"It's primitive. So barbaric. There ought to be a law against it!" Ratchet stared in horror at the demonic facility.

"It's just an auto supply store, Ratchet," said Optimus.

"You mean they actually sell spare parts on the open market! What kind of malfunction would be crash enough to buy this stuff?"

Then as if on cue driving out of the store was Bumblebee.

"Hey, guys. Check out my new horn." He then began to be his new horn, much to Ratchet's annoyance and then transformed into robot mode. "This place has the greatest stuff! Fuzzy cube thingies…" He pulled out a pair of fluffy dice. "…Miniature human female replica…" He pulled out a bobblehead doll, and then he pulled out an air freshener. "…I don't even know what this is."

Ratchet then hit him across the head. "Knock it off, kid! We're heading home now!"

"Whoa, what pulled up your tailpipe?" Bumblebee asked. "The night is still young, unlike some bots I know."

"I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but Bumblebee's right. You need to get out more, Ratchet," Optimus suggested.

"Just got a funny feeling," said Ratchet rubbing the battle scar over his left hand. "Old war wounds acting up again. Usually means trouble brewing."

"You must have seen some pretty serious action back in the Great Wars," said Optimus said.

"Yes, I did! And no, I still don't wanna talk about it!" Ratchet snapped.

"That's what I'm saying," said Bumblebee. "Forget about the past. Loosen up! Enjoy the bright lights; the big city!" Just then, all the lights went off. "Okay then, the big city!"

Then they saw a flash of red lights and heard an engine revving up; they turned and saw a black and green striped muscle car driving down the road. It wasn't stopping, and they quickly jumped out of the way before it ran them over.

"Whoa, that guy is not going to win any safety awards," said Bumblebee.

Optimus turned to Bumblebee. "Bumblee, lights and sirens! We're taking that driver down!"

Bumblebee quickly transformed and flashed his siren as he chased the muscle car. He then transformed his arms and aimed his stingers at the car, and fired. However, whoever was driving the car was pretty good and managed to avoid the bolts of electricity.

He then performed a J turn and drove straight past Bumblebee without even stopping his engine. Coming down the road were Optimus and Ratchet, and they quickly noticed that two pedestrians were crossing the road in the path of the muscle car.

They quickly transformed into robot mode and jumped into action. Optimus tossed his axe cut off a billboard, grabbed it and jumped in front of the pedestrians. He then used the billboard as a ramp and allowed the muscle car to drive over him.

"Next time, you might want to look both ways you cross," Optimus advised.

"Okay, you guys!"

The two of them then quickly ran across the road.

Ratchet then got a good look at the muscle car as it flew across the air towards him, and it looked very familiar.

"Ratchet!" Optimus yelled.

"Ratchet?! Field Tech Ratchet, report! What just your staters?"Ratchet ducked behind the remains of a wall and activated his holo-comlink.

Ratchet was thinking back to the days of the Great Wars. He was currently on his own trying to search for an intelligence agent who had critical information. This order had come down from Ultra Magnus himself

" Decepticon fire everywhere, sir!" he responded. "We're pinned down!"

A small blast threw Ratchet across the floor.

"Medic! Medic! Someone help!" a voice called.

Ratchet looked into a hole in the ground to see a fembot lying on the floor with a missing leg.

"Ratchet, have you found the missing intelligence officer?" Ultra Magnus asked.

"Affirmative, sir. Unfortunately, so did the Decepticons!"

"I need her processor in one piece! She's carrying valuable top-secret access codes! They must not fall into Decepticon hands!"

Ratchet then jumped down using his magnets to control his descent and quickly approached the intelligent agent.

"Something's wrong, doc. My leg. I can't feel it," she groaned.

Ratchet bent down to examine it when he reached out to touch the leg got zapped. "Ow! For starters, you're in shock." She then groaned in pain. "Stay with me now. What's your name, soldier?"

"Ar-Arcee. It's Arcee, sir," she said as Ratchet examined her optics

"Don't call me sir! I used to work for a living. The name's Ratchet, you got that?"

"Yes, sir. Yes…Ratchet," she smiled at him.

"Okay, listen, Arcee," said Ratchet as a small generator shot out of his left arm. "This is an electromagnetic pulse generator. I'm going to temporarily overload your consciousness centre so I can do a field patch job."

"No! You could delete the access codes. They're too valuable."

"Don't worry, it will take a much stronger blast to do any damage to your memory core," Ratchet assured her.

Arcee nodded, and Ratchet blasted her his generator. He then laid her down and began working on her leg.

I'm going to have to sedate you so I can perform surgery. This should put you out in a simulated

Ratchet was still daydreaming as the muscle car pulled in towards him. It would have crushed him if Bumblebee hadn't shut him out of the way in time. The driver then carried on down the road going much faster than the national speed limit.

"You two are okay?" Optimus asked.

Ratchet immediately shot Bumblebee off of him. "We're fine!"

"You call that fine?!" Bumblebee demanded, "You froze up like a crankcase in December!"

"I did not freeze up!" He then began to rub his old war wound. "Must have been a glitch in my systems!"

"Speaking of glitches, what was up with the dude in the muscle car?"

The muscle car was still making its way down the road, but there was no driver in the driver's seat. The car itself had scanned the Autobots that he had encountered, confirming that they were indeed his targets.

"How many self-diagnostics are you going to run, Ratchet?" Optimus asked while Ratchet was treating his old war wound.

"As many as it takes."

"War wounds still acting up again?"

"Still not wanting to talk about it."

"But you know you can. Talk. To me. About anything. Any time. Bot to bot. If there's anything, you want to get off your chest plate."

"Are you finished?"

"Apparently, I am," said Optimus looking disappointed.

Optimus approached the other Autobots, who were watching the news. Apparently, the muscle car was back, and now the police were chasing after it.

"I've been monitoring all media for abortive power outages and this mysterious vehicle," said Prowl.

"I also did a scan of all the powerplants," Blackarachnia added. "There appears to be nothing wrong. It was on was as if someone flicked a switch turning the power off."

"Wait," said Prowl as he managed to locate a news report.

"We take you live to a News 44 copter following a high-speed police pursuit in progress," said Anchorman. They watched the police chasing the muscle car, but as it drove past buildings, their lights just turned off. "As you can see from this angle, the street lights have been going dark in a pattern following the pursuit vehicle."

Optimus looked at Blackarachnia. "Any theories?"

"The only thing that comes to mind is some sort of EMP," she said, frowning. "However, EMP Generators are extremely rare, and they have been in mass production since the end of the Great War. Additionally, there is no facility on this planet that has the ability to create an EMP generator, let alone strapped it to a car."

Ratchet had been listening and immediately began thinking back once again.

Ratchet had just finished installing a temporarily prosthetic limb on Arcee, but he could hear explosions erupting close by.

"Let's get you out of here, soldier," he said and transformed. He then used his magnets in order to load Arcee into him. "Too hot above ground, but take the old tunnels."

He then drove off down the nearest tunnel he could find, then heard the sound of an engine behind him. He quickly realised that he was being followed by an unknown pursuer.

"Eat my dust, decepter creep!" Ratchet yelled and created a smokescreen behind him.

He then tripped over a laser grid, and spikes erupted from the ground ahead of him. They punched his treads, and he began skidding across the ground.

"Sludge!" Ratchet cursed and lifted Arcee out of his storage unit.

He then transformed and placed himself between Arcee and his unknown assailant. The vehicle in front of him then immediately transformed, and stepping out of the shadows was a mech. However, he had no clear insignia, but he certainly didn't look like he was an Autobot.

"What are you hiding, med-bot?" he asked. "Wouldn't be an Autobot intelligence officer by any chance?"

His right hand then took off like a rocket heading straight towards Ratchet, but he used his magnets to stop it right in its tracks. He then tore the hand to pieces and then charged at his attacker.

Sadly, he easily blocked his attack and flipped him over onto his back.

"Tsk tsk, is that all you got?" he said, looking disappointed. "You're going to put me to sleep."

"I'll put you to sleep all right," said Ratchet and then quickly fired off his EMP generator.

Unfortunately, his attacker leaned back, and his shot struck the computer panel on the ceiling. A bulkhead door then fell from the ceiling and pinned him to the floor. He looked up and saw as a tactic clenching his left hand before pounding him in the head, knocking him out cold.

"Hey, Doc-bot!" said Bulkhead's voice.

Ratchet was brought back to reality and saw that the other Autobots had transformed.

"Did you hear Prime?" Bulkhead asked. "We're going after the pumpkin the muscle car."

"Okay, okay, don't throw a rod," Ratchet grumbled.

Optimus turned to face him. "Ratchet, you can monitor us from here if you not up to it?"

"I'm fine!" Ratchet snapped and transformed into vehicle mode. "Let's roll!"

They immediately drove out of the plants, and Blackarachnia hitched a ride with Optimus.

They had tried to split up into different directions to capture the muscle car.

Optimus was the first of them to catch up with the muscle car. "All right! We can do this the easy way or the hard way!"

Optimus then pulled out his foam cannon aiming directly at the muscle car. The muscle car responded by spilling oil across the road, and Optimus lost traction. Blackarachnia quickly jumped off of him, transformed to robot mode, and quickly fired some webbing around Optimus, who quickly transformed into a robot mode. Optimus brought out his axe and plunged it into the ground to slow his skidding. The two of them working together were able to stop him before he collided with a truck.

"Looks like he wants to do this the hard way," said Blackarachnia.

"Whoever this guy is, he is not to be taken lightly," said Optimus.

Bumblebee and Prowl were hot on his heels.

"Ratchet! Bulkhead! We're sending him your way!" Bumblebee reported.

Ratchet and Bulkhead were driving down the opposite end of the road, hoping to box the muscle car in. However, a beam shot out of the engine from the car, hitting the street lights and turning off the headlights.

When the lights came back on, the muscle car had vanished completely.

"Hey, no fair!" Bulkhead yelled.

Ratchet transformed into robot mode, his optics widened. "That car… the blackouts… No, it's impossible!"

Once again, he found himself reliving a memory. This time he was struck to an iron slab, and Arcee was strapped to a slab next to him. He tried using his magnets to free them, but it had no effect on their restraints.

"Your magnetic powers won't work on these cables," said a voice. Ratchet saw his attacker attaching a hook replacing the arm he destroyed. "Carbon fibre… none metallic.

"You Decepticon SCUM!" Ratchet snarled in anger.

"Oh, I'm not one of them. The name is Lockdown; I'm what you call a bounty hunter. Decepticon pay real good for info, battle plans, access codes. Your friend should net me some sweet upgrades. Of course, you know what I really live for? Hunting trophies." Ratchet then saw him pulling out his EMP generator on his right arm. "Like my new EMP generator. You like?"

"There he is!" Optimus shouted.

Ratchet snapped back to reality to see Optimus jumping from building to building. He then landed right in front of the muscle car blocking its path.

"You've done enough damage for one night! Now please step out of the vehicle, sir!" Optimus demanded.

"Just one problem." The muscle car then began to transform until standing in front of Optimus was Lockdown. "I am the vehicle."

"Who are you?"

"You can call me Lockdown," he said and then quickly fired his EMP generator and fired a beam at Optimus. He felt his entire body shutting down, and he fell to the floor. "Though you probably can't call me anything until you reboot yourself."

Ratchet had just reached them in time to see Lockdown grabbing Optimus. Then before he could do anything, Lockdown created a smokescreen, and they were gone.

"Prime! NO!" Ratchet yelled.

The Autobots tried to track Optimus, but they couldn't find energy signature.

"My scans show no sign of Prime or the muscle car," Prowl told the others.

"How does some human just disappear with Prime and mask his energy signature?" Bumblebee asked out loud.

"So, what do we do now?" Bulkhead asked Blackarachnia.

Blackarachnia then turned and looked at Ratchet.

"What're you lookin' at me fer? I'm a medic, not a field commander!" Ratchet snapped.

"Because you been acting strange ever since that muscle car appeared," said Blackarachnia bluntly. "You know something, and I think it's about time you tell us."

"First off, it's not a guy, and it's not a car. It's a Decepticon sorta. His name is Lockdown; he's the one who captured me in the Great Wars." He then pointed to the wound on his head. "The one who gave me this. He's a bounty hunter, delivers are kind to Decepticons in exchange for upgrades and takes our personal modifications as trophies."

Optimus had regained consciousness and found himself strapped to slab. He attempted to break free, but the cables were too strong.

"No, no, no, don't get up, Optimus Prime," said Lockdown approaching him.

"How do you know who I am?"

"It's my business to know. There's a hefty bounty on the head of the Autobot that destroyed Megatron."

"But that wasn't me. It was Star—"

"not my problem. All I know is when I turn you in, I'm looking at the best upgrades in my career." Lockdown walked over to a cabinet and looked through it.

"My Autobots will find you before you can even get off this planet."

"Bring 'em on! I could use some spare parts." Optimus then realised that he was missing his axe.

"Looking for something?" Lockdown held up Optimus's axe.

Optimus activated his grapplers, yanked the axe out of his hand, and pinned him into a shelf. The axe cut through the carbon-fibre cables. Optimus was about to get up but was hit by another EMP, leaving him dazed.

"That was a low-level EMP pulse. Just to quiet ya down." A new set of cables wrapped around Optimus and held him down. "Don't make me wipe your memory core." Lockdown picked up the axe.

"Gotta hand it to you, you're good. That axe is the first thing I'd ever seen could slice through those cables. But as nice as the axe is, I'm really impressed with those grapplers. Guess I'll just take em both."

His left hand became a chainsaw, and he brought it down towards Optimus.

The Autobots search the entire area for Lockdown, but they haven't found a single clue so far.

"We've been searching for megacycles!" Bumblebee breathed heavily, "We're never gonna find him."

"How could I not see it?" said Ratchet, mentally kicking himself. "Lockdown was casing us the whole time, hiding in plain sight. And we bought it! Bolt… cable—"

"Wait a second, 'hiding in plain sight.' That's the answer!" said Prowl. He activated his holo-projector and showed them a map. "This is a satellite image of old Detroit where Lockdown and Prime disappeared." He projected a new map with one difference: a missing building, "And the same area three days ago."

"Hey, Where'd that warehouse go?" Bulkhead asked.

"It was never there."

"A holographic cloak," Ratchet concluded.

"Masking the bounty hunters ship, no doubt. Clever," said Prowl.

"This bounty hunter is good; he's been one step ahead of us this entire time," said Blackarachnia.

"Not this time," said Bumblebee. "Come on, let's go and kick his tailfins in!"

"Let's transform and roll out!" said Blackarachnia.

They immediately began to transform, although apart from Ratchet.

"I can't go back there," said Ratchet.

"Are your circuits crossed? We're talking about Prime!" Bulkhead reminded.

Blackarachnia marched up towards him, which was rather threatening considering that she was in her beast mode. "You just keep running from your past; that's why you don't want to talk about it. Not that I'm any better myself, but there comes a time when you have to face your fears."

"No time to argue," said Prowl.

Blackarachnia lept onto Bulkhead and drove away, leaving Ratchet behind to contemplate.

After extracting Optimus' grapples, he immediately contacted his client, who was Blitzwing.

"You have Optimus Prime? Hand him over at once! Zat Autobot will pay for what he did to our leader!" Hotheaded Blitzwing commanded, shaking his fist.

"Yeah. Say, speaking of 'pay', I'm going to need mine first," said Lockdown.

"Patience, my bounty hunting friend. You shall not be disappointed with your upgrades. Provided that I'm not disappointed with your results," said Icy Blitzwing. Then his face transformed to his random form. "Oh! I want to see him turn into a fire truck! Can I? Can I? AHAHAHAHA HA!"

The Autobots reached the warehouse, or either Lockdown's ship, and transformed into robot mode.

"We have to be cautious," said Blackarachnia. "This bounty hunter is smart and skilled; we can't just go charging in there."

"No time! Let's get him!" Bulkhead yelled and charged.

Lockdown was already aware of their presence was observing them from his monitors.

"Autobots, predictable as ever," he said, activating the defences.

Turrets popped up around the facility and shot at the Autobots.

"Ow! Ow! Not the racing stripes!" Bumblee yelled as he dodged the lasers.

Blackarachnia and Prowl, being the most agile out of all them, were able to dodge the lasers. Prowl used his jump jet to get onto the roof and quickly sliced off a turret with his shuriken and shot at some other guns. Blackarachnia climbed up the walls and, with her claw-like fingers, slashed right through several turrets.

Bulkhead smashed his way through the wall and crashed through the hole. He looked at the room until he saw the silhouette of Lockdown's vehicle mode.

"So you wanna play rough? Do ya?" Bulkhead asked him. He prepared his wrecking ball.

"Bring it on, Autobot," he said as he transformed.

Bulkhead launched his wrecking ball, but Lockdown moved to the left. The wrecking ball smashed into a support beam, and Lockdown fired some residue. The substance called up Bulkhead's cable and wrapped around him.

"That stuff can't hurt me!"

"Don't have to hurt ya." Lockdown walked off.

Bulkhead tried to break free, but he couldn't get any leverage. "Hey, no fair!"

Bumblebee had finally managed to find a hiding spot from the turrets when they finally stopped shooting. Just then, he saw Lockdown drive by.

"Guys, I found him!" said Bumblebee and transformed to chase after him. "You can hide, but you can't run!"

Then suddenly, he saw Lockdown's armour merging from his window, holding Optimus's axe.

"Wait, that's Prime's axe," Bumblebee noted.

Lockdown drove near the wall and used the axe to slice through an oil pipe. The moment he hit the oil, Bumblebee began skidding around uncontrollably and then crashed into a fence, forcing him into robot mode.

"Uh-huh, Prime's axe. And pretty soon, I'll have your stingers," said Lockdown looking down at him. "Another trophy for the wall."

Lockdown then heard the sound of an engine; he turned around and suddenly found a tire wheel scraping across his face. Prowl managed to transform and landed on his face before using him as a launchpad and transforming behind him.

"Almost forgot about you," said Lockdown rubbing the scrape marks off his face. "I'm impressed. It's been aeons since anyone's ever gotten the drop on me."

"Next time will be much sooner," Prowl promised before attacking.

He then tossed a pair of shurikens at him, but Lockdown sliced through them with his chainsaw are. He then moved in for close combat swinging his chainsaw, but Prowl managed to jump over him and kicked him across the face. They traded blows, and it looked as if that Prowl was starting to get the upper hand, but then he tripped over some scrap.

Fortunately, he was able to jump out of the way before Lockdown struck them with his chainsaw. He grabbed a metal pipe, used it as a staff, and used it to trip Lockdown, so now that he was on the scrap. He then swung upside down, but he was able to slice through with his chainsaw. Prowl began spinning the two sliced pieces of pipe, but Lockdown quickly struck with an EMP blast.

"I like your style," he said. "I think we can teach each other a few tricks. If I wasn't about to turn ya over to the Decepticons."

"So far, from what I've observed, you put too much stock in those upgrades marks of yours," said a voice behind him.

He slowly turned around and saw Blackarachnia had just landed behind him. "Ah, the techno-organic freak. And here I thought only the Decepticons had one."

Blackarachnia optics lit up. "You're saying you seen another techno-organic?"

"Yeah, in fact, he's another spider, like you. He managed to surprise me with his cyber venom, so don't even think you can get me the same way."

"I've got some other tricks," said Blackarachnia and then blasted him with Bumblebee's stingers.

The force of the attack was so powerful that Lockdown was not on his back. "So, you're able to copy the powers of your team. Nice, but doesn't that make you the same as me?"

"Hardly, I don't rely on my powers that much, unlike you not when I have other natural abilities. Now you can tell me where you're keeping Optimus, or I'll tear it out of you."

"Not a very Autobot like."

"What can I say I'm a bad girl?"

"I'm beginning to like you," Lockdown smirked and then suddenly, he activated Optimus' grapple and used it to grab a large metal pipe.

With one good tug, he forced the metal pipe to land on top of Blackarachnia, knocking her out cold.

"You Autobots are full of surprises; I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Sadly, the good times are over, and I'll be taking your mods."

"Step away from the Autobot!" a voice demanded. Lockdown turned to see Ratchet.

"Wait, I know you. EMP generator, right? I'm not so good with names and faces, but a trophy I never forget. How's the old bucket? Still, dented? Maybe I should pound the other side and even them out."

"You're never taking another trophy from Autobot ever again," said Ratchet.

"Oh? Who's going to stop me?"

"I am."

"You can stop an oil leak, but don't worry, I got all I wanted from you long ago," he said, holding out his EMP generator.

Ratchet then charged at him but was hit by the EMP blast.

"Now that was just sad," Lockdown laughed. He turned back to Prowl.

Just then, a pink magnetic field threw Lockdown into a wall and slammed him down on the ground. Lockdown rubbed his aching head and saw Ratchet standing there with his magnets raised.

"What the?! I shut you down!" Lockdown fired another EMP beam, but Ratchet slapped it away with his magnets then slammed Lockdown into a lamppost.

"Humans call it 'playing possum,'" said Ratchet. "And don't ask me what a possum is." Ratchet used his magnets to lift a car into the air and then slammed it down on top of Lockdown.

"I guess it never occurred to you that an EMP wouldn't work on the bot it was designed for."

Ratchet went over to the warehouse door. "Think, it's a ship. There's an airlock, not a door."

He then grasped hold of the door and pulled off the cloak. He found the airlock controls and used his magnets to hack into it. The airlock then opened for him, and he began making his way into the ship.

He walked down the hallway for what seemed like hours. With each step, he vividly remembered more and more of his past. He finally reached the end of the hallway and arrived in Lockdown's chop shop. Optimus was lying, on the slab, weak.

"Prime!"

"Ratchet?" he gasped.

Ratchet rushed over and deactivated the cables. He then quickly began to examine Optimus' wounds and began to treat them.

"Hold still and don't try to talk; I need to make some adjustments," he said, but sadly before he could finish, the ship rumbled. "Launch sequence's starting. We've gotta move!"

They made their way towards the door, and when it opened, they found Lockdown standing right in front of them. He then fired Optimus' grapple slamming Ratchet into the wall.

"'Playing possum'? Gotta remember that one," Lockdown reminded himself.

Bumblebee finally regained consciousness and could hear something loud.

"Is it just me, or is that a very bad sound?" Bumblebee asked.

He looked up to see the warehouse warping and turning into a large spaceship.

"Yeah, that's bad…"

Ratchet used his magnets, filing a magnetic blast at Lockdown, who ducked in time to avoid it. He then launched the grappler, grabbed hold of a nearby lance, spun around and then threw it at Ratchet, who dodged it but tripped. Lockdown stepped on his chest and kept him down.

"Ya know, I'm starting to appreciate those magnetic powers of yours," Lockdown said with Optimus' axe in his hand. "I just might have to clear a new spot on the trophy case!"

"You like trophies?" Ratchet asked; he used his magnets, lifted up a trophy case and threw it at Lockdown. "Have your fill!"

Lockdown was not backwards, and he quickly grabbed Optimus' axe and then began to approach him.

"Time was I would use my EMP generator to make this aimlessly. Too bad I don't have it anymore." Ratchet then used his magnets to rip away the grapplers.

"EMP!" Lockdown groaned and held out the EMP. "Use it… please."

Ratchet began thinking back to when both he and Arcee were captured by Lockdown.

"You must have some primo that in that processor Intel bot," Lockdown poked Arcee's temple, "Cuz you're getting an interrogation from Megatron himself."

"Bring me the prisoners, bounty hunter," said Megatron as his face appeared on the monitor.

Lockdown smiled and elevated the slabs that the two of them were strapped to so they were now upright. He then made his way over towards the flight controls preparing to take off.

Arcee looked at the EMP generator and kicked it towards Ratchet, who quickly grabbed it.

"Use it on me, full blast," she whispered. "Wipe my memory core."

"What?" Ratchet stared. "Acree, no!"

"Ratchet, the access codes in my processor are crucial to the war effort. If Megatron gets them…"

Lockdown heard them and saw that Ratchet was struggling and holding the EMP generating his hand.

"What the—?"

Lockdown ran over and tried to wrestle the generator away from Ratchet, triggering the beam. The beam ran through some of the equipment, shutting it off.

"You're overloading the EMP!" Ratchet yelled.

It took some effort, but Ratchet was able to free himself and Acree. He quickly grabbed Arcee, leaving his EMP generator behind, and edited the ship.

Once they were safely away from the ship, Ratchet looked at Arcee, who hadn't said a word since their escape.

"You-you all right, Arcee?" Ratchet asked.

"Who's Arcee?" she asked. Ratchet felt like his spark had been ripped out. "Who are you? Where are we? What's going on? Do I know you?"

Back in the present, Ratchet made his way over to Lockdown.

"You want me to use that EMP to make your pain go away?"

As Ratchet got closer, Lockdown grasped hold of the whip and just as Ratchet reached for the EMP, he swung it. Sadly for him, Ratchet had anticipated this and dodged the web and then unleashed a magnetic field around him, causing him to cry out in pain.

Ratchet then ripped the EMP from his arm. "This was a medical tool meant to heal! You turn it into a weapon!"

He then attached his EMP and fired a shot at the ship. The entire ship then began to lose power and began to lose altitude.

"I'm not going to kill you," Ratchet breathed, "But I'm not going to save you either." He fired a pulse at the controls. The floor could be felt tipping.

"This one's for Arcee…" Ratchet whispered as he grabbed Optimus.

The two of them quickly made their way down the corridor and lept out of the airlock, just before the ship crashed into the river.

The ground was coming up fast. Too fast. Ratchet and Optimus leapt out of the airlock, leaving the ship to dive into the river.

"Hang on, Prime! This'll hurt a little!" Ratchet told Optimus, using his magnets to slow the descent.

They hit the ground and rolled as across the road to finally come to a stop.

Once they were back at the plant, Ratchet began to reattach Optimus' grapples.

"How you healing?" Ratchet asked.

Optimus tested his grapplers, which were working just as good as before. "Arm is good as new. Thanks to you."

"That wasn't what I meant."

Optimus sighed. "Let's just say you have a much better appreciation for what you went through back in the day and why you don't want to remember it."

"It's not that I don't want to remember," said Ratchet rubbing his old war wound. "I have to remember, for those who can't. But Blackarachnia was right; I just keep running from my past. It only took you getting kidnapped for me to realise that."

"Still, I suppose it doesn't hurt to talk about it sometimes. With a trusted friend?"

"So what do you wanna know?"
