At home

'Pizza, again?' Granger asked after opening the door to see the pizza guy delivering pizza.

'I'm too tired to cook, dear. Please understand.' Hetty tiredly replied.

'Don't you think you're taking on too much with this party though?'

'Look, Mr. Callen wanted help trying to throw a party for Anna, and since he knows nothing about a great party, I'm going to show him what a great party is like!'

For the past 2 weeks, Hetty had been really busy with planning the party, and it had been showing. She was too tired to cook, had struggled with staying awake at work, and was cranky most of the time.

'With the way you're going, you're going to be too tired to enjoy the party.' Granger remarked.

'Sigh. I just need to make the food, decorate the party hall, make sure the drinks are delivered, and I'm done. I'm going to bed.' Hetty grumpily replied.

At the party hall the next day

'No! No, the flowers go over there!' Hetty exclaimed at the florist.

After making sure the flowers were in their right place, Hetty went to take a break.

After breathing a heavy sigh, her phone dinged, it was a text that said:

'When you're done, come home. I have a surprise for you-Your big lug.'

Hetty chuckled wearily.

When she got home, exhausted. She saw a trail of rose petals leading up to the stairs, and she knew what it meant.

'Oh Owen, as sweet as this is, I just don't know.' She thought, giving a tired smile.

In the bedroom

'Well hey there! Come on over, You look like you need a good time.' Granger said when Hetty walked in.

She chuckled lightly.' As amazing as this sounds. I'm afraid I won't be very active given how tired I feel right now.'

'Just, come on over anyway. We haven't had much time alone in awhile, and I think you know that something inside of you wants to just relax.'

Heaving a deep sigh. 'Okay. But just for a few minutes. I still have stuff to do.'

The next morning

Hetty woke up and checked her alarm clock.

'Did we really sleep all night?' Hetty asked.

'Mmm. Yeah. We were kissing then at 1 point you just rolled over and went to sleep.' Granger replied, waking up.

'I still have stuff to do, and I don't feel like rushing around. Huh.'

'No need to worry, I already got the rest of the team to do your remaining chores.'

'You didn't have to do that.' Hetty said.

'I needed to. And you know that you were getting close to fully snapping with the way you were rushing around.' Granger replied.

'Well, thank you for knowing me so well, and. Leaning in closer. Can we finish what we started from last night?'

'Can we eat first?'

'Good idea. I'm hungry.'
