Honestly this could go anywhere, but I put it here in the timeline. Just a blurb I came up with when I was experiancing something similar, then decided Cass earned a cute bit. Enjoy!
Cass - 10
The Fly
Bzzzzz... Bzzzzz... BZZZZZZZZZZ...
Cass looked up from her book, glaring at the bug that she swatted away at least three times from her face in the past minute. For some reason it was attracted to her, and she really wanted it gone. Princess Bride was finally getting to the interesting parts from the movie and this thing kept taking her attention away from it!
Bzzzz...
Blood pumping through her ears, she snapped the book closed and watched the offensive insect's every move. Flies were tricky, like cockroaches. They moved left when you thought it'd go south, up instead of towards you, circles and spirals for no reason, only to launch straight up a second later. Cockroaches at least avoided the light, making some sense. Flies made none.
Bzzzzz... bzzzz...
Carefully she approached the bug, slow movements so she didn't startle it. If she moved too fast, too loudly, it would suddenly change speeds and take off, only to return a minute later when she was comfortable again. On the other side of her couch, she found it circling the armrest. Cautiously, silently, she brought both her hands up on either side of its predicted path.
Bzzzzz...
Half a second later a loud clap filled the air, ending the buzzing once and for all. Smiling, Cass opened her hands and let the insect's corpse fall to the ground. That was one less annoying bug the world had to deal with. Whoever said someone couldn't hurt a fly clearly lived in a bubble. Even babies hurt flies when they got in their faces all the time. And the daughter of the Batman (and two assassins who didn't count anymore) definitely would hurt a fly.
Grinning to herself, the girl picked her book back up and settled herself back on to her seat comfortably. Now, the fire swamp...
Bzzzz...
A/N: I was trying to get ready for bed when this fly that's been flying around the house all day followed me around. I decided to kill it. Kinda like this. Unfortunately it lived to fly again, so I got it against the wall. I figured Cass would have better luck. And I'm pretty sure she'd have no problem killing bugs, despite being a girl. I'm the one killing them in my place, and depending on what they are, I use a variety of methods.
Anywho, hope you've enjoyed! Sacrifice is almost over in Teen Titans, but I'd like your opinion on something: should I post a completed collection of the in between stuff there too? Between the end and the epilogue of that arc I mean. Not sure at the moment. Also would like a reminder of what kind of dog Ace is, and what they look like. I don't know dogs, at all. =/
