The camp packed up and moved the day after. As they hiked, they stopped by an old bridge and enchanted it for a spontaneous bungee jump. Draco thought they were all mad. Who wouldn't be if they spent months living in a jungle? Jade and only two of her colleagues were ready to free fall and Draco stared at her and even asked her if she was sure with this. Jade only grinned as hard as she could and was mad enough to ask if he wanted to join. Fred and Astoria panicked, begging Draco to stop her in case something went wrong but there was no stopping Jade. She slowly stepped over the edge, peering down. With a brief look of fear on her face she reached her arms out, smiled and screamed all the way down.

"You're literally out of your mind." Draco said. Jade hiked alongside him with her traveling gear. She flashed him a smile and winked.

"It would only make sense to be mad to enjoy some of the mad things in life." Jade said.

"Isn't she sexy?" Astoria asked. Draco raised his eyebrow at Astoria who pointed to Jade. Her hair was tied in a ponytail but there was a strand that was curled to the side and matted on her neck. She wore no makeup except some lipstick but Draco couldn't stop noticing how big her eyes were.

"That's her favorite lipstick. She doesn't wear that unless she really likes someone." Fred said.

Draco wanted to ask what their problems were and why they were saying the things that they were saying but Jade was right next to him. She was going to think he was some type of nutter. Wait. Why did he care what she thought of him? Draco went to open his mouth but decided not to look stupid.

"There's a stream up ahead!" Jacob said from the front.

"Great. I've been running out." Jade said, taking her flask out and shaking a few drops into her mouth. Draco looked away, avoiding any type of thought he would have if he continued to watch her.

"Some of us can finally get out of these clothes and cool each other off." Sheila said, making eye contact with Draco before walking ahead of him.

"Keep walking whore." Astoria said.

"I guess some of us are thirstier than others." Jade said, making Draco, Astoria and Fred laugh. When they had gotten to the stream, everyone rushed to set their bags down and ran to refill their canteens.

"I feel like I'm going to die in this heat." Jade said, taking off her boots. Sheila shed her shirt and shorts off. She walked past Draco with a smirk and dipped into the water. Jade untied her hair and looked at Draco. "Are you coming?" Jade asked.

"You really should join her." Astoria said.

"Maybe later." Draco said. Jade shrugged and wasted no time, going into the cool water. Draco, Astoria and Fred watched her laugh and gasp sharply at how cold the water was. He sat against a tree, watching everyone cackle and splash water on each other. "What are you two up to?" Draco asked Fred and Astoria who were whispering intensely. They jumped and turned around, trying to look innocent.

"What?" they asked at the same time. Draco squinted at them and Astoria batted her eyelashes, looking back at Jade.

"What's wrong with your boyfriend? Is he on his period or something?" Maria asked Jade.

"Definitely not my boyfriend." Jade said, wading through the water with her. Maria stole a peek at Draco and looked back at Jade.

"He's always looking at you." She said. Jade casually looked over at Draco who was sitting there, his eyes fixed on her. Jade turned back and Maria giggled, seeing Jade smile and throw water on her face.

"Crazy." Jade said, disappearing underneath the water.

"Go into the water!" Astoria told Draco.

"No! Leave me alone!" Draco said. They saw Jade getting out of the water and on her way towards them. Her hair was pushed back and she was dripping in water, her skin shining from the bright sunlight.

"Malfoy! What's wrong? We're leaving soon and you're missing everything!" Jade said.

"See? Thank you! At least one of takes life for granted." Fred said. Jade pressed her hands against Draco's cheeks.

"Wow, the water really is cold!" Draco said, seeing Jade nod excitedly.

"And you feel like you're burning from a fever. You should really cool down before you have a stroke or something." Jade said.

"Go! It's like taking a child to the supermarket…bad idea!" Astoria said.

"I'm not saying this for you to have fun if that's what you're concerned about. It's purely for survival." Jade said. Draco sighed and stood up. He peeled his shirt off and placed it over her head. Jade sputtered and took the shirt off from her head, seeing him slowly wade into the water. Most of the girls watched him and bit their lips, staring at his torso.

"I should have worked out a little more before I died." Fred said, squeezing his biceps.

"I am never bored seeing that body." Astoria said, staring at Draco running his hands through his hair as the water streamed down his chest and abdomen.

"He literally has six packs! Like those male models posing in Witch's Weekly! Whatever. Jade loves my body, don't you, baby? Jade?" Fred asked, seeing Jade slowly set Draco's shirt down, taking as much time as she could to keep looking at Draco. "Ew, someone kill me now." Fred said, walking away.

"Hey stud." Sheila said, appearing in front of Draco in her underwear.

"Get out of my way." Draco said, seeing Sheila stare at him, open mouthed. Jade went back into the water shivering and dipped her head underneath the water. She was underneath for several seconds, hearing everyone's muffled voices above and finding stillness under water. After she emerged, she looked around and went into a water war with the rest of her colleagues.

"I think it's fair if Jade gives up Draco for one day so I can have at him." Stacy said. Jade shook her head as the girls giggled. Draco was getting to bond with the other male Healers of the group, exchanging stories and jokes.

"OOOH. Water's cool! What are we talking about?" Astoria asked, floating next to Jade.

"Like I said, he's not my boyfriend or anything so have at him to your heart's desire!" Jade said.

"None of you better even make a move." Astoria said.

"It looked like Sheila was trying real hard to get his attention." Maria said.

"He's looking at Jade again." Stacy said, trying to be as discreet as possible. The girls immediately looked at Draco who gave them a small wave. Jade left the group of giggling girls and pulled herself up on a rock. She sat down and felt her feet running through the water as she threw her head back, drying up. Draco looked at her and back at the trees, suddenly feeling like they weren't alone.

A sudden flash sliced through the air towards Jade's direction. Jade felt something hit her upper arm with incredible force followed by a sharp pain. It was a small and thin arrow sticking out of her arm. The girls screamed as another arrow flew past, unsuccessfully hitting a rock.

"Get your things and run! We're on a tribe's territory!" Eric shouted. Jade stumbled off the rock, feeling like her legs felt heavy. She didn't comprehend that she had gotten shot with an arrow and that her life may be in danger. Draco grabbed her other arm and grabbed his shirt and gear.

"Run!" Draco yelled. He pulled her to cross the stream and Jade followed him, trying to cross as quickly as she could. She felt another arrow whiz by her head and her heart nearly stopped from fear. Draco yanked her up and they disappeared into the jungle again. Draco forgot how long they were running for. All he knew was that he was holding on to Jade's arm as tightly as he could and she was running alongside them. They reached an opening where Jacob stopped and looked around, panting.

"This is safe." Jacob said.

"Are you sure? Because it just looks like we're an open target for these people if we're here." Draco said seeing Jacob nod.

"Trust me, they won't come here. We're not intruding on their territory anymore. Oh my god, Jade." Jacob said.

Everyone turned to Jade who was shaking, her arm bleeding profusely over her clothes, down her leg. Draco looked down to her feet to see that she had been running barefoot beside him for ten minutes without stopping. Her feet were caked with mud but he knew that they were scratched up and bloodied too.

"We have to figure out if the arrow was poisonous." Maria said. Jade found a rock to sit on as they stopped the bleeding on her arm.

"How are you feeling?" Stacey asked.

"A little ansty. I don't think the arrow was poisonous." Jade said.

"Where is the arrow?" Draco asked, pouring water over her feet and wiping the mud off with a towel.

"I think I pulled it out at one point because it kept hitting trees on our way here." Jade said.

"Thankfully the arrow wasn't poisonous and you're even luckier there weren't any snakes that bit you on your way here." Jacob said, inspecting her feet. "This was incredibly dangerous and I am so sorry for not being more careful. I'm lucky everyone is alive." Jacob said, putting an arm around Jade.

"Wish Eli was here. He probably would have been the one to get shot instead of Jade." Maria said as everyone broke into a small laugh. After wrapping up Jade's wound and receiving a potion, everyone was ready to move on to the next apparatable location where they could apparate back to the city.

"So you don't have an extra pair of shoes?" Jacob asked Jade who shook her head.

"My gear and shoes were left behind." She said.

"Here. Take my shoes." Draco said, taking off his boots.

"Draco please, you don't have to do that." Jade said.

"I don't think I have a choice. I'll improvise." Draco said.

"I have plastic wrap. We can also wrap your feet up with plastic and place a drying charm on them in case." Eric said, seeing Draco nod.

"Good idea." He said.

"Why don't you do that to me? That way Draco can keep his boots." Jade said.

"Don't worry about me. Your feet area already injured as it is." Draco said, slipping the boots on her feet.

During the trail, Draco had to stop every twenty minutes because the plastic wrap tore up and they spent various ways to invent a durable plastic shoe for Draco. Jade felt bad, having to stop and get Draco's feet wrapped again while she wobbled about in his massive shoes. This time, Draco tied two shirts over the plastic so they wouldn't rip through as much. It looked incredibly comical where the team stopped Draco and Jade to take a picture of her wearing his boots and his impromptu shoes.

"This is so embarrassing." Jade said, holding Draco's arm as he guided down a steep.

"Where's your adventurous side, Longbottom? I think this is a great story to tell at a dinner party." Draco said seeing her grin.

"Well this is a pleasant surprise. Draco Malfoy the grump of all grumps telling Jade Longbottom that she needs to have an adventurous side. Ass would be proud." Jade said. Draco looked at Astoria and Fred who grinned.

"She's probably somewhere smiling as hard as she could with Weasley." Draco said.

"It felt like The Battle of Hogwarts all over again. It always feels like my body shuts down when something dangerous happens." Jade said.

"It happens to all of us. Some of us are just more used to the danger so we're prepared how to react for it." Draco said.

"Thanks for always showing up whenever I needed help the most." Jade said.

"You're welcome." Draco said.

To their relief, they had finally reached the location where apparating was available. Everyone wasted no time to get back to the city. They returned the beach lodge that they had originally been staying in as students before they embarked on their journey into the jungle and immediately went into their cabins to take a long shower. It felt like an incredible relief to return to a plush and cool bed in an air conditioned room in a hotel that had been incredibly clean without large mosquitos hovering around and insects to surprise Draco at every corner. He never wanted to go back into a jungle or even a bloody forest for that matter. No thank you. Eli's team had gotten back the next morning, meeting with Jacob's team. Eli avoided Jade and Draco at all costs during their meals which had been a great relief to Jade.

In the evening, the group was gathered to attend a bonfire meeting. Everyone sat in a circle, retelling their favorite part about their stay and what they had learned and perfected in their skills of becoming a Healer. Jacob and Eric told everyone about what had happened in the forest and made Jade show the scar on her arm where the arrow was shot through. As a gift, Jacob pulled out a box of Firewhiskey's and distributed them all around. They sat for hours, talking and playing drinking games. The entire time, Maria and Stacey kept telling Jade that Draco couldn't keep her eyes off of her from across the circle and whenever Jade met his eyes, he would only give her a warm smile and look away.

"Let's make a drinking game out of that. For every time Draco looks at Jade, we drink!" Maria whispered. Jade snorted, making the entire group of girls laugh. Maria saw Stacey starting to snog Jacob and laughed even harder, pointing at them.

"Let's get out of here." Stacey said, getting up and taking Jacob with her.

"You should go sit next to her and see if she's okay." Fred said. Draco shook his head and grabbed a bottle of rum.

"No more drinking Draco. Go sit next to her. She's glowing. Isn't she pretty?" Astoria sang.

"Will you two just shut up?" Draco asked.

The couple that had been sitting near him, looked baffled. Before Draco could apologize and explain himself, they scurried off, leaving him alone with the girls. Jade got up and laughed, throwing her head back, placing a hand on her stomach. Draco almost spit his drink out.

"You look like Hagrid when you're laughing." Draco said, making Jade howl even louder. Draco broke into laughter, not noticing that her friends got up and walked away.

"Goodnight you two." Maria said, giving them a wave.

"Where are you going?" Jade said in between laughs.

"Goodnight Jade!" Maria said, leaving. Jade turned back to Draco and walked over to him.

"You, me, drinking contest." Draco said.

"Maybe we should leave. We all know where this is going to lead to." Fred told Astoria who gave him a halfhearted smile.

"I could sure use a drink right about now." Astoria said.

"You and me both, love. How about a romantic walk on the beach?" Fred asked with an arm around her.

"I thought you'd never ask, darling!" Astoria said.

"Ready, Hagrid?" Draco asked, pouring Jade a drink.

"You're very charming you know? Calling me Hagrid. Remember when you called Ginny a gorilla?" Jade asked. Draco furrowed his eyebrows.

"Ginny Weasley? When did I call her a gorilla?" Draco asked.

"Remember when Ass and Gin put up all of those posters of you and McLaggen?" Jade asked. She saw Draco's reaction and tried not to laugh when he tried to imitate who he explained his version of how he thought Ginny acted when Jade asked Cormac to the Yule Ball.

"Well she always tagged around with Ass and acted nothing short of a gorilla. Everything Ass said, 'YEAH'!" Draco barked. They both broke into laughter, reminiscing about their adventures in Hogwarts. Jade poked fun at Draco's story about being plastered on to the wall stark naked by Astoria and Draco made fun of Jade over cheating on Fred with McLaggen.

"Hey, that's not funny." Jade said. Fred and Astoria walked over, seeing that they were still talking to each other.

"It's been two hours!" Astoria whispered.

"They look so close to snogging." Fred said, jerking his head at the scene. Jade and Draco were sitting side by side, pressed close to each other. Their knocked their legs with each other back and forth as they chatted away. At one point, Jade turned her body, facing Draco's side, her knee resting on his thigh.

"When you told me you kissed McLaggen, I really worried about you. First Weasley, then McLaggen?" he asked. Jade shoved his shoulder with her fingers.

"There's nothing wrong with Fred. It certainly is an improvement from kissing you." Jade said. From the fire, Jade could see that Draco's pupils dilate. He smiled softly, looking at her face, her lips and back to her eyes.

"I completely forgot about that." Draco said, in a low voice. Jade smiled, placing a hand over her face.

"You were my first kiss. I can't believe you kissed me before Fred did!" Jade said, hearing him laugh, close to her face. She felt his fingers behind her head as his thumb touched the bottom of her lip.

"I was your first kiss?" Draco asked. Jade took her hands away from her face, watching Draco play with her hair. He slid his hand into hers, and pressed a small kiss against her lips. He retracted, his lips still against hers and felt her respond, kissing back. Fred watched Jade kissing Draco back shyly. He was worried that Draco would take advantage of her and was ready to yell at him and make his life a living hell if he did. They deepened their kiss, moving their hands around the back of their heads, their bodies and taking soft breaths. Fred saw Draco move Jade's hair behind her ear and kiss her tenderly, making her smile and blush. They ended up lying on the sand, as the bonfire died, looking up at the sky and the full moon.

"The last time I ended up at the beach with another man, it didn't end well." Jade said, lying on her back. Draco smiled, taking her hand.

"I'm not an idiot. I don't think you're my pet and I don't drug women into kissing me." He said. Jade sighed and they fell back into silence, wondering.

"I've been missing Fred so badly since you showed up." Jade said. She felt a sob at her throat but she tried repressing it. A few tears leaked from the corners of her eyes and she kept talking, not realizing that at every word, her voice started elevating and her sobbing became more apparent. "I don't know why. You showed up and it…it just feels like you brought Fred with you." Jade breathed. Draco blinked at her, not knowing what to say or do. "I've been avoiding everything and doing everything that didn't let me have to think about Fred or Astoria but I think about them every single day." Jade said, sitting up. "I think about them every single day and I…I had to get away from everyone that kept telling me to talk about my feelings. I had to get away from Molly, Astoria's parents and my parents who don't even remember who I am." Jade said hysterically.

Draco immediately sat up, trying to calm her down but Jade's face was twisted in grief and she sobbed openly.

"I come all the way here to escape and I don't want to go back Draco. You don't know how it feels to go back to everyone. I feel suffocated. Everyone wants me to be happy but how can I? Ginny is married with two children and everyone's giving me pressure to move on and get married. They think I'm stuck on Fred forever but so what if I want to be?" Jade asked. She looked at Draco, seeing him look at her intensely. He was rubbing her back as she cried and breathed as hard as she could. "My parents have Alzheimer's." Jade said.

"No they don't." Draco said, seeing Jade nod.

"Both were diagnosed at the same time. They just started forgetting everything and one day, I woke up and my mother was so terrified because she didn't know who I was. She kept asking who I was and what I wanted and that she was pregnant and pleaded me to take anything in the house that I wanted but to leave her and her baby alone." Jade said, covering her face with her hands. She shook in her sobs and Draco, gritted his teeth. He brought her closer, feeling her fall into him. The two sat there, hugging each other tightly for a few minutes.

"I tried to kill myself a year ago." Draco said.

"What?" Jade asked, looking up at him. Draco nodded, not being able to look at her.

"I couldn't find an outlet like you. Go around the world and focus on Healing people. I was much more depressed than I thought after Astoria died. I was a danger to Scorpius, barely spent any time with him because I was so angry. I was never able to understand my feelings and too proud to get any help so I tried to hang myself." Draco said. Jade didn't know what to say. She only stared at him in silence. "We're always going to be faced with adversities, at every corner in our lives. Whether we like it or not, we're going to have to choose how to react. It was the biggest and most selfish mistake I've ever made and everyone knows I've made so many of those." Draco said.

"What stopped you from hanging yourself?" Jade asked.

"Well the rope broke and I hit my head really hard on the way down. Now all I can see is-nothing." He said quickly.

"All you see now is what?" Jade asked.

"Nothing." Draco said. "Draco. What do you see? Is this why you talk to yourself? I always thought you were mad but it just started to look so real." Jade said. Draco sighed, deciding that he should tell her but she was most likely going to run for the hills and never look back. He only shook his head but she was very curious. "I saved your life. In a jungle. I deserve to know." Jade said.

"You're a Healer. You had no choice but to save my life and you don't deserve to hear anything from me." Draco said.

"Why are you so testy for?" Jade asked, seeing him stand up.

"Testy? I'm testy?" Draco asked. He only glared at her for a few seconds before walking away. Jade got up and started running after him.

"Why don't you just try me? What's the worst that I can do? What are you afraid of?" Jade asked.

"I'm not afraid of anything. I just don't want to be thought of as some deranged lunatic that you talk to out of pity." He said.

"How do you know I won't avoid you out of terror?" Jade asked. She smiled but he didn't take the joke very well.

"Get out of my way, Longbottom." He said.

"Draco-"

"I can see and speak to Astoria and Fred." Draco interrupted. Jade was still smiling but furrowed her eyebrows.

"What?" Jade asked.

"I can talk to your dead fiancé and my dead wife. I can see them too. They've been following me around for a year since I tried to kill myself and they won't leave me alone." Draco said.

"Stop being ridiculous. If you don't want to tell me, I'll drop it but don't make things up because that's not funny." Jade said, seeing him close his eyes and laugh.

"That's easy for you to say. I am not making this up. You asked so I'm telling you. This shouldn't be my burden anymore so I'm sharing. They have been with me for a year and I couldn't take it anymore so I started looking for you and this is the reason why I am here now. I tracked you down and followed you into that jungle, hoping to transfer both of them to you." Draco said.

"What on earth do you think of yourself?" Jade asked.

"This is exactly why I didn't want to tell you anything. You were just going to stand there, pissed as hell, seconds away from crying." Draco said.

"Don't ever speak to me again. Why would you ever think something like that is funny?" Jade asked, walking away from him.

"Why would I think it's funny? My wife died!" Draco said, walking after her. "Jade." Draco said, going to grab her hand but Jade whipped around, pointing a finger at him.

"Leave me alone Malfoy. Stop following me." Jade warned.

"Why couldn't you just act like that with your friend, Eli? Would have saved me a bruised hand and a few stitches." Draco said, touching the cut on his cheek that Jade stitched up for him a few days ago.

"Go to hell." Jade said, leaving.

"What happened last night?" Astoria asked. It was the morning after and Draco was sitting on his bed, fresh from a shower.

"On a scale of one to Voldemort having his souls destroyed by Harry, how disappointed are you that Jade didn't come back to your cabin last night?" Fred asked. Draco gave him a dirty look, sipping his coffee.

"Ah, let it go Fred. Jade's one of those traditional types. It's why men drug her to sleep with her. Don't worry Draco, you'll get to her." Astoria said, taking a seat in front of him.

"Yeah mate, don't take it personally. She's shy at first and it takes a while to get to her but you'll sleep with her in no time." Fred said, nodding. He suddenly looked uncomfortable at the thought of encouraging Draco to sleep with the woman that he loved. "My soul is forever corrupted." Fred said. Draco set his cup down.

"What is wrong with the both of you? Why are you throwing this poor girl in my face?" Draco asked.

"We're not…throwing anything at you." Astoria said, looking at Fred who looked equally confused by Draco's question.

"You two have been trying to set me up with her since the bloody jungle. Trying to get me to like her and telling me how pretty she looked and nonsense." Draco said.

"We didn't have to tell you that." Fred shrugged.

"You both looked completely fine to me last night." Astoria said. Draco blinked at her.

"Unbelievable." Draco said.

"What?" Astoria asked.

"This is what you're doing? Helping me move on? You honestly think I'll be happy with someone like Longbottom?" Draco asked.

"You're acting like you don't care about her? I don't understand. Are you mad at her because you know you like her or are you mad at me for making you like her?" Astoria asked.

"Just because you're dead and you want me to be happy doesn't make you someone to decide what happens in my life. I'll see who I want to see, fuck whomever I want to fuck and marry them if I have to. Longbottom can go screw herself with you two." Draco said, standing up.

"Because you're doing so well for yourself aren't you?!" Astoria yelled.

"I want to be alone! That's just how I deal with things when my wife dies! I don't want to be with anyone else. Your best friend is alone because her fiancé died. Why do I get to be the scapegoat to comfort her?" Draco shouted.

"Fuck you." Astoria said, flipping him off.

"No, fuck you. I don't care how dead you are, you don't get to have a say on my life. Find some other idiot to think your friend is pretty. Actually, she's already engaged." Draco said. He walked out of the cabin and slammed the door shut. It was a humid day and the clouds were rolling in, threatening to rain. He walked down the stone trail, seeing the other cabins nearby. He glanced over to Jade's cabin, which was only two cabins away from his. He was furious at Astoria for thinking that he would do whatever she wished. He saw Fred walking out of the cabin and Draco shook his head.

"Don't even-"

"Believe me, I am not here to change your mind. I think your wife is completely mental. I felt as frustrated as you feel now." Fred said.

"So why aren't you saying anything to her? Why don't you take care of it?" Draco asked.

"Because she isn't my responsibility. Just like Jade isn't to you. I don't have to take care of Astoria, why should I?" Fred asked. Draco rolled his eyes. "Listen no one is forcing you to like someone. Ass is a basket case and I went along with it because she strong armed me into it…and also because Eli wouldn't stop touching Jade's arse and Ass told you to not do anything about it." Fred explained quickly.

"I fell for that? Just so you would be convinced? Why am I an idiot?" Draco asked.

"Trust me; it's something even mystics will never be able to figure out. Don't stress yourself out. It's unfair to put all the pressure on you. I think you also need to give her a break. She's dead and she's wandering and has no idea why. The only people she can actually talk to is me and you." Fred said.

"I understand and I've been trying to help her but she just gets crazier and crazier every single day." Draco said. Fred shook his head.

"I don't know how you ended up marrying her. She's bat shit crazy." Fred said.

"Tell me about it. I deserve one of those medals you get after surviving a war." Draco said. Fred laughed and nodded. The two stood in front of the beach, watching the storm approach slowly from the ocean.

"My Jade is one of a kind. I loved her up until death and I figured out a way to love her for the rest of my soul's existence. I really appreciate that you helped her and spoke to her when she really needed a friend." Fred said. Draco gave Fred a half smile.

"I didn't really know anyone else here." Draco said. Fred chuckled, nodding.

"Yeah of course. I really do hope this fiancé of hers keeps her happy. I just want someone that can deserve someone so sweet, beautiful, smart and amazing as her." Fred said.

"How did she even fall for you?" Draco asked. Fred snorted.

"I gave her a black eye and sent her tons of flowers. She's kinky that way." Fred said.

"Draco!" Jacob called, walking over to him.

"Jacob." Draco said.

"You weren't here for breakfast today?" Jacob asked.

"Now really isn't the time so-"

"Oh sorry. It's just everyone was there to say bye to Jade and you weren't there. She even punched Eli on the way out." Jacob said.

"Bye to Jade?" Draco asked.

"She left this morning. It was all of a sudden but she said she didn't want to wait a few more days before leaving so she left early." Jacob said.

"Why would she do that?" Fred asked. Fred looked back at Draco who looked more guilty and confused.

"What happened last night?" Fred asked.

"Er…was she going back to England?" Draco asked, seeing Jacob nod. "Thanks Jacob." Draco said.

"What did you do to her?" Fred asked, walking into Draco's cabin with him. Astoria was sitting on the bed and looked up to see the two young men arguing.

"I didn't do anything to her." Draco said.

"Did you pull a McLaggen on her? Did you try to have sex with her on the beach?" Fred asked.

"Why don't you let that go?" Astoria asked.

"I did not try to have sex with her on the beach. We just…we kissed." Draco said. Fred still looked like he was waiting for something more and Astoria yawned. "We kissed…aren't you two going to be upset?" Draco asked.

"Well that's what we were going for, Hermione Granger. I don't think she minded the kiss, what happened last night that would make her leave?" Astoria asked. Draco put his hands on his hips and cleared his throat.

"Well…now that I think about it. I may have told her that I can see and speak to the two of you." Draco said.

"WHAT?!" Fred and Astoria roared.

"Are you out of your fucking mind?" Fred asked.

"To be fair, I was still a little drunk." Draco said.

"Nice! Draco Malfoy, scaring away the ladies." Astoria jeered.

"Stay out of this Ass." Draco said.

"Oh of course. It's not like you needed anyone's help to send people running for their lives. That's why he was in such a rotten mood this morning and started this 'I Hate Jade' campaign. It's because you two got into a fight and you like her!" Astoria said.

"Heaven surely must have duct tape to make her shut the hell up." Draco said.

"There's no heaven where Ass is." Fred muttered.

"I heard you Weasley." Astoria said.

"Good." Fred said.

"I would say a few words about the situation right now but no one listens to Astoria when she's right. I got yelled at because Malfoy was being pressured into liking someone but when someone waves a juicy piece of temptation at you, it's your choice to indulge and you indulged into a big juicy piece of Jade." Astoria said.

"Stop it." Draco said, placing his suitcase on his bed.

"Are you going to get her?" Astoria asked.

"No. I am going home because my work here is done. By the way, I told Jade last night the reason why I came and I'll tell you two as well. I came here to get rid of the both of you. I've planned this for the entire year, looking for Jade and came into the jungle not by any bloody chance-" Draco said looking at Fred. "-but on purpose. You two annoy the living shit out of me. It's like two loud walking migraines that no one else can hear and I am sick of it. I felt that if I can see it and experience it, why should I suffer? Why not find Longbottom and load this dump on her as well? I come all the way here to realize it isn't going to work and is never going to work and after you two putting this nonsense in my brain about her, she's run off to her fiancé. Thank you, you two. Not only am I a big fucking idiot; I'm a big fucking demented idiot that can actually see and speak to two dead people." Draco said.

Astoria and Fred were quiet, staring at him. The few silent moments where no one was speaking or making a sound made it seem like eternity for Draco. He realized he had taken his words a bit far.

"Wow." Astoria whispered, getting up. "I er…didn't realize I was such a burden to you. I'm sorry. I truly am." She said. Draco didn't say anything. He just stood there with his shirt in his hand, staring at his suitcase.

"I will make sure I don't bother you again or inconvenience you with my presence." Astoria spat, leaving. Fred smiled, with a tear in his eye.

"You think we did Jade a favor by getting you to like her? Someone like you doesn't even deserve half of Jade. Good luck with the rest of your life Malfoy. I mean it." Fred said, leaving Draco alone in his room.
