popped open and the gate creaked open
"Well I think that answers the question only myself or a member of staff should have been able to open that gate" Dumbledore said stroking his beard "I should warn you Harry it's quite the sensation been in control of the schools wards"
Harry stood right at the border to Hogwarts looking at it like it was dangerous, as he stood there building himself up, while Harry was readying himself Ginny now back to her normal colour stood next to Harry and slipped her hand into his, with this support Harry took a deep breath and stepped over the border
Harry did not know what to expect but he did not expect to know where every person was in the castle and when he thought of some places like Gryffindor Tower he instinctively knew the password with one hand pressed to the side of his head Harry Groaned "the rest of the Weasley have just entered your office and the password is Liquorice Torpedoes" Harry frowned "Professor how do you deal with this when the school is open it's so strange knowing where everyone is"
"Yes it takes some getting used to but you get used to it and can even miss it when its gone" Dumbledore let out a small sigh "well let's go to your office headmaster" Dumbledore jokes
"sir no matter what happens today you will still be the headmaster" as soon as Harry said this he felt the wards move away from him he could still feel them but he did not have direct control them but he somehow knew he could if he wanted to
"ah sometimes the simple ways are the best" Dumbledore nodded "just by stating your intentions made the school move the wards back to me"
"well sir I still feel the wards its feels like I just gave you permission to feel them" Harry looked at Ginny and she let out a small "oh" Harry smiled "it looks like I can give people different levels of control"
"is that why I know were all the schools ghosts are" Ginny said looking at the castle
Harry just smiled "Ron told me you don't like the baron now you can walk around him"
"thank you harry, that's very sweet" Ginny said giving Harry a peck on the cheek
"ah young love" Dumbledore sighed eyes distant "but we should get to my office" he gestured with his hand
Harry just coughed and Ginny smiled "we should go Mrs Weasley is starting to pace" Harry said changing the subject "i just got this castle and I don't want a groove worn in the floor" he set off for the door Ginny grinning by his side as they walked into the entrance hall harry stopped "Headmaster what that under the floor" he said pointing at the Hogwarts crest in the middle of the room
Dumbledore looked were Harry was pointing then to Ginny Harry noticed this "you can tell Gin or I could just open it up" he said
with a sign he was going this a lot today things were changing so fast Dumbledore nodded "Under the crest of the school is the Heart of Hogwarts its master ward stone, it uses the ambient magic to power the school wards" he looked to Harry and Ginny "this is Hogwarts most Guarded secret only the Headmaster and deputy Headmaster know of its location, please keep this secret as its the main protection for the students"
"we understand Headmaster, but I fear Mrs Weasley is about to breakthrough to the room below your office soon, as you would say we should make haste"
Dumbledore nodded "I am slow with age so and you will not hear this during term time why don't you run to my Office and calm Mr Weasley"
2 minutes later the 2 of them slid to a stop in front of the gargoyle protecting the headmasters office" they looked at the gargoyle Harry was about to ask it to open when Ginny stopped him "Harry when this is sorted can we talk about that deal with me and Hermione all this has changed the rule is a big way a good way but still big" she looked at him squeezed his hand and he nodded "when this is done you can tell me, i might of only known you properly for a month but i know i can trust you Gin, now let's go stop your mum having kittens" Harry gave the password and they both stepped onto the stairs
"Arther it should not take this long to Apperate here" Mrs Weasley said anxiously "what if they splinched I mean Dumbledor is not as young as he used to be"
At that moment Harry pushed the door open "to which he admits and sent us ahead of him, that and i was worried for the state of my floors with the pasing"
Mrs Weasly smiled then stopped as if stunned "did you say YOUR floor does that mean?"
"Yep" Harry Nodded "the gate unlocked at my command and when i stepped onto the grounds the wards moved to me and i can now feel everything and can open all the doors"
"Its ok mum Harry made Dumbledor his headmaster he doesn't want to run the school just yet"
"If ever" harry added "I have just had 2 handfuls of houses thrust on me and i need to learn how to run them and the laws around them" with a sight harry looked around the office with a somewhat evil smile Harry rounded the desk and stat in the Headmaster's chair Mrs Weasly looked like she was going to say something but Harry got there first "i'm still a kd Mrs Weasly and i intent to have as much fun as i can when not having to be Lord many names" he pulled his glasses to the tip of his nose and steepled his finger looking like a young Dumbledor "have a seat while we wait would you like drinks?" as soon as harry thought this a name popped into his head "Deezer" he called and a elf popped in clothed in standard Hogwarts pillowcase and crest
"How can Deezer be helping master many names" he said with a small bow
Harry laughed "i don't need any more titles thank you Deezer so call me Harry, and can you fetch up a tray of drinks please for my guest please" the elf bowed again and popped away
No sooner had Deezer popped out did the door open and Dumbledor entered he looked at his desk and smiles "ahh Headmaster Potter it appears i took so long to get here you decided to take the role of headmaster"
At that moment 2 elfs popped in with trays of drinks harry stood up and moved to the last free seat next to Ginny "no i think headmaster is one job that needs your advanced years sir"
"Indeed" Dumbledor smiles "we also appear to taken care of the ward issue on the way up, all that is left to deal with is weather you want to stay in the tower with the rest of your year group or do you wish to move into one of the private apartment for a Lord and his Lady" he said taking the pose harry had imitated
"I can get away from Ron's Snoring" harry said this got indigent Hey from Ron Harry closed his eyes and furrowed his brows "is this the room near the tower behind the emblem of Gryffindor" Harry Said
Dumbledor just coughed and looked to Mr Weasley "he has not been told i take it" Dumbledor said to MR Weasley who just shook his head
"We thought the school was more important to start with" he said looking towards Harry and Ginny"
"What are you on about?" Harry asked leaning forward to look at Mr Weasly
"It's what i was going to tell you at home" Ginny sighed "you are the head of 7 Houses as such you will need children for all 7, Preferably male" Ginny looked to Harry "but pure blood law is worded so that you can not do that with just one wife"
Harry cottoned on at this point "so your saying i need 7 Wives or at least now 7 Girlfriends"
Ginny shook her head "you would need to have 7 brides to be you need to form marriage contracts with the families" she looked harry in the eye
Harry just smiled at her softly "this solves the 1st September issue doesn't it, we can talk more at home and we need to write to Hermione too with books for her to read"
Harry looked to the Headmaster "I'll take the quarters out of the tower and i request Godric's Halls, it has more rooms than needed but also has a central room and a basic kitchen and a large bath"
"That's all good harry but we don't know were the founders rooms are" Dumbledor mused
Harry grinned from ear to ear "they are located where they are needed, all you need to do is open any door and say Godric's Hall and be allowed to enter them then the door will open to the halls" he walked over to the headmasters office door put his hand on the handel "Godric's Halls" he then pulled the door open instead of the stairs the door opened to a large open room with lush gold and red carpets this room was filled with squashy chairs and couches and large dining table and some book cases the main focal point was a large fire around the walls was doors harry opened the one with gold hinges and was met with the main bedroom in it a large triple wide bed a wardrobe and a second door leading to a small bathroom as he was looking around Ginny came up next to him and wrapped herself around his arm he looked at her and smiled he looked over his shoulder and sew the adults were looking in one of the other rooms so harry leaned forward and whispered "you fully intend to be one of the 7 don't you"
She nodded and look up at him "if you want me that is, i know you still think im just some fan girl but i want to know you not the stories told about you"
Harry rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand "i don't think you are a fangirl Gin not since the well end of school, it just feels so natural been near you" he said waving a hand at her on his arm "probably would not of noticed how natural tho if not for you and Hermione telling me on the train" he moved them to sit on the bed which looked to be fresh he guessed the elfs had cleaned the room for him or kept them clean and ready "I'll talk to your dad then, but if your mum attacks im using you as a shield" he groaned
"Your going to ask me what Harry" Mr weasley siad entering the room Harry just ground and layed back on the bed pulling Ginny Down with him still attached to his arm "it's a bit soon to be taking my girl to bed harry" he chuckled
Harry groaned again "don't even joke Mr Weasley, she wants to be one of the 7 and probably intends to pull in a second girl"
"Am i correct in guessing the other girl is Hermione" Mr Weasley asked to which harry nodded "I can speak for Ginny when i say i have no issues she has had the name Potter after hers in her head since she was 5 and thats not changed in the 6 years since then" Ginny smiled and squeezed harry's arm tighter
"How do i explain this to Hermione, I don't even know what half of it means myself" harry pulled his arm free of Ginny slowly his hand running over something small and soft he looked at his hand as he sat up and continued "How do i tell her that not only can she follow through with her feeling but she has to share me with not just Gin but eventually 5 other girls AND THEN how do i find 5 other girls"
"Well you just talk harry" Mr Weasley said "and it you treat them all as you treat my Ginny then things won't go wrong" he pointed at ginny who and curled up in harry's lap and was having her hair stroked a content smile on her face
Harry looked down at her "i didn't know i was doing that but i find it helps me relax i did the same in the Chamber after the fight" Ginny just purred and urged him to keep going
"Then i suggest you don't think harry and just do what feels right" he looked at his daughter he had seen that look she had in his own eyes when he met Molly "I'll talk with molly and help with Hermione and we can get the contract sorted too if its what Ginny wants" he patted harry on the shoulder, he turned and left the room just to the side of the door stood Molly
"We just lost our daughter didn't we Arther" she said with a small sob
Arther looked over his shoulder at Harry and Ginny "No we gained a son, they look at eachother like we did when we first met" he took molly's hand and pulled her over to one of the couches
She sat and looked at Arther eyes we "but she's so young, too young to to be engaged"
"Only in years Molly but you heard what she said after the chamber" he patted his wife's hand "she had to mature to deal with that just like Harry has to deal with what he has been through"
Molly took a deep shuddering breath "I want to see, I want to see this Chamber to help understand"
This time it was harry's turn to eavesdrop he was stood behind the Weasley adults "i wont ever hurt her, or push he were she doesn't want to go" he said quietly "Mr Weasley is right you know we both had to grow up me because of my relatives and Voldermort and ginny cos of that blasted chamber" he looked at them fists clenched "you want to see it i'll take you and i'll even blast that snakes carcass for good measure"
Today must of been national eavesdropping day "if you are off back to the chamber harry might i suggest taking professor snape with you a basilisk is vare and its parts are valuable poisons ingredients"
"Sure headmaster but first you need to tell me why the school is screaming in my head to activate defences against him" harry said looking at the headmaster
"I trust professor snape harry" dumbledore protested but as he did the walls shook "harry what are you doing" he said looking at the walls
"Protecting the school and its students sir" harry said "unless you tell me why you need him"
The shacking had brought Ginny out of the bedroom she took harry's hand "let him talk Harry" she looked at Dumbledore "give him chance to talk harry if he doesn't, well its your school"
"Can you not just trust me Harry" Dumbledor pleaded
"Give me a reason to why do you need snape here even though the school wants to get him out" harry said looking him in the eye "tell me that then i'll decide if he goes to the chamber or home"
"Fine harry sit down it's a long story"
