As you guys see, I'm back! I'm really sorry for the gap and being MIA. I don't really know if anyone uses Fanfiction anymore but I'll certainly be uploading stories for as long as I can! I just want to thank everyone for taking their time, reading all of my stories. It really does mean a lot to me and it's one of the main reasons why I share my stories ever since I started in 2007. One of my new years resolutions is to start getting back into writing and be more active on FF. Between a full time job and getting a Masters, I'm pretty busy. Growing up sucks...A LOT but I never want to be able to lose the things that I love in between. Thank you guys! Keep it fresh and have an AMAZING new year!

Much love,

ClassySam

Jade found time during Ginny's Quidditch practices and Astoria's other classes to slip away and have her time to cry whenever she found herself missing Fred or feeling immensely guilty that day. She used to cry in her dormitory but Hermione caught her and harassed her with questions and told Ginny. So Jade started to use the second floor bathrooms and cry there until she felt tired and could cry no more. Fred's words replayed in her mind and Jade instantly started sobbing on her way to the bathroom. She pushed the door open and cried, taking off her robe. She stopped seeing Moaning Myrtle staring at her, completely taken aback from Jade's entrance.

"I'm sorry; I didn't know anyone was in here." Jade said dropping her robe and loosening her tie.

"It's okay…most people come here because of the privacy." Myrtle said.

"If it's all right with you, can I stay for a while? I'll be very quiet…" Jade squeaked before bursting into another fit of sobs.

"What happened? Did someone hurt you?" Myrtle asked, floating down. Jade shook her head.

"I hurt someone." Jade said.

"I have a friend who's done the same thing. He didn't mean it and I'm sure you didn't either." Myrtle said.

"I would never hurt Fred that way! I just never remembered sleeping with McLaggen in the first place!" Jade said.

"Who-" Myrtle went to say but a loud bang was heard in one of the stalls.

"What was that?" Jade asked, straightening instantly.

"Umm." Mrytle said as the stall door unlocked and Malfoy stepped out. His hair was messy and his shirt was wrinkled with two top buttons undone. He looked like he had been crying too but didn't look as bad and as manic as Jade did.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Jade shrieked.

"Taking a shit, do you mind?" Malfoy asked.

"Shut up and leave me alone! I can't even find one minute of peace and quiet to try and let my frustrations go!" Jade said, resuming her sobbing.

"Tell me about it." Malfoy said, wiping his nose with a tissue. He walked over and sat on a stone ledge, watching Jade sit on the ground, hyperventilating.

"I wish I could get a second chance." She explained. She sniffed and looked at Myrtle who sat down in front of her, weeping as well.

"Don't we all?" Malfoy asked, looking out of the window.

"The last thing I would have ever wanted to do was to hurt someone I love. I know what I did was wrong and I know he has the right to be angry but he knows that I love him more than anything and I'm not the same person when I'm fucking things up!" Jade said.

"I agree." Malfoy said softly but Myrtle wept harder.

"I've never had a boyfriend before!" she wailed.

"You cheated on Weasley with McLaggen?" Malfoy asked seeing Jade nod. "Why did you do it?" he asked.

"I got extremely drunk in Bali. Completely pissed to the point where I only remember blinks of it. It was my first time actually letting myself go and drinking. Otherwise McLaggen? Over Fred?" Jade asked.

"You're a horrible fucking girlfriend." Malfoy sighed.

"And you're a horrible fucking boyfriend. There can be only one thing worse than having sex with McLaggen and it's working for…you already know." Jade said seeing Malfoy shrug and look at the floor. His chin trembled and started to rip the tissue he was holding into small pieces.

"Yeah, I guess so. I can only have the most fucked up story and it'll make people feel so much better about themselves. That's probably what I'll ever be good for; the worst case scenario…'I could have been him'!" Malfoy said.

"Malfoy, stop it. You're not the worst case scenario." Jade said.

"Really? I'm not? Since you know so much, tell me who else is in my position?" he asked.

"Astoria…your mother. Think of all those women that fear for their husbands, boyfriends, brothers and friends that work for that wretched, broken thing? He's miserable; it's the only reason why he's taking as much as he needs. Powerful men, young men, men who he could have been if he didn't choose that kind of life for himself. He wants to turn his best case scenarios into his scenario…one of the worst things that could ever happen to someone." Jade said. "I'm not strong enough to do this. If I fail, I put my family on the line. He'll never understand if I have a moment of weakness." Malfoy said, trying to speak as small tears fell to the ground. He slowly took a seat on the floor, covering his face with his hand. He looked tired and worn from the demands made by his master.

Jade had a small feeling of softness for the former bully who was always known for irritating comments and a good candidate of breaking a wall down with his head. She could see why Astoria fell for him, he wasn't an entirely a bad person even though his dark side sometimes overwhelmed his good. She felt awkward to watch him cry so she got up and tried to hug him, knowing that she was setting herself up for being yelled at or pushed away. Either way, this was someone Astoria loved and she wasn't going to let him suffer without her trying to do something about it. Life couldn't have been more interesting. A few years ago if someone told her that she would be dating Fred, fall head over heels for him and cheat on him with McLaggen before consoling a terribly upset Draco Malfoy on the second floor bathroom, she would have seriously jinxed the poor soul's head backwards after punching it.

"Do you want to get paid? I can pay you for this." Malfoy said, twenty minutes later. He reached for his robe but Jade stopped him, shaking her head and chuckling.

"It's okay; I don't charge money for therapy." Jade said.

"Oh…okay." He said. Jade nodded and realized that she needed to go back to her dormitory.

"We should start heading back or else they'll wonder where we are." Jade said. Malfoy nodded quickly and took a deep breath. His eyes were down, studying the pattern of the bathroom tiles as he spoke.

"I guess…you know. Thanks…whatever. For this. I don't know or care, you probably can't wait to go back to your House to tell everyone that you saw me crying." He said.

"I'm not a Slytherin if you hadn't noticed already. I value privacy just as much you do. I won't tell a soul about this." Jade said. Malfoy looked up, swallowing hard.

"Thanks." He said, trying to keep his voice neutral.

"I kind of used you as an outlet too. We all need someone to talk to." Jade said, picking up her robe.

"I'd appreciate this if you didn't tell anyone…especially Astoria or Weasley." Malfoy said seeing Jade nod.

"Consider it done. I'll see you around, Malfoy." Jade said seeing him put a hand up to signal her goodbye.

Jade walked into the common room, seeing a few people talking to each other and waiting until dinner to go down to the Great Hall. She walked upstairs to the dormitory to see Ginny braiding her hair.

"Hey, where did you go?" Ginny asked. Jade went to respond but Astoria rammed into her back and quickly held on to her.

"Sorry about that hot stuff, you heavily attract me with your magnetism." Astoria said.

"What the hell did you smoke?" Jade asked. Astoria pushed Jade in and closed the door behind her.

"What the hell will I smoke should be the question. Check this out!" Astoria said, taking out a few badly rolled up joints in a small bag.

"What are you doing with this?" Ginny hissed.

"Chuck that shit out of a window or something! If Hermione sees this she'll-"

"Calm the fuck down the both of you! Merlin, I've never seen a sorrier excuse of trolls than you two." Astoria said. Ginny shook her head, still looking alarmed. She slowly held her hands up, pointing to herself and Jade.

"Sane." She said slowly, waving her hand back and forth between her and Jade. She then pointed to Astoria. "Off her bloody rocker." Ginny said.

Astoria clicked her teeth and pulled out a joint.

"Let's smoke just a little bit! I've been wanting to try it since I confiscated it from two little twats in the common room." Astoria said.

"How did you confiscate drugs from anybody? You're not even a Prefect." Jade said, looking at it. Astoria snorted.

"Yeah, good luck asking them. They nearly pissed themselves from terror. Listen guys, we are going to smoke this because you both love me." Astoria said, seeing them grimace. "And it's going to take your mind off of your breakups. I agree the fallout was horrible but don't you think a little help from our friend is going to make us feel a wee bit better?" Astoria asked.

"Yeah I don't love Fred that much." Jade said, shaking her head. Astoria looked to Ginny.

"And what's your excuse, monkey?" Astoria asked.

"If she doesn't like Fred that much then I forgot Dean a very long time ago." Ginny said.

"This is peer pressure my friend." Jade pointed out.

"You both are pressuring me to feel miserable like Chang. Who wants to be that sad anyways? Isn't that a form of peer pressure?" Astoria asked.

"That's a horrible excuse, Ass. Cedric died." Ginny winced.

"Yes and the sky is blue. Look, my ex-boyfriend is a Death Eater from the last time I checked and he's going to have himself killed or kill himself, that's the only way I see things ending. You slept with a prick and double crossed a good man and you're in love with a man who doesn't care about your existence and until then you'll just be in a series of unstable and sour relationships. Look ladies, we've all got issues, clearly at fifteen, our love lives are shit but I'm hoping to live it out until I'm three hundred cause seriously, who wants to shit in a pan for the rest of their lives? Anyways, the point of the story is kids, no matter how long our lives are, tomorrow is uncertain but right here and right now is in my hands and oh look, coincidentally there just happens to be a fat joint in my fucking hands so if you don't mind me, I'd like to smoke this until Draco and all of my problems simultaneously wisp out of my two fucking ears while I see you two still unhappy and moping about your lives." Astoria said, taking her wand out and lighting the end of the joint.

Jade held out her hand.

"Pass it here when you take a hit." She said.

After an hour, Jade, Astoria and Ginny walked out of the common room, into the hallway. They saw Mrs. Norris sitting in the middle of the hallway, staring at them curiously. Filch appeared at the end of the hallway, seeing the girls giggle and humming a song.

"What are you girls doing there? Wanderers! You'll be punished!" Filch said. They all turned to him, smiling but Jade went to run the other way. Astoria and Ginny grabbed her by her arms and pulled her back.

"Hey there Filch! Let me ask you a question old man!" Astoria said walking up to him.

"You'll ask no questions! I'm going to make sure you'll get whipped for this." Filch said. He shook from surprise, looking at Astoria who placed her arm on his shoulder and smiled.

"What would you do if I sang out of tune, would you stand up and walk out on me?" Astoria sang.

"Er…what kind of question is that and why are you singing?" Filch asked. Astoria grabbed his hand and pulled him to dance with her as Ginny and Jade stepped along.

"Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song, and I'll try not to sing out of keeeey." Astoria sang, pushing Filch off.

"Oh I get by with a little help from my friends, Mmm, I get high with a little help from my friends," and punting Mrs. Norris across the hallway.

Mrs. Norris screeched and bolted out of the hallway, disappearing. Jade, Ginny and Astoria ignored Filch's yells and danced down the hallway in perfect synchronization, belting out the chorus.

"Mmm, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends." They skipped side to side, hand in hand. Astoria and Ginny let go of Jade who ran off and slid down the banister of the staircase. She lightly landed on her feet and whipped around, grinning at Astoria and Ginny who did the same at the exact same time.

A fourth year stopped, watching Jade tumbling down the stairs as Ginny and Astoria laughed and slowly went down the stairs. Jade stopped at the bottom of the stairs, pulled herself up, still laughing. He had seen her ankle bend awkwardly on her way down but she got up and limped, singing obnoxiously and grabbed him by the collar.

"What do I do when my love is away?" Jade sang.

"Does it worry you to be alone?" Ginny and Astoria sang back.

Jade sashayed off as Astoria and Ginny followed, running behind her.

"How do I feel by the end of the day?" Jade sang, stopping.

"Are you sad because you're on your own?" Ginny and Astoria sang back.

Jade grabbed the fourth year's collar and sang

"No, I get by with a little help from my friends!" she said. She threw him off to the side as Astoria and Ginny danced with her with their arms up and down, stepping front and back.

"Mmm, get high with a little help from my friends, Mmm, gonna try with a little help from my friends!" they all sang. They entered another hallway, skipping down.

"Do you neeeeeeed anybody?" Astoria and Ginny sang. Jade nodded.

"I need somebody to love." She sang, shrugging. Astoria and Ginny flashed a smile.

"Could it beeeeeee anybody?" they sang. Jade nodded again and sang.

"I want somebody to looooove."

"Would you believe in a love at first sight?" Ginny and Astoria sang, circling around Ginny.

"Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time!" Ginny sang.

"What do you see when you turn out the light?" Astoria and Jade sang.

"I can't tell you, but I know it's mine. Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends," Ginny sang.

Everyone in the Great Hall heard screeching and shrilling from the hallways. They turned their heads, their chatter quieting. Everyone saw Ginny stumbling in with her hair wild, singing wildly off key. Astoria and Jade guffawed, rushing in and limped around, shaking their arms and heads, singing as horribly as Ginny did. Sometimes Jade fell, clutching her foot and Astoria would trip over herself, making rude gestures towards Malfoy.

"Just what the hell is this?" Ron asked, next to Harry.

"Mmm I get high with a little help from my friends, oh, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends!" they sang and jumped on to the table. Everybody smiled and clapped in unison.

"Do you neeeeeed anybody?" Jade and Astoria sang, following Ginny's lead on to the table.

"I just need someone to love." Ginny sang.

"Could it beeeeeee anybody?" Jade and Astoria sang, dancing back and forth.

"I want somebody to loooove. Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends, Mmm, gonna try with a little help from my friends oh, I get high with a little help from my friends yes I get by with a little help from my friends, with a little help from my frieeeeeeeends!" the three sang as everyone sang and danced with them.

Confetti and sparklers filled the air and everyone cheered at them, clapping their hands as they stood frozen with their brilliant smiles and their arms raised for the finale.

"I don't understand what's going on." Ron whispered as everyone stared silently at Astoria, Jade and Ginny who were trying to stand still, their eyes wide and their breathing heavy from all the running, stumbling and falling.

"They just killed a Beatles song." Harry whispered back.

"Beedle the Bard had a song?" Ron asked.
