I don't own RWBY or Escape the Night.

Years before the guest arrived.

The view opens up in a church. A fox Faunas wearing a preacher's clothes quickly did a prayer before walking over to a terrified father and mother. He turned to them with a calming nod. Muttering aloud, "Pray for me."

The two give a terrified nod before the view shifts. By a bed side a young woman remains shackled to a bed. She was contorting in different but painful mannerisms. As she moves about the Priest said a quick prayer before uncorking a white bottle. He poured the water out onto the woman causing her skin to crackle and burn in unimaginable pain. He then placed the cross to her head and begun speaking in ancient Mistralian. This seemed to have work, after a few moments he had finally broken the demons hold on the poor girls mind. Sadly, it seems not to be the case. She had pushed him aside and leaned up with blacken veins emerging from her eyes.

"We… are… many." She hissed.

"What?" The Priest asked.

The woman then broke free from her shackles and broke the glass mirror. Before anyone could stop her, she slit her own throat. The Priest begged for her to stop but it was too late. She had cut her carotid artery and bled out then and there. The Priest stood in shock and horror as the family cried in horror. The screams filled the air as the priest continued to stare. This night forever shattered this man's faith. For we see him a year later. Swirling his car as he guzzled pure absinthe from the bottle. As he drove, his car ran over a rock and nearly caused him to crash into a tree. He slurred his words as he struggled to get out of the car. When he did his eyes turn to what was in front of him. The estate that he had nightmares about. The very same one that the group was trapped in. The view pulls in through the front unbroken window, transitioning into the here and now.

Currently at the manner, 7 hours to sunrise

Sun went through his friend's pocket. The group watches with respect for the dead as Sun pulled out a small scroll of some kind from his jacket. He undoes the twin and revealed that it was two papers rolled up. A picture of a symbol and a separate parchment containing the instructions. Once retrieved Sun place the blanket over his friend's head before patting him stomach.

"Thanks, old friend… kind of mad that you kept being in a cult a secret… but eh who am I kidding. Just make's you cooler." Sun said giving a small nod to his friend before handing off the instructions.

Jaune takes the paper and begins to read the instructions, aloud. "The ritual symbol must be drawn in ash and sand seven feet on each side from the center point. Three of the artifacts must be placed onto the marked points of the symbol. Fourth artifact must be placed in the center of the inner triangle."

As Jaune read, the Grounds Keeper brought in darkened sand that was mixed with ash. From there the group quickly got to work setting down the blacken sand like the photo. They then put the relics on four different mini pillars. Along with that some candles for light. As they had set this up Jaune came across one problem.

"Um, guy's. It says here that it requires that someone has to be seated in the center." Jaune said pointing to the center of this mystic druid pentagram.

"Wait seriously?" Nora asked.

"Yeah it say's, One must sit in the center triangle and wrap the black cord around the fourth artifact seven times, while another recites the binding and location." Jaune pointed out.

"So… who's going to wrap this thing up?" Penny asked.

The room went silent. Nobody wanted to do it. After all, if this fail then something bad will likely happen. Even Weiss was hesitant to entering this circle. She may not believe in spirits but from what she had witness it's probably for the best not to enter. After a few uncomfortable seconds Ruby replies.

"I'll do it." Ruby said as she grabbed one of the relics. Before she entered Blake stopped her.

"No, you shouldn't. You already risked your life as is." Blake said before going for the Relic.

"And like I said before. I won't sacrifice anyone else." Ruby said as she kept the relic away.

"But you don't have to prove anything. You already have before this terrible place." Weiss protested.

"Still doing it. And there is nothing you guys can say to convince me otherwise." Ruby said before taking a step into the circle. "Now, Jaune. What's the next step?"

"Um, well… ah. So it says right here that we need to be seated. While I recite the chant, you take the thread and bound the relic with it." Jaune explains before grabbing the thread from the ground. He tossed it to her and the group got into position. Sitting down as the Butler dims the lights. Once seated Jaune begins to ritual.

"Eh hem… With the thread of the crimes of your own design, I bind your evil seven times. I bind you from behind, I bind you from before that you'll hurt my people nevermore." Jaune begins as the room slowly begin to creek then just like magic the room begins to shake and moan. A dark fog ascends from above. Seeing this Jaune dared not stop reading.

"I bind you from the left, I bind you from the right. I bind you day by day and I bind you by night. I bind you from below, I bind you from above. I bind you with your own evil within so let this magic unfold." Jaune continued on as the fog envelopes the room, causing it to shake and candles to blow out. Suddenly the pegs the relics were resting on came undone on by one. The relic in Ruby's hand that she was binding begin to shake rapidly like an evil was trying to wrestle out of her grip. This all came to ahead when Jaune finished the chant. "Goddess of the darkest night, bind the presence that haunts this home in thy sacred fires of eternity!"

Suddenly the room goes completely quiet and the smoke disappeared out the broken window. The group looked around. Wondering if they had successfully defeated the evil within the estate… only for the fog to come back in and up the chimney. Scaring everyone with a demonic laughter at their pitiful attempt to remove it from there home. As it suck's itself back up the chimney a black Box that was secretly hidden within. After a few moments of silence jaune was first to speak.

"… I don't think it worked." Jaune said sheepishly.

"You think?!" Weiss snapped.

"Did you do something wrong, or was the evil just taunting us part of the ritual?" Sun asked just as annoyed as Weiss.

"Guy's I don't know what to say. This wasn't suppose happen." Jaune said in his defense as he relooked over the ritual instruction.

"Yeah. Maybe we have the wrong ritual or something?" Nora said on his friends defense.

As the group broke down into bickering and arguments about what went wrong, Ruby noticed the black box and walked on over to it. As she walks on over, Blake and Penny who were staying out of the argument noticed Ruby holding a strange box in hand. Calling out she drew everyone's attention to Ruby.

"Ruby, what do you have in your hand?" Blake called out.

"Um, I don't know it fell when the evil return." Ruby said presenting it to everyone.

"Perhaps it's a clue of some sort?" Penny suggested.

"Maybe." Ruby said with a shrug. She opened the small box to find a tightly fitted key inside along with a note. She then read the note aloud. "I've cast out demonic spirits and seen the face of the old witch herself, but nothing could prepare me for what I found here."

"Understatement of the century." Sun said interrupting Ruby.

"Yep." Ruby chirped before continued where she left off. "This is truly the house that evil built. It haunts my every moment and as the days pass, I see more innocent lives devoured in its terrible mouth. I'm trapped in the back basement? Until I can find release from the evil."

"Wait, so someone besides us and the staff is still here?" Jaune asked.

"Pft, man must be either a dolt or insane." Weiss remarks at the idea of staying behind.

"Well, guess we should find him. I mean it's not like we got any other clues to go on." Nora remarks.

"(Sigh) And I was hoping this would be the end of this nightmare." Blake added as she grabs the key and head to the door. Purposely kicking one of the relics in frustration.

The Butler chose to remain behind as the rest head to the back of the estate. Sun and Penny pointed out the basement. Neither one has been inside since the Ungodly machine. The place had multiple doors that led in a maze-like direction. After poking around for a few moments did they finally found a door that excepted the key. Upon entering the room did they find it decorated with a number of religious knickknacks. From Buddha to Montyisim, to the god of Animals, and the two brothers. In the center of the room was a fox faunas. Rambling on in what seems like a prayer of sorts. As they enter, he quickly turns around with a mad look in his eye.

"Don't!" He screams out to them causing everyone in the room to freeze. "D-Don't come any closer. I know not what torment the evil in this house has sent for but I shall send you back to your master if you dare think about approaching me!"

"Hey, we aren't working with the evil… well, I think all but one of us are." Jaune said turning to look at Sun for that. As the two stare Ruby couldn't help but notice the chalk circle that the Priest refused to leave.

"Say, that looks like the same circle we set upstairs." Ruby pointed out before asking the priest. "Um, how did you get yours to work?"

"It didn't this is but meager protection… but tell me child what were doing forging a ring of protection?" The Priest asked.

"Um, we were trying to bind the evil to the relics." Ruby explain causing the priest eyes to widen.

"Y-You collected all the cursed relics?" The Priest asked with excitement and astonishment in his voice.

"Yes we have… why? Are we not the first?" Weiss asked.

"Si, you have." The Priest said as he checks his pocket watch to find that it was less than 1 hour to midnight. "Did you successfully complete the ritual."

"No, seems the evil just came back and laughed at us." Blake answers much to her anger.

"I'd figure as much." The Priest said with shame before perking himself up and explaining what he knows. "From my stay I have learned that the evil in this house gathers its strength from its five former owners. Should they be released, that's when the demon will be weak enough to banish."

"Wait so not only did we had to collect those stupid relics, but now we need to evict some squatters?" Nora asked with an angry twitch in her eye.

"(Sigh) Apparently so." Weiss said rubbing her eyes in annoyance.

"This just get's better and better." Sun said as he rub's his eye, out of exhaustion rather than annoyance.

"Thankfully, I am one of the five former owners trapped here." The Priest said with a smile.

"Oh, so can we ask you leave?" Penny asked with hopes that he complies.

"Sadly I am bound to this house. The evil prevents us from leaving by using our own inner demons to bind us here. For me to leave this house… I need to restore my faith." The Priest explains before looking over at the door across from his. The sound of banging can be heard from within. Shocking everyone as sounds of something unholy came from within. "I lost my faith when I failed to exercise a demon from an innocent child… so to restore my faith, I need you to retrieve my cross."

"A cross… alright, where is it located?" Weiss asked.

"Unfortunely… it's guarded by the same monster that took my faith." The Priest said pointing to the door across from his. The one that continues to bang with demonic noises coming from the other side. "To retrieve my cross you must… must perform an exorcism."

Those words alone cause a massive serge of no's from the group. Even Weiss fully disagreed with that. However the Priest was insistent upon it. "I'm sorry but it's the only way to escape this horrible place. For you to preform you need to gather holy water and a rosary. I believe I saw the two upstairs in the guest's room's on second floor."

He then reaches over and picks up a bible from the side table before passing it along to Penny. "This is my bible. Please take it. You will need it."

"Thanks… I think." Penny said as he looked down at the Bible.

"Don't thank me child. Now that you are seeking the tools for the exorcism. Demon's will torment your waking moments from now on." The Priest explains. Before he formed an invisible cross with his hand. "Go now. May Oum with his infinite wisdom give you strength for which I have not."

The group then leave heading the second floor. They were exhausted from all this running and screaming they had done for the past five hours done nothing but go on multiple goose hunts with no end in sight. With heavy heart they head upstairs to the second floor. There are two doors the group had yet to check and surprisingly they weren't lock this time. Splitting up into two groups, Jaune, Ruby, Sun, and Weiss entered a room with a Basin and Blake, Nora, and Penny entered into a room with a large cabinet. Upon entering the door slammed shut behind them and the heat became unbearable.

"Monty almighty." Weiss said as she covered her mouth from the fright.

"Don't say the lord's name in vain." Sun said cheekily.

"Seriously? I think now of all times it would be appropriate." Weiss hissed back before removing her blazer and rolling up her sleeves.

"… Yeah suppose your right." Sun said as he undoes his bow tie.

Shockingly the entire sequence Sun had yet to remove the bowtie from his neck or unbutton his shirt. Now with the sudden increase in tempter he was reminded why he hates suits. Jaune did the same but only unbuttoning the top collar, leaving his unwrapped bow tie around his neck. Ruby was fine with the increase temperature seeing she had left her coat downstairs to dry. As the four adjust to the new temperature Ruby spotted a silver platter with a picture of water and a glass cup. Along with a card that she read aloud.

"When the holy water is complete… N'LL IMBBE OEPG IEPB!" Before Ruby could even finish her sentence a horrific scream can be heard as blacken dust floated all around them. Voice's from the smoke caused the four to huddle together as the demonic spirits tormented them.

Meanwhile in the other room Penny entered with Nora and Blake. The room they entered had a huge cabinet. On the top of the cabinet was the words Revelation, alongside a number of demons on the left door and one angle on the right. The door was locked with a number combination lock. The group went scavenging for something when it suddenly got hot.

"Monty almighty, when did it get so hot?" Nora asked as she removed her Boa from her neck.

"It seems the heat in this room has increase by .666 Fahrenheit per second." Penny confirmed as she removes her coat.

"Ironic… wait, how do you know that?" Nora asked with a suspicious glance.

"Oh um, I'm just good with… Math." Penny lied with fake grin.

Nora stared at her with suspicion. Penny begin to sweat bullets as Nora continued to stare on. Eventually Blake intervened as she removed her minx coat. "Regardless we should get going. Before we are cooked ali… L'GLE VENJV HE VLH OEP!"

Suddenly a black mist came out of the door pushing past them with multiple voices of demonic origin. The three girls were pushed back into a corner as the black mist push around them. It swirled around the room mocking them in demonic tongues before eventually dissipating into the ceiling. After a few moments of silent shock, Nora finally spoke.

"… Um, do you think Weiss believes in demonic stuff now?" Nora asked.

"Well if we survive this I'll ask her." Blake said before breaking off from the group to look for clues.

As they look around for the number to the wardrobe, the other group were looking around for a number matching with 5:17. After looking around Weiss realized that 5:17 was a bible verse. Finding a spare bible in the room she read from the passage, "And the priest shall take holy water in a earthen vessel; and the priest shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water."

It wasn't a helpful clue but a clue. After five minutes of searching, Jaune managed to find a letter with a lot of dust inside. Along with that instructions on the front. Just before he could read it, another wave of demon's appeared, this time in the form of the late Yang. She dropped down from the ceiling, hanging a few inches from the bed. After a few seconds she gurgled out some words, to sow doubt and despair into Ruby's soul.

"S-Sister… why did you kill me…" The ghostly aspiration asked in a low demonic tone.

"I-I didn't… it was…" Before Ruby could even finish the apparition once more spoke. This time in an aggressive tone.

As difficult as it was to understand her. Those words cut deep into Ruby's soul. The words of this demonic presents became incomprehensible, but it has already succeeded in what it was trying to do. To add insult to injury it proceeded to vomit up the same plastic substance. Recreating the same death her beloved sister went through.

As this vision of torment was happening, the other group had searched the room looking for any clues to help unlock the wardrobe. As they looked around, they found a handful of cards. Each one had a name that a demon would have. As they collected the name's an idea popped into Blakes head. There are 13 demons, one angle and revelations. She quickly grabbed the bible from Penny and flipped to the revelations page. Sure enough she found it. Reading aloud the inscription. "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, I saw a beast rise up from the sea. Having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God." It then clicked that this might be the code. So She inserted into the lock, 7-1-0-1 Sure enough it came unlocked. With excitement they open the door before a decrepit corpse of Ren comes stumbling out.

"N-Nora… why did you… let them bury me?" The demonic aspiration of Ren asked as he crookedly shamble to Nora. "I… I thought… Y-You L-Love M-Me?"

"Renny, I… I…" Before Nora could even respond. The demonic creature had quickly flashed in front of her face. No longer looking like her beloved Ren. Rather a rotting corpse form of his body. He twitched his head painfully so before speaking in a demonic tone.

Eventually all that remains of poor Ren was the bones on the floor. Even then, that too was turn to dust.

As Nora cried for her best friend and secret crush, the other room was dealing with the similar effects of the demonic mockery. Weiss went to comfort Ruby who was left a mess on the ground. As she comforts her partner Jaune and Sun once again got to work figuring out the next clue. What was written on the letter envelope containing the dust. "Combine with Purified water, look to Saint Neath Oum" Looking around, they found pretty quickly an oil painting of Saint Neath being crucified. On his cross was a set of numbers, cleverly drawn into the painting. "+II -V +X +I -III" After some confusing math they found the number of glass's needed to fill the Basin. Quickly grabbing the pitcher Jaune poured the dust of the Tabernacle inside before pouring it into the glass that Sun was holding. They proceeded to do these four more times, as a result a hidden compartment opens beneath the Basin.

Back over in the other Room. Blake comforted Nora who was having a panic attack. She held emotions for Ren, yet she never got the chance to express those feelings. As she sobbed into her knees, Penny got to work on the cabinet. Inside was a puzzle of sort. A carving of crowned seven serpents with wheels at the head of each one. Written on a plaque in the back was another clue. She read the instructions aloud, "Find the seven blasphemous names scattered throughout the room. Turn the corresponding dial to the first letter of their name in alphabetical order."

She quickly got to work sorting through the names the group had found. Thankfully they had collected all before opening the door. She organized in the following order; Belial, Dantalion, Forneus, Incubus, Moloch, Raum, and Xaphan. Going over to the board she spin the wheel knobs to match the first letter. Upon completing, one of the cubbies unlocked and inside was a rosery along with a letter. She collected them before getting Blake and Nora to leave the room. Nora was more then happy to leave this accursed room once and for all, but still needed Blake to carry her out.

Over in the other room Jaune removed a small paper from underneath the Basin. Pulling it out it reveals a prayer. So he recites it. "Oh Water I exercise you that you may put to flight, all the power of the enemy. Though the power of our lord will come to judge the living and the dead by fire. Amen"

With those words the water suddenly begins to glow a heavenly light. The wat had been purified, now it's time to collect it. Sun had found a bottle earlier on and used it to collect the water. Upon corking it, the group quickly left with Blake assisting Ruby down the stairs. When they came downstairs, they found there three friends sitting silently side by side. With Blake comforting Nora, while Penny was keeping her distance.

"What happen?" Jaune asked?

"Those demons. They manifest themselves' s as Ren." Blake explained, quietly trying hard not to upset Nora anymore then what she went through. "He um, said something's that disturbed her."

"The same with Ruby as well, but with Yang." Weiss explained as she pass Ruby off to Jaune.

"Monty almighty. I'm… I'm sorry that she had to go through that." Blake said in a gasp of shock.

"Yeah… first thing I'm going to do is burn this accursed place to the ground." Jaune said with spite in his tone.

"If we survive that is." Blake pointed out.

"Well considering we have been dealing with spirits it may be possible to burn this place even when dead." Weiss said half-jokingly with a despair look in her eyes.

Blake gave a small snort but soon retracted it with some guilt. With so many dead, she felt guilty for laughing. Or at least her version of one. The two sat down on the couch. Jaune was working to comfort both Ruby and Nora. This was one of the lowest points that the group was in, and seeing that four friends died horrible that was saying a lot. Shame that it was going to get even lower. The letter Penny grabbed along with the Rosery had further instructions as well as a key. For them to retrieve the cross two must participate in the exorcist. One to fill the role as the first Exorcist, and another to fill a role for the second Exorcist. Before the vote could begin Blake called for everyone to speak on the side. Jaune unfortunely couldn't go because both Nora and Ruby needed someone to cry on, and Jaune happened to be sitting in between them. Blake then spoke to the group in a hush tone.

"Alright, we can't vote either Nora or Ruby in. What they went through upstairs, it wouldn't be right." Blake said in a hush tone.

"That would mean we will be increasing our chances of dying." Penny said in an analyst.

"Maybe but I can't see either of them going in." Blake remarks.

"Agreed. What that demon said to Ruby wasn't right." Weiss said in agreement.

"I'm down, but if I die someone has to burn this stupid house to ground." Sun stated, wanting to make sure his friends last request is fulfilled.

"Trust me we're all in on agreement with that one." Weiss guaranteed.

"Right, what about Jaune?" Penny asked.

"Knowing him. He will toss my name in." Sun said with an annoyed look.

"Well, then I won't vote for you Sun." Blake remarks.

"Seconded." Penny added.

"Alright then, are we all in agreement?" Blake asked.

The four shook their head in agreement before heading back on over to room. The Butler had brought over the hat and the voting began. Everyone, one by one tossed a name into the hat. He then gave it a good shake before slowly reaching in. After shifting about he pulled out the first name to act as the first exorcist was. Weiss. This came as a bit of a shock but then again. This was Weiss first challenge. Hopefully she will survive. The Butler then shifted through the hat once more and pulled out another parchment. This one reading Weiss again. He set it aside before reaching in and pulling out a third parchment, that also has Weiss's name on it. Weiss shocked that two to three of friends put her name in that hat, she was about to voice her anger when another name was called. This time, it was Sun.

"Guess, I'll be teaming up with the princess." Sun said as he stands up.

"You mean going against each other." Weiss said with some concern. Sun went into one challenge, and he came out alive. So the odds don't look good in her favor.

"Well, the challenge said that it requires two, but it doesn't say about fighting to the death or something. We might be able to get out alive like the last game." Sun said with some confidence.

"Perhaps… guess we should get this over with." Weiss said as she stands up. She and Sun led by the butler downstairs with Rosery and holy water in hand. Before she left, she quickly race back and grabbed the key, nearly forgetting that. She then left a spiteful remark, "Who ever voted me in, you better pray I don't come back because I will kick your ass."

She then quickly races back over Sun and the two head down into back basement. They came to the room that was across from the priest. The one that a demon was banging on. With a sigh, Weiss unlocked the door, and the two head inside. To find a dark room. However upon entering deeper inside the door slammed shut right behind them. Trapping the two in the dark. The two went back-to-back, terrified about what's around when a candle suddenly flicked up. Illuminating a small table with paper on it. The two had no idea what to do so, they approach the table. Weiss picked up the paper and begin to read it.

"To exercise a demon of this strength, it requires the effort of two exorcists. The second exorcist must take the rosary and holy water and complete four steps while the first exorcist holds down the victim no matter how hard they fight back." Weiss read aloud, causing her to look up at Sun. He had unbutton halfway down his shirt, revealing his abs. If they had to hold down a possessed demon then it would have made more sense if Sun did it. With a sigh she continues. "(Sigh) The Second exorcist must complete the first three task's with the final step being revealed to you upon completion."

She then found the list and instructions on a separate page before handing it to Sun. She then went on to finish the instructions. "The first must repeat the chant, 'Saint Miles, Arch angel, be our protection from the wickedness and banish this evil.' May Monty protect you both."

"That's all?" Sun asked.

"Seems so." Weiss states as she memorized the line.

"Well, now the only question is, where's the demon?" Sun asked with a shrug. Suddenly the lights flicker on, behind them on a rotting bed was a woman in her undergarments. Bound by rope she moved and crawled about in painful way's. Letting out a banshee wail causing the two to scream in horror and shock.

"Well… um that… answers your question." Weiss said uncomfortable by the horrific display's the possessed girl was showing. She was obviously terrified but for them to escape she needed to continue to hold that girl down and chant like there is no tomorrow.

She gave a sigh before charging towards the possessed girl. She held her arm tightly and the girl begin to shake violently, trying to break free from Weiss grasp. As she held her, chanting the prayer, Sun got to work with the ritual. The first step was to draw a cross at the base of the bed, and line it with candles on all points to form a star. He quickly spots some chalk and got to work drawing the cross and placing the candles to form a star. Once completed he scramble to find a censer. As he looks for it the demon tossed everything at them, demonic energy pushed down a bookshelf, sent glass bottles and candle holders flying, even going as far to vomit on Wiess. Yet neither stopped. Sun found the Censer and set it in the center, the next step was to draw the Alpha and Omega symbols beside it. That was the third step and sure enough the last set of instructions came flying out of a box. He quickly picked it up and scrambled to unfold the paper. As he does, the possessed girl flipped her head all the way back and started to float. Yet Weiss refuse to let go. So it started to converse violently. In a fit of panic Sun skimmed the instructions before racing over to complete it. He uncorked the bottle and poured it from head to toe and put the rosery onto Weiss. The girl fell back down to the bed and Weiss let's go. She begins to violently shake before going still.

"Weiss? WEISS!" Sun screams in horror as he raced over to her. He took one look at her and he realized she was dead.

Blood was leaking from her eyes, mouth, and nose. He thought he done the ceremony right. Quickly checking the fourth step again, he found out he did the exorcist perfectly. To complete the exorcist, he had to pour the holy water from head to toe, then put the Rosary on either him or Weiss. Who ever he put the Rosery on, would complete the exorcist… but kill the poor unfortunate soul. Upon realization Sun falls to his knees in complete shock at what he had done.

"Oh Monty… Weiss I… oh Monty… I… I promised Neptune to protect you… and I… failed him." Those where the only words Sun could blabber out before falling to his knees and beginning to cry.

He let out a shriek in horror and defeat as he held his head. He had failed to protect Wiess, he had failed Neptune. He had failed. Sun wept in self loaving and despair when he notice a pair of dirty feet before him. He slowly looked up to see the woman that was possessed above him. She looked down with frightened but thankful eyes, she slowly knelt down to his level and handed him something. A cross. Sun continued to weep, but eventually taking it. She then whispered in a hush tone a simple phrase.

"… T-h-a-n-k y-o-u…"

She then got up and walked to the door. Leaving Sun alone in the room. Sun continues to grieve, for five minutes he continued before finally picking himself up. He looked over at Weiss's dead body one last time. He had failed his best friend and killed another. So he managed to muster only a few words before exiting.

"Weiss I'm… please… forgive me." Sun said before leaving the room.

He didn't return upstairs, rather walking on over to the Priest room. He was still in there, remaining within the circle of protection. When Sun appeared, he noticed the cross in hand… and the mournful look in Sun's eyes. He couldn't begin to describe how joyful he was but he knew it came at a terrible cost.

"Take you cross." Sun said as he thrust it forward.

"I… I'm sorry my child. I don't know what pain that you have gone through to get this…" The priest said trying to comfort poor Sun. But those were hollow words to him.

"No… you don't." Sun said spitefully.

The Priest was about to offer some kind words when the Butler walked on in. The Priest made a strange face before retracting it. He quickly turn around and grabbed a sleek black book before handing it off to Sun.

"I… I can never repay this kindness, but for you and your friends to escape you will need this. My journal." The Priest said offering it to Sun. He then went on to explain. "I kept the journal with my observations of the other owners. This will help you find them. May you find peace my son. For there no matter how we leave we shall forever be changed."

Sun didn't even look him in the eye. He just said simply. "Get… out."

The Priest nods and walked on out. Finally, free from that accursed home, he heads out the door and up the stairs before disappearing entirely. Sun remained behind in the room. Looking over the pictures of holy figures. Eventually with a sigh he left the room, deprived of all hope and as faithless as the priest was once was. The Butler led him back the Lounge where the group saw only Sun entering and just Sun. The group has different reactions to this. Ruby falls onto Jaune and sobs even louder. Nora's eyes goes wide in shame. Penny gasped in shock. And Blake… the look on her face was absolutely deprived of all emotion. She felt so many pings of guilt that she didn't even know how to react. Sun made his way to her before handing off the book to her. After a few moments of silence, the guilt finally ate away at Sun and he spoke.

"Weiss… she's dead… and I killed her." Sun spoke shamefully as the view goes dark.
