Chapter 2:
Dreadful Fair
Maeko and Misaki turned their backs to their parents and begun walking down the hall towards Hiro's room. Stopping at Hiro's door Maeko knocked. "Imoto~" Maeko called out as she turned the door knob and pushed the door in.
Walking into the dark room, Maeko kneeled down and looked under the bed. Hiro peeked her head out, scared. "Onēsan!" Hiro scurried out from her hiding place and clambered into Maeko's lap. "I don't wanna go!" Hiro cried. "Shh! We need to go or we all will be punished. Let's dust you off and head down stairs" Maeko said as she stood helping Hiro up as well. Brushing the tears off her face she hurried to brush her hair and dust her dress off. The three girls were ready and heading down stairs in no time, however try telling that to their father. At the bottom of the stairs was Tai. "Misses, your parents have decided to go on with out you all and expects your arrival to be swift!" Tai explained. Hiro and Misaki verbally and outwardly sighed in relief, where as Maeko made no visible indication that this was good news.
"OK Tai, Were ready" Maeko said as she headed down the stairs and out the front door with her younger siblings following behind. A White limo awaited the girls. Tai bowed his head briefly and opened the door for the girls to enter.
The ride from their mansion to the school was a short 10 minute drive. The limo driver pulled up to the front of the school allowing Tai to exit the vehicle to open the limousine door.
Hiro, Misaki and Maeko climbed out, dusting off their gowns/dresses of any dust or wrinkles before continuing to the festival inside the main ball room of the school.
Hiro's little face began to light up as she saw the way the ball room was decorated. It looked like a giant circus tent filled with a tight rope with performers walking across. There were trapeze artist swinging above them as well. The lights were full of color and twinkling across the ball room floor. In the middle of the ball room was a ringmaster dressed with a top hat designed with diamonds and rubies.
Watching the youngest Hamasaki sibling smile had brought joy to the twin themselves. Hiro was a shy and lonely little girl who did not get much attention from either of their parents. They usually bought her things to keep her out of the way or just to keep her quiet. She usually was taken care of by her two nannies or Tai their personal body guard and dear friend.
Her joyful giggles echoed as she took both her older siblings hand as they began to walk around the festival with Tai following close behind of course.
Weaving through the crowd they came across a few booths selling circus themed sweets and raffle tickets for carnival games. Misaki felt joyful as much as little Hiro. Even though their parents were here they were nowhere to be seen. Her school was a way of freedom so to speak. After the little makeover she was given she felt a little more confident and actually somewhat beautiful.
Passing more booths they had all stumbled upon their mother in the distance flirting with one of the music teachers. Having the top of her breast spilling over in her tight formed fitted dress. Their mother made eye-contact with them giving Maeko a twisted smile as she groped the mans nether regions and began to unbutton his pants. Not wanting to have Hiro or Misaki witness such an act she glanced to her left and saw a giant pink rabbit. Smiling to her self she took her siblings to a booth that was being hosted by non other then Honey Senpai himself with the help of Kyoya of course.
Maeko grabbed young Hiro's hand gliding through the crowd like a graceful dancer. Misaki glided easily as well following her two sisters to a booth covered in gold sequin drapes with Rose's and all types of candy to match. Seeing a boy pop up from behind scared little Hiro having her cling to her older sisters dress.
"Hi! You must be Hiro-chan, I have heard so much about you!" The blonde bundle of joy exclaimed with joy. Hiro made a small nose making both her sisters laugh. Kyoya pushed his glasses up with a sigh.
"Would you like to have some candy or some yummy strawberry cake." Honey smiled brightly. Young Hiro came out from behind her older sister as she saw a huge pink rabbit staring at her. Her little face had lit up. Maeko noticed she had made eye contact with Bun bun. Putting her small hands up she smiled pointing at the giant stuffed rabbit.
"Would you like to hold bun bun? Hiro-chan?" Honey grabbed the giant stuffed rabbit as he walked to the front of the booth with a piece of cake in the other.
"You know, this is a lot of cake would you like to share it?" Honey smiled brightly as he gave the small Hamasaki sister his pride and joy. Hiro grabbed the rabbit and rubbed her small face to see how soft the stuffed toy was.
"Maeko-Chan don't you have some business to attend to? Like the dance Mori and you have been keeping a secret." Kyoya asserted making the twin roll her eyes. Misaki gave a look to her sister letting her know it was OK for her to find the silent boy her sister had fallen in love with.
"Go ahead Maeko. I'll be fine here with Honey-Senpai and Hiro-Chan. "
Maeko made her way through the rest of the festival. Again seeing her mother but this time with the devil twins and Misaki's boyfriend Tamaki.
Maeko quickly made the decision to defend Tamaki by interrupting her mother's prowl.
"Mother, There you are… Father noticed that you were sparing extra attention to the Music Teacher.." Maeko whispered in her mothers ear.
Kari Hamasaki frowned. "Thank you...Dear," She sneered. "I don't know what lies he thinks he saw.. or what have been told to him.. "Kari trailed off as she begun to look for her husband before he decided to do something foolish like cut her off.
As her mother shortly disappeared, Maeko felt her bubble begin to shrink as the Devil twins slid up against her draping their arms around her shoulder. "Thank's Senpai! We really thought she was going to eat the King up." Hikaru mumbled as he pointed to the corner of shame Tamaki was in.
"Yeah it was pretty brutal," Kaoru nodded his head with a contemplative look on his face.
Maeko sighed. "Can I trust you both to take Tamaki to Misaki while I locate Mori-Senpai for our dance"
The twins quickly shot to attention and saluted her, "Aye Aye Captain!" They said in unison as they quickly grabbed Tamaki from the floor rushing him to Honey's Booth.
Maeko didn't have time to locate Mori-Senpai, since he swooped her up and led her to the dance floor. The music stilled. Everyone eyes were upon the two of them as the stood in the very center of the Ball room.
The song "Así se baila el tango" Begun to play as Mori and Maeko got in step with their Tango. Mori was standing infront of Maeko looking at the crowd, Maeko stood behind him staring at his back. Maeko's Hand crept up Mori's chest, His fingers intertwining into her own, only for her to pull her hand away as she side stepped around him. Mori wouldn't let her get away as he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her into his chest in a side dip. Before quickly pulling Maeko away and into a twirl then back into his chest as they swayed. Mori led the dance very swiftly to the music. His movements flawless and strong. He begun to lead her across the dance floor as Maeko kicked her heeled feet in artful steps as the music picked up. Her Short dress twirled around her waist beautifully. Soon Maeko was lifted into the air as she kicked her legs out. Mori Twirled her into the air artfully never missing a beat.
Soon the dance and song came to an end. The ball erupted into cheers as Maeko bowed and curtsied.
