Yo! Surprised to see me again so soon? I DID mention in the previous chapter that I've finished writing this. I'm just editing slowly due to my vision. Thank you to all readers so far!

The fury that was coursing through Marvolo was also on full display in the storm that was currently raging outside the manor.

Harry was the first one to snap out of what almost felt like a fear-induced stupor, and he realized Marvolo really needed to calm down. The Dark Lord clearly wasn't going to be able to calm himself down though, so Harry decided to take the initiative. Frankly, he was probably the only one in the room brave enough to even try.

Taking Marvolo by the hand, he pulled him up to his feet and began to lead him out of the sitting room. "We'll just be out in the hall," he called over his shoulder. He knew it wasn't a good idea to go far, so this was going to have to do.

As soon as the door fell shut behind them, Harry practically slammed Marvolo against the wall and grabbed his face in his hands. "Calm down, Marvolo. I don't know what you've found or learned, but no matter what it is, we aren't going to be able to do anything if you're so angry you can barely even move."

"Harry-"

Harry shook his head. "You have to calm down so we can take action. Because we all know we need your help if we ever want to get out of this damned manor."

"You will be just as angry, if not more so, when you find out what I have learned," said Marvolo tensely.

"And if I am, it'll be up to you to snap me out of that anger," said Harry calmly. "We all need to be able to think and focus clearly, because if we don't, there's a good chance we're all going to die. And just because you're immortal, doesn't mean the rest of us are. And besides," said Harry, his hands lowering to Marvolo's chest as he lowered his head, "we're the only ones who know about Horcruxes. What're the others going to do if we go and lose our minds and control because we're angry?"

Marvolo listened to the words, then sighed softly, dropping his head back against the wall. He understood what Harry was saying, agreed with it too, and finally began to calm. But that didn't mean he was feeling any better about this. "Since we are already out here alone," he said after a moment, I may as well tell you what I have learned first, before we return to the others."

Harry blinked, a little surprised, but then nodded. "Oh, alright. What is it?"

And of course, as soon as Harry found out what Marvolo had to say, the tables were swiftly turned and it was Marvolo who now had to make Harry calm down, just as they'd both predicted. Marvolo just found himself repeating similar words Harry had said to him, his own large hands cradling Harry's face to ensure he looked at him, and a few minutes later, they were both back in control and prepared to return to the sitting room.

The others, who had been quietly talking among themselves, fell silent as soon as the two entered, and while they were all relieved that Marvolo seemed to have calmed down from his earlier rage, they were also quick to realize that something was very wrong. Both Harry and Marvolo looked stoic. That wasn't normal for Harry, and they all knew that.

Unable to trust his voice at the moment, Harry said nothing and just allowed Marvolo to explain everything. It would make more sense this way anyway, he knew. He wouldn't even know where to start if he tried to do it himself.

"That Snitch," said Marvolo, "is not a Horcrux. I thought it was because it feels incredibly similar to one. However, after spending some time holding it, I began to feel a difference. It is an extremely minute difference, which is why I did not notice it immediately."

There was quite a bit of surprise at those words, but Marvolo wasn't done yet, and continued speaking.

"While the Snitch does not contain a soul piece, it does contain magic, and not only Dumbledore's. It contains Harry's magic, and the two younger Weasleys', and Granger's, Longbottom's, Draco's, Nott's, Zabini's and I assume Lovegood's as well, considering there was one last bit of magic I was not able to match to any of yours, though it was similar enough. This is why I checked all of you," he said to the named few. "I was comparing the magic in your magical cores with the magic I could feel inside the Snitch."

"But-but why is that?" said Hermione, looking more confused than Harry was sure he'd ever seen her before. "Why is our magic in the Snitch?"

"I cannot say why or how it happened, but it seems like at some point, a small magical siphon was placed on all of you. This siphon then took a small amount of your magic from your magical cores and placed it into the Snitch, which is being used as a...container, of sorts. Considering no one else has had this happen to them, I suspect it took place while you all were still in school, before Dumbledore's death, but sometime after the Weasley twins left the castle, considering their own magic is not in the Snitch."

"But...I don't remember anything like that happening," said Ginny slowly. "Wouldn't-wouldn't we know about it?"

"I don't remember anything either," said Blaise, agreeing with Ginny. "Dumbledore would have had to call us to his office for something like that, wouldn't he? I don't remember ever stepping foot in there."

Marvolo wasn't surprised in the slightest. "Dumbledore has likely obliviated the memory of it from all of you. It would hardly be the first time he has manipulated the minds of others. He has always been quite fond of doing so."

Naturally, there was quite a bit of anger when they heard that. They didn't know Dumbledore's reasoning for doing any of this, but just the fact that he'd even done it was absolutely infuriating to them all.

"Will we ever be able to get that magic back?" asked Theodore hesitantly.

"If the tether connecting you all to the siphon is severed, then yes," said Marvolo. "Fortunately, I know of a spell capable of doing just that."

"Will we notice any difference when we get the magic back?" asked Hermione, head cocked curiously.

"It is unlikely," said Marvolo. "These sorts of siphons are specifically designed to take only a small amount of magic. It is a rather useless siphon, actually. The amount of magic it takes is so small that it makes no real difference, even when taken from a number of people at once. I have no idea why Dumbledore would want to bother with this, seeing as there is no real benefit for him, and nor is there any real consequence for those the magic is being taken from."

Okay, yeah, that did sound pretty useless. If what Marvolo was saying was true, and it wasn't like he had any reason to lie, why would Dumbledore bother doing something like this? And why to them? Why only them? There had been plenty of other students in their years with them, so why them specifically? And if he was after the ones who were sixth years at the time, why Ginny and probably also Luna, who'd been fifth years? What was the point?

"Okay, wait," said Tonks abruptly. "If that Snitch isn't a Horcrux, then doesn't that mean that Dumbledore's actually dead? And then doesn't that mean that someone else is behind all of this? Behind us being here and everything?"

"Not quite."

"Not-not quite?"

Marvolo looked at them all coolly, but they had a feeling that was more for him to mask how he was really feeling about all of this. "Just because this Snitch is not a Horcrux, does not mean that one does not exist. A Horcrux absolutely belonging to Dumbledore is still in this room with us."

Everyone started looking around immediately from where they sat, as if trying to catch a glimpse of another out of place object like the Snitch, though they weren't able to see anything odd.

"But...what is it?" asked McGonagall finally. "What could Albus have possibly made a-a Horcrux out of?"

"...Me."

That's it for now. You should, hopefully, get the next one in two or three days. Looking forward to reviews! Laterz!
