Jaune and Courage the Cowardly Dog
Chap 73: Muriel Meets her Match
'Hmm?' Courage asked, confused. He and I were looking out the front windows of the house as the sirens of the passing police car fade into the distance.
'Wonder who they are chasing?' I wondered as well.
"I have meant to ask this for a while, but what is the crime rate of Nowhere?" Winter asked while taking a sip of her tea.
"Aside from the weird creepy events that happen, the actual crime rate is low. Very rarely does a real crime happen here. And when it does happen, it's usually a minor one." I answered as Courage, and I went back over to the couch.
"That's good." Weiss said while taking a sip of her tea as well.
"Also, I have been wondering, how long did it take for you to get used to this town's form of currency?" Willow asked, curious. Courage and I looked at each other in confusion for a moment before answering.
"About a week and a half. What took me the most trouble was using the name of the currency and not calling it lien. Aside from that, both are almost the same." I answered after giving it a moment's thought. "Why?"
"We have been considering buying a vacation house here in Nowhere. To get away from all the stress and expectations of Atlas." Winter answered.
"Oh, that's nice." I said, smiling. It would be nice to see them more often, and Nowhere is a good place for vacation to get away from everything if you don't count all the weird and creepy things that happen here.
"Wait, before I forget." Weiss said, getting our attention. "I heard from Blake and Ruby that Roman and Neo now live here. Is that true?"
"Roman and Neo live here?" Winter asked, shocked.
"Yes. Not too long ago, Roman and Neo moved here. They wanted to leave Vale as it was becoming too chaotic, thanks to Ozpin and Ironwoods. Now they live in the city of Nowhere. Roman operates a Tailor shop, and Neo runs an ice cream parlor." I answered.
"Do they..." Winter began while using her hand to finish what she was getting across.
"No. They haven't committed any crimes yet. Kept a clean record since moving here." I answered, which caused Winter to let out a sigh of relief.
"Okay. So, we don't have to worry about them." She said before taking another sip of her tea.
"Well, children. It is getting quite late. We better get to sleep." Willow told us as she put down her tea.
"Will you be joining us, mother?" Weiss asked.
"In a little while, dear. I need to speak with Ms. Bagge. Good night." She answered before getting off the couch and heading towards the kitchen.
"Good night, you two." I said, getting up from the couch. "Come on, Courage."
'Night.' Courage said, fighting through a yawn.
Getting off the couch, we went up the stairs to my room. Entering, I quickly changed into my pajamas before getting into bed. Pulling up the blankets, I turned to the left and turned off the night lamp. Once that was off, Courage leaped onto my bed. He then stretched a bit before lying down on my lap.
'What or who do you think the police were chasing?' He asked sleepily.
"I have no idea. But we will probably find out on the news tomorrow." I answered.
'Hopefully, it's nothing.' He said before falling asleep.
'Hopefully.' I mentally agreed. Letting out a yawn, I scratched Courage's head a bit before closing my eyes and falling asleep as well.
Next Day
Letting out a yawn as the morning sunlight hit my face, I stretched a bit before getting up. Only to remember that Courage was still asleep on my lap. Looking down, I saw that he was on his back with his tongue sticking out. Smiling, I gently shook him awake. He retracted his tongue into his mouth before stretching a bit while also letting out a yawn.
'Morning already?' He asked while getting up.
"Unfortunately. Better get up, though. I think I smell Muriel making her famous blueberry pancakes." I answered.
'Yay!' He cheered before hopping off my bed.
Smiling, I got up as well. Standing up, I quickly changed out of my pajamas and into my casual clothes. Once set, we exited my room before heading downstairs. Looking around, we saw Eustace sitting in his chair watching the news. On the couch next to him are Winter and Weiss. Both are having some coffee while giving a light glare at Eustace.
"Morning." Courage and I greeted them.
"Morning." They greeted us back as Courage, and I sat down on Muriel's chair. "What's happening on the news so far?"
"Nothing much. Just the weather." Winter answered.
"Going to be warm and clear for the following days. With only a small chance for rain on the weekend." Weiss added.
"Going to be good then." I said while scratching Courage's back.
"Morning Jaune. Morning Courage." Willow said, entering the room with a cup of coffee in her hand.
"Morning, Ms. Schnee." We greeted her back as she sat down next to her daughters. Turning back to the television, we watched the news, but nothing interesting caught our attention. Yet, that changed when a breaking news alert appeared.
'In great big diamond news, the grandmother diamond exhibit at the nowhere museum is attracting teeming hordes of tourists and jewel thieves.' The reporter announced, but before he could continue, the television suddenly turned to static.
"What's-huh? Dang blasted television. OH!" Eustace complained while throwing a tantrum.
"Calm down. It could just be the antenna that is the problem." Willow stated, annoyed.
"Darn antenna," Eustace grumbled while crossing his arms. We all just rolled our eyes in annoyance. Yet, before we could say anything, the doorbell rang.
"Are you expecting anyone?" Winter asked.
"No. I'll go check it out." I answered as I got up. "Coming Courage?"
'Sure.' He answered. Heading into the kitchen, we saw Muriel had already opened the door and was talking to a lady that bore a slight resemblance to her.
"Oh, good. You both are here. Jaune. Courage. Meet our new neighbor." Muriel
"New neighbor?" I asked, confused and surprised. Courage, meanwhile, growled at her as he already did not trust this. And neither did I.
"Yes. Your new neighbors. I'm Maria. My husband's and I had car trouble with our mobile home. And we moved into your backyard until we get it fixed." She explained.
"Oh, my." Muriel gasped. "Why don't you both come in for some tea?"
"I would love to. But my husband Manuel is very shy." Maria answered while pointing to her mobile home. Looking past her, we saw a figure waving to us from their mobile home window.
"Poor dear." Muriel said before moving to the side and allowing Maria into the house.
"I don't trust this." I said as Courage, and I looked back to the mobile home. Only to see that the figure we saw was just cardboard shaped like a person standing up. But what caught our attention was the hand that did not stop waving at us. Unaware that the cardboard had fallen to the ground.
'AAAHHHH!' Courage gasped in horror before closing the door.
"We better keep an eye on Maria and this so-called husband of hers." I told Courage as we went back to the living room.
"Who are you talking about?" Winter asked. Turning to her, we saw her, Weiss, and Willow smirking at the frustrated Eustace who was making a fool out of himself trying to fix the television.
"Our new neighbor Maria." I answered as Courage, and I went back to sit in Muriel's chair.
"How is she your new neighbor?" Willow asked, confused.
"She and her husband have a mobile home and had car trouble, so they parked in the backyard." I answered.
"Seems a little suspicious that, unless they were driving cross country, why are they here along this road? Nothing is past this house." Weiss asked.
"But that is not the strangest part." I added.
"What is?" Winter asked.
"Muriel invited Maria and her husband in for some tea, but Maria told us that her husband was very shy. She then pointed to her mobile home where we saw her husband waving at us." I began answering.
"But?" Weiss began already having a feeling of where this was going.
"After Maria entered the house, Courage and I looked back at the mobile home. And to our surprise, the figure that was waving us turned out to be just a cardboard cutout of a person. But even stranger was the fact the hand that was waving at us kept waving. Not knowing that the cardboard fell to the ground." I finished explaining.
"Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of it." Wiess began after giving it a moment to think what I told her, only to realize something immediately after. "Wait. Weren't the police chasing someone or something last night?"
"They were. Not sure if it is them, though. Either way, we better keep an eye on this Maria and her so-called husband." Willow answered.
"DANG, LOUSY TV ANTENNA!" Eustace shouted, cutting me off before I could say anything. Turning to him, we saw that he was now essentially about to rip the antennas off the television.
"That's not going to fix anything." Weiss said, annoyed yet smirking at Eustace's frustrations. But he did not hear her as he was focused entirely on the television.
"Everyone, meet our new neighbor, Maria." Muriel introduced while walking into the room with Maria by her side.
"Hello." Winter, Weiss and, Willow greeted her with a slight bow.
"Yeah, yeah. Neighbor." Eustace said, not caring what Muriel just said.
"Hey, one of you dumb kids. Take the dumb dog with you and check to see if the roof antenna is wobbling or something." He demanded.
"Fine. Come on, Courage." I said, getting up.
He groaned in annoyance but followed anyway. Walking to the door and opening it, we stepped outside and enjoyed the fresh air that greeted us. Knowing that we needed the ladder to get onto the roof to check on the antenna, we closed the door and walked down the porch. Only to spot the roof antenna a few feet away from us with some gardening shears next to it as well. We knew right away that Maria and whatever was waving at us earlier was responsible for cutting the roof antenna. Yet, the question remained why they did this. Picking the antenna up, we raced back into the house.
"Muriel. Eustace." I said, getting their attention as Courage grabbed the antenna and tried to explain what we found. But like usual, it fell on deaf ears.
"Dumb dog. Dumb kid. Dumb Tv. Dumb reception." Eustace complained before ripping off the tv antennas.
"We've got perfect reception in the Winnebago. Our casa is your casa." Maria offered. "Which means what's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine. All mine."
"How lovely." Muriel said, unaware of all the red flags that were going up.
"Works for me. He, he, he. Neighbor." Eustace laughed as he picked up the tv before heading outside to their mobile home.
"Marvelous. Now, let's have a cup of tea." Muriel said before guiding Maria back to the kitchen.
"She could not be more obvious without outright telling everyone directly that she is lying, going to steal from this place, and outright abusing Muriel's trust." Willow said through gritted teeth.
"The question now is what should we do?" Weiss asked.
"Nothing right now. But as soon as Maria makes a move, we will act." Winter answered. We all nodded in agreement as Maria and Muriel came back with tea for everyone.
"Thank you." Willow, Winter, and Weiss said while taking the tea before taking a sip from it.
"Thank you, Muriel." I said as she handed me my tea. She smiled before sitting down on the couch next to Maria.
"In what clever hiding spot do you keep valuables such as driver's license, birth certificate, deed to the family farm?" Maria asked.
"Well-" Muriel began but was stopped when Courage covered her mouth.
"Muriel. I don't you should tell her where we keep our valuables." I told her while glaring at Maria, who laughed at us. It became clear to the rest of us that she knew we were onto her. But it was also clear that she knew we would not do anything as long as she had Muriel under her thumb.
"Now, you two. She is our neighbor. Our casa is her casa. Whatever that means." Muriel scolded us as she got up and headed behind the couch to pull out a safe.
"Our casa is her casa is Spanish, for our house is your house. This is a phrase used when you tell a guest to make themselves comfortable. Not to have someone else give up all their valuable and private information." Willow explained while glaring at Maria.
"Well, we can do one better. We can be true neighbors and show her all of our valuables." Muriel said, missing the point entirely. Turning to Maria, we saw her take out a notepad and pencil.
"You just dial five." Muriel began while turning the dial on the safe.
'94!' Courage said, trying to mess with Maria while momentarily forgetting that she did not understand him.
"87." Muriel continued.
'6! 144!' Courage said, panicking as Maria wrote down the following number.
Knowing that Muriel was not going to listen, I quickly grabbed the notepad from Maria. She tried to reach for it back or alert Muriel to what I did but stopped when she saw Winer and Weiss show her their weapons. Willow, uncharacteristically, even made a slit-throat gesture towards Maria. It was clear to Courage and me that Willow intensely dislikes Maria.
"Eleven. It's a secret combination." Muriel said as the safe unlocked.
"No longer a secret combination." Weiss remarked as Muriel opened the safe before taking out all the documents we had in there.
'AAHHH!' Courage screamed before jumping towards Muriel. He then grabbed all the documents from her before putting them back into the safe.
"Now, Courage. You can trust Maria. She's a lovely person." Muriel naively said.
"You must share with me all your beauty secrets." Maria asked Muriel.
"Si." Muriel said before taking Maria to the upstairs bathroom.
"Courage, be a pal, and make sure Maria doesn't try anything." I told him.
'Alright. But I won't like it.' He said before running up the stairs.
"Identity theft. False intentions and abusing trust. She reminds me a lot of Jacques." Willow seethed.
"Are you okay, mother?" Winter asked, worried.
"No. I'm not. I'm furious that another person is taking advantage of such a sweet and innocent soul." She answered. The teacup that is in her hand breaking as a result of her anger.
"I got it." Weiss said as she went to the kitchen and came back with a broom and shovel.
"Thanks." I told her as I got up and started fiddling with the safe.
"What are you doing, Jaune?" Winter asked.
"Changing the lock combination. But also taking the documents and hiding them somewhere else." I answered.
"Good idea, Jaune. Even though you took her notepad, she might still remember the combination." Winter said.
"Where will you put the documents, though?" Weiss asked.
"In the cellar. There is a hole in the wall that Eustace badly fixed. After a bit of work, I converted it to a storage space in case something like this would happen." I answered.
"Should we cover the safe with some ice dust? To either throw off Maria or make it harder for her to get in. And if she attempts to get in, it will be loud enough to alert us." Weiss suggested.
"Brilliant idea Weiss," Winter said before getting up. She then took out a vial containing ice dust and used it to cover the safe in ice. Once done, we moved it back to where it originally was.
"Be right back. Need to put these in a secure place." I said, picking up the documents.
Turning around, I headed into the dining room. Heading over to the door on the other side, I opened it before proceeding down the stairs. Going around the stairs, I moved a few boxes and items to the side. Moving to the wall, I removed the false brick that I placed there to make it look like the wall was complete. Putting the documents in there, I covered them with the fake brick before moving the boxes and items back. Once done, I went back up the steps to the dining room. However, as I left the cellar, I could not help but feel like someone or something was watching my every move. Shaking my head, I hurried back to the living room. Yet, I became confused when I saw Maria looking almost precisely like Muriel once I got back.
'Huh? Who?' Courage asked, confused as he looked between Muriel and Maria. Winter, Weiss, and Willow were also surprised and confused. Well, Winter and Weiss, to be more precise, as Willow was glaring daggers at Maria. It is clear to everyone here, aside from Muriel, that Willow's hatred for Maria grows with each passing second.
"Well, now. Everyone, it's getting mighty late. Let's all head to bed. Good night." Muriel said before heading up the stairs to her room.
"Good night, Muriel." We all replied, yet our gaze never left Maria, who was laughing at us.
"Good night indeed, everyone." She said before getting up and leaving.
Half an Hour Later
'Can't sleep?' Courage asked me.
"No. Just worried for Muriel." I answered.
'Didn't you hide the documents and Winter freeze the safe?' He asked through a yawn.
"Yes. But when I was hiding the documents, I felt like someone was watching me." I answered.
'Maybe you are just- wait.' Courage began before realizing something.
"What is it?" I asked, worried.
'We forgot to check on what exactly was the hand that was waving to us from their mobile home.' He answered. Before I could say anything, we heard the sounds of Maria's mobile home starting up. We quickly got out of bed and out of the run. Heading downstairs, we opened the front door and saw Maria driving away from the farm in her mobile home.
"Good riddance." Willow suddenly said from behind us. Even though we became slightly startled by her suddenly appearing behind us, we did agree with her.
"At least now, we can sleep peacefully." I said as we closed the door before heading back to our rooms.
Next Day
"This is certainly a nice way to start the day." Willow said as I handed her some coffee.
"And the music's isn't bad either." Weiss added with a smile as I handed her some tea. Beside her was Courage, who was snapping his fingers while listening to the soft music playing on the radio.
"Is Muriel up?" Winter asked as I gave her some tea with honey for the cold she was catching. But as soon as she asked this, Muriel's voice caught attention, followed by the sound of her hitting something. Turning to our side, we saw that Muriel had walked straight into her chair.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She apologized before walking to the side, only to bump into the closet door. "Oh! Excuse me."
"Is everything all right, Ms. Bagge?" Willow asked.
"Is something wrong with her, Jaune?" Weiss asked worriedly.
"She is blind as a bat without them. She also told me once that she can't hear anyone without her glasses." I answered, only to get a confused look from her and Winter.
"Doesn't she have spares?" Winter asked.
"I tried convincing her to get some but never did. I only recently found the type she uses and ordered her some." I explained.
"Oh, pardon me." Muriel apologized as she fell onto her chair. Not hearing the question Willow asked her. Going over to her, I helped her up. Yet, as I did, a special report came from the radio.
'We interrupt this program to bring you a special report. The grandmother diamond had been stolen. The precious stone has been stolen from the Nowhere Museum by MURIEL BAGGE!' The reporter announced.
'AAAHHHH!' Courage screamed in terror.
"Maria." Willow seethed. An aura of anger started to surround her.
"Yes. Did someone call my name?" Muriel asked.
'The dangerous villain was nice enough to leave behind her driver's license, birth certificate, and family photos at the crime scene to aid police.' The reporter continued.
"Now, isn't that funny?" Muriel asked.
"I thought you hid the documents?" Weiss asked, shocked at what we had just heard.
"I did. But it seems like she still found it somehow." I answered, wondering how Maria found the documents.
"Wait. Didn't you say there was another figure in their mobile home?" Willow asked. But before I could answer, we heard a knock on the door.
"Can someone get the door?" Muriel asked.
"I got it." I answered as I headed to the door. Opening it, I saw a tall and muscular policeman standing in front of me.
"Can we help you, officer?" Winter asked, walking up behind me.
"Yes. I'm looking for Muriel Bagge." The officer answered.
"Yes?" Muriel asked, walking up to us.
"You have the right to remain silent." The officer told her.
"Is that you, cousin Harold?" Muriel asked.
"What's happening, officer?" Willow asked as she and Weiss came up to us as well.
"Muriel Bagge is under arrest for stealing the Grandmother Diamond." The officer answered.
"Oh, Harold." Muriel said, laughing.
"Maybe these will help you see things a bit more clearly." The officer said as he placed Muriel's glasses on her. "We found them at the scene of the crime."
"Why, you're not Harold!" Muriel gasped when her vision became clear again.
"157 people witnessed you steal the diamond while your husband waited in your get-away motor home." The officer said as he tried to grab Muriel's wrist. Only to miss when Winter pulled Muriel back.
"Officer. There is a mistake. The real perpetrators of this crime framed her, and we know who they are." Winter told him.
"How can 157 people be mistaken? And how can we be wrong when you left all your documents at the crime scene?" The officer asked as he grabbed Muriel's arm and dragged her out of the house to his vehicle.
"That is because the perpetrators stole her documents and dressed up like her." Willow explained.
"Officer. There must be a mistake." Muriel told him.
"There is no mistake." He told her, sounding slightly annoyed. Hearing some laughter coming from nearby, we looked towards the road and saw Maria driving past us laughing. "See, there you are with the diamond."
'They're going to pay for this.' I thought as I looked around for anything to use that would help us catch up to Maria. Luckily, it seems Willow was one step ahead of us.
"Hop in." She told everyone as she drove in front of us in the police officer's motor vehicle, which conveniently had two passenger carts attached to it. Without being told twice, we hopped in with Courage picking up Muriel before getting in himself.
"YOU ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!" The officer shouted towards us as we began to chase after Maria.
"Mother, where did you learn how to drive a motorcycle?" Weiss asked.
"Please dear, call me mom. There is no need to be formal anymore, especially with me. But to answer your question, I wanted to get a new hobby. And after a while, I decided to learn how to ride a motorcycle." She explained.
"Careful, everyone." Winter said, getting out attention. "We are coming upon them."
"What's the plan?" Weiss asked.
"Not getting blown up." I answered as a cannon appeared from the side of the vehicle.
'AAHHH!' Courage screamed in terror while Willow quickly moved to the back of the vehicle to avoid getting hit.
"SERIOUSLY!" Weiss shouted as another cannon appeared from the back. Luckily, whoever taught Willow did a fantastic job as she easily avoided the attack again.
"Willow. Get us close so we can stop them." I told her.
"Alright. Hang on." She said as she skillfully maneuvered us close to the back of the vehicle.
Once in position, Winter, Weiss, Courage and, I jumped onto the back of the car. Yet, as soon as we did, another trap revealed itself. This trap was in the form of a gargoyle that vomited some type of hot liquid at us. Luckily, it only lasted for a second before it ran out. Sighing, we pulled ourselves to the top before heading to the front of the car. Kneeling, I risked a glance into the driver's seat of the vehicle. There, I saw Maria laughing confidently, thinking that she had successfully dealt with us. Next to her, however, was the Grandmother Diamond that was in the grip of a living hand. Just a hand as there was nothing else attached to it.
"What did you see, Jaune?" Weiss asked.
"Yet another reason why Nowhere is the strangest place in the world." I answered. Courage agreeing with me as he took a look as well.
"Either way, we need to stop them quickly." Winter said as she took her weapon. However, before I could think of a plan, we all had to quickly secure ourselves to the car's roof when Maria did a sharp turn. Winter used her weapon to remain secured and held Wiess close to keep her flying off. Courage and I grabbed the edge of the vehicle's roof. But, thanks to how the car righted itself, Courage and I were sent flying into the car and landed on the hand we saw.
'Ha, ha, ha.' Courage laughed as the diamond somehow got in his mouth.
"Good Mano. You got them in the palm of your hand. Now finish them off." Maria told the hand, which proceeded to try and choke us. Luckily, it was unsuccessful as Winter used some ice dust to freeze it solid. "Rotten kids."
"Pull this vehicle over now." Winter demanded as she and Wiess entered the vehicle as well.
"I'll like to see you try." Maria challenged as she started to drive erratically. Forcing us to hang onto whatever we could get. Luckily, we caught a break when we heard a loud bang coming from the vehicle's roof. We were confused about what caused it but got our answer when the top gave way, and Muriel fell on top of Courage and me. This caused the frozen hand to fly towards Maria, hitting her face and causing her to lose control of the vehicle. As a result, the car soon went off-road before turning on its side and crashing shortly after.
"Ow." Winter, Weiss, Courage, and I groaned in pain as we slowly stood up. Our aura already getting to work on healing our bruises and easing the pain we felt.
"Is everyone all right?" Willow asked as she drove up to us.
"We're fine, mom." Winter answered.
"Great sound effects." Eustace weakly said from nearby. Turning towards him, we saw that his head was in the television.
"Maybe, not him, though." Weiss added while smirking. But that was quickly replaced with worry when we heard Courage coughing violently. He then proceeded to hit his chest a few times. Thinking he was choking on something, I moved behind him and was about to perform the Heimlich maneuver. Yet, before I could start doing it, he opened his mouth. His tongue rolled out of his mouth to reveal the Grandmother Diamond safe and sound.
"Well, that takes care of one problem. Now, we need to find Muriel." I said as we began to look around.
"Speaking of her, how did she land on top of the vehicle?" Weiss asked, curious.
"Right. Well, as we were keeping a safe distance from the vehicle, a bump came right under us, which for some reason sent Muriel flying towards you guys." Willow explained, unsure of how it happened.
"We can figure it out later. We need to find Muriel quickly. She could be hurt and need help." I said as we resumed our search. Luckily, we did not need to search for long as we heard Muriel call out to us.
"Where is everyone?" She asked. Turning to her, we saw her on the floor looking for her glasses. Spotting them close by, we were about to bring them over to her but had to move out of the way when Eustace was coming towards us. However, he could not see where he was going as his tv was still on his head. Because of this, he tripped over Courage, which resulted in him falling to the ground and breaking his tv.
"DUME DOG! YOU BROKE ME TV!" Eustace shouted. He then tried to strangle Courage but was stopped when Muriel hit him on the head with a rolling pin. "OUCH!"
"I guess the only thing I could see without my glasses is Eustace's big shiny head." Muriel said, smiling, which also caused us to chuckle.
"Here you go, Muriel." I said as I gave her back her glasses
"Thanks, dear." She said, smiling as she placed them on her head. "Much better."
"ACH! MANO!" The voice of Maria shouting caught our attention. Turning around, we saw her struggling to get the hand from earlier out of a cactus.
"What should we do with them?" I asked. Luckily, the answer presented itself when the officer from earlier arrived on the scene while blowing on his whistle.
"Caramba?" Maria asked, confused.
"Anything you can say can and will be- oh forget it." The officer tried to get out before giving up and just arresting Maria and the hand.
"Well, that takes care of them." I said, relieved.
"Not quite. Those two don't deserve to go to jail." Willow said, getting our attention.
"What do you mean?" Weiss asked.
"I called in a favor." She answered as the sounds of bullheads greeted our ears. Looking up, we saw some Atlas bullheads touch down. "After all, they deserve appropriate punishment for what they did to Muriel."
We all felt a shiver go down our spines.
Two Hours Later
"We've got all our things back, and our family is together again. Safe and sound." Muriel said as we placed our documents back into the new safe that Winter got us.
"Just as it should be." Willow agreed, smiling. Happy that Maria and her husband were now in Atlas custody. Hearing some crying, we turned around and saw Eustace wiping his teary eyes.
"Oh, look. Even Eustace is weeping with joy." Muriel said, smiling.
"Joy, nothing. Those nice neighbors gave me the best reception of my life. When are they coming back?" He whined.
"Most likely never." Winter answered, smirking.
"If they know what's good for them." Willow added with a smile that sent shivers down our spines.
