Sari was in the pumpkin patch as Bulkhead helped her go through the pumpkins for the perfect one for something known as Halloween.
"Too round," Sari shook her head, turning her gaze to the next pumpkin. "Too orange." She then moved on to the next punk. "Too normal." Her eyes then fell upon the perfect one. "Ah, yeah! That's the one!"
"Let me give you a hand with that," said Bulkhead grasping the pumpkin with his claw.
He then held it out to Sari, but he squeezed it too much, and it burst.
"Oops, my bad," he apologised.
"So, the purpose of this Halloween is to disguise yourself in order to frighten strangers and extort sugar and those nuggets?" Optimus frowned.
"You say like it's a bad thing," said Sari. "The most important part about Halloween is picking just the right costume. It has to make a statement, and it must get people's attention. I mean, I've had a number of girls are going to dress up as Blackarachnia."
Blackarachnia folded her arms. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You should be flattered."
"Flattered that everyone thinks I'm scary," she said coldly. "Just tell me you're not dressing up as me."
"You'll see."
They then noticed that Optimus had turned his attention to a large, purple stuffed spider hanging from a tree. Blackarachnia closed her optics, knowing what was going through his mind, and she began having the same thought.
It was back when Sentinel decided that they should pay a visit to an off-limits planet in the hopes to find Energon.
They were currently looking at the amazing crystalline spider webs which crossed the entire canyon from cliff to cliff.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" said Elita-1.
"Yeah…" Optimus agreed. "Any idea what they are?"
"I have no idea."
"Optimus! Elita-1! Get your fan belts in gear," Sentinel yelled as he transformed into robot mode.
" Sentinel, ever stopped to consider that there is a reason organic planet to limits to Autobots?" said Optimus.
"Aww, you're not getting cold landing pad. Are you Optimus, old buddy?" Sentinel smiled, placing his arms around their shoulders.
"Aren't you the least bit curious to see a real-life Decepticon ship?" Elita asked. "Think of the history!""
"A history, think of the Energon!" said Sentinel. "Those bots ordered the stuff. We find that ship, and we are set for the rest of our lives."
He then placed his arm around Elita, guiding her away from Optimus.
"Which we can spend all end up spending in the Cybertronian Stockades if we get caught," Optimus objected. "Not we could get Dion in trouble if they discover that he is covering for us back home."
"All right, fine, we get it if you're too scared," said Sentinel.
"Someone's got to keep you two walking malfunctions from getting in over your heads," Optimus sighed, following them.
"We never get in over our heads!" Sentinel defended.
Just then, the ground cracked. The ground broke apart and caved in, sending the three plummeting. They landed with a loud thud inside a cave. Optimus looked up. The hole was too far up to get out that way. Optimus turned his gaze to Sentinel.
"What?"Optimus shook his head and got up, then turned around.
Optimus turns attention to the cavern they had fallen into; the hole was too high for them to climb back up the passageway was quite dark. Then they heard a strange noise coming down the passageway.
"You hear that?" Elita asked, looking around for the source of the sound.
"Looks like it came from down that tunnel," said Optimus and activated his light to illuminate it.
"Boo!" Optimus jumped at the sound of Bulkhead's voice.
It only took a few moments to realise that it was Bulkhead wearing a bedsheet over his head.
"What's got you so jumpy, Boss Bot?" Bumblebee asked.
"Just a ghost," said Optimus and looked at Blackarachnia before walking off. "From my past…"
Blackarachnia closer optics and then left without saying a word, and the others just merely shrugged.
"Nice scared big guy," said Sari giving him a high five on his claw. "But you're going to need a bigger bed sheet."
It was now late at night, and Bumblebee and Bulkhead were getting their costumes ready. Blackarachnia, however, approached Optimus, who appeared to be still spacing out.
"It's been 1,000 stellar cycles since our trip," she said and looked at her hands. "Since my accident."
"Blackarachnia, I—" Optimus began.
"Velcome. I am Count Dracubot. I vant to drink your motor oil," Bumblebee said in a cheesy Slavic accent which matched his cheesy Dracula outfit.
"Hey, guys!" said Bulkhead, covered in an orange and purple sheet. "I finally found something big enough for my ghost costume."
Sari frowned when she noticed that mist was appearing from beneath the sheet along with a terrible smell. "Bulkhead, where did you get that sheet?"
"It was just draped over some house. Weird place for a bed sheet, huh?"
Sari groaned. "Aww, that's not a bed sheet that a fumigation tent."
"Really? What's a fumigation tent?"
Sari could see a number of insects falling from the ground beneath his feet.
"Oh, where is your costume, Sari?" Bumblebee asked.
"Ah, ah, It's a surprise," said Sari and turned her attention to Optimus and Blackarachnia, who were both just staring into space. "In fact, I've got a lot of surprises in store."
Sari then quickly dashed over towards the control console and inserted her key in the slot. She turned in one of the mechanical arms swung into Optimus' face with a fake spider hanging from it. The moment it appeared in front of his face, he jumped, and an image of a giant spider pouncing on him appeared.
"No, Elita!" Optimus yelled and, in a panic, drew out his axe slashed the spider into pieces. Everyone was quite shocked by this sudden display.
"Whoa, take it easy big guy, it's just a little Halloween fun," said Sari.
Blackarachnia quickly grabbed Optimus' hand. "Optimus, it's fine. We're safe."
"What?" said Optimus calming down.
"Sari was just playing a little prank," Blackarachnia explained.
Optimus looked at Sari and saw the key in the control console. "Somehow, when the AllSpark powered your key, it had something more in mind than 'Halloween fun'. You really shouldn't use it when it's absolutely necessary."
"Hellooo, how necessary is it to use an axe on a fake spider?" Sari asked, pulled out the key and walked defiantly away. Optimus stared at the spider's remains.
Optimus was now leading Sentinel and Elita down the passageway. She had wanted to turn back the moment they fell in, but Sentinel insisted on pushing forward.
"I've got a good feeling about this," said Sentinel. "Any cycle now, we'll be overflowing with rich AllSpark Energon-y goodness!"
"Did you really just say 'Energon-y goodness'?" Elita raised a brow.
"Shh," Optimus raised a finger to his lips. "I think I hear something." The sounds of clicks could be heard going around them, but he could hear movement this time.
"Over here?" Elita gasped.
"Where is it coming from?" said Optimus because it sounded as if it was from all around them.
"That way!" Sentinel pointed.
Optimus heard something behind him, and then he came face-to-face with a giant spider.
"Look out!" Optimus yelled, ducking just before the spider launched some webbing.
The webbing struck Elita, wrapping around her waist, and hit was so much force that she had into the cavern wall. Optimus then saw the spider behind him and quickly fired foam into its face, blinding all eight of its eyes.
Sentinel then quickly moved in, activating his shield; he dashed over towards Elita, freeing her.
"I take it back; this stuff isn't too beautiful after all," she said, tossing a chunk of webbing aside. "Behind you!"
Sentinel turned and came face to face with the spider. The spider plunged its fangs into his chest, and he went down before he had a chance to react. The spider then began to advance towards Elita, who then activated her download ability. Optimus yanked the spider's legs out from under it using his grapplers, pulling it away from her.
"Forget it, Elita!" Optimus yelled. "Your power won't work on an organic!"
Elita then turned towards Sentinel; she rushed over towards him and downloaded his abilities. She then immediately grabbed his shield and activated it, shielding herself from the spider webbing.
"Who said anything about my power?" she said and tossed the shield at the stalactites.
The rock fell down and stabbed the arachnoid through the head. The shield then flew back towards her just as Sentinel regained consciousness.
"I think we've just officially outclassed, Sentinel," said Optimus catching his breath.
"I'm beginning to see why this place is off-limits," said Elita, handing said his shield back.
"No amount of history or Energon is worth this. Let's go," said Optimus.
"Come on, guys," said Sentinel. "We've come this far. Give me one good reason why we should leave?"
Just as he finished, three giant spiders landed directly behind Optimus.
Optimus looked at them and back at Sentinel. "How about three?"
The spiders then jumped at them, but Sentinel quickly activated his shield, extending it throughout the cavern and holding them back.
"Go, I'll cover your retreat!" Sentinel yelled.
Both Optimus quickly transformed and drove down the right fork in the tunnel. Elita looked back at Sentinel before transforming herself, but Optimus had already driven down the right folk and said she didn't know which way he went she went left.
"Optimus!" Sari yelled, pulling him out of his thoughts. "Check out my costume."
Optimus looked down and saw that she was dressed up like him. She was wearing a small cardboard box over her chest, which he had painted to look like his chest. She was wearing a blue helmet, gloves and boots; it was actually a pretty good costume.
"Oh, look at me," Sari imitated Optimus's voice, "I'm Optimus Prime. And I'm scared of spiders!"
The other Autobots snickered.
"I do not sound that way," Optimus crossed his arms defiantly. "Do I?"
Sari just merely smiled.
"Last chance for you to join us," Bumblebee smiled.
"Thanks, I'll pass," Optimus returned the smile.
"And as fun, as it sounds like, I don't see the point in taking part," said Blackarachnia. "It's not like we can eat anything they give us."
"We're only taking part because it sounds like fun," said Bumblebee. "I'm telling you that you're missing out on a great time."
"Just be careful out there," said Optimus.
"Don't worry, I'll keep these two out of trouble," Sari assured him and began to impersonate Optimus again. "Transform and roll out!"
Optimus leaned down towards her, glaring, telling her not to push it.
"Couldn't resist," she giggled.
They began making their way through the street, seeing a number of children dressed up as monsters. Some of them had taken a leaf out of Sari's book and came as Autobots.
"I-I don't know," said Bumblebee nervously as he was clinging onto Bulkhead. "It's kinda…spooky."
"I know, isn't it great?" Sari smiled. "Just remember it's all pretend."
The three then continued their walk, unaware that a giant spider was looking down upon them.
They made their way to their first house, and Sari pressed down on the doorbell.
"Now remember," said Sari looking back at them. "When the person opens the door, you say 'Trick or treat.'"
The Bumblebee and Bulkhead nodded. Suddenly Bumblebee's eyes were drawn to a giant spider that was standing upon the roof of the house. Its eight eyes were glowing bright red, and its fangs clicked.
"Bulkhead," Bumblebee panicked, climbing on top of Bulkhead. "Bulkhead… Bulkhead!" In his progress to get Bulkhead's attention, he knocked the eyeholes down on Bulkhead's costume.
"What?" Bulkhead groaned.
"Big! Purple! Fangs! Red eyes! Legs! Lots of lots of legs!" Bumblebee sputtered. Bulkhead pulled his eyeholes back into place, but the giant spider had disappeared.
"I don't see anything."
"Trick or treat!" Sari grinned when the door opened. The woman's eyes looked at Bumblebee, who was still pointing and babbling about something on the roof. "Hey, you guys forgot to say… What are you pointing at?."
"It was all…" said Bumblebee calling around Bulkhead. "There were legs… it was purple."
Sari shook her head and turned her attention back to the woman, holding out her back. "First time trick-or-treating."
They then began making their way to the next house, but Bumblebee was still going on about the giant spider.
"I'm telling you guys I say something!" Bumblebee begged the others to believe him as they continued their candy-filled hunt, "We're being followed!"
"What a steady bot," Sari laughed. "You're worse than Optimus."
"Am not!" said Bumblebee.
Sari then scrunched up her face. "Boo!"
Bumblebee jumped back and crawled all the way behind Bulkhead. "Besides, I know the difference between a fake Halloween decoration and a real giant spider."
"Wait, say again, Bumblebee," Optimus said over the comlink. "What did you see?"
"A giant spider. It looked somewhat similar to Blackarachnia organic mode," said Bumblebee. He then realised something. "Hey… have you been listening in on our comlink this whole time?"
"Stay where you are! Blackarachnia and I will be right there."
Optimus had just escaped the giant spiders, but he had lost Elita and Sentinel in the process.
"Elita! Sentinel!" Optimus yelled as he transformed into robot mode. His eyes then fell upon a Decepticon warship in front of him. "A Decepticon warship."
He then made his way into the ship.
"Sentinel? Elita?" said Optimus loudly. He then saw a purple glow coming from the storage bay. He walked in to see huge piles of Energon cubes.
"Energon cubes… huh, what you know Sentinel was right," he said and then saw something sitting next to the cubes. "Odd, I've never seen oval-shaped Energon." Just then, several baby arachnoids emerged from the ovular objects.
"Why do I get the feeling that's not Energon?" Optimus pulled out his axe and turned around. Right into a net of webbing. In his struggle to get free, he dropped his axe. Before the babies could crawl over to him, Elita picked up the axe and sliced up the spiderlings.
"I thought I might find you here," she smiled.
Before they could have a moment's peace, the spiderlings' parents crawled down the wall. Elita quickly cut the webbing that had ensnared Optimus and then handed him back his axe. One of the spiders suddenly came at them, and Optimus fended off with his axe.
We'll have to fight our way out,"" said Optimus as they fell back. ""Use your power!""
""It's useless on organics, remember?" she reminded him.
"Not on them on me!" said Optimus.
"Let's make this fast," said Elita downloading his abilities. "My download won't last long."
The two of them then fired their grapples at the ceiling and then pulled themselves towards a huge stack of Energon cubes. One of the arachnoids leapt at them. Optimus kicked it back, and the spider landed on a stack of Energon cubes causing it to explode.
Optimus got an idea, grabbed one of the cubes, and tossed it towards the ceiling. Then both he and Elita fire their grapples and pull themselves up just as the energy onto you dislodged a stalactite and then exploded.
The stalactite flew right past them and pressed down on top of the stack of Energon, causing a chain reaction of explosions.
"Nice work Optimus," said Elita looking down, impressed. "Now let's get out of here before the rest of those Energon cubes—"
Then her download failed, and she began plummeting towards the ground. Optimus quickly fired a grappling, hoping to have a wrap-around her arm, but it failed.
"Elita!" Optimus cried.
Suddenly there was a huge explosion just as Optimus landed on the ground. He turned and saw that Sentinel had just arrived, and he quickly looked down into the ship.
"Elita!" he yelled.
Optimus quickly grabbed him. "Sentinel, we have to get out now!"
"We need to go after her!"
Optimus looked back at Elita, who was busy fending off the giant spiders. Even if they could scale down to assist her, they would be caught in the explosion.
"No, no time! The ship is going to blow!" he yelled and fired his grapple.
He grabbed Sentinel's hand, and they swung across the chasm just as the ship exploded. Optimus used his axe to create an opening within the cave roof and pulled them out. The explosion was massive, presently taking down the entire canyon with it.
"We have to go back for Elita!" said Sentinel.
Optimus activated his scanners, but he couldn't locate Elita's energy signature. "I'm not picking up her energy signature. She-she's off-line."
Furious, he then punched him in the face and pinned him to the ground. "This is all your FAULT! I HATE YOU!"
Thankfully, Optimus had the sense to search for the wreckage hoping to find Elita's shell, but of course, she had already turned into Blackarachnia.
"You really think that one of those spiders is on Earth," said Blackarachnia dubiously.
"You mentioned that Lockdown said that there was a techno-organic like you among the ranks of the Decepticons," Optimus reminded her.
"Still, don't you think it's a long shot? I know full well that you're still guilty about what happened to me, not entirely undeserved, and you've been reminiscing on those tragic events all night. But don't you think you got spiders on the processor?"
"Maybe, but I don't want to take that chance," said Optimus. "This is no way I will let it happen again."
Bumblebee was still looking around as if the giant spider would swoop down on top of them.
"Trust me, Bumblebee, Blackarachnia is the only giant spider on the planet," Sari assured him.
"And just like her, it might be from another planet," said Bumblebee.
"Huge alien life forms… coming to earth? You've got to be kidding," said Bulkhead. It then dawned on him that he was actually talking about themselves. "Oh, right… us."
Then suddenly, some webbing wrapped itself around Sari, without them noticing.
"All I'm saying is that we should put our standard on high alert, keep a sharp lookout," said Bumblebee. "Don't let anything slip past us."
They then heard Sari's screams and saw a giant spider on the roof of the houses that had ensnared her with some webbing.
"Sari!" Bumblebee and Bulkhead yelled as they tore off their outfits.
"Keep away from the girl," it hissed.
"That's just what I was gonna say!" said Bumblebee shot a stinger bolt at the webbing and caught Sari.
The spider then jumped off the building and onto the road, but before I could get away, Bulkhead blocked its path with his wrecking ball. Bumblebee then skidded behind the spider with his stingers locked and loaded.
"Don't move; I want to make sure the big guy and the spider lady see you this time," said Bumblebee.
The giant spider resembled that of a tarantula which then transformed into a rather muscular mech.
"Easy their kid, you might also want to opt it out with that happy trigger finger of yours," he said.
"Y-your just like Blackarachnia," Bumblebee stared.
"Are you two related somehow?" Bulkhead asked.
"Can you bots even have siblings?" Sari frowned.
"Not in the way your thinking, but in a sense, we are the same," said the mech. "And I do know of Blackarachnia, and you could say that we are cut from the same cloth as the humans like to say. The name is Tarantulas."
He then calmly and slowly approached Bulkhead, but suddenly, just like Blackarachnia, he embedded his stingers into him. In the short span of a few seconds, he collapsed to the ground and fell unconscious.
"Hey!" Bumblebee yelled at him, swinging a stinger filled with electricity.
However, he easily sidestepped out of the way and managed to get behind him. Then just like with Bulkhead struck him with his stingers, and he fell just as he did.
"What did you do to them?!" Sari yelled. She jumped onto the still Bulkhead.
She then inserted her key into the slot within his chest, but when she twisted it, nothing happened.
Tarantulas then leaned towards her. "That's not going to do any good."
"I'll be the judge of that," said Sari.
"You're just as stubborn as my sister," said Tarantulas.
"Come on, why won't you work?" said Sari frustratingly as she continued twisting her key, but nothing happened.
"My venom derived from organic sources, so the AllSpark won't have any effect on it." He then looked at her costume. "Nice costume, by the way."
"Wait, back up, how do you know about the AllSpark?" Sari asked.
"I guess you could say that I'm a bit of an expert in that matter. I could show you a thing or two with the key. Why not let me you try and revive them?" Sari was just about to hand her the key when Optimus yanked her away with his grapplers by the foot.
"Sari! Getaway now!" he shouted.
"Don't give him the key!" said Blackarachnia.
Tarantulas look to the two of them. "Optimus and Elita-1? So, the rumours are true."
His hand then suddenly transformed into a stinger resembling Bumblebee's and then zapped the cable with a bolt of electricity.
"Hey! That's Bumblebee's!" Sari protested.
"He's able to mimic powers like I can," said Blackarachnia.
She then quickly jumped at him, but he blasted her with a powerful bolt of electricity, sending her crashing into one of the houses.
"Except unable to enhance the trait I borrow," said Tarantulas. Optimus was just about to fire off his foam cannon when he crashed in within her palm. "As much as you would love to give me a baseball of foam…"
Then suddenly, he grabbed his throat and then pinned him to the house with unbelievable strength. "And yes, little Miss pain the obvious, eyeball the big guy strength too."
Tarantulas then turned his eyes on Optimus. "Now, what should I do with you?"
"How about nothing," said a voice.
Then suddenly, a fist collided with his face, and he was sent flying across the street. He looked up and saw Blackarachnia, who had most likely just absorbed Bulkhead's strength herself.
"Change of plans," said Tarantulas and fired some webbing wrapping around Sari. "You and I still have things to discuss."
He then fired another line of webbing and used it to swing across the houses.
"You all right?" Blackarachnia asked, helping Optimus to his feet.
"I'm fine, but he's got Sari," said Optimus.
Immediately the two of them began chasing him down as he continued swinging across the buildings.
"Sari!" Optimus yelled.
"We're coming!" Blackarachnia yelled.
"Ohh, you're in trouble now!" Sari sneered. "My friends Optimus Prime and Blackarachnia are going to chop you into itsy bitsy spider bits!" Before she could continue, Blackarachnia webbed her mouth shut. She then jumped onto a wall and crawled up the building.
"Do you ever stop talking?!" Tarantulas demanded.
He ran over the ledge and stopped at the centre of the ceiling. When he turned around, Optimus shot from right in his face, then pulled Sari away with his grapplers. Blackarachnia tackled him, and soon, the two of them were in a wrestling match.
Optimus pulled off the webbing. "You okay?" he asked her.
Sari gave him a thumbs up. "Optimus look out!" she cried out.
Blackarachnia then slammed into him, knocking the two of them on the ground. Tarantulas had just tossed her right into him and then advanced towards them. Optimus quickly got up and tried to punch, but he blocked with his forearm. Blackarachnia then attempted to strike him with a spinning kick, but he easily leaned back and dodged it. Optimus then pulled out his axe and began swinging it at him, but he dodged the swings easily.
"Ha! I know all your moves! Pure textbook Autobot Academy," he caught his axe on one of his swings.
"Do I know you?"
"I know that you don't keep your promises after abandoning my sister!" he snarled.
Optimus eyes widened. "Dion?"
"It's Tarantulas now," he said, releasing Optimus.
"How is this even possible?" Blackarachnia stared.
"You mean why I look like this, believe it or not, it was for your well-being," said Tarantulas. "After Optimus took you away, I dedicated myself to finding a cure by any means. However, with you gone, there was no way I could test any theories, so there was only one thing to do."
"You infected yourself," said Optimus stunned.
"That's right, I went to the same planet that the three of you gallivanted off to and went through the same process as Elita. Of course, I knew afterwards I would not be welcomed back to the Autobots, so I struck out on my own."
"And joined the Decepticons?" said Optimus looking at the Decepticon insignia on his neck.
"I knew where I stood with them," he said. "It also gave me a lot more freedom when it came to experimentation."
"Dion, I never asked you to do this," said Blackarachnia.
"Because I never planned to ask you," he said, narrowing his eyes. "You had every opportunity to rob yourself of this disease. The key was within your grasp, and instead of taking it, you allowed it to remain in the hands of a child."
"That child was chosen by the AllSpark."
"Well, if you're not going to do what needs to be done, I will," he said and then promptly punched in the chest, knocking her out cold.
"Blackarachnia!" Optimus yelled, but before he could do anything, Tarantulas fired a stream of webbing, trapping him in place. He then immediately ran over to Sari and yanked off her AllSpark key.
"Hey! Give that back!" Sari protested.
"No way, kid! If anything can fix my sister, it's this!" Tarantulas then bent over Blackarachnia and inserted the key in her slot.
The moment he inserted the key, a massive energy pulse erupted out of Blackarachnia and spread out throughout the entire city. It then appeared to drain the life out of everything organic, including human, as Sari's red hair turned white and wrinkles began to form around her face.
"But you said the AllSpark wouldn't affect organics," said Sari.
"Guess I must have lied; imagine that," Tarantulas sneered.
Optimus was able to break free of the webbing. "Dion, wait…"
Tarantulas then grabbed Sari. "I've already waited for one thousand stellar cycles!"
He then tossed Sari of the building.
"Sari!" Optimus yelled, half looking over the ledge.
He looked down and saw that she was barely hanging off a flagpole. Fortunately, arriving in the nick of time was Bumblebee and Bulkhead.
"We've got, Sari, get that spider guy!" said Bumblebee as they quickly transformed into robot mode. He then quickly jumped into Bulkhead's claw. "A little help for the virtually challenged?"
"Coming right up and going right up!" Bulkhead yelled, tossing him into the air with all his strength.
Sari then lost her grave and began falling towards the ground. Bumblebee grabbed her and quickly transformed into robot mode.
"Hang on, Sari, it's going to be a bumpy landing," said Bumblebee.
He then hit the ground hard, so hard that all four of his tyres burst, and the airbag in his cab went off.
With Sari now safe, Optimus turned back to Tarantulas. However, the energy pulses coming from Blackarachnia intensified, and she was crying out in pain.
"What's happening?" Tarantulas yelled as he was pushed back.
"Don't you think we already tested to see the key would cure Blackarachnia!"=" Optimus yelled as he stood his ground against the energy pulses. "The reason why we didn't do it was because her spark could not survive without her organic half! We need to pull the key out! Now!""
"I can't get to it!" Tarantulas yelled.
Optimus pushed forward and managed to approach Blackarachnia, fighting against the energy barrier surrounding her. He reached out and grabbed the key, pulling it out with all his might. The moment he did, the energy pulses stopped, and life began to return to everything organic.
Blackarachnia looked up at Optimus. "Optimus?"
"I'm here; you're safe," he said, helping her up.
"And Dion?" she asked.
They looked around and saw that Tarantulas was gone.
"Gone," said Optimus and then promptly looked away from Blackarachnia. "This is all my fault. I should never have abandoned you. None of this would have happened to you and Dion."
Blackarachnia then approached alongside him, forcing him to look at her. "Optimus, you were the one that tried to persuade Sentinel and me to leave that planet."
"But I made the call to abandon you."
"As much as it pains me to say it, it was the right call." Optimus stared at her, perplexed. "I mean it, there's a good chance that both you and Sentinel would have been caught in the explosion, and I would still end up like this. You made a tough call, and it was the right one. You should never take full responsibility for our little trip."
"After leaving behind, I didn't believe that I deserve leading anyone ever again."
"And yet you seem to be doing now and very well. Come on, we better rejoin the others."
"I believe the expression is 'trick or treat,'" Optimus smiled and handed Sari the AllSpark key.
"Duh, that's what I'm supposed to say. You just say 'Happy Halloween' and fork over the goods. Then I say thank you, and you were right about my key, and maybe I should probably give it a rest."
"Think I can persuade you to use it one last time?" Bumblebee groaned as he rolled up to them with four flat tires.
"So who was that bug bot?" Bulkhead asked.
"Someone I failed," said Optimus closing his eyes.
