Yeah, it's been a month, but it's been a busy month for other titles. This is the party I promised, and in a way the conclusion to the one titled Greens long long before this one. Enjoy!

Dick - 17 Jason - 13

Secret Party

"Are you sure I'm supposed to be here?" Roy looked at the large manor before his party with misgivings. When Dinah asked him to be her plus one to a private party, he knew something was up but came anyway. He had a hunch she was just trying to get him and Ollie in the same room, but when he learned he was going to Wayne Manor for Dick Grayson's 'welcome back' party, he couldn't stop his stomach from flipping around.

Just last month he was fighting this guy on top of a building, nearly to the death. Course there was a lot going on at that time he didn't know about but still... Why was Roy Harper there? With Dinah Lance and Oliver Queen of all things? Though he knew Jason and Dick, it was mostly online. They weren't so close to go to private parties like this for him. This was going to be a heap load of awkward for him.

"You are definitely supposed to be here," Dinah insisted. There was some kind of joke playing behind her eyes while Ollie focused on driving. Something was really up. "So are quite a few others. Think the rest will show?"

"Dunno," the older archer admitted, pulling his hummer just behind a sports car. A really recognizable one at that. Roy almost gaped at it. Wasn't that Hal's? "The big wigs said they'd be telling them personally. He wants to keep this as small as possible. Ah man! Hal beat us!"

"That's what you get for trying to pick up booze when you know kids are going to be there." The woman rolled her eyes before unbuckling her seatbelt and climbing out. Roy copied her from the back, really confused. Hal was here? Why? "Come on Roy. You're in for a real treat tonight."

"Real treat? What are you-"

"ROY!"

Without any more warning, a redheaded streak slammed into him, wrapping him in a quick hug. Only one person could or would do that to him. "Wally?!"

"You made it!" Cheerily, his friend let go, grinning from ear to ear. "After Garth said he was busy, and Donna saying her mom needed her for something, I thought I'd be the only one of us here! Not to say that wouldn't be fun, but..." His grin only grew at the secret joke he was clearly dying to tell. "With all the big guys coming, it's a bit intimidating to be the only Titan here."

"Only Ti- Wally! Shut up!" It came out as a harsh whisper, with the archer looking around anxiously. With this being a rich man's estate, any reporter with enough guts to put a bug on the grounds could hear them. Then there were the rich people who lived inside. "People will-"

"There's an emitter in the house blocking all digital and radio recordings so we have complete privacy here," Hal informed them just as Barry ran up. They both had the same knowing grin as Wally. What did they know? How did they even know? "Or that's how it was last time we had a get together."

"I wouldn't exactly call that a get together," Barry countered. He looked over to the confused teen and grinned impishly. "Good to see you Roy. Been behaving?"

"Mostly..." He looked between them all, a bit weary. "What's going on?"

"Son, you're in for a real treat today." Hal beamed at him motioning him towards the stairs leading into the manor. "You're about to meet the Justice League, out of costume."

"Say what?" If it weren't for Wally tugging his arm, Roy wasn't sure he'd make it to the door. They didn't even knock before opening the door and letting themselves inside. When they saw the people already there, he began to understand what was going on.

For some reason, there was an elephant in the main room of the house, and three of the Wayne kids were playing on it. It looked like Wonder Woman and some black haired lady were having a very interesting conversation, but she was in regular clothes instead of her uniform. The king of Atlantis was there with his wife and child, being entertained by Cassandra Wayne and the many water bottles around them. Ray Palmer was having an in depth conversation with Bruce Wayne and... Was that Superman?! In normal clothes?! In between all of this, some old butler was offering drinks and keeping the toddler Wayne out of everyone's hair.

"What the..."

"You made it!" Almost as soon as he exited the foyer and into the heart of the house, he and his party were spotted by those on the elephant. Dick Grayson flipped off of the beast (which started shrinking into Martian Manhunter) and darted towards them, quickly followed by the other two boys.

"Hey there sport!" Hal greeted them warmly, along with Barry who was soon mobbed by the reported kid genius of the place and was quickly dragged over to his dad and the other scientist in the room... and Superman in civies. The pilot grinned at the group. "Been good?"

"Relatively. Hey Wally! Great to see ya!" Dick gave the speedster a high five, who returned it grinning.

"Great to be back. You haven't finished that game have ya?"

"Haven't had time. Not a second to spare between the lawyers, shrinks, and Dami. Then there's the random visitors, like you." He gave the guy a knowing look, almost teasing. The guy broke into a broad grin when he looked back to Roy. "Did he drag you here or did Dinah?"

"Dinah... Wha..." Confusion ruled the lad's face, looking between all of them in shock. He was pretty much abandoned by the adults who came in with him, all just watching from a distance for him to put things together. "What's going on?"

"What do ya think's going on Royboy?" Jason slid into their circle, grinning like the others. They all had a secret and watching Roy not know it made them all laugh. "A potluck?"

"Ease up Jay," Dick giggled, ruffling his hair a bit. "B's one of the best at keeping secrets, and he chooses his friends wisely."

"B?" At his question, the boys around him shared the broadest grins he ever saw. B? As in...

"Yeah, that one."

"But..." Everything started clicking in his head, slowly. His audience was waiting in anticipation for him to put everything together. Only the party's guest of honor was impatient.

"Do you really think I'd shoot off that chip to just anyone, Speedy?" The knowing smirk on the guy's face was exactly the same as that time. *Refer to Sacrifice - Pains Worse Than Death*

Jaw dropping, Roy just gaped at him. "You know..."

"Known who you were since the beginning."

"We all knew," Jason added, not about to be outdone.

"How?!" At his exclamation, both boys pointed towards their father. Bruce Wayne stooped down to pick up his toddler while still talking to Superman, as if he were talking to a lifelong friend. Eyes bulging, Roy put it together. "He's B."

"Yep."

"The Justice League's mysterious B."

"That's the one."

"Batman B?"

"When did you get that connection?" The Wayne kids looked between themselves, impressed. "It took Dr. Palmer ten minutes to get that and Dad told Zanna flat out."

"Zatanna," Dick corrected Jason smoothly. "Zanna's just his personal nickname for her."

"Think they went out?" the trouble maker asked, looking over to the lady curiously.

"Count on it."

"Ollie might have mentioned it when he was drunk." The overwhelming thought of another rich guy being a vigilante just slapped him over the head at a mile a second. Roy only heard of Batman through Oliver and Jason online, but it wasn't much of a leap if you knew the facts. B was the usually silent partner of the League, the genius that handled tactics and some detective work, staying out of the field. His cooperation was hinged on whether they helped protect Gotham when needed. Batman was the last hero of Gotham City, who vanished nine years ago. The likelihood of the two not being connected was slim. "He's Batman?"

"Yep," Dick grinned proudly. "That's our Dad."

"Bruce Wayne was Batman."

"Old news. I'm hungry." Wally tried to wave it all off and get them back to the party.

"What else is new," his host joked.

"Where's the food?"

"That way." Jason motioned towards a hallway not too far off. "The Flash tables' already set up, but the rest of us are getting things later. Hey!"

"Backinabit!" And the speedster was off. The younger Wayne groaned and tailed after him.

"He's gonna break something again."

"Probably. Good luck!" Dick waved them off, smiling as he watched them. He looked back to Roy, still coping with the information. "You okay?"

"Let me get this straight." The redhead pointed to Bruce one more time. "That's Batman, AKA Bruce Wayne, AKA the Justice League's B."

"Yep."

"Everyone in this room is associated with the Justice League." He made a circle with his finger, sweeping the room's occupants.

"Everyone over the age of twenty is part of the League, minus Alfred." Dick inclined his head towards the butler keeping an eye on everyone while trying to make them comfortable. "I think we're missing Green Lantern John Stewart and Hawk Girl, but Bruce isn't comfortable with them knowing anything quite yet. Barry's trying to get Elongated Man in, but he's not really interested in it right now."

"Really..."

"Yeah." He smiled kindly as he gently pulled him away from the entryway. "I kinda grew up with the founders as my aunt and uncles. It's been a blast."

"Batman's your dad."

"Uh huh."

"Oh wow..." Shaking his head slowly to clear it, Roy took in a few breaths to get a hold of himself. Finally a smile came to his face. "I can't believe this."

"Heard it took Wally a while to get a hang of the idea too." Dick rubbed his neck as he told him what happened. "If it weren't for him and his uncle comparing notes, we might still be fighting in San Fran."

"I've been begging for years to know who everyone was," the archer stated flatly, turning on him. "And you always knew?"

He shrugged. "I get bored and read B's files. You should take a look at yours once in a while. He thinks better of you than your mentor. At least... he did..." For a moment the teen chewed on his words, and already Roy knew why. Dick knew all about the drug problem he had last year. That made him feel really uncomfortable now. The teen shrugged it off a minute later. "Ah well, Bruce always said Oliver Queen didn't know what was important until it was too late. Dinah's pretty cool. You're lucky to have her. All we've got is Auntie D and Selina. Unless you count the demon princess but we don't talk about her much these days."

"Does Slade know about this?" The question struck both of them pretty quickly. If the man knew...

"Do you honestly think he'd risk me fighting you guys if he did?" Dick shook his head ruefully, ending the debate. "He's not stupid. He did not want me on the Justice League's radar, but got caught on it anyway. If he knew, he'd probably grab someone else or try for Tim or Jay instead. Grabbing Cass would have been pretty scary though..."

The guy became serious and silent for a moment, revealing momentarily the scarred and beaten warrior behind the cheery face. For a civilian, he was unbelievably battle worn. Just like the rest of them.

Eventually he took in a breath and switched back to a smile, a forced one he hoped to make real. "So, you wanna see the cave?"

"Cave?" Roy tried desperately to keep up. This guy was kinda weird... and cool. "You've got a cave?"

It took about an hour for Roy to really feel comfortable with all the new information. The cool toys helped of course, but mostly it was how the older Wayne boys took to him that made acclimation possible. Both Dick and Jason were pretty fun to talk to, but they were two different sides of a coin. Jason was more on his wavelength for humor and life, but Dick understood where he was coming from with Ollie. The relationship they started over eighteen months ago was shallow in comparison to what was going on now. It was when Alfred shooed them out of the batcave (awesome!) and back to the snack bar that it hit him.

Since the beginning, they couldn't be 100% honest with anyone their age. When he told Wally his revelation, the guy just blinked at him. "Ya know, I never thought of it that way."

"I mean think about it." The two finally managed a chance to talk away from the others, Hal taking Jason for a quick spin and Superman agreeing to a staring contest with Dick. "They've known the League the entire time. Batman's their dad. But who can they tell? We've got the Titans, but they've got no one."

"Think we should invite them to join?" The idea had crossed their minds before, at least with Dick. On two separate occasions they believed he'd be a great addition to their team: once around Halloween, and a second time when he was Renegade. Jason was pretty spunky too, and there was something about Cassandra that scared them a bit, in a good way.

"I dunno..." The idea was very tempting. Batman's kids would be pretty valuable on the team, especially if they were trained like Dick was. "We'd have to run it by Donna... Man I wish she was here! She'd love to meet them all like this."

"I think Gar would faint from the overload."

Another thought struck Roy, one that slightly unnerved him. "Hey, why wasn't the whole team invited? I mean, we all saved Dick from a lifetime of Slade."

"Because it's too soon." Both teens jerked around, spotting Bruce Wayne just behind them at long last. The large man raised an eyebrow at them but didn't comment. How did he sneak around them so easily? "Dick's parole officer is much brighter than he pretends to be, and if the Teen Titans without secret or private identities popped up at the same time as everyone else, it would look suspicious. Those four are not as subtle as you four are. As it is right now, if he popped up, only J'onn and Clark would have to do is a quick change and he wouldn't suspect a thing."

"Really?" The two of them did their best to keep their cool, but knowing the freakin' Batman was right there kinda freaked them out.

The man gave a small shrug. "Partly. I felt you, Donna Troy, and Garth earned the right to now first, and I'm still assessing how well your other friends can keep secrets." A glare like no other fell on the two boys. "No one outside this circle is to know the true identities of the League or myself. Understood?"

"Yes sir." Chills went flying down Roy's spine, knowing he was dead if he said a single word. Donna didn't like him keeping secrets from her, but if he didn't, he was doomed for sure.

After a moment, the dark one eased up, settling slightly into the relaxed demeanor from earlier. "Good. In reference to the future, my children, and the Titans," Wally and Roy both swallowed air as he continued to loom over them, "I don't want them getting hurt. They've had enough scares.

"If you want to be friends, that's up to them." Surprise donned on the teens' faces, gaping at the man. Really? Wayne sighed slightly as he continued. "You're right about them not being completely honest with friends out here. It might be nice to change that for them."

"So you're saying we can come over and hang?" Roy couldn't quite believe what the guy was saying. Controlling paranoid dad sure, but it looked like he was trying to relax a bit. Just a bit.

"Within reason. It's still up to them. Just don't put them in the line of fire." Bruce noticed the magician looking at him coyly and started moving towards her. "If you'll excuse me."

The two Titans watched him for a minute as he mingled back with the adults, no doubt talking about random grown up things or League cases. Didn't make them any less cool though. "Wow..."

"Yeah..."

"We just got permission to play around in the batcave."

"Dude, what do you think that T-rex can do?"

"HA! Take that!"

"Taste my shell!"

"You are NOT passing me!"

"HEY! What was that for?!"

"You passed me!"

"You're toast arrowhead!"

"Whatever skunkhead."

"BWAHAHA!" Dick threw a punch in the air as he passed the others squabbling on screen and in person. Roy and Jason were more interested in fighting than in racing, but Wally kept getting caught in the middle of their fights. That left the best opening for him to take the gold. Again. "I win!"

"Game change!" Wally insisted, glaring at the two fighters. "These two cannot do racing games."

"Smash brothers?"

"I get Pit!" Roy jumped at the character before they even shut off the game they were playing.

"Dude! Who'd want him?!" Jason rolled his eyes before thinking of who he'd play.

"I do!"

"Whatev. I'll take Roy. Fire Emblem's Roy," he quickly corrected, but the damage was done.

"Take him anywhere," Dick waved off, fishing out the disk to play the next game. "Just remember Bruce and Alfred's rules."

"GASP! I didn't know you two were so close!" Wally mocked them as much as he could. "Roy! He's only a kid! You cradle robber!"

"Hey! I'm the one being taken here! Did I say I was agreeing to anything?"

"Will you guys shut up?!" Jason started turning bright red at their teasing.

"Nope," came Dick's curt reply. "I am quite attached to talking. And I'm sure you two will be very happy together. Ah! Found it!" He held up the game's case and grinned. "Dibs on Zelda."

"A girl? You're gonna play a girl?"

"Who's an awesome acrobat as Shiek. C'mon, let's play!"

As the boys played and squabbled, their mentors came around and watched. Originally Ollie was trying to find some booze and Barry was planning on taking Wally home, but it was kind of fun watching the teens like this. Standing in the doorway, the speedster commented to his ally. "We should have done this years ago."

"Blame the paranoid bat," Oliver countered just as the man in question came into view. He was putting Tim to bed after a very long day of partying. Nearly everyone else was gone back to their cities, everyone but these four and Dinah. She was helping Alfred clean up right then. "He was the one keeping them away, not me."

"No kidding." Barry looked over his shoulder to Bruce who for once wasn't trying to get the drop on them. "Think it'd be a problem if Wally stayed the night? Tomorrow's Sunday and all."

"We have plenty of space," Bruce stated, looking into the room. "I can have a jet send Roy back to Star or San Francisco tomorrow if he wants to stay the night too."

"Personally I'd like that," Ollie agreed, "but Dinah might not. I've got some work out here and she wanted to make it a thing and-"

"I'll talk to her and Roy alone then." The detective watched the teens getting into their game, beating each other to a pulp while playing it. He hadn't seen Jason enjoying himself like that in a long while, and Dick... his competitive spirit was returning. He hadn't seen that since Halloween. "They're really enjoying themselves."

"They aughta," Barry smirked. "Those two are what... a year older than Dick? If you weren't so stubborn, this would have happened a long time ago. They have more in common than we do. I foresee a strong and eternal friendship."

"I foresee a bottle of beer and some pretty wild bachelor parties," Oliver chimed in, grinning at the idea.

"I foresee a bottle of Excedrin and having to make more rules to keep the house in one piece. Where's Dinah?" The killjoy got a snicker from one and a finger from the other. For once in their association all three of them were on the same page, and only for the sakes of teenaged friendships. Who knew what would happen next.

All that mattered was the happiness of those four going head to head in a video game.

A/N: After killing off a likeable character yesterday, I figured it was time to do something really upbeat and waited for. Not sure if I succeeded. So now Roy officially knows the secret. He and Wally are gonna become regulars at Wayne Manor in the future, so of course they're gonna have a lot of fun with the T-rex. Love the T-rex. Boys and their toys... Anywho, They all get to bond through games, hanging out, and even sparring on occasion. It took Roy a while to get around the idea that they knew who he was the entire time, but in the end it's all good.

So yeah, they're becoming besties. YAY! Zatanna and Ray Palmer/the Atom become part of the inner circle of the Justice League as thanks for helping out with Dick's case. So much fall out after the fact. With those friendly stories out of the way, I need to focus on psychiatric sessions. Oh, poll on my page, please pick things.

Random news: Damian's getting a movie! Don't quite like his voice, or Talia's, but I like Bat's so I'm happy. I'm so getting it when it comes out late spring/early summer. Wish it was a Tim or Dick movie, or even the killing joke, but DC goes after the more conflicting Robins I guess. Oh well. Fingers crossed!
