Valentine's Day was fast approaching. The team was all excited, mainly because Hetty was throwing the whole office a huge Valentine's Day party! Set to take place on the 13th.

Hetty was looking forward to spending the day with her sweetie, but then a few days before the party, Granger was called for a meeting overseas.

'I don't think I'll be able to make it home in time for the party.' Granger unhappily said.

'Don't lose hope! I have a surprise for you.' Hetty replied.

But alas. The night of the party, Hetty was the only 1 at the party without a date.

'Feeling glum?' Nell asked.

'Good guess.' Hetty gloomily replied.

'Care to let it out?'

'Well, This party was my idea, and I'm the only 1 here without a date. He said earlier that he's on his way home, but he won't get home until close to midnight when everyone will have gone home. And I even had a surprise for him!'

'Want to say what it is?' Nell asked.

Hetty whispered it.

'That's very nice!'

'Yeah. Except I'm feeling too stood up to really think about it.' Hetty replied.

'You want my advice? Do it for him anyways. He's more then likely hurting as well, and music has a way of healing people.'

As much as Hetty wanted to dispute her, she had a point.

Before midnight

Granger was feeling like a guilty rat as he drove to the office. He had stood up his own wife at her own party! Who knows what she was thinking of.

The whole office was empty, as predicted.

Then all of a sudden, A serene voice started to sing 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You.' It was Hetty, looking beautiful as ever in a pink suit.

'This was her surprise?! She looks so beautiful.' He thought.

When she was done singing, Owen was having a hard time trying to fight back tears.

'Are you okay?' Hetty asked.

'No! I stood youup at your own party, and I feel terrible! You're the most amazing woman ever, and you deserved to sing this in front of everyone!' Then he went over to the couch to sulk.

Hetty sat down next to him, gave him her softest look and said: 'Was I unhappy that you didn't show up? Yes. I was actually planning on avoiding you for most of tomorrow. But a good friend convinced me not to, and I'm glad she did because you look more miserable then I was!'

'I'm really sorry. You were amazing.' Granger sadly replied. 'You didn't have to postpone your surprise for me.'

'Actually, the plan was to wait until everyone had left to sing for you.'

'Really?'

'Really. Singing a romantic song like that in front of everyone made me too nervous.'

'Well, thank you. You sure you're not mad at me?' Granger cautiously asked.

'Absolutely.' Hetty replied. 'In fact, I have 1 more surprise.'

She grabbed the remote, turned it to the radio, clicked the Play button, and Christina Perri's 'A 1000 years' started to play.

'May I have this dance?' Hetty sweetly asked.

Smiling, Granger took her hand, led her to the dance floor, and they shared a beautiful dance.

And when it was over

'Happy Valentine's Day, Henrietta.'

'Happy Valentine's Day, Owen.'

Then they sealed their beautiful night with a long kiss.
