waldvogelleo97 - I'm going to go with remastered Peter due to him being younger in this story than his counterpart in the original game, and since that's kinda what I'm going for in this story.

Peter was swinging his way through the city, muttering to himself this song that he heard of by a band. Looking down, he saw the stitches he was able to fix last night after he had his talk with Peni.

"Spectacular, spectacular, Spider-Man." Peter sang to himself as he kept on swinging through the city. "Looks like I'm finally gonna have one normal day where I can just swing to school as my vigilante self."

Then he jumped himself when he heard an alarm go off in the distance. Groaning, Peter stopped and swung off until he reached a small ATM stop where there was a robbery, which was right next to some unveiling.

The robbers are all using high-tech gear they bought off of the black market and are wearing Avengers masks. They used it to rip open a part of the ATMs and something to lift open the part and give them access to the mount.

"Yo, this high-tech stuff makes it too easy." The robber wearing the Hulk mask says.

"Told you it was worth it." The Captain America robber says.

As they do that, Peter enters through the doors as their lookout guy is facing the wrong way and sees his amateurs.

"What's up, guys? You forget your PIN number?" Peter asks as they all turn to face them and see their masks.

"Whoa, the Avengers!" Peter says mockingly as they turn to fight the hero. "What are you guys doing here?" Peter wonders as he sends a web and yanks the gun out of their lookout guy and another guy (Thor and Iron Man).

"Hulk. Thor. Nice to meet you guys." Peter greets while grabbing one of their elbows and sending the other guy flying. "I honestly thought you would be more handsome in person."

Peter then leaps to the ceiling and starts fighting off the Iron Man goon. "Iron Man. What are you doing robbing a bank? You're a billionaire." Peter says before using Iron Man's fist to punch Hulk.

The Captain America goon then picked up and aims their device at Peter and pulls him into a gravity field that he can't escape from.

"Whoa, this feels weird," Peter comments on the weapon as he's thrown into Hulk, causing Peter to jump and remember that was almost the same tech that Wizard used.

"What the hell is that thing?" Peter asks when he gets pulled into the field again and gets swung around the room. "I'm starting...to think...you're not..the Avengers." He says and Peter webs the desk behind them and pulls it at them.

"All right, let's wrap this up. It's a school day." Peter says, knowing he still needs to get to school before he's late, and he seriously needs to be there for Otto and Lian today.

Peter then kicks the Hulk crook and knocks him out as he lands on top of Thor. He webs the Iron Man goon with the gravity device onto the door before he could use it again.

"So how did jerks like you get tech like this?" Peter asks as he leaped over and took the mask off to reveal a man wearing a light and dark green shirt.

The Captain America goon pulled his off to show a man with short black hair and aimed at Peter, but he then leaped and tackled the device, shooting it a few dozen times to stop it from going off.

Sighing in relief, Peter saw he webbed them all and the police are going to be arriving in a moment so he should get out.

Peter started to make his way out of the bank and sensed something coming when he looked and see someone wearing all white and pink riding a skateboard coming at him. Or specifically the ceremony.

"Screwball here!" The woman cheered as she skated past.

"Screwball?" Peter asked, feeling like he knows that name somewhere.

"With another fun fact." Screwball said as her board seemed to have boosters on them as it rockets off. "It's hard for a CEO to cut the ribbon on his power headquarters without the ribbon!" She cheered as she blasted past with the ribbon in hand. "Let this be a lesson- wait, Spider-Man?"

Screwball then slipped off her board, causing it to crash into the glass windows and burn his webbing off the criminals, followed by Screwball running into Peter. Peter immediately caught her and slid back a little before using his powers to stop, missing the tripwire at his feet.

"You might wanna look both ways next time you do something like that," Peter stated.

"And you might not wanna stand there." Screwball warned him when paint buckets fell on him, covering his suit in green paint. "Sorry."

"Oh, come on!" Peter cried as he had only just washed the suit. "Do you know how hard it is to get paint out of this? Because I don't!"

That's when he looked and noticed the ground was made out of some sticky substance, then he saw the criminals escaping.

"I didn't even make it to seven." Peter saw as this was the earliest that he's had a bad day begin.

"Smile, Spider-Man." Screwball said as she raised her phone.

"You've been Screwballed!"

Two of the Avenger robbers from earlier made their way as far from the robbery and stopped for a breather. That's when a manhole cover slammed up, and a giant green hand came out of the sewers.

"What the hell is that?" One of them asked.

That's when a face came out, showing to be some sort of giant, green, skinny, and monstrous creature.

"Hello, boys." The creature greeted them. "Flint Marko. Aleksei Sytsevich. How do you feel about getting back at Spider-Man?"

"How do you plan on doing that?" Flint asked him.

"By giving you powers men could only dream of." He told them.

"And what do we call you? Mr. Goblin?" Aleksei questioned.

He grinned with a giant smile that scared them even further. "I'm the Jackel."

That video of Screwball went viral in a matter of minutes it took Peter to make it to school and Fred was even watching the video.

"Ooh!" Fred whined as he saw the paint drop on Spider-Man. "Looks like Spider-Man's on laundry day."

"I wonder how he does that," Tadashi muttered to himself as he was working on a part for his robot nurse. "With the tech in his suit, you have to wonder what it's made of."

"And where he got the material," GoGo added on as she was working on wheels for the bike.

"Maybe he's like Tony Stark's protege or something," Teresa added her two cents as she was currently working on a pack that could potentially save the lives of pilots.

"Really? I've never seen him leave the city." Honey added as she was working on her projects.

"Maybe that's why he's here," Wasabi added as he was working on his lasers. "Maybe he's like some small-time Avenger trying to build up his game."

"That's a possibility," Tadashi said as Peter made his way into the labs and sighed. "Hey, Pete."

"What's up, guys?" Peter asked as he made it through the labs.

"Another Screwball video was posted." Teresa caught him up and Peter finally remembered it was Fred who's a fan of Screwball.

"Right. Screwball." Peter remembered as she was a psychotic lunatic who does crazy stunt after crazy stunt on the internet.

Of course, making her a huge hit online.

"Yeah, except this time her stunts cost several criminals getting away from Spider-Man." GoGo scoffed, earning Peter to spin as it almost sounded like she was defending him. But she couldn't know he was Spider-Man, right?

"What took you so long to get here?" Teresa was curious to know, considering they left at the same time, and he took a half-hour longer to make it over.

"I got...held up. With a paint job." Peter quickly lied and made his way through to the labs. "Then almost got ran over by a crazy stuntwoman." He muttered that last bit to himself as he knew he needed to find a way to deal with her later.

Okay, that might be a lit much, as long as she stays out of his way from now on, she should be fine. When he reached the labs, he saw that Otto was talking to someone and saw Lian was packing her labs.

"What's happening here?" Peter wonders.

"Uh, I'm being reassigned. Otto was gonna be taken down and so I took the fall this time." Lian answered him with a smile. "I've been assigned to helping Professor Warren with his projects."

"Wait, what?" Peter asked her, shocked to hear that she took the fall.

"Otto's doing incredible work, and I knew they'd make it easier on me than they would on him." Lian apologized as she packed her things. "Take care of Otto. He sees you as a protege here."

Lian then walked out to be set up with Raymond, leaving the two scientists left alone.

Otto looked to Peter and sighed. "I begged her not to."

"When has she ever listened to either of us?" Peter asked with a chuckle. "We'll still see her around. It'll...just be weird without her in the labs."

"Yes." Otto agreed as he looked at the work that needed to be done. "Well, no sense in worrying about things that we can't change. Let's go back to shaping the future."

Flint Marko was down in what looked to be someone's basement as the Jackal had him stand in some giant container.

"So...this procedure...it'll give me the power to take Spider-Man down?" Flint asked Jackal.

"Yes. And when you do, all I want in return is for you to bring me back his body." Jackal asked of him.

"Why do you want the Web-Freak's body?" Flint was disgusted to hear and almost didn't wanna know.

"I didn't bring you here to ask questions." Jackal stopped and got ready. "You will be infused with millions of microscopic silicon granules, creating subdermal silicon armor. With this, you shall be able to pass through metal detectors, and will be impervious to everything."

Jackal then activated the machine and Flint was then hit by a thousand grains of sand, followed by electricity that fused it to him. Flint screamed as the sand started to bond with him and Jackal watched as his theory is working.

Flint Marko was fusing with the sand at the subatomic level. His work is finally coming true. He then fell and the entire sand pile flew everywhere. Waiting a few moments, the sand started to move and come together and formed Flint.

Looking down at himself, Flint cried out in terror and turned his hand into a sledgehammer before slamming into the glass, which didn't break. "What have you done to me?!"

"Given you exactly what you wanted," Jackal stated as he saw this as an absolute success.

When it came to lunch, Peter met up with his friends at the table and started having a chat. This was the only time of day Peter felt like a normal person. Just some kid talking with his friends about recent events in their lives.

"Hey, does anyone know how to get paint out of spandex?" Peter suddenly asked, wondering if anyone knew how to get the paint off his suit.

"Saturate the stain." Wasabi suddenly called out after he finished chewing his food. "Stature it with a mix of half detergent, half warm water and blot it vigorously with a rag or paper towel. Rinse and repeat until the stain is gone."

Everyone at the table was confused on both ends of the concept that had just taken place between them.

"Okay...I don't know which one of you I wanna question first." GoGo admitted as she tried to figure out which was weirder. "Why would you know that and why do you wanna know that?"

"Well, excuse me for making sure to clean his clothes right." Wasabi scoffed.

"The wasabi left that big of an impact, huh?" Teresa asked him, earning an eye roll from Wasabi.

"Just asking for a friend." Peter shrugged, playing it cool. "Something for the party."

"Oh, I wish you'd come with, Peter." Honey Lemon told Peter. "It's going to be so much fun."

"I...I doubt I'd enjoy it." Peter told them, not able to say it's because he'll probably be too busy Spider-Manning to party.

"Shame. We could find a cool group costume to go as if you did." Fred said as he gestured to Wasabi, himself, and Tadashi.

"And now I'm glad you're not coming." Tadashi said, afraid at the thought of what Fred would have them do.

"Where's Lian?" Teresa asked Peter.

"She got reassigned. Took the fall for Otto, despite us protesting." Peter admitted to them. "She's working with Professor Warren now."

Lian was in Warren's labs and was helping him with his research of genetic splicing, something he's working alongside Connors for.

"Your work here is incredible, Lian. It's pushing everything decades ahead of its time." Warren congratulated Lian, not knowing he used her work to create a monster.

"Thank you, sir," Lian said as she blushed a little. Otto congratulated her, but never praised her like Warren's doing.

Max Dillon, the janitor, was working on moping the floors when he saw Lian's face.

"So, that party this weekend. Planning on asking Parker out?" Max asked, him being the only one aware of her crush on Peter.

"Nah, he said he wasn't going." Lian was sorry to say.

"Sorry to hear that," Max said as he went back to his job. "But don't worry, I'm sure the kid will come around soon."

Lian then smiled back and got back to working on the research here, drifting back to Peter ever so often. How long should she wait for him to notice how she feels?

The said Peter was currently on his way home when he heard an alarm going off in the city, wearing his suit inside out to hide the paint stain from Screwball before he could get home and try out Wasabi's suggestion. So he had to make a quick detour and check on it. Making it to the scene, he saw that the guards were knocked unconscious, and the bank vault was broken open.

The suit he is wearing was partially similar to his original suit and shares similarities to it is fully equipped but being a black and gold version of his original suit, due to it being inside out, while the suit fabrication has lots of circuit lines across it.

Seeing someone walking out, Peter waited to see someone ten times bigger to come out as he recognized the man as one of the Avengers' masked robbers.

"Hey, it's you again." Peter greeted as he dropped down and landed in front of him. "Wondering if we would see each other again."

"Oh, I was hoping that we would," Flint said as he dropped the money bag and his fist grew, sand covering it. Peter was shocked to see this but could barely react as he was followed up by a punch to the face and sent flying.

Peter rolled down the street before landing on his knees and hand, rubbing the part that was hit. "Okay, can't say I was expecting that." He went in for another round but was then met with a kick from Flint. "Okay, fool me once, fool me twice."

Flint then came in again, but Peter actually reacted and went in to strike him down. Peter punched him in the face, but that didn't seem to faze Flint as he grabbed Peter and tossed him into the wall.

Before he could squash Peter like a bug, he dodged the attack and saw a nearby construction site that gave him an idea.

"Okay, Mr. Sandan. Let's bring ourselves a dream." Peter dared as he ran over to the site and Flint followed after him. "Let me guess, you want a reality show? Changing faces? Completely ridicules makeovers?"

"Like the new powers?" Flint asked. "The Jackal gave me this to get to you. Promises me riches if I bring him your head."

"What?" Peter asked, having no idea what to say after hearing that. "Who's the Jackal?"

"That's a need to know!" Flint said as he turned his hand into a sledgehammer and went in to attack Peter as he leaped onto some of the equipment.

"And what if I needed to know?" Peter questioned as he leaped off the equipment before Flint could get his hands on him.

"You don't need to know!" Flint said as he tossed several of the equipment at him.

"Really? I feel like I do!" Peter said as he dodged all of the equipment with dodges and webs, earning him to run out of webbing.

Peter had to think fast and got an idea when he saw a cement truck nearby. "Alright, Sandman. Let's see what you can do against this!" He cried as he leaped into the air, earning Flint to go and aim at him.

Peter used this as the time to pry open the truck back, allowing the cement to fall and cover Flint. "Thank god."

Peter dropped down in relief, seeing he finally accomplished it. Hearing the sirens, he saw they would find a way to contain him and made his way as far as he could before quickly stopping and ripping his mask off.

Sand being released out of his head and hair, Peter spitted a ton out of his mouth. "Where do all of these guys come from?" He then took off his boot, allowing the sand to get out.

Some back shop workers were cleaning up and were laughing on their way out. Walking along the street, they looked and saw a hooded figure approaching.

"Hello?" One man asked as he walked over to her. "Can we help you?"

"I most certainly hope so." She said as she grabbed onto his hand, the man thinking she was injured or something.

But then he started to feel weak and felt his heart slow down before he fell to the ground. The woman then sighed as she stood up and removed her hood, revealing a young woman with dark raven hair.

"What did you do?!" His friend asked as he backed away and she approached him.

"The same I'm gonna have to do to you." She said as she grabbed his arm and as he went in to attack but ended up helping as she grabbed his second hand and drained the whole life force out of him.

Feeling herself become powerful, she sighed and saw she was stronger. But then she felt something coming and dodged just as a dumpster came flying at her and she dodged it.

Looking at the figure, she saw someone wearing a halter with a high neckline. A styled corset, with boning that looks reinforced by leather or neoprene, and these details transition up into a neckline of skinny, interwoven straps, wearing an M-shaped crown on her head and a strange flowing cape.

"Thought the Avengers didn't operate outside of New York!" She cried in annoyance.

"I followed you, Cressida." She said, revealing a thick accent as she started to glow from her hands a bright scarlet red. "Your reign of terror ends here."

She then shot a blast at her, but then watched as she caught the blast and absorbed it. "Yeah, I've been getting a few upgrades, Wanda."

Wanda then looked down and saw that she was drawing her life force through her powers, meaning she couldn't even touch her with her abilities anymore. But she missed when Cressida blasted the same blast with bright blue color and sent Wanda flying back.

Groaning, Wanda got up and saw she needed to get out of here and come up with a second plan, not expecting needing to be able to fight without her power in some fashion.

"You're in way over your head," Cressida said as she walked over and chuckled. "Maybe they should've sent Captain America after me. Maybe you should let me take that power of yours. Have some real fun with it."

Wanda then grabbed one of the cars and dragged it over in between the two. Cressida then ripped the car in half, using Wanda's power before she saw Wanda make her escape during the diversion.

"Run, run, run. You'll never escape." Cressida muttered, seeing she now had a sample of the power of the Scarlet Witch.
