TW: disgusting and bloody scenes in this chapter

Harry slowly regained consciousness. When he was able to see blurred figures in front of him, he realized he lost his glasses.

What was that? Who was that? Where was he?

"Where are my glasses?" Harry asked.

"The first thing you say after coming conscious again is 'Where are my glasses?'" Draco asked.

"Madam Pomfrey! He's awake!" He heard Theodore yell.

"Here," Greg said.

Someone put his glasses in his lap. He assumed it was Greg. Harry put them on. Standing in front of him were the other nine Slytherins and the Patil twins.

Padma hugged him tightly, "You're alright!"

"Let the poor boy go," Astoria said.

Pansy was suppressing a laugh.

"Move! Move! Visitors get out!" An old witch yelled at the group of eleven.

"How long was I out for?" Harry asked.

"A few hours," She said.

She put on a pair of goggles, they had a blue tint. She looked at him all over.

"No injuries," She said, "however, the quill in your pocket broke."

"Cool, well not the broken pen but I'm fine, so that's cool. Can I go now?" Harry asked.

"Heavens no. You will stay the night, and eat supper."

"What?" Harry asked. How did she know that Harry didn't eat?

"These goggles show me quite a lot, dear," She said.

Harry's hands flew to his crotch and covered it.

"I will go get your supper," she said.

After eating the chicken, rice, and steamed vegetables, Harry put his empty plate on his nightstand.

Harry also put his glasses on the nightstand. Harry yawned and fell asleep.

Harry was back in the room with the fire, pedestal, and the mysterious red stone. Harry sat down and watched the flames dance. It was peaceful.

This time Harry didn't try to break the floor or touch the stone. He just sat there and watched. The fire was beautiful.

"You're awake, good," The witch said to him, "Collect your things and head to the great hall, breakfast is starting momentarily."

Harry grabbed his glasses. That was the only thing he had that he wasn't already wearing.

Harry looked out the window. He saw the most amazing sunrise. The pink and orange and blue danced in the sky. The bright sun rose over the horizon. The bright colors of the sky reflected over the lake.

"Run along," she said.

"Thank you!" Harry said as he ran to breakfast.

"Oh good, you're alive," Draco said, smiling at the sight of him.

"Haven't noticed," Harry said, serving himself bacon.

"Yeah, whatever," Draco said.

"Hey, Harry?" Zabini Blaise asked.

"Yeah?" Harry said, swallowing a bite of orange.

"What happened?" Zabini asked.

"Oh you know, went mentally insane and hallucinated that a woman magically teleported into our dorm all while trying to figure out who the fuck I am," Harry wanted to say, but instead he said; "Hit my head."

Zabini looked into his eyes, trying to see if Harry was lying. He must've guessed wrong because he went back to eating his eggs.

The days blurred together, the stone kept appearing in his dream. Before he knew it the weekend arrived, and Harry had one detention and two essays.

The six Slytherin boys were sitting in their dorm, doing their essays, or reading, or just staring at the ceiling doing absolutely nothing. Harry glanced at the clock. It was 9:57 am, his detention was scheduled for 10 am.

"I'm about to be late for my detention with Professor Snape, I have to go," Harry said to the other five boys.

"Bye," Draco said.

xXxXxXx

Harry got the delight of spending the day sorting rotten versus not rotten squirrel eyes. Professor Snape looked happy. This was disgusting. Why couldn't it be like detention at his old school? They would sit in a room silently while doing specific work like solving one hundred math equations.

When Snape dismissed him, lunch was about to end. Harry wasn't hungry. He went to take a shower in the boys' lavatory. To add to how shitty the day was, he got shampoo in his eyes.

When he finally got back to the first year Slytherin dorm, he flopped onto his bed.

"How was it?" Draco asked.

"Disgusting," Harry said.

"What did Snape make you do?" Vincent asked.

"Sorting squirrel eyes," Harry said, causing everyone to gag.

"I think I'm gonna be sick," Greg said.

Harry laughed it off as he continued his essay from earlier.

"While you guys vomit all over your essays, I am going to the library," Zabini said.

"I'll go too," Theodore said quickly. He stood up as he said it. His long parchment fell out of his lap, "Oh no," He picked it up and folded it neatly.

Zabini and Theodore walked out of the dorm, leaving Vincent, Greg, Draco, and Harry. They all silently worked on their essays. It was peaceful.

Before Harry knew it, it was time to go to the great hall for dinner. Zabini and Theodore still weren't back.

"You are coming this time," Draco placed his index finger on Harry's chest, "We don't need another incident."

Harry placed his finished essays down on his bed, "I was already planning on going."

"Good," Draco said, "We better go, Crabbe and Goyle already left."

The pair left the dormitory, leaving it without occupancy.

While walking to the great hall, Harry spotted Padma and Parvati sitting on a windowsill and talking to each other.

"Hi, Padma, Hi Parvati," Harry said to the twins as he and Draco passed them.

"Hi, Harry," Parvati said.

"Hi, Slytherin boy," Padma said, fidgeting with her blue and bronze scarf.

"Will you ever call me by my real name?" Harry asked.

"No," Padma said.

"C'mon, Harry," Draco said, "Piece of advice, stay away from those Gryffindorks."

"The Patil twins are nice," Harry said.

"No, Harry, they're all the same, Wealsey, Longbottom, Patil, all of them. All of them are either a blood traitor or Mudblood."

Harry glanced over his shoulder at the Patil twins, they were laughing about something.

"What's a mudblood? What's a blood traitor?" Harry asked.

"A mudblood is what you call someone who's parentage is muggle," Draco said.

"So a muggleborn?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, it's an offensive term. A blood traitor is someone who belives we, pure bloods and half bloods, are equal to them," Draco said.

"Wait," Harry said extending an arm in front of Draco to stop him, "You are against muggleborns?"

"Of course I am against those filthy little mudbloods!"

"Weasley was right!"

"Are you defending Weasley?"

"At least Weasley isn't a racist brat!"

"Filthy blood traitor! Oppugno!"

Harry dodged the spell. He didn't know any useful spells but he knew something else useful.

WHAM

He punched Draco in the face. Draco cast another curse, Harry dodged again. Harry tried to punch Draco again but the racist little brat dodged. Harry jumped at him, trying to grab Draco's wand. Harry missed as Draco whipped around.

Draco cast another curse at Harry. The jet of red light hit him. Harry couldn't move.

"Harry!" The Patil twins were running at him.

Parvati cast a spell at Draco as Padma freed Harry.

"Revenerate! Are you ok?" Padma said.

"I will be once I beat the shit out of Malfoy."

Parvati and Draco were throwing spells at each other. They were reusing the same few spells, well, they were only first years.

Parvati and Draco were locked in a duel. Harry sneaked behind Draco, he signaled Parvati to stop. She stopped.

Harry tackled Draco and stole his wand.

"Parvati!" Padma yelled.

Parvati was on the floor. There was something red on the floor next to her arm. Draco was unconscious from hitting his head on the floor when Harry tackled him.

Padma and Harry ran over to Parvati. Harry carefully removed her robes to reveal a large gash on her elbow.

Padma gasped.

"We have to take her to Madam Pomfrey!" Padma said.

Harry picked her up. Parvati was leaning against Harry.

"You alright?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, that was some dark magic. Wonder where he learned it," Parvati was trying to act strong but her voice was quaking and tears were falling from her eyes.

xXxXxXx

"Madam Pomfrey! Madam Pomfrey!" Padma yelled.

The infirmary was empty.

"She's at the feast, we have to wait," Harry said as gently laid Parvati down on one of the beds.

"We can't wait! She needs help now!"

"Hang on, I can bandage it until she gets back. I did it before when my cousin pushed me down the stairs and I fell on concrete. I bandaged it with one hand."

Harry grabbed some bandages from Madam Pomfrey's desk. He bandaged Parvati up, "How does that feel?"

"Good," Parvati said, her face losing color.

"You'll lose less blood this way, lemme see if there is anything like iron pills or ibuprofen," Harry said.

"What?" Padma said.

"Muggle medications, one for blood replenishing, one for pain," Harry said, tracing his fingers along the shelves, "I can't find anything, sorry."

Harry and Padma sat on the bed next to Parvati's.

"So, Slytherin boy," Padma said, turning to Harry, "What happened?"

"I finally uncovered the most obvious fact about Malfoy," Harry said, "He is a racist, selfish, brat."

Parvati laughed.

"Any chance Dumbledore let's you get resorted?" Harry asked, fidgeting with his green and black tie.

"Nope, maybe for you though," Parvati said, "Being the boy who lived and all that."

"Really?" Harry said with hope filling him, "No offense but I don't wanna be Gryffindor. Weasley, Thomas and Finnigan already hate me. I'd wanna be Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw."

"Understood, and no offense taken," Parvati said.

"In here quickly, this is the second one this week!" Madam Pomfrey yelled opening the door.

"Madam Pomfrey! Parvati needs help!" Padma yelled.

Vincent and Greg were carrying Draco's unconscious, limp, body.

"I need to help Mr Malfoy first!" Madam Pomfrey said, "My bandages are gone!"

"They're right here," Harry handed her the bandages.

"Thank you," Madam Pomfrey said, she put them on her desk. She ran over to Draco, "Back off!"

Vincent and Greg back off as Madam Pomfrey put her blue goggles on to inspect him.

"Harry… Padma…" Parvati said weakly, her face lost a lot of color, "I don't feel good."

Madam Pomfrey was still inspecting Draco.

"It- it'll be ok," Padma let a few tears leak.

The bandage was blood red. The sheets got blood on them. Too much blood was coming out.

"He's unconscious, he'll come around in a few hours to a few days, similar to Mr Potter's incident," Madam Pomfrey said, "Let's see here."

Madam Pomfrey removed the bandage and put her goggles back on. She gasped.

"Dark, dark magic did this. Who cast this curse?" Madam Pomfrey asked.

"Draco Malfoy," Harry said.

"Was there a duel?" Madam Pomfrey asked as she scanned her shelves of medications and potions.

"It was between me and Malfoy, it wasn't Parvati's fault. I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for her and Padma."

"Detention to you and Mr Malfoy when he wakes up," Madam Pomfrey said, "Drink this, it will hurt but it will save your life."

Parvati sat up and grabbed the small cup. She drank it like a shot.

Parvati screamed and dropped the empty cup. Padma grabbed Harry and looked away from her sister who was still screaming. Harry hugged Padma back. The cup was shattered on the floor, blood was everywhere. Padma's tears hit Harry.

This was a mess. Harry closed his eyes tight. Why did Parvati have to take the blow? If only he tackled Malfoy a second earlier. This was his fault. This was all his fault. Parvati's screams and Padma's tears filled his heart and mind.

This was pure guilt. Harry was so angry at himself that words didn't describe it.

xXxXxXx

"Madam Pomfrey said I have to stay the night," Parvati said.

"Rest. I'll tell Lavender what happened, she can tell Hermione and Demelza what happened," Padma said.

"Mr Potter, come here," Madam Pomfrey said.

"What happened When you fainted a few days ago?" Madam Pomfrey asked.

"Oh you know, rethought all my life decisions, went mentally insane, and hallucinated that my mom was alive and well in front of me," Harry wanted to say, instead he said, "I can't remember."

"Sit, I can find out," Madam Pomfrey knew he was hiding something.

Harry obeyed, he sat down.

"Legemens."

Pictures flashed through Harry's mind, Four men and a woman surrounding him while he was in a crib, a man with long dark hair saying, "It has to be Peter, not me." to whoever was holding baby Harry, James yelling at Lily to take Harry and run, flying motorcycles, Uncle Vernon beating the shit out of little Harry, Dudley beating the shit out of an older Harry, Dudley mocking Harry for having no friends, Hagrid almost killing Uncle Vernon, Dudley's change in attitude towards Harry, shaking Draco's hand, asking for Slytherin, the red stone, falling into oblivion, meeting Padma, slipping Longbottom the remembrall, skipping dinner, pacing, losing his head, feeling like he was trapped, and seeing his mom. She was beautiful.

Harry was whisked back to the hospital wing.

"Albus sent you there! Minerva was right! You were abused for a decade! I will not have this! Don't worry I'll speak to the headmaster. You will not go back there over break."

Everyone was staring at her (except Draco's unconscious body) as she left the hospital wing.

"What?" Padma asked.

"She looked into my mind and-" Realization hit him, "I saw my parents!"

"Ok, and?" Padma asked, "Why did she leave?"

"Er well, I was orphaned so I had to grow up with my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. They weren't exactly thrilled when they found out I was a wizard."

Padma fell silent.

"But I'm fine and they're fine!" Harry quickly blurted out.

"Alright," Padma yawned, "I'm going to bed."

"I'm gonna stay, when Malfoy wakes up I have a few questions for him," Harry said, staring at Malfoy's body.

"I'll make sure Harry doesn't do something illegal," Parvati said to Padma.

"Goodnight," Padma kissed Parvati on the forehead and left.
