Christmas, Good or Bad?
Well, I guess you want to know my thoughts on Christmas and or Easter. No, you are right, it's not a command to celebrate Jesus' birthday. But it is rather something we give to him. Jesus sees all of us as his family members. What do you think Jesus feels when we say Happy Birthday! Jesus! What do you feel when someone says happy birthday to you! Special like He is! Would you not want to celebrate your sons birthday! Not because you have to but because you WANT to. Do not forget Christianity is NOT Judaism! It's the Jews AND Gentiles! Do you know who the first gentiles were! The Romans! You take it like reusing pagan traditions on Christ! But you're seeing passed something! It's not worshipping Christ on pagan holidays! It's the symbolism of the Romans denouncing their former gods, for the one true God, Jesus. If you'd noticed the former worship to those gods on those holidays has ceased since then, and Only dedicated to Christ! afterwards!
